worst mobile i used in my life, don't go for it because it get over heat in 5 min, if use use camera or vidoe or any game or app like uber this handset get over heat. HTC service center reply is they can't help in heating problem.

Phone already obsolete... HTC doesn't even plan to deploy android 6.0 (last year version!!!) for this phone. They should be ashamed of selling such expensive product without any software maintenance. The quality of the photo is not with the Megapixels but with the build of the camera itself. Try to look at iPhones pictures with only 5MP and Samsung with a higher MP, the iPhone gets a much better photo because its camera is built with good quality compared to others. Try to use your YouTube or Google for comparisons of pictures. They were useful apps if were used XD

The placement of the power button is just wrong. I cannot use it properly with generic accessories like car holder, etc. Accessories like Casing is not very available here in the Philippines - not even from 3rd party. Phone easily gets really warm (compared to other HTC devices I've had before) with CPU/GPU heavy apps. Battery life is relatively shorter compared to other HTC models. All in all, 7 out of 10.

I use a M9+ supreme camera since months. I'm in France the phone has french language and is really great. No lag, no problems with LTE (frequencies). Good photos (OIS + Laser focus), awesome sound, metal finish, decent batery life. Really Fan of HTC & Sense sinbc years I recommend this phone quite hard to find in this exclusive version ! I confirm NO IR Blaster but not important for me.

I bought my HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition in Australia - although they imported it from HK. It came with a lot of Chinese/HK TV apps which I uninstalled. It didn't come with Peel, so I installed that. I could get Peel to work with any of my devices. Tried several other TV/remote apps, but none of them worked either. I have an old smart phone - I pointed it's camera at the IR port on my new one, and used a TV app, but there was no light. I used my TV remove and the camera picked up the pale purple light easily. So I don't think the IR port on my M9+ is working at all. This phone is only about 2 months old. Still haven't got an Android update yet - still 5.0.2. Anything I can do to fix this? I've already emailed HTC Au - waiting for response. Any help would be appreciated.

I purchased the HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera two weeks ago after researching what was available at this stage. (Had the HTC One M7 prior to this.) My observations so far. Yes a very good camera, battery life is good on average useage. Smooth with no issues when in use. Lovely screen and body. Conclusion. Am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend to others.

It does have gorilla glass. And regarding the performance, i wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone. The mediatek processor is horrible. It handles the majority of apps with ease, but the moment you try to play games, you should expect a severe decline in performance, overheating, and loads of frame drops. I switched to this phone last week coming from a Note 5, and it was the worst decision ever. I took a bit of loss few days later and switched to the HTC A9 32GB, and I am lovig every bit of it.

If you have 2 camera lenses on the back, then you have the regular m9+. If you have one big camera lens, and on top of it a black circle that says Laser AF on it, then you have the Supreme Camera edition.

"One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition allows you to capture your best photos in all situation with built-in 2nd generation OIS and industry-leading focusing technology (Laser AF & PDAF)" This how HTC describes the M9+ Supreme Camera on their website, and I was stupid enough to believe it, so I went ahead yesterday and made the worst decision ever, trade a Note 5 for this piece of cr@p. Focusing on this thing is almost impossible, colors are always off, the camera app becomes so sluggish with the slightest shake. I lost hope in catching a good shot of my 3 years old daughter. Add to that a below than average battery life that takes more than 2 hours to fully charge. Then comes the processor, that cant even handle the slightest games like Yahtzee Online and Domino!. I had to go into Developers mode, then turn on the High Performance Mode, which made things a bit better yet affected the already bad battery life. And dont try to watch a YouTube clip at 720p+ reslution, it will empty the battery and shut down before you are done from the phone. Now I have to live with atleast $150 loss or else I would end up banging both my head and the phone till they crack open.

I've been using this phone for 2 weeks . I don't understand the complains about battery life because has very good battery life (+50% then previous phone i had LG G3) . Very good camera in good light, in low light with LED flash is also good,laser focus works very fast. I'm not a mobile gamer so i don't care about gaming. Very nice design overall I'm very glad about this phone. I mention I'm from Romania got it from ebay.de in 7 days from Taiwan.The phone works with Romanian GSM frequencies.

Yes , after i bought this phone it really disappointed me , but other things are not bad at all. you can buy an htc mini+ and enjoy infra-red capability and other features it has. and another disappointing about this phone is they remove gold version of it, just two color is available: gold on silver and the metal or black one.

My friend just confirmed via HTC Taiwan (she lives there and bought the phone for me), that the one m9+ supreme camera edition, does not have an infrared port. She said, that HTC Taiwan said, "hardware modifications is common. Some features may be omitted." So, you either have the one m9+ or your peel remote synced your devices via wifi.

My friend from Taiwan (she imported this phone for me) has just confirmed via HTC Taiwan, that the one m9+ does not have infrared. They said, that only the older models (m9, m9+) support infrared. She also stated, that HTC Taiwan said "hardware modifications is common." This really sucks! It's not a deal breaker, but why the heck do they keep that reddish cover? Why do they also mention infrared?! Really, I love this phone, but I'm a little ticked off..

Here is another camera review in Chinese: Does anybody know if it has faster charging than the original M9+? Mediatek has Fast Pump but HTC decided not to use it for their previous MTK devices (I think X9 does though). BTW I think this phone is a good choice for audiophiles because it has a Wolfson DAC (which comes standard in the Mediatek SoC) in addition to class D headphone amp. The only concern one Chinese site found with M9+ and M9 is that the amp is probably too powerful at the highest volume and may cause distortion.

A few welcoming improvements from the original one M9 plus, but still with the same old 2840 mAh battery life, 34 GB RAM & not quick charging wireless charging, is a major disappointment for a flagship phone of this price. Got to step up with future models HTC if to keep your fans.

This phone is awesome, Camera quality is good specially the OIS works very good. selfie camera is one of the best in market. finger print scanner is good too, if you define every angle of your finger, in every situation it works very good. plus it has face detection , and it works so fast even in an average light. unfortunately this phone has no infra-red port (due my conversation with HTC support). in low light there is some noises but it's natural, and it's better than other HTC models. battery is good too but it runs about 10 to 16 hours with over average usage. charging with original charger takes 1.5 hours from 12 to 100 and it's pretty good. motion lunch is very exiting. DOT view is very fun and useful thing on these phones too. in heavy games it gets too hot because of it's metal body and because htc take mainboard next to back cover. undoubtedly this is best htc phone.

I meant that I tested the Supreme Camera edition (or "Aurora edition" as it is known in Taiwan). The store was somewhat low-light and I noticed a bit of post-processing - overall the quality was very good though. I think it uses the same camera sensor as the Moto X Style. Another thing I noticed was how floaty the OIS is for videos. It keeps the image stable but then you get a sense of lag if you move the camera around too fast. Eventually I decided to get the Sony Xperia Z5, mainly because I wanted a device that could be better used for gaming and has quick-charging. I did run into the notorious camera lens blur, but Sony in Taiwan repaired it fairly quickly.

Also. The audio quality on the supreme camera edition is superb. I enjoy watching videos, movies, and listening to music on this device. For the internal speakers there's theater and music mode. For headphones there's 3 options and an "other."

One m9+ or one m9+ supreme camera edition? Because both have different camera sensors. I had the supreme camera edition (2+ weeks now) and I took pictures of my tv (as there was motion on the screen, I took pictures at night (pitch black) I took pictures with my hands slightly shaking, and at all times, the pictures were spot on perfect. Unfortunately no because there's only one rear camera (second lens is replaced with a laser for focusing). How is the headphone audio quality on the M9+ (or any HTC with Helio X10? I found this audio review for the original M9+ What keeps me away is I don't know how good Mediatek's DAC is compared to Qualcomm's (which is somewhat mixed though HTC usually puts their own amp with the built-in DAC, hope they start putting in a separate DAC like LG, ZTE and Lenovo have done.) I tried the M9+ briefly today and thought it's camera was pretty good but there is still a considerable amount of post-processing in low-light. The sensor is the same one as the Moto X Style but you get more manual options such as white balance etc. The OIS works well but is a little floaty when you leave the camera stationary.

As far as I know, it is only available in Taiwan. I imported it through a friend, who lives in Taiwan. I absolutely love this phone. It should have been what the regular one m9 was. It's also being updated to marshamallow.

HTC one m9+ is available in Asia and Europe (not the United States/Americas). The HTC one m9+ supreme camera edition (or OIS edition) is only available in Taiwan. Best way to differentiate the devices is from the second small lense on the back. The m9+ has a dual cam, the m9+ supreme camera has no dual cam, and on the second smaller lense it says "laser AF."

The communication is REALLY good and friendly. If you want to buy, do it with them. The 4G network is working here in the Netherlands for me...but you need to check that for your country. I have the phone now for more then a week. It's a great phone. The specs are as the M9+ BUT with a VERY good camera. There are some youtubers who reviewed the M9+, if you want to know how it performs. It's only the cam you wont find any info on on the web...I took a leap of faith..But i'm a big htc fan and am totally satisfied. I can tell you that the camera works much better then any cam htc has ever had (and I've owned several htcs). The OIS works really good. Night shots I took with out a tripot came out slick and sharp. It's the best htc i've had so far (for me and in my opinion) . For me, this is htcs true flagship for 2015.

This is what the One M9 should have been from the get go, but hats off to HTC for at least making the effort to fix their mistake. This device with these specs are on par with all the top flagship devices of 2015. The camera was the main reason I didn't get the original One M9, it was a 20MP but a mediocre sensor. Now they've pulled out all stops and upped it to 21MP and added OIS. That doesn't make it the best in the market, but it definitely marks an improvement. I might get this device now that HTC seems to have understood what their customers want.

You are just speculating. I had LG G4 for a month and I used it when I was travelling which means taking a lot of pictures and charging. I never felt like it had any heat issue. actually after LG G4 I switches to Galaxy S6 which in start I felt warmer and not comfortable to hold especially on sides.. LG G4 is a lot cooler in hand than S6..

Apart from being old tech now, its build quality and design is way above hoards of overpriced and poorly put together plastic toys they are flooding the market with these days. My Desire S is a beauty to look at and a pleasure to hold. I'm in the market for a new phone (after returning a HTC One M8s), and I can't find something of a great design and solid construction. Sadly htc seem disorganised as a company and disconnected from it's market, hopefully until now. imo Samsung phones are not as intuitive or easy to use, i've had them too and much prefer htc but last 2 models had stupid camera design so my money went elsewgere. get it together htc your products are good but your floundering as an organisation.

I'm regretting it I miss my HTC one much better phone to operate simple but stylish in looks and software. If they could just concentrate on camera update the design slightly to make it current. This must be a joke. Five months after the release of the first M9+ they come with a "new" model. This "supreme camera" sounds like something a tabloid would do to attract the public attention. A recycled M9+ that has +1 MP and an autofocus system with laser. It feels like this should have been originally but they were in a rush of "amazing" the public. Maybe a lot of development went in to this new model but it looks like the old one, not even the autofocus sensor was moved from that place or any other change to make it feel a bit fresher. They have too manny models that wither look the same or they have the same spec. A higher clocked processor or a higher count mp(1) in a camera doesn't sound very convincing. My current phone is neither an apple neither a samsung or sony.
