It's a great phone for people that don't use it 24/7 (however it can be used for that, it just lacks battery and reliability) Some negatives: -It breaks easily, and the keyboard does weird things -It doesnt go very bright and doesn't go very dim either -It cant go very loud -It has 8MP but when you use that resolution your photo is waay smaller than with 6MP so you dont really have a choice

And after 2 years of using it, my hp suddenly black out and when i turn it on, it says internal storage is damaged. The camera of this phone was its only asset. When I bought it, I have downloaded only 6 apps and it keeps on saying the storage is full. I tried deleting some apps until I got only 3 apps left, however once in a while it still keeps on saying the storage is full. With no other options, I get to live with it. And then just a week after its warranty expires, my phone shut down. And when I turned it on, it stuck on a screen that says "Internal memory is damaged.", I tried everything to get it work but got no chance. I tried bringing it to the service center but they said, it will be too costly for me to have it repaired since it is already out of warranty and it will be better for me to just buy a new phone. Buy this and you will regret it.

You can have like 5-6 extra apps then there is no space left to download any more, even if you have space on your internal or SD card, no allocated space for apps. What irritates me is I dont use so many of the pre-downloaded apps and I have to keep them..

You can change the default storage to sd card actually, go to settings > device > storage > change phone to sd card.

Activate swap. 3G version doesn't need because it have zram, but 4G ( LTE ) doesn't have but you can activate swap, it helps by a bit.

same here. it's because the only allowed memory that you can used from the internal is 1GB. So technically if you open up or you use facebook your running storage because fb is using up 100 to 200 mb. plus you other apps.

I change a root zip that allows to root and send the apps to sd card, only need a primary ext4 partition with the size you wanted in sd card, this avoids the low storage problems. But need to unlock the bootloader. See more in here ­

I have a Huawei Ascend G6-U251 and even though I have 4GB of internal storage, it says I have 87.54 MB free from 4.00Gb total but I barely have things installed on the phone as I try to backup my things to the SD card. Fast UI and god ram managment, no lags For those with app problems due low memmory-from the memmory seerings switxh to main storage>sd if u have sd memmory And when u want to install apps download them as apk but them in the sd and intall them that way u can install everything with no low memmory message Goigle play downloads first in the phone memmory and then move the app to the sd and when there is no internal memory you cant download from play not even update so just download the apks you want and inatall them manually from the file explorer app its that easy

Hi! You changed the default storage do external sd card, but that doesn't change the place where is installed the apps and your user settings ( msg, definitions, etc ). That goes to data partition, and what you change was storage partition. That can be fixed, we can take "sapace" from internal storage and give to data. I use a 32GB external storage so internal storage is not useful...

Has anybody here already tried emailing huawei to request for bootloader unlock code? Did they respond to your email and provided you the unlock code? Because its very complicated to root this phone and do some modifications in the rom. Because if it happens that you bricked your phone or it goes bootloop you wont be able to fix it or flash it without having the bootloader unlocked.

Whenever I try to download some apps it always says that there is not enough space on my phone. dear friend dont worry the solution of ur problem is... first u change ur storge like go to settings and select storage than prefer storage location than u choose .. internal storage to sd card storage u select sd card storage. after that u can move some heavy games and apps to sd card than. u can download all apps and games on play store

Hey About your problem: 1. You have to move your apps from phone to SD card. And you have to have enough space for app at first. After installation, you can move apps to the SD card 2. About updating your android, unfortunately there is no update for g6.

I drop my G6 from about the same height as you did, but was lucky I managed to put my leg out to catch it therefore it hit my leg before hitting the ground.ITS OK FOR NOW .The only thing that bother me is the sound will be very soft if you place the phone with the screen facing upwards and the speaker face down on a flat surface. It should have small dots floating out from the back cover.

I have this phone. Great screen. Non-removable Battery is great; it, drains very slow in standby mode. Built is good, removable back cover is flexible. UI sucks but customizable. Can move apps to sd card. Camera is amazing. In-built phone manager app is excellent. Not gorilla glass but IPS LCD. chepaer than moto g in my country.

I got this phone for $174 USD (Php 7,650 pesos). I must say that this phone is pretty good for the price. Here are some tips and things that I noticed after a day of usage: 1. UI: I don't like the UI (Pretty subjective. It depends on personal taste!) - If you don't like the UI, Here are some tweaks that you can try: Install a launcher. (Mine is Nokia's Z launcher) Replace the system font by using the Ifont app. Installed google keyboard (Or fleksy etc) Installed Textra as my SMS app. You can pretty much customize anything, I did all these without rooting. IF your techie enough, you can root the phone, get rid of the bloatware and intall a custom ROM. There's a working Android L for the G6. 2. CAMERA: The rear cam is pretty decent indoors, front cam is very good. Xiaomi's 8 mp is still a little better. (not much of a big deal to be honest) 3. BATTERY (non-replaceable): Battery is good. It could last for a day and a half with normal usage. There's no need for the greenify app, the phone manager app is pretty good for managing the battery and deleting junk files. Battery draining is pretty slow if set under endurance mode (like SONY's stamina mode). I think this mode underclocks the CPU so it can save power (though I'm not sure about this) Overall, I think the battery life is not an issue at all. Make sure to turn off unecessary processes, sounds and haptic feedback to prolong batt life. 4. Touch and Navigation: Overall good. 5. Screen and SOunds: GOOD, awkward audio jack placement (I like it though) Overall this is a good phone from Huawei. BTW, I don't wanna sound like a fanboy but Huawei is actually reputable brand. They're big company. This is not just another cheap Chinese brand.

I have a question guys, is the battery really removeable, many say yes and many says no. Pls help soon Anyways my reply to people that stereotype China product all as junk. It might be true for small companies, but for reputated brands like Huawei, you can trust the phone. One of the few reasons why the phone might have problems is that the setting might be wrong, you might have bought it from some untrustable source and I notice many peope are very rough with their phone. Please dont blame it on the manufacturer before finding the real problem. I own a Huawei ascend p2 and it have served me well, or better than just well, the thought of un removeable battery on this p2 is sonething scary, but I soon notice the truth quality of this phone and whenever it experience battery problem, unlike other phones, the phone battery kinda auto heals itselfs, very impressive. So remember guys, buy from reputatable conpany, like Samsung, sony, Huawei and so on. And one more thing, although xiaomi had broke lots of patents, I hardly see huawei break any and I like Huawei design a lot. The interface seems dumb at first, but once you get used, it is actually pretty awesome.

This iPhone is fantastic. I own a Samsung s4 mini-rooted nad i must say that g6 is better. I tested it one day. Battery is good (i disabled a lot of uselles aplications), flash for camera is good too, so pictures shoots at night are good( this option is very important for me). Interface is different but very pleasing. WiFi and sound of voice are good too. I bought it for 160 eur nad i think there is no Better phone for this kind od money. Shape of telephone is beautiful. Heating is not problem, i reached max 30 Degrees with one operation (or WiFi or bluetooth or watching the movie....)

I recently bought this unit and I just noticed that the quality of the pictures taken with flash has a yellowish tint and grainy texture (as if it's VGA and not 8MP). Is this normal for this unit? Or I should have my phone checked? When I take pictures with flash, the pictures taken with the front camera (5MP) is way better than that of the primary camera (8MP). I have seen the sample photos online taken with Huawei Ascend G6, and they seem to have a decent quality.

Maybe your network is in 3g mode..and your brightness is too high.. Try to switch your network in 2g mode if you're not using data connection.. And of course set your brightness in "automatic mode" .. And also always manage to close your unused running apps. After doing these,observe you phone's battery performance for 2 days and compare it. If nothing has change,you better consult huawei's authorize service center.. Hope this will help But in my case,my G6 last for one and a half day... And about 12hours when i'm surfing and playing game. So far,i have nothing to say with this phone. Im satisfied with it.

I'm not connected to the app, just know that it has helped me before. Regarding the Facebook question - describe the steps you take to save the images. It could be that the app does not allow you to save images from it, try loading Facebook in a browser, press and hold the image and it should give you an option to save it on the phone

I bought my wife this phone last week. Quite frustration to using it on first day, everything seems going to be wrong. Then i ask her to shutdown and let it be charged for a night. The next morning we tested the phone's performance and it was great. Match to my asus zenfone 5, even better battery life. So for a week, here i can say about this phone compare to zenfone 5: pro: -better battery life, last for a day and half for single charging. My zenfone cant even reach 12hours normal usage. -Beatufully designed, perfect thickness, suit to my wife's cute fingers. My zenfone look like a monster when i put side by side. -5mp selfie camera made my wife 24hours selfying wi5h m7 baby. -very nice and easy ui. Iphone look like. Cons: -zenfone 5 win in term of display quality. 299Ppi vs 245ppi. Noise in some pictures easily to show up. -1 Sim compare to dual sim on zenfone. -I cant find a setting to remove vibration during typing. Others: -no issue on internal memory at all as i can move apps to sd card anytime. Beautiful phone and worth every penny..highly recommended for girl users, even handsome for guys.

I get this phone for my second one. Like the design and how the phone works, but why from Huawei didnt upgrade it atleast to kitkat. My dayli driver is Moto g and both devices have very similar specs, but software of Motorola is far better. Samsung in past have same politics to not update their mid-ranger's but i think they fix that. Hope from Huawei update this unit coz is capable to run even better.

If you're a person who's not fancy on apps and all then his phone is good for you. Cause I only use WhatsApp fb twitter and all, its definitely works well. YouTube wise, it might have 720p, but 480p is good enough IMO. And the camera is very good. I got it like 200bucks cheaper and still loving it :) Oh and design wise, I really love it. It doesn't give you a cheap feel :)

"Keep the wifi on during sleep" actually reduces battery consumption in many cases. If you disable this, then the phone will use mobile (cellular) data for any background data, which uses more battery. Also, wifi does not take much battery when idle. im having a similar problem, its barely a few months old and all my games automatically close for no reason at random times. Have literally opened a game, started a "match" then put it on the table and just watched it. After about a minute, game closed itself. Seems to be a problem with the phone, not the games.(and no, its not going into screensaver, its literally closing the game and sitting on "desktop", the problem also happens even if im actually playing the game)

hi. you can go to settings,then storage, and choose default storage sd card. after that you can go to applications one by one and you can remove it to sd card.

I really Love this Mobile Phone.. Especially its unique features that can't be seen in other mobile brands. Some people say negative about this phone but I think its not the product's fault, it the user's fault because he/she doesn't know how to explore things. I believe its features are very easy to use. I can customized almost of the settings. anyways to those who complain about the battery, well. as Users you need to be wise!. If you want to save battery just adjust the brightness and turn off some of the unnecessary application that are running.

The camera of this phone is 8mp but when i take pictures it look like 2mp below. I have here sony ericson cedar it has 3mp camera which very much better picture quality compared to 8mp camera of this phone.

Huawei phones are impressive. What I love most is the picture quality. Whether you use front cam or the back cam, its really a wow considering the price. Also, unlike most android phones, huawei also has neat designs that most android phone lacks. You 'll find it easy to mange apps and where to find them. Unless you are into expensive brands with almost the same feature, if a decent phone with it's current price,you'll get more than what you expect.

If you experience heating on Huawei G6 when you play games on or using 3G you should consider change to Xperia Z series. If the phone gets "hot" all you got to do is to dip it into the water to cool it off.

This phone is very good, good battery life IMO, im really impress with it though, haven't experience the heating problem when it comes to gaming, but experienced the heating when 3g is on but IMO its tolerable. Over all very good phone and I'm happy with it, looks very premium with its price. I have a question though are we getting a KitKat update? I hope.

I just got it week ago, here are my experience: Pros: very nice design. Light. Slim. Very clear voice"head speaker and mic". Perfect screen size. Nice resolution. Cons: heats up a lot when gaming and using data2&3G or wireless. Battery drain a bit fast. can is average below expectation. Light sensor lags and not reacting well with changes. Low speaker volume(playback) Overall: nice with this rate

beware! screen is extremely fragile. been using mine for less than 2 weeks. the phone is very good considering the price i purchased it(~200 usd). but, today, i put it on the marble windowsil, on its longer side, listenin to music, and it slipped, and the screen shattered. it is still functional. considering it fell with one side in contact with the marble at all times, i have to say the screen is incredibly fragile. no scratches though, so far.

I have bought g6 2 days back. I am liking it very much. there is something i have observed in my set and that is every time i put my set for charging its wifi turns on all by itself. I turn it off, the phone goes to sleep in 15 secs and when i awake it, and i find the wifi on. can any one tell why it is happening. i have also se " Keep the wifi on during sleep" option to never. so battery may not be wasted whwn i am not using wifi. please help me out here a little. i switched from samsung to huawei. i am liking huawei other than this reason. its irritating that i wifi turns on all by it self.

Hi, i have the LTE version about few weeks. The LTE version has 8GB of internal memory. Antutu score is about 17000 and overtakes D1 quad xl a little bit. The phone is very snappy, nothing lags, camera is good. Battery last for about one day on LTE and heavy use. I'm happy with this phone for such a little price (188 euro). I hope Huawei will release KitKat for this phone

I have solve the unimpressive music issues. Just download the jet music basic. And adjust the presets to acquire boombastic sound quality. And turn off the dts sorround sound coz it is of no use after all... after all these i am facing a new issue.. the battery will easily drain.. especially when using wifi. No wonder why gsm arena didnt include the standby and talk time in its specifications. and also i reli hate seeing the battery percentage getting lower from time to time. Does anyone knows how to turn off the battery percentage of this phone? it is located beside the battery icon.

I bought this phone yesterday for 9,999 pesos... i am so attracted by its design. The transition is very smooth because its already 4.3 jellybean..both cameras are great. But the music player is a little bit issue here. It says it has a dts sound but wen u play using the headset, the sound is not that impressive and it doesnt have a music presets. The bass is not boombastic. The volume is not so loud even if u set it in its highest volume.

you have 3g,4g and 3g version.but 4g is available only in huawei online shop and is higher price for around 50 dollars.sou i hate and i cant belive that huawei dosent want send that version and honor 3c in shops around the world.they would sell millions! i will probably buy g6 3g in monday because i dont want to order honor 3c online and then if is something wrong with device every time send it back to china and waiting months to get device back.and we all know when you buy smartphone you must atleast one time usr your guarantie haha

just bought thi phone and all i can is awesome. light weight, just fits the hand, smooth transition between windows, swipe is good.... havent tested how the battery charges or how long it lasts since i oonly have it a day and the battery is not drained yet. callsy color. nice sound (as compared to samsung note3). nice back and front cam, you can even see your white heads... lol

Wow awesome....recently i sold my s3 and now i bought this...this phone is better than s3 except gpu..it has adreno 305 and s3 has 544mp2...i m sayb this becoz i was usin psp emulator on s3 which was running gakes smoothly while this cell has sm lags...rest of the games are running good..its touch is super and both cameras are awesm...good battery and fast charging..and simply killer looks...seriously i hv never been used this sort of technology throughout in my life...guys just buy this piece of beauty...

Hi i did a simple hands on this phone a little few weeks ago under the name Jerry.Since then is the phone sent back to student mobile in holland twice.Today we are sending it back the third time. There is a probelem with the software. After you have set up home screens the phone runs okay until you restart it resets to the original factory homescreen. The phone still works but its is annoying having to redo everythng. hope this helps people

have got phone now my wife is using it. Screen is good for 245ppi, my wife real heavy candy crush player get a full day plus a bit left over with battery. Front camera very good back camera not yet tested. Phone is slippery to the touch i had the feeling i was going to dropit main reason i gave it to her. Phone lays nice in hand though. can use phone one handed. Phone is pretty fast no lag for face book, candy crush . The swipe is not as good as the acer s500 swipe. Menu structure is different to other androids. You have run every thing from home screens. It is hard to explain there is no menu button where everything is.You can get to settings easily enough. The phone tells you if you battery draining or memory hugging apps open my wife loves this. loud speaker is good not great.

Hi all , compare to Ascend P6S, its a hany 4G phone! more data speed, having external memory card slot, new BLTH version, expected to be little cheaper than P6S. power is same but resoution is diffferent,( lower) so we can expect a descent performance than too. only one dobt that was it a Single SIM or Dual.
