I have used this phone for 2 years, now it is broken as dropped from my hand and screen is not working anymore. the repairement is asking 100 USD for repair, well forget it. Camera Quality is perfect and comparable to any similar device it will still sound better. Battery is supporting you for one complete working day, i used to re-charge every night. but if you enable the Power Saving mode it will work more than 3 days. Screen Quality is very good, 490 PPi was something great when it comes to the Market. it is also supporting OTG cable, i did it by myself and it works. although its not mentioned in user manual. the only week point which i have found was that when i used the headset , the maximum volume was not that much that i was expecting. not a big deal i guess. :)

Couldn't agree more. Any possible upgrade I look at, they are inferior to this phone in some respect or another. This is my 26th month of using this phone and I'm still in love with it. I mostly use it for calling/browsing/videos which SD801/3GB handles fine. It's only that the battery capacity seems to have decreased by 20-25% from original level.... but if I don't see a suitable replacement in a couple of months, I would be perfectly fine with rooting the phone, Installing Nougat, getting the battery replaced and using it for 1 more year.

Really hope Lenovo release the successor in 2017 with the following specs: 6.0" QHD S-AMOLED Display SD835 6GB/128GB Ultrapixel Camera (which is used in Pixel) 5100mAH battery (which is used in P2) all packed in a similar or maybe even slimmer package. if you know how to root and unlock bootloader then you can flash custom rom but first you must know everything before about flashing custom rom , I have already done that I am using Nougat and it run smooth on my vibe z2 pro, trust me it gives you better battery life great signals

I have been using this device for more than two years. Android Nougat 7.1.1 running absolutely fine on this. I get between 5-6 hours of screen on time. The only thing that's missing from this phone is finger print reader. I don't think there are any mobiles in launched in last two years which I could call as an upgrade to this. So may not be upgrading this for couple of years more. Sent from a phone which is more than two years old and still better than many faggship mobiles today.

Do not purchase this phone. Performance very bad. Overheated if the camera is switched on. Services from authorized service centers horrible. Phone started developing problem after the warranty was over. Not value for money. I think some problem is there with the OS. I would prefer a Samsung or LG or I-Phone over these cheap made in China phones.

This phone has an over-heating issue. It gets extremely hot that bringing close to your ear may affect you in the long run. Also some applications run randomly on the background that gets me upset and want to trash the phone.

I have the same problem, and they say (service company) there is no new-part to change, what i think is a lie. (u can find lenovo motherboard/ips panel on the internet) And the strange thing, if u pushing the turn on button (10-100 times) it somtimes give u picture (not allways but sometimes) but i could not figure out the logic of the way i get the screen working. And i also cant understand this error. IF the screen working, and u push turn on buttons again, it still working. But!! If u let the screen shut down for a while, the problem starts again and u really hardly can start the screen again. SO if these are the facts: -IPS panel working (we know its responsive!) -Motherboard probaly fully working -Turn-on-shut down button works! And since this proble WAY-TOO-MUCH-COMMON, i think the case is the same for all of u. The question is: -is there any kind of contact failure, -OR motherboard failure? -OR! maybe program shutdown? Since the company dont want to repair, nor replce, i think ill reset the phone operation system, for an opensource lenovo k920 android 6.0 or higer. If that works, that would make some sense, and would explain that, there was only "operation system fail". What do u think guys? (I dont think overheating would casuse this) Btw i love this phone! I would like to fix it somehow.

this phone need to be updated to Android 6.0 as soon as possible. as it is hanging now, a lot of apps crash, you can not use this phone for any VR devices as the YouTube app not working well on 360 mode the screen came small. the good about this phone is that the battery life is very good even now after 2 years of using.

I updated the phone to the latest android version, build number: K920_S288_160224_ROW. This is Lollipop ROM and has the "Brightness Protection" option inside the "Settings > Display. This is what you mean as "night screen option". But i don't remember that if first Lollipop version has this option, sorry.

You are wrong about the button lights.. Lenovo K920 Vibe Z2 Pro has backlight capacitive buttons. You can find the settings for the touch keys in Display / Menu Buttons..

I have updated till 5.0.2. Intially i used ccleaner for clearing my Ram when ever I see it is filled with too many apps running on background. But now I am using device feature button clear background apps once in a while. Also I am using device power consumption feature so that the apps notifications will be turned off by default. I am manually enabling only my email and whatsapp app notifications. Also I am only charging my phone to 100% only after it battery is down with less than 5%. This way I am able to get atleast 20 - 24hrs hrs of battery backup in general. But When I play 3d games I get only 12hrs as battery is consumed more by GPU. This above has to be followed by any phone to get best out. Even my device camera is working fine. I just feel issues with built in speaker now a days. Other wise rest all good. If want to use lollipop then use cynogen mod 13 so that it is quite stable and good.

Well excluding the touchscreen broke after falling only from 50 or so cm and cost a fortune to replace and the battery died after an year or so the device is OK. There are some bugs in the android OS and Lenovo's GUI such as : after you lock your device with a pin or pattern under the lenovo GUI you cannot remove it, you have to switch to the android GUI to remove it. Some other bugs I've encountered but can't remember right now. Please upgrade to android 6 asap :)

Vibe Z2 Pro is a good phablet. It make some problems sometimes but bring also some advantages. I am using it in Saudi Arabia and it survive a summer 2015 by 50 degrees. I am using it in Slovenia now in January 2016 and it survive also by minus 10 degrees.

Regarding to problem about Z2 won't start up, I had the same issue with my Z2 wich was only three months old. It was three times on service and they have replaced the motherboard. The problem still persists. After almost two month of agony, I got money back because Lenovo had stopped to deliver Z2 to Croatian market. The authorised servis has no clue what is going on with the phone. I have contacted the manufacturer in Hong Kong and waiting for their response. But this is not the end. As I was so enthusiastic about Z2 performance I bought X2 as well. Unfortunately, X2 does not operate at low temperatures below 10C so you have to perform factory reset due to battery problems each and every time. My suggestion to all potential buyers and users of Lenovo phones: DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.

Nope, you can't do that. I have open the sim tray at one of the demo unit, and the two sim slot are just can fit for sim card, not for Micro SD. So, this is a non Micro SD slot smartphone

I have been using this phone since dec 2014. To be honest it is the best phone I have seen so far. Battery Backup : 24 hours ultimate Build : Very very stable. I dropped this mobile from 10 story building by mistake and it works absolutely fine. No glass breakage. Just little dent on one of the edge. Other wise no issues at all. Even dropped my mobile in an oil vessel recently. Initially i found issue with speakers not working fine for couple of days and then planned to visit lenovo service center. But to my surprise it started working completely fine from the third day. This is a rock stable phone and strongly suggests to get this if some one is in plan to put higher budgets for phone. I love this phone though I use an iphone 4s, Nokia 720 lumia, ipad mini2. I am a Techiee and Game Development Architect. So I guess I use this very efficiently..

I've had my Z2 pro for 6 months and it has been perfect so far. Having owned the Galaxy note 1, 2, 3 and 4 this is a huge upgrade. With a 5% larger screen and 30% larger battery it is amazing that the phone is only 1% physically larger and heavier than the current note 5. Considering it is less than half the price makes it incredible value. The oppo and huaweii 6inch phablets put the home and back button on the screen which reduces usable area when compared to the z2 pro.

It's simple look up the same video in a 1080p screeb, the video will still be blurry because the pixel has to spread. If you play a 1080 on a 720 display the clarity of the pic is more crisp and refine.

Before this phone I had many Samsung, all of them rooted and upgraded with Odin. With Z2 Pro, I have permission control, secure zone management, smart scene, smart switch with ultimate power saver, battery saver, background app manager and possibility to disable almost any app, so I don't need anymore to root. Last update it's basically a security patch (for Stagefright exploit), more saturated standard colors and "saturation control" works now. This is changes that I saw until now. Wait and hope for 5.1.1 and 6.0.

Please Don't buy this phone because of the above comment. Same was my Opinion as I had similar expectations. But main Problem is Rebooting or restarting issue. which is very annoying. Since living in China, I know taht a lot of Android phone applications can not regularly be used in China (Facebook, Youtube, Gmail, Viber ... is blocked under government reasons and law). Because of that, I put good VPN application to the phone, like to other old phones I have. After install VPN, Facebook and Youtube and other services work great, but Viber and Gmail can not be activated! Regular can install applications, but phone always blocks when entering data. Some people explained to me that I had to change rom (now the Chinese, and it needs to change software to be a factory's, international free software) or to do root of phone. Do you have a solution? Sorry to interup a lenovo insiders/advocates (referring to those who get lenovo devices for free) meeting but the specs are just good not incredible. The Snapdragon 801 SoC isn't x64 for example. The Adreno 330 is still a good GPU but certainly not incredible (was incredible about a year ago)The 2K screen is just for marketing and puts unnecessary "pressure" on the CPU&GPU,battery life could be better(realistically 1,5 days max/normal usage)and the camera in unrivalled, by other Lenovo phones maybe(makes good pictures but still has some focus issues)....Long story short an MTK MT6752 device(you can get one of those with 2-3GB of RAM for 160-240$) offers more or less the same performance and the MT6752 IS x64(better Lollipop performance). Again the phone isn't bad(the specs match last years flagship phones), the newly launched Lolipoop firmware(yes,Lenovo holds the record for beeing the last manufacturer that upgrades it's flagship to Android 5...that gives you an idea what to expect in the future.Android M?Not in this lifetime) but the Zenfone2(the good one) beets the crap out of Lenovo's k920 in both specs and design....Only if you really,really nead a 6" dual-SIM phablet the Z2 Pro is a good option. BTW:Who makes a phablet flagship?! What's up whit that? This is my short but more realistic (I'm not a Lenovo insider,sorry) review.

Absolutely fabulous Display and Camera (almost unrivaled) Awesome hardware specs: Snapdragon 801, etc... Incredible battery life, considering the qHD display resolution. Holds me a staggering 4 days in light usage, alsmot 1 full week in standby, and over 10 hours in continous video playback with wifi and 4G networks ON. And nevertheless: Absolutely GREAT looks. All metal, with awesome stainless edges. It's really a PRO phone for PROs only!

I recently bought the version with Google play already installed with English and I was very hopeful that this phone would be a good option but it's a huge mistake. No 4g in America and it crashes constantly even with no programs running. It freezes at least twice a day and will not turn back on for 10 minutes. So many issues with this phone! It overheats very easily and burns my fingers. There is no way possible for it to update if you have the version that comes with Google play. I am forever stuck with whatever it came with. It also has MASSIVE amounts of junk programs installed which cannot be uninstalled, my notification bar is constantly filled with icons and stupid reminders and ADS from the programs that were preinstalled trying to get me to download more junk or buy something!!!!!! The reception is also garbage. The only plus side to this phone is the camera.

Sandisk otg pen drive will not work, buy sony otg pendrive it will work. I have both of them, sandisk is not working for me too. For sandisk otg to get work., first insert pendrive in mobile, then reboot , now open file manager, u can see sandisk otg is working. There is no problem with sony OTG

Regarding Lollipop update, no big issues up till now, sometimes certain apps crash but it is rather Android specific common in every phone. Despite of the huge screen and the resolution I have very rarely face any kind of small lags, I can say, the phone is very snappy at all giving you fair user experience. Excellent specs in a beautiful and hihgh quality body. I have just checked the screen/body ratio, it is amazing more than 78%. I'm using it with 2 SIM cards, no big issues occured.I hope it helps.

Lenovo Vibe z2 Pro is an excellent device in all aspects. The only issue is its network signals reception. its poor. All other phones were showing excellent signal strength while it shows one or two signals and often no signal "×" with red cross sign. You should reboot your device, and that will wipe the cash, do it by turning it off first, then press and hold both the (power) and the (volume down) buttons, a menue will pop up, use the volume keys to navigate, choose the (reboot phone), then press the power button. Then, after turning your phone on, go to settings, power, and see what app is draining your battery that much, force stop it, and that's it. My one, has a full day battery, with moderate to heavy use.

I have the same problem with the auto rotate feature, I turn it on but every time I switch the phone off and then on again it disables the auto rotate and I have to turn it on again. It's really annoying and I'm not sure if it is a fault with my phone software or a bug that Lenovo needs to sort out. I'm tempted to do a factory reset to see if that cures the problem but the hassle of having to download apps and set the phone up is going to be a complete wind up if it's all for nothing. If you don't care for looks, then Samsung Galaxy S5 is the best option for 27k. However, if you want a phablet or are looking for beautiful design or need dual SIM then Vibe Z2 Pro is the best option @30k. Flipkart often drops its price to 30k like it did a couple of days ago so you can just wait for that. But if you are getting it for 33k and dual sim is not a requirement then Galaxy Note 3 is also an option @33k. However I would strongly advise to raise your budget and buy Galaxy Note 4 for 46k. This phone is excellent in every single aspect and you won't regret buying it.

Within the last three days usage, I found that: This phone heats up considerably, especially when u use certain apps and games. There is no memory card slot and you have to satisfy with the 24 Gb available from the 32 Gb inbuilt. Though the Ram is 3 Gb, the free ram u get is less than 1 Gb.

If u do moderate calls and messaging and watsapp, then you can go for this model. If you are a hardcore gamer like you said then both these phones, Lenovo Vibe Z2 pro and One PlusOne, will heat up immensely. That is true to some extent for the Note 4 also. I used the Note 4 for a couple of days. But it FEELS less heat coz of the plastic body. The only difference is that the Lenovo cools off the fastest coz of the metal body than the other two mentioned mobiles above. It also FEELS the hottest among them. Let me make one thing very clear to you by my experience of using those phones including the new Iphones. If you play heavy games, all these mobiles get really hot. No doubt about that. The only thing you need to decide is which mobile do you like. So that even after buying it you wont have to think that you made a wrong decision. Thats it to you the clearest explanation anyone could give till now unless who has used those other mobiles also extensively. cheers...

But i don't want to deal with issues, even after cashing in 32,999 INR! Heating is a major issue for me, if it comes to unbearable mode, not even good for the internal hardware. I am a moderate gamer, i can play a game upto 1-2 hours, in its early days of installation, and then about 30 mins-1 hour approx. After one month or two. I use moderate camera, more for clicking pics, less of watsapp, moderate calling 2G only, moderate msging.

First thing it is to be very much noted this product is value for the money where you can do date to day official work. By seeing different users opinion pertraining to heating problem I don't feel so ,since I am using past 1 & half month,because other users are keeping more brightness level & also playing video games in open sunlight areas. But if you use in shadow area instead of sunlight area you need more brightness level. Above all I have not faced any heating or phone hanging problems in this product since it is working pretty well compared to other products,one main thing to be noticed it is dual sim which no other 4G phone manufacture is providing may be low end brands,at the same time a product like this which has built sturdier with metal body,high end camera on both side,3GB ram,32GB inbuilt memory& also GPRS WITH GLONAS WHERE I AM USING DAILY. At the same time if you see the battery back up I am able to run 1 & 1/2 day by listening to music,web chatng,what's up,camera usage. But if you record or view video in 4K or 2K mode battery drops because of bigger 6" viewing area. Other than the above issue I really praise this product for it's worthiness while seeing other products cost & futures . I have this phone for about 1 month plus. Have noticed there's a weird problem initially like it will overheating by itself or hangs sometime. Last week I decided to do the factory reset and all of these problems gone. So remember to do factory reset before use otherwise it will gives you a lot of problem even with whatever updates.

I have even heard from my friend who owns Note 4, it also use to heat up while heavy gaming, but he informed that it was eradicated by an update, i think samsung was able to eliminate it coz, they have plastic casing all over, but vibe z2 pro have heavy metal casing, btw qualcomm habe accpeted it that this fault is from their side, their every new chip is facing this issue, even 810 SoC chip yet to be launched.

Sashank if you need a dual sim phone with current high specs, then this is the mobile to go for. Build is rock solid. Dropped twice from a height of 3 feet. didnt break by god's grace. Performance so far is good. No lags in any daily activity. Lot of bloatware though. Camera is the real stunner. Surprised at the quality and its features. Gaming is pure bliss. no lags in any high end game. U name it. Last but not the least, even after 4 updates my mobile heats up like an oven while playing any game. Sad but true. Hell it heats up a little even while using Whatsapp for 10 mins. Whatever you do, you cant escape the heating issue. All those people saying that heating is not an issue are either less or moderate users.(no offense to anyone pls). Heavy use will result in heating up of the device. No escape from that. One thing I must say though, this is a real eye-turner. Whenever I take it out of my pocket and turn the display on, all eyes in the vicinity naturally get attracted. So if it is looks you are after, then look no further. And don't put any type of cover if you buy it, you will be doing grave injustice to the phone. Its looks are its biggest asset and God will not forgive you if you cover it up :) Covers are meant for hiding ugly designs of Samsung or hiding company logos of karbonn, lava etc. :P

As for signal reception, some concerns may be true because where I live I get 2-3 bars of 3G signal, whereas on the previous phone I was using (LG L90), i used to get 3-4 bars.

Apart from heating issue ,another big issue is signal reception. I have compared five mobiles signal strength at the same place with same network provider. The z2 pro signal strength is the most weaken one. May be future updates will solve this if it is software issue then.

See.... if you can get your hands on it for under 30k then it's a very good deal. Otherwise Oneplus One @22k is a great phone. Galaxy Note 3 price has also dropped to 33-34k, and if Vibe Z2 pro is at 33k then I would actually recommend Note 3 because you won't see much difference between 1080p and 1440p and Note 3 has S-Pen and also AMOLED screen. When I was purchasing the phone, Onplus One was at 22k, Note 3 was at 36k and Vibe Z2 pro was at 28k, and hence it was the best deal in my opinion. But if you need Dual sim then Vibe Z2 Pro is the best option for over 20k.

Yup. the heating issue still persists even after i have updated the phone 4 times.i.e. there were 4 updates released by lenovo and i still face heating issues even while using Whatsapp!!!!! What the hell lenovo? Seriously? Even after 4 updates nothing? And the Sim 1 network capability is low. Signal strength is always weak if i am under the tower for fk sake. Issue is same with 3 different carriers. I just returned it to lenovo store yesterday and got information that there are many similiar problems were complained by other users.. the only good thing I have to admit that its camera is superb and professional.. however.. The battery is heat up unexpectadly... it's very weak network signal receiver..even if we comparing with other cheap and low level smartphones.. the battery isn't as good as I desired... very disappointed..

I purchased this phone from flipkart @28k and have been using this phone for about one month. Here is my short review: Build Quality: 9/10 - It feels as solid as a rock. I accidentally dropped it on a rock on a trip and still it got away with a minor scratch It is pretty slim and looks stunning. Bezels have been kept to the minimum, resulting into a 78% screen-to-body ratio, which is among the best. I am deducting 1 point because the back cover is a bit slippery and can be diificult to hold sometimes. Display - 10/10 - Absolutely flawless screen. Excellent viewing angles and you can easily use it in direct sunlight. Performance - 9/10 - No issues. I have noticed tiny lags only a couple of times in one month of usage. Runs all the current games smoothly. UI - 7/10 - Decent interface from Lenovo with some cool features, but I don't get why they didn't provide a multi-window feature, which would have been very useful on the large 6" screen. That is one really glaring omission. There is also an option to change to default google interface, which is recommended. Usability - 8/10 - Thanks to minimal bezels, it can still fit into your pockets and you might even use it one-handedly if you have large hands. There is an useful feature of making the display area smaller for ease in one-handed operation and I have found myself using it frequently. Camera - 9/10 - Great photos in both daylight and low-light. 4k videos have amazing details but a 10 minute clip has a size of 7GB! So the more practical option is 1080p videos which also looks very good. Battery Life - 8/10 - it will give you around 7-8 hrs of browsing and 11-13 hrs of video playback at moderate brightness settings. Standby is just amazing, and with a single SIM and Wi-Fi on, it only loses 2% charge overnight. Other Features - Dual SIM is a very valuable feature for those who need it, but lack of Card Slot is a problem. There should have been one, or instead, the internal memory should have been 64GB. Overall - 8.5/10 Conclusion - This is a complete value-for-money phone at 30k and you won't regret buying it.

For example, earlier watching 2hrs of video (MX Player, 40% brightness, 40% sound, 1 SIM active, Wi-Fi on) used to take up 15% of battery, now it takes 13%. Similarly, browsing for 1hr @ about 25% brightness on Wi-Fi used up 14%, now it takes only 12%.

I was experiencing the same issue and got a call from flipkart tech support. They asked me to do a factory reset and it resolved the issue. Switch off your phone. Power own holding the down volume key and then choose factory reset. Then restart the device.

Nice, :D and for the information, Android 5.0 Lollipop is on its way, lenovo has confirmed it very early, and few know about it, they provided the detail already by the end of September 2014, when Z2 Pro was released. And if you still have doubts, think like this, Z2 PRO is their flagship phone, they will not dump it. . . Lenovo UI is a tad better than stock android, as it includes a set of interesting features. :D

Nice to see that ppl like u are still there, it is an obvious actual phenomenon in case of battery life, it improves, with the cycles progressing. :) I have nexus 5, in initial stage, as been an upper-moderate user, i had to charge twice, in one day, but now, i can take bet, i can get through the day in one full single charge. . Yeah, as battery follows cycles, overtime it degrades if not properly used. So it is recommended to fully charge your smartphones, before use, excluding cases when you're in a hurry. (Three cycles mentioned should include FULL CHARGE-FULL DISCHARGE) I see alot of ppl complaining even when they do initial charging :P Atleast wait a week, and then provide feedback.

Thats very common among Lenovo and Samsung handsets. I think its much more of a design flaw. The phone was not designed to dissipate heat in such that heat is distributed all around the phone. Thus is cools faster.

Vibe Z2pro is far better than Vibe X in all manner. Not only do you get a better screen and performance but the camera is simply superb. it took me sometime to get use to bigger size but i've stopped using my tablet altogether. This is a perfect all in one device.

Phone seems over valued. Camera quality is also not so good. Lenovo failed to solve heating problem in this model also. Pl. Keep distance at least for six month from launching in market. Today it is available on flipkart only, mrp of the phone is- 34999/- it might be available in market after six month under 30k or other wise over valued. hey guys, i updated my vibe z2 pro just yesterday to the latest version. It doesnt heat up as to you dont want to hold it anymore but when i play heavy graphics game [kritika] for 30 mins, the device will hang up for around 10 secs then reboot. then it will go on a loop rebooting with lenovo logo but not really going to the main screen. Don't buy this there are three major flaws : 1) 4g data only in sim 1, it doesn't have a software switch like Samsung s5 duos. Hence Sim 2 can only work with 2g services , you will be required to change the Sim every time. 2) Second Sim is not active, if you are talking on Sim 1 and someone calls you on Sim 2 the caller will receive the notification as if your Sim 2 number mobile phone is switched off. You won't even know that someone tried to call you on Sim 2 whilst you were talking non Sim 1. 3) LED doesn't work for what's app and email notifications. another thing I want to share here that, if u guys are receiving error like "Connection lost to server,touch to retry" while playing videos on YouTube app.using 3G (it works on Wi-Fi), then uninstall all YouTube updates by settings>apps>YouTube >uninstall all updates. Now go to play store and uncheck all automatic updates,and never update YouTube app in future, this will work. Now u can play videos on 3G also

Hi sandeeph. To answer your concerns: 1. The light leak under the cap. buttons is so slight its hardly noticeable. You will only notice it if you are in a VERY DARK ROOM when thr buutons light up. 2. Its only the power button that is a little loose. The volume buttons are not. 3. I have not experienced any overheating. Yes it sometimes heating when using heavy apps, but that is normal in smartphones. 4. The vibe z2 pro's processor is 32bit only.

Hi guys i had faced the same problem of light comming out from the bottom of the phone of the capacitve buttons. Has got it replaced the phone. Now it doesn't have the same problem, but my power onoff button is way inside the body that makes it really difficult to use. But for rest the phone is killers. But if you need just one sim please go for note 3 its way better. i have used both.

Rrceived this phone on 22 Oct 2014. Unnecessary aaps eats huge memory (more than 1.8GB),so no benefit of having 3GB RAM phone. Performance is similar to any ordinary phone with 1.2GHz Quad-core processor. The picture and sound clarity is awesome, but the users must be careful, it has only 24GB usable memory out of 32GB inbuilt memory. Watching videos generates heat makes the device slight warmer. One advantage it has over other high end phones is Dual-SIM. You may buy this if you don't have any other option.

My option after a week of usage; Heating: yes it does heat up pretty good, with games and social apps on, the metal frame helps the heat retain and spread..camera zone alone heats up very quickly when using the back cam even for a short time Camera and display r next to brilliant, I like that in the device Performance wise dint feel any lag till this point Interface both lenovo and Google is a good switch Inbuilt apps saves the trouble of not having to download multiple apps Battery life the best for a smartphone.. Gotta be so it's 4000mah after all.. There is a new firmware update.. Lemme download and check this for another week probably the heating will be taken care of with that stability and performance update as they call it

Just an Amazing Phone. I am using it from past 3 days. All specs are true and outstanding. I am loving the Lenovo UI. Lenovo pro camera feature is the best. 5 MP front cam with beauty face is perfect for selfie shots. Complete metal back, don't have to worry about scratches at all. The screen ward given with the phone is also of a very high quality. Screen shows the correct picture colors. Can't belive IPS could be better than amoled. Lenovo security App keeps the phone fast, extends the battery life and keeps your 3G usage under control Comes with preloaded with full version Route 66 app which is far better than any navigation app available Battery life is killer phone goes on and on and on... Only CON I found is that the phone heats up but it cools down soon after you are done with heavy app I compared a lot, read all the reviews, did all my research finally paid 33k and bought but now I feel even if I had paid 44k for this I would have been happy with this phone. My experience after almost 2 weeks Does it heat up? Yes when using very heavy apps or flash for long. But not to a point it's unusable... I was okay with the Xperia Z2 heat & this is much less than sony. We need to understand that this is a very powerful phone.. just like a powerful gaming laptop there will be a bit of heat. Not to a point it's unusable Camera: Stunning!!! both night & day shots are the best i have seen on a phone. perhaps the high quality screen also helps Screen: Big & beautiful... I love the colors and it is easily visible outdoor Performance: zero lags so far.. even when i have lots of apps open Other cool things: secure zone is absolutely great. For the google UI mode.. havent used that much... i like changing th themes in regular UI Best part: I finally have a high end performance phone that has Dual SIM! i dont have to carry 2 phones anymore. + This has perhaps the best battery life for a performance device I'm Lovin it!

But from my experience of using this is simply superb fast running,Excellent display, Ultimate Cam resolution. Ofcouse high end mobile obviously get some heat while multitasking or Using device with high resolution, We can also see these things in high end spec Laptops. So i suggest to all Lenovo user its suggested to use mobile in Battery saving mode,Its controls by over heating of device. its Suggested in company manual also. I sincerely suggest to buy for who really interested in using High End Mobile. Its really most solid and sexy peace.

Yes, the Sandisk OTG DualDrive is not getting detected when connected directly to this phone using the Micro USB. However if you connect it though an OTG cable, it will work as does every other regular USB drive

Go ahead and buy Z2 pro. Its the bets value for money phone. No phone available now can match its battery and camera. I am using it for 2 weeks now. Slight heating issues while playing videos. other than thats its perfect. Software updates are almost weekly. Also you can dual boot the GUI between Lenovo and Kitkat stock

Guys, i had bought Lg G2 Pro as vibe z2 pro doesnt specify if it supports MHL, DLNA or Miracast. Miracast is still not fluid as a technology, I have a good/fast android TV cs968 but there is a considerable Lag in screen casting and it is only usable to view photos. if you play video the phone heats up and you cannot play games due to lags. So you need not worry about Miracast for now. but DLNA is really usable like chromecasting or rendering media/photos/songs to TV. So please check if it supports DLNA. i think is must be supporting it but it nowhere shows in specs. a phablet has its advantages, but the greatest thing i am missing using a phablet is my swype keyboard on previous 4.7 inch phone, with that typing is so easy and fast with continuous input. I wish swype releases a resizable keyboard soon

Guys for me Vodafone 3G is fast enough for skype video calls and YouTube so I am not so worried about FutureProof 4G right now. We still dont know if this device supports DLNA Miracast, MHL. This is a must for me for any highEnd smartphone. even mi3 supports it. I had called and emailed Lenovo but I havent got an answer. I have bought LG G Pro2 for now for 30k (Gpro2 has Infrared), this doesnt have 801 chipset/dual sim/4g/2k display. but it still works for me

Not sure if you have actually used the phone or just trolling here. Samsung fan/dealer? All powerful phones heat up. But if you use other snapdragon 801 devices, the Z2pro is just average.

After using 4 days, I found that there is no video call facility from the 3G sim in this phone. We have to use social sites like Skype or Face book etc for video calls. There is no facility for direct video call from 3G sim card. When I approached my service provider AIRTEL, they told that there is no facility in the phone it self. As I understand, this phone will not be compatible to Reliance Jio's LTE (4g) network when it will be launched next year. Phone should be compatible to TDD LTE Band 40 (2300-2400 MHz), while as per the technical specification on the Lenovo website it has compatibility to FDD Band 1, 3, 7, 20.
