LG V40 ThinQ - User Reviews

  • Don't think twice It's a very good phone.Better than Asus 6Z ,One Plus and Oppo Reno,And Mi Phones.Lg Phone is under rated but it's a very very good phone. And UI is very smooth only cons Slow Software update.

  • Only have a question is it advisable to switch to lg v40 from lg v40. Because I am more concerned about the battery life. My LG v30 last a full day of serious usage. Advise!

  • You mean the radio fm which you install is now working without internet connection? Or it need internet connection?

  • Eh.. Huawei's phones yield me the best reception I ever had. Before I have had a Sony, LG, Motorola and a Oneplus. Nothing compares to my Chinesium phone :)

  • i have the same phone as you, EU open version, have the latest patches from 1.september, and fm radio u can download form any site. This fone is perfect, i really don't know why people are talking bad things about v40. Updates are ok, but of course, who takes this fone over internet, have problems, they are not meant for that region, and updates won't work. U have to do it manually. Of course it have sd card slot. I am using it.

  • There definitely is a SD slot up to two terabytes pull out the microchip draw and we'll be in there

  • Yes. Thank you. But it need mobile or wifi connection. I really need enable internal chip without need mobile or wifi connection, like LG G8, LG G7, LG G6, LG V30, LG V40 american ...

  • you can download fm radio apk from herehttps://www.apkmirror.com/apk/lgelectronics/lg-fm-radio/lg-fm-radio-7-10-8-release/lg-fm-radio-7-10-8-android-apk-download/

  • its a good phone. buy it. :)

  • still relevant to buy it this year or you guys have any good phone options?

  • No dedicated SD card slot, the spec is wrong. Just lost €535 on a phone that is no use...

  • The european version doesn't have FM radio. Why? The same is with LG G8s. I am very interesting about buying these phone, but no radio, no buy.

  • There is NO dedicated SDcard slot, it shares tray with SIM2, so just a hybrid dual SIM. There is no FM radio chip, tried to enable it with various radio apps...no luck. My model version is LM-V405EBW. I purchased this phone based on gsmarena specs, especially for the SD dedicated slot and FM radio and I am totally disappointed because they are missing!

  • Camera is totally changed. Lost the scenes section and the nice dials. I loved the originalOreo camera version.

  • Hi, Please let me know what are the ups and downs after pie update

  • Hi, please let me know the issues in pie update if you've upgraded.

  • Obviously, 2-300 bucks cheaper though an battery is still great

  • G8/G8S ThinQ are newer and have longer battrry life

  • because of the size of the display and also bloateware and lgs UI on top of Android

  • For me this is the phone with complete package. Worth it.

  • LG G7 last month i bhout phone is very good and battery also good and good perffomence very good and good camera game performance very good i thik

  • Why is the endurance a measly 64h....

  • Hmm, this or the LG G8S?

  • I sold my Pocophone just to buy LG V40. No regrets and loving it than my previous Pocophone. Also I sold the Poco of my fiance and bought LG G7. Same no regrets and loving back LG

  • I'd prob go for the LG V40, it may have a shorter battery life but basically everything else is better

  • How is the battery if I set the resolution to 720p?

  • Pocophone f1 or this? I could get either one at the same price

  • I have owned the V10, V20, and now te V40 thinq and each phone was excellent and I couldnt be more happier. I was a little hesitant to switch to a phone without the ability to remove battery, but so far it has not been an issue. The LG V40 thinq has been out for 10 months now and it is still a beast. Major improvements include screen to body ratio, advanced camera system, built in sound, and incredible OLED display. At 6.4 inches it has a much larger screen than the V20 yet the overall length of the phone is equal to that of the V20. I highly recommend this phone.

  • Mate, are you talking about the lg v40 thinq? Because camera quality is cr*p, and the battery take a lot to charge.

  • For LG V30 and V40 users: Q1: It is better to buy LG V40 korean Variant or not? Q2: which is better and what is the difference of V40 to V30 camera? Thanks

  • I see but I don't like the idea of not being able to use all 3 lenses (especially the ultra wide angle) in a video shoot. Thats the only problem for me as in the V20 I can switch between them without stopping. Do you own a V40? Did LG solve them via software update?

  • U.S. here. My T-Mobile version came with Next Radio installed as the FM radio app.

  • The LG V40 is like the V20 on steroids. It is a great upgrade for a V20 owner and I would choose it over the 7.

  • In Malaysia but they are used (in very good condition). How much does it costs in your country?

  • What is your country!.. I want a V40 for us$350

  • A used LG G7 costs around 210USD, G7 Plus costs around 300USD and V40 costs around 350USD in my country. Which one should I get? I don't game much on my phones. I'm coming from a V20. They are all Korean variants btw.

  • No

  • I have had this phone ever since release, and it is amazing! The cameras are extraordinary! The zoom and wide angles are so versatile. The phone charges very quickly and has decent battery life. The fingerprint sensor is lightning fast. The double-tap on/off feature is very convenient. When you plug in a headphone jack, the sound is crisp and fantastic! LG probably has the most focus on sound compared to other companies. No matter what others say, I cannot deny the fact that I had a very pleasant experience. If I had to choose between an S10 or this, I would honestly choose the V40 Thinq.

  • Hi... Can anyone tell me if LG has fixed the camera switching while recording videos after updating to Pie? I know it can switch between telephoto and normal camera but not the wide unless you stop and start recording again since launch. I'm looking into this for my upgrade from V20 and if switching between all 3 cameras are now possible without stopping then it would be great. If its not fixed then probably the G7 would be better.

  • yes double tap to turn on/ off is available . also u can double tap notification bar from any app and turn off screen ( no need to do from home screen )

  • today aug1 pie update we got . its available via ota and lg bridge

  • Android 9 update is now available in Australia

  • When we will get pie update in India for lg gv40

  • Don't buy One Plus 7 Pro it's not good and never feel premium. And finally One Plus phone emitting high SAR value which is not good for the health.

  • Stiill no timeline for pie update in India. Really dissapointed

  • we are waiting in india of update of andoird pie in lg v40 delaying too much for that

  • After update to PIE: Any improvement on battery life, Camera apps and performance? Any dual support apps feature added?

  • Yes me too

  • so this, or pay more for one plus 7 pro?

  • Finally! I Got my LG V40 updated to Android Pie 9.0!! About bloody time!!

  • Quite good if you are in default settings

  • I've been a fan of this brand for a few years, and I bought the LG v30 and got my money for the flagship of this model, but I made a mistake because there was a problem with the CPU or shaded image and every year worse than last year.

  • LG Phone very good but they are under rateted. That's the only roblem.Never compare LG with one plus and Asus phone and Xiaomi devices. Its a class one device very and fully loaded. One thing more in network reception only Motorola,Nokia and Lg will score 9.9/10.Its the truth.Ussers will achieve great network reception with Motorola,Noka and Lg only. No brands will come close to these three brands in network connectivity.

  • Yes, double tap2wake / sleep is still working, I love it too

  • That’s not good news for FM radio tuners. By the way, does your phone V40 ThinQ still have the double tap on screen to turn on/off? Love this function, but I haven’t used LG phones since 2016. Thanks

  • Hi. I bought the european version (germany) of the v40 yesterday. all good, got the update but guess what - it doesn`t have the fm radio app. i tried installing 3 different versions with no result. I had no idea that they ditched the all essential fm radio feature for europe... such a bummer. I will return the product and try the korean version. Anybody else had this experience?

  • I purchased V40Thinkq couple of months back.. Heating problem experience after use for considerable time. Does same heating problem for same time not exist even in costly high end samsung phones. Unavoidable perhaps powerful processor is inside. The only way is to use the hand set for small time only.

  • How does the pubg play

  • Not heat problems so far, after 2 months, and in more or less warm weather. Long way since v10, you cannot compare.

  • I'm considering acquiring this device.  Question : Does the V40 have heat issues ?  Does it ever feel excessively warm during heavy usage ?  I'm currently using the V10 and after a year or so, all my batteries have resulted in bulging forcing me to purchase more batteries.  Does any V40 owner know if they've noticed a slight bulge on the back of the phone or excessive "warmness" ? Thank, in advance.

  • No problem with battery at all! Much better than LG G7. V40 just ideal phone

  • It's only 1.5 hours less in web browsing. SOT matters more than endurance.

  • Unreal how they didn't manage to uphold strong battery-life from V30. Truly sad for LG and I believe this is their last nail in the coffin.

  • I'm heppi with my V30+ Oreo.....yummy. Still works very3 well3

  • Which mod dd u download? And wat settings dd u choose?

  • Set it on manual mode and let it self-adjust. If the first shots are not up to par then follow up with adjusting the aperture and ISO settings with mire practice shots until you obtain the results you want.

  • use google camera mod for LGV40 here: {try each until you find a suitable one :)}

  • How to turn off shutter sound in lg v40 thinq

  • I am using lg v40 since last 6 months one of the best phone with lots of user friendly function I would like to get help from users get help as I am not able 5o take good photos in low light .

  • From my experience the V40 charges quickly especially when compared to my V20 so there seems to be an issue of some type. I would suggest trying another charger/cable rated for Quick Charge 3.0.

  • check the charger spec. phone is qcom quick charge 3.0. may be lg gave cheaper charger. check current output specification of charger in v20 and v40

  • I am very happy with the phone. I have the feeling that most of negative comments come from not owners. Only one question: it charges quite slow. Much slower than my previous V20. Is it normal or maybe my unit is faulty? thanks

  • it is personal choice buddy :) . I got it for manual video , audio quality , haptics , wide angle camera etc . The software is more polished and have more options than stock android . If i need updates as preference , i would get google phones . So there are people who don't care of OS updates ( android kitkat to lollipop to marshmallow, there was a performance difference because of DEX to ART. Now do you know what will you get even if android P or Q ) . Believe me LG software is pure and clean with lot of cusomization( even we can uninstall google bloatware ) .

  • The S10s extra wide angle has too much distortion. LG V40 isn't as wide angle of view but does not have the fish eye effect the Samsung does. The main cameras of the V40 are also better.

  • ppl thinking about "q'" lg team thinking about 8.1.3 update..how fool to buy lg mobiles

  • LG preparations.. example bike 2000cc, bhp 500. But fuel capcity 10liters for tank. LG G7 V40 G8 V50 ... Battery position same as mentioned.... And no updates tooo.... LG ready to sleep next door to sony htc Lg. Lolz

  • LG where is 9.0 update . Or. Where is recent patch decemver 2018 stucked..near 5months . Sleep well LG TEAM

  • i think only lg on oreo . happy

  • You are right.since last year's patch work no updates

  • Last update in india 1st dec 2018. Since no updates 5months over. Whats wrong LG

  • the s10 has a way better camera

  • The V40 is better than both of those phones.

  • Hi can anyone help me which is the better in term of camera . I am looking for wild angle camera and confused between s10 plus or lg v40thinq ..... which produce bettwe images

  • I would not hesitate one second and go for the V40. I've a S9+, and two spec' of it will stop me to go to Galaxy S series again: the software, I find the LG's one much more intuitive, and mostly the screen: it's my first curved screen, and I find it highly uncomfortable.

  • I've been thinking about this handset as a second option. S10 plus would be my first. I think the more demanding we get the battery has to have more capacity. Any qi charging device needs to have an enclosed battery. Any factory ip68 device these days has to be airtight and sealed. So you can't have it both ways.

  • Too expensive, I am better off buying an S9 or a P20 pro, almost 200 Euros cheaper than V40. Just don't make sense. And after my G4 was lost due to the common bootloop problem, no more LG for me.

  • How long is the battery life with heavy usage will it get through a day? Atm I'm using an honor 10 from huawei. I'm thinking of going to the lg v40 did think about the G7 until I realised it was crud. I'm also thinking of the v40 for the camera I'm on a budget of £500 and it's around that brand new on ebay. Thanks.

  • Mate, it's a flagship phone you don't see all the other flagship phones with removable batteries do you? No you don't. And if you want a v20 get a bloody v20, what's the problem?

  • Non-removable battery is a joke. It's an anti-consumer practice designed to force obsolescence after 18-24 months. I'd rather get a refurbished LG V20 than get a brand new LG V40.

  • Nah the battery is disappointing. I'm not even a heavy user and I had battery anxiety. I'm using an LG V30 now. Display isn't as nice but it isn't so power-hungry either.

  • can i use LG V30's battery as a replacement for LG V40's battery?

  • Do not listen to various haters and trollers !! this phone is phenomenal oled screen , cameras, sounds, battery ( better than samsung note 8 ) , speaker.Everything is superb . !!

  • I do not understand how lg could make such a nice phone with such a poor battery life.

  • have u applied any back panel lamination or thin plastic material cover?? mine did the same distortion! but after removing the lamination everything got perfect!

  • New battery life test pls, V40 in YT destroy Note 9.

  • I bought the v40 thinq, i faced the problem in box pack phone that voice from ear speaker distorted if i press the screen of my phone

  • Great phone except for average battery life and little big for my taste. V30s size is perfect imo. Not too big or small.n

  • No longer... LG's price policy is strange ! :(

  • Update

  • Not shure what u mean with ghost screen but the v40 has oled display and should be free of light bleed or poor view angle or ips glow

  • Hello guys need a quick suggestion.. first of all i have finally decided to buy this phone (Lg v40) i am concerned with ghost screen (shadow effect on the screen) on this phone coz i have used lg g5 so it has the same problem. Can any owner of lg v40 tell me does it have thr same issue. Thanks

  • Thankyou so much for the suggestion . Really appreciated. Just one more question lg is slow with software you said .. that is in terms of the updates or the phones software that lags or stuff like that. Thanks a bunch :)

  • Oneplus 6T : Only software update is only a positive thing LG V40 : Wide angle camera . High DAC audio player .IP 68 rating only cons is that LG is damm slow in software

  • One plus 6t or Lg V40 .. and why . please suggest .. thank you so much

  • agreed!!! power back button is the best. v40 v50 v60 should have a similar design like v30! best design. can't get better than v30. Perfect size. not too small or big.

  • V40.

  • Lg v40 thinQ or HTC u12 plus for the same price?

  • Love this phone. It has almost everything: quad hd screen, fast performance, ip68 rating, expandable storage, boombox speaker 3.5mm jack, five cameras. Battery life is meh but no phone is perfect.

  • Nice phone but why move the power butten to the side. Please LG move it back,,,, to the back of the phone.

  • I had a Samsung Galaxy S7 that I loved it first , but a year later it became laggy would shut off on me and I traded it in for a budget LG k20v, and I was very impressed with it & kept it for about 8 months until I was able to upgrade to the v40 and my goodness this phone is amazing ,sharp picture, with one of the highest resolutions out there on the 6.4 in p o l e d screen and it looks stunning that quad DAC IP68.blazin fast processor etc etc... this phone is a total Power House that flies under the radar but for people who love to listen to high quality music this phone is for you and that's just one of the great things that it does...

  • Nice looking phone but too expensive at the moment. Hopefully there will be a price drop.

  • Really enjoying the LG V40. Sound from the speakers is awesome! Really nice pictures from the camera. I've no issues with battery life (tons of usage at work & home) as I can make it through the day with plenty of juice to spare. Notch can be concealed, but I just got used to it in all honesty & just left it be. Headphone jack & quad DAC are the joint. Great phone for me and my usage. An underrated gem in a sea of overrated pretenders for me.

  • Recently i used note 9. And . 6T.... Last recent updates those mobiles have heavy lag . V40 patch work december ... Better than them. Note 9 is horrible

  • Best mobile. Superb mobile... 6.4 beautiful display. Back camera beast. Front not a problem better than before.. but battery half meals only. LG should change

  • I think the mediocre battery is a worthwhile tradeoff for the headphone jack and boombox speakers. It will get you through a day and I'm never far from a charger. If I'm stranded in outer Mongolia it might be a problem.

  • ThinQ about it... lol

  • who the hell name..smartphone "ThinQ" ??? what the hell this mean LOL Lg really need to fresh start with brand name

  • I've owned a number of LG phones: LG Leon, G4, V20 and most recently, the V40. I've had no problems with any of these phones. The thing with LG is the issue of Quality Control or lack thereof. I escaped the boot loop debacle with the G4, my V20 made the transition from Nougat to Oreo without the problems some of my fellow owners experienced, and the Leon was handed down to my sister and just recently passed on to android heaven. You look at LG-focused sites and it looks like posters are talking about 2 very different phones. Some are happy with the performance of their device while others think they own the biggest POS to ever be produced. I suggest that once you have the phone in hand you put it through all of its paces during that first week...I mean test everything. Start with getting it set up right there in the store and have someone call you, start taking videos, etc. I have an almost 3 year old T-mobile branded V20 that has been my daily driver right up until the purchase of the V40 about a month ago. I actually had no intentions of purchasing another LG device after they decided to become more Samsung/Apple like and took away all of the features that made the V20 a stand out phone. I decided since they were going to be more Samsung-like I might as well cut out the middleman and bought a Samsung device. But when I was offered a new in the box V40 for $400 I couldn't pass that up. I have been very pleased with my phone. It does last me the whole work day during which I use navigation continuously, stream I Heart radio, exchange emails, make phone calls, access the company website for client info and browse the internet for news stories. The camera/video special effects are fun and I am very happy with my purchase.

  • Cons——poor battery life, not great front camera like always, too long and big design, power button should be in the back!! Otherwise, its a great phone. Not switching my v30 anytime soon!!!

  • I don't know what's wrong with LG, I wonder if do they really go through expert reviews on youtube and on tech websites or care about customer feedbacks.. Lots of negative reviews about LG G7 bad battery life still only 3300 mah battery in this 6.4" high res screen phone... It is like a selling a powerful all feature rich car with 15 liters of fuel tank, when you drive it runs great but after each 10 km you have to refill its tank..

  • Correct. Without good battery backup, all features are useless...

  • Nice phone very poor battery is no no for me. Give us great battery life to carry out all the good features the phone has.

  • In my country LG V40 and the P20 pro are at same price inspite of LG launching the V40 just last month and the P20 pro is available since long back. Mate 20 not available in my country only the Mate 20 Pro which is super expensive more than Note 9. LG even though launched the G7 and V40 late in my country but they launched them both at great prices. G7 in my country costs less than the OP6 and the V40 costs less than the S9+. Different markets different dynamics I would say.

  • Thank you for your reply, vvvky. I shall go with the Mate 20 then, after some hands-on testing with display models at my local telco store. It's kind of sad that LG V40 and Mate 20 series were announced at roughly the same time, but LG V40 is only available 3~4 months in many countries (including mine) after its announcement. By then, Mate 20's price have already dropped considerably and looks more favorable to buyers. If LG V40 and Mate 20 were of the same price, I would have gone for the LG V40, mainly due to its comparable (and at times superior) triple cam setup and excellent video recording quality, despite its poorer battery. Mate 20 (non-pro) vs LG V40 Comparison

  • 1. Mate 20 battery life better than V40. 2. Camera quality all reviews will tell you that Mate 20 is better than V40 and some will even tell you it's better than the Galaxies. I personally like the V40 pics more than the Mate it's my opinion and maybe wrong. 3. Video quality LG is better it supports 4K 60fps, HDR 10 video recording and LGs manual mode is superb. But if the Mate 20 is 200 USD cheaper then why bother the V40 ? Simply go for the Mate 20. Battery life and camera both are awesome you won't regret it.

  • Which triple camera phone should I get between LG V40 and Huawei Mate 20 (non-pro)? In my country, LG V40 is only recently available and is about USD$200 more expensive than vanilla Mate 20 (after conversion from my country's currency). Mate 20 X (too big for my taste) and Mate 20 Pro (do not need fancy features, and there is no audio jack, as well as poor speakers which are located inside the usb-c port) are out of my budget. Key features that I will look out for are: 1) Battery Life (Most important factor) 2) Camera Quality (Comparing the regular camera and ultra wide angle camera) 3) Video Recording Quality (I know LG is the best in this, but how does Mate 20 compete) Anyone willing and able to shed some light on this comparison? I am aware that the LG V40 is understandably more expensive due to using AMOLED screen, IP68 waterproof rating and its superb audio quality (one of the best phones in this area). However, is LG V40 worth the extra price tag compared to Mate 20, if we take into account battery life and camera performance? Would appreciate the feedback if any.

  • Why change the power button? Should be in the back! Why notch? Battery life should be good or better as v30!!!! Lg is messing up man. Sad.

  • So gsmarena is wrong with the Telephoto camera specs.

  • Only main camera 12MP has OIS and EIS. But LG did not clearly mention. If it has then they will shout like dual OIS or triple OIS. I am pretty sure only main camera has OIS.

  • Someone please confirm whether the Telephoto camera has OIS or not ? Gsmarena says it has but other sites say otherwise. Please ?

  • LG V40 great device . absolutely compitator for note 9 .mate 20. But promoting is matter here. Releasing big matter.very late launch. V40 beast . Killer fish

  • LG V series fight for samsung iphone huawei. LG G series give fight for china mobiles like oneplus oppo vivo. Better price of G series...

  • LG G7 would be better deal at INR 30,000 on Flipkart. If storage is not big deal.

  • But anyways it's a great deal and it will further come down in price when the SD 855 phones are launched in India just like the V30+ which you can buy for just 28000 INR on Flipkart.

  • But irony is LG India did not promote this great device. Not even a single tweet from LG India. LG did not care about marketing.

  • With exchange offer you can get another Rs 5000 off. I can currently buy it for just 43008 after availing the exchange offer (1982 for my current device plus 5000 additional discount). A great deal I would say. LG did right in India by launching the G7 at a price to compete with the likes of OP6 and the V40 with the S9/S9+. Also Samsung reduced the price of the S9 after this V40 launched. LG should have followed this same strategy in other countries too. The G series should be made to compete with the Chinese flagship killers from OnePlus, Honor, Xiaomi, etc. and the V series with Samsung's S series. LG should stop thinking about the Note, iPhones and the Mates.

  • LG is slow for other market. But it is available in India at Amazon with price tag of INR 50,000 which is around $700

  • there is inband ring option in developer option . you can try that once. enable developer option by tapping multiple times "build number" in settings

  • Check out Clove Technology they have UK LG V40s unlocked and specially done for UK market £749.

  • Whose speaker is better LG V40 or LG G7

  • Hi. I am facing a Bluetooth related issue. When i connect my Bluetooth headphone and listen to music and if any call comes in between, then, when I switch it to handset mode the speaker turns on and never turns off even though I change the audio output again. Anyone facong this issue?

  • in my country croatia(EU)lg v40 model 128 gb and 6gb ram cost 640 eur , samsung note 9 base model cost 730 eur

  • Why is LG buttery mostly is not good, i mean use long time as the others?

  • Good question, it was released months ago already.

  • Why did it take a long time to be released in Netherlands anyway?

  • Finally available in The Netherlands, now with a free LG smart speaker.

  • I like LG Phones. Specs are good enough for Games also Camera. The only concern I have is LG don't have any Phone that has 4000mAh or higher. Tsk

  • Looks like LG only focus on USA for their LG V40. Where is the international variant? None existence. As a LG fan, I rather feel disappointed.

  • I hope it drops to 40000 INR just like the G7 dropped within months from 40000 to 30000 INR. The V40 will be a superb phone if it drops to 40K in 3 or 4 months from now.

  • I would have to disagree with you my friend. LG was the 1st to implement the use of the extra wide angle lens set up, the 1st to utilize a Quad DAC audio system, the 1st non-Pixal company to run Nougat out of the box, and one of the first to implement a good dual lens camera set up. LG has always been known for having devices with innovative features. It was too bad that they discontinued the swappable battery and IR features after the V20 which is a great phone that I still use as one of my daily drivers.

  • Some YouTube reviews say that OIS is not available on the Telephoto camera but gsmarena says the opposite. Can someone confirm whether the Telephoto camera has OIS or not ?

  • Hello!!! any burn screen on this device? LG is good but I had V10 and G4 with burn screen and bad battery

  • Lg's products are really very good. I am using Lg G6 thinQ, battery life is not perfectly good but photos are really superb.

  • Ive been using lg for 6 years now. Great phones overall except the battery life!!!!! Only v30 has best battery life. Thats why im not upgrading to v40. V40 has average battery life.

  • Excellent smartphone, salty price.I'm waiting for the Redmi Note 7 (maybe the 6).

  • It's phones are very good.Still using LG p500 bought in 2010

  • Just released in India at Rs 49990

  • The hell needs this phone because of the weak battery, thx LG! :(

  • Because nobody cares about LG smartphone. LG is a nobody in the smartphone space. Its phones don't even sell in its home market. LG is a follower in the design and technology of smartphone, and a slow and incompetent follower at that. Smartphone has been a money losing enterprise for LG, in a way very similar to HTC. (HTC even had a few good years, and LG has never made any money in its phone business.) LG is following HTC slowly but surely towards the smartphone-neverland.

  • V40 will only be available in The Netherlands from February this year, kinda late to be honest.

  • Surprisingly the G7 with a smaller battery and LCD screen gives better battery life than the V40. Overall I think the G7 is the better deal in India only thing we are missing is the Telephoto camera of the V40 but the G7s low price is enough to justify that sacrifice.

  • Anyone in India have to wait for price drop because this device is INR 50,000 which is little bit high. LG device should be buy with little patience of time so you will get better value of money. LG price drop is so frequently. If you want then also peek on LG G7 ThinQ which is INR 33,000 (64GB).

  • v40 will be available in south africa from the 7th of february you can go to any vodacom outlet you,l find it.

  • Can confirm. People are reporting much better SoTs, like really really good SoTs that you wouldn't expect from that 3300mAh battery in it

  • LG V40 ThinQ is arriving INDIA. Sale start from 20th Jan as Amazon Exclusive. I think Flipkart is better option than Amazon for better smartphone sale in India.

  • i was reading somewere...there is active dual sim with dedicated memory card slot (triple slot 2 for sim & 1 for mmc)...is it true...???

  • Lol....same.... Its xiaomi phones. No way Lg to follow xioami big battery style.... But one thing the battery test that made on this site is not 100% correct.....

  • Is Poco F1 and Mi Mix 3 the same?

  • I did...quite a handful of reviewers stated that this is a great device..minus the battery which is just above average but in most cases disappointing...maybe just 1 or 2 reviews stated V40 having a awesome or great battery life...

  • Lol...u just make me laugh.Do check at youtube battery test. V40 beat pocophone F1..... So dont trust 100% on the battery test that was made on this website

  • Lol u just make me laugh...do check at youtube V40 beat pocophone F1 battery test

  • I think LG should make a request to XIAOMI management to help them with battery issues. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, which has a 6.39 display and a smaller battery (same CPU) has a way better battery life than V40...84 hours Xiaomi compared to 64 hours V40...are they better?!

  • This phone is available on the Philippines ????

  • bigger screen than G7....battery consumption is not that well optimized...

  • Battery bigger then LG G7 and battery life is less??? Very strange...

  • Without hesitation. The best LG smartphone that LG has made up to now!But as a omitting habit in LG products ,IR,USB 3.1 + otg has been deleted . The most important:The battery products as usual is 3000 mAh and 3300 mah !!!? Some of the reasons , LG selling has dropped down and qualities go counterclockwise !!!?Itn is a must that brand must consider people smart and genius that they credit for their hardest earnings money. Thanks concious people, gsmArena to follow fact writing, amd LG respects people high ends understanding....

  • It would be no. Phone if it has 4000mah battery , but all lg phone has small batteries.

  • which phone is is the best audio to the headphones among v series?

  • Just makes it.

  • Thanks for sharing,i've had the V10,V30 and now V40.My 1st impression was that this phone had bad Battery life.I went to Settingsence and turned off all the stuff i don't use and there's a difference.Phone shipped with alot of stuff turned on. Hope this helps

  • So the only major con of this device is the battery. The rest two of color accuracy and selfies I don't care about. Hope LG releases an updated version of the phone with bigger battery with better optimisation and of course Android Pie and at a competitive price. This phone has great cameras and audio too but of no use as the battery life sucks.

  • very nice phone waiting

  • Has not been confirmed yet.

  • Thanks for the battery review

  • When will LG V40 be in South Africa?

  • IS the SD card slot dedicated or hybrid? Thanks...

  • I have been using this phone for almost a month. Battery life is not the greatest, but it will comfortably get me through a day of heavy use. I can honestly say that I haven't really had to worry about the battery like their tests would lead you to believe. It's average for a flagship phone, it's far from the worst.

  • I have this phone and it has been great, the photos have gotten better after updates and the battery life although isn't the greatest, it's more than adequate. I average around 5 hours screen on time, which isn't bad.

  • Oreo is out

  • Oh Great phone but battery life is so poor

  • Lg is the the worst company about update.. Im still waiting Oreo for my G5

  • This phone is available on the Philippines ???? I need a reply thanks ^_^

  • I ThinQ that's good: a LG phone with 3 cameras: LG V40 ThinQ

  • Find a custom ROM on something like XDA

  • Although people didn't really give a **** back in 2000

  • Android 8.1 (Oreo) ?? when 9.0

  • Im using v30 now. 151mm in length is ideal size. Perfect size for a smartphone! V40 is too big to fit in pocket man. I wont be ugrading. Nice phone though.

  • Thank u. Finally someone review the real battery life! Battery is most important.

  • I have a V40. The battery will last yoy through a day of moderate use no problem, but it's no Note 9. It gets about the same screen on time as my old Note 8 did.

  • How about the display? did this phone has same issue like V30?

  • Did v40 lost B&O?

  • Click on the battery rating. It's not 64 hours.

  • LG phone batteries are always too small. It's nothing new I'm afraid.

  • Endurance rating 64h??? The battery is so poor, really? Could anyone confirm?

  • Can any real users give a rating on the battery life? Does it last the whole day with moderate to light heavy usage?

  • Any real owners care to share the battery life!!!! Does it last all day until 10pm with moderate to light heavy use?

  • I can only agree with you...

  • Who cares give this device a 5000+ battery and some optimisations problem solved

  • This is the best useless phone on the market depending on the battery time, how hard is to give it some juice so it can last couple of days between charges?

  • Are there any other videos besides that one? Because I looked for others like it amd came ip empty. Therefore, you can't be upset rhat a video shows one thing and a review ahows another. Bring more evidence to the table. And don't get me wrong, I too want to buy this phone, but not with a 64h battery life. Hope new management can do something in the right direction for LG Mobile Division.

  • Better to see this.

  • Idk. Maybe they reviewing the faulty V40. If you dont believe. Better to review it your self at youtube V40 battery test. This phone having a excellent battery life!

  • basically you are saying that GSMARENA did crappy tests?

  • LG, ...when will you make and release a TRUE successor to the V10 and V20 ? ? Second Screen, Removable Battery, Q-Remote .... and to all idiots intending to bash this comment. Shut Up ! ! Go suckle on something if you need to feel better. To all the non-LG smartphone opinions/reviews posted here, your con-game never worked. I've had hands on with other brands... I'm sticking with LG.

  • Lol you are comparing low resolution oppo with high resolution V40. Idk youtubers review V40 battery is good as V30. Idk how come this website get 64hrs. V40 beat Xz3, F1 also XS max at youtube battery test!

  • Making good technology but not launching . New featres added in camera. Not launching. Other companies will copy yours and they release faster than you. WAKE UP LG

  • I've notices that GSMARENA published Realme U1 review. This device has a 3500 mAh and a 6.3' display and it's battery life lasts 93 hours despite the fact that it has an LCD display. V40 has a minimal larger display and a slightly smaller battery. Why did LG did such a poor battery optimization on his flagship considering that V40 only lasts 64 hours..almost 30 hours less than Realme U1?

  • And I still think that HTC u12 plus one of the best Android phone in 2018(except LCD display). Just because of the screen problem (I mean it's not enough brightness for me when I work outside with the phone)and battery life I got OP 6t.

  • HTC u12 plus has 3500 battery and still loose charge fast. And it has 64hr the same as v40. So believe or not it could be true. I do have u12 plus and OP 6t. It's the big difference in battery life.

  • This is actually an LG I would go for if I were to buy another Android phone. Even though I haven't used any LG devices for a long time. Their TVs are good to a point the same rate as the Samsung TVs. And, the triple camera layout may not be that useful but it's a nice feature. It's a nice feature compare to the Pixel 3 XL and the dual front cameras is also nice. I still haven't got over the notch for new phones but it's the new trend, so I'll have to endure this. The battery is meh as because it's as big as the Note 8 from Samsung. Oh well

  • But when we find a huawei mate 20 pro with a better battery and more innovation and a 20 gram thinner, I do not think it is a weight problem.

  • LG have to release a pro version with double endurance time

  • The more battery capacity means a heavier model

  • LG has recently made good phones but I do not know what their problem with the battery, especially its size and duration of use in phones, the fact that whenever I like one of their phones I find this unfortunate for me.

  • What is the problem of Imad With the capacity and duration of battery use, it makes the latest high quality phones but the battery is the problem for me.

  • Is it not coming to the European Union? Why are there only U.S. versions?

  • LG phones are very good but no re-sale value.

  • Launch globally.LG very late.because of late lg mobiles were underated .fast

  • Hi LG !... When you will launch V40 in india.i think after snapdragons 855processor. Be fast to deliver customers... Every time you launching very lately. You are loosing ur customers. Be fast here onwards

  • Could you check the screen for any PWM Flickering issue (how to check? example youtube "LG PWM Test")

  • True. V40 sot about 7hrs. Its should be 90hrs endurance V40 beat sony XZ3 and pocophone F1 at the youtube battery test!

  • i'm using the v30. one of the best phone with excellent battery life. They messed up with the v40 due to the average battery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! come on LG!!!!! Battery life is the 1st priority in a phone!!!!

  • i think is is most under rated smartphone for the year

  • Are you sure endurance rating 64. Impossible. Youtube reviews showing better battery. I think you are supporting chinese items. Trusted site but

  • A little upgrade on the battery life maybe? Then this phone will be great.

  • No. You should switch to OnePlus 6, because I have 6t

  • need to upgrade battery mah tats all lg

  • I can agree with you that LG for example G6+ has better colours on pictures than s8, note8 and p20 pro and better zoom than p20 pro. Youtubers fake alot of examples. Everyone try alone this phones. And I love my camera over V30 and G7 too. G6's has better colours and wide angle camera.

  • Guys thinQ atleast once before you buy this phone .phone is good if you can plug with the charger all the time.because battery dies in three hour of screen time.

  • I wanted to truly get this phone... everything is top about this phone... I really like lg because they make very very dependable phones... but in this phone I was expecting something which is the LONGER BATTERY LIFE... I guess I will stick to my LGV20 for now... Their battery is not too good, but I guess I will have to wait until the next V series phone... and if not then I will have to switch to the NOTE 9

  • Great phone but average battery life. Failed! Battery is my main buying point.

  • What about screen quality? How long Life ...

  • Idk how they made the battery test. So poor test. Saw the video at youtube V40 even beat pocophone f1 and sony xz3

  • another wise guy from the crowd...

  • Battery life is Very Very bad 😂😂

  • +1 @admin did you guys forget about this flagship?

  • has GSMARENA ran out of employees to make a review for this device or are they being told not to?

  • LG fixed my two V10's that my kids used. I gave them another chance because of that. Plus 3 49" 4k tv's to help me switch carriers didn't hurt :D

  • Dont ever worry about lg batteries. Even with the lg g5 2800mah, it still got more juice than the s8. Lg use better batteries than the rest of the competition thats why with 3300mah battery, it still has endurance than the likes with even 4,000mah

  • It better to think twice while buying brand phones. No updates, no security patches, high pricing, and very less buy back. Especially talking about LG phones, My G5 struck with Nougat and my security patch more than one year old. Resale value is not more than 3K. Never buy again LG phones.

  • Is GSMArena not reviewing this phone? I'm waiting for the battery endurance and audio tests...

  • 8 + 5 selfie cam

  • Poor you. Now im still using V10 for 3 years, still working good

  • 4 years ago... still lots of thinks are changing in 4 years

  • I will never buy any lg phone after my v10got boot loop and stopped working and the lg agent in Egypt refused to fix it

  • Lg is not working like same as nokia . only 8 MP Selfie camera in 2018 in flag ship phone who will buy this phone definatly lg Will lost his name full name half name already lost and in future no one asking for LG Phone.

  • Where is reviews? GSM pls. Or say LG V40 endurace rating.

  • LG is going backwards. Not an error.

  • I'm surprised to see that listed in the specifications it only has 2.0, Type-C not 3.1, Type-C 1.0 ? Is this an error or are lg going backwards....

  • Well, going from a Moto Z Play Droid to the V40, I'm sure that I'll be happy enough. The Droid does have a bigger battery, but my USB-C port crapped out a little over a year after I got it. So, I bought the wireless charging Moto Mod and a Qi pad for home and one for the truck. Sloooow charging going that route, definitely not the Turbocharger that I could just plug in, when I first started with it. Funny how my HTC M8 did the same thing, so I had to make a claim, got a new one, and that lasted to the end of my contract with Verizon. In fact, I had to upgrade early to the Moto because I'm apparently too hard on my charging ports?!🙄

  • YouTube say 7hour SoT. OnePlus 6T 7:56 and Note 9 8:26! Not bad for LG with 3300mAh and QHD+.

  • about battery sucks and this is one area that all manufacturers need to improve on with all these powerful guts and this little phone at least a 5-6 amp battery

  • The LG v40 is an awesome phone! one thing I don't see listed in the specifications is a selfie camera but in all reality it does and I forget what it's called it's the third icon button on the camera mode and it takes you into a selfie mode but it's not listed in the specs

  • Really nice one...but what about the battery? Could be a little weak? What about a release in Germany / import? Does anybody know a good shop? Thanks

  • Nice matte colour

  • This phone is getting a lot of love nice come back LG keep it up

  • Please post the review. We are all interested in the battery test!

  • Yo GSMARENA! When can we expect the review? I'm waiting for it, because your reviews are the most reasonable and correct ones.

  • No reviews? Why. Pls GSM! Reviews LG V40.

  • Buy the v40, at least you've got a masterpiece.

  • Check out the speed performance vs the iphone on youtube Battery on my LGg6 lasts longer than the samsung s8. The v30 also got very impressive battery life reviews and should last longer than Oneplus 6. Not sure about the V40 battery SOT but I am postive it will not be that bad. Only thing preventing me from buying the V40 is the price. I do not want to spend to spend 800usd on any smartphone that will be outdated within a year.

  • The V40 has triple slot. You can use 2 sims and another 128gb memory card. So for your recordings you save directly to memory card and transfer much easier to your home computer or storage system.

  • Yes do that. Me to

  • Note7 corpse.. Exploded battery fiasco. I think that you mean lol

  • I have a note 7, there’s no reason to be jealous of anything.

  • For a device that it's main focus is media, LG fucked up by making it with a meager 64gb of storage. I use my V30+ and frequently record audio that uses up 1gb of storage. For what I can gather they didn't even build a higher cap version like they did with the V30, in which a limited version 256gb was built. That is the main reason why I skipped it, and instead chose the V30+.

  • Compared to Oneplus6T, it has better sound and better camera, yet pitiful battery which in my case is more important, apple notch with less screen surface, yet width beyond 7.5cm, less ram+storage for double the 6T price. I really fail to understand how they justify double the price? And why ppl pay that...

  • Ppl buying other mobiles ..lately you are releasing. Instantly u r loosing ur customers

  • Why lg is very late to release Lg mobiles in india... Samsung gave s9plus 845sd againg note9 845sd... Lg g7 845sd now v40 again late

  • Only v30 has the best battery life. It can last 2 days with moderate use! Lg phones are great but the battery is poor. We need v40 review!

  • I can see some inferiority complex lol

  • Yes all.. Not from crap huawei wifi hahahaha

  • I do care because i'm the one buying it. Across many things i found more cons on LG TV (only their OLED are good). Mostly all their mid range TV using a low contrast IPS display & low input lag. All display panel from LG? What a joke. Only Sony OLED panel using LG, but they making a good use of it to make it better. LCD panel for Sony supplied from either Samsung or Sharp. Please educate yourself more.

  • Please review LG V40 GSM Arena. I want to buy it, but before that, need to know your review on it.

  • Lol who care you review it or not So you dont even realised all displayed material are from Lg Lol where the source you get mid range tv got issue??

  • I wait on LG V40 review!! Gsmarena pls review.

  • Sony use LG panel yes, but they got their own chipset called X-Reality, X-tended Dynamic Range, Pixel contrast booster, Acoustic surface & many other features than just a basic OLED tv. LG OLED tv are great, but their mid range & lower end TV are pathetic with a lot of issues & very low contrast ratio compare to Sony & Samsung TV. Dont talk to me about electronic things, everytime i wanna buy, I check and reviewed throughly before buying it. I know what i'm talking about.

  • Agree with u 99999999%.

  • Really nice phone with essential, desirable features with top notch specs. I would buy this over the S9 plus. But, my only wish is bigger battery.

  • Agree 1000% LoL

  • Lg V40 thinq is better then huawai mate 20 pro

  • Agree 100%. I have V30 But this year Mate 20 Pro is better than V40. I'll switch to that

  • Why gsmarena always does late in reviewing LG smartphones.. please quickly give review

  • Lol Lg electronics not good quality? Wake up huawei fanboys hahaha they made billion of money from Lg electronic corp...what wifi?? Hahaha

  • Lol even sony use Lg panel hahaha

  • Lol tiny crap wifi ahahaha.... Sory low quality...our wifi is pro link....

  • Next time educate yourself first then talk. I think u wouldnt even realize all of your wifi routers & broadband your using are Huawei made. LG even doesnt have good quality even in electronic products now. I only buy either Sony, Samsung or Hitachi for my electrical home appliance using my hard earned money. When LG came back to top 5, wake me up please.

  • Lol do watch at youtube V30 beat all crap pro huawei phones...which rely on crap big battery. Also V40 beat pocophone F1.....

  • Well hahaha u are talking huawei copycay company 2nd because their cheap notch phone sell well this year.. Who cares... People tend to buy cheap phones. Lol Lg tv...aircon...home appliances...??? Can huawei compete wirh Lg branded giant company?? Lg former top 5 world smartphones and one of the oldest company in the world. Lol now. I guest Lg on the top 10th..... Lg biggest oled tv and smart watch display panel supplier in the world.....well mobile divison is just their hobby ....

  • Really? Ask any user experience using Mate 9, Mate 10 & Mate 20 pro in real life. The battery life of it triumph and its one of the reason people buy it. AI will learn your usage pattern & after a week, it will perform brilliantly. Easily 2-3 days life. Samsung Galaxy S8 score 84h in lab test, but in real life usage? Doesnt even last a day. If u dont experience things like i do about EMUI & many other branded phones out there, educate yourself. Huawei is no. 2 brand in the world, in front of Apple. Where is LG located? I know, if its in a pie chart, it belongs to 'others'.

  • Is it dual Sim with micro SD...??

  • No lh. Mate20 is crap worst phone with big battery but worst battery life admit that. Useless 4200mah. Even V30 wipeout all huawei phone V40 far more better than crap mate20 pro

  • Agree. Battery life on Huawei flagship phones were really good in real life. The main weakness of LG are availability & updates. When it lacks availability, lacks of service support automatic comes in mind.

  • Pathetic. Mate 20 pro excels better in many department compare to LG V40. Battery life? Please use Huawei phone first then talk. In lab test, it perform average, but on real life, its incredible. LG? Good luck with updates.

  • I used LG phones three times. The last one was G4 which was a perfect phone with a perfect camera except the battery life. LG bateries are terrible. Did not last a day especially after 6 months. Now I have been using Huawei Mate 9 for the last two years. Both its battery and camera are good (although the camera is not as good as LG G4).

  • Lol no need to choose crap mate 20 pro with useless 4200mah battery. Worse low quality battery phone and low quality amoled screen Less see what V40 get for battery with only 3300mah battery

  • I like that on my V30. But with 6.4" I would have wanted 20g more with a 4.000 Mah This is why, this time I choose Mate 20 Pro

  • Dude , you’re absolutely right about your opinion on the phone manufacturers They all do the same thing over and over again , it in a different package Its a way to keep the money flow , any corporation on any industry does just that or they will run out of that thing called money flow Sure as hell the tech companies do it at a faster speed , and on top of that the have the ability to make your last year model die prematurely , so that you go back and just replace it , with the new , faster , bigger , prettier and with about 126 cameras on the back alone You got the picture

  • v40 is the lightest phone with 6"4 screen in the market right now. Being using V10 for 3 years crap a heavy phone..

  • Any thoughts on the battery life guys. Battery is the most important matter in a phone.

  • Ive used g2-g6 n now v30. V30 by far the best lg phone except the front camera!!! V40 no doubt one of the best. But dam! Can they make the size any bigger? 158mm long as to 151mm on v30. Too big n long to fit in pocket! Same with note 8 n 9.

  • I was thinking about purchasing the V40, mainly for the screen quality as well as speed, functions of the camera, sound quality, and speed of the phone itself. I would like to see your thoughts.

  • Where are the all effing colors !?!?!?.. that LG just loves flaunting everytime they announce their flagship phones !?!?!? Sheese LG !?!? And for those who are wondering (though it's none of your business) ...I do like LG flagship phones, I do buy LG flagship phones... what I DON'T do is close my eyes (or forget to think) when I hand someone $900 cash (+ tax/tariff) !?!? I'm not like most idiots normally here commenting "LG sucks" but never even bought one !?!? Don't be a mindless person. Think about what LG and those others are doing in regards to Bull Manure products. They're selling the same old thing to you in every "new" product they release. It's just more of the same. I'm just getting so tired of it LG. I guess we have a love hate thing, ...no other damn explanation.

  • Not really...V40 the best for all the feature and size. But hate the stupid notch

  • The second best. The best is Mate 20 Pro

  • I think u are jealous. Haters like to cuss the thing that they dont like right? Lol

  • but at this time this phone is one the best on the market

  • V40 will crush 6t in every angle

  • Are there any news on release date in Europe?

  • Three cameras on the back makes this phone frekin ugly!

  • I own Lg V30 which I bought 100% for the battery and wide angle camera. The display I expected to be good, but I was surprise to compare it with my colleagues with S9+ , S8 , Note 8 and Xs and to see V30 BETTER. NOT YOUTUBE COMPARES . LIVE COMPARES It was a surprise to me, and especially my colleagues !!! Only Note 9 is same level of quality !! I repeat, I was surprised as I don't even care about that Now I just preordered Mate 20 Pro - 100% for the battery and Wide angle camera. So I'm not an Lg fan or any other company fan . I'm a fan of my money - to get the best for my money SO , DON'T EVER TRUST YOUTUBE'S REVIEWS. TEST IT YORSELF . YouTube-ers are all about 💰💰💰 It's an enormous industry , with enormous 💰💰💰 - as they sell one piece of device more expensive than an entire PC. Samsung Huawei, and especcialy Apple have ENORMOUS MARKETING BUDGETS to pay YouTube-ers ... TEST IT YOURSELF I will compare Mate 20 Pro with my current V30 and if the quality of camera is not better I'll take my money back

  • May I know what phone you are using

  • Display it’s not better the review already done on phonearena and V40 got 7 out 10 LOL.

  • Which has better indoor camera quality, lg v40 or oneplus 6??

  • You literally cannot compare the two. I do agree that 900$ is too much for a phone, but then again you cant put your TV in a pocket and call, text, take photos, etc. (phones are made to literally replace basic PC functions and be portable). Both have an entirely different purpose. And just so you dont get the wrong idea, OLED is a lot more expensive than LCD, if you want a phone with an LCD display you will pay less, if you want one with OLED you will pay more (just because those panels are smaller doesnt mean they are cheaper, after all, you need to fit everything in that small body). You want an OLED LG TV? Well, you need to pay min 1700$. You want an IPS? You can get same TV with all same functions (Smart, 4K, etc.) for less than 700$ (and LG has best both LCD and OLED TVs). There is a difference so please consider it.

  • I wait on LG V40 review and battery life and sunlight test. On YT test display is better than iCrap XS Max.

  • Flagship phones can't get away with barely adequate batteries any longer. If you want a premium price you need a premium battery. Otherwise midrange is the way to go.

  • Can't wrap my mind around or convince myself to spend $900 on something that weighs less than half a pound (lbs) and the size of an oversized candy bar. A 2K LED television ($900) is thirty times larger uses way more material like glass, metal, wires, sensors and all other things and last longer than most flagship phones built 5 years ago. $900 !?!? UNBELIEVABLE LG ?!?? Shove any smartphone that's worth more than $300 and last only two years up your $#@!?

  • How can LG be so stup!d over and over regarding selfie camera. Making wide angle second selfie camera is good move, but only 5MP (AGAIN) kills it! They made previous mistake with 5MP V30 selfie camera. I expected V40 as flagship have a selfie like Pixel 3! Not brutal 5MP again in 2018! LG really needs to fire there smartphone departement.

  • BestBuy now selling the LGv40 for usd 750.

  • How about your TV, refrigerator, oven or air conditioning units? Can you refund them when broken? Do you hate them as well? -,-

  • Lol nothing wrong? why not to compare since both having the same hardware... But different battery capacity

  • Brother poco f1 is 350$ only why do you even comparing it even if it beats poco for its battery what about its price tag ....I don’t think that the difference is more than 1 hour extended (without battery saver).its not worth it ..and stop it with comparing poco f1 ..

  • Yeah but V40 beat the cheap pocophone F1 4000mah battery test....dont judge from its 3300mah battery...

  • I saw today V40 battery test comparison with Note9 , iphone xs max and pocophone F1 at youtube korean channel. V40 beat Xs max and F1. V40 battery time about 9hrs 16min and note9 about 10hrs.

  • has two version lg v40 . lg v40 6gb ram 64 gb and lg v40+ with 6gb ram 128 gb

  • after 3 or 4 monts . price drops 50 %

  • Guess what, Steve Jobs is dead, Tim Cook is in charge now

  • Is not overpriced...the promises of apple is not fullfiled, does not have fm radio (promised by steve jobs), most of the same android programs in apple are paid (if you do not try denon hd audio where eq is free on android and apple is worth 3.49 euros), so carrying what this lg takes, I will change it when it comes out, I have a v30 and I am delighted of life, and that if I change it ... more than anything for the screen that looks good measuring 6.45

  • Can't wait for the review - would like to know how the screen and battery life are this time around. I have a V30 and if this phone is doing well I will consider a V50 when it is time to upgrade. Can't get enough of that headphone jack & MQA compatibility!

  • When available in USA ? amazon market

  • iphone x max cost 2000$ . lg v40 is overpriced

  • what is camera sensor size for v40?

  • Legit where is the IQ in that comment.

  • Then protect your phone

  • is it possible to get back money of phone if it breaks-NO (like all of the phones)? I completely hate mobile phones.

  • Good

  • The weight of this phone is lightest among other crap phones out there.

  • It this dual sim?

  • 900 dollars? Wow so cheap, this phone supposedly priceless, LG is the future and it does not come cheap...

  • Leave them alone you bully

  • LG has big big problem with thier phones , It's battery efficiency.

  • Please let us know which phone you use that has a much larger battery capacity. 3300mAH is 10% more than the Galaxy 9S and the same as Sony ZX3 and OnePlus 6. The fingerprint placement is better than having it on the front, try taking your phone from your pocket and unlocking one-handed.

  • Why so shocked? 3300mAH is 10% more than the Galaxy S9, same as Sony XZ3 and OnePlus 6.

  • Numbers don't tell the whole story. The battery seems to be good enough and the phone performs above average concerning the battery.

  • Thats why it has expandable storage.

  • Oh god. Just 3300 mAh :(

  • It has a card slot, that's even better than 128gb.

  • True, I've been using V20 since its launch. Battery is the only thing, but thanks to replaceable extended ones, it goes on and on...

  • Yeah but how many flagship phone besides Samsung Note 9 has SD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack?

  • 6GB RAM sufficient but only 64GB internal mem is little bit obsolete for a flagship

  • Yes it does.

  • Fyi ot does have a headphone jack in the US.

  • how about Infrared?

  • agree, no headphone jack and 1440p display with shit battery are no-go for me, also this fp placement is awful design and the way it feels in hand are very premium though, cant deny that

  • lmao. does oneplus have these ? = - IP68 dust/water proof (up to 1.5m for 30 mins) - MIL-STD-810G compliant -1440 x 3120 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~537 ppi density) - Dolby Vision/HDR10 compliant -microSD, up to 512 GB (dedicated slot) -back camera = 12 MP, 27mm (standard), f/1.5, 1.4µm, 3-axis OIS, dual pixel PDAF 12 MP, 52mm (telephoto), f/2.4, 1.0µm, 2x optical zoom, OIS, PDAF 16 MP, 16mm (ultrawide), f/1.9, 1.0µm, no AF -front camera = 8 MP, 26mm (standard), f/1.9, 1.4µm 5 MP, 21mm (wide), f/2.2, 1.4µm - 32-bit/192kHz audio - 24-bit/48kHz audio recording - DTS: X Surround Sound -Stereo FM radio with RDS -USB 3.1

  • Lg makes decent phone but their sales marketing is suck

  • Underated?? Sony xz3?? Lol crap heavy and bulky thick phone.

  • Never buy an lg device. lg is the worst manufacturer in softwar and security updates

  • Underrated phone my ass. Xperia XZ3 is the most underrated phone of 2018. Don't get me wrong, this is a really good phone, but it's not underrated.

  • Definitely more interesting than Sony XZ3 in everywhere. I just find stupid that they make 3 cameras.. while they could just make at least 1.3-1.5x on main sensor, which is very possible. And again..why make 2 frontal cameras with NEARLY identical FOV? I can understand like 20-30 degrees difference, but here it doesnt justify itself. Again, you can make a 1.3x on frontal if you really need it... and not make a 4gb ram version at all xD

  • Here you go. It even has a Hi-Fi audio remaster. :)

  • maybe also try and look at meizu m6 note whatever you want is an outdated phone, like 2017, since everything now has a notch, or a sony phone

  • xperia xa2 is the closest i can think of, IPS display and average battery

  • Whatever I think about this phone, it's the same old you find everywhere. But rather than criticizing the same old: I would spend alot of money on a 5" bezelless screen (no notch), 3,5mm jack, 4500mAh, 1080p OLED Screen, Dual or even single Cam, !no! front cam, !no! stereo speakers, ~SD 710 - and hell, that's not flagship-like 2018...but everything I would love. Why is there no small sized midrange phone with decent design and decent specs anymore? Everything nice is 6"+ with 845, 3000-4000mAh only, no heaphone jack and 800€+, I don't know anyone except myself buying such stupid phones...and I only do because the nex and mix look fantastic compared to anything else.

  • Mr.mobile said its barely enough, do not forget it was also a brand new device so what happens after a year or two? O3O

  • OLED screen display is not a power hungry ... 3300 will enough...

  • I do agree 100 % with what you said

  • Sounds better accompanied by harp.

  • Awesome phone. Well worthy heir to the great V-series and a worthy challenger to the excellent Note9. ThanQ, LG! Only downside would be the notch. At least it is one of the less intrusive ones. 3.5 mm headphone jack. microSD card slot. FM Radio too. IP68 ingress protection and MIL-STD-810G compliant. Great 6.4 inch QHD+ OLED display. Great design (low-bezel front and arrangement of triple cam in the back). Dual Pixel Autofocus, 1.4 um pixel size and F1.5 aperture main camera. Superb and useful triple camera combination of extra wide angle and telephoto. Boombox speaker (could have been stereo though). Hopefully the battery life is similar to that of the great LG V30 and it's 3300 mAh battery.

  • GSMArena please review LG V40, I want to know how long the battery last... how good LG in software optimization on their 3,300 mAh battery flagship. I have read a decent battery review on LG V30 but not sure about LG V40

  • RIP with battery 3300mah, with big screen and high res

  • Oneplus duh

  • Awesome phone

  • They as anyone manufacturer aren't interested to upgrade their products but only the cash of the users as short time possible.

  • 3300 mAh in a 6.4" and Snapdragon 845 Phone? I bet this will have GREAT Battery life (sarcasm)

  • V40 is good, no doubt. A dual SIM with dedicated microSD (3 slots), IR, 4000 mAh battery is what would complete it as worthy successor to my V20. I'm always connected 4G/WiFi, no gaming, corporate emails, couple of IMs, no Facebook, checking news few times a day, a bit of music and moderate calls daily. I use V20 camera most of the times for family pics in difficult situations (indoor, mall, backlit outdoor) other than dedicated events when I carry my DSLR. My V20 does all this for me, but the battery is pathetic. I've Hyperion 6400 mAh extended battery to go through the day. Have another 5000 mAh slip in doc kind. These stay in my backpack without any inconvenience most of the times. I'll give it a miss without 3 slots, IR and good battery. These are a must to upgrade. I'm not after free OS updates as such, apps never really catch up without issues and iterations, so stability is the key for me and must be for anybody, but security updates are a must.

  • What issues?

  • After the existence of Galaxy Note9, there is no way that I'll consider buying an LG phone these days.

  • Its LG uniq design,no questionable. When u see it,u know its LG phones

  • How is your front camera quality in Lg v30

  • LG first fix the issues that are in LG V30 .

  • battery size too low.

  • Truly!

  • yeah, it's a bad pun

  • Could just Lg name it V40?? The thinq sound crap . Next G8 or V50.

  • Hmm I think I'm gonna stick to my v20 for a couple of years more and then just get an Iphone. LG is getting too much attention over nothing...

  • Ahaha....Dude,go and buy a tablet with sim support...

  • Well, actually I never had any hardware problem with LG phones, unlike any other brand.

  • P-OLED great, 3.5 mm jack good, 5 camera? absolutely yes, a notched display with thin chin is acceptable, 3300 mAh battery? it's a joke.

  • r u on weed ?? heres the comparison between oneplus 6 and LG V40 now tell me who offers more ?

  • Everything is great except for the small battery (As always), the notch and the fact that it's LG (They are not exactly known for their great hardware and software quality. Their phones always have poor reception, always overheating and whatnot).

  • But u can setting it,broo....

  • Battery and storage will be the death of this phone. Like come on, only 64GB???

  • What do they offer? Oh yeah they offer NO HEADPHONE JACK lol!

  • Come on why the triple camera design is really un-inspiring at all, Huawei P20 Pro has better design of triple camera, V20 is still having better design with dual screen and the very last removable battery flagship smartphone

  • I have a V30. Battery is good 👍 normally use ,up to 55 hours. 7-8 hours Display used. Or from 7 to 16 hour intensely used ~34% Battery

  • Unfortunately I don't like the image quality of the main camera. Despite good hardware, software seems not so good. Or it focuses bad. V30 images are better. Strangely I find the wide angle swell as the telephoto image, both to be sharper and better than the main camera.

  • I have a V30. Battery is good 👍 normally use ,up to 55 hours. 7-8 hours Display used. Or from 7 to 16 hour intensely used ~34% Battery

  • Why phones so big? LG V30 was perfect !!!!!!!!!

  • The LG skin sucks. 3300 to small. I like the quad dac.

  • 800 euros? I mean really LG.... OnePlus offers a lot more for a lot LESS MONEY.

  • Despite the notch, this phone looks so great in the blue color, what a beauty! LG also has a good battery endurance despite only packing a 3300mah battery in this phone, good job LG.

  • Endurance ratings and real battery life are two different animals. Lg are known for poor battery life and the trend continues. I have had them all the g series untill the g6 and v series untill the v30. They all shared common problem POOR BATTERY LIFE.

  • $949 for a 3300 mAh battery? Device makers aren't getting it. If you want to command very large prices with an Android phone it better have a killer battery, 4000 mAh minimum. I won't consider a phone with a smaller battery than that, no matter how "optimized" it is.

  • Phone with excellent specifications but has two important defects: The barely 3300 mA battery? The memory of only 6/64? It does not specify if it brings the bands LTE 4, 7 and 38 for Latin America. I will look for other brands that meet these basic requirements.

  • It is a basic model with the smallest specifications, it will be a model with a more RAM and storage available.

  • Stop posting stupid things, first try or read from others who tested it, the same Chinese phone that has 4000mh is weaker than the battery that V30 has the same 3300 battery On GSM arena p20 pro with 4000 scores Endurance rating 89h LG V30 Endurance rating 93h... LG V40 have more efficient chipset and a screen, so there will be better endurance than the V30, and the V30 was among the top phones in terms of battery power. Be realistic once and let LG be better than others apple has very good battery Endurance rating 79h

  • Looks excellent but really a lost opportunity again.... The phone would sell like hot cakes if the screen was 6.6 to 6.8" and this would also allow a bigger 4000 to 4400 mAh battery. The LG mobile division will die if they don't stop copying Samsung and really produce something unique....When I bought the LG G3 they were pioneers....shame

  • My next phone. Amazing specs!

  • Internal memory 64 gb????? Really?????

  • No stereo speakers?

  • 80% of household??? That's BS. More like 80% of my living room. No kitchen, laundry, bedroom, bathroom, or office have IR devices. Well maybe if you wasted tons of money on smart bulbs. The only things I have (in a reasonably sized house mind you) are Tv's, sound system, AC and one RGB bulb which is controlled by remote, not smartphone.

  • LG V40 19.5:9 no 18:9

  • Still 3000 mAh?

  • Omg when will this company understand battery life. 3300mah you gotta be joking???? Even chienese are putting huge 4000+ batteries on phones this big. Joke.

  • What is the Real screen to body ratio for V40??

  • Is it Dual SIM with dedicated SD Card slot?

  • we do not want thin phones! don't give me 3000mah-ish batteries!!!

  • I don't know anybody using infrared on their phones. It might be a feature for some people, but definitely a minor one for a smartphone.

  • The chin is a hella lot smaller than competitors though.

  • This phone has a chin both on the bottom and the top and a notch. And a very small battery. Good job LG...

  • 6gb of ram and 64 gb of internal storage only???? Really???

  • Unfortunately the V20's full features never more will appear. LG has came again to the 'correct' industrial policy. The V40's battery demonstrates it.

  • No led notification as in LG E980, nice colorful back (hopefully without logo; names tag; silver finish around the button) but all models got black front...why oh why. Like in E980 I have white everywhere. They could also focus more on low light shoots.

  • i don't believe many manufacturers will do wide angle lenses except LG, so your choices are pretty limited.

  • In compare to p20 pro. Lg forgot the most important feature Infrared. 80% household item still run on infared. TV, AC, setup box, media player , etc

  • How wide will the wide lens be is the biggest deciding factor for me. I am sticking with my G5 until a 135 degree angle is gain available (from whichever manufacturer makes one...)

  • Verizon's LG V20 finally gets its Oreo update :

  • I do not think 3300 mah battery is a problem. Look at V30+, it also take the good performance and battery life. I am using V30+ and waiting V40+. I actually will buy this phone.

  • LG always brings some good Phones but always goes down underrated... They need to work on the Battery Capacity... LG G2 was the best selling Phone for them because it had everything at that time... The FHD Screen and 3000 mAh Battery... Which no one used to provide... Thats the reason they sold it well... But even today, LG hasn't improved the Battery Capacity... I don't know why... Here its 6.4 screen QHD Resolution but still 3300 mAh Battery... It is practically not enough to light up this Phone for enough time...

  • I was wonderring if it has IR blaster built in as V20.

  • Totally agree. 3300mAh battery kills this for me even though the rest of the phone looks great. You need to be able to keep up with the Note 9 and P20 Pro, LG!

  • If you think 3,300 mah is good enough, then think about how great 4000 mah would be. Does that make any sense to you now??

  • My honest advice to those thinking of buying the v40 to don't, Lg is the worst mobile manufacturer when it comes to after-sale-services, no software updates nor security patches, I believe Lg will be out of the market in 5 year or less.

  • Cinemagraphs is useless without enough battery to power the device throughout the whole day.

  • Hi everyone, I am using LG V20 for 18months, warranty is expired still waiting for Oreo Updates. LG is least bothered for the existing customers who have purchased their product, Please don't Buy LG devices or you will become one of us "idiots for purchasing LG product".

  • Both but V40 will have slightly more manual settings.

  • i'll definetly agree with you sir.. its not all about mAh .. but the optimazation of the software.. i have s7 edge , s8 plus , lg g5 , lg g6 and Lg v30+ .. and v30+ can last a day without plugging to my powerbank..

  • This phone is joke 800 euros for this funny - Fast battery charging: 50% in 36 min (Quick Charge 3.0) That Oppo lamborgini edion can charge same size battery up to 100% in same time. This is just joke. Rest of the specs are ok but for 600 not 800 euros. LG way.

  • Easy to recognise Lg phone by the horizontal camera replacement. Hope they maintain that design.

  • The V30 has 3,300mah battery and battery life is great, It's note ALL about the miliamps, an efficient phone will last a long time with this battery just, like the V30 does. Wait for the endurance tests before jumping into conclusions.

  • I am waiting for this beast. What I am afraid is the battery life though. If indeed is only 3300, that could not be enough. I mean look at other companies, they use bigger ones.

  • Which phone is good for camera (manual camera).. V40 ThinQ or G7 ThinQ.. thankss

  • 4000 mah battery or I'm done with LG

  • LG will fail big if they don't go for 4000mah battery capacity.

  • Everything is great except battery. Should have been at least 3750 mah. LG PHONES have great build quality, great audio, etc... Yeah camera. My only gripe is their minimal battery.

  • It's October and this phone is still rumored?

  • What are you doing LG.Again notch and only 3300 mah battery and OMG is this a joke 6.4 inch ugly screen like LG G7 ??

  • Hahahahahaha

  • absolutely agreed. I own a V30 and the size is perfect.

  • Despite the bigger screen than it is in V3o, I hope V40's overall size will not be much bigger than V30's, because V30's size is just perfect. Making bigger phones is madness. They even do not fit to a pants pocket!

  • Thank you for that!

  • Why is none of the big phone makers implementing dual frequency GNSS with a Broadcom BCM47755 chip ?

  • Planned obsolescence, put a small non-removable battery in big screen phone requiring many charge cycles per week. Battery only charges so many times…..!

  • It's not just the battery size, it's the optimization! LG is pretty good at that. Would I also like a bigger battery??? Of course! But if you know anything about last year's LGV30, You would know that it beat almost every other smartphone with bigger battery packs. This year with the efficient SD845 as well as Android Pie's Adaptive Battery features, it should reach if not beat the current champion Galaxy Note 9! The only thing more exciting than the V40 will be the V50, which, due to a smaller architecture (10nm SD835 vs 7nm SD855) should give 50% better battery life over the v30.

  • Time it takes to need to charge the battery > Charging quickly There will ALWAYS be a nice downtime for an hour so you can charge your phone from 20% to 80%. I'd rather have a battery that goes the ENTIRE day on heavy usage without needing to charge it than charging the battery 'faster'. It's like wanting QuickCharge vs a removable battery.

  • I hope they will use Gorilla glass 6

  • But the battery charges so fast ...

  • Every other company making batteries bigger except LG. If this battery is only 3300mAh I'm done with LG.

  • not official specifications

  • Always like LG but this time I'm very disappointed with the single sim and 3,300 mAh battery. Not good, LG . . . Not good.

  • It was already announced that it's getting stereo speakers along with keeping the Quad-DAC in the headphone jack so you're good.

  • Oh my god I forgot LG was even going to announce this phone!

  • I find hard to believe that you can get 10 hours with those settings and a mixed usage... VERY hard to believe it.

  • I keep it on auto. That's around 40-50% indoors. 100% outdoors.

  • You'll probably give it the lightest use ever with the screen at 10 or 20% brightness. The only time I managed 8 hours was when I was trying to stretch it the most and it only had wifi on, with the screen at 30% at most, not even with a sim card on...

  • announcement 3.10. confirmed:

  • V30 has excellent battery life with 3300 mAh. Mine can do 10 hours SoT.

  • if there's no stereo speakers no purchase!

  • Lg V30 have a good Battery life

  • battery doesn t lreally matter these days. we have too big and bright screens and other functions and even 4000 isntead of 3300 won t bring much of a change. d as I do. an asus zenfone 10050mAh battery with me always. i never ever worry about battery

  • Bettery is 3300 in 2018 And huawei had 4000 in 2015 Lg never had a good bettery life after i used 4 mobiles (lg HD_lg hd4_lgv10 lg 4g)and all of them with bad bad bettery life

  • Samsung phones support most network bands unlike with LG their phones have limited network bands.

  • almost all flagship going with 4000mah like Note 9 & Huawei P20 Pro

  • lg always poor battery!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Even if it doesn’t have that big of a battery, I have faith in the legendary battery optimization that LG uses.

  • My v20 upgrade has come

  • Lg's best. That v40 sounds great. Will be waiting for +model. 6.5 inch........ Niiiiiiice.

  • Pixel 3 XL👎 I don't like it

  • have you seen the google pixel 3 notch? it's way worse

  • Huawei - no micro SD - no Radio - no 3,5 Jack - ~ 200g Lg V30/G7 - Radio Fm - micro SD - 3,5 Jack -DAC Boom Speaker - ~160g IR is for TV. Who watching TV today? Nobody

  • I personally find notches to be ugly, but I think that the iPhone X's notch is the ugliest of them all. I also like how LG tries to provide much more screen as compensation for the notch. If I were to the willing to spend lots of money on a phone, this might be the one I wanted to buy. the V40 looks to be a great jack-of-all-trades phone!

  • For those reading, they revealed that this phone has stereo speakers! Now to hope it comes with at least a 3,800 mAH battery and this phone would be PERFECT!

  • Huawei flagships have IR

  • which flaggschiff has infrared today? No one

  • I always beleive on LG, No regrets here

  • no infrered

  • very true, if they dont use their terrible skin and stick with stock, this will be a viable option

  • "if lg takes the stock android route rather than the skin on top , put a bigger battery , this can finally be the option we all are waiting for" ^this

  • if lg takes the stock android route rather than the skin on top , put a bigger battery , this can finally be the option we all are waiting for

  • How is 6GB of RAM a bad decision? Sure, 8GB is more, but then their price would at the stupid level that Apple and Samsung are asking. You look at how many users would actually push a phone to USE 6GB of RAM (1% or less) and you find a very SMALL group. Not enough to justify the added expense when 6GB of RAM will suffice for 99% of the average user base who would buy this phone. Is it a flagship? Yes. Just because it doesn't meet your definition of "flagship" doesn't mean it won't be a good phone, and sell decent quantities.

  • in the world where a flagship has all there is to offer LG has it's flagship with 6GB ram... Not so surprising that LGs mobile decision looses money!

  • that headphone jack, though...

  • This device better have more than 3,300 mAh.

  • sadly, it is true.

  • Why 4 back cameras. 3 is enough and these are unnoficial renders. As for an optical reader, I think they're waiting for the ultrasonic fingerprint reader that's even better than regular fingerprint readers

  • No dual front camera and no 4 back cameras ? No in-screen finger print sensor ? No buy.

  • The battery actually was great on the V30 last year. Honestly, they don't need to put it to 4000, since 3600 would be just right. Not gonna complain of they do put it at 4000

  • Nothing is confirmed

  • LG is suicidal with this small batteries

  • omfg that ugly ass notch.. i thought those were some unofficial rendered pictures, but then i noticed that ugly ass notch... Yep, it was to good to be true, i thought this phone was perfect, asides from being lg, but now is see.

  • 1µm rear camera sensor? LG, are you kiddin' me? Why do you use front cameras as a rear camera? It is not funny. Your cameras are light years behind Samsung and Huawei...

  • I've had a V20 for almost 2 years now and I couldn't be happier. The V40 looks pretty good, but it NEEDS a bigger battery. If it was removable, there would be an option for 3rd party battery extending cases which I use on my V20 , and I LOVE IT. I haven't worried about how much battery I have left in so long. Either way, 3300mAH won't cut it, especially with 8gb ram and a dislpay that big

  • Why are they still using small sensors for their phones, atleast use bigger sensors for better pictures.

  • I absolutely agree with this. If we can get at MINIMUM 3,800 mah with stereo speakers with the reset of the specs from the V35, I would be super happy with it. Luckily, these are only preliminary specs so we shall await the final specs in the future.

  • Lg well known of its wide angle, third cam is for optical zoom, thats will be nice

  • Until we get solid specs, they aren't gonna update this

  • There shows 2 camera in front in picture but description shows only one.

  • v40 has new 6,2 inch poled 2880*1440px and battery 3500mah, this is real specs

  • Hopefully higher quality cameras, bigger and newer sensors without that yellow tint in shots. My favourite are colors if xz2p but v30 is not close even to s9.

  • Does this phone have 3 cameras??? i think 2 cameras is already enough, hopefully it's a good move for LG

  • If you actually look closer you will see that the "bezel" on top is actually the notch's line where the notch is and the display is turned black there. It has a smaller top bezel on top than the v30/35. Your opinion is great btw, keep it up.

  • no...not again....poor rear camera sensor(only 1µm pixels), small battery capacity with big screen...THIS MUST BE FAKE INFO

  • GOD they are just taking the meaning of "UGLY" to next levels ... it has a notch and a bezel on top ... what r u thinking LG ?????

  • Absolutely vital to have a bigger capacity battery, 4000mAh. My existing LG phone dies with its 3000mAh. Must have external storage, so I can protect photos and must have a decent battery. I fear that 3300mAh will not be enough.

  • Compromise in weight but not compromise in low battery mah, at least 4000MAH required otherwise i will preferred Samsung note9, Hawaii p20 pro or vivo nex

  • Everything is fine, but unfortunately, it will be released in March or April 2019 if it is being announced on November 16th, 2018!

  • pls put 4000mah battery then you can kill note9. lg pls listened! dont be lame to put 3300mah battery!

  • LG is capable of being the best, but it really is a 'face palm' when you see them fit a sealed 3300 mAh battery to power a 6.5" P-OLED screen, it should be at least 4,000 mAh. I hope these 'Unofficially preliminary specifications' are wrong for LG's sake'. One of my criteria is a 100h GSMA battery life rating, all flagship phones should be achieving this. If the battery was user replaceable then it wouldn't matter so much.

  • Too big screen and too low 🔋... No 2160 60fps ... Big phone in hand ... Rubish selfie cam ... Come on lg thats not attractive phone ... Please work on battery, selfie cam, screen size ...

  • Correct 👍

  • I love the fact that they might give us a 6.5" screen, just need that battery to be larger. 8gb ram would be nice also!

  • 2 things that messed up this wanna be a beast phone 1) the notch 2) battery is too small come on lg you gotta be serious than that...

  • None of those specs are confirmed. Its just speculation

  • Not official specifications

  • No 4k 60 fps, battery only 3300mah with screen 6.5 inch, if this specs will be true not cool, not cool at all.

  • This may have some serious specs, a triple camera may be a good idea, but the screen if it is really 6.5 inches, and the battery only 3300 mAh, I will surely skip this one(it will be simply too large, and that size of battery is no enough). Anyway LG should consider to make drop resistant phones again!

  • What on earth is that notch!?
