  • I don't have a problem with it at all. When the messages are full you can just delete one message or the complete conversation string. It's a great phone.

  • To be honest this small mobile ( I use it for 3 years ) is really handy. Maybe -and suddenly - u r in de " Stone Age " but I charge this phone once in 1 week and talk about 3 days on it. 3 days counting the hours of course. On our days no smart phone can do this and the wifi, 2g, 3G, 4 and even 5G is not yet so far to achieve this performance. For a smart phone everybody is paying between 10 to 50 times the price. Good for the business but not for the consumer. We are "cash cow's" for those companies .

  • DON'T BUY THIS PHONE, it's absolute rubbish, it has no messaging capacity or facility to delete old messages instead it tells me that the maximum number of messages have been reached when I have only two conversations in progress! it's preventing me sending & receiving texts, texts also arrive three days after they have sent!! My phone is still under warranty so contacted Nokia and there is no help or support from them whatsoever.

Calendar reminders are very limited(5 only). Doesn't play most of the type of files. Once you buy this set, I am sure you will look for another mobile shortly. This set is a scam by Nokia. Charging interface is pathetic, USB only.

  • microSD, up to 64 GB It works. I put a fat32 64gb book microsd card and was possible to boot computer from it ( Multiboot setup 7 , 10 , dlcboot with acronis live10x86 live10x64 etc , and various programs and utilities. Phone + usb cable = setup and sos cdroms for pc

  • Worst Nokia I ever had: - Doesn't auto connect to car bluetooth - Doesn't have ability to transfer contacts from other Nokias - No Java - Turns on when not asked to - Very little amount of SMS message memory - overflown all the time and I barely use SMS - On first run connects to Microsoft servers, no way to dismiss that - Ultra crappy ringtones. All 5 of them. Seriously, a beep would be better. - Counter-intuitive even after a year of using. Generally feels like using a ~2005 Samsung or Alcatel. Using the Nokia brand for this abomination should be forbidden.

  • Got this from tesco direct on Friday .Pay as you go, but unlike other pay as you go phones I've had didn't have any credit on the sim, so couldn't reg it .My wife had to get credit for it with her phone which,luckily was also tesco.What use is a phone without credit?why wasn't I informed at point of sale?or better still increase the price and include credit.Add to that the camera won't work without a SD card and there isn't one them either.So be warned if you buy one pay as you go, you will have to spend some extra cash if you want to use it

  • Thanks to Microsoft. Just their ownership is sufficient. Set hangs while playing with Opera browser. You have to remove battery to reset mobile phone.

  • Continuation to the Sept 12, 2016 comment by me.. Good phone for people who prefer to stay on phone calls for a long time. occasional texting and good battery life. I using phone on a single charge and done one Sept 11, and its still going good. Almost 4 days now and I'm still running with a little less than half the charge. Amazing battery backup. Uses the old original Nokia BL-5C battery, which is a relief. Above all, a good music player, given the painful fact that you have to browse each folder one after the other with lot of button presses, a trade off, but gives a good sound quality with headsets on. All in all, a good basic phone worth the price. PS: I haven't checked anything else with the phone like bing, facebook or messenger, so I have not included them in comments.

  • Apart from the fact you can only put about 2 pics on this phone so you will require a memory card if you need to take photos. Compact and user friendly it's a budget phone no frills it won't support watsapp because it's basic but it's reliable and if you were to loose it or brake it it only costs £20 to buy another one not £500 as some silly people would pay .

  • Very happy to have bought this phone, the green one with very fresh looks, after long deliberation I replaced my old c3 01 touch phone that i loved and hated, which lasted me 6 years. I wanted no more touch screen and this is perfect, no swipe , no more holding it and finding out you connected to opera or whatever, no more going back and forth, but spot on every time with thr 215. It feels wonderful in your hand with soft,rubber buttons. Because its a little thicker than my old 10 mm c3 it actually is easier to hold, also when calling. Great mp3 player, you can browse your songs by map, by using the sides of scroll button, and very good sound, I bought a second one to hook it on my receiver, as a mp3 player only. Pretty easy to transfer files by the sd card, but nokia will use a different order of your songs, which I havent worked out. Very long audio play back time. Building quality is reasonable, feels very solid yet light, but its not as heavily built as my old aluminium c3 01. Using it , menus and lay out is all good and clean, a breeze to handle. Very long stand by time. Very good call quality and reception. I recommend this phone when you' re looking for cool design and easy to use, reliable and durable phone for good call quality and good mp3 player. Lots of love

  • No there is no call recording option.. It has a recording option while using fm station thats it. We can save only 100 sms. There is no multi contact saving option. You can only save a single mobile number for a single contact other then that u cant save email or b'day options.

I contacted microsoft support centre they asked me to replace the handset from the retail shop from where i purchased it because nokia 215 is non serviceable device in tamilnadu and so i have to replace. I went to retail shop but they are refusing to replace it and asking me to go to local nokia service centre.   • Before 2 months i bought this mobile for my mom. I really regret for buying it. The music player audio volume is not loud, we have keep full ring volume for calls otherwise it wont hear, while we type numbers for dailing it wont show suggested numbers from contact memory (this is a very basic feature available in all mobiles), another one problem which i faced is the memory card inside the phone gets undetectable frequently. To get the memory card option again, i have to switch off & on the phone and have to set ringtones for both sim cards and wallpaper again. Please dont go for it.

There was a karbonn mobile in our house before this that was too good in terms of volume and battery and also Rs.500 less priced then this. And also facing another 1 problem, the memory card option automatically gets off even though the memory card is present in the mobile.   • Hello! I am Van from the Philippines, I encourage you not to buy this phone my friends. I bought this 3 days ago and found out that the SMS memory is low as it only holds 150 messages. I tried to buy an 8gb micro SD card but still the messages are stored in phone memory. You cannot also set the storage for the SMS from phone to micro SD. I tried to bring back the unit to the nokia center where I bought the same. The owner tried other units but all the units available in their store are the same. I have been using nokia basic phones in the past but this is the only unit that i bought that does not allow to store messages more that 150. May all of you be guided by my experience.   • After using it for two weeks, I find that Nokia 215 is terribly under-performing, music player hangs,mobile hangs, opera mini repeatedly reinstalls, lags no more a con of smartphone-yes, nokia 215 is superbly laggy at times and I tell you I regret buying this now after thoroughly studying the best Cheapest phone in the market ;I browsed about it, literally researched-all beacause i wanted to give this to my mom. My mom went to a nearby shop and asked the salesman to give a good phone and he gave her 'karbon k 106s', half the price of Nokia 215,but double performance, seriously ,for all features, you won't regret if you buy it . Now it isn't fair to go without mention my fav advantages, battery is excellent,if normal use,u can get four days -three days ,and if heavy use with internet usage exceeding 4 hours a day, it can last more than 2 days although, only opera mini is available, apps not installable as nothing is showing in app market, which is a down side. Music functions are too good, you can press two keys ;right and left of the middle keys in locked screen to play next song and previous songs, similarly many functions are employed for best navigation . But after all, with too much lagging, it cannot be considered as a worth even though it is a MICROSOFT PRODUCT. Buy karbon instead, All features are there like in Nokia , Music, Memory card upto8gb ,but in nokia,it is upto 32 or 64 if you can tolerate perfect lagging in a entry-level-cheap-phone. Video playable, screen is smaller which is not noticeable, Call blocking, Dual sim functions, Internet function-yes it can browse but don't expect for miracles, Never lags Does that title it apple of cheapest mobiles.

  • The Nokia 215 uses the same basic MP3 player as all the other cheap Nokias, so they all work the same way. You can play by folder. (Left & Right buttons to select folder. Up & Down buttons to select files inside.) You CANNOT shuffle playback inside the folder. Shuffle will mix ALL the MP3s. Since audiobooks play files in order, just name them correctly to make it work. (Put a 001, 002, 003, etc in front of the filenames.)

  • No other major defects. Fonts color can't be changed. It will be white. I hate white fonts on the home screen coz any good wallpaper u put it, the white fonts is bright enough to eclipse ur wallpaper. I will go to the store again for camera issue. Make sure you check the camera focus before u buy. It should be straight. It doesn't have edge. Today, the manufacturers want to eliminate the basic phone market by pushing the customers to buy smartphones. Thats why they deliberately puuting less features & low quality on basic phones. For example, Nokia 112 is a series 40 phone had 1400mah battery @ same price 3 years ago. Now, nokia has 215, 220 & 225 all series 30 phones. The only problem i found is i can't change font color. Rest is fine. If u want a basic phone with camera, then go for this(but check that the camera focus is not tilted before u buy). If u don't want camera, then buy nokia 130, because it is small. Nokia 215 is as big as 4 inch smartphone. For a basic phone, i prefer small & light. Unfortunately, i prefered 215 over 130 only for camera & it turned out to be a tilted camera.

I am using warid sim on roming in Saudia arabia and it is very expensive to each time send a sms while roming.

  • bring 720x720 resolution, with 200/+ ppi anti-glare, avoid primary and add a 1.5-2mp secondary camera, whatsapp should work, a good media player should be there, and recording facility, up to ram around 128mb, radio broadcast and if possible tv tuning for dd national channels[if its free and legal]-if all these are available, i will buy it for even 4k and if a 3mp primary cam with led flash could be added, i would definitely buy it for 5k, go with cheaper boards, or custom made from mediatek or so.

One important confused is that I choose Sim 2 for Internet through Setting- Connectivity-Mobile Data Connection, as there is 3G Net Pack that was used for my dongle but Internet data charged from my Sim1 main balance also.   • Cons about this phone- 1. Auto keypad lock, not able to set lock timing. 2. Torch light not upto mark. 3. Image cannot zoom. 4. Unable to install app. 5. Slow internet, it might due to our local airtel network. 6. Image and video file list display only text not image or video scene. 7. Keypad hard to press not handy. 8. Email not support. 9. No Youtube, but don't expect smooth streaming at this budget edge phone. 10. No pre-installed games for time pass. Pros- 1. Affordable @ 2200 at NPD Imphal as on 23 Feb 15. 2. Large display, but litte lag or blur on video playback. 3. Slim and lightweight as compared to nokia 114. 4. Glance screen. 5. Good battery backup. 6. Camera quality is very good for 0.3MP. 7.   • Nice speed. With very low keypad noise "tik tik". No voice leakage. 2G working good. But speaker volume is not upto the mark. But one can live with it. Its nice package in thus price. Battery i havent charged it yet in 3 days so far.

  • well im a die-hard nokia user eversince 5110 good-old days un til to the last nokia i bought...a nokia x...abd then it just faded away from me nokia....upgrade myself to android phones for viewing videos, simple games, listening to its music etc....believe me im still using nokia e6 and e5 respectively as my main call and text phone. i still got a nokia 6303i(as a collectors item)...and then there is this new nokia 215 which i am raring to have one secondary/spare phone...so i will wait for this to come to the philippines and absolutely to buy one!!!
