LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Edition - User Reviews

  • Don't. Buy a xiaomi phone with a snapdragon processor

  • I have own this phone for over a year without an issue. Though the screen seems to be failing and i have to restart it to make it work. I cant find the battery replacement of my particular model X653. Its a good phone but since Leeco changes models so often i wouldnt buy it unless i buy all the parts separately to have an spair screen, battery and flex.

  • I wanna get mine I need advice to get it or not

  • Please help I can't find usb port flex for my phone Please get me link for buy this

  • I have been using this phone for a year and it works just fine. But now the screen has started showing some problem, it gets burn in when you play games for long even though its an Lcd but then it recovers completely. Its strange

  • Phone has everything i wanted except waterproof and NFC. Got the dual sim version and outgoing texts dont work with AT&T network. Also dont receive some of the group texts from iphone users. AT&T says the IMEI number is "unknown" status. Tried switching to every IMEI from every current and old phone I could find but nothing worked. Dont seem to be having problems with my non-AT&T sim cards so i think this is an AT&T problem. Basically, if you are AT&T customer, then this phone will not text properly.

  • How to install pixel g cam mod?

  • Can You Give Me The Link

  • nice am on it already just got mine

  • my X653 has no NFC. Please help me, if you know how, to activate NFC. Thank you.

  • leeco was once next big thing owner got greedy and went shortcut

  • How

  • It has NFC, but it won't work on chinese version of EUI

  • honestly, leeco produce good smartphone. the market expanding decision is a bad decision, it's too soon. i hope they can make it out and produce smartphone again,

  • Does it have NFC? Please, does anyone know it? it is stated that it has NFC but not in the user manual a friend bought it but not found there any suggestion?

  • Been using it for a week. Everythings good. But wow that battery drains too fast for a 4000mah. Fully charge on 5am. Using it for youtube and google heavily and the battery hit 20% by 2.30pm. But its fast charging, so yeah..

  • Just worth noting, these phones are epic for sustainability. I have the LeEco LePro 3 since Nov 2016 and despite MANY arguments with floors, walls, roads etc there is nothing but a couple of scratches on it!! I love it, Looking to gradeup now so I'm wondering if anyone has a simple review on the basics, I use it for social media, phone, text and you tube videos, camera etc. Are these aspects roughly the same?

  • still on android 6?

  • Can you get a full day of use out of it?

  • i have the phone. If yoy look again the price you will see that there is no other phone like this. Usb-c support cdla ,and if you connect the original leeco headphones ,the sound is pretty good. So if you dont like to smebody ok give 800 euros more and bauy summy

  • overall phone is good with antutu benchmark up to 110k. price is absolutely cheap compared to others phone with same specs. Charging with type j cable heating up battery to 36c. With usb charge, heat stays at 26c. Letv software I believed is dead and stop supporting this phone but good to stay with android 6. Alternate choice is to flash it with better android rom. Warranty on hardware given is only 3 months and 1 year for software. Phone shops are still not confident with china AP set so is just a matter of time to prove its reliability in future. 2 issues I observed will happened to everyone and solutions I happily shared below. 1. GPS doesn't detect locations. What you need to do is to open up the compass apps and calibrate GPS. Swing your phone to left, right and round with S shape and etc until it satisfies the conditions. 2. Screen overlay permission issues. After new apps are installed, you will be prompted with this msg and unable to set the permission for the new apps. This is because the Swipe shortcuts is enabled and it disallowed permission to other apps. Since this is developed by Leeco and the Swipe shortcuts are not in the "Draw over other apps" Setting the only things you can do is to disable the Swipe shortcuts and then Install New Apps , Set the permission then reenable the swipe shortcuts if you think you need it. Settings -> Accessibility -> Swipe shortcuts

  • Performance good Battery drain bit fast but thanks to the fast charging 3.0 . 1 1/2 hour full charge Gaming is good but heating up for high graphics games.

  • Very nice phone except for the draining battery. I am a heavy user of video and GPS which demands a lot from a battery, but still I would have expected a much better performance from a device with 4000mAh. In regards e.g. with Iman victor who has the same battery specs the LeECO le Pro AI Edition only 1/4 of the usage of the Iman.

  • LeEco phone have high quality build, but I hope their phone all go for Snapdragon because MediaTek are bad :)

  • Is it Gorilla Glass? What version? Do I still need to use Tempered Glass?

  • No

  • Yes

  • Does the screen sensitive enough to play MOBA games?

  • Does this phone have any custom ROMs?

  • Fluid but sometimes have color processing problems. One reviewer in YouTube showed that the images turn green but there wasn't lag. I have the same phone and I used it to play Tekken, it's good in performance wise.

  • Can someone give a qiuck reviews about gaming on this phone..tq

  • Eh. But my phone doesn't have overheat issue when charging. Only the charger get heated up cause of quick charge

  • I am using it at broad daylight. My Mi Note Pro has more dull color, but has more detail when I zoomed in the pictures... while my Leeco has better colors but water colored details when zoomed.

  • Yes it is too good to be true, But it is LEGIT

  • cam is not good on lowlight

  • I have this phone and this are the cons so far imo Pros: Camera : video recording is a bit dark 9/10 Battery: Overheats while charging it reaches 40°C. Even using data or wifi it overheats And it has default chinese apps that you can't uninstall

  • battery backup is it good i this helio phone? how long it last?

  • I don't really get it... the phone is all good and power but when I am using the hind camera... the colors are great but the details are kinda blurry. I thought standstill images will be much better with its dual cam... Using the Global version of this phone, anyone has this problem?

  • Anyone knows how the phone held up in 2018? The price seems to be too cheap for that kind of spec imo. Though it's using helio soc..

  • Thanks reply i think i miss out the good deal *sad*

  • "AI Edition" Released the same month as when The 8-Bit Guy made a video about AI and got a lot of hate!

  • where to buy?? any idea

  • from Direct D Mega Sales which ended at 16 January

  • Where did you got the 64gb version rm550 in malaysia?

  • I would like to know if the GPS works well. Thanks!

  • i think its just awesome!!!!!!!

  • Hello I don't know about redmi because I didn't use it before. So I use Lenovo p2 to compare since it also have sd 625. In software. Lenovo win because of its smoothly stock android. LeEco doesn't feel bad but compare side to side Lenovo win Performance in cpu LeEco win with helio x27 10 core But in gpu things change Lenovo win Camera LeEco win with a more customizable camera option and a bit clear in low light than Lenovo Battery Lenovo p2 with 5.1k mAH with sd 625 and beautiful amoled display win with 12 hours sot. While LeEco only can survive max of 8 hours But mediatek drain faster in off screen when I didn't use it.

  • How would you compare with the Redmi Note 4 SD625? Kinda looking which to get.

  • With the Pixel G Cam Mod installed, the camera is absolutely amazing

  • about 10 to 12 hours.

  • Leeco has camera is better than p2 in low light condition. I'll consider p2 because of fluent stock android Lenovo providing. It doesn't mean leeco slow is just p2 just faster compare to it.

  • Hey Jimmmmi thank for the short review , wut about P2 Camera compared to the Pro3 Ai , was it not P2 camera really bad ? Wut SOT ur P2 , Thanks!

  • Hello I just used this phone for about a day now I'll tell you all what I like I dislike . Mine is 4gb RAM 64gb Rom eco edition with helio x27 Build quality : 8/10 Whole metal body design. Sturdy but sturdy . Look gorgeous like a premium phone . But the huge bezel is irritate for those who don't like but I fine with that. Also it seem like it will broke once you drop it and it doesn't have any gorilla glass protected. Display quality is goooood Performance: 8/10 Yes it strong. With a 10 core CPU. It handle most task with fly colour. No lag at all. But it doesn't have good GPU .Which result in poor in gaming.it handle light game just find , but heavy game it will still lagg Camera 7/10 Just a piece of dual camera good daylight shot . Acceptable low light shot . Manual feature improve shot quite alot. Video is OK .4k 30fps but no ois,it made whole footage shaky. Conclusion Yes is best bang of the buck phone just cost rm550. But no NFC .No headphone jack battery is OK can survive for one whole day only 8hrs of SOT. But charging speed is quite slow compare to my Lenovo p2 with 5k mah and quick charge

  • Does it have NFC?

  • the phone is well built.. performance as equal as you aspect from xiaomi device and a lot better than lenovo device.. too bad the dual speaker from the earlier Le pro 3 are not present with the new Le pro 3 for dolby atmos.. but still the speaker is still great

  • How is the display ? Is it on par with those around RM 900 phone? Storage is around 50gb ? Is the phone rooted?

  • How is it's camera please reply fast

  • Plz make a review about the camera in a)low light b)Screen on time (SOT) and c)Speaker sound loudness & clarity on music . Does the box come with earphone , dongle to convert to normal earjack pin etc. Thank you !

  • I recently buy this online now waiting for it to ship to my house. I had bought 4gb 64gb variant just for RM600(150USD)!! I'll tell you what good about this phone when I hands on it

  • Phones not having a 3.5mm headphone jack is normal in 2017...

  • For company I've only heard minimal things about, this phone looks promising

  • its a 13 megapixel camera that can record 2k resolution, its a good camera

  • No 3.5mm Jack and LCD screen is a deal breaker

  • Hey guys... What u think about the camera ?

  • No 3.5mm jack and LCD screen made me desist of purchase

  • This phone is unsurprisingly obscure.

  • hmmm, design looks nice

  • Forget that there isn't a headphone jack and people might as well get used to it. Since it seems to be the path that all new phone releases are taking. Just buy a decent pair of BT headphones and there's no issue. Besides this phone comes with excellent USB-C headphones that sound fantastic.

  • Ditching the 3.5mm jack has absolutely no benefit for users. There is no improvement in sound quality and it forces users to carry a dongle to be able to use their specialist earphones. The only reason Le Eco did so was because it wanted to be the first to ape Apple. Apple had financial reasons to ditch the 3.5mm jack but Le Eco, a tottering manufacturer, only increased its cost. Very bad decision.

  • Hey guys,

  • Usb type-c port

  • Superb

  • No SD card slot, oops

  • How's the audio output for the device?

  • This LeEco company has managed to produce one of the best-selling phones in this LeEco Pro 3 series. The image displayed on the phone screen is exceptional. The sound of the phone, to playback movies, music, etc. is very good, and if you activate CDLMA, then the sound is MAGNIFIC. Even Samsung S7 or Iphone 7 can not match it, to sound playback. And jack replacement is welcome. It's more convenient and practical with the Type-C usb plug.

  • no 3.5mm jack for water resistance. you'll probably get an 3.5mm to usb type c converter in the box for wired headphone and it'll probably take 3days to lose that and u'll never ever able to use that while charging

  • *yawn*

  • What's the point if it hasn't got a 3.5mm jack? Who wants to have to use a dongle to be able to use one's favourite earplug?

  • Using SD625 would've been unreal

  • leeco is not yet awake from their deep slumber!!!

  • give frequent updates, dont take too much time

  • Improve the software quality, you guys are doing awesome other vice

  • leeco dreams to be apple

  • LeEco.... producing a 5" or 5.2" phone won't hurt you, you know.

  • why don't give sd card option? why 3.5 m.m headphon port gone? junk mobile.....

  • No SD card slot, no jack slot = trash
