I have had my phone for two years, ever since my Samsung S6 Edge died after not even a full year of use. The ONLY thing I miss is the camera. This phone is much better for multiple reasons: it can hold an SD card and is dual-sim (good even if I don't use that option), the battery can be removed without the needing professionals (and payment), it witstands falling much better (it only has a few scratches and hasn't died yet, unlike the S6), it was much cheaper because it isn't a big name like Samsung... I like this phone so much I got a second one second-hand (also LG K10). My first one has no big camera problems, only the issue of memory being taken up all the time (I blame Whatsapp and Instagram). The second one, however, has the problem mentioned in other people's comments here. I just cannot make it focus for the life of me. Sometimes shaking it around makes it work, but there's no sure-fire way to do it. I use the second one for any apps I want to have but that don't fit on the first phone, and it's great. One big thing I would like to say, however, is that the phone has a problem with wifi. It simply cannot see some and therefore cannot connect to them at all. Even if it worked once, when it decides it can't, you can't make it work again (trust me, I've tried). This is only a problem with the second-hand one, the first one only experiences something similar right after I boot it up after it crashes from low battery. Then it cannot see my home wifi, for example, but only for a few minutes.

Using the European version almost 2 years and every day a lot. Sure battery life drains with time. Yes it switches off by itself at around 40% battery or even 70% would need factory reset. Then it probably would be faster again too. The material and display is great for me see previous review above but the camera is a big issue. Not focusing with the installed app. Another app is focusing but too slow to capture. And bugs with rotating and alerts coming in when taking photos. I tried a choice of apps but i haven't found a good one yet each one has a drawback. Someone can recommend a good cam app for this phone?

I always used lower end smart phones (except iPhone 4) and this is the the peak model so far. The plastic housing is ok for me. Very slim. For me the display is excellent - large, good contrast and sharp, maybe turns into pink a bit but you can see it only when comparing to another phone better than blueish. You always wish it would work faster. Mem is 8GB the problem i couldn't solve is that the internal memory fills up the first phone this issue comes up with biggest mem ever. I had several Huaweis before. Usually it saves data on the SD card though some apps do not offer that setting (free cam apps). The pre installed camera is biggest fail it doesn't focus. With flash and zoom it's ok. I instaled another cam app. Great price/quality.

This phone does not do 1080p just 720p and under... Battery life is OK if you aren't using it for gaming. No fingerprint scanner. Runs very quickly. Added bonus of a removable back and battery. Really good camera. Doesn't do fast charge. If you's have any questions about the UK Version just ask me :)

i am using this phone since last one and half year. i am quite satisfied with phone. there are some cons for this one -major is built quality is so cheap -battery drains so fast specially when at 15%. if it is 15% you hardly get 10 minutes to use it. -updates are so late that as on date i am having security patches from Apr-17 (Yes it is 2017 of course) after contacting manufacturer they deny to provide any future updates including security patches as as well. -Camera quality is below expectation. go for MI or OPPO or VIVO. they are offering more then LG. so if you are planning to buy this phone don't go for it. you are giving your money to the hands who don't care for you.

For me Android 8.1 just arrived today so I guess that means I'm good with upgrading for another year, thanks LG. Phone works as you'd expect, no major lags or stutters, I don't play games so can't say much about that but for Viber/YouTube/Twitter, Web on the bus, and puzzle games it works great. Doubt you can beat it at the price (was a bit under 150€ for me)

I have this phone for 7 months and all I can say is This device is great ! Its a midrange phone so I dont expect a lot from it. The screen is great, speakers are loud, battery life is great (one day of heavy usage). Camera is very good, front facing camera has a wide angle... Performace of this device is very good, everything is so smooth without any lag, apps are fast, you can play most of the games without lag (GTA: San Andreas, Real Racing 3, Asphalt 8...). For this price range is a very good phone and I recommend it if you want to buy it. ;)

I have this phone for some 9 months. The bathery cosumption was not so great, 2-3% per three houres on standby, 3-4% WIFI on, some 21% per three houres with mobile data ON(this is bad). For the last week battery consumption has gone crazy, 7-8% per three houres on standby, this is bullshit. I have the same camera focuse problem like the others, for the most of the time it looks like ther is no focus. Android 7.0 is slightlly modified by LG , lack some features. Dual SIM feature is total crap, you will end up manually handling SIM for the next call, or you can end up using wrong SIM.At the beggining i thought this is OK smatphone, but not any more. I has indonesian version. Had 2gb ram & 16gb internal storage. It has fingerprint doubled as power button mounted on back. Mine using more than 1 year and performance still good. It's smoother than honor 7a imho. The drawback is screen, it suffer from outdoor usage. Screen quality itself ispretty good, viewing angleis wide & has good color.

Got this phone in first grade european quality since 6 months. I use it a lot with data (fb, msgr, email) not for calls or texting. The highest specs phone i ever owned, and i had i.e. many cheaper Huaweis. Pretty happy but the camera is ridiculous it doesn't focus (a usd 30 Huawei is better) except if i zoom in or use flash then the photos are sharp. Went through the settings but didn't find anything what could cause this problem. Think if it is faulty? I was told to touch the screen at the spot i want it sharp but that's too much to ask a user isn't it? ..and works just sometimes

This is most worst mobile which, I've bought in my life for the first time. It get's heated even the phone is idle. Camera quality is very poor. Sometimes ringtone getting disabled. I'm facing so many problems due to this, I'm missing important calls. Switch off the mobile automatically. Only one benefit for this mobile is just for looking is great. I was so tempted to buy this phone. The removable battery is the main selling point for me. Unfortunately this phone doesn't have a dedicated LED notification light (which is essential for me). I would actually pay a bit more for an LED notification light. I've also read that this phone also has sound quality/speaker issues. It's a shame. It's decent enough but I'll keep looking for another phone..

i got this phone 2 months ago, coming from iphone 4 this feels huge, can't take it in front pocket without feeling discomfort when walking. the camera on this phone is bad is very hard to focus it when taking photos so they turn out blurry, also the speaker is horrible downloading an equalizer helps a bit but those don't work on system files so your ringtones will sound very bad the baterry last a day under heavy use, up to three days on light use so far i dropped it once, without any protection on it, it didn't break. also seems to had good carrier signal, not having problems where others tend to have

Bad ergonomics and washed out display. But back camera is pretty good and I don't know about the front facing camera, since I've never using it. Performance is OK, rarely lags. Speakerphone is loud, on trebly side, and earpiece is pretty clear. 16GB internal storage is occupied by 6.8 GB of system files on NRD90U build number.

As LG is a good option for phone users and its name and fame both are available from many years of hard work. As they are known for their qualities and life of goods. In K10 2017 they offered sleek and unique golden frame design, maximum screen size which is good and enough for users and its hard screen protective glass is good and not an easy breakable. But lg did not did a good work in its phone that why lg most times goes with MT chips for processors, and also sometimes they offered less storage and ram. but their UI theme is good and could be better than this but no need, as in future it can be needed. They needed to do work with camera, its autofocus and sensor because sometimes it's creating problem to open this phone. Battery is damn good and it works well.Its Fingerprint sensor is not working well and in nights and having problem in taking screenshot. Sometimes its speed get slows down thus we need restart this phone. Sound quality is good. It is having good feature in writing option that we can write on the screen as we use to write through our hand in the copy. One more feature of that we can adjust phone buttons like back,minimize, home buttons and keybord also. And weight is medium. In all they can do far better with this phone related to sensors, processors little bit storages and ram also.

To all of you who blame this phone: for the price ( I bought it for €130) you simply CAN'T get a better phone. You must look elsewhere and pay twice as much to have better hardware. I looked at Motorola, HTC, Huawei... They all are pricier for the same specs. Some are a bit better as Xiaomi and some other Chinese, but they are not so reliable and may have problems with UI. And nearly every Chinese competitor is slightly more expensive. So LG has done evrything right with this phone- you can't do better for €130. My previous phone was LG G2 Mini and it worked flawlessly for 3 years until I dropped it on a hard floor...

You must be sure you have switched off all the unnecessary/Unused features like Location, WiFI, Bluetooth, Synchronisation, 4G, 3G Network. Most of them are used ONLY for Data. This way I easily reach 100 + hours on my K10 2017(M250E). You can also switch the Update to Manual Mode instead to Automatic and the Display to Auto as well. All of this works nicely and don't take any time at all to me.

I'm 100% sure the screen has pretty good scratch resistant.. It has been 4 month since i bought and i dont put any protection on it and it's still good as new. Hope it help.

This is a good all round mobile phone, nothing spectacular. But out of the box it seems to have some kind of battery drain bug, with android os just draining the battery in standby. You can barely make it through a day, with less than 3h of on screen time. I fiddled around, and it seems that the battery bug is gone. Tried different things among others, turned off LTE, limited background data, disabled account syncing, and many other. Then finally changed the default LG launcher and installed the Google now launcher. Don't know if this actually did the trick. I have been testing it for a couple of days and it seems that the battery drain is gone, at least for now. My phone is on 3g in standby for last 10 hours and used up only 9% of battery. Yes that's right my phone is running for 10h in standby and still holds a charge at 91% wow. Yesterday got 5 hours of on screen time. So for all of you having battery drain problems try changing the default launcher.

Totally Sucks! I regret buying this worthless phone. It read my 32GB Micro SD Card for a week then suddenly it can't. I saw the micro sd card slot pins are criss-crossed. I tried using the card to samsung phones it is working. I tried to return it to the store, They replaced the mother board with a criss-crossed micro sd card slot pins again. I tried returning it again but they won't accept they told me to go to their main service center which is within a normally heavy traffic area which is so much inconvenient. Anyway, the price of this device now about $165, which is very reasonable price for the quality you'll get: fluid performance and multitasking, nougat out of the box, stable and fast LTE cat 6, super fast GPS, super wide angle selfie cam, removable battery, and good service center (at least in my city). South African version (LG-M250 mlv5_global_com) has no fingerprint sensor, lacks NFC, I am not sure if it's running an older GPU as it's the Mali-T860, not MP2 according to CPU-Z. 9.2GB Internal memory is available after OS and other things. Pros: - it's cheap - it has a power button on the back (coming from the LG G3S) - battery life usually lasts the day with medium usage (some would say high as it spends near 3 hours a day in a no signal zone) - RAM and CPU are enough to make it so that I can run music, IM and a video at the same time without any stuttering. Switching between apps is also smooth. - Front Camera is nice - Moderately good speakers for a cheap phone, better than a lot of other mid-range devices Cons: - Prones to randomly heating up and battery will drain quickly. I've checked CPU load, it doesn't go over 15%. This might be a problem with Doze that they fixed in Android 7.1 - a 720p screen. Sharpness is nicer than other similar resolution phones, but it is noticeably less sharper than 1080p - No NFC > was a requirement, it's why I'm selling this phone, or if I can't, dropping it in a drawer. Not sure why they stripped it as it's the same price as the models that do contain it. Need it for electronic payments via phone and checking card balances on the go (apps use it to verify card) - The camera is horrendous when it comes to focus. Do not even attempt to take a picture of a page to send to someone, anything closer than 0.5 is always blurry. Landscape shots can also be terrible as it doesn't properly take photos of the blue sky. For shots indoors it's good enough, for medium shots outdoors where e.g. trees are blocking the sky and all focus is between 2m and 50m, the camera is good. It's just sad when the front camera has better focus than the back camera. - Lack of fingerprint sensor (not that I mind, but I assumed it had it as the European version has it) - Quite difficult to get the app drawer back, had to Google a guide. Why not have a pop-up on device set-up to ask if I want it? Just delete if I don't. I am unsure of whether this version has Bluetooth 4.1 or 4.2, I believe this to be 4.1 due to the power consumption, I have another device with 4.2 and measured the difference while using bluetooth playback on a 4.2 compatible car radio. Rather go with e.g. a Xiaomi Mi or something along those lines. I'd even recommend Samsung's devices over this, I feel insulted by this device, it could have been so much better and it's probably the reason why I am one of only 3 people I know who still have an LG device here, and those other two have the G6 due to my recommendation. They've completely lost the plot versus competitors.

It's not a flagship device. It's upper low range/lower midrange device . 277ppi is okay. I myself have a phone with 534ppi,so almost double. The LG G4. It's screen is glorious to put it mildly. But I've seen phones below 300ppi's and while not glorius,they were surprisingly nice. If something happened to my LG G4,I would be unable to afford something like it again,but todays 720p screens on 5" to 5 5" are actually quite decent. Well at least those on LG and Samsung devices.

My part time job as a Grab driver, I buy K10 2017 because the GPS very good, I compare with Xiaomi Redmi 4x with very poor GPS signal, but the problem is batery drain very fast, this device can stand by only 6 hours when Google maps on. By the way K10 2017 still best phone for GPS, can make more money for Grab driver too.

One of the most stable and durable phone in this price range.. I am using one for the last 3 months and have already dropped it twice, Lg phones are really rugged and durable. Specs wise one may not find it assertive however, its the optimization of software and better management of resources that does the job. camera is really awesome in day light however in low light it struggles to focus. I used to use LG phones 5-7 years ago switched back to lg after using samsung and sony, I can compare LG with sony in performance and sturdiness however samsung will not come closer to it in this price range for sure. The only con is it lakes too long to charge the battery.

I just bought this device, and i use this for 3 days. The main problem, well i dont think this is problem with all the plus poin like finger print, Wide angle front cam, Nougat out of the box, etc. But Battery issue is really2 bad on it, screen on time and charging time is too weak, but as i said. Buy K10 power or X power if you want to get fast charging and saving battery for fullday use. Anyway, i bought this device in Indonesia, so this is my opinion for K10 2017 Indonesian market.

Ruined my phone, Random shuts off has problem doing updates, etc. Just got a replacement for it yesterday got the same update notification this morning, guess what? It happened again. Real Review Here Just bought the device yesterday.. I got a fingerprint version for about $164 (Rp. 2.199.000) not so overpriced i though.. And here is my after-one-day-using review: Build Quality: Light weighted smartphone that i've ever had. It has an all plastic build, but metallic effect border does at least give it a bit of premium appeal. So far no "cracky" sound when i grab the device. The screen has a protection but dunno which one being used. Nothing to complain about the build quality. Display: The screen has a bit yellowish but not much. Auto brightness sensor little bit off but still handy if u often going around. The 2.5D curved glass should give some good effect i.e with home screen icon but it doesn't. The display has such a sharpening filter but i think its oversharphen (like a LG G3), also with the camera and video. It's rather annoying cause somewhat it ruined the quality when watching youtube or a movie. Could support up to 10 multitouch, but not so responssive even though it still capable handle some fast typing. Good viewing angles if u ask Camera Mediocre both rear and front, but the rear camera should give some good photography in bright sunlight. In low light don't ask. The front camera is capable to snap very wide angles like an action cam does, but again, with an average quality. Actually, the camera has very limited feature and option. Video quality has a stable 30 fps with average quality and also oversharpen. Battery My best record so far is 7 hours Screen on time in 1 day run, with combination of 4G and WiFi, half screen brightness, only browsing and taking some photo, and remain 15% . The charging time is around 3 hours from 5 - 100%. Audio Input and Output I found the audio quality on this device is pretty good, even though it doesn't have any in-build dts or equalizer, rather dissapoint indeed. The speaker quality just OK even its loud enough.. Mic quality is near good - average. Performance Actually im kinda surprised with the performance on this device, which is pretty good. Don't have any problem with some heavy tasks including high graphic gaming. Most of games run fluid but dont expect a flagship gaming experience. Very rarely lagging in the UI. The system seems really stable, however your software should be updated first. Anyway we have Android N 7.0 + June 2017 security patch some kind of rare on the budget level device. The temperature control also does a good job. RAM management on this device is one the best i found so far even it has only 2GB RAM. And finnaly the fingerprint performance also pretty well. Some Useful Features 1. Multi window 2. Double tap2wake and sleep 3. Screen DPI options (Small-normal-big) 4. Battery optimization (Doze) 5. Data saver mode (restrict background data connections in certain app) 6. 3 Home Screen mode! (Default, easy mode, and with apps drawer). 7. Using Fingerprint to take screenshot. 8. Theme and font. Well the button under the flashlight is a power button. It is also a fingerprint sensor. On the older version of the LG K10 there's no fingerprint sensor. By the way the fingerprint sensor is only available on the LG K10 (2017) version.

The OS and the phone system partition always take a good piece of the internal memory, you will never see any phone or computer HDD with their advertised capacity. If you have a phone with 16GB of internal memory, you will only have half of it, like 8GB available more o less depending of the brand and how much garbage apps are install (Bloatware)

Pros: This phone is fine camera, selfie camera with face recognision, has about 9Gb from 16Gb ocupied by Android 7.0 and bloatware. The LG backup worked fine from sd card from my old LG Leon h340n apps and phone numbers. The phone work very fast no lags. The video from youtube are played up to 720p. Cons: No fingerprint recognition. It maked an update but on phone specs remain the same V10d-EUR-XX even if he reported some V20d .... version. SD card unexpectedly erased message since the update, however the files are on SD card and readable - just annoying notification.

best phone ever upgrade from k10 2016 model to k10 2017 model.this model was awesome and far away from old version. difference camera is more advance than old, theres wide angel for selfie, otg supported, finger print at the back(note: not all version are supported like the in the Middle East), its more battery compare to old 0ne from 2300(old) to 2800 new. and the best part the multi function like split screen and multi window which old model doesn't have..RATE FOR THE PHONE OUT OF 10 is 8!!!!

Some versions of k10 (2017) do not have fingerprint sensor such as M250E and some versions do. you need to check your version. if it has, there is no need to do anything to activate it. the sensor will work itself when you turn your phone on. go to setting> general> about phone> common> to check your model number (version)

So please before you give a phone that is an improvement on a previous one bad comments make sure you actually have your facts straight. I resently upgraded to the LG K10 2017 and have no problems what so ever! The fingerprint scanner works as well as the NFC. Well done LG for this amazing phone!!

Be careful. Just bought this phone in South Africa, it is the LG K10 2017, model LG-M250Y. This phone does not have NFC, it does not have a fingerprint reader, it does not have a step detector, it's back camera is 12.29Mpx not 13Mpx, the front is 3.6Mpx not 5Mpx, the auto focus is worse than my LG G3S, the front cam's focus seems nicer than the back. Currently installing a software update, I hope it has an app drawer or I'm returning it. Software wise it's fine, it runs fast, the 2GB RAM is nice, even though the dpi is lower than the LG G3S, the screen seems more sharp. Rather get the P9 Lite or the Samsung J5, they're better phones within the same bracket, this thing is overpriced and gets cut-down in "poorer" markets.

I purchased this phone after I dropped my S7 and broke the screen. Well, I'd already paid 11 months on the jump plan with Tmobile. Long story short, they still wanted the $175 payment for the insurance on the S7, plus a huge down payment on an LG G5. I saw this phone on the wall and asked about it. Of course, the salesperson tried to deter me...because it was only $168. I bought the phone outright for $168 plus tax. I've had it for about 2 weeks now...have to say it's an impressive little phone. The battery lasts me all day and then some. Naturally, I don't game or anything like that. I use it for calls, texts, email....and the occasional youtube video. Honestly, every night, I have to run a full length movie on it to run the battery down so that I can plug it in overnight. The camera of course isn't as good as the S7 but it does suffice. I have to take pics for work but I don't need to see the hair on a bug's arse. The speaker is sufficient. I use a bluetooth headset anyway. Many people bash this phone but come one...don't purchase a $168 phone and expect it to operate like a flagship phone. Overall, it really is a surprisingly decent phone. It has the same cool features of the LG G3 like knock...no buttons on the front etc. Does not support fast charging...big deal. Get an extra battery and a cheap charging dock...carry a spare with you if you want to do high battery usage stuff. I have nothing negative to say about this great little phone.

I noticed in gsmarena's Hands-On from CES 2017 for this device that the reporter said the sensor "is pretty snappy and accurate" - did the reporter test it? Because it is refreshing. After Sony, Samsung, iPhone LG Magna was good choice. I was skeptic but I was wrong. Batery last for 1-2 days, I listen music at leaste 60min per day and spend around 2000minutes talking per mounth, around 3GB of internet and 1000 SMS + viber, whatsapp, FB.... It is a little slower phone then iPhone but it do everything it should do. Recording is good, picture are ok. For one regular costumer more then enough. A few people that I know that they have LG are happy with their phone also...good, cheap phone

Although I like the style and size, I'm not real thrilled with this phone. I've had it for a few days and I've started to get the hang of it. Formerly, I had an iPhone 4s and it was time to get a new phone since it was getting slower and some apps wouldn't upload whenever I wanted. The problem with this phone is the storage. I cannot download all the apps that I had on my iPhone. Still trying to see if the individual ringtones and notifications that I downloaded from an app with work with that contact. Of course, that could be how the app works and I can always delete it. If it had greater storage, I would be more pleased with this phone.

Same here, K10 was around 130-150€. You can buy a l9t of different things for that much, but Huawei has things like the black bars around the screens(same with Lenovo), Xiaomi is shit in the camera and sound department, and Samsung charges WAY too much for the J series over here, their lower midrange is non existent, anything fairly decent goes for more then 200 euros. LG at the very least offer Moto G level devices at a lower price, and with better build quality as well.

I hope they fixed all problems what i haw on curent k10 420n i mean durability, water and programms. Because price is big in 3rd cantry in the shop include something to protect it.

As I mentioned earlier.... Samsung is the only big brand name with OLED screen technology. Huawei is probably one of the best chinese manufacturers but it is still chinese. Their best selling point is they are always cheaper than korean Samsung and LG and offer a little bit more to attract their costumers, because they are still lacking of that trustie big brand name. They are definetley getting there, but slowly. And btw... that Enjoy 6 model with 4100mAh does not have fast charge, big batteries with no fast charge have more problems then advantages.

There we go again.. bashing the product for no reason :( One wants an OLED and thats great, but then go to samsung, aren`t they the only big brand mobile phone name with that screen technology? Then... another wants a bigger battery, for what? It has low-medium specs.. Just look at LG G5 with all those gigamega turbo everything and quad HD with only 2800mAh, and his battery last at least a day day and half. So how do you mean new K10 has a terrible battery? Now, here is what I´m thinking about looking at this new K10 ... A 2017 model of K10 is a pretty good improvement from last year K10, and design is changed for the better, finish and overall is closer to premium design phones even they are still from plastic. So all in all I hope it can retain that great value for a budget phone. At our place, last year K10 costs 145€.
