My problem with lenovo tablet s6000H is the internal memory is only 4 gb, while the phone storage as 64 gb with no benefit. How can I use the phone storage as a primary storage or internal memory.?

Hi Ricardo, I do have Lenovo S6000-H. But I still have Android 4.2.2. I checked for the update (Settings-> About Tablet->System Updates). It checks for the version and says I've the latest version i.e. 4.2.2. This is not true, as latest Android is Marshmallow. I use wifi for the internet. Can you share how did you updated Android and what is your current version?

I have had my lenova IdeaTab S6000-h for over 3 years. It still works great, the battery is still excellent in that I can be online still for about 5 hours. The android system just upgraded...I did that through the settings menu. No problems with apps or downloading. Holds 32Gb of internal storage, but my external micro sd card holds a 64Gb micro sd card and that gives me ample storage. All around...a fab unit.

I got one for my son for school, what started of as a great investment turned to n disaster after 1 year (just out of warranty), the battery stopped charging and because Lenovo stopped manufacturing this module, this module's no-longer survivable as there are no replacement parts available. make sure that when you purchase this product that you are aware of what the warranty cover and if it is still a serviceable product or not.

The problem with most complaints with this device is the lack of self taught knowledge of electronics and navigation through the device purchased. Research what you are about to buy then purchase with an educated decision, don't purchase and then moan about what you have bought!!!

been using it for 2 years, dropped a few times, still rock solid. shortcoming is the 1g ram and the one and only software upgrade. still, it serves both business and entertainment purpose well. bought it for $300, comes with a bluetooth keyboard, definitely best deal ever.

Turn ur tab off first . Then insert your sim card if it does not inserted yet and then turn it on again . Thats it ! It'll work .

Hi there! Cut off your internet connection, back-up your files to a SD card and do a factory reset. Scan the SD card into a computer to make sure it is clean! And pay attention to the apps that you will restore from your google account. Instal Avast Mobile Security & Antivirus (if you Symantec subscription has expired) and instal third party apps ONLY if you trust the publisher! Good luck!

I got a S6000H for about 8 months now and it worked perfect until recently, when I caught a virus or trojan that blocks my whole system. it tells me that I had tried to download porn, which I not did. To release it I should pay a fine of 100 Euros and enter the number of the fine card in a place provided. I brought the tablet to a service centre who told me that I got a trojan, which they could remove. They did it and it cost me 25 Euros. But it kept coming back and I paid another 25 Euros to have it removed. After only 1 day it is back again. Is there any way I can remove it myself. I cannot enter the tablet as the trojan blocks it. I connected it to a laptop and can read it contents but cannot find a trojan. What can I do, I'm desperate

I am very happy with my Lenova, but now it wonr read my sim. It was working fine until a month ago being on holiday I tried to take a picture but it was completely dead. Tried to turn it off, but nothing happened. Took the sim out, ater a while it turned off and when tuning it on I insertd the sim card again and it keeps on saying cannot rad sim. It have good battery life in browsing and movie . in front Camera too poor. I cant see any thing in skype call with out light. Touch was average. I had this tablet about six months ago, and i must say it has been impressive, even though some details need to be enhanced. As many has mentioned, the battery is really powerful, and can last up to two days with me even though i havea kid who plays with it few hours a day, sometimes with the many open applications it laggs, however, once they are closed its back to normal. I have almost tried every feature in this tablet including streaming out through hdmi to a projector and tv, testing screen sensitivity to handwriting, colors, volume, gps,..etc, and it was almost up to every challeng. Things that need to be enhanced are simply wireless direct connect does not work normally, so you have to install an app to direct connect to other android devices. Sometimes during presentations the screen turns off if you are idle for over 5 minutes, so you have to wake it up every now and then. You certainly cannot make phone calls, but with 3G who needs that ? Viber, kakao talk, skype, and many others serve you really well, and believe it or not with this device the voice is always clear and the connection is mostly strong. One minor pitfall is that you cannot sort apps alphabitically using the lenovo UI, so if you need apps to be sorted you have to install a new UI or do that manually with every app you install. After all, considering all the pros and cons, i believe this tablet worth more than what you pay for, it served me wonderfully so far, good job Lenovo !

Insert the sim card while the device is Off. For those if you trying to install whatsapp, download the apk from the following link. Make sure to select "Unknown Sources" option under Security settings.Once installed wait for it to get activated. It will fail. THen put the code that you received as sms or get a call.

I have got a Mini USB OTG cable for my S6000. USB pendrive works on it fine, but my TATA USB Dongle is not working on it. The dongle is detected by the machine as the light flashes on the dongle, but nothing shows up on the tablet. can anyone help me out??

You need to have a "Powered USB hub". Which means a USB hub with power adapter that provides 500mA power to each port. Using passive hub (without power adapter) drains high ampere from device's usb-port & thus causing troubles.

Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 isn't bad at all!I love this new member of the IdeaTab family.At first,I was hesitant because specs may not be as amazing at it's flagship tabs but when I bought one from merimobiles.com, the tablet works smoothly without any lags.Design is comfy to work with and of course,I got at best price. :)

Really impressive for the money. Fluid and responsive, WiFi good over long distance. Feels flimsier than say an ipad, but not by much - good spec and good value.
