I too came up with the same fix for my Lenovo K8 note. Surprisingly, cooling starts the phone and it works for some time, say about 6 hours, depending on the weather. So it is actually an overheating issue.

My Lenovo K8 Note was working fine 2 weeks ago and now it automatically turn off whenever I open multiple applications. It get worst as it will turn off even when somebody is calling or even texting. I have the phone for 20 months now with oreo update in it. Not sure when exactly started but it constantly rebooting now. I have done factory reset but still the same issue. Is lenovo had the issue resolved as I have read a lot are experiencing the same issue.

Go to Lenovo forum where i have posted photos, link below SOLVED SOLVED SOLVED SUCCESS SUCCESS SUCCESS IT IS 100% WORKING NOW, THE PROBLEM OF RESTARTING AND BOOT LOOP HAS GONE COMPLETELY! To all of my fellow Lenovo K8 note users if you are facing with the problem of boot loop, freezing and constant restarting of your phone then its the problem with the motherboard and not the Oreo update. Yesterday i was able to used the phone temporarily by cooling it in the refrigerator that gave me the hint that there is some loose connection or dry solder due to which the phone was not working. Mainly this loose connection must have happened due to over heating of Media Tek X23 CPU. So i decided to do the rebalding soldering of the motherboard. Now the right way to do it is using the Hot Air Station, but if you dont have it then you can even bake the motherboard in oven. Follow the steps below 1) Carefully open the back and disconnecte the flex cables for Battery, volume button, LCD and Daughter USB charge boards (Watch some Youtube Videos Online) 2) Unscrew the Motherboard and take it out from the casing. 3) Remove the metal sheilds covering the CPU, there will be 4 sheilds but only 2 of them are removable, the other 2 are soldered to the motherboard so dont try to remove it if you dont have Hot Air Station. 4) Heat the IC underneath the shields with Hot Air Station, If you dont have Hot Air station then put the mother board on a ceramic or non conductive plate and then place it inside the Oven for Baking. !!!! WARNING DO NOTMICROWAVE IT !!!! You need to use the setting of your Oven similar to what you would use for Bakin breads. 5) The Oven should be Pre heated to 230 Celcuis before you put the motherboard. 6) Set the timer to 10 to 15 minutes and let it bake 7) Once the baking time is over, then let the Motherboard cool inside the oven untill is cool to touch. 8) Put Heat sink compound on top of the IC/CPU and Metal Sheild plates 9) Reassemble everything and test if it works. 10) Dont forget to give my reply a like if it works for you, All the Best!!! I have attached some photos of the motherboard with some instructions

The problem of restarting is not with Oreo update. Its an hardware issue with the motherboard. It just happened that the problem surfaced to all K8 note users at the same time when the Oreo update was released. The issue is with the Media Tek X23 SOC used inside the phone which over heats. Due to continuous heating and after using the phone for about 15 to 16 months the SOCs thermal sensors fail and due to that the phone freezes and goes into boot loop. The heating is mainly because of the Mali T880 MP4 GPU inside this Media Tek X23. You can confirm this and actually use your phone temporarily by cooling it down. The method i used is by putting your phone inside refrigerator for 10 mins and then turn it ON. You will be surprised that it boots into home screen and you can actually use the phone for some time. It doesn't matter which operating system you have currently installed, works both on Android Oreo & Nougat. After keeping it inside the refrigerator for 10 mins take it out and keep the phone on an Ice pack so that it continuous to stays cool even after been taken from the refirgerator. Install app CPUz and go to thermals, there you will see that all the sensors are OFF and there would be no readings. Surprisingly the phone still functions absolutely like normal till you have kept it on the ice pack and you can even watch Youtube or play games. The moment you take it away from the ice pack it will freeze and restart within a minute.

Generally, a good phone. One feels good to hold it. The product came with a fast charger. I have been using it since late October 2018. However, there seems to be a serious software problem. Within three months of my buying it, it became disorderly and whenever I put it in my pocket or in a computer bag, it would restart itself endlessly. That was funny behavior. Luckily, at the time, Lenovo had a service center for their mobile phones near my home at Okhla Industrial Area in New Delhi, so got it repaired within warranty. That remedy was short-lived, though. In July 2019, my phone has again started the same disorderly behavior of restarting itself when put in a pocket or a computer bag. And, alas, Lenovo does not have a mobile phone warranty service center in South Delhi anymore. I think Lenovo should seriously take this feedback and strengthen the quality of their products.

I have been using Lenovo K8 for the last 2 years. I was pretty happy with the performance. Battery life wont last a full day if you are online through out. Camera is good for the money. Unfortunately this phone started to show booting issues and when reported to the service centre, they mentioned it as a frequent complaint of this set and the remedy is nothing short of a board replacement which will cost almost half of the money I spent to buy it. If such an instrument gets a board complaint in this short time I would suggest prospective buyers to think of other viable options. To be frank, until the last day, I was pretty happy with its performance, but feels sorry to know that such a fatal complaint is quite common.

After use of 6 months, lenovo k8 note restarting many times a day. But I just ignored and started using and then battery backup is down atleast full charging is not coming one day. Just 2 days back there is a new update came and I installed from then on its keep on restarting and today finally it died(not charging, not switching on). After reading so many blogs I am thinking should not go to Lenovo service center because definitely they will charge some 5000 to 14000 rupees and funny part is they will give warranty only for 6 months because I already experienced.

I have used this phone since a week. Conclusion: 'Worth its price" Read full review. The rear camera is not on par with others in its price range but other than the camera i do not have any issues with this phone yet! Hopefully in the next ANDROID UPDATE, THE CAMERA QUALITY MAY IMPROVE FURTHERMORE THEY SHOULD INCLUDE A 60FPS MODE OF VIDEO RECORDING. The battery timing is impressive for Lenovo, after the Oreo update i tested especially the battery and i managed to drain out a whooping 9+ hours on screen time with medium brightness, wifi on, location on, and running a full hd video in loop till the phone died. ALL I ASK FROM LENOVO IS TO IMPROVE THE CAMERA QUALITY ALONG WITH ADDING A 60FPS VIDEO RECORDING MODE AND THIS PHONE WOULD BE A WELL WORTH ITS PRICE.

Please don't buy this phone or any other phone from Lenovo. Why? Because any phone is more than the sum of it's hardware parts and Lenovo software team have proven to be completely incompetent. I brought this phone in January thinking about stock Android. The update to Android 8.0 was extremely late for a phone that was supposed to have Stock Android experience. Early last month (October), i received a software update which made phone completely unusable. The phone simply keeps switching off repeatedly and can't be used. What's more, the update cannot be reversed to previous working version. The service center technicians are incapable of even reinstalling a working software. So my phone is unusable for nearly a month and a half, and their incompetent software team is not expected to issue any update for next 15 days. As I said, never buy any phone from Lenovo, or Motorola (which, by the way, is the same company).

The front glass is easioy prone to shatter even though itis gorilla glass 3. This may be due to the weight. Also battery backup is not good even having a 4000mah due to the processor being 20nm what we saw in 2014 helio x10 phones. It also heats up during charging. Even if you compare nominal performance it is slower than Redmi Note 2 (helio x10) due to A53 cores being clocked substantially lower at 1.4Ghz compared to 2Ghz. It is not at all worth buy in 2018.

Worst customer service and worst brand I've ever experienced yet. My handset viz. Lenovo K8 Note had a bend and so its motherboard crashed. I don't even remember when I dropped my phone. I guess 7-8 months before. But that's not the reason for this shitty happening after 8 months. Despite of being under warranty these nuts charged Rs. 220 for checking and also ruined my screen guard worth Rs. 250 which I think was a fraudulent activity as they had informed me about the data getting erased but nothing happened such. The main reason for the defect of my phone is the lowest build quality. In one year the phone's motherboard got crashed. I WOULD REQUEST TO THE LENOVO COMPANY NEVER FOOL YOUR CUSTOMERS BY PROVIDING SUCH LOW QUALITY OF HANDSETS. disadvantage 1) network issue data connection on off automatically 2) camera clarity not good at all.. 3) when u switch off your phone and restart the phone again your fingerprint scanner not working for few seconds 4) booting system is low...! it's takes 30 or 35 seconds during Start.. 5) fake cores ( decacores) it's have 10 cores in mobile but in it's reality it's have 4 cores or 8 cores may be.. 6) its not batter than Snapdragon processor ...!its totally disappointed me... i waste my 13k for this phone. aDvantages____ 1) good battery life ... 2) gaming experience good 3) back camera good fronts useless sucks 4) helio x23 processor 6)having turbo charger over all decision is DONT BUY THIS PHONE..!

This phone is highly underrated. We are getting the latest security updates (July 2018 currently) on this phone and phone works flawlessly. Almost an year with this phone and its speed is amazingly fast and there are hardly any hanging issues. Yes battery is above average for 4000 mah but it's better than the most of the phones out in market. It's camera too is quite underrated. It clicks great photos only con being bokeh effect not so great. Overall quite satisfied with phone. Nothing much to complain. Do you guys agree?

After using this phone for a month or so, I realize that I actually downgraded from Lenovo K4 note to Lenovo K8 Note. Why is it that the newer versions of phones be deprecated with smart features existing in older phones ?? All the 'Feature phone' options from K4 are missing in K8 - that's pathetic. Inbetween acquisitions (Moto & Lenovo), why is that you want to change Lenovo phone UI to use the Moto ?? That's very disappointing. I'm a Lenovo fan for UI and I go for Lenovo phone. If I were Moto fan I would go for Moto phone. Moto UI is very rigid and no options to change the style. For ex. the Video files are displyed in list format, not a preview big images as in Lenovo K4. Please please Lenovo consider this. Now I'm planning to change phone to other. Levnovo can you please list out what all features have to taken out from K4 to K8 ?? This is very disappointing experience. You say the turbo charger, charge phone in few mins... but even after 1/2 hr of charging I see only 4-5 % increase at times !!

Guys I had all the heating and battery draining issue post the update I received. I logged a complaint with support.lenovo.com with my IMEI numbers and they build up a MAY 2018 patch for phone and pushed it OTA... since then my battery does work for >24 hours on a moderate usage and ~20 hours on heavy usage... phone never lags and has no issues... Just bluetooth has some tantrums... I will raise bluetooth issue with Lenovo but to me thats manageable.. So I do recommend this phone but you may need to log complaint and get an OTA patch. Key is: Security patch level has to be May 5 2018 for phone to work fine

Please don't buy this mobile. It's battery is very pathetic. It's showing 4000 MAH battery but it's work like 2000MAH battery. I purchased it yesterday and till 1&1/2 day I need to charge 3 time. Even head phone not providing where as other outsider headphone on economy range are not working like company provided headphone works. Even Paytm has chitted with me. I ordered 64 GB and gave me 32 GB and after numeral communication nobody is responding. Just rejected my return request whereas it has clearly mentioned 10 days return policy. Paytm take money in advance and now we are helpless. It's Chinese company and request all of you not to purchase from Paytm. It's not trusted like Amazon or Flipkart or some other site.

Got this phone in June 2018 due to its very nice features and battery of 4000mAh (and it's on sale). Features are all good but the battery sucks. You need to keep your charger always near you as this phone doesn't last a day. Using other charger than the one included in the box will charge your phone the whole day before it gets fully charged. Turbo charging is okay but still slow as it takes around 3 hours to fully charge the phone. My previous Samsung J7 Prime (with only 3300 mAh) can last the whole day. What is the use of boasting with 4000 mAh if it would last only for few hours? So despite the good features, i'm really disappointed as I need to keep it charged always as I am afraid that it would be drained when I need it the most.

Don't know why people complaining so much over the phone. Lenovo as promised has provided latest android security updates and android oreo. Yes Oreo had its problems but they also provided a fix. And just to remind all of you, it's not just lenovo k8 note which faced problems after Oreo OTA updates. Many devices have faced the same after receiving Oreo update. I am using this phone since 10 months and the phone works flawlessly. No hangs, Camera is really good, it's fast, and fair enough battery performance. I don't know what else someone needs in the phone and why guys are crying over it. The phone is quite underrated just because it uses Mediatek SoC. I am very happy with the phone's performance.

Regarding this. When I was in roaming it was not showing any updates. But as soon I connected to wifi I got update notification. But please dont hurry to make update. The version you are having right now is more stable that the update. Think before you update, or wait and read the comments here to get exact idea.

Good news... After getting terrified due to many bugs like device overheating, rapid battery draining etc. in the recent Oreo upgrade got an update patch yesterday (Android security patch level May 5, 2018). After installing it, the heating problem almost seems to have vanished. Secondly, battery draining too has slowed down. Earlier without this recent patch in place, I used to experience a total battery drain in 6-7 hours. On the contrary, after installing the latest patch yesterday 1800 HRS am still left with 33% battery. The patch installation was done while the charge showed to be 93% and coincidentally I has to use WhatsApp and youtube more often for some purpose in the last 18 hours. Thanks Lenovo team for the good work and not letting down. This is not a forwarded message. I own it.

I have received the notifications in my phone asking for System Update. After the system update, my phone was having an issue of Battery -quick drain (charge is not lasting for more than an hour), Phone is not getting charged soon, phone is very HOT (Unable to Take calls), Data usage is not so easy... When i checked in Lenovo Service Center, they intimated that Software released was an error. New System update will be released, then only issue will get resolved. its almost a month, there is no updated system software released. I am still having an issue. Unable to Use my Phone.

It's been a month since I got the Oreo update and my phone heats up like anything... In short I jus cannot use d phone coz of heating issues, battery problem, apps not working... I was told that within a week it ll b resolved. Have visited service centre thrice n waited for hours there n not get any solution to this. Have called service centre zillion times n not get any answer from them n when ll b d issue get resolved.. M surprised tht Lenovo has such bad after sales service... Neither d service centre nor the call centre could help me with this... They just backed out when I asked for help n solution for d same... They kept telling me to wait for a week n it's been a month n they still ask me to wait for few more days for d next update... Yet not sure how many days it ll take they r jus not providing with any proper answer.. This has been d worst ever experience with a smartphone till date in my life... We can always nit pick - there's no phone no matter how expensive that we cannot find some fault or the other - i don't understand some of the comments here - i've been using it regularly and it works great - of course if You want You can always find faults, but overall, it works just fine - love certain features like the dedicated music button which can be re-assigned to other task like turning flashlight on and off - the dolby atmos can really give a kick to the overall projection of the Sound through the speakers - etc.etc. it's a full paisa vasool value for money phone with premium specs under Rs.13.000/-. Basically it has just about everything on it, included dedicated slot for SD card upto 256 GB. By God's Grace i have the 4 GB / 64 GB version and i really love it. Highly recommended. SaiRama

Worst choice I made was to go from k4 to k6, lots and I mean LOTS of missing features, better hardware definitely, but software sucks big time! Screen Casting doesn't work at all (tried 2 different devices), no data transfer counter, LED is mono color, contacts management very poor, countless features in k4 missing in k8 the list is too long to fit in here!

They told me that they are waiting for the company approval whether they would repair it or not. I am very disappointed with the service center people. I am feeling cheated. Don't worry if your phone's battery is draining very fast (also excessive heating) after updating to Oreo. After 7-10 days it will be back to normal. Actually even lenovo had warned that there will be temporary shortened battery life after updating to Oreo. My phone is back to normal now after 7-8 days.

Further to my above post, here's an addition. Use the original charger that came with the phone. I used to use MotoG5 S Plus charger earlier. However tried the original charger and amazingly noted that it charges at almost 1% per minute. A 100% battery charging took 1 hour 40 minutes. Cool. The turbo charging is really 'Turbo'. And charging while the device is switched off (if possible) is found to make good difference of cutting down the total charging time. The device is absolutely fine. But sometimes I feel it's getting hotter than before the Oreo update. Hope Lenovo looks into this. Thanks. Good luck.

It will take around 2 and half hour after that power on and in battery setting turn on power optimization and in that go to power intensive apps and opetime all running apps. I updated my device day before yesterday and faced quick battery draining and device heating issue. As advised by someone here I did try something and it worked absolutely fine for me. After you are done with the update let the battery drain to zero while you are using it normally. The device switches off obviously. Start charging that and don't disconnect charger till you see the 100% mark. The phone may thereafter be put in operation. For me, the draining time has in fact decreased than the one before updating. Too good. The heating issue too seems to have waned off. Cool. And in my case, charging from 0% to 100% took exactly 2 hours 40 minutes. This is good phone. Good luck friends.

People who are complaining about update, one suggestion - Never update over mobile data. Always use Wifi with high net speed. It's your fault that you have downloaded using jio/Airtel internet. 1)Its been around ten days since I bought this phone and am having hanging issues with this phone, it's been four times already the launcher wouldn't respond and I had to wait for more than 10 minutes for the phone to turn on and still I had to restart the phone or it won't work.. 2) the phone has limited options, doesn't provide options like screenshot or silent mode and you have to tap the low volume button all the way to keep the phone in silent mode. 3) does not have a system note app which I find it essential for every phone these days. 4) the background apps keeps on running all the time even after you lock the screen for which I suppose must be the reason behind hanging issue ass too many apps working at a time slows the system..automatic turning off the background apps must be a set. Please resolve these at the earliest

I stopped using huawei and Nokia phones because of combo. I like dedicated memory and sim slots. Only Nokia 3 and 5 have the rest all hybrids. Same as huawei , I stopped loving them after they adopted the hybrids too. I have 2 sims and a memory card I have for years by choice, no manufacturer is going to change that unless they invent a better alternative to the phone as we know it.

When headphones are inserted and a music clip is played (even ringtones...) we get to hear sound from headphones as well as handset. Can somebody advise? Not a good phone. Many bugs includes low signal for 2nd sim, alarm not working when phone is off, does not support galileo although chipset is capable, volte signal issue and only supported for specific operators, no band 41 support, battery drain quickly, helio x23 deca core processor is not performing like helio x10 which is octacore. Oreo update is required with all these fixes otherwise prefer Redmi.

Lenovo K8.....in terms of audio streaming and multimedia tasking is way better than Honor 9 lite As Honor has put kirin 659 SoC in it which is slightly on the weaker side....i mean to say thats way much like Snapdragon 625 as it is also a chipset which runs on Octa core 2ghz A-53 cores but.....when it comes to gaming....the kirin 655 is not able deliver a smooth experience.....the games run lag-free but..there are frame drops......Better you go for Lenovo k8 if your priority is performance.......cause it has a huge 10 core processor and Dolby Atmos speakers....hence..Multimedia experience would be fast..lag free and amazing

I've been using Lenovo K8 Note for a couple of months now.Pros: Pretty decent phone for gaming. In Rules of Survival where the mic and speakers is widely used, battery last more or less 6 hours straight Running on high quality.If i only play Mobile Legends the whole way it would last 8hrs. Turbo charging from only 15% battery takes a bit more than 2 hrs. Dolby Atmos gives a nice dash of sound quality on music,movies and games. Cons: Camera begs for a software update. Cannot cast screen. haven't tried google cast thou. hope it works. Others: Heating is manageable "I've held hotter devices". Signal is fine here in Phillippines... I will post again if i discover new things about this device. Chow~

Screen unlocking issue: Often while when I try to unlock the device using the fingerprint scanner, the device wants me to enter the pin instead to enable the fingerprint scanner. This is happening on daily basis and would like to see this issue fixed. Notification LED issue: The notification LED works only for text messages (Android messager) and outlook mails. Sometimes for missed calls (not always). Other than this, no notification LED for Social media apps such as Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, hike or even Google Hangouts. Do any of you guys have the same issue?

Last four month am using it.. Often finding network signal issue its drops frequently while using mobile data. Also with dual sim both gone's for a task on mobility. After power cycling or remove/adding sims wouldn't helps you .. While roaming in big cities also drops in signal :( (Rating: 1.5/5 )

Battery: I'm a power user. I get about 6hr of screen on time. Using social media, image editing, YouTube, gaming and texting, my overall stand by time is about 21 hrs. I'm pretty happy with this battery life. Camera: In perfect light conditions, the pictures are really good. Good color reproduction, contrast and saturation. If you want a perfect picture, you have to use the manual or the professional mode. Low light performance is ok. From camera is bonkers. Totally love it. Wish it could have been a wide angle lens. The secondary depth sensor needs working on. Lenovo is yet to give camera update since the last. But in perfect condition, the bokeh works pretty well. Not perfect though.

First of all price now is 13k and not 12k... Even mi A1 price has dripped by 2k. Does it mean even that phone is a failure ? 1. Lesser network bars doesn't mean that there is no network or there is less network. It will work the same with even 1 network bar. It all depends on the frequency. Different phones will show different network bars for the same sim. 2. Battery back up is almost 8 hours screen on time. What else you want ? I've compared with my brother's redmi note 4. Lenovo K8 note gives only 30 minutes lesser screen on time that redmi note 4. That's more than sufficient. 3. It's not too heavy. Redmi note weighs 155 g and Lenovo k8 note weighs 170g. What difference will 15 grams do ? Also phone's weight is usually listed in specification. You should have checked and bought it. 4. Bokeh is not a complete failure. Yes it's not good in artificial lighting. But bokeh effect is good in well lit conditions. It's the same with every phone including honor 7x.

The phone is quite underrated just because it has MediaTek chipset. But Helio x23 is a really fast processor. There are no hangs, lags whatsoever. Phone works flawlessly. It's only disadvantage I can think of is its dual camera set up.

The redmi phones have their own User Interface whereas this great phone works on stock Android! You can always download apps which can help​ you with all the things that have mentioned however the redmi UI slows down the phone considerably and doesn't give you the original Android feel. I hope Lenovo do not shift back to their old VIBE UI. I have a Lenovo K8 note 4Gb and would suggest this phone to anyone who is looking for a decent phone in low budget.

Really great phone, clean and neat! The screen is sharp, quite big and it has a really nice slippery coating. Screen downside might only be that raindrops can activate screen easily. The camera works perfectly, depth embedded system also works well while taking macro photos. Some downsides might come from software. Contacts can be saved only to mail account, there is no phone profile option, no offline music player. On the other hand, 3rd party players (I'm using Pulsar) works great on it, even music play button reacts with Pulsar. Dolby sound system is just amazing! Using it with 2 sims + SD card, rock'n network, FB and Tinder in everyday life, mail and active calling at work, eats just about 50% of battery a day. Last words ... the best phone on the market!

Check your mobile when plug-in it will show turbo charger is connected, if it not shown plug ur mobile in single main socket (dont use junction box), because my mobile is also did like this, i used to charge like this method.

There must be some problem with your device. It charges from 0-90 in 90 minutes and takes around 30-40 minutes to charge from 90-100. So totally around 2 hours.

Happened with me once when I kept the phone for charging for more than 4 hours. I think the phone is designed such that it shouldn't be overcharged and if it is overcharged then it shuts itself off. Though the battery won't be affected if u charge the phone whole night but the phone gets heated up a bit while charging. Why do u want ur phone to heat up all night (which is not good for phone's durability). Why do u charge it whole night if the phone can be charged in just 2 hours?

The phone doesn't lag at all. The fingerprint sensor is super quick to unlock the phone. The phone heats up little while charging as well as while using it. Also the battery backup is not that great. You can see it draining quickly while using it. Battery backup is good only on stand-by mode. Stock Android is not that great as you don't have much option to customise it though its simple to use. Bluetooth connectivity to Wireless devices are not great in Stock Android. I had Intex Aqua S7 with stock Android and it had same problem. Needed to restart the phone to get the full functionality of the wireless earphones like music and voice call. Though so far I had not restarted this phone but it does take time to connect. While same wireless devices connects very quickly with iPad and Redmi Note 3. This could be a problem with the Stock Android. The Dual Camera is worth. Though not that perfect but works very well in most of the situations. Front camera is average even though its 13mp. Most of the time the pics are blur.

How to do Hard reset- 1. Remove your Gmail/Google account from phone. 2. Switch off your phone. 3. After switch off, press power+ volume down together. 4. Go to eMMC by volume down button (Chinese things written you found) 5. Press OK by power button. After some time your phone get hard reset. Later things you can easily do....

Dolby music is very fine ,but when used on head phone sound quality comes down. Brightness is too poor compared to OPPO, SAMSUNG, HTC. Fewer network bars doesn't mean that network signal is low. It depends on the cell station of the network. It doesn't matter how many network bars you get to see in the phone. Even if it's fluctuating it will work just fine. Different phones are designed to receive signals differently. It will have no effect on calling performance.

I don't understand why there are so many complaints regarding the phone. Yes there was battery drain issue earlier but after the recent update battery is not draining at all. I'm getting 1.5 days back up with medium to heavy usage. What more do you want ? And use the Dolby Atmos in 'Movie' mode(check in the app). I'm getting excellent surround effect and there is nothing to complain.

Hi, You can get the battery percentage. Please press and hold the Setting(gear) icon on the status bar for few seconds. This will unlock a new setting called System UI Tuner towards the bottom of the Settings. In System UI Tuner , there is menu called Status Bar where you will get the option of Battery which can be changed to 'Always show percentage'. Hope this information is helpful

K8 Plus is a good phone.. I am using Redmi Note 4 also at same time but According to my view Note 4 is better in performance camera is also good. Battery backup is much better then K8. Very smooth phone . 2 days backup. K8 is weak in comparison of Note4. Only Gorilla Glass & Camera is better . Duel camera setup is just for show, you should go with Note 4.

Dolby Atmos doesn't mean the volume of the sound should be high. Dolby Atmos gives better sound QUALITY( Not Volume) and surround effect. Buy some good quality earphones and then you will be able notice the difference. The earphones which support ur k3 note might be outdated.

Processor in k8 plus is more optimised. P25 in K8 plus uses only 1 core at a time whereas Helio x23 in k8 note uses 4 cores at a time. But x23 is a more powerful processor. That's why the battery performance is better in k8 plus. Also k8 plus is a 5.2 inch phone. K8 note is 5.5 inch phone. Larger screen size means battery usage to power the screen is comparatively more.

It is a 4000 milliamp hour battery. Even with turbo charging it MUST still take around 100 mins for a full charge. I'm saying this because I use the K8 note and it charges within 100 mins from 0% to 100%.

There are some settings in Dolby Atmos app where u can adjust the volume and surrond effect according to ur desire. You must know how to use Dolby Atmos rather than complaining. Just turning on Dolby Atmos won't give u great sound effect. You must open the Dolby Atmos app and do minor tweaks. Then listen , its just awesome.

To all those who are complaining of battery drain keep your phone in battery saver mode especially overnight. In battery saver mode you will receive all your WhatsApp, hike notifications. Only email, Gmail notification won't come. You can open those apps and check yourself. If you don't want the battery to drain you must keep the phone in battery saver mode. I keep my phone in battery saver mode before sleeping. It drops only 1 or 2% overnight.

I order the PHN k8 note not really satisfied.i am very much disappointed with the performace.The big problem with my PHN is it is not showing any sign when rings.yes u r correct it is only rings it is not showing any number.Phn may be in whatever mode it is only rings.To check I have to go to Phn menu and I have to check return call menu then only I can able to who is calling up.other then that I have also complained but I didn't got any response from Lenovo too....So better avoid unnecessary problem.Pls buy android phn don't go for Lenovo...

Don't buy Lenovo K8 note. I am Lenovo user since 5-6 years. This is worst model. Failed in Battery charging time and immediately discharge. Some applications not easy to handle. Heating problem Contacts are access easily and always hangs in contacts We can not send messages easily it takes lot of time for the contact to appear on screen. Although my most of memory is empty. Hello guys. Those who worry about battery percentage not available pls read this. Actually android 7 has these features and they have been hidden. So jus drop down the notification from top and u ll see the settings symbol. Now press and hold the setting symbol for about 5 to ten seconds. While U press and hold u can see the symbol is jus rotating. Now leave it aft 5 to 10 seconds, u ll get a msg as congrats system ui tuner is enabled. Now go to setting menu and go to the last u ll find system ui tuner. There u ll have three options, go to the first option that is called as status bar there u ll see battery. Now enable it from there. Bingo! U have got the battery percentage jus inside the battery icon. Using the same u can activate night mode but I failed in it. But successful in my xa ultra. All these don need root. These r all hidden android 7 features. Check YouTube if u have any doubts.
