Meizu Pro 7 - User Reviews

  • Why have a screen on the back if you are going to keep the bezels

  • What screen protection Meizu pro 7 has? My screen broke

  • how good is the Helio P25, and is it worth it to spend about 10$ more (converted) on this than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7?

  • The LED has only white color and it's only for notifications, there is no light when the phone it's charging or fully charged. Regarding battery life, I get around 4-5 hours of SOT and about 24 hours between charges, but I don't play games. Performance is good enough for an everyday device.

  • Does LED light has different colors for different notifications? I want buy this as I like small screen phones, plz tell me about battery life & performance. Thanks in advance.

  • I'm thinking of buying this phone now. Please tell me howz the battery life with normal gaming, calls, music, net activities, app usage etc for 1 day??? plz reply. I am fan of small screen phones so considering this. Thanks.

  • did anyone find how to capture video at 4k ?!?!??!? i don't think this phone supports it... :(

  • Don't buy in india, they don't have any service centre in capital of india. Moreover, their indian website is not in service anymore. Meizu, don't dare to launch any of your product in india unless you have sufficient resources to provide after sales service. India is not dying to get their hands on your meizu stale devices as such you release your products in india after a year or two. Learn from Xiaomi , VIVO and Oppo, they know the real value of Indian Market and consumers.

  • The high edition yes. The standard has decent preformance, you can game quite decently on medium settings with 60 FPS

  • For people who are interested: this smartphone has Notification LED placed on the top left.

  • May I know how's the phone performance? Is it capable for gaming like pubg, mobile legends etc?

  • Externally there is no difference between the Meizu Pro 7 that runs X30 or P25. I had to run Aida64 or CPU-Z to make sure about it. If you're opting for the bigger bro the 7+, you will CERTAINLY get the X30, but in the smaller one it's 50/50. Unfortunately. no. the High edition of the standard sized IS NOT the same as the Plus model. as you're still getting just 4 Gigs of RAM. while in the plus you're getting 6. Hope I helped. ^^;

  • Hi, I have a question about the difference the normal and the high edition. How I can difference between they? only has the x30 SoC with the storage? The high ediiton is not the same with the Plus version? Thanks.

  • Next time, make it with IP68, pls! My phone died after an unwanted shower.:(

  • As owner of the standard sized Pro 7 (my husband held it too. He switched to the Huawei mate 10 pro. His drcision.) I would say it's quite good. I have the high edition, with the deca core SoC. And I can have (atleast in my scenarios) about 5:20h of SoT. In cases I don't use it as frequently and just as a typical peek and return. I find it that it glugs down from 100% to around 35-30ish%. In the evenings.

  • A friend of mine asks, should he get the Meizu pro 7 (High Edition, X30 chipset) Or the Huawei P10? Other options don't appeal to him, too large.

  • How the battery life of the phone?

  • If you have enough money do it. I did it and I haven't any problems for now

  • Thinking of switching this phone with a iPhone 6 32 GB... What do you guys think about that?

  • because it's not an official site "Disclaimer. We can not guarantee that the information on this page is 100% correct. Read more" after specs of the phone for more information

  • Global version supports band 20. This specs ate not listed why?

  • The front facing camera is for video calling

  • Almost nailed it Meizu! Now let's try that again, but without the cameras on the front and move the fingerprint scanner to the back for a bezeless display! With the "Selfie Screen" on the back there's no need for a front facing camera.

  • It's a dual 12MP camera on the back.

  • This is really a unique phone

  • this phone is the best! long battery life 1 and half day 1 hour charging. the secondary screen is other phone has it. you can buy many extras. i already bought a dozen cases coz i just cant help it, this phone is addictive and you can be proud of!

  • Chance of misplacing them is very high

  • A perfect phone. by all means. it's so unique and surprising! one flaw that disturbs me is the memory expansion. oh well. if I will buy it for someone. (my colleague still has a HTC one M7 with a defective camera, and he love to take picutres.) I'll surely recommend grabbing this one! (he doesn't mind memory expansion or not)

  • Already has and it will have.

  • If I may ask, will this phone get any software update?

  • WOW..... talk about an underrated phone, I even never knew this existed!!! Now THIS, is the kind of phone that I need. That secondary display is just so cool!!!

  • Good choice. That is the exact way everyone should buy a phone. I'm sick of the benchmarks that decide in 0,1% which phone is "better", while all the apps that we use are made for the worst phones that are available out there.

  • i've been looking for a unique phone for almost 2 months. so when i saw this phone i bought it right away. i'm not into performance or whatsoever..i just wanted a phone that's unique that can make me happy by just looking at it. i felt the same way when i bought my sony s700 way way back. both are beautiful looking phones!

  • I see. So why don't we just keep the SD cards or USB Flashdisc inside our wallet and take them only when we need them?

  • bro look at huawei P10 cam for example and see yourself that pics are better than iphone 7 plus at all. camera have and other features u know? Lenses,Sensor size, pixel size, stabilisation, depends on software too and so on. And price of this device is still 1/2 iphone 7 plus till now.

  • Hay! More pixels doesn't mean that the quality would be better :) it depends on many factors, just google about this question ) best regards

  • The main feature of the second display is to take selfies using the "better" camera but the front facing camera is a 16mp camera which is better than the back camera which is 12mp.....

  • I want this mobile

  • Where will you release the result of camera and battery test?

  • How can you see the noise in the images when the phone hasn't even been reviewed yet? Let alone become officially available.

  • Hahaha.. For Video calling purpose. My God!!

  • Another reason is this... if you have have 3x 32GB SD and go somewhere without internet connection and you wanna watch movies dont worry... 2nd Card is used for pics and videos in case of dead or lost phone or HDD on PC and 3rd some buissnes document witch only you can see... now imagine your phone dies with all that stuff inside ... honestly i will start thinking about suicide on the buissnes one specially... thats my reason... im sure that many others have another reasons too but all goes on "What if my phone DIE?" you had lg bootloops , samsung s6 dead motherboards some s7 too ... etc... so you cant trust even flagships... i Love lg but i know that i risk

  • the aperture is stil f/2.0. just some elite brand that constanly release camera with better aperture.

  • f/2.0 cam for a high end phone? with a 1/2.9" aperture? I'm seeing a lot of noise in the pics, or very aggressive processing which eats up a lot of fine detail...

  • The battery. Like Mediatek doing with X20/X25 and now with X30 is to move to different Clusters with different architectures. Heavy work? A73. Heavy/normal usage? A53 and while most tasks being done on A53 there are 4 cores. Low usage? Also 4 cores A35 at lower clockspeed. The A35 are new in their decacore setup, X20/25 used 8xA53. A35 are way more battery friendly than A73 and more battery friendly than A53

  • Good innovation.. Trust me Apple will copy from you..

  • Apart from missing memory slot and low battery phone looks good.

  • funny thing is that you can use secondary screen as flash light for camera! :D seriously what would be benefit of having 3 cluster for CPU with different architecture and clock speed?

  • coz front camera will always be better for gaminh, augmented reality, video calling ,video calling while txtng sum1 else

  • Samsung Continuum? Is that you?

  • unless you think video call using 2" oled screen is sufficient, then secondary camera might come in handy.

  • When there is a secondary screen and u can take selfies With that then why there is a secondary camera.

  • There is no dream there has been for almost two years a phone with front and back screen it’s called Yotaphone 2

  • PowerVR is life

  • i like the design of it

  • Why do you need in the first place a secondary screem on back? I know selfies are now trending so they invented front cam but I just dont know why?

  • Absolutely

  • the reason is simple. expandable memory allows people to store the data in the memory card. if the phone dies. it's easy. you're pulling off the card and insert it into your new phone. VOILA! EVERYTHING is back on track! I myself don't mind if there's expandability or not. as long there's enough room. (64 GB and up is the good spot for me)

  • Don’t understand why some peoples still complaining about expandable storage. Or maybe they are have so many big business data or else that so important and they have to keep it with them everywhere they go.

  • actually id have to clarify you its too slim up the devices and ofcourse its too earn more by selling air pods first idea came with a cruel second idea

  • Donald Trump should ban iPhone for monopoly the smartphone market for years.

  • Rumor has it, Apple has had issues with headphone jack outlet electrical shortages, causing them to remove jacks on 2016 models. Here we are in 2017, and companies are removing headphones jacks left and right as though it's the right thing to do/ an en vogue trend, when (add lol) really Apple apparently was has having quality control issues. Sad state of affairs fellow consumers, sad state of affairs.

  • We shall see.

  • $420 for Mediatek Helio P25? Honor 9, Xiaomi Mi 6, or Galaxy S7 could be had by spending just a tiny bit more. Can we all please agree to be wise shoppers?

  • Video Call?

  • Two months ago I dreamt I saw a great phone that has both front and back with full screen and I asked what phone is this in the dream and I was answered "Huawei Mate 10" I said wow!!! I woke up to the realisation that it was just a dream. Now I see innovation of small screen on the back. Is it for only pictures date and time?

  • For the price it is asking, isn't it good to have 3 cameras? No one wants to selfie using tiny screen tho you can see the result later on the main screen but yes their purpose doing such "innovation" is still questionable :/

  • :/

  • Again, no expandable storage. Stop following this apple trend. Its lame seriously. You are an upcoming company with cheaper price range, put the basic stuff in as priority while adding up the innovation. Don't understand why companies remove things like expandable storage and headphone jack. You're looking for trouble.

  • Can see your opponent's detail during a video call.. lol

  • Nope... pro 7 is 3380 RMB

  • top fail 2017? why they put selfie camera when we got screen on back?! :D

  • The rumored size is about 1.9".

  • i will take MTK any day because the device with MTK basically cheaper.

  • There's never been a good MTK chipset. I'll pass that unless it's on par with SD830

  • nothing wrong with MTK

  • Mediatek - check - pass No SD card slot - check - pass I'll pass, next please

  • Meizu Pro 7 is said to use a secondary screen on the back, so what size will it be?

  • This new Helio X30 seems pretty interesting, we get the tri-cluster but on 10 nm. -ARM Cortex-A73 @ 2.5GHz, up to 2.8GHz -ARM Cortex-A53 @ 2.2GHz, up to 2.3 GHz -ARM Cortex-A35 @ 1.9GHz, up to 2.0 GHz Plus, for GPU they've put in the same unit as iPhone 7, the PowerVR 7XT.

  • What? Meizu has been topping value for price while providing Flagship lvl phones on the mx series, oh and whats that? Super mcharge goes 0 -100% in 18:55 min? Samsung s8 in 35 min ip7 in 45 min? Yea u go pay double for a worse product just because its branded better.

  • MEIZU low end market phones, there it will remain as many other chinese OEM's of entry & midrange class handsets have moved to flagship level territories.

  • Announcement the whole specs without the SoC it's very lame

  • What's the problem?

  • i see

  • battery? and 424 ppi problem

  • Sony Zeus have patent???

  • Card slot No Buy No

  • They can't, edge screen is not patented. It's neither that innovative to begin with.

  • Samsung sue them, you can compensate fail note 7

  • It's rumored to use the Helio X30 or Kirin 960, I think.

  • it's gonna be exynos again ?

  • so someone actually thinks that you need all those leds?

  • haha true ... but Ten Led is new feature

  • Lol.. It looks as if iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7 Edge had a child.

  • The design looks like mixed up from other phones. Front S7 Edge and iPhone 7, back iPhone 7 and Nexus 6...

  • Dont these companies have ideas of their own? I mean, look at that!

  • no sd!!!??? nexttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wish I would know more about this unknown brand to me!!But specifications implicitly telling me: I don't like NO,S in any brands!!!Factwriting!Justice Rights....

  • It has kirin 960 that Huawei use in their mate 9

  • Please no more mediatek. It has bad battery consumption. Use exynos pls.

  • Will it have Snapdragon 820, or what? With 6 GB of ram that would be my guess, or a high-end mediatek (hope not).
