Ive had the zforce for almost 2 years. It is by far the best phone Ive owned. Indestructible, very functional, and motorola has been super helpful whenever Ive had issues. The battery has been just fine. My daughter is on her third i phone to my one Zforce. Thanks motorola for making a product built to last.

Hi, I used to have a problem like this. Then I found that after I kept my phone in my pocket, it would pick up pocket fuzz which would get packed in the charging port, which prevented the plug from being inserted all the way. After taking a toothpick and digging out the crud, it worked just fine.

I have a problem with my screen. It goes off '' Black '' for some time and later comes back on, whiles the phone is working, the touch is working perfectly without a fault. I only have a problem with the screen going black and coming back on again. And when I try to use the camera it flitches and goes white and later takes me to the camera as if nothing happened. Could this be a flex cable problem or something else? I would appreciate some help, thank you

On my second one, only because of insurance. Battery life dwindled in a short time, had it replaced, worked great untill getting dropped. The charging port is the joke here. After a short time don't expect the charging cable to stay in the port. At night I'd plug it in and have to lay it on a table totally undisturbed to charge.

I've had this phone for about a year and a half and I'd say the most disappointing thing about it is the battery life. For the first 6 months I'd say, the battery life was amazing and definitely lived up to what Motorola said it'd do. But then it just got progressively worse. Just a couple days ago, I was at work and my phone was at 40%. I did NOTHING with it, and I barely got any notifications at all. After like an hour and a half, I check my phone and it's at 7%. I've also been having issues where I just need to constantly restart my phone because of weird bugs happening (one day I had to restart it 5 times lol). But, it still does have its perks. There is no need for a case for this phone. I don't drop my phone often, but I have dropped it on concrete and the kitchen floor a couple of times and it was 100% fine, no cracks whatsoever. I'd say it overall does its job all right, but I just talk about it so negatively because the battery life was the ONLY reason I chose to buy this phone instead of a different phone, and now the battery is shit. I'd say at the very least, it's long-lasting, despite the weird issues I've been having.

I don't know why all these negative comments. I am in Ghana West Africa and bought a used version of this phone in September 2018 till date and it's not giving me problems. Dropped it heavily severally but it's still kicking. On two occasions of those heavy drops the battery disconnected due to the heavy impact. But I just opened it myself which isn't hard to do and connected the battery back and working perfectly. It's still worth buying even in 2019 you like it.

Well, this phone is amazing. Yes. Not without its own issues but it's a really good phone altogether. If you want the best out of it, just upgrade it to oreo and you'll be fine. Remember that there are other patches after oreo update, you have to do that too so that you don't experience much bugs. The only disappointment for me is just the battery. I expected so much from the 3500 mah but it barely gets me through the day. It compensates with very fast charge though. This phone charges very fast. Every other thing is very good. You won't lack anything. I'll recommend you by if you're on a very low budget. I got mine for about 100 dollars (used but just like new). I had option of the moto z but choose this one because of the battery and the shatter proof tech of the screen and big battery. So far, it's not a bad phone at all.

I got this phone a year ago. The screen has bubbles in it and Motorola said they will not fix it because it was 2 weeks out of warranty. 2 WEEKS!! I just had a baby and returned back to work.... C'mon!! I do not recommend this phone!!!! I'm almost tempted to switch to Apple and I have always had Motorola products!! :(

Almost 2 years ago I walked into Verizon planning to get an HTC because I was sick and tired of my garbage Samsung Galaxy s5 that was always freezing, not holding a charge for long even after replacing the battery, and just being an overall headache. I switched from iPhone previously since I was always running out of space on it and I do not own any other devices. The Verizon salesman showed me this phone and I realized that it offered much more than the other HTC I was looking at and I couldn't be happier about my choice. The battery life is amazing. Even 2 years later it still has a better battery life than any other Smartphone I have owned even though it is not as great as it used to be. The only complaints I have is that the front facing camera is not as good as I would hope. A fairly new issue I have ran into is that sometimes in does not scroll properly through the screen when switching away from the home screen. It is minor though because it does not affect my ability to select apps unlike when this similar issue had happened to my Galaxy. Being powered by Lenovo, one of the top companies out right now for technology, is definitely working well for Motorola since their older smartphones were absolute garbage. This phone is great for people who have a tendency to drop their phones too. I drop this phone at least once a day (usually more) pretty hard too. It has not broken yet! I don't even use a case on it anymore. So the metal edges are a little rough but it doesn't affect how the phone works, that's for sure. I love how it stores your pictures in google too so that you don't have to worry about pictures using up all of your storage. Do yourself a favor and pick this phone up. You won't regret it.

I am very unhappy with my Moto Z Force. It started with a intermittent issue with the blue tooth. I tried to use the factory settings and cleared the memory. Then it was unable to connect to any blue tooth device, even things that it had been working with for a year such as my car. Then the WiFi became intermittent and now it will not connect with any WiFi signal. I had it reset by Verizon to the factory settings, I could not get this to accept my PIN, and it did not fix the issue. I called Motorola and they said it was out of warranty, even though I have an additional eight months before it is paid off. So it would cost me $150 to get it fixed, and that is if I can accept not having my phone for a couple of week or it would be more. Poor reliability, poor customer service, poor product.

From screen to camera to sound everything is such a pleasure. Built quality is out of question. I wish to get a unlocked version though as Verizon has countless annoying blotwares. I've had two die on me. One was 5 months old and it overheated and just died. The replacement overheated and died within 4 weeks. They're junk. Seriously flawed. I'm afraid the next replacement will burn my house down. I have four lines with Verizon and have used them for over 10 years. The best they will do is keep getting me replacements for this paper weight.

Motorola has provided us a circuit board mod blank build it the way you want, tune it up fix it make it your way. Compared to the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini that I had and some other phones that I've had in the past... This phone sucks on battery life, charging and sound. My S4 mini packed way more punch. I've had this phone for 3 months now and still problems with charging. I try charging my phone in the car and it only SOMETIMES works, and if it does work, and I only charge it halfway in the car, then try to switch it over to my wall charger, it completely refuses to continue charging. I've only managed to switch from car to wall charger and completely finish charging ONCE. However on the bright side, I do love the camera clarity compared to some of the other phones I've had, and the little hand motions to get the camera and flashlight on is pretty handy and nifty. Overall, I'm definitely not keeping this phone for long. I'm definitely switching back to Samsung once I get a chance, or a different phone.

I like the phone overall, especially the gestures to access the camera and the flashlight. The only issues I have had are with the Turbopower Charger. Multiple times now the phone will "freeze" on update (black screen), and connecting it to a 3rd party charger always seems to bring it back. We replaced her charger once, but the issue has come up again. My charger is nearly dead, I have to fight with it for a few minutes (moving it around and such) before it will charge. 5.7A charge is great, but only if it works...

This is sadly the phone that broke my loyalty to Motorola. Originally I owned the Droid Maxx, currently a Turbo 2, and I love that they keep things simple and pretty much stock android, as well as loving the twist movement to open camera and shake to use the flashlight, but the removable of the headphone jack for the sack of being "innovative" is a no for me. There are contemporary phones that do similar things even better while still holding onto the jack without making me carry around dongles or rely on battery using headphones.

I have been carrying this phone since December and am heavily researching my next device. The camera quality is the worst of any that I have had in years. The pictures are washed out, it takes up to 5 seconds to focus in all lighting conditions, the phone freezes during video, I am experiencing a rolling shutter effect that hasn't been seen on devices in forever. I even have to camera mod... Pictures from friends phone's are better than what I can produce even with the mod. Not to mention that fairly regularly when texting the phone will either not recognize that I am pressing a letter or it will press letter 3 times. I'm really disappointed with the device

I-crap is the most over priced piece of junk that is out right now. It is not the fastest phone, it might run the closed minded outdated ios fast, but i bet if you unlocked it and put android on it this would not be the case. Plus you can't root an i-phone and there is no headphone port and you have to interact with the phone through i-tunes (which is one of the worst programs for interacting with a piece of hardware) is a deal breaker

States clearly "•3.5mm to USB-C headphone port adapter". Which means the device needs the adaptor to use wired headsets or be used as an aux port.

People who think this is a good phone simply haven't used other phones. On many many levels this is one of the worst pieces of modern technology I have ever used. The Motorola Moto Z Force, in my opinion, is an all star champ and everything else out there pales in comparison (and no, I don't work for Moto). I have had this phone since the first of its release and I've was pleasantly surprise by all its bells and whistles. And now since the Android N update the battery life has more than doubled for me. I easily make it for two days on a full charge depending on use. Went 3 days this past weekend but it had low use as I was to busy to play with it. The Mods are also great. The great thing about Android is that you get to choose the hardware. Motorola continues to be head of the pack when it comes to this.

I had the same question. So, I bought both. Hands down, the better phone is the Moto Z. The only draw back is that it does not have Android Nougat...yet. The Pixel is glitchy, slower, more delicate and lower over all quality in pretty much every component. Oh, the 821 vs. 820 processor? Insignificant difference in clock speed.

You know what is the biggest error made by Lenovo? Keeping the Z force in the US. The Z Force is about the same size of any flagship and has a big battery and a shatterproof screen (the total opposite of an iPhone). If it was released outside the US, it could've been a solid competitor to all the other brands.

This phone doesn't have a 3.5 mm headphones jack. You have to use wireless "Bluetooth" headphones or use the included USB - C to 3.5 MM headphone cord. It plugs into the USB-C port and has the 3.5 female outlet on the other side.

The fingerprint sensor must be on the screen side of the phone due to the different Moto Mods that may be attached to the back of the phone. The camera protrusion is not an issue because the phones were designed to have something attached to the back. Indeed, the Moto X Force was well known for its durability but that protruding camera on this phone doesn't look durable at all. And you're right about the fingerprint sensor, it totally ruins the design of the phone, they could've incorporated the fingerprint sensor into the Motorola logo, it would have looked way better.

Its thicker due to obvious changes that result in nearly 99.999% increase in thickness. The main issue would be the battery being 900 mAh larger. your looking at 2600 to 3500 mAh batteries. that alone will cause thickness. Ill take the thicker version in a heart beat because after a week of use you will never be able to tell unless you play with each one. Larger battery, shatter proof screen and better camera....yea ill settle for the slightly larger thickness as im always on my phone and these are clearly appealing features.

I look at these specs and I see that the Force variant is not only shatterproof, but has a better camera and battery. If the design was just a bit improved, that would definitely be a strong competitor of both S7 and 6S. I am just worried about 4G bands in Canada. Otherwise the Moto Mods is actually a great idea! Lenovo launched vibe x2 with similar option of attaching mods but in India they launched only battery pack n nothing else. Jbl speakers were shown in ads but we're not launched. I think it's gonna be similar case with this device. They won't be launching speakers or projector or other advanced mods. They wil just launch the battery extension. Lol, some people are saying, they using moto & the new design is great. I'm using moto too but damm lenovo kills the moto & now providing pretty ugly phones. They put fingerprint reader at front, it's okkkk not great but now with moto logo, OMG it's really ugly now. it doesn't need logo, it has dimple. & what about the 3.5mm audio Jack? moto give me the earphone in the box but after 2 minutes of use I put it to dustbin. This time I think Moto Z Force would outsell Moto Z. The 2600mAh battery of Moto Z is an absolute turn-off for many however Z Turbo has a nice 3500mAh battery. As far as the overall design is considered, well looks like Lenovo has opted for utilitarian looks on all Moto devices. It's hard to believe that a phone this ugly is made by same guys who made the beautiful devices like Droid Razr, MotoMing.

i'm actually rather intrigued by this phone. while 5.5" is more than i'm comfortable with and the square fingerprint reader isn't the prettiest thing around, to say the least, those aren't deal breakers either. the attachments are interesting, though. even if only to use a pretty back cover (which hopefully would also level the camera). if this phone performs well enough without those, regarding battery life, sound quality and such, i'll really consider getting this at some point. the Axon 7 is also very promising so far, though... so right now it comes down to the price. the Axon 7 will be cheaper than this, no doubt, but if the Moto Z Force and the attachments won't be too pricey, i'd readily pay a bit more

I'm extremely glad and proud about the fact that I had the chance to own Moto G1, Moto G2 and currently I have a Moto X2. All of those are flawless phones, durable, attractive, fast, reliable, issuesless, awesome appearance.
