  • Phone has Sound recorder (not Call Recorder) ... ? I want to record sound of 2 hour.

  • 1) : you need to erase everything in the SD card (I recommend using a PC to do it) 2) : insert SD card back to your Nokia 150 3) : Take a picture and record a video 4) : Turn on the Bluetooth and make it visible 5) : send a small .jpg photo, a small .avi video and (most importantly) an .mp3 file to your Nokia 150 6) : Go to Menu>Music>Opt.>All songs then play the .mp3 file you sent. 7) : If the file runs fine, then jump to the next step. If not, send a different .mp3 file and try again. 8) : Turn of your phone and eject the SD card and plug-it in your PC 9) : Open the SD card folder to view files 10) : Open "Music files" folder then open "Received music" folder In this folder, you can find the .mp3 file you have sent before; you can put here all the .mp3 files you want instead of using Bluetooth every time. 11) : eject your SD card form the PC and put it back in your phone then repeat step 6. 12) : You will find all the .mp3 files here. 13) : Enjoy

  • This phone has a very good battery life. And its easy to use.

  • How to adjust brightness of Nokia 150

  • If you do want a flawless dumb-phone experience, stay away from Nokias made under HMD; the software, together with hardware, is very inferior to GOOD classic Nokia phones (6303, X2-00, E52) which are way cheaper than these HMD-made Nokias

  • what about a calander with reminder-function?

  • I should mention something that I presumed standard on all phones... It doesn't have a stopwatch or a countdown timer

  • No.. its not series40 OS mobile.. its just series30 mobile. whatsap suport only s40 version and wil stop suport by the end of next yr.

  • SMS capecity ?

  • Hi, low price nokia company product is very good my openion please delete your neagative comments

  • Go for Nokia 3310 3G. It seems to be the best feature phone that Nokia/Hmd released until today. I am using Nokia 230 by Nokia/Microsoft and I am thinking to go for 3310 3G because I need a 3G feature phone. Don't forget that Nokia is going to be present at MWC 2018. They surely will announce some new devices both feature phones and smartphones. I wish them to make an impression and steal the show just like they did when they announced 3310 2G. Nokia/Hmd feature phones are already extremely popular. I have already bought Nokia 105 new version and it is a good phone for the basics.

  • No call recording option

  • the problem is: Battery.... trust me, it took twice charging in a day

  • hello friends, i want to know that hows display experience during watching videos?? i have nokia x2-01. is it better to switch this phone? plz reply.

  • Worked it out. It is the menu on the idle screen labelled 'Go to'.

  • what are: * Go to Settings in the Settings menu? I can't even Google the term because of millions of hits telling people to go to settings.

  • Just waste of money. Can't find even SD card. No play list. Music quality is so so... Just go to Samsung Music Guru 2...

  • Bluetooth cannot be used for handsfree: no bluetooth audio support. Big disadvantage.

  • Dear all friends, don't waste your money to purchase Nokia 150. I waste my money. I thought that Nokia will be like old is gold but all is wrong. There is no battery backup draining in 1 day. Missing common function like no restart. Ring tone sound is very low. I had used Nokia 5233. Nokia 5233 was very good mobile according to my experience like battery backup , camera, music. But this Nokia 150 is very bad mobile. It's show battery backup will be 22 days stands by but it ends in a day. I contact two times to customer care but they says the your mobile battery is good. So please don't purchase any product of Nokia.Old Nokia mobile was too good in every aspects. Go to Samsung instead of Nokia . I have a Samsung Mobile Model no SGH-C140, it still working properly after using 10 years.Just I had replaced my battery only one time.Thanks.

  • Is there a limited storage capacity? Contacts and messages!

  • capacity of contacts in the phone book?

  • Nokia 150 is good, if the phone can browse i will not used any other phonne but nokia 150

  • Wau I'm truly amazed by the stupidity of people. Why would you want to compare this phone with smartphones? It's not a smartphone. It's just like if you compared a bicycle and a car. They both get you places, but the method is different, so you DON'T COMPARE IT. I came here to see peoples opinions on what it offers as a classic phone. But all I see is how this is not a smartphone. So sadly the gsmarena disappointed me for the first time.

  • how many sms can restore?

  • does this phone support custom music playlist?

  • Approx how many sms does it store?

  • Does it have auto call record feature?

  • As a builder, SMSs are a record of decisions made. I have to delete some to get more because the capacity is so limited. This makes the phone no use for the job. Was sold a slot-in memory card to sort the problem but it didn't. Really hope someone knows how to sort the problem.

  • How about the SMS/messaging capacity? After a number of messages, i should delete some messages? In Nokia X2-02 phone, i never have any problem about the sms capacity.

  • This phone don't have brightness settings. I agree with you.

  • It isn't possible to set up brightness.

  • It isn't possible.

  • Call recorder facility is available !?

  • Check that Settings->tones->vibration is "on". When changing profile from general to silent vibration must be set to "on". If the phone does not vibrate when someone calls you, the phone might be broken->service. You are talking about vibracall, what is that? Are you talking about Viber? Viber not available for this phone.

  • There's option for "vibration on", but it doesn't vibrate - there's no vibracall in this phone

  • No screensaver, and only one time shown on the screen. Sending message is like it used to be "back in old good days": Slow typing.

  • Like screensaver type. Multiple time show on screen massage sending.

  • With Nokia 150 you can't sync, no internet available in this phone.

  • I need a feature phone but my primary concern is how to syn contact with google account. Really appreciate if you can clear it for me.

  • Nice phone for this price, 19€ here in Finland. Needed basic phone, and this is all I need: Calling ok with good audio quality. SMS works, MP3-player is very simple but works, audio quality with speaker is... well... good for this price. Torch is a nice feature. Lightweight, feels like a plastic toy, but hey, who cares, it works! Also nice that I can set my own background image and mp3 ringtone. Camera? Simple and horrible, almost useless point-and-click without any settings. I like.

  • What is the sar value of nokia 150???

  • Does it support sony headphones.

  • How to adjust brightness its too high for night.

  • ya option is there for incoming vibrate today only bought , but i am not able to adjust brightness

  • In my Nokia 150 Screen turned ON automatically in every 15 second. How to get ride of this Problem?

  • how to reduce brighness level????

  • How to deactivate black background when i dial any number..

  • Go to Profile --> select your profile --> Personalize --> Vibration = ON, Activate your profile and hope that your problem will be solved.

  • audio quality is fine, with a bit of distortion at max volume, i can say the audio is solid, plain and simple, just like nokia asha before

  • Cant have vibration on call Any one plz help in this regard

  • Is that true that the voice is good?

  • Yeah like all European countries!

  • Nice phone camera is superb but needs a proximity sensor

  • Does this phone recognize and play m4a music files (itunes ripped) as well?

  • How to reduce brightness level of screen??

  • very good this model my like have call record

  • Does this phone store More than one number under a name?

  • How connect gprs in this mobile

  • I hate this model Because of it delete my new call log but old call log remain save And sometime shows more than 1 time same number in dialled log And sometimes sim not support It's not a mobile Its garbage box

  • just buy it yesterday, its a good basic phone although i used to see the flashlight at the top instead beside its camera, but still have all that i need for everyday use, nokia for life!

  • Am in Need Of Voice Volume High Segment Phone in Nokia --> Please Let the Hearing Volume ( Voice Volume of Callers)..Boc I Have to Buy For Senior Citizen..

  • I bought this phone today itself, it is a very good phone.Call quality is excellent.Very nice basic phone

  • How about the SMS/messaging capacity? After a number of messages, i should delete some messages? In Nokia X2-02 phone, i never have any problem abou the sms capacity.

  • if Nokia 150 can Surf or FB?

  • No boss,

  • can nokia 150 record video with flash or not ? if, first turn on flashlight and then record video, posible or not ?

  • How to change font size of nokia 150

  • Well, after 12 years of intense usage (demanding work environment) my nokia nokia 1600 died, despite everyone told me not to by nokia something, I will go for the 150, bigger screen, same resilience (hopefully) and the snake. This will be my second phone in my life.

  • STUPID PHONE - There is very big privacy issue in this mobile set. If phone is locked still everyone can read new incoming messages.

  • Nice . Simple . Sleek . Light weight . Very easy to use buttons . Decent battery life . Getting all these for the money paid , is worth . ( pay more and get more features phone )

  • yes! any MP3. Although there is no bluetooth audiogateway.

  • Dabba fone local plstic toys are stronger than this nokia 150.... when mobile slipped from our hands. ......then we get rid of it ...n recollect plastic pieces... Verry poor ring tones altho. 2 ringtones only ...... Finally. .... Nokia lovers dont buy new model nokia phones. ...all are local manufacurings..exa....nokia 216.. 150..130...206. ...etc .............all waste fones

  • Is this phone 3g?

  • Will give 4gb ram 32mp cam . Gameloft game at the price of 2000 rs

  • Can anyone tell me how to Call Record This Fon

  • I have also the same problem :(

  • I have bought this fn on 8th april...after full charging the battery lasts only 4 says. Is it normal.. I have not played any music.

  • Does this phone have call recording option?

  • hi,does dis phn hav vibrating option?? can other phn headsets be used to talk ??

  • The Nokia 150 is currently about the best deal for those of us who only want voice/SMS contact. No internet (no Google spying), no viruses, no nothing beyond talking and texting. It's cheap, light and slim, maybe a bit plasticky in feel. Menus are clear, and the display is bright. The overall loudness level is just sufficient when maxed out, except for the radio, which comes on loud. The 5-way navigation button is sensitive - if you just want to hit "OK" you need to aim for dead center, or you'll go somewhere else. There are no color options, but I guess you can change the background pic by making your own 240x320 (64K colors) and putting it on a micro-SDHC card (which you'll need for photos anyway). Best buy, IMO.

  • Can anyone here share the maximum number of messages inbox for this nokia 150?

  • Thickest comment yet

  • Good phone for secondary phone....looks likes

  • Bought this phone yesterday as a replacement to my damaged Nokia 108. Spec 1. As given in gsmarena page. 2. Has video recording and video playback feature. Pros (compared with Nokia 108) 1. camera has flash which doubles up a torchlight. 2. looks better and weighs less than 108. 3. UI improvements and better display. 4. Micro USB charging only(no data transfer). 5. New game besides snake called nitro racing (only trial version and cannot be deleted). 6. 3.5mm jack. 7. Improvement in music player UI. And can display artworks of songs. Cons 1.Camera flash is worst (produces halo in pictures), no flash for video recording. 2. Loudspeaker output is nowhere as loud as nokia 108. one cannot hear ringtone in noisy environment. 3. Not much ringtone options. Only five ringtones besides nokia tune are available. 4. Moderate quality of earphones, can be used for conversations not for music. 5. Bad quality of snake game. No smooth movement of snake while playing. 6. Only one wallpaper (nokia 108 had 3). No setting to increase or decrease the brightness of display. 7. Only 3gpp videos can be played. Battery backup needs to tested. But is holds charge fairly after making 15 calls (avg time 1-2min).

  • The loudspeaker has low output compared to previous nokia feature phones

  • No, not possible with the 150.

  • I wish to know that can we store multiple numbers under one name.

  • Problem with these phones is less audible sound on call Guys any one have experience with it audible sound on call is OK ? Please tell

  • The 150 doesn't pair for speaking, only for data transfer. It does not have A2DP.

  • How phone cannot to be with car setup its not pairing .....

  • 500

  • How many contacts can save in phone book!

  • Ok, here is the pic from Nokia 150 manual in Slovenian language from Sar section. First info is for SAR at Head and second for body.

  • No, I have this phone and in instruction manual it says SAR is 0,924. If you like I can publish a pic.

  • Ofcourse not!

  • I think that it is better for all of us to read the following article about sar :

  • I checked many websites listing the characteristics of Nokia 150, but NO ONE of them indicates the SAR (specific absorption rate) of this new mobile phone. Do you know it? There is something suspicious in hiding this important indicator.

  • What a coincidence - I have a camera that doesn't make phone calls, so I guess that's useless too...

  • I would like to buy Nokia 150 And i want to use it as Mp3 player I already have Samsung galaxy S6 I just want to know do I get the same sound quality With headphone jack 3.5 in both?

  • Can you please let me know how I transfer contact from others phone to Nokia 150 ?

  • Of course it won't send photo's. It's not intended to. It's a mobile phone, not a smartphone! The Nokia 150 is a brilliant little gem.

  • Does anyone know how to disable contacts view from the sims so that they are only shown from the phone (if possible) as I get them in treble now, phone and two sims. Also is it possible to assign ringtones to individuals from the mSD card and not from those dreadful 4 or 5 tones installed? I expect you can't disable the T9 when using other languages than the set menu language in texts. This phone although a great device, I wouldn't call the op. sys. OS 30+ as it has been stripped bare of essentials. It's more like OS 1+. My old 1112 and 3410 have more settings than this. Does anyone know if the 216 can do all these things so I can move to that one? Any reply will be greatly appreciated.

  • You can not send or receive photos on this phone, which makes it pretty useless!

  • You can not send or receive photos with this phone so therefore it is completely useless

  • Is this phone capable of Sending contacts as text. I have seen this problem in recent Nokia Feature phones. You can only send contacts via Vcard in the 220 and that doesnt work. can anyone please help me understand why

  • You do know that having 3G doesn't break compatibility with 2G, right? At the price you pay for this phone, having 3G would be a given -- it's really not that cheap considering what it has inside.

  • Poor countries only run 2g now !

  • This! Without "HD voice" (as introduced by 3G) these things make no sense and sound really bad to anyone with a 2017 phone. If they miss 3G in the "homage" 3310 then they will be killing the legacy of a classic!

  • Geia sou Niko. I do not own this phone yet but i'm planning to buy it. So i searched & found that it comes with 0,3 VGA megapixel camera that is able to record videos also.

  • can it record video?

  • Sar value 0,924 W/kg

  • Winners are not those who never fail, but those who never quit... I am glad to see Nokia back again...I am feeling grateful for the past of Nokia & i have high expectations for the future. Nokia 150 seems to be a good phone for the start. (i read enough reviews by users already). Generally i think that Retro phones are extremely useful...

  • I'd like to add: the phone can actually delete multiple messages at once through the following options: -all read -inbox -drafts -sent items -screened messages

  • The messages have that Nokia 1100 kind of look...so yeah, single messages. The 'Sent' memory is quite small....if you write long msgs like me, 4-5 of them would fill up its memory, but they delete themself at least. On the other side, if you get a lot of messages (10-15....idk, maybe 30 per day), except to have the full Inbox alert within half a month or less! Then you need to go & delete manually the old ones, one by one. Ofc, this is one weak point for the 150, but its ups make it worth the cash. [e.g: you could get 2-3 days of use with glance screen always on, timed out after 1 hour of not using the phone]. I found glance screen really usfeul while I'm busy and the phone sits on desk couple hours. But you have to go in settings and switch it on, there is no shortcut to it (which sucks again)....but c'mon, you won't get a better value in this range.

  • Hi.....if you are in Ireland, why not call into one of our Hugmie stores...we have these phones for sale...€79

  • I still love NOKIA. I would love to have it.

  • Can anybody tell me about the message inbox function? Is it conversitions or single message. I dont want conversitions because of the small screenn.

  • All you have to do for feature phones is to feel and remember. Phones like Nokia 150 are like an old friend...

  • Nostalgia pays off and Nokia 3310 is coming back to be the second feature phone of Nokia/Hmd after 150. Nokia 3310 managed to gain the best reputation that a phone ever had! Incredible durability, long lasting battery & the best game ever(snake game). Also included the very good games:space impact,Bantumi, pairs 2). The reborn of Nokia 3310 is a great idea. The next chapter of Nokia seems to be the concept of nostalgia. We wish for a successful reborn of old school Nokia phones like 3310. I believe that Nokia 150 is a very good basic phone and it will become historic phone since it is the first that came out from Nokia/Hmd.The only thing i would like to add is that we need phones with many different colours.

  • sar valu

  • Classic style from yesteryear. Would love a 3G version of these

  • Bluetooth headphones don't work because the bluetooth doesn't support A2DP profile. It is disappointing knowing that the previous nokia 216, 222 and 230 did have this function. Returning it to the shop tomorrow.

  • mp3 player, radio, torch long battery =fantastic emergency back up mobile.

  • what the reception like?

  • R u jokeing?

  • because it's not aimed at your market. Making 2G phones with a lower res camera is cheaper to make. This phone is clearly for a cheaper market.

  • Can this run WhatsApp?

  • Interesting phone. However, in the USA, AT&T just turned off the GSM 2G network. What I would really like to see is the same phone with 3G and a much better camera. Why is that so difficult?

  • Nokia feature phones are undoubtedly unbreakable objects (tsunami & earthquake resistant phones)... Stick to the basics...

  • best phons for ever

  • Microsoft sold the Nokia branded feature phone business to FIH mobile (a division of Foxconn) and to HMD (Finland). The two works together & will release the new generation of Nokia feature phones. So Nokia will provide brand & patent licenses to Hmd. But the most important is that they will take a seat on the board of directors of this company so that they can ensure the Known quality of Nokia phones for all upcoming new devices. This means that we can be sure that new feature phones will have excellent quality. Nokia 150 gives good battery, the best game ever(snake),radio fm,torchlight, best design, and Nokia durability. But the most important reason to buy this phone is to gain''peace of mind''... Only feature phones provides peace of mind.

  • No Call Recorder

  • I will never forget phones like Nokia 5210 with rubber shell for extra protection. I also liked the rubber case for protection from dust, humidity etc. of Nokia 5100. Siemens after a few years released M75 with rubber for protection ''in some parts'' of the phone following clearly the idea of Nokia. I like Nokia feature phones and i hope for great variety between the basic phones that they are going to announce soon. As for the Nokia 150 i admit that it is designed perfectly and i like the white coloured phone very much.

  • Nokia 150 released in Uk nd Germany in just 38$

  • You are a person of good taste...

  • Would love them to do a updated version of the e72 qwerty that thing was fantastic in many ways especially for business

  • No

  • People will always buy many mobile phones from different brands in their whole life. They will change very oftenly phones and they will experience the quality of many brands. But one thing is sure. If you ask them after years most of them they'll tell you that their favourite phone of all time is an old Nokia phone! I have used enough smartphones but i have never experienced the triumph on battery that i found in Nokia feature phones. I have found many apps in smartphones but the killer app was the snake game in my old Nokia phones. I never found so beautiful design as i have found in Nokia feature phones. The durability of Nokia basic phones is incredible. I am glad to hear that Nokia 150 is a very good basic phone and that users that already bought it are satisfied. Nokia 150 will bring some good memories back. I hope that will see progress that respects also tradition by Nokia/Hmd. The first steps by Nokia-Hmd seems to be good and that's nice. The only thing i truly miss is a new basic Nokia Qwerty phone.

  • Very informative review that will help a lot of people but i have one question. Are there notes in this feature phone?

  • This is a real little pocket rocket the battery is insane lasts forever Call quality so far is very good no issues for me Loudspeaker and music sounds very good Build quality very nice feels great in the hand Camera is ok, you cannot expect a great one for a phone of this price point Keypad has a nice tactile feel to it, keys seem very well spaced even for my stocky fingers Torch very useful I have found very bright Has the ever popular Snake game on it which brings back old memories Only niggle is they could of put 3G on it maybe HMD will in future models.

  • when this smart phone available in Pakistan...?

  • Nokia #150 is best choice

  • Hola, I bought it from a webstore in Romania. Keep asking the stores if they're gonna bring it soon and be the first who knows what phones are yous getting up there ;) It should take you about 25-30 GBP

  • Where did you buy the phone please? I can find no stockist in the UK

  • Thank you for the informations dude!

  • This is the best phone on the market IMO. Just got it few hours ago (Single SIM/Black). It literally have anything a PHONE should have. Pros: -best-buy overall -light, solid, good grip -15 pins on its removable back panel, so it's freaking amazing and I don't see that plastic flying around at the first drop (unlike many cheap phone those days) -average call quality...it may suck depending on the noise you have around, so turning the loudspeaker would solve it eventually -dat battery, a real monster for this device [B7-5C] (you cand find it in most of the Earth's areas for less than 10$) -500 contacts is the maximum capacity of its phonebook (which is f*cking engough fellaz) -I like the green led beeping when I pull out the battery Lil cons: -the earpiece speaker could be even louder -I didn't got it connected to my Windows 7 machine via a microUSB cable and I'm affraid it's not possible as the phone's circuits detects a different voltage than the excepted one and it cuts down the electricity through -the radio stays on if you disconnect the 3.5 mm jack - and this may result in faster battery drain than usual; so you gotta turn it off, then pull out the jack -I've been used to Android SMS interface, but I gotta go dig this one. Most of the people will get frustrated to go from a smartphone 'packed up' inbox to all-in-one package, that kind of Nokia 1100 inbox if you know what I mean...but in time you'll get through. -the camera could be better, but I didn't bought it for it -it doesn't support WAVs from what I saw, neither MP4's. Hence I'm gonna listen to MP3s only and I'm fine with this -it doesn't have EQ - here I doubt the OS doesn't support this kind of sh!t. But don't be scared, audio is quite decent. I would say a 7/10 for music playback (I had the Nokia 108 before and maybe it sounded better paired with a certain type of on-ear headphones) -no way you can't install apps, which may be a pro for peeps like me (as you don't get any kind of malware/spying stuff ever on such a phone) Smart people buy dumb phones, without internet or the 12h battery 'smart'phone problem.

  • Reasons to get a feature phone. 1.pocket friendly-small size and lightweight 2.don't have to charge the battery all the time because battery life is better 3.Cheaper than smartphones 4.More beautiful than smartphones-uniqueness in design 5.fast texting for messages and notes(physical keyboard) These phones are like saviour machines... 6.durability(less breakable than smartphones) 7.simplicity-everyone can use a feature phone 8.Nokia is back in feature phones business for the next 10 years and i'm sure they'll release indestructible phones as always.I hope they won't disappoint us. Still millions of people uses feature phones and i am one of them...

  • Thank you for reminding us the glorious past of Nokia. My best wishes to Nokia-Hmd for the new effort.

  • Thanks foy your response. Yes, great phones the E series... No more others from nokia. Only cheap with nothing. No money problem (i buy my E52 with $300 nine years ago), but i expect in 2017 a robustly phone, not to large, with good phisical keyboard for fast use, good battery authonomy, at least 1000 contacts, notification led and fast calling wen i need. No touch screen beacouse drain to fast battery... What is so difficult... beacouse i'am sure will have a lot of customers!?

  • E-52 was an excellent phone and it was a candybar business phone with high specs. Generally E-series included many superb business phones. The qwerty line of E-series was my favourite. E52 had for operating system S60 and that is why it was more expensive than Nokia 150. 150 is just a simple feature phone with operating system S30+. So brother you can't expect too much from 150 since it costs only 26$. It's a decent price for a good basic phone but that's it. I 'll buy 150 probably next month for my father because of it's durability. If you need sth more advanced with physical keyboard Nokia said that they will release a series of attractive feature phones and they'll try to regain some important part of the market. I don't think of course that they'll release something so good like E52 but i 'm telling that they will release phones with better specs than Nokia 150 which is a good phone for the basics. Since Gsm arena don't review feature phones it is good for us if someone had already bought this phone to try a review and answer to the questions of all other fellows here. As for you if you need extremely high specs go for a Nokia smartphone and not a feature phone.

  • I use at least 9 years Nokia E52. Great phone, business line from Nokia. I search a lot of time for another phone with the same authonomy of battery and easy way to use. E52 have a very nice feature (predictive name) when i want to call a contact, from home menu (standby screen) just press a key and my phone associated with all contacts who start with letters from this key. For example if i want to call JOHN, just press 5,6,4,6 and list of contacts with john name apear. Have Nokia 150 this feature?

  • combination of Apple , Samsung and Huawei. aint cool !

  • Does it support tethering?

  • 2Nokia Will Nokia Suite be available for this Nokia 150?)

  • Does support whats app?

  • We live in the age of smartphones but that doesn't mean that many people still needs a decent feature phone to rely on. I think that the most important things in a feature phones are: 1.The quality of keyboard so that you can type easily and comfortable. 2.To have a good battery so as not to charge it all the time like smartphones. 3.The voice clarity(clearness). 4.The build quality-durability. 5.Easy to use( operating system easy to use for everybody). All other things i think that comes after the above and with less importance.(design, camera, games, screen size, price etc.) Since feature phones are destined for those who prefer the physical keyboard for typing messages and notes Nokia-Hmd should dare to release a cheap qwerty feature phone and check the amount of sales. Blackberry is a good brand but most of their qwerty devices are expensive. Generally the fruits in the phone market are costly(Apple-Blackberry). So what the market now misses is a low cost qwerty device. I know that times have changed but many young people are going to support even nowdays a Qwerty device. I like Nokia more than every other brand but i also respect Motorola and Blackberry. For the next 10 years the good thing is that Nokia-Hmd will release feature phones and i just hope that they mean feature phones for everybody.(qwerty, candybar, slide, flip style mobile). We are tired of the boring design that smartphones have. All smartphones are almost the same.

  • I don't know dude about that. I'm waiting also like you because probably i am gonna buy this phone. Keep in mind that Nokia-Hmd said they will release a series of attractive feature phones and this is a very good thing because people will have many choices. But let's see and wait because we are only in the beginning... Since then Nokia 150.

  • Thanks a lot. Would it support mp3 ringtones? the Nokia 150..

  • You are welcome. No it doesn't support such apps... It hasn't been released yet but since the Os is S30 plus,i don't give serious chances. The apps that you wrote you won't find them also in Nokia 215 and 216... Search some cheap Microsoft lumia smartphone with 60-70$ if those apps are necessary to you.If you have more money go for android phones by known brands. Otherwise try to find older Nokia feature phones like Nokia 301,208 and generally previews Nokia phones with operating system S40.Those phones have what's app! Nokia 150 is for basic needs such as calling, messages, radio, camera, torchlight, long battery. It also has good loudspeaker, nice design, snake game and of course the durability of Nokia. It will be released very soon but availability depends also by the country so i can't tell you exactly.

  • Thanks a lot for the detailed answer- I think I know which one to buy, it's definitely Nokia 150- but i'll still think between 215 and 216 - THANKS! Now to the Nokia 150 - Does it support 'MP3 Ringtones' and/or SNS apps like Whatsapp, Viber, etc..? AND.. When will it hit the shelves btw?? What date? It's January 12 already..

  • It's better to choose between Nokia 150 and Nokia 216 and not 215. 216 supports java games but if i am not mistaken 215 don't. 216 has almost the same price with 215 but got two cameras instead of one and both with flash. Moreover 216 is a new model. So ask yourself if you need a browser to download games and if you need a camera for selfies. If you don't then go for Nokia 150 which is a cheaper phone. I believe that because it's the first Nokia /Hmd phone it will be a very good one for basic needs.

  • Nokia 150 vs Nokia 215 - which one is better?

  • When will it hit the shelves?? What date? It's January 11 already..

  • No MP3 Ringtones and/or SNS apps like Whatsapp, Viber, etc..?

  • Where can we get one? which country is manufacturing these phones?

  • Whee NOKIA 6 details.....?

  • For better communication e.g. calling by phone, 2G is a proven mode without any doubt. It consumes less power. Covers wider area. So anyone who wants to keep in touch while travelling or going in remote areas where power or signal both are less available, only 2G phones come as survivor.

  • Contacts are not missing but have a limited support for letters which is something different. i am talking like you about Microsoft/Nokia basic phones because Nokia 150 has not be released yet.

  • Since last two years ME have launched bar sumo liar phone 215 216 230 etc. This is even b low them n specs. No use when contacts WhatsApp. Etc are Missing!

  • If you have a phone that can use 3G and 2G you'll find out that 2G gives you better talk time than 3G.Talk time is a very serious matter for many people and that is why they prefer 2G phones or using 2G in a 3g/2g phone. Moreover although 2G is not as fast as 3G it doesn't overheat the battery when you are using internet. One think is for sure: that 2g phones are cheaper than 3g phones. This is also very important for people that want to buy an affordable basic and dirty cheap phone. Price is always very important...and you can forgive because of low prices some disantvantages of 2G. As for the Nokia 150 i think that it will become a succesful phone and it will sell like hot cakes!!! In a few days it will hit the stores... My respect to Nokia and the legendary snake game!

  • 2G pointless? It has wider signal range and uses less power/energy to transmit signal than 3G/4G. It is also where Texting/Calling prioritizes.

  • Nokia should have launched a qwerty Android phone thats what most African users are looking for

  • it is a good phone.

  • Nokia 150 didn't reveal to us many clues about the future plans of Hmd-Nokia in the area of feature phones. We haven't found out if the browser will still be opera mini or there'll be a change in store and browser. We have to wait to see the next phones and find out the answers to the above questions... As for the design it is a mix between 216 and 215-nice one i think but very similar to previous phones. The price is right for Nokia 150 and it will surely sell millions as always. I think that all Ms/Nokia phones were simple and good but the phone with the best performance was Nokia 130.The phone with the best specs thought was definitely Nokia 230 which i am using right now. Many people waits by Nokia/Hmd an advanced version of Nokia 230(to include 3g,wi-fi,whats app).To be honest i wait for a dirty cheap qwerty feature phone. Of course 90% of Nokia fans are waiting for Nokia smartphones. 2017 will be Nokia's big year...So many challenges and so many fans... I trust Nokia and i'm sure that will gain a huge base of fans back again!

  • I love Nokias, back from 5800 days, then S^3 phones. My daughter uses my Nokia N8 still as a camera. But I've always been confused as to why Nokia still produces new model numbers for feature phones, but essentially they are technically the same. No noticeable improvement regarding specs, screen resolution,... cameras are always 3MP or less, connectivity is typically the same.. With app support such as WhatsApp going away for S30/S40 devices soon, where's the value in these phones, compared to older feature phones, which I still see many in Asian markets?

  • There are five basic human needs: Food, sleep, sex, love and last but not least Nokia phones...

  • Nice

  • Yeah! Nice. Please release fast. I want to buy it

  • i cant wait sign me up

  • yes 2g dead, so pointless...imagine talking over 2g ...tin can come back "heloooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • Geez Grampa! have your candy bar phone, most of us need banking on the go now.

  • Many snob people haven't realized yet the importance of such phones as Nokia 150. Of course i don't have anything against them but i totally disagree...and here is why: 1.The strong point of such phones is the long lasting battery that gives you bigger independence. 2.The cost is also a very serious matter.Basic phones are generally cheaper than smartphones. This means that almost everyone can afford feature phones... 3.Another big advantage is the weight because these phones are really lightweight and have a very small size so they fit perfectly in the pocket and in the hand also... 4.Moreover simplicity gives the opportunity to everybody to use easily feature phones. 5.Let's continue by saying that with basic phones you avoid malware attacks which is important for those who care about security issues...Safety comes first... 6.The design is better and feature phones are sexier than smartphones because they are differently designed... 7.Feature phones are better for texting because they have physical keyboard... 8.It is more difficult for feature phones to break because they have small screen size. 9.You don't have to be afraid or to be careful all the time for a feature phone. Usually they are not stealing basic phones and even if an accident happens to your phone it's easier to buy another one instead of buying a smartphone. In my opinion everybody should have at least one feature phone and now we have another chance to support retro phones and feel the nostalgia once again. I think that Nokia makes the best feature phones and soon might reach the top or near the top with smartphones also. Yes you guessed it... I'm gonna buy Nokia 150...

  • Good see Real phones back in bisness, gonna get one.

  • Enuff of this old skool 90s.........omg not even 3g lol all should be 4G now

  • need to improve the screen size and lim the mobile and give nice button soft and give some 128mb ram and give large battery like 1800mah and give some size extra and the screen size must be 6 inches

  • not would have buried s60 s40 aultrough are discontiued they were good

  • When a Nokia phone falls to the floor- it breaks the floor... Nokia phones have stopped bullets and saved human lives!!! Nokia phones are simply indestructible-they can save your money and your life also... Welcome Nokia 150!

  • despirately waiting for nokia.... love its looks, style and strength...

  • Probably Nokia is going to announce one,two or even more feature phones before they announce their smartphones. We don't know if the feature phones will be extremely basic like 105 or something like 230 you mentioned or phones with higher specs than 230. I think that it is possible for Nokia to release a 3g feature phone in the near future. I'm waiting for a qwerty feature phone.I hope so... Nokia 150 is priced reasonably according to it's specs. I think that feature phones are sexier than smartphones and Nokia's design is always the best just like their quality.

  • Please update the Nokia 230 series

  • Tragic phone even for oldies

  • i have nokia 130,and it is in demand, remove camera on this 150 phone and improve other specs, otherwise rest in peace...or maybe consider employing new stuff, especially those guiding you in this department.

  • True but brats nowadays who have no life and stay at their parents basement wants a gimmick phone that lasts 1 day. They should get a field job that requires you constant call/text/mms and be out of office for days/weeks/months.

  • Firstly they are going to introduce (Hmd-Nokia) theirselves to us with some feature phones before they announce probably at the end of February the first two smartphones. As for the two smartphones it is said to have very good specs at very low prices. So prepare for the earthquake! Hmd/Nokia said for Nokia 150 that the phone has clear and lound sound and at this price range the screen is surely the biggest. The rest we all know, radio, legendary snake game, basic camera, physical keypad and of course well built phone... The price is 26$ and i'm conveiced that Nokia have done a great job even in this basic feature phone.I like the white one but i would like this phone to come out in more colours but okay... I'm thinking to buy one for me and one for my father. Have a little more patience and the smartphones will be revealed. Until then let's all play the best game ever by far-yes it is the snake game.

  • I Was Expecting For An Android/SmartPhone For Nokia :/

  • y doesnt nokia launch improved handsets in c2-01,6233,3208c,etc,...?

  • good luck

  • I preferred s40 and s30! On s30+ i found that you couldn't put more than one number under a name! It this is an updated version of s30+ or just the crappy ms version of it? Please bring back s40 nokia such an easy operating system!

  • on which os this mobile will work

  • If it was with wifi, 3g, email and skype like back in the days, it would definitely sell.

  • this is looks great!! but is it like an andorid phone with the option to install applications? waze , whattsap and the rest...?

  • Dreams come true when you are awake and working towards them! Good luck Hmd/Nokia!Wish you the best.

  • Hmd/Nokia wear your red uniform of Santa Claus and bring us a simple qwerty feature phone- good, simple and cheap just like Nokia 150... I really like your candybar phone that you announced and i'm gonna buy and play the perfect snake game but i have a sock empty that waits a nice little qwerty to be filled! I want a white qwerty feature phone just like your beard...

  • After the success of Microsoft/Nokia 130-Nokia 105 and Nokia 215,Hmd/Nokia decided to release Nokia 150. These phones are not made to make an impression but are strictly necessary for many people.People are calling this kind of phones workhorses because of long battery, also the hard use that can take and of course the durability... Nokia 150 is lightweight, and it will fit easily in everypocket. It targets to help the fans of fast texting because of the physical keyboard. The screen is big for the price of the phone -considering it costs only 26$.(almost given free). The design is exactly the same with 216 and that means it's beautiful. I liked very much the icon of the snake game in the menu. That was a good idea by Hmd/Nokia.Nostalgia and respect. In my humble opinion feature phones are necessary for almost everyone. Everyone must have at least one...Easy to use and cheap phones. Nokia is the most experienced corporation in the area of feature phones and every phone by Nokia is extremely good. I like Nokia 150.

  • This phone is exactly the same like 215 ,220 and others from last 3-4 years... Why they do this...

  • My nokia 6303 from 2009 its 110% betther that this phone!

  • can anyone tell me how much messages can this phone store? I want unlimited messaging storage.

  • And that is what is necessary.... Good old fashioned phones for SMS and Phone calls only... Four additional features along with it: 1. Rear Camera (5MP Max) - Selfie capability not required 2. WiFi Capability 3. WhatsApp preinstalled 4. FM Radio Rest of it is all crap!! And for on-the-go usage, you have your SMS and Phone Calls.

  • You are right, but at least if every single tech is made in china at low cost so they can improve a little bit for feature standard phones specifications that is what am talking about

  • I do understand but you did not understand what I meant. I was talking about Smart not Feature phone which I hope it will be made in Finland just like old days. I know feature phone will be made in China no issue

  • you are talking about US only and some EU contries, a lot of 3rd world countries with mass that cannot afford smartphones are the target by FoxConn since HMD will be focusing on 4G/ LTE / voLTE network, others are still stuck on 2G, you are correct tho that they could've done better but well ,we are talking about FoxConn, they always limit themselves, if you know what I mean

  • that's right, that's the issue about FoxConn, just because they are not allowed to do smartphones, they stuck their noses on these very low-end feature phones, which is literally confusing a lot of clowns hating Nokia without enough nfo on what is happening with HMD and FoxConn

  • Because carriers are starting to drop 2G support and you'll have worse covarege without it. And because call quality is better with 3G too.

  • Yes this is a Foxcon Nokia. And yes they are only allowed to make feature phones. But that doesn't excuse the fact that you can make a pretty damn good touch screen feature phone these day. Let's hope Hmd get it right first time.

  • well, they are not a joke as you do, you have 2 Nokias that are working with the free-world right now if you understood what I said, the phone is lacking a lot of features so why bother put a 3G capability on it? psh typical warrior

  • did you even understand what I said? FoxConn Nokia are in-charge of these types of phones so it means it will be MADE IN CHANA, not smartphones, it is not HMD or Nokia-Finland's problem if their partner on the other end is not producing better feature phones

  • This phone is the first small piece of a puzzle that Hmd/Nokia will continue to create for the next 10 years.Nokia 150 is part of something new! Nokia 130 costs 23$(1.8''screen-no camera) and Nokia 105(1.4''screen-no camera)costs 21$. Both have smaller screen size than Nokia 150 which is preferable because with 26$ you have 2.4''screen and camera...So the price is reasonable. To be honest i think that the best offer came from Nokia/Microsoft and i mean the Nokia 216. With 216 you can download games.Morever it has 2 cameras. It costs 39$. Nokia is the king of feature phones and variety is a very good thing. There were only slight changes with Microsoft/Nokia between all feature phones... We are curious to see the strategy of Hmd/Nokia.Are there gonna be any surprices? Will we see a cheap qwerty feature phone or something else? This is the beginning of a new journey and everyone want the new smartphones to be revealed at February. Have patience and always remember that Nokia means quality...

  • Why does it have to be 1.4cm thick? That's too thick.

  • Aaaaaaand...Nokia is still making phones with physical keyboards and a screen resolution 240p.

  • Good phone for listening to music, call and not leading a smartfone outside with a lack of battery charge

  • Welcome

  • They're making huge money by releasing same type handsets?? Boring..

  • You are doing a mistake again. Nokia 150 isn't priced 35$ as you write but it is priced 26$.

  • 216 Nokia MS recently launched much better memory, 2 flashes, colour Mint. All exclusive to 216. 150 is minus features, still priced 35$. Go for 216 much better with microsd card up to 256gb.

  • Welcome Back..

  • Nokia thinks about every single people who can have a good quality phone in utmost lowest cost. China assembles nokia phone so that people can have the ability to buy it. If it is from other country many may not have the ability to buy such phone. So wheather it is china or finland doesnt matter.

  • Boss Is Back

  • When was Nokia king in the modern world? They were only a king when there were no smartphones and even then they were just the Apple of phones - people liked they for no good reason and they always gave the leafor the money. Motorola, Ericsson and Sony, Alcatel - they were all ahead of them. Just not in market share.

  • This phone's battery will really last longer because of the absence of a browser. Better than the Nokia 105. I'll surely buy one for myself as a secondary phone.

  • Nokia, the king has returned from the grave.... Apple will fail.... Reason being the need for a 10-year old companionship is greater than the need for a 2-3 year old companionship...

  • They are not allowed to use 3G too? Face it, "Nokia" is a joke. It was a joke when it really was Nokia and it is the same joke now as the fake Nokia.

  • If you say so. At least improve the feature phone with micro sim instead of old mini sim and so on. If it is gonna be in Nokia Finland, hope the lable will not be made in China LOL

  • Nokia E52 Nokia X3-02 -

  • keyboard warriors, is it so hard to understand that these feature phones are FoxConn-based and the smartphones will be from Nokia-Finland themselves with HMD? is it? or you are just cussing the mobile king? :3

  • which one is better, a safe phone or a grenade phone? keep thinking bruh

  • BL-5C battery return, a Legendary!!!

  • If your into texting/calling/mms/basic stuff then Nokia can last days or weeks before it runs out juice. Most importantly it doesn't burn and explode for a cheap budget phone compared to a low quality over priced junk shamsung.

  • you also write no video recorder but i think Nokia 150 except from photos can also capture videos.

  • clowns keep complaining, this is the FoxConn-type Nokia, they are not allowed to release smartphones, only feature phones, smartphones will be based from Nokia-Finland

  • Another HighEnd by Nokia No thinking/no hearing/no seeing Absolutely Nokia 150 is perfect, over!

  • What ever hatters gonna say it dosent matter. Nokia will still make these phones ;)

  • too bad it is only 900/1800 mhz, why not quadband? 850,900, 1800,1900

  • which one is better? 1/10 or 9/10

  • Oh no please no

  • Nokia 150 miles ahead of S7 edge..

  • Why is this removable battery. I want non removable :p

  • Wanna stay off grid? Then this is the phone for you. Wanna plan for proapocalypse or zombie invasion? Then this is the phone for ya.

  • yeah? but nonetheless))) what prevent developers, insert browser? long ago in 2005, I had very, very simple phone Siemens C75. But C75 had browser))) and could even record video

  • nokia is is better that the galaxy LOL

  • Basic Mobile, No Fetures

  • I think change your CEO

  • Which one is better. nokia 150 or samsug note 7 ?

  • what do you expect? Its a phone for calling

  • Nokia needs to think beyond theses type mobile

  • No Browser ? rly? I hope it can be manually install browser. just that phone is worse than Nokia 215

  • just give it WLAN and Whatsapp and you have a WINNER!!!!

  • I think nokia should develop back the s40 ui which is more functionalÂ…
