The Gionee Elife E7 is a bad phone. It has battery problems. The phone doesnot even last a day, the screen is poor quality, the speakers are not really loud. The camera is excellent, that I agree for a 2014 phone. It has many issues like bad UI, a stuck Android 4.4.4 and no updates ever after. A lot of chines and unwanted spam-ware that comes with the phone and most of all very low quality support.

I dont know of any other Gionee phones but E7 is as useless as anything. I bought my Gionee E7 newly in June 2016. My first encounter was with its screen. People used to complain that I failed to pick their calls whenever they called my line but at first I found it funny because the screen went blank (dark). Whenever I am charging it I noticed that the light always comes up (which means that the phone never switched off despite the dark screen). I decided to use my other line to call the sim inside my Gionee and noticed what people have been saying to be true. It usually rings from the phone I called with but my Gionee never blink a light or ring tone to signify an incoming call. I took it to the service centre and it was fixed within close to 2 weeks. After some weeks (3-4), it started powering off itself. I really don't know why a phone of less than a year would give issues such as this. It reboots severally but never powered on. I usually power on the phone myself manually by pressing and holding down the power button. This phone is not recommended for anyone. Buyers beware!

Yes memory allicated for application. It shows storage space running out. Until recently there were around 280 apps on this 16GB ROM 2GB RAM device. Now only 230 apps after removing some. With all these apps creates huge caches and runs outta memory.

I won the phone during Gionee Xmas contest in 2013,got the phone in 2014 February 11. I still use it without any problems. Nearly 3yrs now. I have installed 250 plus apps. Not big games, just below 100mb size apps. Now only problem is memory problem due to all these apps. I think battery now dreains a bit faster. Other than that, never visited a service centre.

hi. i bought my first gionee E7 in april 2014 which i lost within a months time. but i had enjoyed the phones performance and i bought the same phone again. so its been 24 months now. have enjoyed using the phone all this while. performance while multi tasking has been fine, never felt a lag watsover. in chrome i have had about 10-15 tabs open at a time. loaded the phone with apps as i like to experiment n try new apps and retain the ones i find interesting. at present i have 53 apps loaded. it does get hot while charging sometimes or while watching streaming vids from youtube etc. camara has been good. though i struggled to find decent covers all this while n had to settle with a plain black one. im happy i bought this phone again. though today the navigation buttons gave up :( so im online trying to figure a remedy. saw a lot of negative comments on this handset hence sharing my experience with the gionee E7 this far.

Initially, I thought the phone was cool. But now, I have multiple issues with it. The screen activates in my pocket and does random stuff, including changing my time and date. Touchscreen seizes periodically, always making me to press power button severally before it responds. Battery is totally useless. I now regret wasting my money. I can never advice even an enemy to buy any other Gionee product.

This is a good looking mobile. But from last few months it is not functioning properly. Its screen get activated automatically; Touch starts work without any user input; sometimes calls get disconnected by itself. I am really fed-off with the mobile. There are much better mobiles available in competition and cheeper too. I guess its a wrong decision i had made :(

U can use Vroot to root your phone. Keep in mind that u won't be able to do system update even after unrooting the phone. You have to flash original rom to device in order to get system update. So be careful.

Using this phone since 1.5 years ...... Not really worth for that cost.......Gets excess of heat if u play the games as well if u run multiple applications at a time (upto 60+dc). They missed even the basic features which are available in very basic model phones of other brands. Not user friendly also. Some times mobile will get switched off automatically by drying the battery even after charging fully. (e.g. if u charge full battery in the night, by morning mobile will appear in switched of condition with 0% battery without any usage). Only camera clarity and display quality is very good. Really not at all recommendable at that cost.

I agree with You same problem happening with my friend Gionee smart phone friends Gionee smartphone is not good, spec. are good but they don't care their smartphone after sale no regular software update as a result after 5-6 monts Gionee smartphone get deteorate and start crying.I suggest you to please don't buy any Gionee smartphone better to go for Xiaomi smartphone,Moto device or Samsung & Sony will be the good choice.

I don't know about other games you said. But gangstar vegas can be worked. Just go to Amazon store. Sign up or login. Search for game. Install apk as it is free. Open it. And download obb file in apk. After that Game will start. Isn't it truely amazing. However keep graphics of game minimum otherwise gameplay will be slugish. And phone will heatup so better take care of my advise. Normally game will work smooth but menu options are talking time to load during gameplay. Hoping you will enjoy. Have great day.

For those who want to buy this phone my opinion is this is the best phone in its price range giving ultimate specs and quality. This is my first chinese brand phone before that i was a brand maniac. But gionee changed my view towards chinese manufacturers. This phone gives 3gb ram and 32 gb rom with a powerful processor which is now available in latest models of samsung and htc. Too late as compared to gionee. Screen brightness and sharpness is awesome. Touch is fluid and i dropped this phone number of times without any damage to screen or any internal parts. This shows strong built of phone. Camera is unbelievable good not like other chinese manufacturers who give 2 mp lens interpolated to 13 and claim it to be 13 mp camera. I changed my phone every year but this time even after holding this phone for a year it is not worth changing as still it has the highest specs and a beast in pefformance. Trust me just buy it. In reading reviews always keep in mind you will always find negative reviews because those who are not happy go online for solution and put their reviews here and there. Users with good experience generally dont think of putting a review as they dont visit websites for solutions or alternatives. I love gionee.

e7 is one of the phones I have seen as having some user experience expectation in phones. I got mine not quite long. I love the fone, camera, memory space but the problem am having now is it hardly see or detect my sim and the desktop and other application are just pop in up anyhow, a kind of misbehave though my screen had a very little crack. don't know whether its the curse of the misbehaviour. cos right now I can mk use of the phone. I took it to one gionee office and I was told is the crack on the screen that is the cause and I should pay 19k for screen replacement. pls. I need help. I don't have that kind of cash to fix only screen. what should I do?

Hey gionee elife e7 32gb is indeed a cool phone but the only problem I am facing is about memory !! Technically 32gb should be provided but system takes up about 9-10 GB and 22 is left for other usage out of which only 16 GB is provided for use ...why so ?? Where the rest 7 GB goes ?? Beware that there are 2 types of Elife E7 phones. One only has 3G and one (referred to as the Elife E7L) with 4G. The 4G LTE version is almost always unavailable on various webshops. So chances are high that the Elife E7 you do find is the 3G version.

if you get your hands on the ROM update? download and save it on the Flash drive (SD card) on your phone. and then go to system update and check to see if your mobile gives you an option and shows the update there...

Re-flash the phone with the stock Indian 4.2 ROM. Search Google and you will find the solution, it's pretty easy actually.

I don't know why all are complaining about this phone. I'm using this phone for the last six months and have no problem. Battery is good, earphones are excellent, camera is awesome. Yes the default amigo is laggy but this can be overcome by installing zero launcher. I have 32gb version and it gives me top notch performance. The lollipop update is also scheduled to release by may or june. I'm using the kitkat update and after updating I've reset the phone with all installed applications and games was erased. That a little bit annoying but you have to do this to get the phone stable. So guys reset the phone,update to kitkat, install zero launcher and enjoy.

Hi , I have bought this mobile just a 5 days back. Was working good except for some case were the screen goes mad. Charged it to 8 hrs after first usage. Second day charged it after the mobile got switched off. Again after complete draining the mobile got switched off .Plugged to the same charger . Initially it was displaying charging 1 % and after ten mins the mobile went dead . It is not getting charged . Not sure what could have happened. KitKat has lot of bugs right now. The touch screen is not responding properly some times, status bar expands by itself from time to time, my top of the screen (is where the status bar is) becomes unresponsive for all apps. I tried to revert to previews version unrooted but no success...

hello. After kitkat update the phone is much much more smoother. Don't forget to factory reset your phone or else the music will have a lot of disturbance while listening through earphones. Don't forget to disable the usual settings like GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Auto location update, Sync, adjust screen brightness etc and you will get a good battery backup.

Main issue is it doesnt catch 3G in auto mode. It prefers to catch 2G even if 3G signals available. I went to service station for saveral times...They agreed with the issue but they dont have solution. Prefer not to buy GEONEE product as it is chinese.

in elife 7 there is problem with screen activity. Its very irritating when i read any important document and the screen fades. I set screen inactivity to 1 min but after an hour or two it become to default 15 sec. this problem occurs after kitkat update. please give solution with lollipop update as early as possible.

My guide to correct the problems that you might face after KK update: 1. Ensure that after update you are FULL factory resetting the phone. Go to Settings -> All Settings -> Backup and Reset -> Factory Data Reset -> Check all checkboxes and proceed. 2. After you are done with reset, go to play store and update whatever can be updated there. 3. Go to music -> Songs -> Open Settings from top right corner of the screen -> DTS Effect -> Set it to 'Default'. This is a MUST and resolved the earphone issue. Music quality is much better too, after disabling this. 4. Camera is now a little noisier than before and may face some difficulties in AutoFocus. Try out various 3rd party camera apps. Each one gives different result. For me ProCapture and HD Camera Ultra worked best. 5. Install Nove Launcher from Google Play Store and set it as default launcher. This is also a MUST if you want smooth, fluid performance. Hope you people enjoy KitKat on E7. There are still some glitches that I find like phone occasionally restarting but that is a very minor issue and happens very rarely.

Hi, nope, it didn't solve the issue. By selecting default the music volume is decreased, try increasing the volume and you will notice the problem. They need to fix this by sending a patch OTA. hope they do.

I think there is serious mistake in the technology used to develop this phone . The company issued me a complete new phone when i went to the service center to submit all the accessories , as i was about to go to consumer forum after that .The company issued me new box on 20th october 14 , but when i went to the shopkeeper he took the replacement receipt and informed that this phone is out of stock now . Now today (28th october 14) i have got the new handset and again i noticed the auto start of whether app , now am gonna take action for refund if it again caused any such mistake . Also i asked the company to give me a complete new 1 year warranty but the shopkeeper refused to provide me a new receipt . Tomorrow am gonna get either the new receipt or will resubmit the phone to them . they said bring the old bill and we will place the new iemi no but that will not ensure the complete one year new warranty , since the phone is new so its my right to get complete one year new warranty , also am gonna ask them to put a stamp on the warranty card .

I have the same issue of the apps stating automatically while the call is on. The call also automatically toggles between hold and call recording options. Factory reset has not helped at all. Frustrated at having bought this one.

i would like to tell everyone that do not make a mistake to buy this set at all !!! If you are lucky enough then may be the handset you will receive be a non-defective piece but if you got a defective piece or it caused any defects after it then you will ONLY HAVE ONE OPTION TO RESOLVE YOUR PROBLEM , YOU WILL NEED TO FILE A COMPLAINT IN THE CONSUMER FORUM , accept this if you try anything you will only loose your mind . I bought the E7[Black] last 4 months back in Chennai for 27k, Good bargain over there comparing to Univercell.I don't want to compare with other top end smartphones.All I wanted you people to understand that this is the best smartphone Gionee has produced till date and am enjoying to the fullest and happy with my purchase. No issues till now and am currently playing Fifa 14 and modern combat 4 no heating issues are like that performance flawlessly. Mind blowing experience with the camera. Overall am a satisfied customer and I hope you all feel the same.

If you have a large collection of songs and play heavy graphic games like me. then its not enough. You can buy 32gb. Rear camera of 16MP does good job in day light And dont ask about front 8 MP camera.. Believe me its the best. No video call option. But I dont care because I dont do many video calls or use skype. waiting for the kitkat upgrade... Overall great product from Gionee... Complete value for money...

E7 comes preloaded with Amigo 2.0 User Interface. There are two variants in Gionee Elife E7 series (E7 & E7L) E7L is not yet launched in India. This is bcoz E7L is LTE device while E7 is 3G. The LTE frequency band is not compatible with Indian frequency bands of 4G (Indian bands are different from US) E7 is 2.2 Ghz with 2/3 GB of Ram variants with 16/32 GB of Rom. Hi guys, I did a lot of research before i bought this phone and finally made the decision. I've used it for over few months and hence here's the review. 1. Battery- Noting this first because this was the most important criteria for me. I would've comprised with everything but not this. For a moment, I'd also decided to switch to windows. With 2500mAh, it gives a great backup. I've never, in my time so far, had to reach for the charger during the day. Once I charge it and with heavy usage, it lasts for entire day (I count a day as 15-18 hrs). The best back up it gave me so far was 27hrs 43mins. Hatsoff. you are good to go. :-D 2. Camera- I am outta words here. Gionee camera is not bound to anyone's approval. It is the best. 16 mp. Couldn't have been better. I was on a 15days international tour and my digital camera stayed in my cargo bag. I guess that is enough to describe the power of Largen lens., Night mode is that good. Front 8 MP camera is great too. Rest all the other details are mentioned in concern to technical specifications which i don't feel the necessity to stress on. The general prerequisites are the I've mentioned i guess. So, go for it and have fun.

About the product Gionee Elife E7 This is a terrific product. Has all the features of a top end smart phone, at a convenient screen size and form factor. The size is just right for a grip but is not one hand operational. Excellent voice quality, speakers are very good and the JDI display is just fantastic. Spending too much time on wi-fi and games will still last u battery throughout the day. The phone also gets a little heated up with heavy games, which is not unusual. But so far, it has worked like a charm. Battery comfortably lasts for a day with moderate use of twitter, facebook and whatsapp. Along with regular phone calls, some games. The battery very well makes it through a day, inspite of my son playing games on it the morning for 30-40 minutes. Over all, a fantastic product.

Good Android Phone - in it's category I bought Gionee E7 (it is as good as Nexus 5 � but less expensive). This does have a relatively lesser clocked processor. But this seems to be having just enough to serve my need: So far so good. I got the delivery within 3 days - impressive as usual. :) I have used this phone for last 2 days & here is what I find: - Call quality is good - volume is pretty good. Other person could hear me very clearly due to noise cancellation mics. - Emails & Calendar work nice - Multitasking works fine (no lag noticed) With 3G/Wifi running all day (with Skype & WhatsApp), battery lasts a complete day. Camera wasn't my focus, neither was video/music. But they worked very well so far. Camera did very well under both low & normal lights. Videos capturing and playing is also smooth Conclusion: Good buy! This came for about 27K - whereas the market price is approx 28-29K (MRP: 32K).

I do not want to make an exhaustive and a comparative review, many others have already done a good job! Skimming the specs, which is pretty magnificent, I want to tell how good it feels to have this piece of Gionee in your hand. After all, that is what we want at the end of the day: the ABCD Awesome over all performance, this phone has never had a glitch in multi-tasking nor has it ever conked off or frozen with heavy graphic apps usage. The quad core snapdragon and the 2 gig RAM sitting pretty well inside do not disappoint at all! Battery: I can say it is one of the best ever a smartphone pretty well loaded can have. I have got a 92 hours backup on a full charge, of course when on standby. With normal calling, unrelenting use of 3G/ Wi-fi I still get a good 36-48 hours (heavy graphic gaming/ video playback apart) Camera: in natural light the 16 mp camera captures good quality pictures and colours are vibrant. Low light shooting is a little dissappointing, Lumia 520 does a tad better at that! Display: Its simply brilliant, Full HD has a good resolution and quite visible in bright sunlight. Kitkat should follow soon. Cheers to the phone, your money is well spent if you are looking at a robust, stylish and one performer of a smartphone.

What to say? This is solid and very good phone. I've tried this phone from a friend and was interested in buying it for my own. The limited 16 GB memory on board with no option to expand it is the only drawback I feel. I am not going to go into technical details as many has already talked about it. Rather I will mention some important points which may add onto others thought. 1. This is a nice size phone which goes into normal indian pockets. So that way it is comfortable. 2. The UI stumbles but other launchers help balance it. The smoothness of it is very very good. I am having an iPad but I feel that Jelly Bean 4.2 on Gionee E7 is "makkhan". 3. There is a feature which saves you battery like wi-fi spot not available, etc. 4. Smart gestures are a cool and must have feature. 5. It has NFC which can be used in future. 6. Play movies, games etc. and it has crystal clear screen clarity and the camera is capable of capturing stunning pictures. Its a VFM product in my opinion.

I had an S3 before this,lost it while on beach(salt water!) This phone's performance is butter smooth. Beats Samsung S3 on performance. Pros: 1.Good looking!,better looks than S3,but back cover is a magnet for finger prints,the rectangular shape is nice,and 5.5'' is a little big in size 2.Good audio quality,and loudspeaker isn't bad as said in gsm arena review 3.Good voice quality in calls 4.Nice battery backup,can easily survive a day,better than s3 5.2gb ram and a super processor,with even better gpu,beats S3 on that 6.Camera is the main highlight. 7.Games and apps work smoothly. But this time I planned to go for Android phones. I had lot of choices. But after reading lots of reviews, opinions from my friends, I filtered to some few phones. Moto X, Xperia Z1 and Gionee E7. Now I have this great phone. Before posting my views let me tell you this. I wanted to play heavy games and use a lots of apps that was missing from Nokia. I have migrated to a smartphone and this phone suits me a lot. I am using it for past 1 month and I never experienced any lag or slowness. I hope they upgrade to latest android versions. I am getting pretty much good battery backup. With mobile data ON - more than 1 day when compared with my friend's Xperia Z1. with wIfi ON - more that 1 and half days. The Power manager mode in this phone is really great. Easy to handle and smooth. Camera is very nice with 16 MP.

Excellent Phone , worth the money Although the one good thing i liked about this phone is its screen clarity. Believe me, its truly HD. Plays Full HD movies without a single lag. Specially made for game lovers. My previous phone was Xperia Neo V. The processor speed compared to that is awesome.The phone is really really fast. Looks are good too. Its been 1 week i've been using the phone. My 3G will be ON 24 hrs a day and battery lasts for more than a day with normal usage. One other thing is its speaker volume. It is a bit less compared to my previous phone. Get a good headset like skull candy or sennheiser coz you dont a clear sound with the bundled earphone. And when you play high graphic games it gets heated up a bit, which is natural in any phone. I dont feel these are very big drawbacks. So if you are planning to get a phone in less than 30k range. Then GO FOR IT.

Worth Every Penny!! I have been using the Gionee E7 for almost 3 months now, and I guess the experience qualifies me to write a review for all potential buyers of this phone. First off, I�d like to say that this phone is EXEMPLARY considering the price you�re getting it at. Software: The phone has Jelly Bean 4.2.2 Amigo which is the not latest version of Android. This becomes apparent as you use the phone, everything is quite intuitive and no lags. The user interface looks and feels good, and one always has the option to tinker with launchers (I�d suggest Nova Launcher Prime). I have to add some extra bits about the user interface now. Engine: The phone comes with a Quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait CPU, 2GB RAM, Adreno 320 GPU and Qualcomm�s Snapdragon chipset. Now this was the benchmark on devices released towards the end of last year and beginning of this year currently found on many flagship devices at premium costs. Based on usage, this phone functions perfectly and if you are into heavy gaming, it will not disappoint you. Design: Although it�s not exceptionally designed, this is a phone that is pleasing to the eyes and hands. Build quality is really good, much better than some premium brands, but not Apple or HTC level. The shiny design on the back is nice, but beware, its prone to scratches and cracks. The phone has Gorilla Glass 3 up front but a screen guard is advisable. Camera: The camera I must admit was an exception on this phone. After having used the cameras on iPhone 5 and HTC One X, I was left amazed by the quality of pictures. The phone takes good pictures. It takes good HDR pictures too. Battery: This could be a sore point for those of us who�re on 3G plans. On heavy usage, my phone lasts between 8-11 hours on a full charge. But if you switch to using only 2G networks and use it minimally, it can go up to 15 hours on a full charge. When you check your battery status you�ll see that the screen takes up a lot of juice. One way to combat this is to set your brightness low, or put it on Auto. The battery cannot be replaced. Overall, I�m very impressed with this phone and I�d recommend it without blinking an eyelid, because although this phone is not perfect, for that price, this is as close to perfection as it gets!!

Gionee E7 was my very good choice 1] very handy, 2] GREAT music, 3] sufficient battery life( it lasted for around 36 hours for given conditions, low brightness, simple wallpaper, stupid apps blocked access to internet, whatsapp on whole day, one hour of music daily using earphones, moderate video played, internet browsing using chrome for around 45 minutes, Games for an hour, an hour on calls) 4] awesome touch sensitivity 5] great speaker phone sound 6] BEST thing is the phone has power manager to save power 7] reliable phone if you want to use it for 3 to 4 years 8] customization icons in menu screen and good short cuts Over all experience Happy with interface, battery life better than other phones, good browsing experience

Top notch performance and beautiful design blended in a beast. Battery lasts a full day,Hanging was never a issues,camera quality best in class,processing best on class and for User Interface,no issue,it's very good,highly customisable and never lags because you always have 64% RAM remaining at multitasking also. I would start with my own experience of Mobile Phones. I am some one who invests his hard earned money in a product which lasts for long and gives no complaint during the period the product was being used. That is why I preferred mobile phones with keypads as those are good in battery life and can be maintained easily. Last year I bought a handset for an mount of Rs. 20,000/- of one of the best selling mobile phone company in India. The phone in the initial period of around a month showed no issues. But with the start of 3rd month the phone started to hang and could not run simple applications and to make it simple I would share that I was never a gaming person, still it would hang. I sold it off the very week these issues increased. Since then I have been surfing internet and was in search of a mobile phone which is worth the money I would spend. Initially my budget was of Rs.25000/ at the maximum but during my search, which was for around 5-6 months, I came across handsets which were a bit more than Rs 25000/- but were best in terms of the features they carried in them. In the end my search ended with two options 1. Nexus 5 & 2. Gionee Elife E7 I found that the cost of Elife E7 was quite competitive as for an amount of Rs. 24000 one can easily get 16 GB hard disk with 2 GB Ram and for another Rs. 2500-3000/- one could easily get 32 GB hard disk with 3 GB ram. Where as for the Nexus 5, also currently available in both 16GB and 32GB variants, the cost is Rs. 28,999 and Rs. 32,999, respectively. Remember that now a days a normal laptop with 500 GB hard disk carries 4 GB ram. Now speaking of features, my elder brother who uses nothing else but I-phone himself got very much impressed by the camera of Elife E7 which worked awesomely during night and gives very awesome pictures during the day, especially the HDR feature. My cousin who is an avid gamer had WRB Real Steel game on his tab and complained how long it takes for the game to start. But once the game was downloaded on Gionee Elife E7 it worked quite fast as if you are playing a game (fifia) on Sony Play station. It is not that Nexus does not has a good camera but mind it Elife E7 camera is at par with I-Phone 5S. The Mother board on Elife E7 handset is fitted with powerful 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor which is more than enough for day today work. Whereas Nexus 5 has a quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 CPU with Qualcomm's MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset. which though not slow but as compared to price with respect to feature is just amazing. Then there is facility of USB On The Go which helps in transferring/accessing data directly from a USB. There are 2 drawback with Gionee Elife E7 which I would not call major ones. 1. Gionee's, for Elife E7, own NAVI launcher is a bit slow, but this can be sorted out by using THIR PARTY APPs (launchers) like Next launcher (1 I am Using and it is working quite good), Comet launcher etc. 2. The Phone runs on Kit Kat 4.2.2 as of now but in the time to come the company will bring in Kit Kat 4.4 and hopefully another drawback will be out. After a period of around 5-6 months I decided and opted for Gionee Elife E7 which was not less than Nexus in any term as far as technical specifications are concerned. E7�s best I bought this phone a week ago and I am extremely happy with it. I have had used a bunch of android phones before and I must say this is the best I have ever used. I will cut to the chase and give the pros and cons of this phone Pros - Superb performance. Faster than S4, htc-one. Almost as fast as S5. Heavy games like Riptide GP2, Dead on Arrival worked like a charm with no lag. - - Very responsive screen, with amazing display. Watching an HD video feels so amazing. - Comes with a bunch of proprietary apps, some of which are quite handy. - 5.5 inch screen is perfect for browsing and watching movies. - Battery lasts for a day and a half on normal usage. But what I really loved about this phone is that it has a Power save mode which when enabled makes the battery lasts twice more without making any compromises on performance. Cons - front Camera can�t capture 1080 Video. No memory card option I will conclude by saying that this is a really amazing phone. This phone has got everything I was looking for.

As i had to go to Japan for a visit so I wanted a phone which has a really good camera and good processor.I did a lot of searching and comparison before going for this phone. Believe me guys, its close about 2 months since i have been using this phone and i have no complaints. 1.Camera: 16MP camera is superb.I have taken all my japan pics and videos through this.They are superb 2-5.5" Screen is best, as 5.5 inch is too bulky. 3.Display is damn good 4.It is multitasking without any lag.I have played Mortal Combat,Temple Run OZ,temple run,subway surfer all with ease. 5.Battery life is good.2500 mah is more than enough.Plus it has Power management feature,which has battery saving option. 6.Flip Cover is very useful. Altogether its a complete package and worth spending bucks.

Gionee Elife E-7, everything else is good, till you start installing apks, from play store, my UI stops working, wi-fi hot-spot (out of 100 attempts connects once only with laptop), F.M wont respond till i power off my mobile once in the morning, half of my installed softwares are not displayed icons show ? mark, i have to search ever time. camera starts giving blurs, i dont know why ?, then i have to reset it to factory setting. then only camera works fine this has happened twice in 2 months,getting horrible time. Sharing with anyshare or wi-fi is more horrible 1 gb takes more than 5 hrs.......

So i got this phone about 4 months back. Firstly it looks amazing. Feels too. Fits perfectly in your hand. With the 2 gb ram i have not felt a single lag or hesitation in multi tasking. The battery lasts the full day after gaming,,calling and excessive use. All in all, a very good phone for its price. You can get it for 27 k on ebay! I love it. Taking lots of pics and selfies :P Go for it, you wont be disappointed.

Its been over 2 weeks and I have not received my repaired phone from Gionne..Their customer care claims service time between 7-10 days... According to their record, the receive time was maximum by 30th July but today its 4th and no details on the courier shipment. The service center in Mumbai does not have my phone..Gionee says to check by tomorrow..(everyday same story). I found out most of the service centers in Mumbai are dropping Gionee as client because of these poor/false commitments.

Good Phone Coming to the phone, its a good buy at its price. I got the phone at 27k, which was an ideal deal for me. At this price, it was truly the best phone I could get. Gionee looks very elegant. All of my friends and colleagues gave me a thumbs up for the phone for it's looks and fast performance. The touch, navigation, grip, flip cover, performance, battery backup all matches the best in the market. The NFC adds an element of sophistication. Over all a very good buy - I am satisfied. Good one Hi guys, I've been using the device for one 2 months now. I bought this phone from ebay, i bought this phone solely based on the reviews here. thanx for the positive reviews guys.. About the phone. In a fabulous device. I've been using xperia ray for the last 2.5 years and was really in love with it. When i thought of a new phone i was stuck bwn Samsung, sony and this new device. With the cool specifications I decided to go for Gionee. Then had to decide between 5.5 and E7. But seeing lot of review i got really confused. Then finally i decided for the E7. Now am using it and am very very happy to have it. While going through reviews, I mean almost all the reviews of E7 in Google, I saw lots of Pros and Cons of this device. 1) The most important of all was about the ear piece volume which i saw lots of complains. So i was also in depression wthr it's real or not coz i really fall in love with the device on going through the web. But trust me guys I dont feel any issues. Loud speaker volume is shrill at high volume but adjusted the equalizers and it was resolved. Volume is really good, more than my old xperia ray. Also there are some equalizer in settings to adjust the quality which will make everything clear. 2) Battery life, is good. I tried with some heavy games and software, Wifi, some videos, couple of shots with camera etc. but easly went the whole day in single charging. Also keep the display in auto bright will help. Also it's better u charge the phone for 1 hrs keeping it switched of at first. 3) Heating issue � E7 heated at the top end a bit, but not over heated while i used to play games and not during calls which is common with all phones. i made enough long duration calls but didn't had any probs with heating. 4) NFC, sorry guys haven�t tested it out. I picked this phone seeing the hardware and camera features. I will post a review if i happen to test that. 5) Camera - 16MP camera is really good but dont expect a picture quality like a SLR camera. But as a cam along with phone for daily use it will do really good. Outdoor pics with good daylight are really good. Outstanding pictures even in low light. There are lot of settings in the camera, adjusting them rightly will give a professional pic. 6) Display - 1080p 5.55" IPS display with corning Glass 3 is really great and does what it's meant to do. I went to buy a White one but i had to go for black since they only had Black at that time. But it looks really good and premium. E7 doesnt weigh as it looks, of course it's a big phone comparing to my old RAY, it's a bit difficult to handle, but will get used to it. Thanx guys...

I got my Gionee E7on 27th, April 2014. As far as E7 concerns it's really an awesome phone for those who are looking for xtreme graphics, and performance. The battery life is much better than the other costly cell phones. I just turned on my battery power manager and my battery life increases significantly. It's not a joke neither and i'm not lying. This phone is running flawlessly and smooth without any problem., Besides this, this phone has all the feature that a smart phone needs to have with super duper 16 MP camera for beautiful photographs, 2 GB ram for super fast performance, OTG for file transfers on pen drive and a whole 8 MP camera for selfies ;-). So yes Gionee E7 is all the way, rules in smartphones. Nice product by Gionee. Better than note 2.

Been using this phone since last 15 days. The first striking point is this is one of the smoothest and fastest smartphones on offer across all leading brands. Its easy to hold and Very handy, good grip and easy to use. Coming to technicals, I think within this price range E7 might be the best option. - 2GB RAM, .22 Snapdragon Quadcore, 16MP camera,16 GB internal memory. What more can you ask for. Even Samsung mini and HTC one mini being offered at price close to E7 have inferior specs. The User interface is crisp, Music player is quite good, quality of sound even without headsets is loud and clear. HD IPS screen gives good display and sharpness. The experience overall is quite good. I think this is the best bet in the price range of 22-25K. Go for it.

Got this phone from a retail outlet 3 months back. Compared it with S4, Z, HTC C, etc and the price. Here is my feedback. 1. Used the Camera of this phone and it is of very high quality. High graphic games are smooth without any lag. The display is also very good. No heating issues or call drops. 2. Scratch guard for the display is of good quality. 3. The phone has Android 4.2 with Amigo and there was a promised update for kitkat and will wait for them to release official release. 4. The really good back cover case for this phone is fitting correctly and compact. 5. Uses micro-SIM. Ask mobile operator for one. Better than many costly brands and Gionee has definitely made a huge impression

After Spending more than a Couple Of weeks on Research and Investigation from User experiences and reviews..i Finally brought Elife E7 Couple of days back for Rs.28000/.After using the Mobile what comes to my attention was ofcourse the Blur Screen..but that could be solved easily once u get to know ur mobile..Now there is no more Blur and it is crisp and Clear as Crystal.many people says Bad things about the Amigo interface...however i find that too very friendly and not that much Different with other UI.I have been a Diehard fan of SAMSUNG and my recent latest Mobile was Samsung galaxy S2(One of the BEST Phone i ever encounterd,it never has a problem during 3 yrs of my usage).I want to try somthing new so i brought Gionee E7..Up now there is No regret and i am Completely Satisfied with it..in terms of Camera,Hardware..etc etc..No problem..very Fast..Super Screen.sounds also good..and its a Beautiful phone.I fully recommen this Phone.Go get it

I bought this phone a week back from an offline retailer for Rs. 27,000/-. It works like the company promises. You wont feel that you are using a phone from an untested brand. the specifications are great and as mentioned. Battery life - they say 2500 mah but it runs for more than a day easily (Highest without charge (100% to 40%) - 1 day 17 hours). Only ting against this phone is the brand. I had HTC desire V before this. I am happier with this as of now. Given 5 stars inspite of it being a new brand. Hope they build on it.

In terms of performance nexus 5 and elife e7 should be same. But if you want fast update nexus 5 is the way to go. Lg is a good manufacturer but im not so sure about gionee

I bought the Elife E7 in March 2014..It had awesome specs compared to High end phones out in the market. I used to boast about my phone all the time...It indeed felt like a superior built phone. Last month I, i.e 3 month after the normal usage...I saw that there was a lag in one of the three Capacitive Menu keys at the bottom...i.e the back key...I had to press few times and at different points to get it to work..After sometime the LED light was off for the back key... At first I took it for repair, but after finding out that it will take 15-20 days to get my phone back, (since it had to be sent to Delhi Service Centre) I refused to submit my phone..I thought, I can live with lagging back button with no led...At least all other features on phone worked great... After few days I upgraded to Version 4.2.5. After that my phone started to show "UI stopped" error after reboot, sometimes it rebooted on itself...I thought maybe the upgrade was not proper thats why, am getting these errors..I was still okay.. Until, yesterday...the phone started to act really weird..Suddenly, I had hard time unlocking my pattern lock..Also, the apps icons /buttons were getting pressed automatically and the screen was crazily moving left and right..Lot of times, it did not respond to my touch.. I even tried to format my phone, did reset to factory, erase phone storage, but the problem still remained...It is very frustrating to see it go bad like that... Now, definitely, I am taking this to Mumbai Service station in Khar on Monday...and get this fixed... Hopefully, Gionee will replace my phone with new one , as it is only 4 months and there exists 1 yr warranty.

Great FHD screen with great viewing angles. Cons: 1. Contrast ratio is not as good as some AMLOED displays 2. Sound quality not up to the mark on the bundled earphones. Other headsets sound fantasic. 3. Front camera, 8 mega pixel, does not have FHD recording option. 4. AmigoUI is not that good with apple style apps. 5. No memory card option. 6. Awesome phone Decision: Looking at alternative phones and after a lot of research and comparison, I finally decided to get an Gionee E7 for myself. Review: Now its been more than a month since I've been using Gionee E7, and its time to share my review with others, hoping it helps them make a decision. Overview: Gionee E7 has been an awesome device. here I'm reviewing the features which I more frequently use. 1) Performance: I'm an avid gamer and playing processor intensive games is seamless on this device. I played Asphalt 8 and the graphics are very good and smooth. Touch response and screen resolution are very good, with vibrant colours. 2) Multi-tasking: Switching between tasks is seamless. While playing Asphalt 8, I could instantly jump to "home" screen, send a quick message and jump back to the game, without any delay/lag. This is especially useful when for eg, I need to keep reading from an email and keep typing details in a browser. I can open mortal combat and leave it open in the background while playing Asphalt and can switch over to mortal Combat without a hitch. 3) GPS Navigation/positioning system is very impressive. With my older phone , it used to take anywhere between 2 to 10 minutes, to lock onto GPS and provide accurate positioning, and in some cases, it would fail as well. With Gionee E7, not even once have I faced this problem. Even in remote areas where GPS in my friends phones stopped working, my phone GPS would continue to guide accurately. Particularly useful for people who dont want to get lost :) 4) Camera: The camera is the best. Final pictures come out nicely both indoors and outdoors with low light too. 5) Battery: The battery is more than sufficient as it lasts more than a day and pretty long hours on heavy usage too. All in all, a good device. Buy it if you are a multi-tasking on phone, navigating in remote areas :) or even snorkelling,and have a OTB cable ready. And if you like my review, buy me a coffee :).

Quite a good phone Let me write down the main points I have noticed. The main thing I have noticed is that this phone runs smooth even if a lot of multi tasking is done. The 2GB ram helps this phone to perform. I always have around750 MB filled up therefore multi tasking and launching other applications does not pose a problem. On the other hand phones with 1GB ram installed, struggles. I have accidentally drop tested it twice from chest height, and it is still intact. For me the battery performs very good. With some usage, like games, videos, camera use, browsing, without power saving mode enabled, at the end of the day I will have around 40% charge left. Ofcourse it depends on your usage. This battery seems to be good for me. Battery is optimised to last more than a day. The camera, with 16 mega pixels, is top of the mark. I was able to shoot some very good pictures in low light condition. It has a high quality sensor in a phone, and for photos I still rely on the dedicated camera. For all purposes this camera is pretty good. The music player is good, you will have some equalizer control and the performance is pretty good. This phone is working very good for me.

You can just shake your mobile to cleanup the process and cache files and also you can disable the unwanted boot up applications. Memory : 2890mb Total Ram capacity and Out of 32gb 22.54gb avail for phone storage and nearly 4 gb available for application install. Processor: Qualcom Snapdragon 800 8974 2.2ghz - Krait 400 cpu and it is made of ARMv7-A quadcore processor. Nothing to say this processor is the beast at present market. Gaming(Updated): Adreno 330 gpu clocked at 450mhz . Everyone knows this is the fastest and high end gpu for smartphone available in marked at present which can handle any high end graphic intensive games smoothly. Installed GT Racing 2, Real racing 3, NFS most wanted, GTA Sanandreas, Virtual tennis, MC4 Zero hour all the above games are big games. All the games played at high graphics settings and played without any lags and butter smooth. All my friends amazed with the game graphics in full hd display which is near to PC graphics. It outperforms all the high end flagship mobiles. Display: This mobile have Full hd LTPS display panel. Really display colors are true and vibrant but not over saturated like samsung amoled displays. Watching videos and playing games on this mobile phone is just awesome . Everyone will look at your mobile. Touch reponse is way too good. Screen looks like pictures are popping out. If you don't care about the big screen size, the non removable battery then this phone is your best bet. The phone's design is beautiful. Its slim. Its made for shooting as Gionee claims. Has better hardware specifications at this price point, against phones of any other brands in the market. This device also scores higher benchmarks against all flagship phones. It is a very Good Smartphone with added smart functions, applications from Gionee. Sound and Video quality is best as expected from a flagship Phone. Touch is awesome. Appreciated by one of my iphone user friend as well. I would like to clarify on few people�s doubts on slowness issue that it is not a slowness issue, just UI problem. I recently purchased Gionee E7 after spending 2 months figuring out the best price for E7, I purchased it at the most competitive price in the market i.e. at 27,999/-. My friends recommended Gionee and I wanted to go with it, for 3 major reasons. (1) 3GB Ram (2) 2.2 Quad Core Processor and (3) Amazing price for a phone which otherwise would have cost upwards of 36+ with same specs if it�s Samsung, Sony or HTC. I am rough user and to tell u about the cell, it's an awesome cell. Good battery life, Good primary and rear camera, browsing experience is awesome, most of the basic applications are pre-installed. The feature i am disappointed with, is the no memory card support. Other than that, nothing to be disappointed over..Good movie watching experience with good clarity. It was a Great purchase. Very Happy with the cell performance. Hope this review with help you in shortening ur purchase options.

A real Gem from Gionee Hi Friends, I am using this phone from past 20 days and here is my experience with this phone. 1) Performance:The phone is butter smooth, there is no any lag while launching applications or switching between different applications.Also while playing games like temple run or subway surfs, you won't see any lag at all. 2)Display:The phone has HD IPS display.The display is very good and has great color saturation.But its not like Super AMOLED screen which is more colourful and bright. 3)Connectivity & Browsing: Wifi connectivity is not an issue for this phone.It performs well at significant distance also.And also a good browsing experience. 4)Camera :The camera (16 mp) quality is also great. Also there are a lot of options provided to take photo in different conditions..Its front camera is 8 megapixels which is good for selfies. 5)Battery Back up: It lasts for me for day & half after an hour of making some calls, an hour of gaming & an hour of web browsing for considerable time.The battery back up is great as compared other smartphones in same range. 6)Internal storage: is sufficient with OTG support. If you want better android experience with better camera & decent screen size then go for it & you won't regret it.

I have been using this phone for a month and prior to that had a Galaxy S2. Its a good phone, with the likes of Galaxy S5 or Xperia z2 for rear camera quality and performance. It has 32GB non-upgradeable memory, Gorilla Glass, better front camera but lesser battery(non-user replaceable 2500 mAh) life. -Screen size is the 5.5 which requires 2 handed operation but you can manage with one hand, 1080p is more than what you need(unless you carry a magnifying glass). IPS panel certainly helps in videos etc. Performance is fluid - Processor+RAM+GPU is tops, cant fight the 2.5Ghz quad monsters but excellent at this speed and price. Not like the same cost midrange crippled ones like Samsung/HTC/Sony phones with feebler processors and internals compared to their flagship stuff. -Battery life is excellent - no doubt helped by the software tweaks from gionee. -OTG support - haven't used it but makes you feel comfortable knowing that u can plug in a pen drive if you required. -Android 4.2 Jelly bean with Amigo 2 interface is a refreshing change though I am waiting for Kitkat or even Android L update. -Thicker than my S2 but build quality seems sturdier -Reception/Call quality is good, I can make phone calls while in lift where most of my friends mobile become unreachable. I was able to shoot some very good pictures in good light condition although a dedicated camera button would have been good.

Nice looking handset. The user interface is average but screen is crisp, music player is quite good with Dolby effect, and quality of sound even without headsets is loud and clear. Touch is awesome.Its fast, very fast. Contacts, apps load within a second. And no hang after running multiple apps at a time. It rates almost in top of all Benchmark tests like Antutu, Nenamark, Quadrant standard etc. 2.2 GHz quadcore with 2 GB RAM is really helpful. 1.3 GB RAM stays free all the time with no background app running. Browser is very fast. Loads any website quickly. I am using 3g service only. Also flash content/youtube videos are running well inside a web page. The screen is of Corning 3 so no need of any screen guard. Game play is very good, no lag till now. Played games like dead trigger, vector, commando, subway surf etc. main camera 16.0 mega pixel gives you stunning pics.. just feels great having clicked such nice snaps from this phone. Decent clicks in low light as well. Currently, along with the Sony Xperia Z1′s 1/2.3″ 20 MP sensor, the Omnivision OV16825 shares the top spot for the largest sensors on a Android smartphone, but the pixel size, of 1.34 microns is much bigger on the Omni-BSI2 sensor, when compared to the 1.1 micron size of the Sony sensor�s pixels. The HRD pictures had better clarity due to the lens and good low light performance. Video is of great quality, the dynamic range is amazing and sound clarity is really good. Overall great camera, one of the best in this segment If Gionee went with the Google Play Edition stock it'll be the fastest PR ticket without spending much though very unlikely, but a very plausible idea to get the fireworks going.

I am putting all the cons I came up with and hope I will clear some confusion here... So let me not go into specs but give you perfect idea what are the practical pros of this beauty.. 1) Battery Life - its far better than Xperia Z, Galaxy S3 and Nexus 4...easily lasts a day and more with the normal usage of gaming, surfing, whatsapping and calling... 2) 2GB RAM - that's one of the best thing about this android phone...anytime you will check, you will find more than 800-900 MB RAM is free...that leads to multitasking and not worrying to kill any app to launch another app...I have played lot of heavy games and it works like breeze.... 3) Processor - well you are getting almost similar hardware of Samsung S5 , HTC M8, Sony Xperia Z2 in Gionee Elife E7 ...so you should know that this phone works like charm...it has lot of power and you would love it...no hang or lags.... 4) Display � its not as good as Super Amoled display of S5 but this full HD IPS screen is natural and rich in colour depth...and it doesn't hurt your eyes even after watching it for 4-5 hours continuously........and it really enhances the picture and video quality...you would find videos or picture quality better on this phone than you laptop!!!!!!! 5) Build quality - though the phone is made of plastic, it doesn't feel cheap as of samsung phones....its sturdy and feels pretty good in hand and with the perfect fitting cover that accompanies it, you do not have put it inside any other non-sense cover to protect it...Even though its corning Glass 3 II would suggest to use the free Screen Guard that came along with the phone for extra protection... 6) Music quality is far better than samsung or nexus phones...and you get a headset which does not feel premium but still its a lot better than local brands. And seriously it looks pretty good...and thanks to Gionee for the 3 NFC tags that came in along with the phone which I have programmed my office and Home wifi connections to automatically switch on. 7)Camera is better than a lot of phones in the market, with Omnivision sensors and Largan lens the pictures come out very well even in low light. So overall its a very good phone...with the kind of hardware it�s kind of futuristic phone and you would not regret it for another 5 years or so..

Go for quality not the desin and looks!! The first two monts of this phone were quiet good.BUT from the very next few dayz problems start arising!!! The glass is so chep that it got a lot of scratch es in jst 4-5 dayz without screen guard!!The battery backup is now has fallen upto jst 1-1.5 hours of browsing 3g.&The worst is that customer care executive said that you have made it wet enough to torn warrenty!! I was very upset to know that they will even not replace the battery or speakers which are producing cracking sound at high volume...

After using it for over two weeks, I am glad I took a chance with this. The only reason people don't know much about this is that, surprisingly, Gionee E7 has not advertised it that much in India. Go read/watch reviews like I did and you would know that for the current price (Rs 28+), it is awesome. In brief: Positives: #The 5.5 inch HD phone with PPI of over 400 is crisp and clear. Well PPI's don't matter unless remarkably low. #Amazing 2500 battery. For a phone this size, can surprisingly give a little over a day with my moderate use. # Snapdragon 800. Blazing speeds and no lags in any app. #Outstanding camera, can capture pics in low light and great clarity. #Audio, sufficiently loud and clear speaker. Cons: #Speaker on max is distorted. Conclusion: Far superior than Note 2. Slightly inferior to Note 3 but costs a whole lot cheaper. Have not used S5, HTC one M8, but on paper, this is at par if not better. Stop following ads, follow reviews and make an informed choice.

elife e7 is too much better and 3 time faster than mmx gold. mmx have low quality octacore processor equal to qualcomm snapdragon 1.7 ghz dual core processor.elife e7 have 2.2 ghz snapdragon 800 series which have same in xperia z2. its is to moster faster processor. obveously u should buy elufe e7 without thinking.

Best phone available right now! Been using this fone for a month now...i must say i'm really satisfied with Gionee E7. I like it..its really fast..actually buttery smooth, no lag whatsoever..i like everything about the fone..be its screen , display, touch, processor...i downloaded some heavy games like iron man3 fifa14 asphalt 8 and it played them really well..its gaming graphics are best..and in the middle of the game if u press home it loads in nanoseconds..no wait or lag at all unlike other fones....it has Amigo android 4.2......no unnecessary apps..you can download any damn app from play store...i liked that notification toggles in Samsung fones in which u can turn WiFi Bluetooth data connection on and off...that thing was missing in my Gionee but i found a app for that also on play store...its display is good also..very bright n gives true colors...i also liked its corning gorilla glass 3 screen..used it fora month so far and i don't have a single scratch on it..though i keep it carefully all the time... A beast at an affordable price i have being using E7 for a month now.. and i must say i just love it.. it can process anything in not in a second but in millisecond screen is awesome, with a very crisp display with 401ppi with adreno 330 gpu the gaming experience is top class.. with the GPS support phone gives the location accurate by a metre and makes navigation easy. charging time is good, it can get fully charged in about 2 hours using standard travel charger, never tried wireless charging though and the headphones are pretty good and can hear it clearly even during travelling in a bus or train.. the loudspeakers are also loud enough WiFi signal locking on pretty good, it can catch on the signal at 30-40 ft from router. the tethering speed on all modes (USB,WiFi,Bluetooth) is pretty fast OTG support is available to plug in pen drives for additional data Camera is a big bonus in this monster, it can capture some amazing snaps thats it for now. will let you know more later..

I read some of these people posting bogus reviews of this phone while they don't even own it. I own it. Regardless, most of the people here don't even know what this phone is capable of and yet they are comparing it to other phones that haven't even launched yet. It's silly; it's as if they have next to zero knowledge of what they are doing. Never mind the bogus reviewers. Let's get started: 1 - Hands down it has one of the greatest displays. You'll literally be stunned when you see things on your screen. It has a Full HD fantastic display. 2 - Is it strong/durable? Glass is Gorilla Glass 3 so its scratch proof and I have dropped it few times accidently from a normal height without any scratches. 3 - The Technical Part - I decided to keep this for the end because I feel that when you invest a huge sum of your money into a product which you'll be using on a daily or let's make it hourly basis it must be durable, and reliable. Me, I've always stayed away from smartphones for a long time only for the sole reason that I wouldn't want to drop it and see my phone getting destroyed. Even so, I came close to buying a Note 2 this time after my experience with Sony Xperia. But when I saw the Gionee E7 launch in India, I made up my mind that - "Yes, this is my smartphone. This is the one!".. Anyways, everything runs on the phone is ultra smooth. No lags, no annoying freezes. Average UI but you can always change it, elegant and sober! It's a pleasure to use this phone. I'm a big time game buff, but I've always avoided games on cellphones, I have a PC and a PSP for all gaming I need. But when i tried games on this phone it blew me away. Games on this phone is a breeze and runs smoothly without any hitches. 4 - Negatives. Only one bad part I've noticed is that it sort of heats up a bit after let's say 3-4 hours of continuous usage on heavy games. Again heats up only after 3-4 hours, not instantly and that too slightly. 5 - How is the camera? Is HDR really good? The camera is pretty good. The options you get to tweak around with are plentiful. HDR is best experienced when you are outside or in high/low light situations. Normally you won't experience much of a difference but it's there. It�s one of the best camera phones out there in the market. 6 - Sound. Sound is crisp and solid. And I don't use the headphones provided by Gionee, I use a different one and the sound quality is great, no reason not to be great. So I'll conclude that currently the Gionee E7 is the best smartphone out there. The 4 cores are MORE than enough. I'll tell you if you think your S4 with 8 cores is going to make you Superman, then you are outright dumb. 8 core means nothing when it comes to smartphone. There won't be any application which will utilize even a fraction of those 8 cores. You don't need that much power, it's a waste of resources. Either way it�s a snapdragon 800 processor which is the best right now. Think about it. Bottomline=> worth the 28k, won't find a better phone, period. Go for it.

Let me come straight down to review without any ado: Performance: The Gionee E7 Mobile does the job pretty well. Long story short.. its as good as Nexus 5, no lag no glitch, nothing at all. Absolutely amazing performance. GPU: It does an amazing job, graphics rendering is just great and this can handle huge resource hogging game with no sweat! Ergonomics: Unlike many phones out there, this device is just a pleasure to hold. The back contour is absolutely amazing, gives a perfect grip while placing calls or while playing games. The concave back feels amazing to touch and it kinda gives the reference point while holding the device. Camera: The camera does an amazing job. In head on comparison with Nexus 5, it was a neck to neck battle, where specially in the low light scenario Elife E7 was able to beat Nexus with good margin. If you expect a DSLR like quality then you are just being stupid. Phones aren't that capable (exception being Lumia Pure View and Sony Z series, but then you also have to pay the huge price difference), so I'm happy with what I got. Front facing camera is an absolute bliss. The 8MP sensor gives better images than my last Xperia's primary camera, NO SHIT! Display: The display of is device is really good. Colors are sharp and vivid, much better than the IPS displays out there. Battery: Lasts more than one and half day if you don't overuse. You might want to turn off extra sensors while not in use like precision location service. Sound Quality: Being a musician and an audiophile, I was really skeptical on giving up my Sony sound beast, cause I didn't find anything like such in the market before. This device gave superb performance, with not much control over the sound through the factory sound enhancement. Precisely like Sony, with a little better output. You might want to change the in box headsets with a good quality headphones, if you do, you'll be amazed by the sound difference. Connectivity works perfect, 3G, NFC, etc Value for money? -YES! Best in the price bracket? -Beats some phones way above its bracket. Recommends? Absolutely! Cheers.

Been using the phone for the past 3 months. Just a few points based on my experience. 1) Amigo UI - Looks good, works bad. Better use Nova launcher or similar apps. 2) Processing Power - 4 out of 5. Plays most of the games and multiple apps with eaze. 3) Display - again 4 out of 5. Its not very appealing but not bad either. 4) Camera - Well, considering its actually touted to be a camera phone -- not very good. THe picture are not very true to the real colour. 5) Video Play - Compared the clarity with Samsung Grand 2 -- latter is better. In Short - Go for it, if you want a phone which can handle any app thrown at it. And ofcourse its s welcome change from the now so omnipresent Samsung and Motorolla.

After reading a lot of reviews I decided to go AGAINST this smartphone. My friend took the chance and bought it..immediately when reaching home..he started facing issues..the speaker sound was not coming and phone was not charging.. I really dont care if its Chinese and all..but if i am putting 28k then i rather take no risks.. instead bought xperia Z1 by putting a couple of thousand bucks... However, when i had seen this phone truly i was very amazed by it..the phone camera is really good..not as good as Z1 though.. Anyways..am happy with my decision..No negatives about E7..it was just that after reading phone restart, speaker and small small issues on this forum..i decided to go against it...

This is better than Gionee S5.5. First advantage is of display and resolution. E7 weighs much higher on display.In case of speed, processor of E7 is much superior due to snapdragon quad core processor. Quad core processor plays smoothly full HD videos, multitasking which results in usual hang problem in Micromax, Xolo, lava or karbonn but in Gionee E7, so far i have not come across even once any hang problem after using the same almost for 2 months. Weight is also lower around 150 gm. On battery front also it has 2500 mAh battery, so even after whole day use of whatsapp, hangout, facebook etc, battery back up is nice and over 1 day it lasts.Moreover, in power management, it has power saving mode which disables data and wifi when screen is off. This feature is really wonderful as sometimes i don't need to charge phone even after two days. It disables all functions in order to save power when battery level is very low. There are many functions in camera settings & i like that. So overall I am very happy after using this phone when i compare it with Grand Duos being used by my wife. DLNA, NFC, Slimness, Camera, Sound, Screen, etc are super features worth mentioning here.

I made this purchase of Gionee E7 and below is the feedback. First Impression Gionee E7 is a not too large slim phone which just weight 150 gm. But when I opened the box, I was surprised to see a bunch of addons like the 3 NFC Tags, the flip cover, screen guard and a cute phone stand. The build quality is good and looks quite sturdy and durable. I forgot to mention that it has Gorilla glass 3, which helps in avoiding any scratches on the screen. This is very tough glass as it is claimed to be. E7 Rocks I started giving it a try for some time. Slowly I started loving the phone due to many nifty features. True IPS 5.5 HD inch display is simply awesome. The picture quality is incomparable as it has 1920x1080 pixels resolution and 401 pixel density and it is stunning Full HD display. Software It runs on Android 4.2 JellyBean(Wish it had Kitkat out of the box) with Amigo UI and you won't feel any lag when you transition or swipe to other page or scroll. It's pretty fast. The overall experience is also fast as it has 2 GB RAM which is still not common on many phones at this price tag. You can change the launhcer to make it more faster or change the settings on the default launcher to make it more smoother. Camera It comes with a stunning 16-megapixel auto focus rear camera with unique 1/2.3″ 1.34 µm Largan M8 sensor, 5 element Sapphire Lens and there is also a stunning 8-megapixel auto focus front-facing shooter. It will be good to mention that I compared camera quality with few other friend's phones of similar category from Samsung and Sony. I found the camera has better picture quality in E7 and also it is easy to use. A nice feature provided here is the amatuer and professional mode which suits both the categories of people. The HDR+, which enhances the picture quality and helps taking stunning low light sharp photos. You can also take 360 degree view picture and have a charm app to beautify your pictures, to mention few of the aspects. Connectivity Guys, this doesn't have 4G/LTE. I thought of getting 4G phone currently, but when it is still not evolved yet in India so no point in hanging on to that. The WiFi connectivity is really good and fast. Call quality is good with 3 microphones for noise cancellation which you don't find in some major flagship phones too. Battery I really loved the battery backup in Elife E7. With the 2500 mAh battery it easily runs more than 14-17 hours, depending upon your usage. For me it is sufficient to run for two days, as standby is also over 300 hours. Sound quality Sound quality is average if not best in the lot. It is not the loudest but good. I hope it would have been a bit louder. My Verdict Gionee E7 is undoubtedly, a nice looking slim phone with stunning display. Overall surfing and user experience is butter smooth Elife and E7 comes with all the likes of a good smartphone. I have used for last two months and did not find any problem with it so far. I will recommend to go far it, trust me you will feel proud to make this decision.

Guys, I am have been using Xperia Z for last 4 months and now I'm proudly saying that it is one of the best smartphones at present. I had a Xperia S before this. I have never used Samsung or HTC. But once you start using Gionee E7, you don't need to think about others. That's the reason. Well, E7 is a great phone. Super fast, smooth, sexy and eye catching. Every time I take it in my hand, the people around me keep their eyes on it. The hardware is awesome. I have never ever seen any lag when I play games os running any app. It runs superb. I'm using 4.2 Jellybeans still and am waiting for kitkat. Battery is lasting a day. Slight heating is reality when playing heavy games, but it is not a problem since all the phones do. It is reasonable. The loudspeaker is not so clear at maximum volume but good. Display is impressive and camera is the best. You will get greater MP cameras as a cheaper price but wont get this branded lens and sensors at such a reasonable price. I love it.

The screen is as good as any on the market, bright enough to read in sunlight. -The battery is so durable, you can go a couple of days between charges under medium use. -The tethering feature allows you to make your E7 into a wi-fi hotspot for several other devices. I found this feature to be effective and it provided a fast browsing experience on a tethered iPod. -Camera is the USP of this product and envy of my friends. -Gaming is another to be mentioned feature in E7 as it carries heavy games without any lag smoothly. -Music quality is superb with headphones(not with the one provided by Gionee). -Overall this is a great phone with great specs. This is the best smartphone ever made for this year 2014 ,I don't understand those people who are complaining about Gionee E7, there is no lag, battery life is perfect I have used the battery with one charge for 15 hours where 7hours were spend by the screen, with average use I'm sure that with one full charge it will last for 2 days. Its is a Cool Phone. i am using it from March onward. Till now i dint find any backlogs or con's in this phone. The battery life is pretty decent. The frequent Internet users like me can use it for more than a day with a full charge. I away use my phone with mobile data on and use internet for 30-100 min on a day including whatsapp, fb, and other sites. used games for 2 hrs on day. only flaw i found is while playing candy crush for more than 30 min, the phone is getting little heater. it is quite common in all other smart phones including the samsung, sony and all other branded mobiles.

Hi friends, despite of my friends negative feedback about the phone and the unknown brand Gionee..i dared to purchase the E7 and I am very happy with it. Mine never lagged or had any other problem, have been using it for about 2 months..loaded all high end graphics games and it runs it all. It gets a little bit heated when u play games but his can be solved by using earphone and not the speaker. I dont know what is the relation but it works. My friends always carry charger at office but i never had to charge at office. Use it wise and it will love u back. kudous Gionee.

1. camera quality indoor & outdoor also......Outdoor is good but indoor is not that good without proper lighting.....flash is not powerful. 2. it having ois.......nope it doesn't have OIS which is a must for such mobiles with good lens and good processing power. Videos are just about average since u cant shoot full HD videos in front camera whereas other mobiles like LH, Sony , Sammy or HTC provides full HD videos in 1.2 and 2 MP front camera. No option of slow motion videos or timescape. 3. its protecting saphire glass on camera.....yes but since its produting outside of frame u may end up with scratches. 4. battery backup .....is ok not that reliable......for a full HD resolution and 5.5 inch screen u need 3500+ battery 5. display quality is good indoors but not visible in sunlight even at maximum brightness 6. amigo os is laggy or what....very laggy OS.......u can solve app and widget problem by other launchers but overall Amigo is laggy and affects the performance which could have been smoother due to snapdragon processor 7. in call volume & out call volume.........volume is average and could have been higher, but ur sound on the other side is good. 8. camera images are very grainy .........there is noise when u zoom in and is shaky since OIS isn't available. 9. can someone upload some photos in indoor & outdoor dont compress it.....check the video reviews 10. how about firmware update provided by gioneee.......no kitkat yet, Gionee says due to technical issues its not yet available .....its been promised for E6 from months together but still no sign of kitkat......other updates like theme, wallpaper etc is given OTA. 11. your experince........not so good......phone restarts......amigo interfers in lots of things......many small small things that u need to compromise on........battery heats up near camera area. Speaker is not so clear. Main let down is lack of 4G. Battery cannot be replaced as back panel cannot be removed. No Memory card slot to add memory.For the same price u can opt for LG G pro, Sammy S4 or Nexus 4.

How many devices do they think they are gonna sell?? Gionee E7 is a new brand. And in every other citi, i doubt anyone will spend 29k for this. But without any after sales support, its a short term mobile worth 29k. (Ateast for majority of the country where there is no good Gionee service).They should have spent past 6 months testing out their products and opening up service centers across India having technically qualified staff before they launched another flagship device :(

Guys compromise till 6 months then this will be outspeced, outdated and plain old for you. Then when you go to sell this you will have a queue of people who wants to buy it from you because its GIONEE!!! Best of luck getting at least 1/5 or its price now. Then say you start having restarting issues, battery replacement or drop this handset once and the screen breaks-- you better be in a big city or best of luck finding a service center in ur city. Plus add other 10,000 rs and 1 month waiting period to sent it to a big city getting serviced and coming back. We already have too many manufactures like gionee who manufacture use and throw mobiles without any upgrades. If Gionee wants a space amongst them, then you launch good quality + value for money devices like Motorola, Huawei or soon to come Xiaomi.

Both 32Gb and 16Gb have same configuration except for additional ram. both have a single speaker and 2 vents not dual speakers. Speaker volume is a problem in both variants even NDTV gadgets have the same comments about speaker sound, its not clear at high levels. (An article says that the 1/2.3-inch OV16825 Omnivision sensor in the camera is capable of operating in full-resolution 16MP video at 30fps, 4K2K (3840 x 2160) video at 60fps, and 1080p HD video at 60fps with extra pixels for EIS but unfortunately Gionee has not utilized the capabilities well which is very unfortunate.) The front camera maxes out at 720p videos only. The last part of OIS is also true, it doesn't have optical image stabilization which would have done wonders for the 16 MP camera. Conclusion both 32 and 16 Gb variants DO NOT DIFFER in functionality.

I have purchased Gionee from ebay. Since the first day it has had Auto touch issue where the device activates touches on the screen on its own. I thought it is the screen guard or dust on the screen and carried on with it for a month or so but then realized that the problem increased. It used to restart without any reason and then I did some research online and found that this is a known problem.I gave my phone at the service center on 6th may 2014 and they took over 5 days to fix the problem.They reset the phone and all contacts and apps were formatted. After resetting phone was working fine for few days now again the problem has started. The touch on the screen is not working in the first half part of the screen so I cannot bring down the notification bar of touch the upper part of the screen. The next morning I wanted to try it again so I tried to turn on the phone and the phone wouldn�t turn on. The light was blinking when I tried to charge the phone which was strange. Then I restarted the phone and it started. I don't know whether it is hardware problem or software problem.

Bhai, i tested dual speaker on Gionee E7 and it is one speaker and 2 vents like in comments....Mine speaker volume is not at all clear.........also front camera doe not show option of full HD video.......had 720p maximum option..........camera has to be done on steady hand else pictures will be shaky...... mine is 16Gb phone , does 32Gb have better features?

I was getting a white display (completely blank) occasionally. And now I am getting this twice or thrice daily. All i need to do is restart the phone.The GPS is at par with the rest of the devices in its class but not as good as the one in Lumia (Nokia Drive). The HD video quality is average when you compare it with xperia S. The screen is not bright and can't be readable outdoors. The audio quality is good but could have been better. Max volume on speaker mode is badly distorted. Sometimes Touchscreen behaviour while typing is erratic.Camera's flash not as good as other phones.When pressing the power button to wake the phone from sleep mode, it doesn't respond instantly. It takes 2-3 attempts to wake the phone. Also after the phone wakes, it lags in touch response for a few seconds.It plays the one song correctly and stops playing after a song with error "Unknown Track" and starts playing well for a song after the reboot. Music quality on headphone is good.

It is not correct at all. I m also using this ph for almost 5 months. In it..firstly for batry bakup in 3g 5 hours but its very low.backup only 5 hours.after than batry is 10%....no mansion. camera i must make my hand steady for like 5 seconds to capture a clear photo.phone restarts when antivirus is scan.Video calling i.e. call using your 3G mobile network then no it doesnt.But ya video call thro skype and other software is supported.battery drain from 35% to direct 15%.within one hour of 3g.OTA update not fix restarting problem.I am faceing a heating problem. the upper side get heat after 4-5 minutes after doing something . specially it happens when open 5 apps.display in sunlite is not working.cannot see name to dial.

The phone couldve been a good mid ranger, but there are issues.The lag I would like to mention is its slow keyboard, you cannot actually type fast in that keyboard, sometimes the words come one by one much later after you have clicked on them. 2. The phone restarts atleast 2 times a day, hope kitkat updates solves the issue. 3. I have experienced that my battery goes down upto 20-30% in the night. When I wake up always I find that if it was 70% last night then it hardly remains 40-45% in the morning. 4. I have noticed that sometimes when I go to the settings the settings get selected automatically even before I can keep my finger on the screen.I tried to hold the phone lightly assuming that the firm grip is affecting the screen and menu items are getting selected automatically. 5. Screen goes blank occasionally. 6. No support for 3g video call. 7. Amigo is bad, spelling mistakes in apps. lot of useless bloatware. 8. The touch screen zooms in in a sudden while im brouwing or texting and I dont know why!! 9. Sound output is not clear on speaker on maximum volume. 10. 3G keeps getting disconnected very often. Pls fix these issues with kitkat update.

S de reviews r true.u can only take full HD vdo at 30 fps.No slow motion 60 or 120 fps vdos in front or rear camera.Front camera can take 720 HD vdo ONLY.No 4K vdos.No Optical Image Stabilization and Image stabilizing software is very pathetic.Vdo quality is average.......nothing worth mentioning.16mp camera for vdos is totally wasted.

Need comments on few things from Gionee E7 owners.I read some of the reviews which says gionee E7 front camera only supports 720p videos. Basic handset with 3 MP camera supports 720p vidoes now a days but why cant 8 mp camera support full HD videos. Got the Gionee E7 a few months back. Admitted that it is loaded with a host of features at the given reasonable prices. It was ok for first few months but it developed a thin yellow line vertically on the screen and the call volume has been dropping everyday. I have been restarting to fix this problem and everytime I get a call I have to restart else I can't hear the person speaking. Took it to the authorised service centre & they were not very customer friendly. Gave me a feeling that it was my mistake to go there. Without even getting it checked they said it will take 7 days . I was really shocked & disappointed that the phone is under warranty & have been personally used with screen guard and back cover from day one. Also I am a very particular person when it comes to taking care of my electronics. All my excitement & recommending the company is starting to get diminished.

No..there is no memory card slot available and you cant extend it......it has inbuilt memory of 16 or 32 GB. It is average phone for such a high price. Screen is sometimes unresponsive.......lot of customization which is not like usual Android phone. Speaker clarity is not upto mark. Wifi keeps disconnecting very often but works perfectly in my brother's phone. 2Gb Ram and quad core processor phone and still its restarting at times.Delay in GPS location when travelling, locks on co-ordinates but delay in responses.Cannot see in sunlight phone needs more brightness controls. Customer care is not giving any response for this.DO NOT recommend a BUY.This is pathetic after sales service. Highly dissatisfied by the services and they are inefficient.

It immidiately got replaced... Phone is not getting hanged... But many times there are minor issues such as.. Power button is pressed bt phone screen is not getting on.. At d conclusion i would say. Its a good phone in this budget.. But not the best that gionee can make. Thank you.

Better take it to service center. Only they can fix the problem now. That's the problem with these unknown Chinese brands(unlike chinese reputed brands). They are not tested properly and launch phones to experiment in developing countries since the developed countries will sue the company if such problems occur.Save your money and invest in reputed brands since they will launch their phones after rigorous testing.

You can try to download Capacitive button app or likewise app from PLAY and try to increase the brightness. I could switch off my buttons light with this app.

Backup ur cell contents and reset to the factory setting. other option is root ur mobile and add line to system to get navigation bar on screen like in Sony mobiles.But this will void ur warranty. If ur mobile is in warranty just get it done from there.

Bro what are u talkin abt.......apps will solve some issues and not all.u can install equaliser app for better sound effect but will it compensate for DTS effect?Find me an app for shooting slow motion videos of 720P at a smooth 60 fps.Nexus 5 is priced at the same range and that has HDR speed of one shot per two seconds.HDR pic processing is done behind the scenes while u can still take another pic.It has a zero shutter lag meaning there is no need to wait while taking pictures.The Nexus 5 uses a longer 1/6 second exposure and a curiously exact ISO 1624 - lower sensitivity thereby lengthening the exposure (and therefore reduce ISO) because of optical image stabilisation.Gionee's professional mode doesn't have that. Try to search for an app for time lapse video recording.People don't blindly go by just one person's feedback,they research the web and will find out whats right and whats not.

No option of 3G calling.Use other apps from google play....or skype. I am using this phone for last 2 months,its really great.ultimate display, great speed but battery is average and works for 16 hrs on avg use, and 3 hr on movie playback.Shud provide >3500 mAh. Phone gets heated very soon and starts restarting. Gionee remove amigo and give routine unmodified jellybean and provide update of kit kat at earliest.

guys this phone is awesome. songs are really good. people who listen music. download high quality sound songs. ex a song can be 2mb,5mb,10mb. download 10mb songs then see the difference. everything there is app which can solve your needs. dont give wrong feedbacks. i am doing study on al mobile this is on of the best in 30K.

Please buy Moto X or Nexus 5. I am regretting on buying E7. DTS is not working for videos or speaker then what is point of DTS availability. Full volume in speaker is cranky. Sometimes phone keeps restarting without any issues. It automatically selects options even thought I am not touching the options. Phone heats when recording full HD videos. Wifi gets cut when screen locks automatically.GPS is slow to update location and have missed turns due to slow updation. Image stabilizing software is very bad and Optical Image Stabilization hardware is very much compulsory for made for shooting E7. Battery is not sufficient for whole day. Smart answer is not working. Amigo UI is very very bad, I am using Nova launcher. There is no dual speaker at base of phone, only one speaker with 2 vents. Close one speaker vent while playing music and then try with other and you will hear the difference. Too much noise in pictures when flash is used. I cannot see anything under sunlight even at full brightness. No OTA for kitkat till now. My friend has E6 which was bought before me and that also does not have kitkat. They are just giving wallpaper and theme update but not kitkat. I should have gone for nexus 5 which also has 4G whereas this 32gb version does not have 4G.

If you are going to pay 28k then better go for devices like Samsung S4 for ex(I am not a Samsung Fan though,but they do pack in some punch).S4 is selling at 28k and has a host of better features like Air View,Dual shots,Smart Scroll,Air gestures with hardware additions to infrared (IR) blaster & GLONASS.Gionee's made for shooting lacks a few things for ex-burst shots are low resolution shots compared to normal shots whereas S4 takes same high resolution shots both normally and in burst mode.Though Gionee takes care of pictures to a certain extent the video aspect is a huge huge letdown with such a awesome lens and processor.The software just couldn�t deliver.E7's rear camera CANNOT record videos in 60fps in 720p or 120fps in 720p or even 60fps in 1080p or 2k or 4k videos.The front camera also CANNOT record 1080p videos at 30fps,it can only record 720p videos at 30fps.Other mobiles with the same processor can do the above.

Went to a shop in Chennai today for live demo. The phone is really worth more than the money spent. Camera intelligence and quality is amazing. The phone just swifts pass the screen and very responsive indeed. Understood that service is not a problem as metros have good network of shops for GIONEE. I am planing to buy soon. I am a fan of Samsung. I opted to sellout my galaxy core and bought E7. At first i had problems searching tools but got over it within a day or two. The phone is better than Galaxy S4 to be honest value for money. Amigo tool is awesome. On the 22 Gionee rollout 9 updates of it UI interface, which makes the phone awesome. There is no comparison between E7 camera with S5, simply E7 is better. The phone never hangs. You see this in samsung. Important, i realized the phone has special display setting that sense the environmental lighting condition and automatically adjust the screen brightness and extend battery life. You won't find this technology in S5 or iphone. Well, GioneeXender technology is unique in the world. I purchased Gionee Elife E7 (32gb). I am sharing my experiences below. 1) Sometime phone get restarts automatically. Even 2-3 times continuously. 2) The right side of the hearphone was not working just after 13 days of purchase. Got the replacement for the same but the new hear-phone is not up to the mark. The sound quality is poor as compared to other hear-phones in the market. 3) The service center people just work as a middlemen. They don't have any knowledge about phone software.I have asked software query one month before but not received any reply till date. 4) The phone doesn't have video calling facility. 5) Even though phone have high end specifications Gionee still not released Kitkat update neither they are giving any confirmed release date.

Hi Guys I got Gionee elife e7 few days ago. I am very happy to share this info because the phone is outstanding. The best thing I like in elife e7 is Camera, I have no words to say about but Outstanding. Having such camera in mid range Price is great. Speaking about camera, The controls are good and I took time to research on camera Controls and functions. There is no doubt that it takes great images in outdoors,indoors and in even lowlight without flash, detailes are sharp and clear. I don't say that this is the best camera out there like Nokia 1020 with 41 meagapixel but for basic shooting defenately this would be a good choice. This is my idea about gionee elife e7 and I am happy with this device.

Of course it's much better than Canvas Knight. I've got 32GB version of this phone in India, and compared to my friend's Knight, battery life is double, display is better, touch is more responsive, gpu is much better and there is no comparison between camera. E7 is miles better.

I would like to share with ur questions about e7.. 1, I didn't find any options for setting a default number for a person having multiple contact numbers.. 2, u can feel the incoming calls even if your fone in purse by settings the ringtone volume to higher level because it's speaker output is high.. 3, Display sharpness and brightness of this E7 is highly clear and impressive... But sunlight visibility is not good on auto brightness u can clear it by adjusting back ground display by manual to higher level.. 4, 2500 mah battery can perform for two days of usage for ur needs.. 5, there is an option on the dial pad for recording calls manually.. OTA means over the air. There are two ways to get updates first one u can get it with the help of a computer from official site or priorly installed software update app.. Second one is u can update directly on ur phone through the app called software update or u can an option on settings also. .. with a 3g network or wifi... Check for updates manually or automatically...

There are three options for it... Go to settings > all settings >apps>there is a symbol of settings press it... It will clear all default apps.. Then press home key now there will be options choose one as always... Second one is there may be a setting option for most of launchers.. Set as default.. Use it.. I am using go launcher most of the third party apps havethis ooption.. Third one is there is an app available at play store called home switcher simply install the smart andssmall app and use it...

@Dinesh Babu 450- 480 PPI.. As per my knowledge S5 is 431 PPI (it's highest till Now or Note 3..again it depends on screen size). But cost around 50,000 rs. But even 368 PPI Nokia Lumia 1520 are awesome (problem is UI & Apps). Otherwise its one of the best phone with Camera + Clear Display (6 inch - Cost down to 36 k online discount). E7 PPI is defiantly better as per cost compare to S5 (new cheaset+ New UI features etc.).

Hi all there Plz buy this mob at ur own risk. Because i m not satisfied with e7. i m using e3 from last 7 months.it is really very gud mobile.because of very satisfied performance of e3 i buy e7 for ₹29000/-. But sound system of e7 was really very very bad. Its sound system force me to OFF my call waiting.many apps which are performing gud in e3 does not work properly in e7.Just after 4th day of purchase i go to service center but it was closed at 12 noon without any reason. Srevice center guy wasted my next 3 days replies that he has not recieve main software to reinstall.after 4 days of harrasment at last he re install its software.BUT no change in its sound system. Now i hav to suffer this mobile for next 1 year. Actually gionee's mobiles are good but its service centers are very very cheap. So beware because if u get a mobile with fault there is nobody who will listen ur complaint.

Day 2 of use, 32Gb edition. Superb camera quality, both front & rear are outstanding. Though the image stabilization seem's a bit off, but if you have a stable hand, it's wont bother you. Screen is very clear. Battery backup is good. After 100% charge,second day, without charging, battery still at 31%. I tried pushing the limit by playing NFS, Injustice, Mass effect etc etc, flawless performance. No lags. Sound quality is loud & clear, phone speakers & very sweet sounding. Light weight phone, but since end of the day its plastic, i don't know how well it will take a drop. Right now it feels worth every single penny. Money well spent.

Really I wonder about ur comments.. Because UI is the worst part of this phone.. Because I am using more than 100 apps in my E7... There is a limit for displaying all the installed apps in the home page.. So I replaced it with go launcher.. Then battery.. Of course it's not enough for a whole day use... About camera.... This is the best camera which I have experienced in mobile... My previous phones were Xperia Arc, HTC one X, Note 1, Xperia Z, Note 2.. As an advanced user of photography u can shoot stunning images with another app called Ucam for tablet version available at play store.. U can manually control brightness, contrast, color, sharpness, and much more than stock camera.. U cam reach about 10mb on a snap... I really enjoying it's shooter.. Then u can reject the call with a Swype upside... There is also a detailed lists of all calls, missed calls.. Ur last complaint also can solve with a setting provided in settings called developer options, there is also a notification window comes when in USB connected... Conclusion... We don't get all our expectations on a smart phone.. But the basic needs are there.. We should configure with our own experience and talents.. For example I am using another equalizer and head set for maximum audio performance.. Using mx and Bs player for best video results. Using jet audio plus for music.. I won't use any hardware buttons for on and off.. Using sensor based apps for it. Use app for automotive answer (when hand set goes to ear it will automatically on) and much more options are available for Android devices.. Use it and enjoy.. Thank you..

Overall the camera department is good, worth and satisfying... Every snaps shoots in day light feels us like a professional photographer but in low light it's not performing as well as.. I am also very interested in mobile photographs my previous phones were note 1, Xperia z, and Note 2, of course E7 is sharper crisper and more pixels on every day light snaps... I am using Ucam camera app (Ucam for tablet version) for best results... It's amazing there are manual controls for brightness, contrast, color and sharpness.. For best low light u can choose several functions and a lot of user friendly settings for rich snaps... The snap taken with built-in camera is a size of 3mb but with Ucam it goes to 9mb.... So u can think the difference between both apps... There are options for video recording also in both apps.. U can shoot crystal clear full hd clips with this E7...

Companies like Gionee dont have developers for updation neither they are willing to update it.If you buy it with a version you have to live with it forever.It doesn't even get custom roms.Thats why People should buy samsung phones instead of crap.They will get Official support for 2 years and custom roms like CyanogenMod for 4 years

Sold my S3 and bought E7. its amazing. Music player and video player is awkward. WiFi connectivity, 2G connectivity is utter waste. 3G is ok. That too it allows only 250KB/s. the same sim card shows speed around 560 KB/s. with common wifi even galaxy s2 duos receives good signal.E7 is slow. Gionee to gionee bluetooth is totally waste. Totally i say its just hardware giant with good looking display and best camera. But all other connectivity h/w are bad. Better dont opt e7 if u want good sound quality and best connectivity(2G/wifi) if u r gonna use smartphone for the first time, go for e7 else avoid it

I bought this mobile last month. E7 32gb phone is amazing, Super awesome camera in day light as well as night. great display LTPS really rocks.... Fast and Furious Processor. great battery backup on 2500mah But i encountered some really issue ie Sound is very low infact headfone was the worst. Call quality is little disturbing Video playback sucks it lags large video file also in MX player. i complained on service centre after a day they gave me "Dead on arrive certificate" and i took another E7 32gb. but in another new phone still got issues like Sound quality,video play back,call quality but this time screen was little bit poor so i returned this phone and got another DOA certificate. and finally switched to awesome Sony Xperia z1.

Bought E7-32GB 2 days back. was using S3 before. Display is 5.5" inch. But 404ppi is bad. It shold have been atleast 450-480. Camera is just awesome. both front and back. Speed is OK. but i dont think that its very fast because of that amigo UI. UI is very poor. Decent battery backup upto 1 day. the icons and its extra features are not satisfied. Default Music player and video player are very bad. Go for MX player and Poweramp(2 weeks trial version) headphone is also bad. Though i use skullcandy(2000/-) its average only. I am completely unsatisfied with sound quality. Android 4.2 is frustrating. When u download apps from playstore, it takes time to download. That's the issue with 4.2. not with phone. 2G/3G signal capturing is weak. Even the browsing speed and download speed is less. Though E7 has pros, it has cons also. Price could have been some 20K. 26K is too much. Thats why people feel that they could go for branded rather than Gionee. Gionee would have succeeded if E7 was launced for 21K and in future E8 should be launched for 30K. First they should get published, have lots of customers and then increase the price. This was the strategy of Fastrack. That's why they succeeded.

Hi guys, I have bought and started using Gionee E7 since yesterday. Prior to this I have used Galaxy s3, s4 & Note 3 over the last one year. Here are my comparative findings as a normal user between Note 3 & E7 - 1. Brand image - Samsung is far off limits to gionee brand. 2. Processor - Samsung is yet to launch a snapdragon run phone in India. Their phones slow down just after an official upgrade. Gionee has introduced a really cutting edge tech here. 3. RAM- Same RAM on both devices (note3 & e7). So is the experience. 4. Battery - Note 3 has bigger battery but believe me, E7 is showing a better performance on Battery. Rigorous phone use also makes it last full day. Battery is a revelation. 5. UI - Samsung is pretty much okay. Only problem is that it slows down after the official upgrade. E7 is okay, could have better (double tap is nice feature). Widget absence is not good. UI is almost boring. Needs upgrade. I look forward to installing Cyanogenmod or something similar. 6. Camera - Note 3 camera was really good. E7 camera is also very good in normal light. Low light, it could be better. 7. Build/ look and feel - No comparisons between the Note 3 and E7. Despite being heavier, Note 3 is very elegant. E7 appears to be a brick. Finally I think E7 32Gb for 25K is an excellent deal. Go for it and you would not be disappointed.

The most important part of any smartphone is it's processor. And this phone has a Snapdragon 800 processor - the best one available in the market today. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or any other Samsung Galaxy phones of the same kind have the same processor all over the world (Except India). In India Samsung gives Exymos processor instead of Snapdragon 800 to save money resulting in the recent complaints of Samsung smartphones (Galaxy versions specially) getting heated up on minimal use after a couple of months of usage after buying. I had gionee elife e7 32gb. If money not matters go for lg g2. If i would have in your position i would went for gionee only. If you compare lg g2 with e7 it cannot beat this beast anyway. Think smart and go for it. Gionee build quality is same as iphone. Wont believe . Right? It is the fact.

Using this beautiful phone since a week. My experience with the phone: Pros: 1. Display and touch responsiveness is awesome. 2. The icons are very good looking but the UI sometimes work slow and not as fluid as my Nexus 4. 3. Camera quality is awesome. Both stills and videos taken with this phone looks gorgeous but I'm not a pro photographer. 4. Every applications and games I have tried works smooth. 5. Sound quality is decent and loud, though not as awesome as the HTC phones which has beats audio. 6. The looks of this phone is awesome but the back cover feels glossy which isn't my taste as it easily gets smudges and fingerprints. Cons: 1. Sound quality could have been better. 2. The UI is a bit laggy. 3. Phone gets hot while doing heavy stuff like gaming for 30 minutes. 4. Battery drains quickly. Conclusion: Awesome phone at a great price. As a casual user, I'm satisfied with this phone as don't do gaming all the time. If you're okay with the cons, this could prove to be a good phone.

i m using for last 2days....display exillent...camera very good but camera software needs some improvement....battery life is very poor........during play with asphalt7 phone gettinh hot tremendously and battery drains very faster....after playing only 30 mins with full resolution the phone draned its battery almost 60percent......ui is very bad....hardware ,ram ,looks ,sound clarity ,very good ...software portion is far behind from leading manufacturer......

Hi all there Plz buy this mob at ur own risk. Because i m not satisfied with e7. i m using e3 from last 7 months.it is really very gud mobile.because of very satisfied performance of e3 i buy e7 for ₹29000/-. But sound system of e7 was really very very bad. Its sound system force me to OFF my call waiting.many apps which are performing gud in e3 does not work properly in e7.Just after 4th day of purchase i go to service center but it was closed at 12 noon without any reason. Srevice center guy wasted my next 3 days replies that he has not recieve main software to reinstall.after 4 days of harrasment at last he re install its software.BUT no change in its sound system. Now i hav to suffer this mobile for next 1 year. Actually gionee's mobiles are good but its service centers are very very cheap. So beware because if u get a mobile with fault there is nobody who will listen ur complaint.
