  • Yes By far i am using this device for 2 month.And it has been great performer since then in every aspect. Talking about the battery life,the device is very intensive battery optimizer.It takes 5-7 min to reduce 1% of charge on uses like social apps video streaming.so you can get at least 8-9 hr back from this device on minimal use.O heavy uses the performance is also great as for the optimization.If the charge get drained out you can charge it 30 min and get 50% of charge which is enough for 4-5 hr run time.   • Bought this phone online, the vendor didn't specify that its only meant for China. Dont waste your money, the phone does not have google play store and any google App. Huwei made this phone for their fellow Chinese people.

  • The phone easily lasts a day, even with heavy usage, and a full charge takes around 100 limutes.

  • Got it as gift yesterday, turned it on, everything in Chinese, switched language to English, all apps in Chinese, deleted all apps, using it as 128 GB + 256 GB (USB) storage now. Ad says dual sim, only one sim usable, the 2nd slot is taken by microSD card.

  • Kirin 960 yet the maximum video recording capability is just 1080p? Is it even 60fps? Huawei P10 Plus with the same exact SoC can do both 4K@30fps and 1080p@60fps.

  • Lol Kirin 960 is better. It was once a flagship SoC that competed (and mostly defeated) with the SD820 and 821 of 2016. It was neck-and-neck with the Apple A10 Fusion, which was also a flagship SoC. 16nm it may be, it doesn't really get that hot, and the extra power is all well worth it (more than twice the benchmark scores and RAW power of those SoC's you've mentioned).

  • Nope,the latest Kirin 970 is built on a 10nm manufacturing process,not 16nm

  • SD 820 wasn't made of 16nm, it was made of 14nm. While Kirin 960 was made of 16nm because it's processed at TSMC and TSMC's current technology is at 16nm (7nm is incoming) however, the newer Kirin 970 is also built at 16nm. Beside, Kirin 960 comprises of Octacore while SD 820 is Quadcore.

  • Maybe but Kirin 970 should be a much better option. With 5 pins it charges really fast have advanced cooling techiques and its a lot faster from its precedessor.

  • Best feature is that it has dual camera on both back AND front. So 4 cameras in all. They use very high-resolution sensors: 16 M + 20 M (back) + 2*20 M (front) pixel sensor. Extraordinarily high pixel count for front cameras. I'd like to see camera performance evaluation of this model. Kirin 960 is good choice. It may not be the latest AP made with 10 nm process, but good enough similar to Snapdragon 820 (16 nm) of last year flagship. Starting 2700 CNY(408 USD), Good price.

  • Even though it comes with only Kirin 960, I will still take it... Benchmark scores may not favor Kirin compares to Snapdragon and Exynos... But when it comes to daily usage Kirin will keep up with the other chipset.....

  • No, bro you are completely wrong. Huawei Flagship phones like Mate 9 (currently I am using) has awesome camera that even beats iPhone 7 plus. The camera specs that you have mentioned are all supported by my Mate 9. You also have to look at the value for money and the ease of usage. iPhone is priced excessively compared to what it packed with. Additionally iPhone is not really user friendly in terms of sharing and transferring data.
