had this phone as far as i remember it wouldnt be able to connect with then official samsung software to pc at all (brother had different samsung model with same cable but only his would be recognized if i remember correctly for mine it would say unsupported, it was 02 variant if it means anything) if you dont have much images in there try using mms and send them to your other phone

the only way you can send your data from your Samsung E330 to another phone, is simply by MMS. try to put a sim card in your other phone and send it.

The phone got two kinds of memory: Phone memory and Java memory. if you have downloaded to many games on it, that might be the becaution. else try to delete all your messages one more time, then the icon should disapear:)

I have been using the Samsung SGH-E330 for 4 years with no problems but now my diplay has a blue flashing light in top lefthand corner and shows Memory Full. The Samsung SGH-E330 was second mobile phone I purchase and only the thing I can say is that this phone don`t need much of praising, the facts speak for themselves; I acquire my E330 on September 1st 2005, it still works perfectly as it worked on the first day when I bought it and I use the original battery that came with the phone. Believe it or not after almost five years of constant usage that same battery by my best judgment works on approximately 90% of its original capacity, lasting almost full time before recharging again. Samsung E330 at the time of appearance maybe wasn`t high-tech phone, but this is some real piece of quality, I`ll tell you that baby.

Nice little phone. Simple, nice shape/feel. Great if you just want a phone for being a phone. Same software as many of the other SYSOL platform based phones (like the E800). Good sound quality, mainly due to its face hugging shape, but also the samsung 'voice clarity' feature. VGA Camera OK, only downside is connectivity is a little limited.

i've had this phone since xmas 05 and yeh it dont do alot but what it does do it does well- the pictures arnt AMAZING but this is a phone not a camera, and for the price of the phone id say your getting your moneys worth, it has flash too and quite alot of more expensive phones dont have that. i would prefer it if it had Blutooth and video but you cant have everytihng- well you can if you get a better phone but im just being gratefull for what i got. x x x

hi i had same problem with data cable, not sure how i solved it, i think its is trial and error! but i found if u do it in a certain order that sometimes help, try putting cable into computer, then connecting it to the phone, then opening the programme, may help!

Deer all !!! I have had this phone from last 11 months. Now I'm bored with this phone. My father has sent me D600 by hand of our neighbour which will be here day after tomorrow (12 May). I'm very excited now. I would like to answer some questions about E330. To=> "girl" You can definitely select the caller ID. Go to the number stored in your phone which u want to set on a caller ID > Click on that number > Go to Graphic by pressing the navigation key to right side , then sellect a picture u want to set as caller ID. It is true that the light goes off after u close the phone within 2 seconds , but u can light on the phone even in close by holding for 2 seconds the left side volume keys any time. What the heck. Plus, is there any way you can make the clock actually STAY on the front screen? Hi sarah. U asked a couple of days ago about the smudge on ur photos! Its probably a fingerprint... Mine was the same, best thing 2 do is get a clean polishing cloth with a tiny bit ov water on it and clean the lens gently. It worked for me. Good luck x

i love this wee phone always wanted one in pink, this phone supports real tones but doesnt say in manual but you have to be carefull where you get them from as some are really bad. also answer to a couple previous threads, doesnt make a sound when texting in quiet mode, and to see time on front display press up/down button on left for a few seconds. hope this helps

i love this phone, although i haven;t got it but my sis & mate has. its good and the camera is execlent, as you can take pictures with the phone open as well as closed when you want a picture to inculde you in it! the only downside which my sister is having is the alarm it wont go off when the phone is off and doesn't want to leave it on over night all the time. other then that its good & im hoping to get one in pink after i have sold all of my phones!

My wife has had her E33o for 2 months and is going to buy a new Nokia this weekend. The menu system is totally illogical and the initial grid menu is so faint as to be hard to see. After 2 months of sliding it into & out from her pocket the back is very scratched, and she is always careful not to put anything else in that pocket. What she finds worst is that if she is composing a text and accidentally cancels half way through, the text is lost. It always stays on Nokias until you deliberately clear it. All in all, she is so disapointed that she is going ot buy a much cheaper Nokia.

I've this phone for almost 9 months now and have some problems with it. After 6 months I got problems when i opened the phone. Many times it switched off. Now a few months later another problems occurs and that is that when i click shut the phone, it switches off. Herefor I had a Nokia and had never problems witth my phone. So I really don't reccommend Samsung. They bring a lot of different models on the market, but the quality is not what it supposed to be.

This phone has a really awesome design and all the functions work really well. The built-in hands free kit is a cool bonus. Things that I don't like about this phone are: there is no infrared, no bluetooth, no radio, no true tones, you can't create sms groups and the cable to download photos to a PC costs a fortune!!!!!

I bought this phone a few days ago, and am waiting to get it unlocked so I can use my orange sim card, but i've been playing about with it, and it looks quite good. A bit disappointed it doesnt have infrared though, I loved having it on my sagem myx6 and being able to send all my pics to my laptop for free :( But its pink!! and thats great. But i do have a question. The front display- how do you keep the clock on there for more than 2 seconds?? surely the point in a flip phone is that you dont have to open it to find out the time (for example, while in a lecture you can just quickly glance at the front of the phone). This is a fantastic little phone - the design is great, and it does everything it was intended to do very well. It should be noted, however, that the phone is not (and wasn't intended to be) particularly feature-rich. Sure, there is a camera with a flash and all that, but there are some prominent omissions in the feature set. If you're after an average phone with a few extra goodies, then this one does the job admirably. The design is great, the functionality is great, and it does enough to satisfy the average person. Highly recommended.

i have a samsung E330 i think it a pretty good phone but its missing a few feature. radio, if you record a voice/song/noise of any kind you cant make it into a ringtone. Some noise's on it you cant turn off,unless on silent. Could use a few more colours on it. N would like to change the front screen but can only have a clock. Maybe i'm just being pickie, but other then that itz a pretty good phone ... thanx for reading.

I bought this fone last month from orange and now i am having terrible trouble. as soon as i got it home i found that i couldn't get a signal, so i took it back to orange and got it unlocked. it cost me �20 and i had to wait 1 month for them to tell me the code. i then put a vodafone sim card in a found out because vodafone don't do that fone they don't have the settings to put on it. that means that when i turn it on orange comes up and i can't go on WAP or send MMS messeges. i can't even send photos. i bought this phone because it had these features and they don't even work. If i had the chose again i would defently buy a fone from vodafone. I no it's not orange's fault but it's just the area i live in doesn't have a very good network with orange. Love Gemma

I've had this phone for about 4 weeks now and overall it's a huge improvement from my Nokia 6610. It is harder to text since predictive text is defaulted for my E330 and I usually text with normal text so I have to change it everytime before I text. Apart from that there isn't too many complaints. Afterall, it is a phone and I can use it to talk to people so therefore it's good. :)

I was just wondering is there differences in e330 software around the world? Just because people here seem to complain alot about the predictive test not being the default mode. In my e330 it is. And I hate to write msgs with t9, it's annoying. And everytime I write a msg, I have to take the t9 off. Otherwise I've been happy with this phone. I've had it for two weeks now and it has been working fine. The soundquality on ringtones/truetones isn't great, neither the quality of the camera. But who cares, because I think this is most of all A PHONE, not a camera or a musicplayer! If I want to take good photos I use my digicamera and for music I have my netMD. :-)

Nice elegant and easy to use phone. It does have true tones but I think the sound quality is totally crap. I don't think there's a way to turn off the sound when sending msg, believe me I've tried, I've been so annoyed by this as well. And the Poly ringtones are crap. If you don't demand to much of your phone and if you want an elegant and easy to use phone this is the one to get. By the way, this phone doesn't have: Bluetooth, Realtones, mp3, video, It is NOT a good game phone - unfortunetly :o(.

Reply to Simona. To be able to download stuff (ringtones, picures etc) on the phone you must set your phone to do so. You should contact your phone company, they will (usually) send you via sms the codes you need to do so.

Two probs tho.... 1) Everytime you send a message it plays a tune which is really annoying (especially if ur txtin in lessons or in the middle of the night). I bought this phone in May and it's fantastic. It's nice and small and light - it's rubbish what everyone's saying about there being little battery life as I use my phone a fair amount and I'm getting on better with the Samsung than with my old Nokia. The camera could be a little better, but heck, it's a cheap enough phone & it's better than a lot of cameras I've seen out there. The quality of the zoom isn't very good, mind you, but the flash is extra handy stuff. Also, another drawback is that there's no data cable included & I seem to be getting mixed messages about which data cable's needed to connect it to the computer. Bluetooth would be helpful here, but I have a disliking for it. One way to do it is to send the picture to a friend who doesn't have a picture phone - they recieve a link to a website and can then save the picture. A mess on, but it's fine if you've just got one picture you really want to share with someone.

had this phone abotu 4 months now, it's ok, looks nice, defo a birds phone! Not much in the way of technology, no bluetooth or infrared which lets it down and no MP3. Camera is pretty poor too. Vibration only works on silent so expect to miss calls and it keeps taking pics of the inside of my handbag!

I got this phone in March, it's really good, camera is great, enough memory, small design. Good for people who want a basic camera phone without features like video. One point is that i wished it had infrared or bluetooth.

AJ: that's because u haven't activated ur gprs yet, u need to activate ur gprs, after that activate mms and then only u can receive picture messages thru ur phone n not online.

For those need to PC LINK from phone to PC need to use correct cable which was PCB133LBE ONLY. If use others cable, it's won't work. Find the correct cable, sure it work..

I just had the Samsung E330 today and so far it is great!! I used to have the LG7100 but the Samsung is much better. The only problem was when I put my simcard in my LG and copied my phonebook on the SIM card from the phone when I then put the SIM card back into the Samsung E330 only the main number of the people came up and for most of these this was the house number so I can't text the without having to put the card back in the LG, writing the other numbers down and adding them onto the Samsung. If anyone knows an easier way please tell me. Other than that I think it's great, I think the camera's really good too compared to my LG.

I upgraded from a Samsung V200 to this phone and was quite disappointed. Its a lovely modern design but have had problems with the clarity of it and a really annoying feature is that the camera button on the side takes photos when the phone is in my bag/pocket. The camera button is quite sensitive and cant be locked so have about 70 photos of the inside of my pocket! Also found the battery doesnt last very long. Will probably try a different make next time

i just bought the e330 today. it seems a col phone. the camera is good but not in comparison with the cameras in new samsung phones. one problem. many websiteincluding GSM ARENA states that the handset has 9 MB of memory. but under the memory status indicator it says it has 5MB total memory. please let me know the reason if some one is aware. thanx

I've used this phone for 3 months now. It has lots of annoying features compared to nokia phones. You have to perform several selections beofre you can send messages. Bad battery. Can't have vibration and ring tones on at same time. Good camera though. If i had the money i'd trade this for Nokia 3230

Hey Astridoes, unfortunately dude that is not possiable - but you can switch it on by pressing the voloume keys at the side of the phone - hold it on for 2 - 5 sec's it will turn on the light - since its a tft screen there is no other way out :(

This is the second Samsung I have, and I was hoping to get two batteries, with this one, like I got with the previous one. I like it very much,although, the melodies, should be more tech sounds, than boring tunes. The keys are much easyer topress, and very well lighted in blu....cool ! Camera is poor quality, but who cares. There should be more functions in the organizer, scheduler, allarm, with more choice of melodies. Also a USB to transfere the phone book to the PC, or upload photos. But a complementary battery, is definetly a plus. Ho yes, and I almost forgot; the new feature to enable to record a conversation, when talking to someone else. All in all, GREAT PHONE, I reccommend it; it's small, but much more comfortable than the previous version. But Samsung........please, those games.......what a waste of battery, and you could replace them with other features. After all, Samsung, is a professional and serious piece of equipment. ( As I said, PC connection for upload and download of stuff, and complementary battery. You want cheap,tough,functional ?? BUY IT

Really nice, neat, well made phone which does pretty much all you could expect at the price. The only gripe I have is that although you can take pics with the phone, the data cable and software to download them to your PC are available as extras which I think is a bit mean.

I just bought this phone 4 about 3 days or so..Guess it's a good phone; nice pictures;65k color; good clear sound. But the minusses are no bluetooth, no infra red, weak battery power...I already charged it for 3 times in 3days...But overall i'll give this phone 7 out of 10

hey guys, i'm from malaysia and i just bought this phone last 2 months. and overall it's quite good for moderate user and those who dont request too much of a phone. the vga cam is good clear enough and better than that of E600. very stylish indeed and overall quite nice. just that the battery standby time isnt that long.. u have to kept recharging it. if u use it for calling too often u might have to recharge it within a day. the menu icons are not that beautiful.. it's only white and red.. but overall very nice..

I've just bought this phone and I guess it's pretty good. It doesn't have video recorder which I am disappointed, but it has voice recorder that you can record songs, and when you playback it plays over the speaker phone. It's kind of like a low quality mp3 player. You can record over 1 hour (despiste using the other spaces for images etc.) I think this is one of the best features on this phone. The VGA camera is very good, well I think it is. I like the self-portrait mode, it shows a clear showing (unlike the e700). You can change modes, such as adding frames or having it on night mode. It also has a flash (which is also used as a service light) this can only be used on Manual (no flash) or Automatic (auto flash each time). It doesn't really show during the day but it's good for night shots. If you're buying this phone for the camera, it's a good thing to buy a data cable so you can put these onto your computer. The external LCD screen is nice, but only thing is that you can't put a wallpaper on the screen - only a digital or analog clock. And for some reason, after a few minutes the screen turns black, meaning that if you were to check the time you would have to hold the volume keys on the side to light up the screen (it's the worst feature on the phone). Caller ID is very good, with the picture appearing as the person calls, only that if you usually store your numbers on your sim card, you have to copy them onto your phone and then delete off your sim to use this feature (frustrating, especially if you tend to change phones every few months, years or so). I didn't like the fact you can't change the menu format it's the 3 by 3 menu. And one menu is useless for me because my sim provider does not offer SIM extras (such as horoscope and weather). I haven't tried the WAP features yet, as I haven't activated it yet. I'm sure it'll work fine. The ringtones are okay, but I'm hoping to change it soon (downloading or data cable), because they irritate me! They don't have ring and vibrate, only vibrate, then ring. So all you Nokia users, you're gonna have to get used to it (I have to..) It has useful features, alarm, calender, to do list etc, so it's pretty easy to use. You can set a different tone for TXT Msgs and MMS Msgs. That's all I have to say for now, but any questions just reply here or something. Hope this has helped you.

yes you can take a picture when the phone flip is closed all you have to do is hold down the phone symbol on the right side of the phone and the picture will apear on the front display. to take the picture just press it again and there you go! i hope this helped yaxx

No PC cable was provided - I need to go and actively seek one; 3. Battery life at about 3 days, which vary depending on how much u talk. Other than that, a rather nifty phone, nice design and size.

If you register with the samsung fun club and go to it through wap, you can hear previews of the ringtones before you buy and alot of them vibrate and ring at the same time. I have 'Naughty girl' by Beyonce and that vibrates and rings together. Obviously you need to hear them on your phone first to know if they vibe/ring at the same time.

This fone is really great, but its really frustrated that you cant change the background of the front-screen (except the digital or analog clock). You also dont see your photocallerID on the whole front-screen. That really sucks! I hope there will be new software from samsung soon. btw: my fone is connected with my pc perfectly. But how can you delete a sound in "my sounds"???

"get ure eyes tested they say" well let me tell u sumthin, u r probably thinkin that this fone is the best thing since sliced bread! i av ad this fone since christmas day and i thought the same! but after a while the cracks start to shoe, the stupid sound it makes wen sumthin has changed and u cnt turn it off! the blaring music it plays wen u go into Java! i have had the phone for about 4 weeks now n i still think its great, before i got this phone i had the huge NEC e616v and the samssung e330 compared to that phone well what can i say, the samsung is tiny compared to that phone so light in weight slim sleek, and really easy to work! not much else i can say, but those who thinks this samsung e330 is crap well you need your eyes testing! go get this phone if you havent already!

Love it but two bad design faults: when you change your text settings to predictive text and large text (essential for old gimmers like me) it only lasts for that text then defaults to normal text size and non-predictive. The latter is VERY frustrating. I've tried everything - is it just me?

u can only put the photos taken on the internal screen but not the external screen. but the photo for the caller id will appear on the external screen.

if u want to change the front LCD go on menu, the down to phone settings, then to display, then down to front LCD, you can choose a Digital clock, which is on your phone when you first get it or choose from 3 analog clocks, thats all u can choose from hope this helps! MUST READ!

yes, it has a speaker. other things: the camera is good, excellent sound qulity of the earphone,general good performance etc. it is a very friendly phone and has a very good value for the money. only one real "minus": the battery life (max 3 days on medium usage).

Kev. Theres a much simpler way to turn the sound off than that! Go to Sound Settings; Go to Key Tones; Select Off. The phone won't make any noise at all then.

i have heard a lot of people complaining about the sounds the phone makes when scrolling in the menu if u hold down the # key it turns to silent mode and when u finish scrollin hold # to put sound back on

For the Price this is a really good phone, i mean name another phone with 2 colour screens and a camera that is as compact and nice to look at as the e330, it is a bit a downer that it doesn't have bluetooth or infra red but data cables aren't particularily expensive. The battery definately lasts 3 days for me, the memory is plenty and the camera is half decent, overall it's a really good phone.

Just got this phone. Its ok. Pretty basic but it'll do. The things that annoy me about are: 1) The outer screen stays lit when charging. Bit stupid considering most people charge there phone at night. This was the same with my old Samsung E800, but i'd hoped that was a one off with that particular phone. I was wrong! 2) You don't seem to be able to enable T9 as the default message format. On other Samsungs i've had if you used T9 on one message, it automatically defaulted to it on the next message. Does anyone know if its possible to do enable it? 3) The camera shutter sound is os irritating! You should be able to turn it off. I noticed somebody on here said that was because its illegal, but I dont believe thats correct, beacuse I had an O2 X3 before this & you could turn the sound off on that. The things I like about are: 1) Its lightweight & compact. 2) Its fairly straightforward to use(besides the T9 thingy with the messages) Thats about it really!

When i get messages off one of my friends, as soon as i open it it throws up a message that says 'message needs a reply' and my only option is to exit the message. this means i cant read the text which is very annoying! it then throws up the same message whenever you open it :s but it only does it on messages off one person.. does this mean it's her phone and not mine? is there anyway i can stop it? its only started doing it recently.. any help wud be greatly appreciated! thanks

Well, the external LCD is capable to display a digital clock and, in addition, three analogue clocks are also available options. Otherwise the purpose of external LCD is to inform you about the caller party when you receive an incoming call. The name OR colour photo of the caller is displayed, the latter if you associated a photo with the appropriate name in your phonebook. Picture quality is reasonable in both external and internal LCDs. Remember to set contrast setting of the external LCD to minimum, otherwise your display will be almost unreadable. There are two built in java enabled games.

all depends on what you're expecting! all i can say is that my wife absolutely loves it. IMO it look nice, very neat. and guess what? you can even make phone calls on it! lol. so what if it hasn't got infrared, use a data cable instead. it's hardly the end of the world is it? so: if you MUST have infrared or bluetooth, then don't buy it... in my case, i needed the handsfree option, and needed bluetooth for this, so didn't buy myself a samsung. my wife doesn't need handsfree, so i bought it for her instead...

What is wrong with the E330 (as compared to E600) Poor menu system packed with useless functions. I.e., there is a currency converting function, you can convert Euros to any of the withdrawn European currencies (DEM, ATS, ITL, etc.) and vice versa. However, existing options such as USD, GBP are not included. Photo and melody upload functions, as well as the Photo Editor are unavailable (dimmed) in the EasyStudio application. You can upload photos and melodies by using the File Manager only, but unfortunately you cannot attach uploaded photos to phone numbers.

The phone is really cool. it looks good and has some really cool functions. and i've heard you can record on the voice recorder and use the sound as a ringotne. see ya guys tillie

screen is brill, cant turn sound off when talking a photo, but you can changed the sound to a different 1 coz when you get the phone there is an annoying sound when ya first take a pic, just change it! it has good features but nothing like bluetooth or infared. but still a cool fone n it is so small and light in weight. i couldnt believe my eyes when i first go it! there isnt a send box there in an outbox tho there both just the same neways! i dont know how many messages you can actually save but guessin quite alot because it a great phone. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! to all~~~~~~~~~ go on treat yourself~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ :-D

I just got this phone and I love it, the camera is good and takes pictures quickly unlike my previous Sony Ericsson cell. The zoom is good and I like the layout and style of the menu and phone, I'm really pleased I got it and not the ugly E600. Also no annoying arial sticking out of the top! Oh and the phone vibrates then rings and vibrates to whoever said it didn't.

Worst mobile software ever: I bought the phone a short time ago without looking into its specs in detail, and i really regret it now. I have no control on it. Not even mentioning about no IR or bluetooth which is totally ridiculuos, other disadvantages are: 1-You can't disable T9 for SMS 2-Very limited ringtones (because SMS has its own ringtones, and calls have their own) 3-You can't turn off the sounds which beeps while you are browsing in the menus 5-Camera sound can't be turned off 6-punctuation is difficult during typing 7-The worst: It either rings or vibrates, but not at the same time. 8-Some more My old phone which is sold for 25 euros now, can do more except color screen.

Nice phone. Good points - good battery life, styling, memory size, display quality. Bad points - no IR, Bluetooth or any way to connect to a PC for up/downloading. Too easy to accidentally use the camera function and can't disable the feature.

Luke what are you talking about son the UFB screen on the e330 is dredfull i should know i had one and took it back and exchanged it for a e600. But whats most worse is when taking pictures with the e330 the apauling screen gap widens even more when compared to the e600. Picture quality wise the e330 is not worth having if you mainly plan on taking pictures inside as they are really dark and grainy becuase the UFB screen hasn't got the brightness and clarity to produce a reconsible picture indoors the e600 however with its TFT screen has and can take perfect pictures indoors as well as outdoors. Since the e600 is the same price as the e330 it makes sense to buy the e600 as it has better screen and camera quality on top of that it also has infrared is triband and has a video recorder. E330 only has a poor camera with no video recorder no infrared no triband only dualband. e330 should be �130 and e600 should remain at its �180 price.

Let me tell you all something, due to the fact that Samsung have put a 40 chord ringtone system you can have voices as your ringtone. Yes the fone may have a UFB screen but there is absolutely no difference! It is an amazing little fone. both cameras are good, ringtones are clear not fuzzy and for the price it is absolutely perfect! So if u r stuk between the E600 and E300 gor for neither.. Go for this. Why not ask ureself why the E300 is about �90 when this is �135? Think about it? Samsung are a very classy fone company, all of my Samsung are very good-they dont break like Nokia's! All my Nokias hav been a comlete loss! The pixels smudge and keep reseting on the screen which makes it look ugly and cheap! By all means i hope that this influencs on youre search for a new a and classy fone! Good Day.

In my opinion the e600 and e300 are so much better than the e330. For a start the screen. I mean come on you dont charge over �130 in stores for a phone that only has a camera and a UFB screen. Thats just wrong. The UFB screens are so crap in comparrison with a TFT and you can notice the difference. It'd be ok if the phone did more but alls it does is take pictures. The e600 does video, looks just as cool takes photos etc etc and actually has an infared device. If the e330 was lower in price like it should be then we wouldnt have to compare the other samsung phones with it, but the fact they're in the same price range and ones much more superior to the other it does cause debate. Samsung e330 should be lowered in price i think and the e600 is in perfect price range for its specs and abilities. Hope this helped some people stuck between the two.

Are you kidding me Uni jimbtes2k21? you must be coz the camera is disgusting on the e330. It really is awful its a toy camera. How can you possibily think it aint grainy its well grainy and dark when you take pictures with it. E600 is so much better and brighter at taking pictures. i think coz you haven't seen the quality of the e600 camera you have nothing to compare the e330 against so you think the e330 pictures look ok for a phone, however if you had seen the e600 screen quality and picture quality you would be sincerely humbled because it is soo much better than the e330 i should know i had the e330 then sold it and got the e600 instead. E600 65K TFT, better and brigther pictures, longer battery life, has infrared, has video capture, triband so works in the states. E330 poor 65k UFB screen UFB is alot worser quality than TFT by far. Dark and grainy pictures. no infrared, no video capture, only dualband NOT TRIBAND so wont work in the states and battery life is apauling i had to charge mine up every day thats one of the reasons i sold it. Basicly anyone if you have read what i have wrote and you still are going to buy this phone then my friend good luck to you coz you'll need it!

So for crimbo i got the E330. Personally i think its better than all my frendz fones and better than my dad's n sis', and they have really smart phones. But im really awkward and picky... i like features like fully customizable power off n on tones and the E330 doesnt have these! plus you can only have certain predefined message tones! havin no ringtone editor isnt a prob cos im not really that musical, but no infrared or bluetooth to d/l from pc!!! Try and compare the two using the compare function of GSMarena, Theres almost nothing the E600 has better than the E330 besides small things such as 64 polyphonic vs 40 except maybe the TFT screen, but i'm not sure how much better it is. I definitely think that the E330 is better than E600, But I'm not sure about E300 vs. E330...

Now, Which is best? the E330 or the E300. I know the E300 has a better screen (TFT) than the E330 (UFB), but how much better is it? and the E300 can record video whereas the E330 can't. Then there's the antenna issue but I think I can live with it. The price isn't much different. The lifetime of the battery is better for the E330 (probably because of the screen). The E330 has more memory (8.66Mb vs. 6.7Mb in the E330). The Design is a bit better on the E330, but I don't care about that. The E300 has a composer so you can make your own music for free, whereas the E330 lacks that feature. The externel display on the E330 is a bit larger (96x96 vs. 96x64 on the E300). This is the differences I have found so far... I'm leaning towards the E300 but i'm still unsure. What is your opinion?

Dear Mel the e330 picture quality is bad i had one, when you snap a picture it goes dark and grainy and it aint even got a video recorder its crappy dualband and it aint got infrared. e600 is better as it has TFT screen better picture quality which is nice bright and clear, video recorder, tri band so it works in the states and it has infrared and better battery life, theres just no comparison e600 is much better and there the same price now!

I brought this E330 phone 2 weeks ago the picture quality of it is very poor indeed so i sold it and brought a E600. The samsung E600 is much better than this for taking photos and has a clearer screen 65K TFT. This E330 has a poor 65k UFB screen turns whats meant to be bright into dark and grainy pictures. When you view a picture through the viewfinder it looks ok but once you take the picture it saves it in the phone awfuly dark and grainy. Also this phone has no infrared or video capture. The E600 has video and infrared and is triband. E330 is only dual band and the battery life is really bad i had to charge it up everyday. E600 battery life lasts much longer than this. So to sum up E330= budget camera phone E600= mid range. E600 has better screen 65k TFT is triband and has much better battery life and has infrared. E330 only has a poor 65k UFB screen no infrared, no video capture only is dualband and has bad battery life. The only thing going for it is it has a internal antenna but you can buy small stubby antennas for the E600 for less than �5 so this isnt a issue my advice would be to go for a e600 its only �20 more.

I just bought this phone today, have not had the chance to fool around with it yet, but I am really hoping that it has IR functions. But I doubt it, cause not that many people really use it. PS. I can hardly understand peoples statements here, where the hell are they from? Or is this some kind of low level Internet English that has spawned since the birth of the internet? ;-)

This Fone is realy good the only downside is that it doesnt have video playback or recording but that doesnt matter because all other phone only record for 1 min anyway... This fone is good if you get it on 02 because if you top up 10 pounds a month u can get 300 texts free witch comes in handy the menu layout is great and easy to use its packed ull of great ringtones and is a small flip phone ( NOT LIKE THEM BRICK 3 PHONES)THE PHOTO CALLING IS GOOD BECAUSE THE PHOTO SHOW ONTHE FRONT SCREEN SO IF YOU SEE A FACE of a person you dont like then u kno NOT TO ANSER lol... Why does everybody talk about the fones bad points and make the fone seem rubish why dont people talk abvout good things aswel...

This is a great phone! I've just bought it and it took me only one afternoon to get to grips with the menus - and I've never had a samsung before! I love the photo caller and the vibrate is really strong!

will you lot type english, this isn't a sms forum. so far i like the phone, shame about the i/r and video record/playback. unlike other samsung models it only comes with a standard battery, hope that it gives good results. i bought mine offline so it had the incorrect settings loaded to o2 payg. but logging into www.02.co.uk and getting the settings texted to me using the settings for the samsung e700 worked perfectly well. also nice to see a snooze function with the morning alarm.

It does not have infrared, does not record videos, nevertheless it is the telephone more wonderful that I have seen, I have order it and do not see the hour of have i it near . The screens UFB have a quality of image very near to the TFT and consume less, depending on for what you look can seem to you to be better or worse.

hey dudes, i think there is a video recorder on this o so sexy phone, coz it basically builds on the E310, which has a video capture feature. i don't know for sure, but i think it does have video capture.later dudes.
