LG G Pad 8.0 LTE - User Reviews

  • Please i have one and the unlocked code from T-Mobile but i can't unlock it please what should i do now, i think my network thats not support it ..

  • eBay

  • How..i can unlock sim survice in this tablet?

  • how can i call from it and how can i allow data on

  • yes it does.

  • does this tab supports 4G (LTE) internet connection ?

  • I've had it for over a year now and used it the whole time quite a bit reading pdf and word files, playing some small games. Never used it for anything big like gaming for hours or something, but never had an issue with it and it works pretty smooth and battery lasts enough for studying. So with the price and how it works I am completely satisfied and for low to normal usage I'd say it's perfect if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

  • I got mine refurbished and it works fine. Sometimes the touch screen acts up when it's logged on another profile and the screen locks other then that I love it. I read a lot of these comments and it just sounds like a lot of people just don't know how to use these things. Do the research and know what your doing it helps!

  • Have no problems just wish I can change the apps on the dual screen. Is that possible anyone knows?

  • This turned out to be a piece of crap. Just after couple of months it would turn off automatically saying that "the temperature is high and it would turn off for your safety" even without using it for hours. Then when I opened candy crush or other big games on this piece of shit it would return back to the home screen in the middle of the game which was freaking annoying. All in all its a piece of junk, finally got rid of it, pheww!!

  • I have this tablet. . I pretty much just use it for a fish finder display .. I cannot call out on it, but i have received a call on it ONE time. . . I got this tablet this time last year as a bonus device for $1 when I bought my LG v10 phone. My tablet has a local number and my phone is an out of state number. . If I have AT&T forward the phone number from tablet to my phone, my tablet no longer works with the 4g LTE. . I want to know if there's a way to enable phone calls using my tablet's number for local communications.

  • i need a touching pad for my lg v490 8inch tablet i cant find it plz help me guys am in east london in south africa i have been trying since last year i jct dont know where i can get it

  • This is the biggest piece C#$% ever! slow bloatware filed system, keyboard crashes and stops working no matter witch one I run! doesn't even open sometimes! it feel plastic and fragile this is one of the biggest cheapest paper weight in my life! because I could never use it there's so much lag and crashing it's frustrating to use and I'm done with it.

  • Battery life is crap

  • Pretty run of the mill tablet. Screen is just okay. 4G connectivity is fast. Processor is actually slower than most high end phones. (or even my midrange LG K10 ). Only 1GB of RAM; not that great for multitasking. However, when upgraded to lollipop, you can use the dual screen functionality, and run two apps at the same time. I have no problem listening to a youtube video on one side, and browsing the web on the other. Integrated stylus is nice. USB Host connectivity is also a plus (full size USB port on the side). All in all, I'm very pleased with this thing. Just a shame that it was 300 bucks, and my 100 dollar Insignia tablet was better in every way (except for not having 4G LTE connectivity). Overall: 3.5/5 Build Quality: 4.5/5 CPU Performance: 2.5/5 Screen: 3/5 Battery Life: 4/5

  • Can i use the tablet as a phone or not?

  • Snapdragon 400

  • Somebody knows what type of inernal memory lg used in this tab?

  • Not worth it, YouTube doesn't work stops after 4-5 minutes have to click 'play' again, Google doesn't load anything says page not found reload while all these things run smoothly on my phone, really frustrated.

  • Help me out I can't get into Google play my LG tablet just chaw all data while I haven't even opened anything.

  • Excellent battery life.

  • We're can I get the cheapest lcd screen for lg 495 without breaking my wallet

  • What other lcd screens will enter change with lg tablet 495 8.0

  • Can I use this tablet as my DSLR Monitor by using Micro USB to mini USB cable? Much appreciate to anyone who answer this question!

  • Yes! the "knock knock" feature is my favorite! but it has not the proxy sensor..

  • does this model have proximity sensor or not?....is there "knock. .knock" feature for turning the screen on/off? can anyone answer please

  • Ditched my smartphone, got this instead. Ported my phone number to fongo, and use it as a tablet/phone. Between fongo and Hangout dialer (google phone) this is perfect. Looking to root it.

  • No it cannot. Hangout is not cellular circuit phone, it is VOIP based, you need to refill the Hangout credit to call land line / cellular number.

  • To enable telephone phone calls, install "Hangouts Dialer" in Google Play.

  • Android 6 Coming for This Tablet ???

  • this is a tablet with LTE connectivity (SIM only for Data, no calls)

  • Who cares about radio

  • use qpair only with someone who has qpair

  • Use KingRoot-4.1.0. Works great.

  • this is very good tablet only in this Lg didn't. provide RADIO

  • can any tl me how to mk phone calls using this tab plz

  • I have this tablet! It Works very good! About 1 week ago i Updated to Android 5.0.2 via LG Flash Tool (kdz file) because when i had 4.4.2 i had Rooted the tablet! now after the update my Root access had lost and i can't root it again i have tried many thing to root (manual and oneclick) and many of them they say Done but it doesn't root the device and one of the scripts when i run it install su but it get's bootloop. It's anybody which had rooted LG v490 on Android 5.0.2?

  • yes. i got it yesterday. it runs like a charm to me! i thing that it runs faster, but i have to use it a little bit to know for sure...

  • Did anyone got an update to 5.0.2? LG claims to have released the update but still haven't received over the air, neither through manual installation, using the lg support tool.

  • Which is better. This or the dell venue 8 (the one with a dual core atom but 2 gig ram). Especially their speed? Please help

  • Lifes hard. I know is a long drop from the full 8.3. This one just has 1.2ghz and 1 gig ram. Snapdragon 400 some say. But its a qualcom processor. That company knows there processors. Thers so good the samsung koreans chose them over the intel americans for their tab 4 series and sorry my friend the 8inch tab 4 isn't in southafrica (stupid move by samsung) now south africans will be buying ipads , you didn't think that through didn't you samsung...

  • This is a nice tablet. Love the battery life. Wish it was the full older 8.3 version. Its hard to find its benchmark tests. Is it really as slow as they keep saying it is. I previusly owned a 2012 nexus 7. I fround the Tegra 3 chip just fine. Is it slower than that ? Should I rather go for a adroid venue 8 2013. With the intel atom dual core ( I hear it has lots of bugs though) another option is the lenovo yoga 8. I am not a heavy gamer I just need something reliable and can handle high res anatomy apps large PDF books and Sylus support would be nice

  • I thought it came with a 1.7 GHz processor and 2gigs ram. Or is it just because were the south african market

  • The other one is the microphone

  • I found it have only sound on right hold //I think tt has only one speaker

  • The product for his price is not so bad. the device is not bad, the performance could be better but the thing that annoys me the most is the speakers..why make 2 holes if there is only one speaker..???

  • There's only 1 speaker although there are 2 speaker holes.

  • There is 2 speaker at back side

  • Awesome product.. really great Lg

  • Has two speakers or one ? ??? Does anyone know ?

  • nice spec

  • I've tried two LG G Pad 8 LTEs and voice calls aren't working on them. Edge and 3G are only for data?

  • Why no stylus?

  • I wonder when they will make a worthy replacement for the g pad 8.3

  • great phone :)

  • Yeah, it would be great for a phone. Did you even notice that this is A TABLET? :)

  • Wow 4200 mAh battery will be beyond amazing , this phone will beat them all
