if u want to play games in micromax q75, u have to not press alt while playin", just hit "Abc" button on keypad 5 times and u need not have to press alt button.

all games may not support like 3D games, but satisfactory. when u play game u have to use alt + 2,4,5,6,8 etc in some games. download games for q75, just type 320x240 java games on google, u can find many sites, south wap is one of them. don't install game above 1mb, it doesn't support.

I havebeen use q75 two year, one browser work on it very well with resuming downloads, java games like, hunting mania1&2, asphalt 3, jurasic park, and many other games play well, battery back up is very good, downloading speed about 11-17 kbps, youtube also play well, camera is not so good, the main problem is that_ the track ball jammed soon for a regular user, solve is in your hand- don't go to the shop, just open the screws and sims and remove the trackball set and clean it ,then fix, it will work well.

By march 2012 itself it get fault by showing headphone symbol.so i given for service throu universal.after few days mobile reach my hands. Next time by september 2012 got problem on trackball. This time also given thro universal.after 15 days universal person informed me the mobile was serviced in outside so we should not able to service.but iam not serviced outside. So i taken my mob and seen the condition it is to worst. And trackball board changed by service center. So i got a chance about knowing the person. So strictly avoid purchase the micromax product.

you are wrong. youtube runs. you have to adjust the settings in video player. Go to video player. then in option go to Network profile. choose your network profile and you will find that youtube videos are streaming.

only dis-advantages of this handset are... 1)chinese user interface (menu) 2)you canoot zoom image in file-manager you have to go to image viewer 3)there is no option to mark messages for various purposes if you have to delete msgs then "delete all" is the only option, otherwise delte them "one by one" 4)track ball is some-what faulty, dont use the track-ball with oily-greasy aur wet hands if your track-ball stops working or get jammed then keep pressing the ball with a dry-cloth and move in all direction..

I have used this mobile for about 1.5 yr now. Good and robust phone, features are good, that allured me to buy it. One drawback, thought of putting it here before you decide to buy this point might help. There are no spares, bodies or Display Screen available for Q75 atleast. Talking out of experience. I bought it in November 2010, my front support glass broke, I went to service center they said the spare is not available and will contact me once they have, I never got a call from them. Tried to safely use it, but unfortunately now my Display is damaged, contacted every Service center in Noida, Ghaziabad and Delhi. No one has Body, Glass or Display for replacement. Overall the phone is good and I am happy with it, unless you are looking for long lasting phone try something else, if you are looking for Use and Throw, this is the best phone to use.

I'd like to put forward a few lines regarding the handset Q75 I bought from Flipkart (India): Built Quality: This hadset has awesome built-quality, just like any premium handset of a premium brand. The Casing has metal into it which makes the handset a bit heavy but the sam makes it more prtected too. The keypad is wonderful. Keys are organised in such a way that you'll find it hard to get two keys pressed together. The keypad response is tactile and does not miss any input. Looks: Due to superb built-quality, the phone looks pricier and elegant. The combination of metallic brown and chocolate colour in the back and metallic brown and carbon-black in the front makes the lifts the phone's looks to an elegant executive class. The screen is good when seen from the front but as it is common with TN panels, it has very low viewing angle. Hardware: The handset boasts MTK 6235 chip set (with ARM9 208MHz CPU) which offers amazing speed with smooth browsing through menus and excellent Wi-Fi connectivity [read more on this chipset here: ]. Whatever you do, the handset never appears sluggish. This is really crazy with this handset with such a price tag! It has a whooping 87.7MB usable phone memory which I have never seen in any handset. Even in my Nokia 5235 has 82MB phone memory out of which, about 70MB is usable. Battery: It was really hard to believe that this handsets 1200mAh battery will stand for 2 days! The trackball navigation may seem to be fiddly for newbies but it would be very useful once you get used to it. For the elderly and people with less precision, the sensitivity of the track-ball can be varied on a scale of 1-5 for ease of access. Audio Playback: Very loud ringtone with great tonal quality. The Music player refreshes automatically to generate playlist. Audio playback quality is very good in both built-in speakers and headphones provided. Video Playback: Smooth playback for videos of qVGA/MP4 and qCIF/3GP quality. Credit goes to the hardware again. The play back interface is a bit clumsy and which buttons work for what is not mentioned in the manual even! Pls remember that I and O work as + & - for volume and * works for switchinf to and from the Full-Screen mode while playing Audio/Video. Camera: Perhaps the weakest part of this handset is its camera. Pls don't expect carl-Zeiss quality or anything nearby but for occassional shots, its ok to have this set handy for casual photography. Internet and youtube if configured properly on this phone works like a charm. i have had people with the nokia music express series, the one with the touch screen looking enviously at my phone while streaming videos on youtube. for Rs.3300/- its a steal, the only real draw back i saw was the keypad illuminated which i have given a tip to get it fixed much before in this review. also for some guys whose opera which is pre installed does not work, i suggest that you format the internal memory of the phone (not to worry about loosing the applications installed while you purchased the phone). and then try opera, it works. i anyways am not on any other social networks so i dont care much of them...

been using the phone for few days... the phone is good, been able to connect to wifi, facebook, nimbuzz all the settings work perfectly, camera is good( but not awsome). i still dont know why other users are complaining abt the phone. yes it takes some small work to configure the phone correctly. the manufacturer will not mass produce a commercial electronics device without testing it. overall good phone but needs the patience of any user.

Micromax Q75 is a really bad phone.This phone is not a SmartPhone and not 3G enabled. So goodbye to all your funky fascinating apps! It looks very good until you switch it on. It's steel body is sleek. But the moment you switch it on, it has a very loud welcome tone something similar to those you find in Chinese mobiles. The display is of a very bad quality. It does not support any themes other than the one pre-installed in it. The speakers are very loud even at its lowest volume. The alerts and ringtones are all from Chinese phones. Unlike LG phones, it does not allow you the freedom to customise your profiles. You cannot have every song or track as your ringtone. The profile settings only allow 5 tracks to be on the profile options. You cannot have a vibration for the ring tone and a beep for the message tone at the same time. Its battery back up last only 24 hours. So you really want to keep a profile that is not very loud to save battery back-up. The camera is 3.2MP without flash and without zoom. The zoom is available only on the 320*240 image size. The camera settings are not too many and are mostly like those from some ancient camera. The phone memory is 87.7MB. And it supports a memory card upto 8GB. The one merit would be that the files exchanged go directly to the destination folder,i.e., memory card or the phone memory, which can be decided in the bluetooth settings. The caller picture is very humiliating!! Typical of a Chinese phone!! The merits of the phone would beits pre-installed Opera Mini Browser, but the demerit is that it only allows HTML view and no video buffering. If you switch to WAP browser, it takes forever to do that. The other applications like Snaptu, Nimbuzz, Facebook, and ZengaMail are for namesake. Snaptu has many links but not all of them work. Nimbuzz is there only for the heck of it. It does not work. Zengamail will not work once you update your email address. It also does not allow you to multi-task. For exaple, you cannot do anything at all if you are sending files via bluetooth. You cannot play songs while browing on Java applications. You cannot play games while listening to music. You cannot use the camera and play songs at the same time. The dual sim feature is also really bad. Obviously when one sim is engaged, the other will obviously be on waiting. The only good feature about the phone would be its trackball which allows you quick navigation through the phone. But the trackball stops working if there is too much moisture or oil on it. For instance if you have an oily skin type, there'd be a lot of moisture on the trackball and it will not work efficiently. I found a way to not find myself in service centres to have the trackball changed constantly, which costs Rs. 300 by the way, and that is by rubbing some dust or powder on the trackball. It increases the friction and the trackball is as good as new. You can keep doing this to save yourself a good ordeal of running around Micromax's shitty service centres. The phone is also ver heavy and it has a rubber cover that comes with the handset. The rubber case is ribbed and allows you so much friction that it makes it practically difficult to fit the phone your pockets, especially if you are wearing a pair of fitting jeans. Also the inbox has a very small memory so if you have about 100 messages, you'll have to start deleting them because the phone does not receive more messages than a certain limit. So basically, Micromax Q75 and the entire Micromax range as a whole sucks.

Dear all,Its not a bad phone as i am using it since 5th Nov�2010. It never hanged , once there was a problem in the track ball and the same was replaced at a cost of Rs.300 thro a dealer in Chennai itself. Superb video plays,music quality is awesome can beat any higher end phones and wifi works superb and also plays youtube what more u can expect from a handset that will cost u very less when compared to the phones having these features for more money. If you go for Nokia for the same features you will have to shell out for minimum Rs.10K for which 2 nos of Q75 can be purchased for every three years. Better have good luck.

to get the issue resolved for the low light on the keypad, you need to open the phone and check the black cover stickers over the LED. it should be removed and also one side of the Trackpad would be covering the LED instead of lying flat on the board, you need to cut that and take care of that issue, I have and its lite is but clear and crisp across all areas of the keypad.

Its not what kinda convertor that you get the videos converted on, its the resolution. the resolution should be set to the one specified in the above specs. and you would be able to see proper videos.

Battery backup is too worst. As specified above in specifications talktime is of jst about 3-4 hrs and standby is not more than 100 hrs. track ball is really getting me trouble. I took phone just 6 months back.

Hi, My post is for those who are forwarding to buy Micromax. i am using Micromax Q75 from 16 Jan 2011. it was goon enough for first 4 to 4 months then first problem - track ball starts non functional in particular down direction. i am not able to use many function due to this defect. 2nd problem - QWERTY key pad some button become non functional. 3 rd problem - handset mic now become non functional from last some days. now i am using headset for any call so my voice can go to next person. 4th problem - now if i remove headphone - it will be in headset mode. I have to switched it off to come out of that. So my conclusion is � these products are not reliable.

I have been using this phone for about 3 months now and I have found it to be a great phone with great battery life, responsive trackball and keypad, good sound quality, enough features and an elegant look. The only drawback I found is that there is no built-in pdf or doc viewer, only a text reader is provided. Overall, great value for money!

Dear all, I bought micromax Q75 on aug 1st 2011. its features adn price attracted me. But this is not that much worth as thought. within weeks I had a software problem of auto headset mode on. After removal of earphones also still it shows earphones connected. One more worse thing is about its service centers. Dnt knw what on earth had made micromax company to employee such service centre guys. Adding to the phone problems their servicing is also such poor. Anyway the simple thing is that you can go for it unless untill u feel u r lucky and ur phone will not trouble u.

Hi frend, just copy the phone suite on ur pc (for XP) n if u r usin vista then install drivers given in suite. >Then open phonesuite folder n open phonesuite application. >Here u can see options like Phonebook, Massages, Melody,Setting,MMS etc. click on settings. >here u'll find options like General, Dial up, Create connection etc >select General, before connecting ur fone, it is written "Disconnected" on bottom right corner of suite. Nw connect ur fone n fone will shoe options like mass storage, web cam, COM port. select COM port. >nw it wil show "connected" on bottom right corner of suite.(if not shown then click on COM port option in General setting window in change the port. i.e. if it is showing COM 3 initially, change it to other option shown. nw it will show "connected" >Now go to create connection option, here u can see operators list.i.e.Airtel, Vodafone etc. choose ur operator n click on create. Aftr few sec. it wil show window sayin connection created sucessfully. >nw go to Dial up option, here u can see created connection. click on Dial up option n aftr few sec. the active connection will b shown in bottom side table. now u can brouse web usin this connection. Note- it is difficult to select SIM in dial up option, by default SIM 1 will b there. so my advice is that u shud use SIM 1 slot in ur fone for brousin wit PC. Best of Luck...!!

I personally suggest all of u not to go for for micromax Q75 as it has a very low battery backup less than a day. It produces lot of heat while taking and the camera clarity is very poor. Inbuilt application Nimbuzz not working etc. I am going to return the phone which is purchased last week.

hey ,save the internet settings on ur phone than switch off ur phone for 2 to 5 minutes. then switch on . go to wap in connectivity. select the sim . then in profiles choose the recent setting. for example: tata docomo internet for tata docomo, mobile office for airtel, aircel gprs for aircel, idea gprs for idea. activate the profile. then goto input address and type the address and u wll soon be connected. same problem i also had!

Do not go for micromax it has a very low battery backup less than a day. It produces lot of heat while taking, maybe radiation, and it do not support all features, like net banking. It is typical to use and the volume of the phone we cannot adjust even at level 1 the sound is too high. With u r headphones on also u hear the sound outside. Never go for Micromax they have a very poor customer service outlets.

Very nice phone. total value for money and best in this range. Internet browsing is fast, internal memoory of 90mb, trackball quite good and very responsive. The only drawback which i felt is that the backlight of the keypad is very dim.

Hi, I bought Micro max Q75 model 6 months before. Now I am facing battery backup issue. Even though I am not using FM Radio and audio player the batter back up not support for more than one day. But the vendor inform battery support for more than 3 days. Another issue is when i speak more than 5 minutes, the mobile produce a heat. It is very hot when speak more than 5 mins. And also volume sound not in a position to reduce at very low sound. When somebody ringing the sound is very loud when we set the sound in very low settings also. Th ease are the issue i faced.

SAR value of this phone is 1.85 which is way above than maximum value..You will get Brain Cancer if you talk on this mobile daily for more time..It's 3.2 MP is the worst that I've ever seen in any mobile in this world..It just gives you a photo of big size,but because that the screen's quality is damn poor..When you transfer your photos to computer,you would see worst photo quality..the worst indeed..

The phone is good in terms of price and sound quality. What lacks is the platform. The software platform 'Java' runs dead slow while working with the applications like facebook and for some reason, these applications don't read the track ball response too well. The action takes place after 5-10 seconds of scrolling the ball. The wifi somehow does not connect or reads the network well. The only few good things about the phone are the looks, price and loudspeaker quality. The software and response is way too bad. Would not recommend until the company decides to work on these issues.

And 3.5mm jack is also not working apprpriately..the cell phone notifies that earphone is plugged in even if it is not and then the voice of the caller could not be heard... the company shoud take specific actions as soon as possible...

I have had the micromax for quite sometime, usability is quite good, a lot of people have said a lot of things in the comment section, however I have overcome these problems, like streaming works fine in my phone. camera is good. battery life is 2 days give or take...the best part is when i fixed the issue with the keypad lite. I opened the phone of course. and under the Home and A there are two bright LED's which have unconventional covers or stickers which i had to replace with a white paper covered with a cloth tape or white scotch tape and viola the whole keypad was illuminated...cheers guys just wanted to make sure that it would help someone....

Hi All, This is my kind advice for all of you is not to buy any micromax products. Initially its seems like a lost cost mobile. I bet you will suffer a lot just because u bought micro max. Well am using micromax q75 for the past 6 months. You cannot use 2 applications at same time. for example you cannot listen to songs at same time you cannot view the photos. Micromax cheats you with Youtube videos, no one can play youtube videos. Opera mini browser is very old version, u cannot upgrade it. You will have frequent problem with software, even if you plugged ur headphone out, the software wont change headset mode to outdoor mode. And you cannot hear anything unless and otherwise u insert the headset again. And there is no customer care support, they wont respond you properly. Before buying this phone just open your eyes and read the forums about micromax customer care service and then you decide your fate.

i am using micromax q75 mobile. this phone is awsome & wi-fi in this phone works very fine but i have problem with the wap browser. we have local network internet for authentication. and the site has maximum code in javascript for user authentication. but the default wap browser does not support javascript & opera mini is based on client server model so this can not logon to local website. so please anybody tell me about full fledge browser which is compatible with micromax q75. thanks

first download the jar file operamini or nibuzz in pc then right click on it and openwith winrar then click on then we can see META-INF folder click on this then we can see afile named MAINFEST.MF open this in word and edit the MIDlet-Name: to any other name..for example if the name is opera mini..change it to any other name..like browser then.save the file.then put the edited jar file to your phone now you get the new version of opera or nimbuz working in q75

Nikita. I think you should first explore the cell phone and then ask your queries! The sim card has less memory but if you have a memory card, it can support many messages! It can save 1000 messages.

buddy the phone supports dual sim but no flash with camera, nor the flash light...moreover the camera quality is very poor...one expects brilliance with a 3.2 MP camera in a phone...but all expectations go flat after buying this phone...personal suggestion-- if your budget is limited, go for samsung Chat duos, else look out for some other/better option...

on connecting the USB,theres the option of "WEBCAM" available. i.e. the rear camera doubles up as pretty 'decent' and 'okay enough' webcam .... thats a good one still so far which i liked :P

to update snaptu and other in bulit software just do the following steps 1.We download the .jar 2. Right click -> Open with: WinRar 3. There we see the "META-INF" folder. Double click on it 4. Drag and drop the .MF file to our hard drive. Don't close the Winrar window 5. Open the .MF with a word editor etc Wordpad 6. Replace "opera" or "ebuddy" to something else wherever this exists in the .MF 7. Save 8. Drag and drop the new .MF back to the winrar window That's it, simple and easy

You can connect internet to your laptop or PC using this mobile , they give the micromax pc suite just install that and connect ur cable to ur laptop or pc then open the pcsuite click setting then click the create connection select ur operators click create now ur connection was created now go to dail up and click dail now ur pc was connect to ur mobile network, if ur not able to connect go to general tab change the com port try another time dailup 2. u can also send msg through ur pc or laptop using this pc suite software 3.when u talking to somebody u can enable background sound something like ur in party or traffic sound 4.default facebook app not working u can use snaptu or using opera u can connect facebook, if you have wifi you can also watch movie from youtube 5.you can create playlist in music player

its cost effective. to use the camera, press space when in home screen and select camera from sub menu. I have not heard of any dual sim fones supporting EDGE except Q75.

This phone is very good and serving very well for me. May be you have not configured it well. 1. In settings change the sensivity of trackball. 2. While playing video press * to change in full screen and scroll track to right and left to ff and rewind. 3. Java mobile obviously will support only .jar and .jad files, check for those in Mobile9/getjar.com, 4. bluetooth is working very good, only problem with you is u don't know how to set a mobile for first use. 5. after activating internet in mobile, go to java settings and also check sim and internet account to access internet in java. 6. Main problem is as micromax is providing low cost mobiles, peoples general perception is it should be a bad mobile.

I swapped my Nokia 5250 for the Qmobile Q7 which is the local version of the Q75 and I am much more satisfied. Using the lower end touch phones leaves a lot to be desired including sound, user interface and texting. Altough the Facebook widgets do not work the GPRS and WLAN function perfectly. The speaker is superb so much that you dont need your earphones.

Yes we can create playlists and it also has search thru option like typing an initial alphabet to find the song... Though the songs are needed to be in the my music folder, otherwise it doesnt show in the list... Also the tag recognition seems to be old version.

dude yes it supports dual sim and i should say its very good. with regard to camera...forget about flash, the pic is not good at all. so if you are planning to buy this cell hoping to use for clicking purposes, then this cell is not the right one. with recording and stuffs i havent tried out yet. i bought this cell for its dual sim, its memory expandable capacity, and its great music quality, also most important one battery back up..it last me for 3 days.even before buying i knew this cell's camera is not good but that is not an issue for me as i wanna buy digital camera so camera issue did not deter me.

I have a vodafone nd reliance sim card nd internet is super fast with reliance.. phone runnin on 16gb card nd it runs smoothly.. nimbuzz nd facebook working fine.. opera mini is doin the best job of browsing.. battery back one and half days even after xtensiv usage of internet..Trackball no issue's. normally the cheap mobiles dont allow us to create playlists from the songs we have on the memory card. instead all the songs should be in the my music folder . then only it will play. put the songs in different folder then the audio player will not play. go to the file manager and select a song from a particular folder. that song only that particular song will play. then the player will not play the next song. thus each time we have to select a song from the list and select the play button to hear the song. in valuable sets(nokia N73 etc) we can create playlists of our choice. and it will play.these are assumptions.since you are using this phone you can check and guide us in this matter. thanks

Hi, My name is Ritesh, I'm from Mumbai and I have been using this phone since past 6 months. I will try to write down about my experience and pros and cons of this phone I have known. I wouldn't have gone in to buy Micromax as I was using Nokia N82 for past 2 years. And from being a Nokia user there is noway you can buy Micromax. But I was drawn to this handset because of it's features and low rate. I bought it for Rs4850/-. It gives a very chinese made feeling when you use it for the 1st time. And it's functions are a bit chinese like. Messaging: Text and MMS sending recieving is perfect like any other. It stores about 500sms per sim. It can send an sms to max 20 ppl at a time. Camera: It has a 3.2MP camera but I have seen VGA cameras givin better quality images. Video recording is very poor and sound recorded during this is hardly audible. FM: It has a stereo FM and sounds loud and good. Earphones are very good too. Phonebook: It stores about 1000 entries and could have been a little better at operation. Connectivity: Bluetooth & WiFi both are nice and can be operated nicely as well. Games: Poor games for the current times. And can't find any new compatible games for the same as well. Dual Sim: It's an excellent function and absolute must have in today's times when your one provider is cheap at calls and other at sms. You can use both your sims in one phone. Amazing. sms recieved from one sim can be sent with the others and you can use one phone directory for both sims. Only problem is one sim is switched off when you are on call with the other. Other general: It has an inbuilt facebook but it's not good. Facebook works better when you access it from the inbuilt operamini. Operamini, Nimbuzz and snaptu are good in Java. GPRS and WAP are good. Phone can be connected with computer and you can use it as internet modem with GPRS. For Charging and USB connection, there is only one port. Trackball function is good. It makes it a bit faster to operate. Battery is good. even with 2 sims operating, it lasts 2 days or more. Scheduled switch off/on function is awesome, save a lot of battery too. You can't ask more at Rs 4K in current times. It's a cheap phone. And it looks a bit cheap too. It's not a rough tough phone. It's body is very thin and will be damaged if falls. well Dev, i really don't know whether it has really come down to 3800 but i got it by 4180 from TIMTARA online shopping. the real price was 4480 but i used my free coupon worth 300 for registering in their shopping! so it was free shipping too and i paid cash on delivery! well i am glad that my experience with q75 helped you to decide what step you can take! well i will tell you to give a nice thought before going for it coz i dont want you to blame if it comes out to be unsatisfying...lol! but as for me, i really rocking with that phone!its a very good qwerty phone in that price!

the mobile is a good one (till now). for a better picture clarity, get into camera settings and change it there to the max one. opera 4.2 pre installed in the cell phone does not work. install opera 3, works great. get the .jar files to install it on your mobile. trackball works great. available at Thane (maharashtra) for Rs.3800/- accessories are cell phone, battery, data cable, charge. user manual/guide and also a silicon back cover (which looks real bad)i feel they should have included a pouch like supplied with the Lava B8. good features though.

Dev here is what i will tell you. i am using this phone and there are some pros and cons! pros: dual sim, wi-fi facility is very good, music and sound quality is very good, good battery back up, looks is very stylish, track ball makes it very friendly in operating. The cons: the sound is very loud so much so that a person near by you can hear what you are talking.camera is not good as 3.2 megapix should be giving. My advice for you is, if you are willing to compromise on the camera and the extra loudness of sound while communicating through the phone, then this phone is worth going for. i opted this phone due to its looks, dual sim facility, its expandable memory space. The music sound is very good and being a music freak i really like the cell. so far i haven't experience any problem with this cell. so if you have any more question, let me know.

Hi, For using Facebook on this phone the best thing to do is to download bolt browser and then use FB on it,if it gives u error try to login on FB on computer and then login on the phone it would work as i did the same and it worked for me.Also the bolt browser is faster than Opera Mini.

This phone is the worst buy. 1.If you use your earphones, the headset profile does not shift back to general. 2. Webcam does not work 3. MMS Messages do not open (says "downloading" and thats it) 4. Camera quality is very bad(worse than a VGA) 5. Ring tone volume is really loud and cant be changed(even if set at minimum) The only 2 good features are, the dual sim and the really LOUD speaker when music is played

Even I had the same problem, as i done some R&D i got a solution.. this may helps you... Go to Settings--> Click Restore factory settings--> Add default password 0000--> Say OK(It will restart your mobile) after restarting--> "New time zone has been detected. Do you want to change the time?"--> Say YES. your problem will be solved!!

the major defect of the device is the keypad light. you can not see the keypad number in darkness.that is why you will not find any video clip in youtube. i am surprised how can such quality phone be launched in market. you will never find any mobile such quality at the price below 2,000.00. this is good and stylish phone but keypad light is lack of beauty of this phone.

hey if u wona set its ringing volume then follow the steps below: 1. go to menu 2. select settings 3. select user profile 4. select "General" 5. select "Customize" 6. select volume 7. select ringtone... and set it as per ur need 8. go back and activate this profile... ur problem is solved...:) enjoy

I bought this phone on Nov 3rd 2010. Network reachability is one of the major drawbacks of this phone. If I insert the same sim in sme other phone its netwrk is dam in other phones. So I personally suggest not to buy this phone. Latest Andriod A60 seems to be a better choice than Q75. I have even head that Micromax has stopped producing Q75 as well.

I'll suggest Samsung chat 322 instead of Micromax Q75, Samsung chat 322 is available at same price Rs. 4500 /- I bought Q75 1.5 month before but now it is occuring profile, trackball, vibtrating problems. And Service centre (Chembur) is not at all helpfull. Instead of repairing my phone they have created new problem called SOFTWARE Problem in my mobile. And now they are saying that it will take 45 days to solve the issue. I have given Q75 at service centre on 5th Jan, 2011. still waiting...! So better go with SAMSUNG 322

You CAN use youtube, you just need to do this, 1>Go to your video player. (Multimedia) 2>Select network profile. 3>Change it to WLAN if you're using Wi-Fi or GPRS if you're using GPRS. 4> Enjoy! :D

beware of poor after sales service taht micromax provides. service is in the hands of road siders who r hardly interested in working. i am in gurgaon and have struggled to get any support for my Q7 from their so called authorised service center. after few months of partial use, this handset stopped catching signals. after long wait i was told prblm is with the IC which can not be repaired locally and same has to be sent to "company" which will take 20-25 days to repair. better to put ur money on standard products like nokia samsung LG or equivalent.

text reader supports only .txt files..that is notepad files... so any file or text u want to read...lets say word or pdf....convert that into a notepad file or copy paste into a notepad and save and the text reader works just perfect..

Hi All, I have this phone for 2+ weeks and very happy with the features and performance. Initially struggled to configure WiFi for streaming as I got a connect error. Later found it in a different website by another user. It worked great and quoting the same to benefit others: WiFi + Streaming In menu select -> multimedia-video player -> Options-> Network profiles -> Select your profile as (WiFi). Then go to your browser and select network profiles and select profile mode as "User Specific" Select your SIM (Select any one for WiFi) through which you need to connect and your respective network i.e. your WiFi and then click Ok. Then check in Youtube and streaming works! You can do the same under Applications->Java->Java Settings to configure for WiFi through the Java applications as well. After looking for different Dual SIMs I am very happy about Q75 after the purchase...

I brought a Micromax Q75 last month for 5k bucks.The main problem i personally experienced are 1) Youtube is not working. 2) Nimbuzz hangs frequently. 3) Double input of data required for the keyboard while chatting or typing on address bar.4) Battery backup is low while using WIFI. rest of the things are working fine.

comments about micromax Q75: 1) camera not good though it has 3.2 MP 2) could not use skype. if any colution please advice 3) while chating it hangs, so have to terminate and again login. this happens frequently. if any solution is there please advice 4) dnt know how to use Wifi. please advice overall not satisfied with Q75 performance and also i dont recommend

Go to connectivity - select Wi fi - if wirless net work available around you it will ask you to connect. Add the wireless name that you have then activate.I mean there must be a name for your connection. that's all. In my opinion, this mobile worths the price. In this cost can you think of browsing and chating? Dual sim facility also there. I can promise you that it is user friendly than nokia mobiles.

ya this phone is not having more features but think once guys it is 4500k price how much ur especting for this.each phone having some drabacks no phone in the world without drabacks.Nibuss is not working in this phone but u can install Ebuddy insted of that its work good with the Qwatery Keypad(each and every key will work) in this. then Opera mini is not having direct option to type in the Http:// box insted of that u can install UC WEB browser 7.4 version u can directly enter the website name it can support. then themes u cannot chage the themes in this handset its draback of this one.then it can play only 3gb format files only it can paly MP4 but u cannot see the video u can listen only the audio.its not a 3G phone but it having EDGE u can browse superb with this EDGE.actully the speed depends on the network 70% and mobile 30% what i mean it depends on network provider how much speed providing not fully depends on Phone. Then camera u have to change the settings then u can use it as 3.2MP not thatmuch upto the mark u can. then music the music player cannot identity anywher mp3 format files only it can search My Music Folder only. u can create a folder in memory name as MY Music then copy the folders inside in subfolders also u can. then u need to select music plyer settings as memory card then Refresh thats it.

please do not buy this phone becouse in this phone there is so many problems like that: 1.it suports only 3gp video files. 2.this mobile phone does not give the feture to add music in music player if you have to play music you have to copy all music files to my music folder else there is no solution. 3.you can not use your own theam in this phone. 4.sometimes it's track ball stop working. 5.application given with this phone are not developed for this phone like this phone gives in bilt opra mini braowser but when you type something it doesnot work. 6.it is not having some extra tools like stopwatch. 7.some of the feture are looks like chiness mobile feture like it's viedo player. in my opinen in this price it is very bad phone . i am telling all these things becouse i had buyed this phone and it upset me. it wants it does not happen with you. thankyou.

Hi every one, I think there need to be a standardisation with respect to dual SIM capablity. Let me give all of you my understanding, any commnets are welcome. 1.Dual SIM Single Active. 2.Dual SIM Dual-Standby but Single-Active. 3.Dual SIM Dual Active. In the first type you can keep two SIMs inside phone. To change you need to switch off and turn on the device. One SIM will only be 'on' other is as good as being outside of the device. In second type both will be on standby, whichever SIM gets called first, gets connected but the other one goes out for the duration of that call. Callers to the second SIM may hear a message that you are out of coverage area/switched off but calls to the active SIM will be shown according to your call waiting options.But no need manually switch between the SIMs. most device in the market are of this type. In the third type even if you are talking on one SIM, call and SMSes to the other SIM are handled.Second call to the other SIM will be shown with options to put on hold first call, disconnect or reject etc. This type is the most complex and expensive, in fact far more complex than a phone with same features but single SIM. It is essentially two phones merged into one.It needs two transcievers with in the same circuit board and a powerful battery.

Hi frends if you want to download applications use defalut phone browser in this handset. if you use opera mini 4.2 and some other browsers. the Handset will hang and rotating one symbol while downloading through opera mini and some others browsers. so the solution is use defalut browse that is globe symbol one.then wap then input address there u have to give website name through ther u can download. then one thing i want to tell the mobile websites wont support this mobile it shows unknown phone the website it self it cannot find. so this mobile support only JAVA and J2ME applications so first download in PC. then through data cable u can save into ur mobile only jarfiles like Ebuddy.jar and install....

Hi frends last time i posted JGC-talk info now i installed Ebuddy chat application its superb working with the MMQ75. u know that Nimbuss is not working properly in this Handset.previously i posted info regarding JGC-talk chat application.it is working fine but Ebuddy is superb than JGC-talk.then i installed OPERA mini 5.2 version in this HandSet its superb working with this one.if i found new applications for this soon i will post the regarding info...if u have any issue with installing send me mail i have given alredy my mail ID in previous posts..
