Nokia 3310 3G - User Reviews

  • Having lot of problem downloading things

  • The phone is brilliant. Only Issue I have had is the charging port in the handset. Usually takes numerous attempts to get the plug in exactly the right position for connectivity and having said that it's very much hit and miss. Hopefully Nokia will replace the phone under warranty.

  • i can not access my sim contact on my 3310, please what shud i do

  • Thanks a lot:-)

  • yes u can

  • Can you use an ordinary apple headset with the 3310 3G for calling? I don't mean the wireless type but the old ordinary wired type. Can someone in here test this for me?

  • Were you able to overcome this issue?

  • This is a very bed phone.youtub did not wark many time, saw oparation faild.prosasor poor. Very small own mamory.

  • this phone for me is 7/10 advantage -can install, play java games -decent and longer battery capacity -brightness adjustment -it comes a flashlight for emergency purposes and comfortable t9 keypad cons -message center is messy and it can't adjust even font size -lack of sim contact list support -preinstalled apps still can't uninstall same with s40 phones -unorganized menu all installed apps are in menu and it can't make folder just like in symbian/s60 phones and messy music player all musics are not included in playlist, you need go to file manager in memory card to play your favorite songs -not a stereo fm radio and it can't delete the fm stations that you don't want to listen that -and of most of all very buggy os ever i'm former user of nokia c1-01 and s40 is my favorite os alongside with android i'm happy of this phone becuase of supporting java apps you don't complain that this phone doesn't have emoji! you use android or ios instead!

  • I'm having the same issue. At the first call inn or out, the voice is distorted and brakes up. At the second call, the issue disappears. This happens only in 3g mode.

  • Yey! They bringed back the classic! I'm happy with this!

  • Why can't it read my microSD 16GB Samsung...?

  • Truth is, I have never been happy with any phone since my first Nokia.. This one leaves icons on the home screen you can't remove, these are for games that aren't really any good anyway... The internet experience is not great but the mp3 is ok... I really need to get away from data consuming smartphones and at least this once does the basics well, it should not try to do apps though, they are a waste of time, whatever limited ones you can download....

  • u may try to practize everytime saying 'watz up' using 3310 3G than simply say 'helo' to your contacts if it does not support d application.

  • Terrible phone this one keeps freezing on wallpaper and won't let me bring menu up until I reboot the thing, voice calls are terrible quality, loud speaker is weak an tinny I just get frustrated with it and wanna chuck it at the wall. The 2g version OS imo is a lot better I had that no probs at all only a weak loud speaker gave that to sister.

  • I am facing issues with new nokia 3310 dual sim phone. It has poor network. voice breaks up on phone call. The other person cannot hear my words clearly what i am saying. earlier i had nokia 230 and i never faced network or calling issues with that phone but with new nokia 3310 calling somebody is so frustrating.

  • any nokia feature phone with s40 operating system is far better then this hand set.compare a nokia 208 or 301 with 3310, far superior.

  • This is the best phone on the planet. I dare anyone to find me a better phone.

  • Can this thing run whatsapp?

  • Yes, that's my reason to discover app installed in 3310 3g but no note is pre installed, I have ssearch web to find java "note" app. , the bad thing you can't sent your notes to any other phone using bluetooth

  • You can text and drive easier using T9.. don't need to watch yourself typing, and can one hand text.

  • Does this nokia 3310 3g have speed dial? and say, i have incoming message can i set it off? just like the old nokia 3310 model. Thanks a lot

  • Yes there is (I don't see why you'd want it on a phone with a T9 keypad though)

  • to back up smses and contacts go to settings / storage / create backup

  • 2. and 3. I have exact same issues. I can't find any way to save sms messages to the main phone memory or to the SD card I added. Somewhere I read there is a limit of 200 saved messages (not contacts) - not sure if that's correct but I suspect so, which is ridiculous. Since I started getting the 'sms memory full' message I also have unpredictable deletions and old messages changing to the current date. I really like the size of the phone and good battery but the sms memory is a real problem.

  • Yes, it has flight mode.

  • Like the colour as easy to find in handbag but fed up with it dropping out in middle of conversations. Is it 3G or 2.5G in N.Z.as mentioned in some reports.

  • Hi, are there text note app?

  • I agree. This is a very basic phone

  • what do you expect from a low end budget phone????

  • i just bought it,it has a serious flaw, you can't chose a ringtone for the double sims (one ring for the two) ,there's no icons that indict that you are connecting with data or not..also the facebook &twitter ap of opera navigator is ridiculous and outdated ,the navigation touch is too hard to push, camera pics aren't good, need to improve this

  • the phone does run java apps quite well... i run an ereader, memopad and a few java games on mine.

  • Very nice phone worth the price.

  • What lets this phone down is the poor software. I know it's a feature phone but the software is poor. If you add words to the dictionary, they are forgot if the phone is switched off. If you fill up an SD card with mp3s the music app will only find some of your music, yet the files program finds them all. If there is a limit to how much music you can put on to an sd card please state in the user manual. You can't adjust the font size in the browser yet there is a setting for it that doesn't work. If these glitches could be fixed then the phone would be great. As it is, it is ok and you have to use accordingly.

  • The phone itself is a problem!

  • I have a problem with this phone, immediately after a call, I cannot make another call. Need to wait for a minute or more to make/get a call. Also, i see the signal strength is not there where I get full signal on the same network on other phones. Anyone faced this issue? Any fix available?

  • It doesn't come with either Facebook or Twitter. Mine didn't anyway. If yours does I wouldn't worry. The apps won't work properly anyway, if at all

  • Can you uninstall, disable or hide certain apps? Such as Twitter and Facebook.

  • Very true

  • A lot of people keep complaining about the phones lack of Emoji support and Whatsapp not existing. Let me start with the fact that this is not a smartphone, if you want an Android or iOS phone, this is not for you. If you want to Basic phone, please read on. Pros: -Excellent battery life -Snake -Camera is very good, best 2MP camera I have had -Colour display is very good -Ring tone is loud -Connectivity is good -Comes in yellow -Good memory -Very easy to use Cons: -Too loud when using headphones -People get annoyed if you are text too much when you leave the keyboard sound on. (Its a loud phone) -Doesn't support all images I send from my other phone. Even though it supports Jpeg and they are all Jpegs. -Lack of Russian language pack when bought in UK. Been using a Latin version of Russian to text. You can get Russian language but you have to got to an official Nokia retailer, and all the ones in the UK know nothing about the phones they are selling. Be aware if you speak a non western European language. Over all a very good phone. Would recommend. 9/10 (Would be 10/10 if I could get Russian put on it)

  • A lot of people here are complaining about no Emoji support or Whatsapp. So let me start with the fact it is not a smartphone, so I am not going to compare it to one. Pros: Excellent battery life

  • No emoji support in messaging. Hw sad.

  • Battery is not as good as the old original 3310 gsm phone.

  • Per contact.

  • Stop negative comments nokia 3310 3g is a very good phone and this is not smartphone, but for everyday use its ok and easy to use nokia is nokia

  • *for me this 1200mAh batt works like 4000+mAh THE MAIN REASON I BOUGHT THIS ON-THE-GO PHONE :3 *one strange thing when using the OPERA browser ... everything stops when the unit detects the 3G signal *the unlock/power button's strangely inconvenient to use :3 *ditch the bundled earphones (sounds scratchy) *yeah JAVA game's good & still alive depending upon the network provider

  • What's app is a no no. As for the SMS memory issue, maybe this phone is a no no too

  • Hi people, I have a few questions on this phone, after using it for 3-4 months: 1. Someone here said that whatsapp can be installed on it - do you know how? where? because I tried it a lot and it didn't work. 2. When I turn on the phone, some of the sms messages get the time and date of now (the time I turned the phone), and it causes a lot of mess in the messages. Someone heard about it? 3. The sms memory is very small, and after a few days I get messages of "sms memory is full", altough I have a sd card. I didn't find any setting of saving messages in the sd card. Help from someone?

  • Yes support whatsapp, viber and facebook

  • no

  • Does nokia 3310 support whatsapp?

  • pleas help! Does this phone will come on sri lanka ?

  • I can confirm that the 3G version does support Java. Save the java file (.JAR or .JAD) on the phone or memory card, then use the file explorer to find and install it. Java apps are installed right to the phone's main menu.

  • Bro, 4g version supports android based yun os, definitely android based os doesn't supports java in any situation, 2g version too doesn't supports java, only 3g version support java. you can go for it

  • Sounds like you don't have a clue how to use it

  • Brilliant love it I also have 2g version also

  • Interestingly this phone is not running Nokia Series 30+ anymore, instead the OS is called Java-powered Smart Feature OS. Also, the SoC is now Spreadtrum SC7701B instead of the MediaTek MT6260 used in Nokia 3310 2G version. I wonder if we will see any Symbian series 30+ featurephones anymore?

  • Is this phone support flight mode? Thanx for the info

  • How is this with text messages? all in per contact or per message?

  • Yes it will work on Australia's networks.

  • Can anyone let me know if this phone works in Australia? Does it support the Australian bandwidths? Or is there a special version for Australia?

  • I do know a phone, BLU Tank II T193. That supports FM without source-input. Plus it has 16 GB of internal storage too

  • Does it has same poor quality of audio from headphones like 3310 (2G) or is it better? Plz reply quick...

  • Anyone having one, please tell me does ot has same distorted and poor Headphones quality like the 3310 (2G)? Or is it better than that... Plz reply soon as I've to quickly make a decision

  • It's a fine phone, but they made some weird decisions with the design: - Unlocking the phone puts you in the main menu instead of on the main screen with the wallpaper, like you'd expect. This makes the cool customizable main screen shortcuts (for the left and right buttons) kind of useless. - The games are IN THE MAIN MENU, not in a separate games folder. This is annoying, but most of the time you won't scroll down that far into the menu, so you won't see them. - Volume adjustment is really not intuitive. The easiest way to do it short of going into the settings is to hold down the # key, which brings up a useful dialog for adjusting various common settings. TIP - this is also the only way to turn on predictive text! I've only used it for 1 day so far, will update with more later.

  • Yes, It does!

  • No, it will not support any app like uber. If Uber supports web based (browser) ride booking then it will work. Otherwise no. Make sure you really know your requirement before buying. This is good phone to use as secondary but not as a smart phone. So do know what you are buying please.

  • Anyone who have this knows the max capacity of the inbox before it stops receiving any messages?

  • does it support whatsapp

  • I really want to buy this phone since I heard of it. Can you answer a question? Is it possible to access Uber webpage with this phone?

  • I have this phone, and it supports java completely, I install apps and use them and everything works. Please change this property, because I looked on your site before I bought the phone and I thought it really doesn't have java support, until I checked it with someone had this phone. Please fix it, Thank you.

  • The navigation keys not working out of menu in model ta1006

  • nope..its cannot whatsapp..this dont have android os..but u can use facebook and twitter in opera

  • If you want android version go nokia2..do not expect from basic phone take smartphone..i getting weird with someone who want highest spec but want low price..every price have the unique quality..BTW samsung have fliphone with android version.u may like that

  • Internal memory in my 3310 3g ta-1006 only 32 MB.

  • Thanks for your info. I would like to take this phone travelling with me all over the world -- would it work in the US, Australia, Asia and Europe? Thanks!

  • I think its a outstanding phone!

  • What a piece of crap. I've always had a nokia as a work phone but this is by far the least user friendly phone that I have ever used. All my previous nokia phones were easy to use, reliable and hardy. This has a mind of its own even when locked and its painfully impractical. Never again....its going in the bin for something easier to use.

  • I would say 4-days is typical, (based on the 4-band variant TA-1036 with a SIM & 32GB flash card in it), when in my backpack skiing - it was more like 2-days. When you see the size of the battery - this is not too surprising. ... Maybe there is scope for HMD (or a 3-party), to come up a much thicker battery, and a deeper rear cover to accommodate it ?

  • I have a 3310 3G,am hard of hearing. The max volume is 9 which is too low for me.Can the hand set hearing volume be increased?

  • No wifi tethering?

  • How many total contacts can you save on it? Can you save multiple numbers with a single entry/name?

  • So I bought this in November 2017. And guess what?! After 3 months, it is acting up weird. One moment all keys do not function and another time it keeps doing things without touching it like, flashlight turning on or dialling random numbers. I can't believe it will have issues as such. I already hard reset or factory setting reset it and it still acts up from time to time. So it has become unreliable. I am so frustrated.

  • No it isn't sorry

  • Is it possible to make internet calls? whatsapp viber telegram whatever...

  • Flaw on 3G version: Fm radio app quality not good. Date time not possible to auto set, and loose time infos after put out battery for a moment. No possible to switch profile from main menu, neither exist that inside setting. camera/image viewer bad quality. For me 3G not really work.. in france, when i surf on web, the network switch each time to H... network, so seems useless here. But with its good revolutionary improved UI design and full complet functonality in the basic functionalities, this is a mature phone, and the best Basic phone in the market

  • I just checked and the 3G model and it allows 3 numbers. 1 Home, 1 Mobile, and 1 Office.

  • hi i have the older version (2G) of this phone and i love it, the only problem is that it has a limit of only one number for each contact anyone knows if the 3G version has the same limit or not ?

  • Do you launch nokia 6310i

  • The Nokia 3310 IS BACK for 3G or Nokia 3310 2017 Pls I want this phone but it isn't Android It is a feature phone.

  • i even heard it support whatsapp

  • I am waiting to see the new Asha line-up by Nokia/Hmd. I have used Nokia Asha 303 (Qwerty-touch & type phone) and my impressions were very positive...

  • Good day im sales consultant @one of the vodacom stores and i sold Nokia 3310 3g but i have realize that it cant take whats up so what can i do about this.

  • lol

  • Unlike older Nokia feature phones (e.g. C1-02), the 3310 3G has no Bluetooth modem profile, so it's not possible to use it as a modem to connect a laptop or other device to the Internet (very handy feature, in some situations). It also looks like there is an error in the technical info (which seem to be widespread online). The dual SIM model (aka TA-1006) is NOT quad-band! There are two single-SIM models (TA-1022 and TA-1036), and the latter is quad-band. See the table here (data from Bluetooth certification):

  • how many long number call list,,,60 or 120 or than less,,,, plz any one infrom me,,,bcoz I want buy this phone,,,😎

  • how many long number call list,,,60 or 120 or than less,,,, plz any one infrom me,,,bcoz I want buy this phone,,,😎

  • Great for the fact that you can put more than one number under a name. However why dies it unlock to the menu and not the main screen. Why does Nokia change that? Also the d pad doesn't have any use in the main screen. What? Four buttons lost. Anyone know hw to change this? This feature OS needs updating. Not sure why they had to change series 30+. Personally i think they should bring back s40 and you might find whatsapp will continue support. With talk of the 4g version using a different os will this see any update? Shame as another wasted opportunity

  • Nokia/Hmd is opening a new chapter for feature phones. ''Smart'' feature phones are on the way...

  • Battery is BL-4UL , not BL-5C

  • Nice idea,he will never get bored with iPhone indeed 'cause he will have to sue Apple all the time for slowing his phone. In fact he will be extremely busy pressing charges against the fruit of sin. I am waiting for 2018 line-up by Nokia/Hmd...

  • you just purchase Iphone so you cant bore

  • Yes Nokia expands the 3310 family with a new member-Nokia 4G is coming with Yun Os. We are waiting to be informed by Nokia/Hmd where this device will be available(countries) and some more details about the exact capabilities of this phone.

  • care to let us know if the 2G version of the nokia 3310 runs java or not? in exchange i'll tell you whether the 3G version runs java or not.

  • is nokia 3310 has a 4g connection ( so i can use Email thru it)? that is my dream because i am boring from the smart phones

  • in my case, the available phone memory from the first time with the very new sim card is 2.6 MB out of 32.6 MB. And the stand by time is only about 10 days. Somebody has this experience also? I bought is for 32 euro (discounted price)

  • thanks for the info. unfortunately in our region the 2G version is available only. Rumours suggesting that the 4G version will launch in here. if that 4G version support jar. or java file or apps then will definitely buy this phone.

  • Nokia 3310 4G with Yun OS is another option.

  • bought the single sim quad band model TA-1036 at best buy. will be taking it overseas.

  • It depends on your region. In Australia JB Hi-Fi sell it and I think Harvey Norman do too

  • All good. I never knew older feature phones like the Sony you described could do that

  • the 2011 sonyericsson j108/cedar dumbphone usb-shares internet with computer, that's why i ask for this one released in 2017.

  • it's a good phone for me. does anyone know where I can buy the single sim model (TA-1036)?

  • This is a dumb phone, you cannot to my knowledge do Internet sharing

  • Is this phone whatsap capable

  • i'd like to know if internet sharing (gprs/edge/hspa) is possible with this phone on computer using usb/bluetooth. also if it's possible to enable/disable computer usb charging.

  • This phone will never get an update

  • Ha ha... I've never heard about any release on official hardware update. LOL!!!

  • I bought nokia 3310. It is 2g phone. Will it update in 3g?

  • you can backup your contacts and smses to your sd card. settings/storage/ create backup.

  • No

  • Big Yes, you may install .jad or .jar file format on this. But some big file size app won't run on it

  • Messages are threaded actually, but I am not certain as to the capacity.

  • can anyone tell me waht is the sms capacity? also how to save msgs in phone or sd card not on sim? thanks

  • It does have opera mini 4.4

  • It does have like a tick icon on the battery when it is fully charged already. Also it has notification at top "remove usb blah to save power" of sort

  • It does have 3G. Your carrier must support 3G and also check area coverage

  • It does have more than 1 number under each name. Also you can choose 2G only for your network preference

  • no sir

  • the tick is inside the battery full icon. once you disconnect from power source, the tick will disappear immediately.

  • uhm, where can i see the small tick in indicator? because the battery icon is full but i dont know if it is full charge or still charging

  • does it support whatsapp??

  • I bought this phone for some sense of nostalgia and it did remind me of the old days. After checking out its features I discovered you can still install java apps. I downloaded Opera Mini 8, Opera's last java browser, and it did install and function, though it was hard for the eyes because I'm no longer used to the small screen. It even had video streaming when I browsed YouTube but the video output was t an extremely low resolution.

  • Does this phone have FM without headphones or can anyone suggest phone having such feature. Thanks

  • How many sms can be stored ..... Storage for sms

  • yes, can add individual photo to a contact

  • Can we add individual photo to phonebook?

  • there will be a small tick in the battery icon when fully charged

  • Yes, for every name in phonebook there is up to three numbers (mobile, home, office) end one e-mail address.

  • Can someone confirm? Does this have more than one number under a name? A massive limitation of the serues 30+ and also can you turn 3g off as 2g has longer battery life. But at least with the 3g version i can use 3 or if 2g is switched off i can move over to it. Many thanks

  • This phone don't support VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) - information from Nokia.

  • It is very beautiful mobile but their internet speed ir very very slow. 3g net is not used by this mobile phone. it only by named 3g mobile

  • Nokia should realize feature phone era is over.

  • Another bad design you don't know when it's fully charged... if you disconnect the charger it says...not fully charged, but mine doesn't say when its fully charged!!

  • No front facing cam in 3g, what is it? R v going to back stage?

  • I know how to do the sound but a £12 phone you press the hash key it goes to mute.. But this Nokia I thought it would have done same for its price...thanks anyway

  • By now, you and many others, would be well and truly aware of the popularity of the "consumer is the product" business model, similarly employed by "do-no-evil" mega-corporations such as google, apple, et al. A truly "retro" model 3310 3G would be without this bloat. All that the 3310 3G phone should do is... function, and to perform as well as an OLD 3310. Unfortunately, it DOES NOT. Yes, I do believe an "Anonymous" individual would try to ask for "more proof" or to simply shame a critical observation as an "over-reaction" Obviously, Nokia does not want to be left behind in the behavioural and analytical revenue generation game.

  • "-EULA Agreement equates to potential/suspected Data Theft/Harvesting software of one form or another to being present in this phone" Can you elaborate on this one and exactly state what is harvested? Often people like you are overreacting.

  • Is it have voice tag for voice calling, the best feature of old Nokia 3310, 6230i e.t.c ?

  • To get Silent Mode, hold Hash Key/Pound Key (#) down for 3 seconds. Select volume. Push LEFT until volume level counts down 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Beep then SILENT. All done, your 3310 3G is now in Silent.

  • No fonts small or big func.no go to funct.

  • Wasn't this phone meant to come with Opera Mini? For shame

  • never ever 27 days standbye ! mine maybe 5 days....

  • Is it have equalizer in music

  • Shame it got no silent mode like on a cheap phone!?!... I have a Note 4... 3310 3G just a backup phone!... I wanted just 3310, but carphone said won't work with a contract sim even to just make calls and texts, so had to get 3310 3G, could be a con!?!

  • A big no on that one

  • can it do whatsapp?

  • I will begin with NEGATIVES -EULA Agreement equates to potential/suspected Data Theft/Harvesting software of one form or another to being present in this phone -Full Disclaimer, Clicking Agree required to set this thing up - SIM card size is 3FF -Fat Finger Button Size -Pushing Menu Star (*) you have to count to two before it actually lets you in. -Once you are in the menus are a bit lagging -The deeper you go in "files" , the slower the phone goes. -No way to PC Suite the Contacts data, instead it has Bluetooth Sync with Android Contacts -"hit and miss" movie playback capability, some .mp4 work, some .avi work -Small movies seem to work more often -Cell Info doesn't work but this may be because I only used one companies SIM POSITIVES -Very Bright Torch -LOUD cool ringtone -Countdown Timer needs a label name before it can activate although it works really well -Negative Effect in the camera settings -Hash Key Shortcuts are cool -Will accept a 64Gb size Micro SD CONCLUSION Bigger slower dumber, I think we will never see the days of really fast button phones which the user is in FULL CONTROL ever again. Pervasive surveillance spyware and Data Harvesting took over while we were sleeping and we are stuck in a world with phones controlling us, instead of us controlling the phones. Maybe one day will revolutionize, but do not hold your breath

  • Who says they'll be a 4G version? The 3G functionality means it can be sold in markets where the 2G network has been shut off. That's the reason they released this new model. It wasn't to allow more data intensive uses such as streaming video or using WhatsApp. If anything 3G reduces one of it's key selling points with talk time reduced from 22 hours to 6.5 hours due to 3G battery drain! This is a feature phone so why would 4G be necessary? I'd rather they upgrade the Calendar to allow more than 25 entries, automatic deletion of events after a month and some import/export functionality! Is that to much to ask? The Nokia 3220 (2006) had a far better Calendar. I'm speaking from experience with the Nokia 3310 2G version but no one has said the Calendar has been upgraded on the 3G version!

  • hello friends, i want to know that hows display experience during watching videos?? i have nokia x2-01. is it better to switch this phone? plz reply.

  • Well , this had a potential to be the perfect second phone. I have a Note8 and a business phone which I don't use other to accept calls. The only thing needed from the second phone would be to have excellent battery and mobile hotspot, which as I understand, this phone doesn't have. Simply lose the camera, add the wifi hotspot only, nobody is asking for 300MBPS LTE, but 40-50Mbps would be awesome.

  • I bought the 3310 3G less than a week ago and I noticed that the battery drains fast and at the same time heats up even when all apps are closed. Could this be a factory defect? Otherwise, it's a good backup phone.

  • calendar is horrendous. can only input about 15 entries before schedule is full message. can record radio

  • internal 64mb and sd card up to 32GB?! lol

  • Can anyone tell me real life battery expend of Nokia 3310 (3G) plzzzz???

  • Yes it has. The same as smart phones - the text conversations are grouped by the name/number of the person you are talking with.

  • No one is going to use a camera from a FEATURE PHONE as their main camera. And I can easily say the same thing with the Sony Ericsson W995 and C905. Even though they have 8MP cameras. The thing is, a good camera on a feature phone is pointless.

  • Bad camera? You should see the cameras on the fake versions that has been going around... XD Everybody's a critic...

  • Finally someone who is talking sense. =) Much better than those who kept comparing Apples to Oranges...

  • You should watch the Youtube videos of the old versus new NOKIA 3310 drop test! =D

  • Because refurbished is just that: Refurbished = not new = not a new model Either you like the new Nokia 3310 or you don't, that's about it. Haters going to hate, especially that we come a REALLY long way since the simple phones days when people ACTUALLY look at people & not at their "make-me-dumb" smartphones... XD

  • If it's 4G it won't be called 3310 then... xD Indeed a pity that it cannot accommodate Android's WhatsApp in anyway...

  • has this got a threaded SMS feature?

  • i love nokia 3310

  • What languages are available in setting?

  • WhatsApp?

  • can we use whatsapp in it

  • anyone knows; if this phone has the option to download and play java apps?

  • Are there whtsapp in it?

  • Are there whtsapp in it?

  • Thaiföld OS is java based, because of this IT probably Support.

  • feel like 15 years old phone

  • same here friend. my age is 20 and I also like this type of phones for just calling and frequent messaging. most of my friends having smartphones also carry this type of phone. in this smartphone era still this type of phones are surviving. i still miss those java apps for nokia s40 mobiles. hope they will introduce something like those.

  • dose it support java games answer please.if it support then only i would buy

  • doesn't every company? Samsung Apple Huawei Lg Oppo love to make money. Thats why they sell phones

  • i buy that if got whatsapp

  • I agree I would love to have this phone....just the other day I was saying that I miss my old Nokia when life was much simpler....just to get away from the buzz of the world and constant alerts from a smart phone....

  • Yeah. Hmd is greedily wants to make money while licensing Nokia brand m

  • how many phone number can we memorise in its phone book ?

  • Does it have pre-installed whatsapp. How about considering a qwerty keypad phone?

  • old bluetooth

  • Too expensive, for old school phone, not smartphone

  • Really good datasheet

  • Good Specification

  • no profiles,wtf

  • should partner with whatsapp to support this feature os

  • should add wifi

  • they should have added wifi to it since its 3G.

  • still no wifi.

  • Feature Os is java powered

  • so it should have java ... which in specs says no ? java apps were good far days

  • why ? why ? why im dying .. I need to buy this before I die T__T

  • Nokia is using an operating system that it is called ''Feature Os''(Java based) instead of S30+. It includes Customisable user interface and also themes... Of course the best thing about new 3310 is that it is a 3G device. I don't expect any huge changes but i am glad they have refreshed some basic things. Colours are excellent and 3310 is also stylish but the phone isn't so''fair-priced''... Headphone jack fortunately is here while many smartphones don't got it. All colours are excellent but i ''vote'' for the Azure one... There are opposite types of phone users and i think that Nokia /Hmd should release a Qwerty phone as a tribute to E-series... So many masterpieces:E90,E7,E72...etc.

  • I am not shure, but my nokia asha 302 can use like hotspot for laptop, but only if you have 8.1 windows or belove, win 10 is not supported.

  • I disagree. There are alot of people looking for a simpler phone that is just for texting and calling, and doesn't have touchscreen. And no, those people are not all old people, I'm 25 and would love this phone. I don't need a smartphone. If I need an application, I use my computer, same if I need internet. This "lel gotta be connected 24/7" meme needs to die.

  • Anybody know it supports bluetooth tethering?

  • This Nokia 3310 3G version was made based on the request of many people. Please do some research before commenting dude.

  • Can it be used as mobile internet hotspot for the laptop?

  • No, sorry, WhatsApp is only supporting iOS, Android, and Windows Phone now.

  • Many people want a dumbphone, not everyone wants your stupid touch smart phones. Those things suck.

  • I personally hope I can get one of these in Canada. I'm in my mid 20s and I do not like smartphones at all, was forced to get a Android Phone, and absolutely hate touchscreen! This phone right here is a phone made for people who do more than screw around with their phones all day. Honestly, I'd pay $200 for a phone like this because this is how phones should be made, not this smartphone trash that's popular today.

  • I have two iPhones - personal and work. I am ready to sell my personal iPhone and get the 3310. There's a huge demand for phones of people who are ready to be less connected.

  • WhatsApp application use this phone?

  • People will buy this for fun, that is about it. Try using it as the only phone and they will go back to their real phones pretty quickly and give this to their dogs to chew on.

  • They are realeasing a 4g version for India market,GSM NEwS,look it up !

  • Need a phone to make and receive calls. If the quality of the audio is good, quality of the speakers good, quality of hardware good, battery life is excellent, sms can be send and receive, Design is excellent the resolution of the screen is above average I think this Nokia 3310 is an EXCELLENT backup phone to use with the SMART PHONE which I do I use a IPhone SE and having the Nokia 3310 as my reserve phone which it’s help me a lot. Has a Superb Battry Life and a SUPERB ATTRACION FOR THE DESIGN. I REALLY LIKE THIS PHONE.

  • Can we sync contact with gmail?

  • heh...im sory for you

  • is this phone available in india? anyone bought this?

  • Why so BAD CAMERA? Good phone, but should have at least 5MP camera, but would not mind if would have even better camera, then it would be ideal phone to use.

  • are the contacts multiple entry? how many tel. numbers could be stored per contact? can birthdays, email, address be stored in the contacts too?

  • It would be awesome! especially xpress music series.

  • Nokia S40 are the main phones that I use, but I could not buy the 2017 model because it was not quad-band. But now I will get it :-) The other feature I am sad about being removed is voice dialing :-( I use that often while driving.

  • Nokia had always unique ideas and for me Nokia is still the best but if you remember dude N-Gage failed against Nintendo... Design was perfect, the idea was perfect but the keyboard didn't help the situation a lot. Gamers were complaining... As for the 3310 3G at last we have a nice 3G feature phone by Nokia with a few changes in the user interface so as not to get bored. My only objection is the price but on the other hand i know that Nokia phones are extremely durable. I also like the colours of 3310 3G very much... If they reduce the price just a little bit i am going to buy it because i need a 3G feature phone by Nokia/Hmd.

  • Hahahahhahaha "3G"!! Even 3rd world countries rock 4G these days.

  • a totally unnecassary feature for a backup phone. should have just made a 2.8" screen version. and perhaps bigger internal memory. heck camera and bluetooth is isn't even necessary. just the good old 3310 but with bigger screen for us aging people. kids nowadays aren't buying this for nostalgia's sake. it's us older people.

  • "Specs are outdated, should have latest Snapdragon, 41 MP camera, 16 GB Ram, 2 TB Storage. Only then I will buy this handset." - 90% of GSMA commenters

  • I think if you can develop N-Gage for screen and applicate as android/iOS, it will be better. I miss N-Gage!

  • Who'll buy this sh*t in 90' €uros?

  • Will buy this phone, once available in Singapore

  • Really... you wanted to use this phone for wifi calling? what? you wanted to go video calling I guess? it would have been ridiculous. imagine seeing a person using this kind of phone and making video calls. if you use smartphone it would be understandable, and less awkward. XD I really don't get why you all people here cry for WIFI. go get yourself a smartphone.

  • I think the reason why its just 3g is because 4g is mostly for internet and obviously this phone is not meant for internet connection, this phone is just for calls and text. a lot of people have separate phones for use, example : car phone, emergency phone, business phone, and all other stuff.. if this 3310 would have been wifi certified.. would customer's really consider buying this device other than the smartphones? come on guys. don't be stupid -_-

  • no wifi? it's useless. There's not many things we can do with a non-android / iOS hone in these days so it's not worthy to spend our costly data with this phone

  • No matter if its a basic phone or flagship, Nokia's signature blunder will be there most of the time. Speaker on the back of the phone.

  • Useless ********. Just get a Nokia 6630, Nokia 6700 classic, Nokia 2730, Nokia C2-01, Nokia N86, Nokia N95, Nokia 301, Nokia 515, Nokia C3-01, Nokia X3-02 or Nokia Asha 300.

  • Bad that the covers are not exchangeable with the other 3310, cause it looks different. Plus the dimensions are different as well. I am still happy with my Nokia 3310 2017 with 2G only, it's proven to be very sturdy and a good phone for simple calls and texts.

  • useless 3g, this phone have no secondary camera for video calling and no wifi

  • The messages are threaded. There is no inbox/outbox. You obviously never used the phone...

  • your one of the reason why the company have a lot of basher without any reason too. just go out here and go to your phone brand.

  • Yes and games of thrones!! Haha

  • is there anyone who can tell if this phone supports pdf files or not?

  • It would be even better if HMD developed N Gage with android gamers, also express music android like nokia trend at that time.

  • Instead of saying "Phonebook - yes", specify how many entries it has. Some people need to know.

  • Is it possible replay yt videos on this phone?

  • lets not complicate things, first who can still live with inbox and outbox sent messages? make it THREAD messaging and we can move forward...

  • can the phone do WhatsApp now? because without it is still nonsense

  • *i mean the price

  • why no WiFi? because with this the cost is more expensive, at least reaching Rp 1.3 million in Indonesia

  • Who even needs dumbphones in 2017. I would rather buy refurbished old decent Nokia dumbphone

  • They already have a couple... Nokia 3, 5, 6, 8, 9... how many do you want?

  • Finally, a Facebook killer. People will lift up their heads again.

  • it will be better if this model got 4G with volte and wifi. at least user can use it as 4g wireless hotspot.

  • No 6G....!?? Even 5.5G...!??? Damn...lol

  • bring back nokia 6310i!

  • 64MB internal storage? atleast 3GB for APPS purpose. 3G is a good point for low budget, for the internal storage... If there have a good reason to say about 64MB to convince customer to buy. I am ready to listen

  • Would have been nicer to have Android and Wi-Fi onboard XD

  • They have, it's called Nokia 3

  • Why not make an android version with Wi-Fi now that will get my attention listen to the public HMD Nokia or your ship will sink again

  • why not directly 4g hahaha

  • 2 steps forward 1 step back. finally adds 3g, and quadband 2g (in dual sim version at least) doesn't add wifi

  • Nokia is in silly people's hand... very sad. I haven't heard of that HMD or Nokia itself ever tried to listen to the market... never. They are spoiling it further..

  • Because wifi is cheaper than paying data.

  • a phone that is like a pocket wifi COOL .. o.O

  • lol... what is HMD Nokia thinking?... If anything, this device should have WLAN/HOTSPOT... It's almost useless without it... When i think of Nokia 3310 3g, I imagine a feature phone with portable hotspot capabilties... You can easily get an android phone for the price of this device if you solely want an internet capable device...

  • why this needs wifi?

  • in 2017 3g ??? heh...nokia...you are dead

  • When will be the release the Nokia 3310 4G?

  • lol... what is HMD Nokia thinking?... If anything, this device should have WLAN/HOTSPOT... It's almost useless without it... When i think of Nokia 3310 3g, I imagine a feature phone with portable hotspot capabilties... You can easily get an android phone for the price of this device if you solely want an internet capable device...

  • Maybe they add 5 or 8 mpix camera and wifi as well. Hope so. It will make much more people interested.

  • WiFi support would have been welcome.

  • The single SIM version doesn't support any American 3G frequency bands. It would be no better here than the 3310 2G. The dual SIM version is missing T-Mobile's 1700Mhz frequency band, but might be passable on AT&T. Americans would be well advised to wait for the 4G version.

  • I'm gonna wait for 3310 4G
