It didn't happen with me. This was my first cellphone, in 2010, and I got borrowed from my mother, who might have bought it in 2006 or 2007. I found it in the depth of my drawer whithout being used for almost 9 years and, for my surprise, it and it's charger are working ^^.

The original batteries are still available, I bought one at a cell accessories shop in S�o Paulo, corner of Av. Paulista and Pamplona, and it works great, charge lasts a long time now.

It is a nice phone . I bought it two yrs ago.The problem is, how can identify genuine original LG battery ? Charge does not last longer at all. I doubt fake manufacturers may have take advantage to penetrate their items.

It is not so powerful phone.It's backup is also not nice, browising is slow and it shows only wap server error.Network is also weak in this phone.Text messaging is brilliant in this phone.LCD quality is also best compared with this range to others.Actually this phone is good to gift kids.Thanks

Ummm, it does have an FM radio. (can people not read?) Actually it's a great little phone for the price you see them at. If all you want is a phone and not something with a million features you'll never use, it's perfect. It has all the basics you'd expect, vibration, MMS, onscreen clock, easy to use and decent UI, decent sized phone book.

This phone is very good,it is simple,light weight and the features are all very convinient to someone who just need a simple but at the same time flushy way to communicate. The web browzer menu is my favourite.It connects so fast to wap and GPRS that i nolonger seek for game results anywhare else.I have them at the tuoch of a button. The fact that you can send a single text to multiple guyz is also great.But it lacks a RADIO,How i wish.....

i just bought this phone 3 months ago and am already having problems with it.i dont know what to do anymore.i thought the problem was with the battery, and so i bought the battery on 30th and the next day it wasnt charging at all and the phone switched itself off and now i cant even access anything from the phone at all. what could be the problem?

I just bought this phone 2 days ago.I had no problem with it. The fm reception is very good.I f you guys buy the headphone with a longer stripe the reception will be much better. The menu is easy and fast enough. For the price wise and fm built in I recommend this phone.

umm hmm lets just say i got the phone 8 months ago and now the screen is blue!? i don't know why i didn't misuse it and i can still make calls and get calls but the screen is always blue! it's not a solid blue it changes from dark in the middle of the screen to light in the middle! if you have had this problem please contact me tomorrow i am going to take it bake and get it replaced so if you've had this problem please tell me what you did about it!

Just 2 weaks back i purchased this mobile is very good, less weight, one advantage in this i listen fm radio when i am free, but performance of battery is poor .

Looks good indeed - have had it for a week or so. But 2-3 times now the phone just switches itself off despite a full battery - and then even on full charge and only receiving 3-5 calls a day of say 2 minutes each - the battery runs down. So having to charge it full every night where as on my Nokia the battery lasted me 3-5 days is severely disappointing

For what its worth, this is a very good basic phone. Its great for a traveller (like me) who needed a cheap tri-band phone, however the design flaws soon become obvious and very annoying. There are only 4 sms tones, all very low and short, (one actually sounds like a person breating out after having a refreshing drink), i was going through the 4 tones 1 day in a shopping centre and realised that i couldnt even hear them with the phone in front of me (little background noise as well) so this phone is no good if ur in a noisy place much of the day, u will simply miss messages. Thje ring tones are also very low, what ever happened to good old "british" or "standard" ringers?? the type u could hear when u were 4 rooms away and the phone rang?? polyphonic tones shold be an option, not the norm, they sound too much like much of the back ground music in shops etc etc, and are easily missed when ringing... there is a problem with the key lock, i often need to press the combination several times to unlock the keybad (especially after getting a message report) hmmm thats about it, great for a person who works in a quiet environment, not so good if ur out and about all day... Cheers!

I just bought the LG B2000, looks great and so far operate ok,i been reading comments, and my advise to many of the comments, please do not drop the Phone into hard ground like cement floors or onto hard objects, get at lease a tick plastic cover for it, there is a few on the Market for no more they 2 to 3 Dollars US, and you must set the phone properly in its Menu, if you find difficult to do so, take it where you bought it from and ask them to help you, that's what we do here in Australia, and we don't find that we ever get turn away with out help. I have got b2000 very recently and am not fully used to it yet. And yet the greatest downside of it, asitseemstome, is weakness of software. Theres really a chance GPRS can ruine it. I ve got acoupleof bugs already!!!!

This phone is very sleek and nice, it doesnt end a phone call with one touch of the end button but other then that it is quick, easy to use and also includes an fm radio. I havent had a problem with it at all.

I bought this phone from Vodafone Australia for AU$99 as a prepaid service phone (with a SIM card and AU$30 credit) and it works great, except that when indoors in houses made of reinforced concrete the signal is not so good. Other than that I think it is a great little phone. The FM radio reception is a bit marginal as well unless you're in a wide open area or a few floors up.

The appearance of the phone is quite nice, it is slim and very sleek. I can't say much about its performance because each time i insert a sim card the phone will just start giving some funny noise that is quite irritating to the ear. I don't know if this is a software problem.

Help, I have a new LGB2000 and everything was fine until I want to make a call. Instead of saying "calling" the screen says "alerting" and the all connects and I can't hear anyone on the other end. To fix this someone can call me and if I make a call straight away than I can connect fine. The problem then comes back after I end the call. I've tried a different sim card and the problem is still there so it is the phone doing this and wasting me money. Has anyone had the same problem and knows how to fix it?

do you know that exactly the same thing happened to me - when i turn it off i can't turn it back on and there is a big dark patch in the middle of my screen. its so frustrating!

Its fine but the problems i had faced with this is abt the voice. If i continue a call more than 2-3 min, the noice will become low. As well it wont allow to make more then a call continously. if i continue, The other to whom we make call will get ring and he lift, but we are unable to listen his/her voice. Only the chance tht will understand this thing is after seeing the bill.

But the question is, can I set a wave or mp3 file as a ringtone. I tried, but can't download it to my phone. Is b200 supports mp3 ringtones? please answer me.

I love this phone. I love the fact that I can record memo's, download my own composed midi files from my very own homepage and use them as a ring tone, battery life lasting a very descent time, great lcd and sound clarity, fm radio picks up more than my stereo system, hands free headset is better than I expected, and the games for crying out loud have the graphics of a megadrive. What more could you ask for? Ok, for the down fall. You do indeed as mentioned above have to click end a few times to get it to hangup. Other than that, I have had none of the other problems that people are mentioning here. I would have to say for them, it is warranty time. Great phone indeed. Cheers LG.

I have got this phone for 3 month but I have to throw out. Problems: the voice of it is like a digital game from the '80s. To understand the human speach is not so easy because of it. Also, the display is death totaly (started with a small orange point and after it becames for the all display.)

Recently got one for myself; LCD and FM features are good but the only worrying thing is that the screen turns blank after a few seconds if left idle and that's very very very irritating.

I bought it in April,2005. The problems: It is with all the new makers and models-ring tone starts with a very low voice,so when your gal friend gives you a missed call and if it is not in vib mode..u missed it complete :) Another serious bug:When I get a call, some times, when I press the "CALL" or the above button it makes the ring silent and form there on no key in the keypad works you cant even switch it off untill the other side person stops the ring. so..you cant answer it...you cant cut it...you r stuck..u can do nothing...It happens some times not all the times. So some how it missed the testing eyes at LG. But really a pain for me. And since I cant guess when it is happening like that I am not able to show it to the service center too

First the nagative points: The keyboard(button operation)is lousy. Navigation keys(left,right,up and down) do not have backlight,so difficult to operate at night. To end a call you will have to press the 'End' button two or three times. No immediate response. The positive ones: Good LCD display. Loud and clear ringtones, Good alarms (up to 5. Unlike some old phones, you have only to set the alarm once and it will go off every day at the desired time. Sleek and compact, sufficient phone book memory, good calendar. FM radio is very good, stereo using the head set. Couldn't be stereo since the phone has only one external speaker.
