I purchased Gionee G4 in Aug 2014. Initially it looked perfect for me because of his good battery life, superb Camera etc. But after about 3 months, I faced a problem with the phone Contacts. The phone contact gets hung up often while trying to open. I took the phone to the shop from where i purchased the phone and informed about the issue. They just reset the factory settings and gave the phone back. Fortunately, that issue got resolved at that point but started recurring again after few months. Then i took the phone to authorised Gionee service centre and appraised about the issue. They said they will upgrade the software and the issue would be solved. After upgrading the software, the issue did not appear for about a week, after which it reappeared again. Again the phone was taken to service centre and they said mother board needs to be replaced. Since it was on guarantee period, got it replaced without any cost. But even that did not resolve the issue, as recurred after a few days. When I took the phone to the service centre again they did not show much interest in resolving the issue, apparently because the phone was on guarantee period and they cannot charge me. Am still facing the same issue of "contacts getting hung up" while searching a contact name or selecting a contact. Also when I get a call from a saved contact, only their number is displayed and name appears after a long time. Is there anyone who could help me resolve this issue.

hii every one i am using this phone from 2 month..bought this at 16500rs There is no problem with this phone.but some of disadvantages are. Does not support otg. this is only one disadvantage..other wise phone is superb there is no comparison between battery backup with other phones.also gives more backup thane note 3 and camera is superg. Also gaming is fantastic there is no lagging big games like asphaalt 8 (1.30)gb,gta(1.2) gb etc Also sexy look quite slim and bigger screen so go for it.....

Pros: Large Screen Good touch screen and nice Display Good looks and good body quality light weight in comparision with body and screen size Good Gestures Features and works great Run smooth COns: No OTG Support Non removable Battery Non expendable Memory ( no external Card) Noticed while playing game (nuts!) the pixel and graphics broked several times and uper middle screen goes black ( happens in every few intervals during gaming). I have tried this 5-10 times and even restared the phone but still the same issue in this game ( Didn't try any other game)

Battery drains very fast.( I am having moderate calls and fully connected to 3g. by evg 5 it shows 40-45% battery, when it reaches 30% it drains very fast.) 2. Call drop is one major issue that i am facing. for Sim2. 3.Touch response is below average. even phones at 10k is having better response. 4.Low light performance of camera is poor. Can compete with any ph in display quality. Camera as good as iPhone 5, trust me. Battery last for full day with CONTINOUS usage. Zero lag with multiple apps running. Am not a big gamer but performed very well in temple run 2, subway surfers. All in all a very good purchase for the price. Go for it.

in spite of being dual sim both 3 G sims are not supported. it means if you have two 3G sims you have to buy other phone for use as you have to repeatedly change the sim rather than automatic which should be ideally provided by the company.

Hi, don't listen to people who haven't used this phone. I am using this phone for two months, if you speak with your right ear, volume is low, design issue, bad for Gionee. Other than that found no issues. Brilliant performance, I don't play games much, so I charge once in three days, decent battery back up. Reception is good, call clarity is great, volume is just decent enough, but with earphone, amazing out put. Good camera in day light, at night, not that great. Screen is great, great viewing angle. HD videos look really cool. And for this price, you are not gonna get a phone better looking than this, from my personal experience, many people commented about its look. It doesn't look cheap, doesn't perform cheap, doesn't feel cheap. If you like big screen, go for it...

Hi, I am using this phone for about a month now. I was using Note 2 and while updating OS it crashed and Samsung is asking to pay 15K for the repair. So, I decided to buy a phone with in 20K price range. I am surprised by its performance. It's much better than Note 2. Big screen, not full HD, but this will do. 1GB RAM is more than enough to play games. Phone doesn't lag. Some say Gionee has heating issue, I'm not sure about other models, but this phone doesn't heat up, while playing hi-end games, yes, a little, but not much. The screen guard and flip cover given by Gionee is really high quality stuff. The phone does't feel cheap, doesn't look cheap, doesn't operate cheap. Sound and music quality is good, it's got noise deduction facility, calls are very clear. Battery life is pretty decent, 3200 mAh will help you make it a day without carrying a charger. Camera is good, but indoor and at night, it's disappointing. If light is good, then it can take really really really good pictures. Can record HD video, and the quality is good too. Finally the service, my friend is using Elife E6 and he broke his screen, given it to service center and got the phone back with in 5 days. Service is not bad at all. Now a days with competition and new features coming up every day I don't think it's worth to spend more than 30K for a phone now. No matter which phone you are using, after a year, it will be outdated. For this price, this is a good buy. Really happy...

Hi Shekhar, I agree with Ravikumar. I have been using this for a month and it has been performed better than my expectations. I guess heating might be an issue, but never noticed it due to the flipcover provided by Gionee which itself is of a good quality. Simply never felt the heat. Friend I am using Gionee E7 having 16 mp.. But I am using another camera app called Ucam for tablet version from play store... With the built in 16 mp power u can shoot stunning images with it's manual controls on brightness, contrast, color, sharpness and much more... Just try it.. The built in camera produce only 3mb size of a picture but Ucam snaps goes around 9mb...guess the details..

Great phone. It is better than I expected. Apart from the advertised features viz. video play/pause based on gestures and air browsing, to my surprise I found two good camera features. You can click without touching the phone. You can choose to shoot based on your smile or V gesture made by fingers. Camera quality is superb! Great snaps indoors even in low light with the 5MP secondary camera. I am speechless about the 13MP primary camera. Sound quality and hands free kit are also good. Have used it for 7 days and still exploring. Have charged it only thrice in 7 days. Gave me a backup of nearly two days with 3G continuously switched on during the day time.

I bought Gpad G4 expecting that the device is from one of the biggest manufacturer in China , hence should be good . I have following observations: 1. When I search for name , the system goes in loop & takes a long time to get the name & number. This is very unexpected . I was told by support executive that this will be improved in update but gave no timeline 2. I tried to connect with Bluetooth on my Honda City. While it does connect successfully but when I call someone, initially I can talk on speaker phone in the car but after few seconds , the call gets transferred to handset. Hence I am unable to use the bluetooth facility provided in Car. Initially, I thought this is a error in software with Honda City but upon testing with samsung mobile, I had no issue. There is no response on my mails to sort out issues. Nobody picks up on support line. I get a standard reply that support executives are busy with another call & it gets disconnected. My request for replacement also had no response. The only positive is that it has large battery & lasts for full day. I do not have to charge again unlike any mobile in the market.

I just got this mobile from SNAPDEAL.There was a minor mistake: the scratch guard was not okay. Snapdeal refused to replace it. They were making a number of phone calls which might have costed more than the scratch guard. The phone is really superb.Very nice looking. Smooth functioning. So far no serious problem.
