install unlockroot.exe in your pc later open your mobile and goto settings application and there select development and enable usb debugging now connect your mobile to pc through usb cable after this open unloclroot.exe and click on ROOT that's all.. ask me if u have any doubt, complete this later will tell u about partitioning your memory card

My experience with E510 is amazing. My usage is somewhat rough, but E510 is sturdy enough to sustain that. No hardware issues, no software issues. It works efficiently in rains. Takes very little time to get charged. Sound and display quality is too good. I have been using it since last 2.5 years and faced no issues. less internal memory restricts us to install many apps at a time.

I am using cm-7.2 on this. It's really smooth. I can feel the performance boost and internal memory has also increased slightly. Freezes rarely. I use next browser for browsing. It's the best browser for this hardware. The build quality is excellent. Using for 2 years but my friends think it's a brand new phone. I've accidentally dropped this phone a few times, but nothing happened. I don't use any cases or screen protector but still its clean. But the paint on the volume and power buttons is coming off but remember two rough years for my e510. Major issues: No major official updates. Low internal memory (rooting may solve).

I have quite a few issues with E510. 1.The dictionary where I keep saving words keeps getting deleted every two days. 2. When I search for a name in messaging if I type v it gives some single digit 8 don't know from where it comes. Also why does it show email ids when I am searching for a number on messaging. This comes from google mail contacts 3. Till date I am unable to see my contacts on PC Suite. It says I have no contacts and refuses to show contacts on my phone. Correction of contacts on phone and google is confusing so cant use sync. 4. Now am unable to update software, it keeps giving some issue or other. Am not sure what to do.

Well just yesterday... I thought I'm gonna lose this phone.. It was soaked in soap and water for 30 minutes before I realized I left it on one of the pockets of my soiled garment. I found it soaked and dripping wet... :( I left it out to dry inside our uncooked rice bin overnight without battery,sim etc. The next day, It came back to life.... T_T... I guess Lady Luck was by my side....

it's not a bad phone, but LG's software is a total crap! The company I work to gives that smartphone to it's employees, and all of them had stability problems. I found that is a software related issue, solved with a custom rom.

It is really good nice ui design.. it has screenshot option too.. camera is good bt it doesnt have fm radio and wont support kannada language. its a .rar file u have to extraxt it once u extract it u will get msxml and also KDZ FW UPD file... its take simple stepss.. 4 times i flashed my cell and 2 times i changed custom roms too bt didnt like those .. have to try stable mod once :-) happy flashing for any query free feel to mail me on [email protected]

just go to lg-phone-firmware.com and download corressponding v10h for optimus hub.. after this search about kdz updater run this software in xp. before running install all the lg drivers. and also u will ge ms*** in the kdz updater u have to run it first to use kdzupdater.exe once all the drivers install properly. keep ur v10h.kdz and kdz updater in the same file. now u have to put our mobile in emergency mode. to do this switch off ur cell remove the batterry and re insert the batterry. dnt turn it on.. now press and hole volume up button and connect ur mobile throug usb cable. u will ge emergency mode.. now run that kdz updater.exe and select TYPE-3GQCT PHONE MODEL- DIAG thats all now choose kdz file and click on launch software update thats all dude.. wait for 30 to 40 min ur phone will complete flashed. before doing this backup ur all data. for any information mail me or catch me on facebook [email protected]

upload both pictures taken of the samsung y duos and optimus hub on your pc. you will see the actual difference. since the samsung y duos has a smaller screen, its screen resolution is tightly compact making it seem to have better quality. The optimus hub on the other hand has a larger screen hence it stretches the picture taken making it a little distorted but when you uplaod pictures to your pc you will see the actual difference. The lg optimus hub has better quality than the samsung y because your pc will display the actual resolution of the picture (5 megapixels and 2 megapixels) and not of the screen resolution of the phone.

so here`s how to get Jellybean 4.1.2 on Lg Optimus Hub: go to and follow the instructions, you may use google translate, the forum is in italy. Anyway, I also own the Lg Optimus Hub and it`s very good at it`s price, curently I have 4.1.2 Jellybean installed on it. The only bugs are that the camera don`t work, and the video recording is buggy, but else it`s very fast, smooth, and if you use link2sd you can have a lot of space for apps. Good luck

You got me wrong buddy. What I meant is, I have rooted my phone already and now I see a software update waiting. But I am not sure if it's a good idea to take that update as it might cause issues on a rooted phones. What you can do is, update the software to whatever latest available and then root it. Rooting is quite simple. Search google for "Super one click", install that in your PC, follow the instructions.

I'm very happy with this phone, i'm having cyanogen mod 7, rooted...it has a good response/speed. Battery last only for 1 day if you have your data enabled. The build quality is awesome for the amount that you pay for this cell phone. So I recently bought this phone. I must say it's faster than the other phone I've had, but for a 5 megapixel camera, indoor pictures still SUCK. You have to be in Hot sun for decent pictures. And as for the quoted "Geo-tag, face and smile detection and Beauty shot" features? They don't EXIST! Sigh. It works good with web-browsing and music playback (though I wish it was louder). It's also very affordable. If you decide to get this phone, just know that you won't be using the camera much.

Sorry to say.. but you cant upgrade to ICS i.e. 4.0.4 jsut upgrade your phone to 2.3.6.. by installing the corresponding ROM.. for a list of available firmwares for your phone go to And one more thing the "temple run" depends on your processor and display resolution, not on the operating system.. but you can try temple run for ARM6..

The screen is great - bright and clear, the body is comfortable and slim, this device also has an accurate gps hardware. Otherwise, the quality of camera is below poor - 5 Mpix, even my other phone (Samsung ) makes better photos with 2 Mpix lens. In addition, it would be nice if the battery had more capacity, but all in all - this comfortable and really powerful phone is worthed that kind of money i am going to pay.

Hahahahahaha u r talking like a kid :p Bcoz in every phone even all cheap touch screen phones we can use more than 1 fingers in the game. so small kid thats not multitouch okk. Multitouch means u can click on more than 1 icon at any menu. it means even when u using ur home screen menu. lolzzzzzzz now try it and if u can click on more than 1 icon in the home menu then talk to me .

My Android phone lasted for complete 5 days on a single charging cycle (moderate usage of calls, sms, GPRS, wifi, bluetooth and few games). Battery backup enhanced by "CPU Tuner" on my rooted LG Optimus Hub E510. See the above link for the phone screen shot. visit LG.COM select support and mobile phone support.... in that choose your model name and download LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL and mobile drivers.. and install software and drivers in computer.. now connect your phone to computer and open that lgmobile support tool and click on START UPDATING thats all.. wait 1hr or till update complete.... make sure that u hv internet connection in your computer..... thats y i updated my LG OPTIMUS HUB in my friend cyber centre.. withini 40 mins my phone updated to android 2.3.6

download and install LG Mobile Support Tool. After installing it connect the phone to your pc and let it update. Make sure u have the phones drivers though.

I have rooted my LG Optimus Hub. Installed "CPU Tuner"; configured to "Simple & powerful". Now the battery drain is low. I could get a battery backup for 2 days under moderate usage. When I sleep (8 hrs), the phone drains only 5 to 6%. And if I set the phone in "flight mode" then the battery drain is just 1% during sleep time of 8 hrs (Earlier during roaming traveling, I used to switch off my phone while I sleep but Android phone's Alarm will not work if the phone is switched off)

If you have this problem, you must switch off, remove and re-insert the battery; turn on the phone. Happened to me once, the battery usage was showing "Phone idle" as very low. There are apps/tasks/processes which are not seen by the task managers so it will not be killed by them.

I bought this phone, it feels good for the price I paid. I just use originals instead of upgrades so it doesn't disturbs the hardware's capacity or limitations. Good phone if it's used only with necessary apps. I suggest it to anybody without second thought. 2-3 days of battery life is good for any android phone. Ignore small limitations, it does what 90% of expensive handset do and costs 30-40% of it.

Sorry to hear that, but you can change the number of homescreens. Put yourself in edit mode for homescreen (like you want to add widget or change wallpaper) then push menu button, only option is canvas. There you can remove (or add) any screen like widgets - tap and hold until trashcan appear, put in... You can also set default homescreen in that edit mode. Good luck! ;)

about the battery... the android is not like a blackberry.. they are consume a lot of energy to run a high resolution touch screen and data connectivity.. i think because their data is bigger than blackberry, coz Blackberry has a giant server in the world to deliver the most data that we used to. but android is using a real internet mobile connectivity in real time, not through the server like blackberry. thats why we consume a lot of battery for connectivity.. IMHO (not quite sure about that, maybe the experts can explain more) to manage your battery, u can search in google how to extend android battery life. for a simple tips, just lowering your refresh rate in every SNS or email applications, it consume a lot of battery. and then lowering ur screen brightness, use a task killer, chace killer, turn of ur mobile data when using wifi (vice versa) and place ur phone in a full signal area coverage. thats all my experience with this phone, and it save a lot of my battery consumes.. about the keyboard without comma.... exactly they has a comma.. but it's deep.. u have to press the symbol button twice.. but.. u could install a Go Keyboard application.. it has a comma just on the left side of the spacebar button.. pretty cool keyboard they also has a smile template.. just check it out.. ^ ^ well i'm just sharring, first i was thinking like u, this phone is bad.. but after all, wowww.. this phone is cool budget android, in the price range it is a really nice phone

first i had the same problem like u about wifi connection, but now it just a perfect budget phone for me... to solve the wifi connection problem is simple : go to settings -> wireless & network settings -> Wi-Fi Settings -> press option button (capactive square button on the left side of the home button) it will show scan and advanced -> choose advance -> then u'll find a Wi-Fi sleep policy -> set up to never voilaaa problem solve, ur wifi is never get disconnected after the screen goes off.. just try ^ ^

I already have that easy battery saver but still the battery is no good. me and my partner used to talk more than 3 hours in a day but now its even hard for us to talk for an hour because of the battery consumption. i always charge the phone. battery heats up that easily. i only got the phone for 3 days but it just gives me problem. cant talk on the phone that long cant enjoy the game im playing it always freezes and it doesnt even have a comma sign in keyboard. i expected so much but im so devastated. Another thing why is it when i updated my apps and the phone is connected to wifi when i locked my phone and just left the phone for awhile lets say i go to restroom for 3mins the connection to wifi has been disconnected and the apps that i tried to update failed? So i do the updates again and make sure i touh the phone all the time so it wont disconnect to wifi. i think i just wasted my money. there are good things like screen is so good and the pixels for camera are great but c�mmon guys what is happening here? im expecting some sort of work around that can help me with this concern.

Very good phone for that amount of money. Almost identical physical size and display size also as iPhone which means good "form factor". Nice, easy and handy user interface. I think is more user friendly than Samsung Galaxy Mini or Galaxy ACE or HTC Wildfire S. Good camera for that amount of money, better than competition (Samsung Galaxy mini or Galaxy ACE or HTC wildfire S). Recomended. Cont: rear cover is glossy therefore user fingerprints are easily visible.

first install lg pc suite...it wil be in ur memory card. to open memory card.open settings>applications>storage tick use mass storage and connect with datacable and copy the pc suite folder to pc and remove the tick and disconnect ur mobile. nw install it in ur pc/laptop and connect ur mobile again it automatically recognizes.....enjoy...:):)

I have this phone for almost 1 month and i can say that i am very pleased with it.The internet works well and the only thing i could think of as a downside is the lack of flash player.In terms of battery power life i can say that it's quite acceptable,maybe more than acceptable.I had one time when i didn't use the internet so much or play games and the battery lasted for 4 days and 16 hours,and i still had 14% battery left.With a normal usage this phone lasts 3 days without a problem.The 5 MP camera gives you the opportunity to take good pics,not great but good,and in what concerns the recording capabilities i can say i am pleased.The apps work very well on the 800 Ghz processor,except latest games like Asphalt 5. To sum up, if you are a non-pretentios person with resonable taste i believe that you will seriosly like this phone,and the price it's sold for.So make no mistake and buy this phone if you want a resonable priced smart-phone.

Really can't call it great... at best I'd say it looks better than the Net (which really looks quite cheap and boring). Seems aesthetics don't matter to LG. 4. Net has Adreno 200 GPU also. 5. All those should display on the Net too, if you know how. 6. Battery capacity of both phones is the same. Are you sure the Hub has better battery backup?

u should definitely go for hub there are many differences between hub and net 1. hub has 3.5inch touchscreen whereas net has 3.2 2. hub has solid build quality and feels good in hand whereas net gives a feeling of cheap plastic 3 hub has great looks whereas net looks like a cheap phone 4. hub has adreno 200 gpu which is very useful for gamming where as net lacks 5. hub supports many video formats and other office files and pdf whereas net disappoints here also 6. hub has a large battery life

I've had 4 conventional cellphones, one of those was a Sony Ericsson W200. This model had only one big problem: the jack, USB and charge connector was the same weird design SE used to have. I just hate it! Because it didn't work ¬¬ But Hub has something I've never seen in my other cellphones and I'm not sure if other smartphones have it: when you conect the jack and push it well, it sounds like "clic". It's pretty resistant!!!

Let me tell you the experience of nokia is not bad but when I used android then its so much fun. Now I'm the user of lg optimus hub from 3weeks. I've observed many things in it are very comfort and its battery is long lasting, you may think it has crapping display or lagging. There is nothing problem with this phone you should definitely go for it. If you waiting for galaxy ace plus pls dont cause there is no innovative in this phone from samsung as it goes high price. since the hub runs on armv6 pro. it does not satisfy the requirement for flash support. U can not find neither hub nor ace in the supported handset list in the official adobe flash site. Don't feel disappointed,only a few devices of galaxy s range got such a support.expecting to get a modded version for hub anyway i have decided to go for a hub.

Fine I have been using optimas one 9 months fantastice performance ..this once is good faster 800 MHZ then 600 mhz for optimas one preformance processor 5 MP camera then 3 MP for optimas one so better clarity 3.5 screen bigger by 0.3 inches for optimas one .. Yes good one only one thing is missing if this would had atleast a VGA front camera for video call would have been AWESOME. ...

How do you mean nothing has changed? The camera has changed. LG Optimus has a 3 megapixel camera and the LG Optimus Hub a 5 megapixel camera. Optimus One does not have gorilla glas, Hub does. The processor is faster and it's a decent midrange phone. He price is low, so you can't expect high end performance. I think LG Optimus Hub is a decent successor of LG Optimus One.

Nothing has changed since lg optimus one -_- ... Way to go LG... My first android phone was lg optimus one and by watching lg's progression in smartphones, i will never buy an lg phone again... Will wait for android jelly bean and buy an HTC or Samsung smartphone...

u r absolutely right as lg optimus hub does not have multi touch and its colours in screen are also less than a king which is galaxy ace galaxy ace also has been updated to 2.3.4 by kies in every country

This is a BIG competition to SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE, but our main requirment is Gooks Looks along with the Specs... Ace is Incredibly nice in looks as compared to this, However Plus points as compared to Ace are DIVX Support and better RAM But Ace from is Samsung and Looks are much much better... Rest almost same... What Do Yougs Say???

Lovely. .just price it lil below ace n samsung not stand chance:) it has default avi divx player plus a 1500mah battery plus gingerbread.it just lacks flash but still quite better than ace.Pls lg price a lil low

Overall it do have good specs, a nice successor after Optimus One. But it will not support Adobe flash player.. =( this could be a disadvantage. An almost same on its rival, Samsung Galaxy Ace ...

So its basicly a samsung galaxy ace in different clothing then. Not really suprised by the specs, but you would have thought lg would try a little harder to outshine compition. However its has the same ingrediants and the ace has been a hit, so maybe this could do just aswell.
