Ericsson T65 - User Reviews

  • Great phone very durable.

  • I'm still using this phone after 15 years. Works perfectly, the battery still lasts 4 or 5 days. It's a very compact and lightweight phone, durable and provides crystal clear sound, even after numerous falls to the ground and tens of thousands of hours call time.

  • I want this phone...

  • Where in South Africa especially cape town where i can get this phone have used if before and i really need it, it wonderful phone which can;t be ignored?

  • Very good telephone, I still use this and he still work perfectly. I bought this telephone not long ago in awesome condition. It is perfectly sophisticated device.

  • Very good phone. Got it today as exchange from a friend. Robust and stable. Never gets stuck, nor lagged in anyway. Audio quality is exceptional at all times. Signal reception is very good, even when other phones get 0 signal this one can still have 1 or 2 bars available. Battery lasts pretty long, even on quick charge lasts 4 days minimum. Even on year 2012 it's still a swedish masterpiece. Bra jobbat Ericsson :)

  • I bought it in 2003 and turned it off in 2006. Load the battery and switch it on in January 2012 and it works just fine. This was the last piece of device Ericsson branded before merging with Sony. Kanon bra.

  • Recently resurrected my T65 after being left unused and in its box for close to nine years. It still works great! Sound quality is superb and battery life is still surprisingly good (for me at least). A couple of issues I have with it: keypad is a bit of a pain to use. If you're into speed texting, then this is definitely not the phone to use. Software is also a tad slow. It was back then, it is more painfully evident today. But I still like this phone. It is so in-your-face retro.

  • i still have this phone but it needs new battery

  • I'm searching for this unit.. Please tell me where can I buy in this times. I love this phone

  • way Better than 3310

  • This phone is great! You can change SIM card without turning it off!

  • gr8888888......

  • Amazing phone! Still working, still holds battery for a week:))

  • bought it in 2001. still got it. STILL WORKING

  • I am still using this phone today. Battery ( original ) only last about four days now, but that's more than enough. It is a great phone altogether, although i had to repair mine once. I dropped it into water and the audio chip failed soon after.

  • I bought it in December 2001 and it's still running. I like it so much, so that I don't want to buy a new one.

  • Bought it 2002 - still fantastic! And do not need feeding very often :-)

  • cool! with inter net! nearly 8 years perfect till now!!!

  • I want to buy'it !! Email pls if you sell'it !

  • super

  • Not using it for 3 years but try to use recently, it feels brand new and never got a problem of running out battery.

  • it has fantastic games and strong battery i just love it

  • hi, i'm using Ericsson T65 somebody can help me to delete email form inbox ???

  • Best phone ever! Still use it since 2002! So for seven years, no problems at all, first battery!

  • A very small phone in that time you couldn't feel it in your pocket

  • I have been using this phone from 2002 since I bought it new. It has been on 24x7 for last 7 years and still the battery holds charge for about a week (used as a second phone). Initially I charge the battery only once in 2 weeks. No one will believe that a mobile battery lasting longer than 7 years. But its true!!!!. I have changed my primary phone 3 times since then and currently using Nokia 6120 Navigator. Battery life of all these phones are a shame.

  • man i am a fan of this phone! I use My Phone Explorer by fjsoft to synchronize it with my PC, all backup, phonebook, messages, and even calender, it has a great battery time indeed, it dosent need any battery charging till a week and charges to full battery within an hour!!! I started using it from 2005 and still i am using it!! One more thing., its soo much tough and durable that i also used it as a weapon in a fight in my college :P Its phone book has all features that modern phones have! no doubt its only 300 but if you look at the specs of only phonebook, then you'll realize messages! hmmm reading messages is a bit slow on this phone, but it works for me! message memory is also less i.e 70 messages ( phone + sim memory ) A great phone indeed! No transmission problem! No problem abt any thing in it!

  • not really a nice phone. bought it, my 5th, but regretted it.

  • My Starburst Yellow is still a star amogst today's feature packed mobiles. Everyone here has their necks stretched out whenever I use it, specially when I attach my accessories to it such as the MCA-10, HPR-10 & HPR-20 & the HPM-10 player. Outstading battery life 3-5 days with normal usage, very clear audio & mine doesn't drop out on its signal strength. I just unscrew it to keep the battery contacts clean since it's built on to the phone itself. Running for 5 years now & still a head turner. BEAT THAT!!!

  • T65, that little mobile is the firs i mobile i had, and i still can count on it until now. i usedit from early 2004, and theres no complaint abaout the performance,. the batery are really great,...... My aunty choose it for me. And u know its a right choice........... =)

  • Very handy if you have more than one sim (there's a little drawer for the sim)

  • For free T65 user guide pdf to download I found it at Sony Ericsson site.

  • I'm using my great little T65 again here in Australia after a couple of years. Sadly I've lost its user manual. Any way I can download one off the net? I've tried several sites but no luck so far.

  • I would like to join for the others. I have also this phone since 2002 summer and it is still working fine. :-).

  • I'm having this phone since sept. 2002, and it's still works like the day I bought it. The only difference is in battery life, now it lasts 7 days instead of 9, how was in first couple of years. Best phone ever, but I just can't look at it anymore! :D

  • I've been using this phone since March 2004, so from 4,5 years. I've changed many phones, but recently I had to return to it, simply, because it remains the best phone I've ever had. The batteryy sill goes for 5-6 days in moderate talking, the calls settings are almost perfect, the size is very comfortable, and ... during the very sunny days the screen is so visible and clear, because it has no colour screen.

  • The best one I've ever used

  • Really ... i have T65 from 2002! Mobile still working without wrong. Batery is good (4 days) after 5 years. Very goooood mobile.

  • Best phone I've ever had: used from mid 2002 to mid 2005..afterwhat it started to crash like Windows is used to do...(while you use it for text messaging for example) After a full cleaning, it was a little better but 1 month later it started again and was almost unusable. Battery still last 8 days in standby mode. Keypad is worn and some keys can't be read anymore...but keyboard still works fine. I regret that phone compared to my new Sagem MyV76 bought last year. Sagem functions sucks compared to (Sony)Ericcson ones! I've just sold my sagem and I'll bought a W810i from SE!

  • excellent phone!4 years and counting.best buy i've ever done.

  • I have this phone for 4 years. It has about 500 hours(talking time) and the battery works about 3 days. I will never sell it!!!

  • yes indeed, the T65 is a great great phone... the battery is great... 5 days Excelent phone !

  • It's the only phone i can count on. It's really great. I had moto t720i, nokia 6600, siemens cx65, se k700i n every1 broke or sumtin but my t65 never failed me. I've got it since 4 years or so. The battery is reaaaaally great. No other phone standed that long. Really great phone n i really love it... since 4 years

  • There's a mistake in this phones' description. This mobile phone HAS HSCSD. I have this phone almost 4 years so I know, what am I talking about :) .

  • @n2iQ, I can understand your opinion perfectly, have a T65 polar too, love it...!just for it's form, don't care about it's performance, main thing is...do and recieve calls....and it still works perfectly

  • oh dear, it's so cool, I'm proud to have a polar blue version of the T65 perfectly working , now in these ultra modern S.E. W900i umts times..... I don't care...

  • I still use T65 almost 3.5 years and the batterij is stabil until now. I really surprise for the performance. Signal may not too strong. But I am not disappointed that I have buyed this phone.

  • One solid little phone. True story, The old man left the T65 in his work shorts. The old lady washed said shorts. Dad found the wet mobile after the wash and then took one week to a locate a screw driver for the phone. After opening the phone to let dry out in the sun put the phone back together and what do you know it works like new. Tough little phone :)

  • Dear Sir/Ms Good day ,can you show us the details files and parts of phone book t65 ,because I want to know how can I transport the list of phone book to sim cart . Best Regards Reza

  • To ipoer: Indonesia? That's very far from Switzerland! I am terribly sorry, but I can't tell you where you can find a new battery in your country! I bought mine in a official Sonyericsson service center, maybe you have some similar shop in your country too! enjoy good old T65!

  • Oh thanks Alex... Now I have one used...It's really nice I like this phone...BTW can you tell me where can I buy a new T65 battery..?Oh..I live in Indonesia..

  • To Ipoer: that's a good decision! Where do you live? I must say, it's not very easy to get a T65 in good conditions nowadays!I bought one in some sort of "turkish bazar" here in Switzerland but had to buy a new cover, a new screen and a new battery! But now I am very happy with my polar blue T65!

  • Hi..I like Ericsson Handphone...My first phone is GF788 and the last is R380s...now I am using Motorola C380..but I want to come back to Ericsson and I want Ericsson T65... Can you tell me..where can I buy it?

  • I have this hp from 4 years and its great. I've found one problem - low signal, but sometimes it is veeery comfortable ;))

  • dis phone sux

  • Hi I think ericsson t65 is one of the best fone ericsson company has produced, I love everything about it the only problem I ve with it is its low signal strenght it pisses me up when I go to some places and discove that other fone with the same network have signal and mine none. Nevertheless I still love it I ve been using it for the past one year now and no problem encountered so far cheers Ericsson!

  • Hi saravanan! Glad to hear that someone else is lucky with the old T65!!! Are you happy with its performances too? I know there are by far better fones now, but are you somebody who prefers first of all a nice fone? I like mine in every way, although certain people can't stop to laugh about me...

  • i recently bought brand new t65, polar blue phone for RM200 in penang. warranty for 1 year and its a kind of kewl phone. i love this phone coz its just look nice and perfect design. the credit should go to ericsson for bring such a nice evergreen kewl phone.

  • will I be the very last man in the world to write about the t65 in 2005? Does anybody still use it everyday, as I do?

  • Not only the Battery! I love it's design, among all modern phones, I never saw one that was more beautiful, even in the year 2005! And for a second fone it's perfect! Going back to the roods...

  • The Battery is excellent!!

  • its too long in connecting............. but, performance, OK and elegant!!

  • This phone is ecelent design, Display is large, font sizes can change. key-pad is bit dificult but its ok. Very Good phone.

  • I bought my second t65 because my first one was stollen from me...so I think the battery has to be an original one for that long long standby time...

  • i has used it for 3 month and i can say it is a good hp.but there are something that i dislike about this hp are it's keypad.to small and hard to press.there only 1 game and to many protocol to send sms...

  • Yea! I very like this phone. It's many usefull features. The way it looks is also nice. Maybe it's oldie now, without Java, camera, mp3 player.. but, if Ya don't really need them this is one of the best phones for U. :)

  • im pissed off nobodys e-mailed me yet with the manual but i think i have the problem sorted (the problem im talking about is in the last thing i posted a few weeks ago)you see i had oniy been using it wioth a sim1 but tomorrow im getting a sim2 and i know youre thinking "dude on this same site there is a link to the manual" i know i have clicked on it it didnt work its the same with all the other links i have found to it but none of them work they all come up with the same page it has the sony-ericsson logo(whats that about?)and say "404 error" i might ask vodafone to fix my fone if the new sim card doesnt work.i live in new zealand

  • the BEST of the BEST!!! the BEST phone ever created

  • A pretty good phone. Nice call quality, although the signal strenght can go pretty low at times. Good battery - i recharge once every 4 days and i TALK A LOT! Keypad is kinda stupid... hard to press. The menu is ok although it takes a really long time to get in the SMS Inbox (20-30 seconds). I recommend it...

  • i just boughi a t65 and i am having a few problems so far.First of all it freezes when i push the wap browser button or move across it on the meneu .Plus as i bought it second hand i dont have the owners manual so could someone please e-mail it to me.

  • how can i find ericssonr310s?please,email me,i really want to have it!thanks!

  • I would like to enjoy the full potential of my phone but my wap settings are not set and I have no IDEA where to go.

  • this is a really,really shit....fuckin shit....numa probleme mi-a creat!!!!!

  • good

  • It has a VERY VERY LOW software, you spent a lot of time to write an sms, or to doeverything. After 1,5 years the sim card holder doesn't function properly. Now I have to change it. It's NOT reccomended.

  • Two words (PURE SHIT) This has to be one of the worst phones ericsson has come up with in the last 4 years. you cant access the battery, the sim card holder falls out, and you cant clean it if you get shit inside the screen.. as i said PURE SHIT!!

  • I highly recommend this phone, it is a combination of elegance and high quality craftsmanship which makes this phone tower above others in its price bracket.

  • Does anyone know how to enable the bluetooth from a T65? Or is the blue tooth just for the image?

  • its the most stupid phone.pure shit

  • I highly recommend this phone. Very affordable and good quality especially the GPRS - WAP features !!

  • How can i compose melodies on this phone? And can i buy a cd with extras, to uopgrade menu!

  • not so good design... i wont buy this

  • hay my telephone email confıgıratıons.t65 for my maıl adress your maıl adress and emaıl confıguratıons ok?

  • Do someone know were to buy a software for this phone to take photos with the mobile camera MCA-10

  • Hello...so...this mobile phone is very good, high performance and good price.I bought an T65 last month and i am very pleased.BUT...there are some bugs in his soft.Sometimes it blocks himself...Atention how use this phone...BYE

  • just excellent!

  • Perfect phone

  • As a former General Manager of a medium-sized GSM network, I have used a lot of phones. I must say that Motorola seems to have outdone themselves in making this one bad. It is in fact worse than the first Motorola Timeports that were introduced several years ago. I highly discourage people from considering this phone. It is lacking features and difficult to use.

  • i dont like the ring tones that are already saved to the phone and its to difficult to form a new one

  • cool

  • Hi everybody! Does anyone know how to display the date on its display just like the R520m? Id like to always see the date not just when I go to the Status menu. If anyone know how to, please email me. Thanks

  • This phone is great!!! It's the best one i've ever had. I found some bugs on it, but regardless it, Ericsson T65 has a nice design, high sound quality, a lot of features, long lasting battery life time, you don`t need to remove mobile cover in order to change the SIM card. The bigest bug I found on it, it's the tempo of mellodies in own composer, because it plays too fast. BUT ERICSSON T65 IT'S A REALLY GREAT PHONE!!! Don't believe NOKIA cos' its a bullshit.

  • How can I add numbers directly into the SIM card phonebook ?

  • I want to ask if there is any software to import or export the phone book to or from t65 to my pc ??

  • its not bad, but a little bit hard to write messageson it

  • Man..this phone really rules...I mean, what else would you want? Cheap, small, light, WAP, GPRS, games...all in one! If u are runing low on monew..this is the best phone you could buy!

  • I think the phone is great but the ringtones are fairly pathetic as you can't decide on the tempo of your melody and not amny ringtones are compatible.

  • i have a t65 ericsson and i`am please with him it`s a very smart phone and it`s so practical but i dont know how to download message pictures from the net ..the phone it`s almoust the best after Ericsson T65i here in Romania.. Thanks Ericsson ...

  • How can i download a new picture from a WAP for may t-65,help

  • Have Ti65i nice phone nice features but it sucks!! The phone has VERY weak signal pickup the losse of connection is common problem... I been getting voive mail notifications for messages that were left a day before... I called tech support because I could not dial out... been told that the phone can be crush by its screen saver... and they considered it as a noraml part of an operation!!! For the most part the phone is OK, the signal pikcup what gets me the most, the motorolla phone is SO much better, friend of my has it and where my is dead his works just fine! We both have the same AT&T service...

  • cool phone!

  • this phone rules it kicks ass best phone ive ever had did have sl45 this whips it ass with extra added whipings

  • plese translate information all of the hanset ericsson

  • Its a great phone. In Hungary the latest models are supplied with Li-ion-mark back covers, but LiPoly battery inside the phone. Its almost a hi-end handy.

  • In my opinion, this is the gratest phone in the world (after the T68 of course). I just happen to own one and it's great! great functions,fast,small,light...what more can you want?!...

  • kode

  • Ericsson T65 is the best mobile in the world i just love this mobile

  • I hate that phone. The battery never work.

  • Mircea : Front Covers are a bit different..2002 are more silver-like looking and cover is looking a bit thicker..

  • it is very beautiful and easy to use .i love it too muuch

  • i just got one today it is a good phone

  • super telephone!

  • pls help ? i need to know how can i change the Tempo of My Melodies in The Ericson T65.thank u

  • Good phone but sometimes it freezes by himself. Can someone tell me how can I store new numbers directly on my SIM card without doing it in internal memory and than copying it to SIM.

  • The T65 is possibly the most crappest handset ever made, even worse than the philips savvy. we used to sell them at work, however, every single one we sold ELF'd - providing lots of heartache. stupidly fragile.

  • Hi! i think that ericsson t65 it's one of the most populiar mobil phone of the most countries than as Lithuania where I live now. thanks, that phone is very good.

  • How can I display the Ericsson logo(a male figure & melody)at my Ericsson T65 when I switch on the phone?

  • the new t65 (2002 model) it's better.I mean it sounds great and it's not slow

  • some problem detected

  • some time it's hang, cannot do anything, all button fail but 'NO' button. only one game, how to down-load another games? The charger also look bulky & heavy. But, it's look nice, like mine...stardust yellow.

  • T65 it's fantastic!A lot of options and good performance. The design is also a strong point of this phone. The menu is the same on T68 (which has infrared and colour display) but the T65 is 3 times cheaper than a T68.I'm very satisfied about my new T65.

  • i want to ask.whitch is beter t39 or t65?lithuaniaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!! ciulpkit visi byby!

  • Could anyone tell me how much scheduler entries and how long emails can the phone handle? SonyEricsson just don't wanna answer...

  • Had one of these well smart phones for about 4 months (now got samsung t100) it used to reset its self about twice a week but i loved it 2 bits, want another one now! Much better than my old Nokia 33**'s! Buy one if you can!

  • Great phone. I want to buy it. Can the phone vibrating when you got message?

  • Wicked phone..... this phone gives you everything for just a small price. From now i'm a true believer ericsson makes state of the art phones chew on that nokia

  • this phone i love, but in this phone is some little troble for me.I can't call from this phone, only recieve call.PLS! tall me what can I do?

  • Looks good, nice features, long-life battery, friendly, loud and clear sound. This is my 3-rd phone from Ericsson...and the best. I also reccomand T29&T39...Don't trust Nokia bullshit. If u wanna waste your money buy a Nokia made in China or Koreea...

  • Please, could anybody tell me what is the Battery size of mAh of this phone ?? Is it 850 mAh or 1000 mAh ?? Thank you Ehab Elgawady

  • I bought this phone more than a month ago. I had problems with it since. Now, they changed it and i still have problems with the new one. I want to buy a Siemens. Besides the problems the phone is great. But as I said, lots of problems. Hangups, resets, sim errors etc.

  • This is my first Ericsson, and I must say that I was very impressed by its features. Unfortunately, this phone is extreamely unstable. It freezes all the time. And this is not just my phone... many people experience the same or similar problems with it. Just check out: esato.com's forums. Anyway, it has great features. The games are great (especially the tetris), even there are only 3 games, but not 4 as in the manual. The battery life is great- 1 week. The screen and the light are great, too...!!! The sound is good, even there is a lack of melodies. The increasing ring option is great! I will now buy either S45 either GD75, because T65 is so unstable...

  • just bought it today and i've explored the features, it was nice, it's easy to learn, very clear receiving, boy friend loves it and he use T29s,very good one...

  • Good phone, very good stand by time and a lot of features, some very useful (pop3 email client) sone not (picture phonebook) but funny. Best price/quality combination. To bad is made in china and the batery can't be remuved by usual cunstomers.

  • please sent me melodies for Ericsson T 65

  • The only "problem" I have is the battery life time. I mean, my T65's battery lasts for about one week or so, and it suppose to last for almost 12 days. Does your T65 act different? The backgroud pictures can affect the battery's life time? Yes or no? I'm a maniac when it comes to battery life time. Besides this, T65 it's a little piece of jewelery! Just GREAT!!!

  • good!

  • You can make the ringtones go slower if you hold the keys when entering the notes so a "." (dot) shows after the notes. Then it plays faster than the older Ericssons but slow enough. The other things: maybe the keys are too small but the fone is one of the greatest. It has a HUGE display and the logos are cool. It has everything you need except IR. I like it. Mine is made in China, not a perfect manifacture but close. :-))) And YES the alarm does ring when the fone is off.

  • please, somebody tell me whether the alarm works when the phone is switched off

  • the phone is okay except for these two problems:- 1. Keys are too small as a result the alphabets on it is difficult to read in dark. 2. Writing SMS is difficult. 3. Holding it while talking is also troublesome.

  • My brand new T65 arrived yesterday. It has locked up about 8 times giving a black screen, requiring a reset & it also constantly shows corrupt graphics. Judging by the number of similar experiences on here it has serious problems.

  • Ammi this blue one on the top is my phone

  • I have a big problem-need urgent help. I have to decide in two days whether to buy a Samsung N500 or Ericsson T65. Which is better? Which has more features? PLEASE HELP, PLEASE

  • I have a big problem-need urgent help. I have to decide in two days whether to buy a Samsung N500 or Ericsson T65. Which is better? Which has more features? PLEASE HELP, PLEASE

  • I've just finished exploring it after 1st day of use, and I'm very satisfied! This is my 3rd Ericsson, and the best one(T10, T20). I had also a few Siemens(C25, A36, S35), one Motorola(V3690), and one Sony(CMD-Z5), but T65 is really something. Now waiting to test battery life. Plus: dimensions, big display, very loud and clear sound from earphone!!!, ergonomic for hold and use, very strong signal for internal antenna!!! Minus: maybe to small number-keys, but I think it's a compromisse with great display. Love it!!!

  • I want more information.

  • well........i'm 16 years old and the T65 is my second phone........i like it......it has a great batery.....i recharge it only once a week and i like it's screen.it is preaty cheap so.....buy it

  • Its not slow.......the latest software upgrade improve the speed a lot.....and its a great buy !!!

  • It looks very good to me, but I read these opinions about T65 and it seems to be very slow. Please tell me if I should buy it or not and why. write me to my e-mail adress.

  • It looks very good to me, but I read these opinions about T65 and it seems to be very slow. Please tell me if I should buy it or not and why. write me to my e-mail adress.

  • if you have problems with T65 the best thing you can do is change the software. Some T65 were not made by Ericsson! The same problem is with Nokia 3310,5510! This phones where made in Hungary not in a Nokia or Ericsson factory

  • What a shit phone. Bought 1 a week ago and i have been through 3 of them already. The problem i encounted was that while they are on they would switch off and then switch back on by themselves. The second phone actually done this while it was ringing. As for customer support from Ericsson on a phone that was only a few days old, none at all..... Thanks to the dealer that admitted there are alot of problems with these phones and refunded my money...... Will be going back to Nokia again with the joy of fading screens. At least i can receive calls.....

  • Ericsson T65 is the best!

  • It's the best. The only problem is that it has no very good signal. Good luck!

  • wap.esato.com for ringtones and logos

  • please ı want to get a ringtones for t65.please help me

  • I currently have a Nokia 8250 and I like to update twice a year. I have been looking for info about this phone and everything ive found so far has it being 50/50 can anyone please tell me more about this phone? I write 2000/3000 SMS a month and WANT a fast SMS service the Nokia I have is quite fast which I like, but as I said,I want to upgrade,is the T65 good for SMS etc? the other phones I am looking toward are Nokia 8310,6510 and Ericsson T65.. can someone tell me how the phones rate against each other? I need info ASAP,... thanks! Nokia 8310

  • why The Ericsson cant answer these questions!?! I have alot of problem with my t65 at the same time it is very expensive. Please hear us! dear Ericsson, cant dicrease honour......

  • It does have bugs...lots of 'em! I've had one of the very first ones on the market: it worked like a charm! After changing about 4 phones I considered returning to T65: not one single piece of the ones i tried worked properly... so I guess there's an opposite to the ideea that first ones are the worst. Too bad Ericsson can't keep a quality standard...

  • Hello. I want to buy this phone, but now i hear everywhere that if you want to sms it goes very slow. Is this correct or not. Please give some info. mail me. Thx.

  • Great phone, buttons are too small for my fingers, slow when entering sms...Otherwise quite happy with the phone, Mine only came with three games, apparently supposed to have four!!!

  • I absolutely LOVE this phone. I'm a complete teck nut and am sitting here drulling. The problem is my area uses a TDMA network and not GSM. Is there a TDMA or GAIT version (compatible with both TDMA and GSM) cause my local Cable & Wireless might just go GSM soon. I know about the T60 which is TDMA but not as good as the T65 I will pay $∞

  • i need sofware for Ericsson T65 i have some praplem in my mobil tons thanks for help me

  • I don't know why my t65 always switchs on and off ALONE??????

  • I am from Lithuania and I am cosidering to buy this phone. But when I was in the store they said me that this phone has bug's , the software is bad.

  • Yes....it can exchange pictures ria SMS or download from wap site, also you can exchange ringtone to other ericsson phone ria SMS too

  • is that t65 also can exchange picture and ring tone with pther user? pls email me

  • Hi, I'm a nokia girl, but have the decision in the next to days what phone to get now. Options: nokia 8250, 5210, 5510 - which i like (opinion pls), or Ericsson T65.... Pls tell me your thoughts and experience???? Thanks

  • Very good phone 5 numbers for each contact, SMSs are in phone memory if u dont save them to SIM Battery lasts long, good and strong connectiion and stand-by signal, big screen with sizeble font, but the software is very slow. Visit esato.com for phone logos and ringtones :))

  • Hi I'm here in Australia,I'm considering buying this phone and I was just wondering firstly what games are on this phone, and also has anyone actually found a way to slow down the ringtones yet? also how are the ringtones that come with the phone? and finally but most importantly if someone with a nokia sends me a ringtone what happpens with this phone? is it compatible?

  • For all the Nokia supefans: I used to be one of you guys, until I put my heands on an T65. Stilish, big screen, an very good menu and not least you pay less for better. An far more user friendly! You can do almoust everythig. For all the people who complained about T65: read the manual first men! You'll see why!

  • COOL! Gonna get one and now saving money to get it!!! ViVa ErIcSsOn!!!

  • Well, a nice phone and for sure, a big step for Ericsson. But just one simple question: how can I save a number in SIM memo? Seem that the only option that you have is to save it as a "contact" in phone memory. Which sucks really! Tanks!

  • ringtones & logo-game

  • Weird how so many people love this phone... I went with Ericsson because their old(er) models have been bulletproof, so simple, so quick, so fuss-free. Now I find with this one they've changed the interfaces and commands all over the place, and the inconsistencies drive me nuts. Mr Pissd Off is right, there are so many ridiculously tortuous routes to get ANYTHING done; sometimes you're supposed to press "Yes" and sometimes you're supposed to wait instead - and HOW MANY CLICKS does it take to reply to or forward one damn SMS?? Plus, this must be the SLOWEST phone i've ever seen... ages to write an SMS using T9, and has anyone tried to delete any messages off one of these? Better make sure you've got something else to do in the meantime. Quite disappointed, really; phones are supposed to make life easier, not more confusing, slower, stranger, and more frustrating. Off to sell mine now...

  • I have changed two T65 so far. Even though showing network connection, the phone actually loosees connection with the operator and yu have to switch it on and off in order to make and receive calls. Now I am changing the SIM, maybe I shall this will solve the problem. What do you think? Any one else with this problem?

  • this is a God's gilf

  • Ifind the phone fine but the instructions are not that easy towork out also the ring tones are horrible and it costs a fortune to download any new ones or is that their plan

  • the first versions of the t65 which was shipped in europe october of last year has the buzzing sound in the speaker and some other defects. before buying please know the version number of the software. no phones are perfect and even nokia phones have bugs even if it is a new model. most small phones coming out today look like toys, the nokia 8310 for example.

  • hi there I have a t65 myself , it's a nice phone, but afer 4weeks it all went wrong because all the sounds that are supposed to come out of a telephone didn't work anymore how strange , but I brouhgt it to the store but it is already 4weeks away and I haven't heard anything yet(ggrrrr,...)still love ericsson

  • nice phone, but a built-in car kit is still not available.

  • a-si dori si eu lista cu preturi la telefoanele erics son

  • I just got my beautiful T65 today, I have only just managed to put it down. I think its the best phone I have had, and I have had a few over the past couple of years. I never again want a Nokia...

  • Fucking sheet phone. I bought it and at the same day, the very first day after 3 hours, i went to Ericsson's Certified Service Center for a noisy BUZZZ!!!! on the headphone. At the service center there was other 3 people with the same problem in their brand new T65!!! Fuckkkkkk!!!! ALWAYS TRUST NOKIA!

  • I love the phone but am having inordinate problems trying to download ringtones. Any helpful hints?

  • Please answer. I'm interested in buying it: Does T65 support multi-field contacts (name/phone1/phone2/email etc) on phone memory instead of name/number on SIM? Does T65 save SMS messages on SIM or in phone memory? Is the number of SMS messages limited by the SIM capacity or it stores SMSs in internal memory? Thank you...

  • In Viet Nam, it is said to be very bad. The quality of the phone is very low, battery is about 60 hours. And a very special thing is the warranty stamp, there are two stamp on back side and they will crashed after 2 months using. I do not know why T65s in Viet Nam are bad like that.

  • nice, but it makes a buzzing sound, and when people call me, it sometimes makes hissing sounds, and sometimes my connection is lost!! (it is not my operators fault, nokia 3210 used to recieve well..)

  • missed-bluetooh end mms.SUPER

  • I want buy a T65. But I don't know, is it better then other mobile phone (sony J70, T39, T29 ...)When I look it's shape, I think it look like a toy and it doesn't reliable. If you had work with it. Give me advise.

  • i have the same problem with the ringtones.. too fuckin fast !!! any ideas?

  • Yeah, I knew that one, but still, it sucks that u have to go through all that (let alone the fact that, by the time u get there, u forget which number is which, as there are all unsaved numbers) for a freakin' number! Why do they have to fuck-up on such things?!? It's as if they took pleasure on gettin' on your nerves!

  • Mr. PissedOff.. there seems to be a way to save a T65 call-list entry to the phonebook: Menu - [Phonebook]-[Add Contact]-[Home] (or Work, Mobile, Fax,...) then cursor left and [unsaved nos.]

  • ---READ THIS----- very nice fucking phone i am using on e but i have problem with the ringtones are too fast and there is no tempo. An other problem is that i push left button

  • WAP means money dude, and there's no way I'm gonna spend money for a smiley to look at me from the screen! Besides, u can do a lot more with the cable, like synchronizing the phon with the PC...so, my advice is: stick with the cable, and make it an usb one, if possible!

  • Yes hello Ericsson T65 is a great phone but some of the first phone they sent out to Norway have a failior it makes a shhhhhshiiishhh sound and the baterytimes is like BAD! no batery after 5 minutes on the phone. Well Ericsson have admitted this problem and to get it fixsed just deliver your phone to your dealer and the fix it in a week. And NO you dont need a datacable to download Startup Animation and Screensavers this can be downloaded with wap go to the wap setings and to the option write new url there you can write an url that leedsa you directly to a logo! To find a website with logos go to www.send.subnet.dk

  • Absolutely fantastic at last Ericssons have got their act together and making fantastic looking phones.I am selling this one in place of Nokia's

  • There's a free Picture Program on www.sonyericssonmobile.com to download. But in order to use that, u need a data cable for the phone. As for the ring composer, it sucks big time, if u ask me...still, the keys might take it (but there's a real problem if u have hot dog wieners for fingers)

  • i just wanna make sure that the keypads r fine , i wanna buy this phone coz its cheap and the other options in it are ok with me, the point is , i compose alot of ringtoms and i like doing that on the mobile itself , will the keppad take that much use ? and what about that slow response from the buttons? one last thing: if it doesnt have the ir-port , how can i download any other pics? im new in the cell phone business:) thanks anyway

  • foarte buna

  • it is just a great phone! i'm fully satisfied about this phone!!!!!!

  • This phone has a rubbish key pad, keys are far to close together and too soft, the numbers on mine are already starting to rub off - what a waste of money :-(

  • ba e scump telefonul asta ...si e si de cacat

  • I think toy mean the Nokia 5210 my firend. The Ericsson is better, more features, fast(ish), although I am not to certain on the buttons - I believe they are made from rubber, they may not last long! - The 5210 has a rubbish battery life.

  • Hi this phone better than the Nokia 5520, I used to have an Ericsson A2618 and it was w@nk, very slow in responding to a command + I though the user interface was not as good as Nokia, what do you chaps think????

  • Not infrared port, bugs such as batery stand by,sometimes freezes, their is a noise in standby .

  • My t65 is making a buzzing sound. Not only when i am calling. Is this normal??

  • thats a good deal that the gprs is ready to use i like it

  • no infrared port ,battery less than 200 hours, good receiving,

  • Realy pleased with the phone at the moment. I just have one question can you slow down the ring tones you put in as my Flinstones tune and others sound like they are on speed.

  • Yeah...maybe the japs'll put some reson into the collective brain that seems to be running Ericsson!

  • When I first got the T65,I was extatic with its features and apparent flawless software. Now, after 1 month of using it I have to say that Ericsson seems to be very fuckin'fond of their traditional bugs!!! The phone freezes sometimes (especially when vocal commands are used), it reboots itself and more annoying than anything: u can NOT save the numbers of those who send you SMS or those who just beep you in order to get their numbers. Neither can u save a number from the call list!!! That's just plain fuckin' stupid!!! For G's sake, when are they going to pay more respect to the customers?! Learn from Saab, u twits! They're swedish as well, but they seem to know where their money comes from: customers, you idiots!

  • it is the first day that i have this phone and i cant stand it.It is not easy to understund.it has many bugs and it misses the most usefull stuff.i think it is a low category phone. sorry!!

  • I have one. Its simply great. No more nokias for me. Im surprised~with ericsson. Great phone.

  • my wap site my.wapjag.com/ericssont68 now offers 1 FREE Melody and 1 FREE EMS picture enter the wap site for more info!!T65 owners can enjoy this wap site too!!Details info etc etc

  • Nah, not a coward...just a smartass who can't tell irony from apparent "gratitude" without inverted commas...as for the writting style, I ain't here to make literary comparison, especially between such masterpieces "moderator" and his/her fans. OK, case closed. Have fun with the phone if u're goin' to buy it

  • Sorry for continuing this but I just couldn't resist. =) First of all, thank you very much for your answere. Then to the arguement, yes I emphasized that it was irony, cause I wasn't sure that you would get it if I didn't, judging by your previous postings. And apparently I was right, cause you didn't realise that it was irony in your first answere on my post (you actually seemed to thank me for my understanding), but in your second post it seemed to get through. "Yeah, that was funny." And has it not occured to anyone that the first and second moderator isn't the same guy, compare writing styles, and that he is right. T68,T65,T66 and R600 were planned and made by Ericsson only, not with the help of Sony. Feel fre to answere me, but as you said yourself, I'm not that into discussing shit here, so I wont respond (call me a coward or just call me lazy). Think your right on the spot when you say there's not much point playing games when you have lag on the keypad. But I think I will buy it anyway, the T65 has just the right size, prize and functions.

  • BTW, I ignored your irony, as irony ain't smart no more when emphasized by its author...

  • Hey Manu, thx for the understanding, I don't really enjoy chattin'shit here, but the dude got me started. To answer your dillema, the games blow big time and they're even worse because of the delayed response of they keys. Still, the phone is extremely good and loaded...But, if u can choose, I'd recommend the Siemens ME45. I also have one of those and, in reliability, it really makes a difference

  • Very smart remark BadAssMofo, hope you understand irony. Could someone get back to the subject about the phone? I'm wondering if the games in this one are good?

  • Moderator dude, if you're already on pills, maybe you sholud consider an OD, huh? So, I take it that when they let u out from the isolation area, u're heading stright for the PC to post comments on GSMArena? Man, put that long sleeved white shirt on u! U'll get cold!

  • Man, I'm allready on pills, that's just one of my many problems. SO GET OFF MY BACK! Pretty please with sugar on it.

  • moderator brother...It's only a phone O.K.. chill out..anyone got some chill pills for this guy??

  • For the last fucking time. T65 and T68 are not a jointventure of SonyEricsson. Theese phones were allready made by Ericsson before the merge, so both of theese phones are 100% Ericsson. And Wall, youre beating a very dead horse, the man is saying that the T68 has bluetooth, not the T65.

  • As the guy below said, wow, I'm shocked! Even now that I've bought it, I'm still discovering new stuff in it! The only weak points are the dimm light and the delayed key-menu response but u'll get over that in no time once u see what's it do! Damn, One giant leap for Ericsson! Haaaaail Sony for dragging Ericsson out of the mud-pool and into the real world!

  • iskam za vzema 1200 broia molia ako moge cena za 1 broi.

  • wow. i saw one in a store today. wow. i'm shocked

  • I'm using one, it's a nice little phone

  • i'v used 3210 5110 8210 3310 & 6210!!!!!!!!AND I THOUGHT that nokia is the fucking best manufactor in the market.........until i got my hands on ericsson's t39 i fell in fucking love with this work of art....... now im cant wait to order the t68/65

  • iwv never imagind that ericsson will be this brilient

  • r600 is cheaper and has almost the same features exept the pop3 e-mail

  • very nice phone!!!!! worth buying

  • nice!!

  • and ur 2 super gprs phones costs.........

  • desine & price my man!!!

  • ericsson rules

  • nokia has two super gprs phones the 8310 and the 6310 and a blurtouth phone which is 6310 again ! so when you dont know smth shut up i r baboon

  • much beter than nokia's phons

  • and most importent nokia has no phones with built in bluetooth™ technology

  • nice!!!!!!!!!! ericsson is so much better than nokia....it has better lookin phones, more useful phones and it has much much more functions plus nokia almost has no GPRS phones......ericsson for ever!

  • OK!

  • does the t65 have a text alert on it? my memory sucks!!

  • dear expert u forgot somthing very imoportent that the t68 has and the t65 doesnt...........bluetooth! and the r600 doesnt either. but the t39 has and it costs less than t65

  • I'm one of the very proud owners of this phone and T68. The T65 is better in some ways, for e.g. it's a lot cheaper, in Sweden it's USD 150-300 and the T68 is USD 450-550, so it's cheaper than anywhere else (except Finland), and the reason for that is because Sweden and Finland are the two leading countries in GSM in almost every area!! (I do not say this because I'm half Finnish and half Swedish, but the proffesionals all over the world say so). Another reason why T65 is a little better is that because the T68 has colour it can be quite slow when you use WAP, browse the inventory and especially when you write SMS, which is very irritating for people that type quickly. But they are both excellent phones, the best ever!! And a answer to "where can I buy it?": I don't know about your countries but in Sweden it's very hard to find a electronics or mobile phone store not selling it. Conclusion: You don't have to think twice about buying T65, but do think that when and if you buy T68 it's only because of the colour and it's a lot more expensive. And do remember that Ericsson R600 will soon be released (in late November or early December in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway) and it will be almost the same as T65 but half as expensive (USD 75-170 in Sweden and Finland).

  • To mister unkown...why are nokia gprs phones better..I'm in the market for a new phone..your comment doesn't prove much?

  • nice very nice

  • nice!!! but what is the price and where can i buy?

  • oh and it costs 285$

  • very nice phone. here is a site that cells it & the t68 and delivers worl-wide (the page of ericsson) :http://www.expansys.com/other.asp?man=ERICS

  • It's very cool ! I will buy it when it comes to my country.

  • Great but what is the price?

  • Got these in stock yesterday. Great phone. I agree it looks better than the T68. I am using one for myself :) The best phone Ericsson have produced for a while.

  • Looks nice

  • Good phone, not bad...

  • i think this phone will be next on the line for me.. looks great!

  • A very well-designed phone with useful features. And it is much better looking than the T68.

  • 2 new Ericsson Phones revealed today...

  • regarding the Nokia issue, Nokia's first GPRS phone the 8310 will probably twice the price of the T65, the differences is: the T65 doesn't have an ir-port, and no FM-Radio(?!?) T65 weights about 10g more and is a bit larger, but it also have a bigger and better display. That's just what iv'e heard, don't flame me.

  • I agree with you Caff. It really looks excellent! Small and elegant, nice BIG display. Indeed a piece of art.

  • Cool pictures of T65 can be seen from this website.... looks excellent !!!

  • To you who said Nokia-GPRS phones are better. Nice thinking, but they hardly exist!

  • It really looks to be a very competent phone. It has all features that a normal user needs and much more. Physical performans is on top and it looks great too. Has potential to be a bestseller.

  • nokia gprs-phones are better!!!.

  • This is the nicest phone after T68... I've experienced it during a CeBIT Event in my country..It will be out in october.. Nice menus,resolution,weight....and so on...A piece of ART'

  • i think it will be good but i didnt see it yet
