Huawei Mate 30 - User Reviews

  • Nice specs but ugly back design. An Android phone without Google apps hasn't worth of buying.

  • That's the problem with most mainstream Youtube reviewers...no love for the "non-Pro" versions.

  • I have been searching reviews for the Mate 30 but only find few youtube vids. Most reviews were for Mate 30 Pro. So this just means that the Mate 30 is a joke and unnecessary Huawei product that even North Korean won't buy.

  • around 6000 to 6500 yuan pro and regular around 4.399sth

  • china sell mate 30 and pro how much ?

  • Something about endurance rating?

  • Latest News is blocked by Google Inc already. After a tech expert announced a back door on Huaiwei device can side download the Google package. The Google Inc block it after the News came out.

  • Oh,can't side download Google services and play. The end of Huawei already.Comfired by global news source!

  • No, you really can't. There was a backdoor exposed but that "slammed shut" and is no longer available, at least from what I've read.

  • I think it's too big

  • Wow this is the greatest news I am waiting to hear. You can download Google apps to use on Mate 30? This is a good good news for we the Huawei Mate lovers.

  • I bought mate 30 yesterday, and now I successed to set google apps in the phone. You can find the method in the youtube, and very easy to do it.

  • Can i download Google apps latter? Like fb, chrome etc? How?

  • It says 550€

  • I do.😄😄😄&#128516;

  • It's a good new, no matter what some brands say by trying to make it seem like something obsolete and useless, right Apple? The 3.5 jack is still needed.

  • How good it mat be, no way i will buy a phone without Google Playstore, Maps, etc. End of story for Huawei, back to China only.

  • Hey look, a headphone jack!

  • Mate 30 have FM I wish I can upload pics

  • I will buy direct from China....Price will be more cheaper ...Am a Phone vendor . Anyway...M Just waiting for the Phone Reviews..

  • Actually if you compare prices of phones from a few years ago, you can get very good midrange phones for much cheaper prices than before (mostly thanks to the chineses)...just don't buy the flagships wich will be obsolete very fast anyway.

  • Am surprise some people complaining about this mate 30 price....This is the same price with P30 6+128g version that was launched earlier this year while this mate 30 is 8+128 for €799 ....it's good deal compare to P30...and more compact than mate 20 almost buy it last week...my waiting really worth it

  • 800 EUR??? Omg. It's overpriced 😕😕😕

  • Last year, the Mate 20X was the phone to buy more than the 20 Pro and then the 20 but this year, I think I prefer the Mate 30 over the Pro. Sure, I don't get IP68, nor OIS in the primary camera lens, or the slightly beefier battery but the Mate 30 has band 66 (perfect for Floridians with T-Mobile), HEADPHONE JACK, is MUCH cheaper, and still has most of the stuff that works for me (Stereo Speakers, expandable memory [I don't care for NM but it's still better than what Xiaomi, OnePlus, Apple, Google, and Nubia offer in terms of expandable memory...which is NOTHING], 32-bit audio playback, OLED display, fast charging, big battery, and triple camera). Will I get it? I mean, it's not hard to side-load Google services onto a phone honestly. Maybe when the price goes down, I'll consider it because the Kirin 990 is a MAJOR step up from the 980 considering it finally takes 4K video at 60fps.

  • Blame Apple for the insane prices of the smartphones these days

  • So what? What's the point to have tiny stereo speakers. Much worth a 3.5mm jack with a nice DAC

  • First camera sensor really 1/1.54"? Better than 30 Pro?

  • sour grape

  • Not stereo speakers. Mono, bottom-firing speaker only.

  • There is no deny, there are massively oversized, but price is still lower than Samsung and Apple. Yet no other manufacturer can offer you high quality ultrawide camera.

  • Play Store is not the only source for Android apps. There are plenty of stores and content distribution services. And Huawei has its own App Gallery.

  • I think this phone actually looks better with the wider notch of the pro version.

  • Been looking for an Android phone without Google apps. This would be a perfect phone for me but for the price.😭😭😭

  • I can't eat the price lmao. :3

  • Whats the point...? Without Google Play and all the Google products, this phone is useless. I thought Huawei will come up with their own OS and services to rival goofle... but this shows Huawei is slowly dieing

  • Someone smoking crack. 1100 euro android without android features.

  • I wouldn't buy any of these phones because of price but especially the expensive Pro. I might have considered the less expensive regular Mate but it is too huge, much wider and taller than the Pro. Too big for my shirt pocket and small hand. It was the same problem with the Mate 20. At least Samsung makes as small enough S phone

  • IP53???

  • it is not Mate 30 Pro , check it

  • why?

  • yes, I have seen those. there were many designs at those days and all of them had round corners, and some had rounded body too. you please google.

  • That can be an old movie showing a B&W TV during the 90s when colored TVs were the usual sets. And mind you, TV screens back then until 2000s were rounded but not the corners of the cases in entirety. Have you seen those TVs with picture tubes and back casing before the advent of the flat screens?

  • What's on fourth rear camera and the second front camera? GsmArena doesn't mention it on the full spec page.

  • When i look the price i got shucked .

  • I don't have a photo of that TV, it was dead before I have got a camera in my hand. that was a Panasonic TV, Made in Japan. you may google for a photo or if you watch an old cinema and if there is any scene with a TV, you will notice how the screens were at that time. check it out

  • Can you share any pics or brand model of those round cornered B&W TVs way back 25 years ago (1990s)? Your preference with the looks of any phone is somewhat personal which may not affect the marketing strategy of any OEMs not unless you can garner a million signature petition.

  • 32-bit/384kHz audio WOW. And headphone jack. This is amazing.

  • I saw all the specification on Huawei online store at JD.com.....it has FM Radio ........If it's true I will be very happy to get this mate 30 4g Version .....

  • Awesome not like s brand. This pro little brother got 2k reso secreen, big screen size and 4200mah battery

  • Wow cool phone purchasing it is very hard cause of the coolness

  • 25 years back, we had a black&white TV which had a round-cornered screen like today's phones' have. I'm confused, that round-cornered B&W TV was 25 years advanced or today's phone's screens are going 25 years back! Anyway, I just hate this round-cornered screen. Modern TVs and Computers and almost every display have a rectangular sharp-corner screen.
