I have only had this phone for a couple months and it seems to be having issues. The biggest issues are with screen brightness and screen timeout keeps switching back to 15 secs. And a few times the phone restarts. I actually think I liked my lg3 better but I dropped it and the screen broke so ended up buying this one 😥

I've had this phone for nearly 3 year now and I can say it is a good phone. As I have heard some say it does have an issue sometime with failing to get texts but all you have to do is turn on the phone and pull the battery out while the screen is active, wait15 seconds and turn it back on. I was able to update to ICS perfectly and have had no issues there so maybe I was lucky or others talking about issues with ICS have bad luck, who knows. I've dropped it a few times on to hard surfaces(hard tile, open road construction, and large gravel) and have had no issues. Durable, decent enough camera and good call quality. Kind of sad to be trading her in for a G3, but LG has won a customer here.

amazing phone aside from battery life, very durable phone, mine has fallen into two rivers, been driven over with a 1 ton chevy with 2 tons of salt and a quad in the box, lasted 5 minutes in the river and even lit up on the river bed when i called it to find it. dropped it millions of times, played hacky sack with it intoxicated even, screen never cracked on it ever, only needed to replace to battery due to water damage. Very Solid Phone!!!

Had this for 2+ years and upgraded the OS to 4.0.4 and it then started crashing so much that it pretty much bricked the phone. Customer service at Telus confirmed by saying that the phone was a dud and the update breaks it. Do not buy this phone - and if you already own it do not update it using the update provided by LG.

I was happy with my LG P935 in all aspects for about the first 4 months I had it, then the phone simply stopped recieving text messages. It would send text messages and every other function continued to work correctly but no messages would be recieved. After many calls to tech support with my service provider and with LG, I was told I had to reset the phone to original factory specs, which meant that anything that was not backed up or saved elsewhere would be lost, including apps that I had paid for. After a factory reset/reboot everything worked well again for about 2 months, when the phone refused to receive text messages again. After repeated failures to receive text messages, 4 or 5 more resets over the following 8 months and many calls to customer support, I was informed that this was a software problem and there was no update or fix for it. I had 2 choices, keep losing text message recieving capability and continue to reset the phone on an increasingly more frequent basis, or replace the phone. I replaced the phone with a Samsung and am quite happy with this one. If you own an LG P935, I wish you luck!

I'm just modding this phone now, and realized that this was a real crappy replacement for the Motorola Atrix 4G MB860 that Bell stocked in the store. Sure, the extra .5" on the screen is nice, and the extra .5 Ghz on the dual core is appreciated,,,,,, But,,,,, ONLY 2GB interior storage? I cant get what I need on this phone even with Apps to SD. Some apps wont even load if they are installed in 'mnt/sd ext/' MOTOROLA ATRIX ,,,,thanks for the 16Gb storage (and the true HDMI out).

LG has made many a great phone. You just might have gotten a dub.I have had mine for about a month and had no problems what so ever. Lags abit but for the price you can't get much better

Its a decent cheap LTE phone. But it has a glitch which makes it restart RANDOMLY and can be extremely annoying when you're in the middle of listening to a lecture or typing a message. Beware - buy at your own risk.

I've had it for over 1 year (2012) and had very little issues. Once in a while it restarts (perhaps from overheating). It is my first smartphone and I have been using it quite a lot. Messaging, taking pictures, reading (pdf,word,ppt), making notes, gps, stocks, weather, and so on. The battery life seams short (I am not sure how it is for other similar devices) but It lasts me a day. I turn read during my commute, i text at work (sorry boss) and watch some clips once in a while. I have dropped it once from a chair and had no problems. The only thing that anoys me is the fact that I can't mute the sound when I take pictures. Maybe it's just something I don't know about. In all, this has been and still is a very good device.

I have absolutely no problem with the phone I think my picture is awesome. It has turned off before and I pull out the battery for about 10 seconds and turn it back on that's only because I sometimes overheat it and I don't really turn it off. All and all the phone is actually amazing and its good if you plug it into your computer and update it through the LG site it takes no time and all and does it for you. I have had no problems with the phone I have even dropped it about 3 times and I don't have a case and it still works like a charm.

I've had this phone for about 2 weeks and already the speaket has broke... meaning I can't watch videos on it or listen to music and also it won't turn on half the time or when I plug it in to charge it it will shut off and won't turn on for about an hour later. Also when it does finally turn on it has like the red ring around the edges of the screen.. soooo unhappy with this phone like common 2 weeks old brand new and already its no good I'll be going back to my blackberry that's for sure... junk

go for lg optimus lte...the screen is true hd.ips .if you have a phonewith 5ghz dualcore cpu and the scren is not good you will not feel as comfortable as the phone with 1 .5 gh single core with crystal clear hd display.like lg optimus lte....samsung screen always sucks...the colour tone looks fake..the red is too red...green is too green...lg optimus lte true hd ips shows you exactly the same as the y appear to normal eye.

Terrible phone that feels rushed to market. I was sold this phone soon after its launch and it was toted as being a fast, long-lasting LTE phone. Out of the box response time was good and battery life was around 6 hours with moderate use and no battery optimizer. Since then I have had to send the phone for repair 3 times and have done the user reset 5 times to just keep it running. Battery life is now 4 hours with intermittent texting, low screen brightness, and battery optimizer. I do not use apps, aside from the calendar, text, and email and still cannot stretch the battery life. Frequent crashing and freezing.

I got this phone about a month ago and it was blazing fast but now, it's just being as slow as my old ipod touch 2nd gen. I've play games like blood and glory but it tends to freeze every 30 seconds. Seem like the gpu is not enough for 720p because the same game works fine on my friend's Iphone 4. On top of that the phone has become slow even when it comes to typing. As i'm typing right now, the letters come out 1-2 seconds after I've pressed it and I've close all the apps that were running. I thinking about selling it to either buy a nexus 4 or an Iphone 5 because as my first experience with ICS and a one year-old superphone, I'm dissapointed. And also, LTE has never worked with my phone while my sim is LTE and it works in an Iphone 5.

I've had this phone about 6 months now. Right from day one I wasn't very happy with it. It freezes, a lot. 4-5 times most days and I'll have to pull the battery. Tends to freeze mostly if I open the calendar and occasionally as I'm trying to type a text or email. As mentioned before, battery life isn't great. I dropped it from waist height a few weeks ago and the screen shattered... vs my old HTC which was indestructible. Also occasionally refuses to send or receive messages. Sometimes I'll get a message 3 hours after it was sent, or my friends will experience a similar delay with a text I've sent. Pros: it does take great pictures. Excellent speaker for those who dislike ear phones

I think that LG should stick to making fridges my phone has a very poor camera when I take a picture the flash goes off before the shutter result the kids have their eyes closed, about every 2 weeks my phone quits receiving calls as a indicator shows no service easy fix just remove the battery re-install and your good to go, often times when I try to answer I get call declined, by far the worst cel Iv'e owned 2 more years of this crap.

Great phone, on my my first one's, it's battery life was poor, and required charging every day. I got it replaced and now i only have to charge every second night, sometimes every third. To save battery life follow these tips: Juice defender helps turning GPS, data, wifi, bluetooth...etc. off helps lowering brightness helps (i keep mine at 0% if i know i will be inside, and 10-20% if i go outside and i can see my screen fine) this phone can also be rooted quite easily, which makes it all the better.

I just had the mobile for 3 days. Its the best but just like any other smart phones the battery life is just poor but I think it still depends on how you use the phone. If you're playing or using the internet definitely the battery life won't stay long. if you're just texting and calling, the battery can live longer. Just for a tip, try decreasing the "brightness" of your mobile to prolong its battery life! :)

Had this phone fr about a year !!! Love it !!! Its solid like a rock ! Dropped it endless times and still no cracks or wear marks....since update to ICS its like a new phone !!!! with lte speeds and hd all the time !!! You cannot go wrong !!!! Love it !!! And yes batery goes fast but i bought a back up on ebay and thats more than good enough!

Great phone!! Had it for 2 weeks and no problem and battery last all day. Tip on android phone your device doesn't stop running the application til you go to application manager and stop what your running! If you woke up with twitter on,Facebook ,news,weather and so on. It's on all day sucking battery life from your hone people!

Actually, it's true. I own this phone for a few months now and the battery life is pathetic. Battery full to empty in around 2 hours. Open a radio app and your battery would still be dead even when plugged in to its charger.

my phone in stand by only will give me no more then one day battery live, nothing running in the background. Taking pictures of my new born grandaughter with a flash - the flash fires before the shutter does causing her to always close her eyes. I think LG should stick to making anything but cel phones. Their other products are excellent, cel phones, not so much.

Android releases frequent firmware upgrade and it's affecting most of its efficient softwares..i'm kinda confusd now. Apple and nokia seems stable but i already ditched nokia. Apple' is very high priced and comes factory-configured... Guys Some piece of advise will be highly appreciated.

Love it, had my phone about a month now with Bell. The 4.5 display is amazing. It truly is worth the investment with the true HD resolution. If you're wondering how it stacks up against the Galaxy S2 and iPhone it is very much up to standard with both. Dual Core 1.5 GHZ speed, come on not much phones out right now has that, not even the iPhone 4S I might add. A full charged battery can last a whole day with heavy use. The 8mp Camera is also amazing with no shutter lag at all, it takes stunning photographs. Still waiting for ICS updat though, LG said it would be coming sometime this summer before September, it's killing me but the gingerbread os is doing just fine as time passes by. All in all excellent phone.

I forgot something. Some people are wondering what's the difference between this device and the optimus true hd, or nitro hd? Well they'all the same But, the optimus hd is the international version. The optimus nitro hd and optimus 4g lte is going to launch with carriers in their respective countries.usa,uk... Overall though, they all have identical features: 4.5"hd ips screen. 1.5ghz dual core processor, 8m.pixel snapper, 1.3m.pixel front facing camera etc... To all those who thinks the battery life of this phone is poor, its not true. I've had series of reviews of the phone and guess what i am eagerly waiting the day it will launch in nigeria. Again i think it's time i give lg some time to prove their superiority, i've learned never to stick to a single company it's a poor attitude. I realised how timid i've been with nokia's symbian phones for 3yrs, but no more, android all the way. Weather sammy, sony, moto, lg, it must be their best...cos i'm the best.!

hi all. i m using this phone for days. just one thing i want to share is that the battery timing mentioned on page is a typographic mistake. it has superb battery timing. 1830ma is good for whole day activities. better than many smart phones

I have own this phone for two weeks now and the Battery is not as bad as the reviews stated. One thing I don't like about the phone is that it does not have an HDMI port but you can fix that with an USB - HDMI connector. Besides that phone is great and fast... Great resolution compared against similar phones like S2 and ARC S...

A one week owner. No beefs, Telus showed me the battery saving tips, turn off GPS, turn off wi-fi when not using it. Dim screen. Screaming fast in 4G and LTE ready. Intuitive menus, amazing resolution, 8mp camera....love this phone. Paid $30 up front, $35 setup and $50 a month for 200 anytime mins, free evenings and weekends, 100mb data, unlimited texts, 10 fav #'s, voice mail and caller ID included with Telus. Very happy with it all.

the best display & best web browsing experience ever. get one of lg optimus 4G LTE & feel it with wonder. Other features like camera, ram, cpu & gpu are also superb & come with all facilities just know about it. Have no complain against it. Android is also upgradable. This is my favourite phn. I love it too much.

Display resolution is best among the phones(excluding tabs). The resolution 1280*720 was never seen before in mobiles. Other features are also great!

I turned off the auto brightness feature, and dimmed the display quite a bit, turned the screen lock to activate after 30 seconds of inactivity, and dont pay Rogers their exorbitant fees for LTE, which I dont need or use anyway, since I use wifi at home and work. This gives me almost 3 days of standby power and phone is still blazingly fast. Best and fastest phone I have ever had.

Hey Lisa, I don't own this phone but maybe I can help you with these problems. The volume thing I believe is a problem with the apps. Try meddling with the in-app sound levelers. As of the calls, I believe that happens when you are using an app? If thats the case, then it's a common problem in Android phones. Android puts Data-Before-Networking or something like that. Basically, it gives priority to what your doing in the phone. It's a common problem, nothing to worry about.

Really love this phone got it in november. It even just updated from 2.2.2 to 2.3.4! Only issue I have is the volume its not loud enough on certain apps and when a call comes in.

I bought LG Optimus LTE 5 days ago from Bell and unlocked it for my Rogers network. This phone has the highest PPI ratio, which makes it the highest pixel density on the market higher then Samsung Nexus and S2 HD Lte. This screen is the best on the market today. I faced a big problem though. The battery life is VERY short. I use a lot of browsing and it dies in the middle of the day. Very frustrating! I dont want to optimize my application or turn of LTE network since this is the last thing I want to do buying the best phone on the market. May be there is another stronger battery for this device? Other then that it is the best experience I ever had especially after Iphone 4. Flash running so beautifully. You need to download from market flash though

I bought an unlocked LG Optimus 4G LTE to replace my faithful Nokia E72....wow, is all i can say... this phone is totally amazing...I'm with Rogers and since I dont want or need LTE service, I simply turn it off and use wireless instead, which almost doubles the battery life....the HD screen is totally mind blowing, and the phone is super fast....LGs are a cheaper alternative to Samsung, and do just as good a job. LG rocks, baby!

I didn't say that era of OLED's isn't coming just that era of LCD's isn't over, especially with those LTPS LCD screens and impressive IPS's like the one on this phone, anyhow I won't be buying OLED until they make it 300++ ppi without pentile because I'm perfectly happy with my NOVA LCD... You should be grateful that you are getting the oversaturate coloured display, the most of TVs have that and i bet your TV too. So you can have same quality and experience like TV on your mobile phones. and yes it's true that the era of AMOLED is coming. LG starts to focus on OLED too. In fact more and more mobile phone manufactures switching to OLED.

I know that retina is LG's LCD but this one has new IPS technology called AH-IPS or at least it should have it...that's why I said I'd like to see them compared, kapish? :D And i thik that LCD era is far from over because OLED screens oversaturate colors and well that's not good for pro's who need accurate colors on their screes ad monitors, on the other hand IPS-LCD delivers colors closest to the original as far as i know :D

How many times should go through this again and again. Retina = LG IPS LCD display. There is no such thing "Retina" display in real world. Of course both LG and Apple "Retina" are essentially identical, but LG, which is the manufacturer of both display says "Nova"(that's why LG says) is superior than Retina. At the moment, OLED and LCD have own pros and cons. However, the fact is that OLED is more advanced tech than LCD. We are at the time that the industry switches LCD to OLED. Many companies fail to mass-produce, except Samsung. Let's see how LG and Sharp do in the future.

wow, very nice phone and i love HD IPS LCD more than HD OLED's because they(OLED) don't show true colors, they over saturate them but IPS shows true colors and that's great and the specs too are rather good I just hope it's maximum of IPS technology meaning its like retina display and u can watch it from every angle diagonals included :D
