LG KP202 - User Reviews

  • Here is a review I wrote: The LG KP202 is one of Vodafone’s flip phones, launched in May 2007. It has 2048KB of storage, and no memory card slot. It has an 830mAh Lithium-Ion battery, and a 0.3 MP camera, with no video recorder. It has a 128x160 pixel screen, is 78g, and is 19.8mm thick. It comes in three colours: Purple, pink, and grey. On the front, it has a Vodafone logo, an LG logo, a camera and a small screen, which displays the date, time, battery status and network reception. It folds out to reveal a screen, which displays everything on the small screen on the front, just with colour; a keypad featuring all of the numbers, some arrow keys, selection keys, and an OK button. It also has a Ring button, Clear button and hang up button. It holds a mini-SIM, has SMS, EMS, MMS and Email, as well as a standard phone function for its communication. It has Java, which can be used for playing games such as the Tetris and Pac-Man demos which are preinstalled. It features a browser, which used to work with the internet, but has since been replaced as the app network has shut down. It also has features such as a predictive text function, which can be handy for texting. It has an alarm clock, calendar, tasks, memos, a calculator, a converter, a world clock and a stopwatch. It also has a camera and voice recorder. The battery usage is not wonderful, as my battery ran out after a 34s call. Also, calls and text are very expensive, as the phone is from 2007 and locked on a plan. You can set a ringtone, have contacts, and put pictures on those contacts. You can have phone call alerted to you by vibrations of ringtones. It does not have USB, an FM (or AM) radio, GPS, Bluetooth, WLAN or Wi-Fi. Being 2015, this is not a very advanced piece of equipment, and will be a major inconvenience if you just use it for day to day use. I do not recommend this as a good phone for regular use.

  • mine is now a ticking timebomb but i still love it cuz its comfortable ... it charges steadily .. n the battery alway runs dwn easily .....

  • take a new battary

  • it's very smart and coollllllll.

  • I have this set. But now when I call it's battery goes down and when I charge it, it will take 15 minute to charge,, What's the problem

  • I have had this phone for about 3 years and I am definately NOT pleased with it. It is very fat a bulky, i feel like i am carrying a rock in my pocket. Texting is difficult and whenever I take photos it freezes, and I cant even get photos on the computer. It has not bluetooh and not much memory. A good thing (bad for me) is that it WONT BREAK! I have done unimaginable things to break it so I can get a new one but it just wont budge! grr DO NOT GET THIS PHONE YOU WILL END UP HATING IT JUST LIKE ME.

  • security code un lock

  • Also known as MG230 in Brazil.

  • I have a LG KP 202 It is a wonderful phone yes I have had some complcations but I do not feel that is not entirly the phones fault. I have one problem where I have taken pictures which are very important to me, without being personal about it, my son was murderd and the only pictures I have are in my phone. How do I retrive them, I have just seen in the prfile for the phone that it does not carry a UBS Cable and I then I can't download them, could someone direct me as to how I can get all my pic. I am a novice in the data world. If I may pleaase find me at [email protected] Please. Thank You

  • this phone is the worst phone ever dont think on buying this its got the worse features good battery but we dont worry as the battery much and dont suffercate in buying a usb cable for this phone because this phone doesnt have a usb connection it doesnt support it so dont buy this phone worse one

  • I am trying to buy a data cable to pull my pictures off the phone but no one seems to have one. I order one off of ebay and it did not work sent it back and got another one from them that did not work. Do you know where I can buy one?

  • How do I charge it? The outlet is different than the typical ones, and the manual has a picture of a different kind of outlet I don't have! D:

  • I love it, is a little expensive compared to others with more functions, but it has good screen resolution, very light and nice software... Would like to include the data cable when u buy it!

  • yeah cause the user just me does not work for vodafone or any thing

  • this phone is so cool in pink

  • Vodafone Australia has this phone in black, pink, and red wine 'Feb 2008' for $69 down from $99.. its a great price for brand new phone. The pink is nice but the red wine coloured one is really nice..it would make a great Mothers day present. I'm going to have a look at the phone in store today.

  • this phone is so cool

  • I have this phone well the body is the same but Reference MG230, speaker, 8 MB memory, Pc connection, and all the functions of this one above... Excelent

  • ma mum has a KP202 and on gsmarena and every wea else saes that it doesnt have a speaka fone but ma mums does so i dont no wots up with that

  • I just bought it and 8 days later it stopped working (just turned off by itself and that was all) ... My cellphone company had to give me a new one. Certainly it has a really good sound and signal reception, but after my experience, if i could, i wouldn't have bough it.

  • no you cannot transfer any sms from one phone to another unless you forward it to other one

  • It's a very unsuccessful telephone - no stable conversation and no support. You can't get the photos by any way except by MMS. I'v wrote a leter to LG but get no answer.

  • how do u download games onto it via web on the phone?

  • You shouldn't be answering your phone while driving anyway...

  • can this do video record?

  • Nice and elegant phone but very unconfortable to answer to the phone when driving.

  • no 3g!

  • does anyone know how you can transfer a message from the phone's mmemory into sim's memory and viceversa?
