LG Enlighten VS700 - User Reviews

  • Don't. just save yourself a lot of time and effort and don't. its memory is Pathetic, mine won't charge to save its life most of the time and a single app makes it unusable.

  • Hi. I am looking to possible buy this phone used from a friend for my 13 year old. I would want the option to turn off the data plan as I do not want my teen to have access to the internet at all. Thank you for any feedback you could give me. Valerie

  • Disappointing phone. Low storage capability, can't sync videos well on Drama Fever or Netflix, I still haven't been able to get Mapquest Mobile to work on it, and the Navigation program that is provided does not announce the name of the street you're supposed to turn on.

  • you can upgrade to ics via cyanogenmod

  • This phone is horrible. I got it because I wanted a smart phone with a QWERTY keyboard. It was fine for a while, but when facebook started updating regularly I had to delete all of my other apps. The storage on this phone isn't meant for the social media today. Can only have one of facebook, twitter or instagram... having all three and you won't have any storage space. Slow running videos, freezes frequently when using 3G or running videos. Overall the idea is wonderful just wish the memory was better.

  • My friend kathy pitts sent me thesame vs700 verison phone to south africa and i love the phone so much. How can i ever make use of it here in republic of south africa? Reply!

  • HORRIBLE PHONE. I've had to delete every application I've ever downloaded because it keeps saying "low on storage; delete more files." After transferring everything I could to the SD card this problem has still persisted to the point that I feel completely ripped off by my carrier.

  • really then i wont mind if u can send to thisto me ,reply me directly if wish to do so at my email [email protected]. thanx

  • You can have mine I hate it...

  • nice phone! mind blowing feature of ths phone

  • I love the phone. it takes the beating i give it every day. the only issue i've had out of the phone besides the intense heat from the batter is the charge port in the phone has gone bad. Absolutly love the phone. Looking for another!

  • It does NOT have 802.11n wireless. Other wise it's not a bad phone for being entry-level by today's standards. It plays YouTube videos well but it can't quite keep Netflix audio and video in synch. Internal storage is a bit on the low side so if you like a lot of apps you'll find yourself having to decide which ones you really need to have on the phone, since many of the larger ones such as Facebook won't install to SD card. Another problem with apps is that some of them are no longer supporting 2.3 Gingerbread and unless you use a custom ROM there is no ICS 4.0 available for this phone.

  • its a fair phone

  • It requires a Data plan ($30)

  • Does this require data plan?

  • Im gonna' buy dis phone, pls answer if its great or it sucks! I dont wanna waste my money! Pls! Answer me!!

  • I have LGVS700 phone, and I wanted to upgrade computers, and finally updates turned off the computer and the screen is written Downloading ... Do not unplug, what to do and where can I get the firmware.

  • best phoe of lg has got everthing thank you

  • Great phone. Can't ask for a better phone for the new comer, to the world of smart phone

  • Hey. These are not the specifications for the LG Eclypse(with a y) carried by Bell and Virgin Mobile in Canada. That phone is HSPA+(not CDMA), its product code is C800G, and info about it can be found on LG's website: Thanks! And if you can discern for me whether this phone has a digital compass, or no, that would be awesome. Yours Truly, a Techie who Cares.
