Second the memorie is always full most apps can be moved to a sd card (side note i dont have that many apps to begin with only snapchat instagram and whatsapp that are the ones i downloaded my self). Thirt it heats up realy quickly especialy in the sun at some point my device was about 50 degerees celcius( im not a docter but i guess that isnt right) Your better off buying an other phone

If you guys want the phone to be 3x faster (but remember the battery life will reduce to 15% because of tweaks), let me know by giving me you email address. Ok, Step by step... 1.) Backup your Data from your SD-Card (SD-Card will get formated) I would recommed to restore your Phone to factorysettings to have everything clean and new. 2.) Turn on USB Debugging on the LG-Beat. In order to do this you have to enable Developer-Options on your phone. Go to the phonesettings ----> General----> About Phone ---->Software info and tap 10 times on "Build number". Once you've done that you should have Developer options in Settings ----> General. In the developer options, you will find "USB Debugging". Make sure it is enabled. 3.) Install this Software to your PC and start it. If you start it, you will get a black Dos-Window 4.) Connect your Phone to your PC 5.) Copy and paste each command one by one. (Press return after each command) After each one of those commands you will get a response from your PC adb shell sm list-disks adb shell sm list-volumes all adb shell sm set-force-adoptable true adb shell sm partition disk:179,64 private adb shell sm set-force-adoptable false adb shell sm list-volumes all 6.) If everything went through without errors, disconnect your Phone and restart it. 7.) Now go to Phone-Systemsettings ---> Storage and USB The Memorycard should be purple now. Tap on it. Now tap on the 3 Dots in the upper right corner and tap on "Adopt Storage". 8.) From now on, everything you download, doesn't use your internal storage anymore. Just download whatever you want. You don't have to move stuff to the SD-Card. Just have fun and install whatever you want. Alex

You are absolutely right, I suppose I am just venting. I have just disabled as much as I can (of the unused Android/Google Apps), removed all unnecessary media from the internal memory and still only manage to have 5 of my Apps installed with 887 Meg free. i am SO mad with myself for being talked into this "later" and "improved" model (my wife has the LG G4 - fantastic phone, the one I wanted :p). I suppose I will have to stick with it a year or what before I buy a new phone, else my wife will find some way to "punish"me. ;D

Dude when you bought the phone you knew it was only 8Gbs. It was your own fault to think 8Gbs was enough for the new apps available on the market. About not being able to move to sd card that's easy. Some apps need priority and resources or need some kind of special permissions or are just in the phone by default which makes it impossible to move to an sd card. What you can do is disable/uninstall pre-installed apps (at your own risk). Maybe you should do some research before buying something next time.

Buying this phone is the biggest mistake I ever made. I am so tired of uninstalling apps due to the miserable amount of internal memory available. Besides the OS and its associated Apps there is effectively only room for 9 more Apps after which it becomes almost impossible to upgrade anything. Coders don't always allow / enable moving the installed App to SD card. :( I have no photo's, music or DOC's on the phone, there is just not enough room.

Before the update I have like 900 MB left. After the update I have 810 MB lef - which does not add up since the update itself is around 220MB. Maybe it only replaced some things that's why smaller memory is filled up than expected.

Yes I did and my model# is H735. I couldn't tell the difference after the update. The phone is still smooth though. No performance issues in my case.

Great phone overall. My only gripe is the screen brightness. It is not bright enough when you are in direct sunlight like when you are in the beach even at max brightness. And the internal memory. LG could have at least made it 16GB. Battery is OK and camera - i wish my version has 13mp but still ok with 8mp- i'll say camera has more accurate color reproduction plus the speedy laser autofocus outdoors. I might switch tho to a samsung midrange with super amoled screen. The screen while on outdoors is my real gripe.

The Marshmallow update is quiet big but it has improved the speed of the phone and improved the battery life as well. The isn't any adoptable storage so going with a 32GB memory card will serve you well. As for the camera update I'm not really sure if it made a difference because it still looks pretty much the same to me...I was hoping for extra features/ camera modes though...but all in all the update is worth it in giving your phone a little bit of a boost.

So far the experience is still the same. Charging time is still the same... Battery life is a little okay. I got 4 hours od screen on time but i played videos for 2 hours. Im not sure it sounds okay with you. The messaging is a little inconsistent.on the positive note standby is very pleasing.

Yes its getting hot like about to burn.. My phone still old one month. Battery not good and its taking too much time to full charge... I got another issue.. I recorded 2 musical shows clips... One near the sound kits.. Actually behind that sound kits. Another one more than 30m from the sound kits. When it play all sounds like earthquake.. Grrrrrrrrr.... But videos superb.. And internal memory always notifying its full. 8Gb not much.. Normally its taking 4.5gb for system memory... Without that issues.. This G4 beat is the best one from the world smart phones..

This phone is truly a beast and the best mid range phone that's out there. The camera's takes out beautiful pictures thanks to LG's colour spectrum and laser focus. Even though its just 8mp rear...with the top quality of its cameras it can surely compete with any other mid range phone out there. The phone can handle top end games while having other apps opened up so don't let that 1.5GB ram fool you, it just warms up while playing games but its not that bad. Sound quality is excellent as well and people can hear you clearly, it would have been a bonus if it came with LG's quad beat earphones...Don't forget, it comes with a Full HD screen so pictures look beautiful on it. Last but not least...the design is amazing. I just love how it shy's away from that unibody look of other mobiles, the style is just awesome...an added bonus is that it has a removable cover, not forgetting that it also has that awesome curve just like on the Flagship G4. If you're lucky you could get a spare leather back as well...I've gotten a black leather although it isn't the exact same as the Flagship G4 with the stitches coming down in the middle...none the less...its still leather. If you're thinking of purchasing a new mobile and looking between the lines of a mid ranged phone then this model is surely one worth considering. I wonder whether that is the capacity when the phone says it is full or the capacity when left charging overnight (after which it will stay at 100% for several hours). 2. I've upgraded to 6.0 also, i don't have a battery drain issue. I see battery improvements on stanby because of the doze feature.. Otherwise it's all good. I don't use gps that much, i only enable it when i will use it for something. Wifi i use it a couple of hours also. I always turn it off when not in use. Mostly im on 3G always., lte still is in progress for my town. Not all areas are covered. Try backing up your data and go for a factory reset. Which helps alot.. Then put back everything.. I once had an issue where i flash a stock rom on a lg spirit and had little issues but always a wipe data solves most problems when just upgraded to a new firmware. Because of old data on the phone.. And sometimes can get currupt during update process.. Give it a go.!

I upgraded my LG-H736P to Marshmallow a few days ago. It is possible to move some (but not all) apps to the SD card. I was hoping to see an improvement to the battery life, but it wasn't evident. So I worked through the discussion at ­ (the Nexus 5 is also made by LG and might have the same underlying platform). That discussion suggests that the high reported WiFi power drain (which is what my G4 Beat shows) is actually a reporting bug but, nonetheless, there is higher than expected power drain. I have changed the Location Services to Device only and the phone has managed 3 days since the last charge. We have to hope that whatever bug fixes are finally done for the Nexus get carried over to the G4 Beat.

1. Yes, tap the screen a couple of times to turn it on and tap the screen a couple more times (in an empty place) to turn it off. 2. The dual SIM G4 Beat has two micro SIM slots and a separate micro SD card slot (unlike some phones where the second SIM uses the micro SD card slot. There isn't much choice if one wants an FHD display and dual SIM. 3. The battery life is below average but I've managed up to 4 days of light usage. One factor is the display brightness. The G4 Beat compares very badly on battery life compared with the G4 Stylus although both came out at about the same time. The latter is now updated to Marshmallow which has further stretched its battery life (I've been testing one) so we have to hope that Marshmallow will arrive and have the same effect on the G4 Beat.

A lot of memory is also used up in cached data so you should clear that regularly in the storage settings. Then some apps can also be moved from internal storage to external storage in your apps settings when you click on an app some apps will have the option to 'move to sd card'.

Use LG's Internet app instead of the chrome app for downloads. You can go to Settings then Content Settings and then Select Download Storage and change your storage option to your SD card. After doing this everything you download will be saved to you SD card.

I like almost everything about this phone, it has good features. What I don't understand is how they expect you to download and store music on the shitty memory they give you. You can install an SD card, but you can't save to it. So you can only save things to internal memory, which you then have to move. Which is fine, but if you want to download something big, you can't, because there's not enough memory. Ridiculous. Also, you can't save the music to the SD card. No logic at all.

Compared to the P8 lite I'd go for the G4. In fact I did. My friend recently got a p8 lite and I don't know what it is about the P8 lite but something just feels wrong. The Gr have a little less ram but otherwise the phones are pretty much the same. The G4's camera is also a little bit weaker but the pixels of the camera makes up for it. So it's also basically the same. Nevertheless, screen size and screen quality of the G4 is WAY better than the P8 lite. Also a few extra features I really like on the G4. It's really up to you, but I'm really happy with my G4 beat. Perfect phone for me.

For the laggy interface, it's because of LG's launcher, well that's my opinion, try changing launchers, I tried using Nova for a while and it runs smooth in terms of UI and normal day to day screen swiping (less lag, you'll notice it). Also make a habit of closing unnecessary apps in the background.

The phone is great, the battery is not that bad and the phone is fast, the problem is that i feel some lag when scrolling, the camera is great and the display is beautiful. I do alot of gaming and all games run really smooth, only some games dont( Asphalt 8 And Minecraft Pe), It can be because the device is not supported since its "New". But its overall a great experience And with only 1.5 gigs of ram it does the job.

The phone is good. Upgrading from a G2 Mini, it is faster. The mobile data just really drains the batt so you really have to be conscious. But for Wifi, its decent and the I really love the display and camera. Personally, even with the 8MP resolution, it's far better than the Asus 13MP cameras or other phones with the same price range. As for the memory, it is TOO small. You really have to get an external card for this or else, you have less than 3GB to install those apps and some apps dont have the capacity to be installed to SD card (ex. twitter). but i love it. easy on the hand grip and light weight.

I have this phone for two weeks now and beginning from bad things, the worse is that the battery is total disaster. For sure the developers didn't test it wih mobile data and gps on! I noticed that some pepole dislike the monocolor led light, but i would rather set up a light sensor, so I would not constantly changing the screen brightness to save battery. I did not notice a great difference between this processor and the snapdragon 410 I had previously, although this not a problem at all, I just expected super fast game loading times. 2 GB of ram would be flawless :). The last bad thing I noticed was using the gps, after that my performance app popped saying that the phone temperature was above normal. But I had the same trouble with other phones, but this time I could raise the brightness to 100%, as the firmware also popped up saying that phone was heating too much. A strange thing that happens to me is that when I walking in sunny days, i cannot switch the phone to landscape mode, as the screen brightness diminishes until stay completely black!! Does anynone have experienced this? The good things is that the screen is...LG, I mean that never disapoints and for sure is one of the best screens of mid range phones. The camera mode is absolutely amazing, and for the ones who are in a dream trip and want to capture special moments, this phone is the right one! One special note for rooted phones fans: this phone is rootable with a little beat freaked out method, but effective, as I did it, and works perfectly! The removable battery, for a phone that has a total fail battery is an extra value! At least the android 5.1 swims as fish in the sea in this phone, with rapid and smooth transitions, and believe that is not by firmware that battery life sucks, as I unninstalled all junk apps, (only possbile with root permision), and the battery life remained terrible. All the other functions, as phone calls, web surfing, gps work fine. Remarks: if you are a user that is not more than 3 hours playing games, or 3 hours surfing on the net and does not use the gps in a daily basis, I should buy it, because the main functions work fine and you still can have the phone with battery at the end of the day with 1h playing, mobile internet on all day and a few hours of use in a day. If you are thinking to use this phone somewhat near a tablet, to internet surfing and playing, forget it!

Strange that a brand new, mid price phone has is inferior to my old Samsung s2.. - the external sdcard can NOT be used for storing apps, the main reason I bought this phone. Moving apps to sd only moves it onto a separate folder on the internal 8 gb storage. The operating system uses 4 gb on its own, so you're left with about 3 gb for apps, compared to 32 gb on my old S2.. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall at lg when this decision was made. - screen is not gorilla glass. 4 days and it's allready scratched. Again S2 from 2013 is scratch proof. - charge time is twice of any other phone I own. I checked it only charges at 0.6 amps, where most other phones charge at 1.4 amps or more. - bloatware was taken to the next level on this phone. I counted 18 apps which are completely useless to new and clutters the screen and wastes the tiny bit of storage this phone has. - no light sensor, so you're fighting in daylight trying to see where to turn up the brightness and by night your partner freaks out because of the lighthouse next to her. Again the oldest, cheapest android devices I own have this function. - no face tracking to keep the screen on while reading. Again, back a step. Don't buy this phone!

You will need to check with T-Mobile the frequencies they have. This phone does support 2100 MHz; however, it only supports BAND 1. T-Mobile, I think, supports AWS 1700/2100 MHz. AWS can also mean BAND 4. Check with T-Mobile (maybe their website has the info) to see if their frequencies match with any one of the phone's LTE frequencies.

Great design compared to xiaomi Mi4i & sony M4. I have a Mi4i. Specs is better in terms of 2 GB Ram, 16 GB internal memory and 13 Mp rear camera. I can live with that since G4 beat has expansion slot while I am not into camera. The looks overrides the above. Getting one on 01 Oct 15.

LG G4 is a nice phone and what I like about it is that you have options. You can change the back of the phone if you want to. You can add as much disk space as you want. You can change the battery anytime you like. Its as fast as the other phones. Those that nitpick about phones are never satisfied and probably live alone. Hee! Hee!

Correct the g4 beat has the best display on the midrange phone. Full HD with 423ppi Superb! Excellent viewing angles excellent color reproduction excellent brightness and sharper. And the 8mp camera is the best ! With shutter speed and manual mode. The best phone for 280$ Other phones under300$ are all ugly and poor China made.

The audio is very low and the performance is also slow laggy.
