Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro - User Reviews

  • Pls how do you get yours in nigeria, i really want this yoga 3 pro

  • Do you have service centre in Nigeria. I want to update my system to 5.0 but not possible please. How do I update my Lenovo pro 3

  • what is the device type of this (yoga 2) tablet? is it MHL or slimport device???

  • Sorry forgot to mention, mine came with a free sleeve cover, which would normally set you back £20, some are selling them for £30.

  • Since that first day, still taking 5 to 6 hours to charge, with regards to sdxc cards they are recognised but have to be formatted first. Watched a video file on the internal memory and it played fine, so those two problems sorted. Yes not pleased with 2 home screens but I suppose better than having none at all. Overall a wonderful piece of tech, display is very impressive, sharp and vivid, viewing angles are excellent, sound is also very good, build quality is excellent and it's not that heavy, and certainly not too heavy to hold. It's certainly a joy to look at, would recommend this to anyone, purchased mine for just £250 from www.webuy.com. By the way is you get a sim card you can text but you can't voice call.

  • Not a good start, just had this tablet, battery level gone right down from 12% to zero while charging, won't play twitter videos properly, stuttering too much, only 2 home screens, let version will only allow sms and data but no voice calling, and lastly won't recognise any sdxc micro,sd cards and won't recognise most video file formats, by the way mine was already, updated to 5.0.1.

  • I am an artist, I would like to know if this tablet supports drawing applications, and if it uses stylus.

  • Does it have fingerprint lock

  • As far as I know there's a built-in projector on the side of the Yoga Tab

  • Can i do PowerPoint presentations on this?? And can this tablet be connected to a projector??

  • Had the OTG problem you mentioned and had to return mine. Recently bought another one because I missed that big screen and now transfer date using sd card.

  • thanks very much for the info, pal. best regards

  • my old yoga beats ipad 3.. and you have to accept this is ahead in all ramifications... Lenovo is just awesom.. i old yoga 10.1 last 18hours indeed with heavy usage and up to 4 days on the average... i wish i can upgrade to this one...

  • Great feature they built-in the Yoga 2 Pro! I love the projector so much! I was reading about it here: Might also be intersting for those of you, who haven't decided yet... It's worth it!

  • Yes

  • is it have projector?

  • I think you are wrong. Look carefully at gsmarena.com there at the top line sentence. It stated: Available with LTE/3G/Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi only support Tablet with no support for GSM voice communication

  • yes it can

  • When update the android 5.0 lolipop

  • Just another band wagon jumper thinks it can out do the i pad 3

  • Please, sir, could you tell me if this device is able to make voice calls and receive and send SMS? thank you. SERGIO, Rio, Brazil

  • Waste of money, time hand nervse. It freezes every time its charging.battery life is in last century. And screen typing is very difficult, it seems that it needs calibration every day.

  • Try sports. Does anyone know good battery extension?

  • Bought Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, around 2 months back. I would like to share some pro and cons about this device. Pro: Screen size Multi mode stand Pico projector Cons: It's Heavy, Built quality is not as suppose to be Sound is satisfactory One hand holding is not comfortable due to heavy weight and battery design on bottom of the device. Battery is not as promised even on normal use. conclusion: If the requirement for in house entertainment this is the best device with large screen, Projector and decent sound. But NOT suitable for travelers to carry huge tab with heavy weight and compromising battery backup.

  • A very good tablet. Its battery life is very good.

  • I got two of that in my family, It is the best tablet I had. But a serious problem is the OTG, some devices can make it no longer able to charge up.

  • Good to know people are out there to protect consumer rights. Just hope its enforced. Luckily Amazon (although tax dodgers) have excellent customer services. Sent it back. Got a 2013 2gig ram nexus 7 for £150 from ebay. Once I installed nova launcher on this I'm very happy. Would recommend. Definite better battery life than the lenovo pro 2 and all round performance is good.

  • Correction: 1 July 2014 should have said 1 July 2015.

  • @robo Regulation 41 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 came into force on 13 June 2014 and requires post sales helplines to use 01, 02, 03 or 080 numbers and not use 084, 087 or 09 numbers. Where a non-compliant number is offered, Regulation 41(2) gives you the right to a refund of your call costs over and above whatever an equivalent call to an 01, 02 or 03 number would have cost. Additionally, from 1 July 2014 all users of 084, 087 and 09 numbers are required to justify their Service Charge and declare it wherever their number is advertised, else change their number to stop imposing it. Ofcom made replacement matching 03 numbers available in 2007 for this purpose.

  • man that's the awesome tablets i've seen with 13.3inches is so huge i wanna buy one too

  • I am in Indonesia. I bought Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro with Android 4.4.2 have Micro SIM Card Slot. Don't know yet support or not 4G. This is awesome tablet but battery life is not so good battery life. I am not heavy use for games, I just browsing with half brightness, from unplug charger 100% until 60% just around 2 hours.

  • does this have 4g/3g? can it go internet without WIFI by using sim?? tell me soooon

  • I'm returning mine for refund due to tablet freezing and having to hold power button down to reset when it does. If this tablet worked as claimed would be a good piece of tech.

  • Amazon lte version was £470 ($731 601) not sure of WiFi only price.

  • Can you tell me how much you bought it? The wifi only and in USD. Thanks.

  • Had this one day now. So far its refused to turn on after I left charging over night(eventually did get it to work) and battery life is not 15hrs. Down to 75percent after 1hr 5mins. Mostly this was browsing for tech support for lenovo which seems hard to come across. Found the landline number but that redirects you to 0845 number. Not very happy. If it worked as it is supposed to would be a good product. As the touch sensitivity is good, screen good and sound good.

  • This is pretty good. Responsive good quality screen. Sound is good. Only just got it so more product testing required.

  • You have got the processor speed wrong. It's a 1.86ghz.

  • what's the LTE frequency?

  • it can use as a projector....
