There are two versions of this tablet. A 3g version and 2g version. 3g version is lenovo A3300 HV and the 2g version which I bought is Lenovo A3300 GV.

This tablet started having some issue or the other after the warranty period. Initially there was issues with the camera. And then the tablet will get stuck and even the power button didnt work. That was solved after rebooting the phone using the reset pin near the Sim and SD card slot. After that the main issue started. While using 2g data,the screen would start flickering and I tried doing a hard reset, gave the phone to the service center but they were unable to help. Updated it. Still no use. Now I am using this tab on WiFi only for reading, watching movies, surfing online and for playing light games. 2g is slow so WiFi is the better option anyway. Battery is great. Except for these, this tab is an okayish tablet. I feel I'm the only one facing the issue. Many of my colleagues who bought this tab has faced no such issues. Suits my needs well. I bought this tab in April,2014. During the time, this was the best for the price paid. Now there are several better alternatives of course.

I am using this since 1year... Power packed battery, quick processing and satisfaction for buyer are those which can be guaranteed. But, I have observed alot of touch screen problems. Its sensitivity is not at all good when compared to others at same price. Hope lenovo may improvise it.

Halo dear friend. When your tab is lag, cannot be turn on, try pushing reset button inside the case. It is located near sd card slot. Open the back case youll see the button.

open the back of your tablet, when you see the metal part that does have little screw near the battery just unscrew it and when you see the red and blue wires the white thing connecting trough ther wires just lift it p and put it baack again and then you can now open again your lenovo tab

To fix the touch issue you need to flash the boot.img from a previous version of the stock ROM. This worked for me. I used flashify.

I wouldn't recommend any A series of Lenovo's phone/tab. Those specs might be good ss budget products but their touch screen is getting sensitive and malfunction easily, no matter how careful you treat/care them. This make A series mostly garbage. Had A series smartphone and this tablets too but boths touchscreen going nuts 3 month after purchase. About this tablet, its was a good tablet, except the touch screen problems, cannot detect certain simcards, unable to detect memory card sometimes, and charging hole sometimes wont work (cant charge/usb connection). These silly problem turned this good tablet into garbage, atleast for me.

mine got stuck on levovo logo, but i hard reset it by pressing volume keys and power button and it was easy as galaxy android phones and it works fine now.

for the no sim card , from what i figured out it is the way they designed the slot it goes into. it locks in place, but there is a gap between the pins and the card, there not all the same height . so it doesn't make full contact. as sad as this sounds i fixed the problem by sliding a small piece of paper between the sim card and the cover. then it has enough force to make contact with the pins. havent had the problem since.

I am now using this tablet. It's been a year now since I bought this. And I could say that the performance is good. It's good tool for reading pdf. Camera is also okay, but not the front. Haha. it's also good for gaming. It's just you can't install too many because it's only 8GB. I don't have any problems about the battery. It's just you need to charge it 4 hours everyday. Of course if you play COC the whole day with charger plug, it will normally heat the battery. So, just let it charge first before using it. I also dropped this twice, but it's quite durable. Hahaha overall I'm happy with this device.

Just downgrade your firmware :) That's all. We have same problem then when the time I downgrade the firmware, it's already gone. The latest version of this device is bugged that's why when you click sometimes, it will hang right.

After I flashed a rom with sp flash tool I lost the IMEI and I had wifi error. I tried to fix the problems with almost all the tools but I didn't make it. Is there anybody that has got a nandroid backup, for lenovo a3300 hv or h, to provide it? I think this is the only solution to fix the destroyed NVRAM. I'll change the IMEI.

This is a good tablet with calling facility. Battery is good too. Mine lasts over two days with heavy usage. The only problem is with the camera. The camera quality is bad because of the low MP. And there seems to be no way to disable the shutter sound that plays at full volume (even in silent mode!) when capturing photos. Other than that, the tablet is pretty decent.

I have had this tablet for nearly a year and when I woke it up to use it, none of my apps were working, not even my settings, when it was working, I checked my internal storage finding out my tablet can't read it nor my apps, I tried restarting it 6 times and one app works, but not properly. Problems at begining.... Great tablet after the updates. The update to 4.4.2 has made this tab the best tab i have. The updates remove the lot of Bloat ware. Gives app permission control tool. Thats really awesome right? All display problems in the start were solved in the updates... Guys update the device. It makes this device great!

All the problems are fixed in the updates... The screen issue is fixed in the 4.4.2 update of android. On top of that they have given extra user advantage in the update by removing a lot of bloatware and given app permission control tool. Now this is a great device to have.

Recently got one. Nice tablet coping up with it's price tag. I usually use this tablet for watching movies, surfing web and playing games. Touch is not that responsive. Sound output is pretty good (not that good). Performance of above average (I can play airborne comfortably). Screen resolution is low, but screen illumination is very good (good for watching movies). Camera quality is very bad (both front and rear). Wi-Fi connectivity is quit good. Battery backup is very nice (can withstand 2 days on moderate use, without Sim card). It does well in the looks department. Fit and finish is superb. Overall a nice tablet for this price range. But if budget is not a problem, go for Xiaomi Mipad.

My A7-30 works fine for me..i bought it last january..and i updated it for the latest version after i update it my tab has a problem with 2-3 sec freeze screen.. But luckily i found how to downgrade it,and it is faster with no 2-3 sec freeze screen..it runs fast and smooth.. those who has problem with the touch screen just Downgrade it you will see it will run Faster and Smoother..

Have you tried pressing the hard reset button of it?you can see it besides sd card slot. It is like a small hole and you have to use a pin to press it.press it for 3 to 5 seconds,you should feel it clicked if you press it correct.after that,press the powef button to turn it on.

If ever it happens that it wont turn on after you put an sd or change sim just push the hard reset button using a pin.you can see it as a small hole beside sd card slot and sim card slot then turn it on again using the power button.the only problem with this tablet is the response of the screen after it is upgraded to kikat.i usually experiencing long presses even if i just pressed a key once and its really annoying if the long press will occur as you type a long text and you hit delete just once.but in terms of product durability,screen resolution,sound output and screen size,that's awesome knowing the cost of this device.

This Tablet is not good despite of its good specification. Only seven usage when i shut down the tablet it did not turn on again. Theres a lots of bugs specially in typing your messages using the auto correction which i found it difficult to deactivate. File Manager functions specially transferring data from computer to SD cards have some issues.

I'd just returned it to my provider this morning because it won't turn on. I did everything but gained nothing. It's still 3 months old. I am not agree with those people who says this is not good TAB, after 1 month continuous using with 3G & WI Fi, I fill this a very good tablet with low prise, battery backup is not very bad, you can use 1 day continuously after charging with 3G internet, speed is very good no hanging issue, using more than 80 apps but all are running smoothly, gaming is wonderful. Video & picture quality is too good no issue with brightness, if anybody wants to buy this please take it immediately. I am not agree with those people who says this is not good TAB, after 1 month continuous using with 3G & WI Fi, I fill this a very good tablet with low prise, battery backup is not very bad, you can use 1 day continuously after charging with 3G internet, speed is very good no hanging issue, using more than 80 apps but all are running smoothly, gaming is wonderful. Video & picture quality is too good no issue with brightness, if anybody wants to buy this please take it immediately. if your Tablet doesnt turn on just press the power buttom for a long time 2 times , maybe 1 minute each time, i did that and that worked for me :), and check ur hold buttom maybe you moved it

The tablet stood out like a tank for me...dropped twice but no harm occurred....a lot of users complained about tablet becoming dead...but I have never faced such issue, not a single time(may be good karma)....but there are few bugs in the firmware. The latest firmware of the Indian version had touch sensitivity issues and brightness becoming max at low battery... So after a bit googling found a Russian firmware for this model and flashed it and changed the language to English and BAM!!!! all glitches and bugs gone...even the Indian version of the firmware had little bit heating issues but the Russian had no such issues and playing FIFA15 for almost 2 hours a breeze...only thing I dislike is the Dolby equalizer totally produces artificial sound and switching off this app forcefully decreases volume drastically just to give an impression how good Dolby app is....and call quality is not good at all.

I had the first unit and encountered problem on turning it on, so i had a replacement since it was just 5 days old when it shut down and never wake up. Just activate developer options in your settings first. How? Just click on settings>about tablet>click on build number 7 times>go back to setting options then you'll find there's a new option there called Developer Options. Click on it and click on USB debugging to activate OTG capability. Enjoy! :)

Very quick processor no hang or stop issue like Samsung- I have consumed all the amount of the internal memory and the device still working as a new one Ability to open multi apps at one time smoothly with no slow effect on the performance and device speed. The Sound Is AMAZING due to the Dolby stereo speaker in the front side you can hear clear,loud , surrounded sound make the experience of listening to music or watching video is quite fantastic compared to rest of the device which had only one speaker and usually in the back side of the device. IPS screen the view quality of the screen is very good compared to the TFT screen which is very common in the other tablet available on the same price of Lenovo 3300. Long standing battery I am using the internet browser too much for hours also application contain video and sound as the same time the battery is so helpful and last for long time due to the high battery amber But what the the negative issues that I discovered is: Screen touch sensitivity "some times" is not accurate as the Samsung devices, that what I can feel it especially in the middle area of the screen I can rate the accuracy about 90% compared to Samsung screen sensitivity. I've been using Lenovo products since time immemorial. Their laptop range is top notch and has never failed me even once. However, when I excitedly purchased this tablet citing my long standing relationship with Lenovo, I can't say the same thing :( This tablet doesn't do well when subjected to heavy use. By "heavy use" I mean about 5 hours of browsing (for my e-business) along with watching about 3 movies a day on average when I am traveling long distance, which I do almost 4 times a week. The first problem I encountered was that the tablet would shut off and refuse to wake up. THis happened after 2 months. Lenovo's tech support channels recommended a solution but it didn't work. I found out the battery had expanded, after taking the unit apart, which in itself was an intifada. I had the battery changed. For 3 weeks or so, it ran smoothly and again- BAM! UNit refuses to "wake up" from sleep. HOwever, unlike the first time, the battery was in fine shape, and the "death" is not permanent- it just sort of wakes up whenever it feels like which is TOTALLY random :P To force a wakeup, I have to remove the casing, get to the battery, disconnect it and reconnect it. And the unit is SO poorly designed that getting access to the battery unit requires a lot of finesse on u r part and the unit is flimsily built adding to your woes. I don't know if this is related or not, but these nightmares started when I upgraded from jellybean to kitkat.....I doubt this is related, and could just be a coincidence. HOwever, the unit does have some redeeming features. It's a GREAT multimedia tablet. It plays most 1080p videos and all 720p videos seamlessly, if you use MXplayer. It has support capacity of up to 64GB in form of an expandable memory card. I was not too impressed with its gaming, but it didn't do too poorly in this department either..... All in all, I wouldn't recommend buying this piece unless you want to become a quasi technician or something.....its poorly designed and is generally unreliable. I am not the only one to face this problem w. this model.

For example the Subway Surf, candy crush and temple run, they all hang a little bit in the beginning however run smooth after around 30 seconds of initial play. I had this tablet more than a month ago. I got it on the Digi RM250 + RM50(prepaid sim) promotion. I checked the market price is about RM500 - RM599. I am using this tablet as my sub-pc, where I connect it with bluetooth keyboard, mouse, main app usage on office, teamviewer to access my home PC at real time. The battery life is really great, I can do my work all day without worry. Overall the performance is smooth, thanks to its Quacore processor. Apps and games all running fine. For me, I think this tablet has the value of RM400 - RM500. The CON about this device are: 1. TOUCH SCREEN - the screen sensitivity is really BAD, I hardly use the screen keyboard to do my work. If Lenovo could make a slight improvement on this area this device will be PREFECT! as an entry level device. 2. BUG? - I don't know why the lock screen indicate "EMERGENCY CALL" all the time. Same goes to other A3300, I bought 6 by the way, family bulk ordering :D. 3. LAUNCHER - I personally think the LENOVO UI, Lenovo Launcher, sucks. because All the app shortcuts will be crowded on the home screen and no APPLICATION button like I usually used. But this matter can be easily solved with the other launcher. 4. VOLUME BUTTON - If you want to tune down your sound volume, you have to turn it down while you running a music or video. You can't even go to setting to do that. This could be a be annoying sometime thought. Imagine you wanna play games during a long boring meeting, you can't turn down the volume before the game started to create noticeable sound. 5. DATA CONNECTION - Most of the time when you woke up your device, the data connection is either taking very long time to reconnect, or it doesn't connect to data at all. Item 2 to 5 just small con I wish to let everyone know, I am not fussy about those, but I am really hope there are way I could make the screen sensitivity goes better. I had tried to root the device and tune it with TSTune but not impressive enough. Oh ya! last but not least, CAMERA! Erm, I am not the photo guy so it doesn't really matter to me, but I would think the quality is quite fair. An AUTO FOCUS would be a BIG BONUS. but if they do comply that, then I think I won't get it for RM250+RM50 no more... LOL!

Already sent to service ctr, a week later the technician said nothing can be done but wait for updates since they wont replace with a different tab (software related they say). Many updates later, and still same problem. Problems with anything related to sim, whether calls or sms and sometime whatsup too. There same but the a3300 gv are 3g and a3300 hv are 3.5g with a3300 hv model are more pricy that a3300 gv. Both model is with android 4.4 but hv model have 1.2mp front camera and 2mp on rear camera. The a3300 gv have the same 2mp rear camera but 0.3mp front camera. How I know I ask Lenovo Malaysia for the spec of this two model. So duhas if I were you I buy hv type tq

This model have 3 variations with the first is 2g with android 4.2 and rear 2mp camera. The second model is 3g with android 4.4 and 3mp rear camera. The last is the a3300t model 3g or 3.5g with android 4.4 and rear 5mp camera. I bought second model of a3300 with preloaded kitkat 4.4 and gsmarena post the first model. So don't be confused tq

great phone, great gaming experience with this one, also the dolby is a great extra feature. The performance is great. The portable wifi maker is good. and the wifi signal catching is good. The screen is just okay, because it's still too bright at the dimmest setting, and it's not too bright at the brightest setting. motion control is a bit bad, I get a hard time when playing highway sprinter. And the screen itself doesn't really sensitive. But it's amazing compared to the cost. 4,1/5 stars

ok , bought this tab around 1 week already . and wat i can say is . superb with such price .. RM 350 .. - original lenovo come with 4.4.2 android inside the box - battery just good if play games and 3g - feel nice at the back cover - gaming is good...real racing 3 default setting (high) , has no problem } - support 3g and calls - just that some apps cant even move to micro sd if u didnt root it.. - sound really loud due to dual speaker , with Dobly surround sofware included So all i can say is...totally worth for my budget :D

Yup. Definitely is 3.5G. Browsing internet faster than my current S3. Before i buy i check with Digi and they say this black color tablet is special edition. It come with 3.5G frequency antenna.

I get it tesco extra Penang which Digi telecom give promotion. Overall is OK for now. But it do happen to mine unit which is screen out of sudden become white line and box. Small sick for this cheap tablet. Receiving signal stronger than my s3.

I just sign it via Digi Telcom Malaysia and this tablet have 3.5G support. Browsing and download is fast. Just can't move the apps to sd card. The rest all perform well. Cost me only RM250/each.

Dear Friends, Please do not buy Lenovo A7-30. I have purchased this tablet but there are certain drawbacks. The first and the most important is IT DOES NOT SUPPORT DONGLE THROUGH OTG CABLE. YOU CANNOT RUN 3G INTERNET ON THIS DEVICE. THE ONLY OPTION IS WI-FI. Second is touch is not very smooth. sometimes the screen gets turn black or white while calling. *********** Probable solution to screen turning white problem ************** Guys, While ideally you should get a replacement in case of sreen turning white problem. In case not. I have figured out a solution. It worked for me to n extent so worth a try. Remove the sim and then use it only as a tablet. Most probably the screen problem will go away. You can use watsapp n all...as u wud have registered using sim ...n then remove the sim.

Not worth for money. Screen turns black and then a white flash light appears while the operations vil b running normally behind this light but v are unable to perform any task. This problem popped up within 10days of buying the tab. Irritating at times.

no way to update a 2g tab to 3g...it's a 2g receiver...anyway it does support 3g dongle...sign 3g internet plan with any telco then connector the broadband dongle to the tab using a dongle adaptor...

@ebi indnsia : NO 3G as far as i know..only call function and 2G. You have to use WIFI if you want an internet connection.

@mizubond : I tried ASPHALT 8..for medium graphic its no lag..but in high graphic its a little bit slow..no too disturbing and the difference is very small. Thats right! there is no information about this tablet in LENOVO official website..but i found a PDF manual book and download it before i bought this tablet..and i also got official warranty, so i have no worries.

@mizubond : Games are great in this tablet. I can play Dead Trigger with HIGH detail and ROBOCOP also FRONTLINE 2 with no lags. ANTUTU got 17.500 something points.

Very affordable tablet with less than 140 USD you got quad core processor.1 GB ram.8 GB internal. And great performance. Antutu benchmark test got 17500 point. You can also make phone call on this tablet but it doesn't have 3G connectivity.
