  • These phones aren't meant to be used in dual sim mode it's just marketing trick. Second SIM doesn't support 4g, has fewer bands and it works only if both sim are idling. So think as it is phone with a single SIM and dedicated SD card.

  • Open the camera, swipe from left to right and find the 3D panorama option. Then hold the shutter and move your phone around. Release the shutter when you finish. Then click the cube icon on top right hand corner. That's it.

  • No you cant use google in China. I am in China now. All google services are blocked. I'm using my Samsung Galaxy s6 I bought in Australia. If you install a VPN into your phone BEFORE coming to China then google services may work in China.

  • Bro it is not Indo-Pak model, Honor has a little different specs for Asia out of china specs. Like we have seen in models of past. Either fingerprint sensor or NFC or Dual SIM is missing or present in the Indian version, but it is different for Europe. But our version will have 4G LTE for sure when they launch it here.

  • On paper the phone seems good, but beware of the screen. It breaks/cracks easily as reviewed on the Chinese forums on Huawei website (http://club.huawei.com/forum-2290-1.html). There are some touch issues as well. Better look at other options like Honor 8.

  • USB On-The-Go, often abbreviated to USB OTG or just OTG -- find more on Wikipedia... you can transfer data from your internal memory to an external usb memory stick, it easy and does not cost much...

  • Another choice that you have and available right now is Le Max2 $399 and there is coupon $30 so only $369. Look at carefully here: Specification : The only drawback is there is no sd card slot.

  • I think it will come with Android OS V6 Marshmallow and "Huawei latest emui" on top, but up to now it was only sold in Mainland China. Usually this version (code KNT-AL 10, KNT-TL 10, and KNT - AL 20) without google play in mainland china. If Huawei decided making international version, will be another code KNT-....... and have google play. Also looking carefully with LTE 4 G band. Make sure it has the same band with your carrier, so you can enjoy 4G LTE. I prefer waiting a little bit more. Right now the price too high too.

  • When they launched Honor V8 in China, they did not mention schedule for international launching. Look like they still busy to compete with other Chinese cell phone in China. Market over there is huge and so many good products. European countries usually much lucky than USA, because V Mall Europe sell more newest product than Huawei online store or Honor online store. Huawei Mate 8 until now did not come to USA, even though already came to Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia. Both online store for USA.

Surprise with the price! In Mainland China only $352 and $384 for 32 GB and $430 for 64 GB. How Huawei/Honor selling their latest product specially in USA (Mate 8 not coming in the USA eventhough already 5 months, P9 no news at all, Honor V8 no news) created "black market" in the internet. Some people bought it and regret because got Chinese version which it is not 100% compatible with US 4G LTE band. Huawei brand just only good product with good price .   • Huawei's phones can not shoot in 4k,because their processors are powerhouses(if we are talking cores and frequency), but come with a trashy gpu that can not keep up with the performance of the processor and therefore they are slowing each other which in turn makes it impossible for the phone to shoot in 4k,because that requires some sync between the performance of the cpu and the gpu.

  • Huawei and Honor are 2 different brands in China, but they are both called Huawei in other regions. In China, Huawei phones are much more expensive than Honor phones, for example P9(4G+64G) is 3688RMB while V8(4G+64G) is only 2799RMB, and they have the same Kirin 955 CPU. I don't know about other regions. Probably Honor is expensive in your countries, but it seems like they use Huawei as a global brand while Honor is mainly for Mainland China market.

Huawei need to compete with Xiaomi, Meizu, ZTE, Oppo, Vivo and Apple in China, so they make so many phone. Why....? Every people has different budget,taste, preference and need.   • Does not apply this year. Last year the honor 7 had better chip than p8 making p8 a hard choice. But this time the p9 has high end chip, built quality and Leica camera (force touch and stereo speakers) that honor series cannot challange.

  • Why do Huawei insist on doing this, they did it last year with the Honor 7 and P8. They announce and release a very good yet slightly overpriced for the specs flagship and then shoot it down out of the sky with an equally good or slightly better 'Honor Flagship' that while supposedly midrange equals or beats their flagship at a fraction of the price. It's like they're trying to trip themselves up. You'd be an idiot to buy the P9 over this. Trust me, as an owner of a Honor 7 and P9. :l

  • I'm from Indonesia too, so I know how ur feeling, since I felt the same.. the simplest way to buy honor just buy it from indonesian lazada or tokopedia, it's a bit rare to find, but once u found it, prepare to pay hefty price. Another way, is buying from official malaysian honor website.. but I don't know if they support shipment to Indonesia.. or, if you have friends there, ask their help there to get you one.

  • the price will surely increase !! but i hate huawei for increasing the screen size.maybe 5.5inch is the standard today but i prefer compact phonearound 4.7-5.2inch

  • Almost everything is allright.but maybe screen could be 2k or recording 4k video and or micro sd card could be up to 200gb.
