Well..I have to dissapoint u. I do have an LG KU800 chocolata, and I have, becouse I wanted so badly as U do. But: it does not worth the price. Nice phone, easy to use, but should be very delicate with the touch screen. Alwasy get dirty and may not work porperly. The accu is also bad. NOt good enough.I have Vista, and it does not sync with my phone...Though I have it from more than 1 year, but i totally regret I bought is.sorry

I'v used mine 4 ova a year now, from a friend who used it b4 selling it 2 me. The warmtouch misbehaves slightly when it gets too hot, from prolonged use; eg when browsing 4 long. But returns 2 normal after few minutes of 'rest'. LG KU800 is close to 100% durable, strong, seriously! Mine has fallen from shoulder-height on concrete surface, sometimes face down. It is still fit. So if the whole world tells u this fon is bad, Atta Kusi is telling u: THE WHOLE WORLD DON'T KNOW KU800.

Hey, i have the LG KU800 and its a great phone ! :) until two of the keypads slipped off while i was texting ! and i only had it for 4 days ! not even a week ! i took back into store baught it from, and they said they would fix it but it took 5 days ! my mum said really i should have gotten a new one ! but it dosent matter now its working fine but my battery never really lasts long which sucks, but apart from that everything is fine :)

Ok, so does anyone know if this phone comes in white? I know the non-3g chocolate (KG800) comes in white. I have a black KU800 and I wouldn't mind paying to change it to white, I've been searching over and over for the white housing! They sell white and black housings for the KG800 on Ebay but not KU800. this phone really sucks big, i have this phone and my brother got this phone too, i thought i had a faulty one but that was not the case, both mines and his have many problems. sometimes the phone would go blank on me, sometimes it would turn off by itself, freeze, or just wouldn't work, the battery life sucks. I have to charge it every 4 hours. I got a replacement but it stil doesn't do any good. I had to repair it 4 times in 3months. I strongly do not recommend this phone for anyone. This phone is very basic, the functions are basic and the phone sucks

i do not recommend this phone at all, its really faulty, sometimes my screen goes blank, it freezes, my battery life right now is about 2 minutes talking time and when i dial it doesnt appear on the screen becasue it goes blank, so theres no point txting.

I bought this phone because of the style and functionality...unfortunately I did not take into account the phone's battery life. The phone lasts for a horrendous 7 hours ON STANDBY; I got a replacement battery which ALSO lasted for 7 hours on standby. Yes, I charged the battery for 10 hours before first time use. I am not a fan of this phone at all! I bought it in October, it has been getting fixed for the past month. I have zero reception, ive even stood under the phone tower and it said i had no reception! It turns it self off randomly, it likes to freeze then the screen goes white and then when it reboots its self i've lost everything. It is very sensitive, it calls people by itself. I can hardly hear people when i am making a call (when it lets me). The last straw before i handed it in to get fixed was that i couldnt place or recieve calls. Shall be interesting to see when i finally get it back whether it is any good or not. But i'm already on the look out for a new phone!

i have had this phone for awhile now, and i like it, sure battery life not as good as it could be, but if you turn the display brightness down it helps alot, also i have my screen light turn off after 10 seconds which also helped. i havnt had any problems with the touch screen.

You are certainly going to be purchasing this cellphone style over essence The LG KU800 is a good quality phone, it is just extremely sensitive and needs a very careful owner. I have had two of these phones now and i have found out that most of the phone's problems is due to one design fault in the entire phone. It is a Flex cable connecting the top half of the phone to the bottom of the phone, the flex cable is shocking in design as it is very weak and the strong metal slider mechanism smacks against it when opening and closing, this wears it out causing the cable to bend and eventually snap, Hence white screens, touch sensitive not working, speaker not working etc. You can purchase the flex cables on ebay for around $10 and are fairly easy to install, installing a new flex cable will have your phone working like new again. I agree the battery life is schocking, the power save tends to help out a lot, but i prefer to have two batteries incase one goes flat when im out, i just change the batteries. I really hope LG will design a new Chocolate phone with a battery that lasts longer, a better quality screen, and less sensitive and stronger parts. I personally like the phone for its look and the use of the mp3 player.

I've only had this phone for UNDER a month and there's already something wrong with it. I've been very careful with this phone and have only really used it for txting and recharging it when it needs recharging. But for some reason while I was txting the other day the phone got really hot (still had the recharge cord on at the time but had fully recharged) so I took off the cord and left it for a few hours. When I returned a few hours later to reply to a txt, the phone had turned off and when I tried to turn it on, I couldn't because it was low on battery. Last I checked it was fully charged! Fully charged it again, took off the cord, left it overnight and it's telling me it's low on battery again! Looks like it won't recharge anymore. A few other people have mentioned a similar problem too. READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND LISTEN TO WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING. I got my mum to purchase this phone on a whim - instead I should've taken the time to so some research on the phone. Now I'm gonna see if I can get an exchange on the product. It's not worth it if problems are already starting to arise.

I have had this phone since March, I desperately wanted itfor quite a while and when i finally got it I was happy with it. Although now it's come to December I must say I am not sure it was a good move getting it. I find the touch screen too sensitive and you send things, call people by accident. The picture quality is quite poor and the flash does nothing and it is impossible to take pictures at night unless you have a torch. The battery is not great and i have to charge it every day to keep it going. All I can say is, Can't wait till March and i get a new one!!!

I have this phone for about a year now, and when I try to call someone, it tends to hang up on the first call and says "congestion" even when there's a full bar. Like everyone else says, the touchpad is very sensitive and the volume is not so loud either. What really sucks is it doesn't have a speaker. I wouldn't recommend it, unless you like to keep one for the nice design.

Sadly, this phone, as attractive as it looks is not one I would recommend. The battery life is terrible. The touch pad is VERY sensitive to the point of making me curse "and i dont swear" lol. I suppose if your a patient person you will tolerate this phone. The music is good and the video and camera facilities are very good. Prefer nokia myself, glad i was given this phone and never paid for it!!!!

But let me tell u,u will need to be very patient to use this phone,as the sensitive key pad is too sensitive sometimes,i also need to choose the number key to avoid the wrong option when i use it.in fact, i plan to change mine now,pls consider carefully b4 u buy it! For those of you who ask, YES, this is the Chocolate, but the updated version. Much better. It has 3G, epandable memory, 240 x 320 screen, much better 2MP Camera, streaming video, voice memo, almost double the battery life and it is slightly smaller (94.6 x 45.6 x 17mm) and slightly heavier (98g), giving it a more solid feel. All this plus the standard features listed the KG800, which is the original Chocolate. This updated version is a great phone.

This is the worst phone I have ever had. In one year it's gone back three times as it wouldn't charge properly. You need to charge it every five seconds and when you call a bank or something and need to press the number keys the touch does not register. I would never buy an LG phone again.

This phone is quite good, but there are aspects where it could have been improved. For instance while listening to a mp3, if you send a txt message, the song skips, also the battery life is SUCKS!, beside that the only other thing is all the fingerprints you get all over it, so you have to be wiping it all the time, otherwise its not a bad phone, touch-screen FTW!

Initially, I really wanted to get this phone badly 'cause the design's AWESOME! But then, after reading some of the user's comments, I'm rather confused. Some said its a good phone and some said its horrible. But honestly, I'm kinda disappointed by the screen quality! Its stated that Its 65! Which is even worse than the older model! And I wont get the older model 'cause the camera isn't good and it doesn't have a memory card slot! I�ve had this phone a while and have sent it back 4 times for repair, various common faults with this model (as I have had many a lengthy conversation with my o2) include: camera breaking, screen going completely white so the phone is completely un-useable and faulty connections to the ear piece so you can not hear when someone is talking to you (the last two seem to happen at the same time). I have also been advised that these are faults which many customers have experienced with this phone therefore I can only assume that there are some really bad design faults with it.

It does have speaker phone. The OS of prada phone is different from LG Ku800. Prada phone uses flash animation on their OS interface, not to mention it is 2G phone. Where KU800 is a 3G phone.

I have just brought the Phone and one thing ive noticed is that it doesnt have an infared port or an fm radio and it would be nice if it did. i have also found the touch pad to be sentive and one has to touch the botton three to four times for the command to work. and some times its ok. i wonder if anyone else is having the same problem ?

it seems some people here tend to make a confusion between KU 800 and KG 800. KU 800 is avaiable only in black, has 3 G and a better camera ( 2 MP instead of 1,3 ) and a card slot :) I have bought it today and am formatting its battery right now. I really think it has a wonderful design and the sound quality is very good. Haven't taken any photos yet .

Overall I like it but the thing is ... Putting my MP3 or music into the phone is like so "complicated"!!!! 'oly cow. I still do not know how to so I send an email to the LG service people. hi! i've had the phone for a few days now, and i really love it. it not only looks great, but the features are awesome. the sound quality is super and everything is so easy to use. the only problems that i've encountered is the touch keys and the whole vodafone thing. i've gotten used to the touch keys so i don't stuff up as much and i'm not sure how to make the phone less "vodafone"ish. it also annoys me how you cant have the flash on when you're taking photos while the phone is closed. i've always been a nokia user but i don't regret the switch at all.

i've had the chocolate now 4 just over 5 months and it is rubbish, i have the same problem that i see many have that the screen freezes and the keys are a nightmare to txt with, got to alway press them a couple of times before a letter will appear, but if that was'nt bad enough, that my stepdaughters one also started doin the same and we both got ours on the same day, so right now there in the shop to be fixed. i also find the camera rubbish too. the only good thing i can say about this phone is that it does really look stunning!!! but am afraid thats about as good as it gets!!! stay away!!

I haven't had this phone that long but so far have had no problems with it... It's not magic by any means and the camera isn't up to much but as a phone it is working well, haven't seen any signs of freezing or any menu navigation problems. to jmKx : Look and read properly before you comment. This is a KU800 .. not the original Chocolate KE800. This comes with a memory card slot. And frankly even for KE800 i've 6 friends using that phone and all with no complaints whatsoever except that it doesn't have a memory card slot.

How to install java games/apps Hi, I have a problem with my new LG KU800, hope you can help me Want to run some java application or game... I downloaded some free apps and games and upload it to the phone via bluetooth. I upload .jar and .jad files, keeping eye on java version (MIDP 2.0). On the web it says that it is compatible with KU800 It stores in Bluetooth files. any time I trie to run .jad or .jar file a message pop-up says "this operation is permitted" Can you give me a hand with it? I've had this phone for about 2 months and i think its a great phone.. i dont know where people get all those freezing and stuff.. Pros: It's small, has a lot of options, the reception is awesome, looks great, the camera takes great pictures. Cons: Maybe they could have included some other options, like word, excel, powerpoint recognition, radio and small stuff like that.. Anyway its a great phone and i recomend it.

I find this phone very fustrating!! and recommend you to NOT make the purchase regardless of how visually appealing the phone is. It never has any reception, it's difficult to make a call because it starts flicking through different screens when you're trying to do something, it hangs up in the middle of calls if you hit any button by accident (which it's easy to do). I was really disappointed with this phone. I really like how it looks but it has a lot of problems. It has bad connection, it puts my calls on hold on its own, it texts blank messages to people on its own, when im talking it starts pressing numbers when my finger isn't pressing anything. I don't know if it's only my phone that has all these problems but you might want to look out for these problems.

I bought this phone yesteday and it's sexy just like its mama... the MP3 player is awesome, nice equaliser graphics...the only thing I would say is that my Sony Ericsson camera was a little brighter not better...BRIGHTER besides that I love my new phone.

i've had this phone for a month now and it is really great. i love the design and its been working fine, but the only problem is that when im in a hurry or arent paying attention, sometimes my cheek touches the hang-up button and i hang up on the person im talking to right in the middle of our conversation. the dreaded fat-face hang-up!!!...maybe that could've been the "freezing problem"??

i bought this phone 2 months ago, and i regret. Design is just SEXY(no other words to describe its design), but it freezes FREQUENTLY. First 2 days, it worked fine. But after 2 days, it just freezes when i'm calling my friends. While it freezes, i cannot recieve calls from friend or anyone. If you have a lot of money or eager to get sexy phone, buy it. won't regret it. But i recommend not to buy it because of its freezing issues (I asked my friend who bought this phone, and she had same problem).

When will LG listen to you & I, guess never but we are the people buying there phones. The best phone they made was U8380 (flip phone) I just got offered a free Motorola raz a good loking phone but No where as good as LG U8380. I can't record voices on Motorola while on the phone. 8380 Its great when you havent got a pen & paper, Simply record phone or address. To edit photos its easy, When multi messaging 8380 better. The list goes on & on. LG i know why you don't listen to the public. You need to improve the look of your phones your going off the rails with the last 5 phones you brought out. A concern consumer.

I guess, it's quite good as it's already 3G enabled and camera improved. My bro is using the KG800 and for me, the saddest thing about the phone (and in this model also) is that they lack some features which they should have. Besides, in my opinion, the touch screen is not user handy. I find it difficult to adjust my self to it. Another missing point is that this phone can not be used for multitasking. Although the design is very good, I can say that they are not handy to be used.

The numeric keypad has been made smaller on the LG KU800 compared to the KG800. It's a bad choice since it makes the bottom half of the phone now looks slightly out of proportion to the top half when phone is slid open. Isn't design supposed to be this phones strong point LG? It was an unessasery change on a design phone, beacuse that's what it is...still.

the reason why i said motorola's design suck because of the RAZR MAXX and RAZR V3XX (especially the ROKR E2). don't you feel they are extremely ugly? who on earth will carry a phone embedded with a dragon (whatever it is) unless a little brat. let alone the features, ku800/kg800 is the best design ever and there is no plastic feel. hold it and you will find it so elegant. I guarantee there is no other phones will attract your interest anymore!

motorola's design is sucky nowadays? the RAZR maxx looks ten times better than this with HSDPA (instead of slow old 384kbps UMTS), a QVGA screen, EDGE Class 10 and Bluetooth 2.0 while being about 2-3mm thinner. LG didn't even bother changing the design in any way. at least moto came with a different design when they made their UMTS RAZR, the V3x. LG is the one with sucky design. and this phone is just as plasticky as any nokia.

motorola's design is sucking nowadays. Nokia is well-known of its plastic look...people it's time for a change and enhance your sense of taste by using LG. we don't need useless fancy features as the main purpose of carrying a handphone is for calling...

this phone is pretty decent. Better than last chocolate phone because of camera and a few more options that most of you guys might not need vitally. The screen quality is not the best. But the sound quality for the speakers are going to be AMAZING. 72 polypony is only out for a FEW phones. In korea, that's a different story. The e900 is still better because of the screen quality. Don't say e900 copied because the touch buttons are better made and configured.

This is a better effort by LG, they got wooped when Samsung brought out the E900, but they have added the all important memory card support and 3G, which the E900 does not have. But still, the firmware is awkward, and the LG make is highly unreliable. To all the moaners below, LG do have their followers, and this phone WILL attract people to Voda.

This fone is rubbish!! how can u compare it to the samsung e900? the samsung is so much better! the lg has a 1.3 meg camera which is rubbish! and this fone is like 3 times as big as the samsung ! dont get this fone get the samsung e900!!

what garbage. no EDGE, only old moldy UMTS 384kbps? 65,000 color screen? weak battery? this is a pathetic effort on LG's behalf. they think this can compete with the powerful Motorola RAZR maxx? 3.6mbps HSDPA, QVGA screen, EDGE Class 10, Bluetooth 2.0 w/A2DP and EDR, Opera HTML browser, NVIDIA GoForce graphics chip. all in a slimmer package yet with better battery life. LG has another thing coming!! the only people offering any real competition is samsung. this is pathetic!!
