Kyocera Echo - User Reviews

  • Agreed. I had 4 of them in their day. Back to back.

  • Sprint only? Okay, this is unusable for me.

  • It was thick, bulky, had a really weird screen mechanism and wasn't compatible with any software besides a stock set of Android applications

  • Why is this considered one of the worst phones of all time?

  • Buy him a newer phone, this is a phone from 2011, n64 and ps1 would be really bad if you could even run it.

  • And look at this phone today. Even the phones around that time are terrible by today's standards.

  • it is considered android you miss read the original comment

  • Looking into buying this phone for my 15 son ..who loves to play games ..i didn't relize it wasnt considered an andriod phone . You mention n64 and ps1 game playing capability. ..can you explian the to me plz ...i am totally lost when it comes to this gaming world

  • The Echo has Corinng Gorilla Glass!

  • i had one of these phones for a short time now yes in 2 screen mode the bat life was well it just was not good hence the second bat tandem charger (plug your wall-wart into bat pack and usb from bat to phone or when on the go take the bat with you to provide a boost when your phone gets low ok so off of that subject about the phone full of features and powerful enough to play games like jet car stunts

  • Number 1!

  • They knew the battery life sucked. That's why our came with a second battery and battery charger. Wasn't as slow as you say, but the bloatware was terrible.

  • come on this is best phone, i hope you had one.

  • What is wrong with you people who actually like this phone? This was THE WORST smartphone of 2011 (rated by Phonedog). This phone lags and on top of that doesn't last 5 minutes!

  • mine to i'd like to know if it will work in my country we have cdma system

  • This phone is awesome. Hinge super sturdy -- dropped phone hard several times on pavement. It didn't flinch. Giant screen but fits nice in your hand because it folds over on itself. No hand cramps...good feel when you are talking on it. Call quality excellent. You can set up 2 email accounts - your gmail and your work email (even if your work uses googleapps!!) and have icons for each, seperately. Voice recognition superb. Easy to use. Very intuitive.

  • Is it possible to use the "Kyocera Echo" Android-Smartphone in Europe (exactly Austria)?

  • can i use this phone in india without activation?

  • Wao super cellphone is very different great Android yea

  • yeah it runs temple run, angry birds and many other great games, and some of them are free, unlike iphone, theres also the option to play n64 or ps1 since android DOES let you get them throught theyre market :)

  • can this phone download temple run? or some other games like in the iphone? pls reply thanks :3

  • how do you close it is it slide or fold like they nintendo ds? pls reply.i really want this phone :3

  • well, not so amazing.during calls It does not use both of the screens, only one...and that too probably swithces off

  • Great design...it could do better with a dual core and a bigger battery though. But still great. Is there any review for this one?

  • great

  • it has two display obviously the battery life will be bad but it has two separate display which makes the video watching or browsing difficult which we must get used too

  • Yeah more like 2 X 1750mAh

  • the device comes with 2 batteries, i think they know that it needs quite a bit more than the 1750mAh

  • Please help me My country use cdma ruim card type. I want use this cdma handse. But some of cdma handsets haven't ruim slot. i love this handsets. so tell me kyocera echo have ruim slot. reply me. Thank a lot.

  • like a nintendo ds...

  • like the features except battery capacity. dual screen needs more battery capacity i think

  • according to sprint, the phone has up to 7 hours of talk time. suprising for a dual touchscreen

  • Battery life is probably horrible...

  • i love the modal

  • This phone looks good. It has two displays and great functionality. It's a must for users with big fingers. Too bad there's no GSM version.
