Same problem here. What you should do is just delete any retrica or candy camera type of app and just use the normal camera. It works fine then and wont restart again and again.

Nice phone and a lot of features (3G, 4G, NFC, Wifi Direct, DLNA). Corean version has only English and Korean languajes but i perfectly works in Europe. I used often Waze and the 4:3 format is excellent to setup the handy in the car dashboard.

I'm using this model right now (2015) and beats most of the actual models, the screen quality is impressive to see videos or pictures, or just to navigate or use whatsapp. Autonomy time even with Wifi, location services and 3G it's very good. Actually I'm living in Spain and I don't found any problem to use it here. Also, 800 LTE band will come soon to get 4G. Highly recommended handy!

if yours is not capable for 4g/lte it should automatically use 3g or 2g,this goes through sim card and phone unless you are set to receive only specified/selected network.

Verygood and nice in every aspect though 4g is not availabke in my area but the performance is good fast in connections and a true snapdragon that works like a quad core phone the only downside is the battery it detoriates easily... Bring it to the service center for replacement... I like this phone..

The original LG Optimus Vu F100 won't receive the latest Android 4.4 KitKat because it is almost 2 years as Google only provide updates for Android smartphones in 18 months or extended up to 24 months, meaning the F100L/S stays with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. And the P895 version will also stuck with Android 4.0.4 ICS forever.

I love my Optimus Vu because it is cheaper high-end smartphone as Korean-spec than local version. My device has already been rooted and converted into international ROM, which removes all of Korean apps, those are useless. After that, I lost all of my Google apps like Hangouts, YouTube, Chrome, Google+, and Google Current. I installed them right away. The only missing I've seen as "Software Update", so I cannot upgrade to the next Android verion. The LG keyboard didn't appear but has a Perfect keyboard Pro as a default keyboard instead.

Regarding the wi-fi/bluetooth connection failure after updating from the official Jelly bean update. Just restart your wi-fi router (basically turn it off and turn it back on) same goes to the wi-fi of your phone then just wait to connect. That's how I fixed my wi-fi on my phone.

i purchased this phone two days ago. having the opportunity to use the galaxy note 2, it is nothing close to galaxy note 2. they say its introduction was to compete with galaxy note 2?. its big but falls short of expectations. no radio (its ironical that the cheapest of phones have it but this one does not), apps very limited and functionality and speed below expectation.(it should be that if apps are not readily available when you purchase the phone, then you should be able to download! but no!) you should be able to get it from the the price i bought is not worth it at all.then the other thing i do not appreciate is the constants registration you have to do even when trying to access the functionality on this phone while its soooo slow in processing. lower version smartphone can do more than this phone. my advise, if looking for a big smartphone, better save for a samsung phone! if not that big on phone gadgets make do with a decent phone but be content with performance. no need for a stylish smart phone that is below expectation in performance: this should be very key! lg optimus vu is a miss!
