Google Pixel 3a XL - User Reviews

  • Mate 10 Pro is still a great phone, just picked one up for the wife and she's really happy with it (replaced a LG G6). It's as good as the Pixel 3a XL I have in most ways.

  • Just returned a OnePlus 7 Pro and picked up a Pixel 3a XL. Glad to be back on a Pixel, though with the plastic body it feels more like a Nexus. Just hope it doesn't crack round the buttons and ports like my old Nexus 5 did.

  • If you're asking because it still has a headphone jack then why are you asking about type c headsets? Just use a headset with 3.5mm plug. Weird question.

  • Bruh you don't compare Pixel with Sony. Moreover, why are you even considering Sony in terms of camera quality? They lost the battle way too long ago. The battle of camera now is between Samsung-Apple-Huawei-Pixel.

  • Big win to Pixel 3a XL. It has amazing camera and it has same exact quality as Pixel 3 ones. Sony Xperia ones just had mediocre image processing, even using manual mode.

  • It has no IP rating, so I'd be careful with it.

  • Comparing the cameras on the 3a XL and the Xperia XZ3 which smartphone has the better setup in terms of better low light photos, faster autofocus, better image stabilisation, better audio recording in video, a much wider front & back cameras and overall better camera speed? Would you say the phone is safe and won't get damaged with light rain or accidental spills of water/tea/soda?

  • yes

  • Hey guys! I would like to ask you if its a good decision to buy a pixel 3a xl, i have a huawei mate 10 pro.

  • Does it work with Pixel USB-C earbuds 'cause in the box there aren't any earbuds and I prefer the wired one instead of the wireless ones (I ask this 'cause it has a *headphone jack*)

  • My 3 day old pixel 3a xl became a brick :(

  • To answer a previous question the call quality is very good

  • I own the 3a currently. Nice for the price

  • I decided to replace my P20 Pro by 3a XL The most important thing for me is battery life and... I'm disappointed Pixel hasn't notification led so I left ambient display on all the time I disconnected phone from charger at midnight and in the morning I discovered ambient display consumed 10% during the night. I started day with 90% battery. After 21 hrs away from charger, with 5.5 hrs on screen, I have 28% Not bad, whatever P20 Pro at midnight had 45-50% (OK with ambient display off, disconnected from charger in morning ) Why I wrote about it Following reviews there is impression it's phone for 2 days in single charge, definitely not with Ambient display, leaving it on, reduce this time. It is solid day with 25% battery life in the evening I'll do tomorrow additional test with Ambient display Off, phone disconnected from charger in the morning

  • I'm getting the my first ever pixel kust sold mt s10 plus for this phone can't wait to see the camera results which i have no doubt is better then the s10 plus doesn't matter if it's plastic so what im putting a case right away soo lets see if I'll be disappointed

  • This thing seems to have a HDR display, I can watch HDR videos on youtube with the youtube app

  • Bruh

  • Yes please, my old phone only have 32gb. 64gb is double the fun, double the excitement and double the nudes.

  • yeah boooooooooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

  • Why Google? Why only 64gb?

  • bought this phone about 2 weeks ago here in Germany. Had my update to Android 10. Everything is working smoothly. I like the Oled screen, the dark mode. The calendar app looks so much better in dark mode. I have to praise the battery life. With moderate use, it lasts me 2 to 3 days. The camera is the highlight of this phone. As I owned the regular 3xl before but hated that huge notch, I can confirm that the camera is just as good, also with night modus. I only miss the wide angle for the selfies, but as the regular selfies are very good, I can live with that. The plastic does not disturb me. With a transparent case, nobody can tell if this is a Pixel 2XL or 3aXL as they both have 6". Time will tell if this phone is durable, but for now I can really recommend it.

  • Zenfone 6 all the way

  • ...because it has no ip rating?

  • Full of bugs??? Please go post lies somewhere else.

  • No IP rating on the Pixel 3a series.

  • i was caught in torrencial rain in the usa travelling to alberta. my google pixel 3a xl was in my back pocket and got soaked. i haven't been able to use it since. what is wrong with that??????

  • There was an update a few days after I posted, and I haven't had that issue again (cross my fingers!). Phone has been awesome since.. đồng hồ hublot geneve

  • My biggest Issue with this phone: the Alarm. At least with the standard alarm tones that come with this phone. I had the same issue with Samsung back in the day (the Galaxy S4), where the Loudness + Vibration intensity just isn't enough to wake me up consistently. I had always had luck with HTC phones (Evo 4G LTE, M9, and U11), but this Pixel 3a XL leaves me sleeping through at least one alarm a morning. And it's not that it keeps going, or auto-snoozes. All you get is a notification for a missed alarm. It does have the ability to wake you up with spotify, or add your own sounds, so I may have better luck trying those options.

  • There was an update a few days after I posted, and I haven't had that issue again (cross my fingers!). Phone has been awesome since..

  • Native support for dark mode will be included in Android Q bring released for the public and pixel devices in Q3 2019

  • Does it have an option for dark mode?

  • Does the google pixel 3a still work without a sim card ?

  • one of the best phones I've had in the last 10 years

  • good phone

  • People have reported turning on the power saver mode prevents the sleep bug from happening. Maybe a temporary fix?

  • Have had this phone for 5 days, and pretty darn happy with it. Pros: Battery Life Camera is legit as hell. It's no slower than my HTC U11 was, so I feel like it's pretty snappy. The display is pretty great, and always on feature is cool (my first time having it). I'm a fan of bezels, and I like the size of these! Upper and lower are the same size, and really, if the screen was any bigger, it'd be too big. The fast charger on this thing it amazing, not that I've had to use it outside of the first day. The call screening feature is pretty damn cool. Meh: Stereo speakers are loud, but not great quality at high levels. Doesn't connect to my older, cheap Bluetooth headphones (the right ear bud quit, and I wouldn't be surprised if they lost the ability to connect to any new device tbh). Doesn't work with my old HTC USB-C Earphones (might be an HTC issue tho). Android Pie is taking a bit to get used to (but Q is only 1 or 2 months away, and I won't be waiting around to get it). Con: Already ran into the 'Sleep Bug' and needed to hard restart it. Hoping it's an uncommon occurrence until it gets fixed (get on it Google!!). Trying my best to keep it out of my pocket so the always on feature blocks it from sleeping. It's not making me regret my decision to buy, but I guess I'll have to get back with you all on that... If you are in the USA, I still think it's too difficult to find a better phone for under $500. And carrier deals make it even more affordable. Camera, battery, no bloatware, and instant android updates were too much for me to pass up last week, and a week in I'm still on board!

  • Yes, you can, on Android Q Beta 4.

  • Thank you.. what about call quality?

  • Can we use dual volte sims?

  • Damn so expensive and not for me lol

  • Watch they video review by GSMarena, and also check these videos

  • full of bugs? lies

  • I want to buy a new mobile. Can you guys please suggest me between asus zenfone 6 or pixel 3a xl( in terms of battery life and speaker loudness)..?

  • XR is much more expensive device, not really comparable, the 3a is a cheap plastic device full of bugs with a good camera, that's all.

  • Does it have 2 imei? Is it possible to use nano sim and esim simultaneously? Thank you for the response

  • It's like they are not selling the expensive one well, if you hope a product to succeed first you need to take away all apple brilliant ideas (a notch, bad battery life, lack of headphone jack, and the ridiculous price) then you mat have a shot, BUT it seems these phones have a lot of bugs for now and it's cheaply made so this may not turn out as successful it could have been.

  • 64gb storage without microsd? doesn't seem enough

  • The performance is just fine. I've used the 3a XL for a few weeks and in my normal use, heavy in browsing, streaming music, messaging, multiple social media apps, Google Maps, I don't notice any lag except the odd lag in a couple of games and processing photos. If you play games heavy then a step up in processor would be recommended. Otherwise it's fine, Google seem to have optimised this phone brilliantly. Especially in the battery life. But then I've not used a flagship phone for a while for reference, but doubt a few milliseconds response time difference in stuff would make much difference to me.

  • So many nonsense complaints about the phone features and no one can write about the actual performance of the phone? HOW IS PERFORMANCE OF THIS PHONE? To me this is the most important question because I want to buy alternative to iPhone XR.

  • I find the price pretty expensive . I mean , lots of functionality is missing . Like no memory slot , only 4GB ram , no widescreen cam , not a premium soc , no ip rating , no wireless charging ... and so on . All this money just for software updates and 1 good main cam .

  • I always thought that USB-C is either 3.0 or 3.1. So basically 3a has the old 2.0 standard.

  • support otg?

  • Gsmarena tests are very spot on. This phone is a battery champ.

  • Has a headphone jack? Are you kidding me? How come the cheap phone has more features than the expensive one? So what is the point of paying 960$ for the Pixel 3 XL now? This is BS!

  • The 3a XL is just the right size, the right weight and contains the right battery size. The average person doesn't need 3 cameras, just a GOOD camera and this fits the bill. The rear fingerprint sensor is fast and well placed, who needs under screen sensors, they are a gimmick. This phone is fast, smooth and has software simplicity for everyone.

  • I have the OG pixel xl and was thinking about getting the pixel 3a any thoughts on the matter?

  • Disclaimer: I like all these phones, but my opinions may help people decide which one they would like best. I own both the Pixel 2 Xl and Pixel 3a XL. I also owned the Pixel XL. I disagree with some of your points. -Processor SD 670 (high end midrange based on newer cores than the SD 835) The 670 has some advantages, the 835 has more CPU power. It's actually a pretty close fight in benchmarks and side by side in my use. I would not base my decision on these two phones based on the SoC. Toss up here. - Camera. The 3a XL has the Pixel 3 camera hardware and software. It's better than the 2 XL. Now the 2 XL is still very good, and in some cases may process photos marginally faster, but not by much. 3a XL slight advantage. 835 vs 670 here is mostly irrelevant - Speakers. Both good, 2 XL has front facing dual, 3a Xl has one front and one bottom firing. the 2 XL wins this, but don't sleep on the 3a XL here, its actually pretty good. Having one speaker bottom firing isn't as bad as it sounds (pun intended) -Screen Quality. Here i disagree with you. The 2 XL screen is "poop", and I'm being kind when I say that. If you don't believe me, google it. Screen burn in, blue shift, graininess, black smear and black crush. It was made by LG and those panels don't hold a candle to what samsung makes. The 3a XL is way better. It's lower res, but at over 400 ppi, the truth is it really doesn't matter. It's still full HD and it just looks better whether at full brightness or at lower brightness levels. This is THE reason I am switching to the 3a XL as my daily driver phone. Winner here is 3a XL hands down. -Build quality. Sure the 2 XL has more expensive raw materials. The 3a XL does look pretty slick, definitely not budget looking. If this matters to you, edge 2 XL. -Battery life. Both great, can't go wrong with either. 3a XL should be better, but the 2 XL has awesome battery life. -Heaphone jack. 3a XL,. Lots of people would pay $ to snap their fingers and put one on a 2 XL. i know I would. -Updates. The 3a XL wins. It'll get 1.5 years more updates, including security updates. Also has a fancy shmancy Titan M security chip . If you're a journalist in a country with an authoritarian regime in charge. I'd lean towards the 3a. TLDR So who wins. I'd say let price decide. Here's the breakdown: Pixel 3a XL: Better screen, more updates, slightly better camera, headphone jack Pixel 2 XL: Better build quality, slightly better speakers, slightly better processor

  • Depends for your need. If you need some really long update and arguably better camera implementation, headphone jack guy, and typical non-performance wise guy, go for 3a XL. If you need some more superior processor, better build quality, better camera, with great aesthetic, but doesn't really care about software updates, go for 2 XL and its cheaper that the 3a XL--if you buying second handed.

  • Okay thanks for your suggestions because here in my country Pixel 2 XL and 3a XL are almost the same price.

  • hmmzzz 400Euro for xiaomi mi 9 and its a good deal :)

  • Performance side does not affect. Autonomy side, 3A XL forever. In addition, one more year will be supported for updates

  • Tell me should I go to Pixel 3a XL or the 2 XL which is Sd835 over the Sd670? Which one is better?

  • According to reviews of the Pixel 3a/XL, the quality is almost the same as the Pixel 3/XL, the rendering, the post processing... hard to notice the differences, but of course the launch time of the camera is a tad slower and the images processing as well that's because the Pixel 3a SoC, but nothing dramatic.

  • Yeah great camera on your Nokia, not

  • here's why Pixel 2 XL is a better buy: - similar price (it is even cheaper in some countries now, ) - better processor (SOC 835) - better camera (correct me if I'm wrong, but better processor = better software image rendering = better image quality, right?) - better speaker - arguably a better screen - better build quality - better color (IMO, the Panda is by far the best color option Pixel was offering) - software support till 2021 I SEE NO REASON TO BUY THE 3a/3a XL. that headphone jack though, did any of you really choose jack over those reasons I lists above?

  • If Google decide to launch a 128GB version I would consider to getting it.

  • Samsung makes the display

  • Nokia figured this out a few years ago. That's why I bought a 7 plus for $375

  • I think both use LG oled.

  • thats why they have the 3 and 3xl (and pixel 4 later this year) for performance. this one is for people that want a really good camera and dont care for performance.

  • and be stuck on android 8.0?

  • When it comes to Android, there's no good alternative to Google. And I'm ready to pay more for mid-range processor to get Google top-tier support, updates and camera. Because I don't want to struggle with lags, bugs and other surprises from "better" Xiaomi.

  • Yes more realistic

  • Finally someone out of the comments who understands the purpose of this phone. Not every phone out there is competing for flagship specs. Others give that experience using the software. And this is a much affordable method to get straight up Google experience and their camera software.

  • I think some people miss the point of this phone. It's selling point is not specs & benchmarks for the price, which it gladly sacrifices but still runs fine for most people. It's selling point is the camera and OS support for the price, which outstrips most phones on the market. And it has that headphone jack, a big omission in most phones too. A winner for me.

  • Galaxy s9 way better at same price

  • The prices doesn't make sense, better i buy LG G5 or maybe LG G6..

  • The design of the phone as well as the aspect ratio is outdated. This phone is a 2017 phone.

  • Snapdragon 670 is mid processor Google selling it price 45000 , Xiaomi or other china brand sells 12000 .

  • See who made it, this is a name with weight...GOOGLE. Think of the camera in the mid range....bezel matters the beauty only.. just my opinion :)

  • Which company made this serie of google phones? If htc made i will go for it,because htc quality is great and the best but other.....i hope htc made it

  • A bit late but a good step by google. I'm glad they didn't take the iPhone XR path. One thing that bugs me though is that nowadays no manufacturer bundles a decent headphone with their phones except for HTC...

  • i would think before you talk

  • A phone in 2019 with top and bottom bezels and no edge to edge display....Seriously!!!

  • No tests yet... but the battery life must be great in combination with Google software and this CPU...

  • I can get Galaxy s9 with same price . So much disappointed

  • how is the battery life?

  • you know what, i actually like the "dated" design. i kinda miss bezels and it's nice seeing them again here and there i really don't know why so many people are triggered by this phone tho if you don't like it, you have tons of other options also, Dragontrail sounds WAAAAAY cooler than Gorilla Glass

  • You get one of the best of not the best camera on a phone on the market so you want it to cost the same as a $300 chinese adware/spyware junk phone?? This phone is for who values camera performance, that is it and only that, if you don't actually then go get your pocophone, huawei or whatever and get off here.

  • google succeed by getting popular by giving a good service that everyone can afford it, google fail in smartphone industry is because it doing the same with other brand that just care of profit, not care of the user, and google is still not good in smartphone technology, how they can sell outdated design smartphone with overprice compare to other brand that have better technology in smartphone. For AI photo have in Pixel, many other brand is doing AI camera, it just wait for a year to take over google Pixel AI camera. iPhone have better video than google pixel now. Huawei can take better low light photo then google pixel now. it is a shame to google in smartphone which is not google style that always giving that best to the user and this is the strategy bring google to succeed.

  • This is not a phone. This is a time machine that takes you back to 2017. Google, please start thinking about hardware and aesthetics, not only software.

  • Overpriced device, this phone worth 300$ maximum.

  • Very well said! I hope people can see the value of this phone not only by the price but by the experience you get when buying a Google's phone

  • This makes me disappointed. Why? It is because in the first place, it is a brick. Small screen to body ratio. The second thing is no card slot, and only 64 GB of internal storage, and price is not that low. Google could do better, this is my opinion.

  • Holy Smokes, that's a lot much hate about this phone. I guarantee you, 90% of those hate comment didn't really own Pixel phone or hands-on this 3a XL. Yes, this phone is way down worse than Oneplus 6T and Mi 8. It lacks of build quality, protection glass, no IP Rating, and ugly bezel that seems too big with that dimension of phone. Personally, I'm using Pixel 2XL and I'm happy using this phone by in terms of experience. The Main selling of Google Pixel lineup is experience and computational processes, like Camera Machine Learning, Vanilla Operating System, and Long-Term Update. Pixel lineup, also, not intended for hardcore gamer, through using powerful processor, noted that. Comparing OP6 and RN7 just like comparing banana-to-apple which has no correlation and quite absurd. OP6 is intended for people who likes the speed, simple UX, and bang for buck aspect--OP6 roughly at 500 EUR, that brings OP6 snappier. OP6, however, bumps at camer processing--OP6 got 98 in DxOmark and Pixel 2XL way better than OP 6. Redmi Note 7, yes, it's budget king, in terms of cash. Has really good hardware specification to price, low-pricing--see Xiaomi philosophy, and intended for people who wants tech in low price. RN7 bumps at build quality design, UX friendliness--some Xiaomi app using ads, camera debuff, and relatively long waiting updates. So... ? What's point of this ? Pixel 3a XL selling software comfortness, with premium camera with DSLR quality, overall experience, but with relatively "bit" overpriced--Google didn't know how cheap 2XL is today. Oneplus 6 selling almost vanilla OS, premium spec, but bumps at relatively low performing camera, and slow updates. Redmi Note 7 is soo cheap, even you can stack up 10 RN7 with just a single Iphone XS Max, with powerful chipset, big of memory, RAM, but bumps in term experience in software, camera, audio, display. RN7 is also my favorite Smartphone of 2019, besides P30 Pro. I'm also former Xiaomi user for about 3 years with Redmi Note 3. You can disagree with me, yes, opinion. But, think first and experience the phone you want to give an opinion, and don't be a stupid tech "master" that judges phone that bad, but you not experienced that. Thanks

  • C'mon guys give Google a little credit here. I know this phone doesn't have the latest and greatest for the asking price. But if you compare it with the latest Nexus devices it's definitely not bad. The Nexus 5x and Nexus 6p launched in September of 2015, Nexus 5x was tagged at U$S379 for the 16GB model and U$S429 for the 32 GB variant (a lot more expensive in Europe at €479 and €529 respectively). And Nexus 6p cost was U$S 499 for 32GB model, U$S 549 for 64GB and U$S649 for the 128 GB version (€649, €699 and €799! in Europe) Maybe you could say that Nexus phones had the best hardware at the time. But seriously, how much better this phones are compared to them, tech has advanced tremendously and so I think these phones are a good replacement for the Nexus phones.

  • Worst part is not the chin, but empty chin... Why such retarded companies dont put navigation buttons on the chin...

  • brother,you are wiser than google! 39999 for pixel 3a !!!

  • Why do you need so much chin in the phone when the competitors have got rid of it already.

  • Worst design ever!

  • Google not again >.

  • Huawei P30 Lite @ US$ 200 would be a better phone for taking pictrue than this Pixel 3A XL.

  • agree... This won't sell in India or any other South East asian country. Redmi Note 7 / Redmi Note 7 Pro will kick this phone ass very badly.

  • At this price point maybe you can wait for the Xiaomi Mi A3 powered by android one OS.

  • Asahi Dragontail is Japanese glass company that made durable glass.

  • It's plastic and expensive

  • Nobody: Google: "You want the best point-and-shoot camera on your phone but can't afford our overpriced Pixel 3? Well here it is, the stripped down version of our Pixel 3, made with less premium materials and slower processor. Yes it's still slightly overpriced compared to Chinese phones, but you'll get the exact same camera as our latest flagship Pixels!" In all honesty the Pixel phones are all about the camera, you're getting 2018 flagship level camera at just ~$399; everything else doesn't really matter to most people (not talking about you tech enthusiasts) because the Pixels are known for their CAMERA, not bleeding edge bezel-less display and hardware design. For those saying you should get a Pixel 2 instead - you people are missing the point, yes the Pixel 2 and 2 XL indeed have better hardware but these 2 phones came out in 2017 and you're supposedly going to receive longer updates and support with the 3a. Yes you can get a discounted 2018 flagship Chinese phones (OnePlus or Xiaomi) with better hardware at somehow similar price but you're not going to get a flagship-tier camera on those phones. Install Gcam? Sure, but only if you don't mind spending extra time fiddling with your phone because the app isn't working correctly. Gcam on non-pixel phones is just a buggy, laggy mess. There's no IP rating albeit understandable due to the price point, the SD 670 will do fine for average people unless you do heavy games, lots of editing and switch back and forth between them. I do however wish that Google would have waited for SD 730 instead of rushing to launch the product just because the Pixel 3 isn't selling well. Also Google should have made the 3a as the compact midrange version of the Pixel 3 just like what OnePlus did with their OnePlus X with much less smaller screen and overall size (looking at ~5.2" display). $400 midranger with arguably the best and most consistent camera, OLEDs, advanced x-axis haptics, active edge, stereo speakers and a freakin headphone jack, I mean what more could you ask for? cheaper price? Well, this is made by Google phone, not Xiaomi, OnePlus, Huawei or Nokia.

  • Now that is cancelled phone. Simply because there are so much better phone with that price in terms of design, specs, and build quality than Pixel 3a series

  • Go Home Google, Your Are Drunk....

  • I can't believe the ugly dimensions of this phone, so wide and tall for only having a 6 inch display. So unattractive. Too expensive as well for only SD 670. I'll take the latest Xiaomi Redmi Note phone any day over this thing.

  • snap 670 and 450us dollars, Have peoples gone mad in 2019???Lmao Google.... Rather a oneplus device will be enough for me....Peace Google

  • Waste mobile. Not worth for money. We don't be in trap of Google.

  • No notch, no buy. LOL!

  • 64 gb with no external storage is ridiculous in 2019. All phones with no external storage should be at least 128. Not to mention that that 4gb ram is insufficient. Ugly design Checked. small internal Storage and ram Checked. At this price, you might as well get last years flagship or xiaomi brand smartphone

  • Welcome to 2018 Google! Mark my words @Google... Both the phones are gonna be a massive flop in India! How dumb do you think people are? Are you kidding with the specs for such a price tag with a fat-ass chin and bezel?

  • Hahaha so this is what the hype about. * 2016-esque phone design * Small battery & storage for its price * Snappy 670 With that price I'd get much better phone. Wake up Google this is not 2016

  • Why Google only put 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage??? Its almost 2019. It should be 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM for the price of $400.

  • Asahi Dragontrail glass?? That's what rebranded China phones sold in the Philippines use. Hmm. Will wait for the durability test videos.

  • I think Google make a mistake here... Pixel (or Nexus) should be on the "best" / "newest" tech. Rather than Snapdragon 670 with last year core (A75/A55), google should equip this with Snapdragon 675 with this year core (A76/A55). Other than that, this phone will only sell for American who loves petite phone with single SIM.

  • aesthetically it looks alot more pleasing to the eyes. stats wise is a slight downgrade but nothing serious, plus the price will also make more affordable. this could be big for google so longs as the keep it in $500 range. keep it updated with firmware updates and etc... i see it doing very well, ill role the dice and buy one myself and see if its any simmialar to its older sibling.

  • Only comes with a 64gb rom... 64 gb is like a 16gb phone 3 years ago....

  • regretted buying a mi mix 3, I shall buy this pixel instead. The xiaomi phone is suck all the way, heavy, weak battery, apps like facebook, messenger appear abnormal, black screen, flickering if changing display to 720. Gestures make the phone more lag than using navigation buttons. I have a pixel 1 XL in android 10 beta with gestures and a bunch of apps but it's still far smoother than the mi mix 3 with only a few basic apps.

  • google needs to catch up with other manufacturers with a full screen display or risk losing market share

  • I honestly think that the PocoF1 is better than the Pixel 3a XL. Why waste your time on a phone, Google, if it can't even compete with the ones that are in its price range, nor the ones that are above it, nor the ones that are below it. This phone is the perfect example of what you shouldn't buy.

  • bezel is better than the notch

  • Exactly my guy.

  • Big fail no micro sd expansion 64 GB in 2019 for nearly 500 euro stick it

  • FAn BOy Spotted!!!! Anyway, this phone is crap at this price. if it's 200 then can consider it. no ultrawide no Optical zoom no f1.6. smaller battery big bezels ugly design so 430 is very expensive for this we can't just pay for a brand name. Plus lifetime of this phone is almost the same as B grade company phones kindly come out of the fanboy bubble.

  • i think the oneplus 6 is better tbh, but that's just because of the headphone jack

  • Holy freaking mother hmmm im surprised... Not the good way :-/

  • If camera is the most important to the person choosing, a OnePlus would definitely be the wrong choice.

  • Better get the Xiaomi mi 9 than that sh*t

  • Others are racing toward all screen display, this one doesn't care

  • Better buy a oneplus 6t than this crap.

  • Yeah with no wide angle and optical zoom

  • This mobile single main camera could be better than other cheap tripple/two camera. If you like quantity go for it and there are many many cheape and grade B products for you. Please stop these crazy and foolish opinion because may affect on other choice and ...... Your awful and foolish opinion, demand and shopping awful products make them strong and cause to weakness GRADE A brands like "htc, motorola, blackberry ......". Please don't say that(or like that) again and go for grade b products like : huawei, xiaomi, oppo, meizu and ... and left great brands products for expert( be quiet and don't cheat others) Guys for sure google pixels are far beeter than chinesse products.

  • U simply can't compare google's single camera with other brands dual or triple camera set up.

  • Why not a 16:9 ratio display while retaining a big fat bezel and chin on it. D:

  • one camera to rule them all , one camera that can outperform all these nonsense triple and quad camera setups sign me in , it goes to show you that it doesn't matter how much cameras and sensors you're putting in if your software is garbage there is nothing you can do

  • At expected price of this device other manufacturer's provide triple camera at the back. It's shame to see single rear camera, there should be atleast dual camera setup.

  • People that want a budget phone that takes really good pictures.

  • What on earth Google is thinking? I thought, this is a Global company, now I see, it's a greedy money sucking US giant.

  • exactly

  • i would rather have bezel that that giant notch

  • Who on earth would buy a massive bezeled yet relatively expensive phone like this? There are much better options out there with a more reasonable price.

  • Holy mother of bezels...

  • They discontinued Pixel 2 XL because that one has a similar yet better (slimmer bezels) design despite being 1 year and 6 mos older and overall a better option at a discounted price. This midrange has a headphone jack but that's just it.
