As a first look I thought the S.E Z300 was a nice and good cell phone. But it is the worse one than I have had. In it began to fail the keyboard and then appeared a blue line at the middle of the screen. SANY ERICSSON IS : GARBAGE!!!

It is amazing that people complain about missing camera etc. on phones designed to be simple... I have had many phones with cameras, bluetooth, 3G etc. But this simple phone is my favorite. Making calls and sending SMS is very easy. The buttons are the best on the market and the phone is well build and reliable. I cross european borders a lot and it works very well in all conditions. Finally: I think it looks great.

good fone nice shape and size good sound and as for the earphone u can raise the voice when u r in a call by the +/- sound keys the only problem i have is the signal sometimes got low signal any 1 else got that problem?

To set t9 on the phone - Go into "Settings" then "Language" then click on "T9 Input" and make sure it says on.

Ringtone Volume... Change under the My Stuff folder on each indiviaul ringtone.. you set for that ringtone. Phonebook name thing... The number only appears if the name is short enough for both to be displayed. Question.. How do i activate T9 on my phone. specs say it has it and i found the location but says not avalible.

This cell phone is CRAP. the signal is always low, even downtown Washington DC or at University of Maryland. In buildings there is NO SIGNAL at all. Don't waste money and time on this piece of crap. It is the worst phone I have ever used. NEVER EVER. Sony Ericsson have always been crap.

I love this phone it's perfect for me. Has everything I need. Would be nice to have a camera but Im not beat for a camera phone...Who wants to pay over $70 for a camera when they cost like $10.00? Go figure..Unless you're into photography a camera phone is just a pretensious way of saying look what I got! It's time to grow up people!

i just recently got this fone. i cant complain, it does the basic functions. i definitely prefer the layout of the keys to my old phone (My C4-2 Sagem- it had water damage) but it does lack a camera. but i think its a very cute phone and i would reccomend it, i'm just missing the camera and speakerfone of my old fone, but i think this fone is a lot better looking and the layout is good so overall i'd say it is a pretty good fone as it does the basic functions.

I found Pix2fone wallpaper sender.. With this tool i can download any picture i want to my z300i!!!! Jippiii, i'm soooo happy. :) And amazing thing, it's totally free. Least they said so... I thought there is no way to send picture in this mobile from my pc 'cause there is no bluetooth, irda or pc connection possibility.

My neighbor gave me this phone... (yeah very nice neighbor!).. but I don't know do I even wanna put my sim card in it.. It pisses me off that this phone doesn't have even java or infrared!! Aarrrgh!! To change from analog to digital clock on the front display just use the side button. I have an Z200, and that's how it works on my phone. So I'm guessing it should work on this one too.

I bought this phone 3 months ago. It's cute and simple. Just appropriate for simple people who don't need much of any fancy styles & features in a mobile as long as I could send,recieve messages & make call. But the unit also malfunctions-hangs up when u make long text massages. The memory is very low and ringtone is very low, could not hear it when inside my bag. Anyway, I like sony products & I patronize all their electronic gadgets.

I bought this phone a month ago.It works fine.But the problem is battery back up.Hardly it comes for 3 and 1/2 hrs when u use continuously.Key pad is so handy so that u can send SMS so easily.But it a good phone just to make calls and send SMS only.And the ringtone volume is low when u compare with nokia handsets.Sony Guys why dont you increase the volume of this piece in upgrade version.And even the other side caller cant able to hear the voice of us when we r talking. So, i request sony ericson to solve these problems in the next version atleast.......First try this phone from your side and sell in the market.

It is a cute phone for women. Value for money with good basic required features. During an incoming call if only the name (or no.) is displayed it is enough. The scroll of name+no. is slow & hence uncomfortable.

Bought this phone only to find out it is a so so phone so long as you use it during the day or in well lit areas. Keypad for the numbers dimly lit & the navigation, yes, no, clear & option keys have no light at all for night time use. Also when you receive a sms message the notification tone keeps going till you read the message very annoying.

the phone works just fine..as few people here already said..it has basic things and its definitely not a phone for all those spoiled brats..it just depends on what u need from a phone..and imo...people! the phone is suposed to be used for talking..if u wanna play..buy playstation, if u wanna listen to the music, mp3 player is always a better idea then a cell phone..i had a phone with a lot of features..didn't really use most of them..thats why i went for Z300
