When we were given a Nokia Care call in Namakkal, we were advised to bring Salem. If you go there, the motherboard is broken. Since the motherboard is not available, they can not be corrected. Unless this service is available for other smartphones, it is very sad. The question of whether Nokia should buy the phone is now in my mind.

Had the 925.1 since release and it's been the best phone I've ever had. Having problems with glithching recently after dropping it down the pan, but still doing a job. Cheers for the tip JayV, it sorts it every time. Shame the new Nokias don't seem to be as good.

I think key combination for softboot is Volume down+Power Key.. try that. My power button has stopped working so I have found a way to open back cover by inserting something in headphone jack and pushing it back( removes cover slightly and then carefully the full cover)...so I remove battery connection and fix it again...works for me.... if not possible ...u try with some repair center.. good luck

Hi, I am in so love with this phone that I cant to live without it. I have using this phone for a long long time without any issues. Last night suddenly the phone has stopped working. Initially the screen got hanged up and later on when I reboot the phone using power and volume Up key the welcome window screen didn't proceed and the phone automatically restarted several times and stuck on the blue windows screen. Now the phone is not rebooting and neither charging :( Can anyone have an idea what has happened to it all of a sudden? I dint open any site no nothing at all. Please help! Thanks in Advance.

Friend first bring that mobile no to your call register list, then hold on to the particular contact number 3 to 5 second then you could see one small window that having block option. Try.... Because more than 10 numbers I blocked the same way., or if u want to unblock use same way.

I have been using this since more than 2 years. It still works so fast. Great camera, many features in camera. Slow motion video, camera 360 is a greatest app. Cinematic camera app is the best one. Wireless charging too..AMOLED screen gives better view in direct sun light, it fell around 15-20 times from my hand and bed still no breakage nor any scratches on the glass. Works faster than the android phone. Pure view lenses helps take good pictures even at night with very low light. I am just loving this phone. No phones are as good as this one. I don't even prefer to use I phone latest phone. The only concern I have is about the OS. I hope no companies should stop supporting their apps for OS 8.1. Rating from 1-10, I give 9.99. What else can we expect from a phone that was released in the mid of 2013. Great isn't it??

They said motherboard has problem and buying a new motherboard will cost same as buying a new phone so better buy a new phone. It looks nice but not worth to buy for not even 2 yrs

@nick Same thing happend to me, I own this phone from december 2013, and this month get brick, no hard reset work, no Noika care suit work, just showing up as QLoad Usb, when its plug to computer, It looks battery wont charging, but when its happened batery were on 60%. It looks like 925 have only two to three years of lifetime. I like this phone cuz its best camera phone, and you can drop it on the floor, no scratchees, no broken glass, but dont know inside. Negative is youtube (microsoft vs google fight) video lag and sometimes freezing even on non youtube streaming videos. Now, I dont wanna spend money for just two years period phone as waranty non sense, so I go for LG 5 for good camera.

It died in less than 2 years of use... Been caring it so much, it looks perfect on the outside but few days ago it just shut down and shows no signs of life. Tried the Windows Device Recovery but it doesnt recocnize it, shown as qsusb_dload, with the Thor2 Im getting the error MSG_SEND_RECEIVE_FAILED. If anyone has fixed it please reply to this comment.

hi bro what is yr Rom local ? check yr connection. and check yr Microsoft account and region. then go to > settings > phone update > press "check for update". i think u can get DENIM update. dont forget that u need a highspeed net and full charged battery! and some phone when they are working on update they will be very hot! be careful to make that cool and refrigerate!!! i hope yr problem will solve!

I installed the update for windows 10 and caused huge problems, no longer would connect to wifi. Spent hours on tech line and they had me hold the down volume key and the power key for 15 seconds and then release and not touch for 20 ,minutes. That allowed wifi again.

its not tht simple to update ur phone in tht state.. bcoz its just like mine too mybe even worse then yours bcoz my wp freeze and go to deep sleep plus i cant use my on/off button to shutdown my wp screen off and if id shut it down it will work if i press the on/off button long but it automatically restart it self.. so the way of how i update my phone to win 10.. i make a soft reset then a hard reset.. after all of it done i installed the windows insider so u can receive and see an option there.. i hope i can help ya.. im from malaysia ^_^

An all together good package. This phone is top notch. Only problem I had was it froze on me one day, and the only solution was to disconnect the battery. That got her started but then I had no signal. Sent to nokia for repair, but out of warranty wanted €65 to repair. I declined, on later investigation I discovered that on removing the back cover I had inadvertently disconnected antenna connector. Reconnected it, phone back to normal. This has wrecked my relationship with nokia/microsoft. Am now moved to android...reluctantly as I WAS a big windows fan.

The Nokia Lumia 925.1 is not a reliable phone. The life of the phone that I used was less than two 2 years. The phone started to go slow immediately after one year (out of warranty period) and then the phone just hung one day and refused to start. The microsoft repair centre declared the motherboard defective (saying "this defect happens" ) quoted a repair price which is almost the price of a new phone with better features & hardware. An expensive phone like the Lumia 925.1 should be more durable & reliable, hence please think twice before you buy the 925 or other Lumia phones and keep the life expectancy (less than two years) in mind when you decide to buy this phone.

Nope Don't go for any 512MB Ram devices or any phone with less than QS400 processing power.. I am using this phone from last 2 years now.. its a great phone but Microsoft wont give Windows 10 Mobile on this phone.. so it will stay in 8.1.. & soon all the application will end their support for 8.1 & move on with W10M.. so ultimately Don't buy it.

turn off the background apps,when over heating give it some time mines was doing the same thing,u can also put battery saver mode usually some apps take alot of the battery percentage its best to not stay on them for too long.

The display is very very sharp and the side metal frame gives solid look. 8 MP purview camera on windows denim with touch focus beats even galaxy S4 camera. The picture quality is awesome. Phone is light weight and slickest among all lumia phones. It is better in low light photography and beats its own rivals 920, 820 devices.

As for the Design, weight and display they are so good ... Let me talk about the cons : after 3 months from buying this phone, a problem with the loudspeaker Mic appeared, so I cannot use loudspeaker, I cannot record videos because of the faulty mic ... I thought maybe it's my bad because it fell down many times however after checking reviews it seemed like a problem that everyone suffered from . Then my screen cracked, I fixed it .... after a while ( 1 year and a half) the phone started freezing and lagging and all I am doing is hard resets over and over until today ... its dead and doesn't respond to anything even to the charger ... was a good phone I loved it, but the mic issue was so frustrating, also the store in WindowsPhone is so poor or let me say you won't be able to share same apps as your friends using iOS and Android. of course facebook, whatsapp and twitter are common, but not snapchat for example.... and this goes for all windows phone devices.

Weekly transfer your Phone & Whats app things(Saved Photos & Videos) to your desktop. 3. At-lest make 4GB Free out 16 GB in your phone. 4. Weekly Delete temporary files in phone storage. 5. End All background programs. In Use Background apps, only 2 apps running( Whats app or Emails or Facebook or true callers). 6. Don't active Cortana or Location service unnecessary, it drains battery very fast. 7. Switch off your phone at nights only, at-least 5-6 hrs in a day. 8. Use less live tiles on the start screen. 9. Switch of glance screen. 10. Always update your phone when available. 11. Minimize your sound options. Only active ringtones or reminders. Don't active vibration or lock screen or key press or camera shutter or system alert sound, or any extra sounds in your phone. 12. Always make sure after using NFC or BLUETOOTH switch it off asap your job done. 13. Always make your brightness level in low. 14. Make sure your sun readability option is off as well. 15. While listening music make your phone in airplane mode ON. 16. Avoid long conversations in phone. 17. Avoid sync your Facebook contact. 18. Friends this phone has 1GB RAM only and its 2 years old by now. So try to avoid multitasking while listening music. If your doing whats app do whats app. If your playing music, just play music. I am a windows phone user from 2005. The best one I had was MIO Mitac which I ‎still usable. Then I bought an LG WP7 which went bust after two years. In May 2014 ‎I bought Lumia 925. I've had this Lumia 925 for 18 months. After the first year it ‎began shutting down or freezing for no reason at all. two weeks ago it went ‎completely dead. Hard reset; leaving in charge for 12 hours, I tried everything. No ‎response. Sent it to the shop. Came back in exactly the same shape. totally dead. ‎When putting to charge the windows sign lights for half a second and that's it. No ‎response at all. The same is when attaching to computer. Light is on for two seconds ‎and that's it. totally dead. Disappointed. Don't even want to send to shop once more.‎

I purchased a store demo model off eBay for $50 off eBay. Brand new but with a little burn in on the screen from constant operation in the t mobile store. However, I love the phone. Have had it for about 3 months now. I have previously had a Lumia 800, 2 900's, a Galaxy S5, and iPhone 5s. The simplicity, HERE apps, camera, and sunlight readability are all I need for now. Nokia is doing(did) a great job.

I've had this phone for two years almost, and it just stopped working today. Took it to the service. Fingers crossed! Why? Because I love it! It's easy to use, it has such great technical qualities, it's light, beautiful, the screen just never scratches - it's unbreakable, unlike androids, it's menu is clear and simple, the camera is amazing - yesterday I was at this seminar and took a picture of a slide from a distance - and everything is readable! I mean, it's quality is just nice, and the desing, oh, the menu - everything is very tastefully done. And I really miss it. And even I am kind of supposed to have a new phone, cause, you know, it's old, I DON"T WANT TO! I was even looking for phones today - and all I could find was a cacophony in their systems, designs and stuff. I might sound too excited, but, guys, I love this phone. It's really my little helper - the best smartphone I ever had. And I would never switch to Androids - as I said, cacophony in every phone. Nope :)

I hate windows mobiles. app store is extremely not enough.it has no useful apps.internet browsing is horrible (most online videos and video formats cant playable).file downloading is a great horrible. it haven't good file manager. i think if you want a smartphone experience you should choose a android phone. most of windows phones are very expensive than android phones and they has not good performance.however i think nokia phones have a great camera and very very attractive interface but i think if you can choose a Android or ios phone it will be good..

My experiences with the battery on my Lumia 920 were ok, not the best but certainly not the worst. I think the same will count for the 925. About the 730/735, it has newer hardware. But Windows proved to run smoothly on older hardware as well, and my Lumia 1020 runs still as smooth as two years ago. And if design is a big aspect on which phone you want, the 925 is more the looker of the two... in ny opinion. The update to Windows 10 Mobile will come available, but not sure when.

There were a bit less battery life and also heating issues (obviously related) in W8. All together the phone worked better @W8 and was much more stable, over a year 8.1 has improved a lot but still W8 was much more reliable. I love the metal border, without it the phone would probably in pieces already.

I got mine for almost a year, and its works great. Fast,beautiful, nice screen. The only problem i have with my 925 is heating. But then again i dont mind as long as it works. Also, battery is not the best. You have to charge it almost every day. But you have to charge evey smart phone like that, so it doesnt really matter. Great phone.

As a media device this is a very good choice but as an actual phone to make & take calls on it's bad. I have been using mobiles from various manufacturers since 1998 and this is the first phone that drops calls on a regular basis. It would put me off buying another Nokia or Lumia or Microsoft branded phone. Don't walk - run away !!

I have 925.1. After 1 year and 8 months, the speakerphone is dead. I am to have it serviced. I got for my girlfriend some Vodafone edition (925.4 - 16GB): bad decision - it shuts down or reboots unexpectedly. Also the displayed screen gets shifted at times so part of the top screen is mirrored at the bottom. The camera is great. Adding Photoshop Express, one can get really nice pictures. The GPS is fast and driving with offline Here Maps is good enough. However, just following audio indication is not enough: you have to look at the screen to get an idea of what you are supposed to do. The iGO 8 on my old Win 6.5 was better. This does not even support intermediary stops, so it could become a pain to decide on gas station on a highway. The battery life is not good but also not bad. Probably this is the average these days. Conclusion: I would say the separate parts are great (GPS, camera, software), but putting them all together one also needs the special "luck" part.

It was a okay phone for the first year of my usage, now it has become the worst phone I had ever used, basically have continues signal issues. The phone always display one coverage bar or no coverage, when restarted it will be OK for few minutes then the same problem comes again. I did tried all kinds of resetting and restoring, without any use, only waste of time.

Usually Lumias never run slow. I have lumia 1320 and it works well (1,7 GHz x2). Even youtube reviewers recommend that phone. Believe me, windows phone platform is the best out there :)

I have a 925 lumia too, here is my use : get down to original windowsphone version by using lumia recovery tool > install windows insider (find it on store) > check update > comeback to phone update > update 2 times from original 8.1 to 8.1 update 2 (stop here). Enable battery saver and you have about 1 - 1.5 days not worrying about battery entire working day! remember disable double tap to wake and auto-brightness, make sure brightness level about low to medium.

If available then download it but its about 496 MB so atleast 1.5 GB phone memory must be free for smooth update and battery must be fully charged. Dear, update your phone to Lumia denim, this update came to Lumia 925 specially to tackle with freezing issues. The update is available and about 500 MB only on Wi-Fi, phone memory 1.5 gb must be free before update installation.

This is a great phone....windows apps are getting better too. I put down a Galaxy S4 for this phone, and was very surprised. The camera is great, and so many nice camera apps. With 5 mp less than the Galaxy the camera is a knockout!!! Also, with less apps than Android, you can spend time actually speaking to others, instead of playing games.

Great little phone, only issues I have had are with intermittent GPS, but it was a refurnished model, so their you go! It's a beautiful phone, my partner got an iphone 6 and we compared them, the 925 was the equal if not better in every test. They have very similar specs. The biggest flaw is windows phone itself, it's getting there and is the best operating system in your hand out and about, but the quality of apps is often behind the curve and it lacks some of the rich feature set of android phones. Apple is apple and the feature sets are similar, but apple chooses to restrict them, while windows is trying to catch up. I have an android phone S3, but it's my 925 that I use, but sometimes the s3 is pulled out to do the bits windows phone can't like DLNA!

No, it's not. That's probably beacause you're not using the original charger or the cable might be in bad shape. If you're not using original, check on the mAh that holds, that's what makes difference.

Worse phone, damn regret buying this, power button not workin and hence cant restart phone, camera blackout(cant work), always hang(freeze), have to reset the whole phone(but because the power button not working so cant reset, I have this broke down power button after few day warranty had passed, fu**). I sent to the nokia centre for repair after few week of usage because the whole phone hang and freeze(the power button is still working fine), I got it back after 1 MONTH. They won't replace it with a new phone, they just repair it. It cant even perform what a basic phone should be performing, I cant receive call and message until after few hour passed it tell me I have how many missed call and stuff, I don't know i have this "cant receive call" problem until I was working part time and my supervisor cannot contact me and I nearly get into big trouble. Then the price is expensive. Expensive price for a rubbish phone.

Hi. I would like to give information to those who experience heating problem and battery drain for this very good mobile phone. I've experience the same problem when I bought the unit, within 24 hours after I bought the unit, I've experience heating and battery drain that in less than 24 hours I've charged the phone 3-4 times if I'm not mistaken. Then I went to the shop where I bought the unit to have it replaced (7 days replacement warranty), which they did. I did several tests on the shop, it seems okay but when I got home, like my previous experience, It heats up, and battery drains fast. After few hours of research on the internet, this is what I did with the unit: Update the software using Lumia Software Recovery Tool. Then I switch off applications running on back ground, from email settings(sync manually), to other settings that is running on background (goto battery saver under settings, then goto usage, don't allow apps that's allowed to run on background (specially if its not important),don't participate on feedback to nokia (disable it), you can also turn off glance (i don't find it necessary in my case). That's what I did. Right now normal call and text, watching movies and listening to mp3 and few hours on internet my phone's battery life is 1 day and 20 hours. Hope this works on your unit. Background running apps must be stopped. That's all. :-)

It's not like you have any other options. Too risky doing yourself, getting a phone repairer is also risky cause they can be using fake parts and usually aren't liable if something goes wrong.

In my opinion, the blame of all the mess in lumia phones is to be put on Microsoft! All the Nokia phones I owned before Lumia came to be were perfect(3310; 3210; 6233; E5). It is a real mess, believe me! Even some features described in the user's guide are nowhere to be found on the phone. Take for example the sub-menue INTERNET SHARING, which is supposed to come between EMAIL ACCOUNTS and LOCK SCREEN, is missing. As a result, you cannot use your Lumia 925 as a Wifi hot spot for sharing! So many apps cannot be installed. You just receive a message telling you that the app is not supported by your device! If you haven't bought a Lumia phone, please don't!

Hi there, I owend a L925 and its been 6 months now.from my experience one thing i can tell u that if u never owned windows phn n want to hv one then do not go for WP phn it will disappoint u from almost evry side other than the camera and the offline map feature. it produces too much heat even on lite use and while playing high graphics game like Asphalt 8 or Fifa after 20 min it becomes like BBQ chicken.However, if u use this phn only for lite use like making calls sending txt or email and listening music then its fine. last of all I would say that bloody microsoft was not supposed to go for smartphone they r lagging behind far away.

With Reference to the post dated 2015-01-08 18:51..I got my problem resolved and I tried all possibilities to get back my frozen phone as mentioned in the reviews section. Thanks for all lumia 925 users who updated the worst and the best experiences. This is how my phone was resolved. I left my phone battery to go 0% and after that my phone was not responding at all. Before that I was able to feel vibrate mode and hear volume key sounds. After my phone is completely battery dead I left it for a while, and had a plan to visit Nokia care. When I was about to leave, I tried charging my phone and all of sudden a miracle happened, I was able to view the NOKIA logo appearing on my screen. I was astonished and few minutes I could see WINDOWS logo appearing a sign of phone is getting restarted. After charging 100% I checked all the features of the phone like camera, flash, volume, touch sensors every thing was working was fine. I would say this was my happiest day of experiencing lumia 925. love you lumia 925....................

Today I allmost went off the wall. It is impossible to move from one app to another without going back to the beggining. It has very little options to move around. To go into an app you have to search all the way down the menu to see if you can find it. I do not fin the menu where I can save documents. And another disgusting issue is: It is not 1 year old yet but I sent it to service for the second time. First was headphone jack problem, the second was power button disfunction. I really like my Lumia 925. I got it this Xmas so I didn't use all the features, the pictures are high-quality, the apps I tried run smoothly (Cortana is really good (better than Siri and Google Now), but the battery is pretty poor, so you need to recharge it quite a lot compared to Lumia 800.

I believe Microsoft is close to releasing / implementing a fix for the issue. To unlock / thaw your frozen device follow these simple steps: Depress and hold the volume rocker up for at least 10 seconds - next (while still pressing the volume) press and hold the sleep / power button for an additional 10-15 seconds (i have read other blogs that recommend holding volume DOWN instead but that has not worked for me) Your phone should now thaw and restart normally. I also recommend repeating the entire process when the device is powered down. Good Luck!

It's also happen to me on my L720. All you have to do is just let your phone turned off by drain of the battery. After that charge your phone and it's would be work normally. but in my case, this problem frequently happen when your phone in warm condition. so just give your phone a break, like shut down about 10 minutes to refresh your phone's system.

Man, I can't imagine being on your situation. But I'm afraid to say there's a simple solution for you, called soft reset; once your phone goes black, just keep pressed the power and the volume - button until the phone vibrates and it will reset. And other way to solve this problem permanently it's uninstalling not official apps you have installed on the phone. Sometimes apps made by not really good developers make the phone having issues on the hardware, so the best is to uninstall any app that is not so trust worthing. Hope this works and helps you to enjoy 925, cause it is a hell of a phone. You just have to learn how to use it properly.

I have had the same problem with mine, again the speakers keep giving out. As well as that playing through headphones is a similar process, you will have the volume up maximum however the sound will be limited or very distorted. I have also had another problem of which every so often my whole screen will just freeze, meaning I can't use my phone and often have to wait a few days to use it again.

I have had a lot of trouble with my 925, it constantly freezes on me and you have to wait until it runs out of charge to reuse it. This means I have to go for up to two days without a phone which can be really irritating, this problem is also a regular occurrence. For this reason I wouldn't recommend this phone

BS. if your phone randomly reboots then take it to a Care Center. the only bad thing with this phone is its signal. other than that it does not reboot randomly, and I don't know what features this phone doesn't have that you need, But I think the features meet all my needs. Worst smartphone I have ever owned. To start, I've had a Xperia X10, iPhone 4s, S3 and this thing (as my current smartphone). This is the buggiest worst phone I've ever had. Overall I don't recommend this phone and even my Xperia x10 with Android 1.6 was better. The Windows 8.1 update makes this phone still feel worse than the x10. It doesn't just work (like the iPhones) and has no apps and features. What's worse, it randomly reboots all the time and fails to load and is dirt slow (even when on fast WiFi networks). Imagine, a phone for your morning alarm, but it reboots so you don't get a morning alarm, maps that flat out don't work, poor call quality, and did I mention the phone randomly reboots? (like how it reboots during map directions causing you to miss your turn...) There's far better phones out there and Nokia's lost its legendary build quality and Microsoft still can't get a smartphone right. The only good news, this is a buggy terrible phone so at the point of it driving you crazy, you can go ahead and ditch your protective case and not have one, you won't care if it shatters or falls down 4 flights of stairs...

The 925 is a very good phone. Very fast and no time lag.However, if you are purchasing it from Amazon try to avoid buying it from a company called Ross Cellular located in Brooklyn. They sent me the incorrect phone and then gave me a run around for over a month before they finally refunded me. I eventually lost over $100.00 for shipping. Its been now more than a year, I got this 925. Trust me, if you haven't messed up updates (dev preview and lumia cyan) then this phone is such a darling. I agree a little heat due to its single casing. But that is not a problem. it just works fine and normal.Heating prob. (which u call) is a issue with single casing phones. But that never ever hampered the performance of my little computer. It is a must by phone. the camera and the display quality is unbeatable. if you don't trust me then rush to any store and get hands on a dummy model. the camera is beyond imagination. i would suggest you to at least try the dummy before listening to anyone. (including me) Note- if you are facing any issues with any of your nokia device just hard reset it once so that all the things are cleared and reloaded fresh. the easiest method is to download nokia recovery tool and let it do everything for you. P.S- Dont forget to create a backup.

yeah mine gets heated often like as if i took it out from an oven! battery life sucks too.. it hardly withstands for 7-8 hrs! battery gets drained 8-10% in idle state for an hour. nothing could be done for increasing battery life uh? :(

Do a soft reset by pressing the volume down + power for 10 sec till you feel the vibrate. Heating issue and Battery draining might get solved. Note: Doing soft reset doesn't affect your files or contacts.

Me too unhappy with nokia lumia 925. Even 720p hd video looks pixelated. Before i used n8 for 3 yr. video playback quality was stunning and sharp. Nokia specifies display as HD+ but, playback quality is poor. It's shame on nokia.

After windows 8.1 upadte , the mike was muted automatically. affecting voice recording and no speaker phone. the nokia service centre denies to resolve the issue after multiple failed attempts. The phone is under warranty and still they do not take any responsibility to solve the issue. Hopefully Nokia will look into this soon.

I am really disappointed with lumia 925, ofcourse some camera bugs of 920 fixed in 925, but in overall performance 920 is far better than lumia 925 if you ignore heavy weight. Also, 925 is not capable of playing flac audio formats and mov. Avi. Video formats which were smoothly played on my previous lumia 920. Even 920 smoothly played ts. avi video formats. It was bad idea that i sold my 920 and bought 925.

I'm an average+ user : private + work emails, few news apps, stock trading, whatsapp. I'd say active internet usage 1h a day (news apps), 1h of BTooth On in the car, each 15min mails download. 3 - 4 apps with background tasks & notifications. Location service mainly OFF, WiFi OR CELL On most of the time. In this regime the phone lasts 1 day (20 - 25h). Battery holds less after 8.1 update (bit you would like this update). Lumia 925 or lumia 830? I am not worried about processor and all as I am a light user. I only care about camera. Lumia 925 has 8.7 mp,sensor size 1/3 inch and aperture f/2.0 and dual led flash. Lumia 830 has 10mp, smaller sensor 1/3.4 and f/2.2 and single led flash. Overall, 925 is better except a little difference in resolution ,only 1.3 mp.so, 925 must produce better quality images in all conditions. What�s your opinion, guys?

I am using Lumia 925 from last 7 months and found that it can fulfil everyone's need. Battery Backup is not great but can be manageable with application settings and internet explorer. Nokia Store is to be improved with latest utilities. One of the best handset launched by Nokia. Thanks a lot.

You should make sure you are within a 3g coverage. In the city for example. 3g network often doesn't cover the whole country. in which city are you?

been using since since feb 2014. no internet usage can use for 1 whole day. normal usage internet can use 12 hours.. heavy usage practically 5-6 hours. but what i can say is, my lumia can use longer than friends who using other smartphone (ios, android). hope this helps

I have battery issues. My battery can last maximum 8 hours. I did a reset of the phone (not restart) and I still have a same issue. I've waited for the specs of 830, but after reading them today, i've ordered 925. Display of 925 is smaller, but better (i guess). 830 processor is a little faster, camera little higher res. but price tag also higher. And i can keep my Sim card without having to get a new nano sim (which also costs money). 16 gbare also enough for me... All iin all, best value for money, but all depends on individual needs ;-)

The 830 is definitely a bit better. I was truly hoping for better specs from the 830 but don't forget windows phone is a much smoothed OS than others and does not require as much processor power as let's at an android would. For example, I have the Galaxy S5 and the Lumia 925 and I pick the 925 any day over the GS5. The Galaxy lags all the time. Apps crash often and it is generally a frustrating experience. My only concern with the 830 as is with my 925, certain apps cause it to really get hot. Otherwise it's a much more capable device than the android.

I think you need to make hard/factory reset (before doing that back up your settings and data). Reset is sometimes necessary after OS or firmware update because installation of these updates can sometimes cause lagging or battery draining. Hard reset should resolve these types of problems (go in settings->about).

WP has a better battery life than any android device. Everyone around me with their brand new S5's are constantly plugged into their chargers, I look for my charger once every 18 - 20 hrs. WiFi connectivity is 20 times better than any android device, getting a stronger signal for faster connectivity, WP are built better with a less cheap plasticky feel like all Samsung Galaxy phones. The unibody design is the best, have you seen how awkward it is when you drop your phone and it opens up into several pieces, no such thing with unibody devices like the Lumia. So there!

I used iPhone 4S 16GB for one and half years and just got the lumia 925 couple of days back. Phone looks and feel really good. Thin than the iPhone and camera is much metter than the 4S I had. But few I am missing google analytics, FB page insights and free yahoo mail apps. Former two not available for WP and latter i have to pay and buy. There are few apps missing which I used in iPhone.

After using a Nokia Lumia 630 I decided to upgrade to a brand new unlocked Lumia 925 , over all I am happy with its performance apart from one annoying issue. I have searched and found many comments on the '' Grip of Death '' and my new 925 seems to have the same problem. if I hold the phone and my hand touches the bottom right hand corner ( my normal hand position when using any mobile phone ) the signal quickly reduces , but if I hold the phone by only its sides or only top and bottom, the signal is not affected . It seems the radio antenna for the 925 is located on the bottom right hand side , where my hand normally rests and the Grip of Death issue starts . This is a shot of what happens and the antenna position This problem occurs no matter where my location is or what SIM card is inserted , I have tried ( 3G 850Mhz / 2100MHz ) there's no 4G in my area . So far ive not managed to find out why some Lumia 925's have this problem and a lot don't , if its an antenna design problem then surely most 925 owners would be reporting this same '' Grip of Death '' issue This problem occurs no matter where my location is or what SIM card is inserted , I have tried ( 3G 850Mhz / 2100MHz ) there's no 4G in my area . any one having this problem

I found that it is more powerful than the swiftkey in droids. 2. The tiles... Its really attractive and fantastic. 3. The action center is really needful and serves better but is limited to some of the predefined functions. 4. The battery standby time is really improved to great extent. 5. I felt that now my phone is getting higher signal strength than before. 6. Missing Cortana badly. 7. Camera is slightly improved and the default camera app has burst mode now. 8. You now see your call log same as droid phones,i.e, the duration of the calls and repeated calls from the same contact is logged under single notif(no. of times is mentioned in bracs). 9. Skype app crashes after the update. So you need to uninstall the app, restart the phone, download it again from app store. The only crappy thing is you need to update each and every app after the Cyan update. Thats really a terrible thing. Gamers will really go frustrated.

And as if to spite me the more...the replacement phone HAS to be shipped in from another country?? That was it for me... Nokia Africa has single handedly blown out the torch I had kept lit for them. I cannot imagine this level of customer care exists in this age...regardless of whether I reside in Kenya. I am astounded... The phone is brilliant, sleek and wonderful to use otherwise. As usual the quality built that I admire from Nokia still exists...but customer services yo. I cannot emphasize it any more

I live in India so didn't receive Cortana but apart from that this update is solid. 1) First off I was eagerly awaiting for Word Flow Keyboard. I use Swiftkey on my Note 2. So having this update has brought me that flow keyboard & its amazing. 2)Notification Center (Action Center) is good. 3) Bing is more powerful now. 4) Windows Store is better organised now (a big relief). 5) Lots of camera improvements. 6) Music & Video apps are updated (we can now create playlists very easily) 7) We can have a pic of our choice as the tile background now. 8) Calender is also updated, etc.. I have been using this phone for the last one month. The phone is great considering the display, no-lag and great performance. Games run smoothly without any hang. The only thing I miss [have been using Android for last 3 years] is the notification center and availability of apps. The live tile structure is refreshing and quite cool compared to Android. Loving it. Haven't faced any heating issues until n unless I use it for quite a long time for Gaming/Net Surfing. Great Battery Backup! Not recommended for Android app lovers as you will surely miss them!!

GHz has no meaning in cross platform comparison. IPhone 5 does not have ultrafast cpu like latest flagship android phones. But performance wise it is far more superior than these flagship androids. Similarly Lumia devices perform super fluid irrespective of the GHz. It depends how Ur device handles OS. WP8 being less resource hungry will run smoothly on Lumia 925. But if U are a heavy gamer or social network addict then Lumia 925 is not for u. Its battery performance is poor (although 2000mAh) and internal memory is restricted to 16 GB, out of which around 10-12 GB is accessible.

Sony xperia Z is water proof to certain extent. None of the Lumia models are warerproof. Consider this point. Android OS is far more flexible than WP8. You have to forget about google services, chrome browser and will have to accept bing as a default search engine (although you can use google search) while using Lumia. If U r a google lover and extensively use google services (hangout, dropbox etc) and if U can't survive without them then any WP8 device including Lumias are not for U. On the other hand Nokia Lumia 925 has better camera and display. It has higher affinity to networks. GPS and map is far more superior. No, it is definitely not worth buying the lumia925 in July 2014, I have it since January and it is already becoming old compared to they upcoming 930 and soon enough the goldfinger which is due last quarter of this year. If you are like me and change phones only once every two years, then I would advise you to wait until the 930 successor is out since even the 930 (icon) is already old. All the best.

I bought my Lumia 925 on Jan 18, 2014 in India. Initial few days it was good. I like the phones slim and look and camera was very good. After few days, heating problem and battery draining problem started - I dont play games at all. I use only 2G network - I use camera occasionally - When I browse or use watsapp application even for 20 mins, it starts heating its not warm it is heating. I went to customer care here - when I showed the customer care the heating pbm which occured in 15 mins of use - they showed their old Lumia phone after playing games and told even if it gets heated up to this extent nothing will happen to you - they made to buy a cover which will help me not to feel the heat. I am facing battery draining problem - normally 9% battery down in 20 mins; sometimes 45% down in 45 mins. Heating problem/battery draining problem happens when I use camera/internet related services (like whatsapp, browsing) for 20+ mins. My software is updated. Nokia Customer care here says its a product design and does not hear us at all. I tried multiple attempts to talk with them; but not useful. Thanks

Everyone is not expecting the signal fluctuation but lots of people facing the issue as I read some forum. I am one of them. Don't know how to solve, nokia didn't provide any solution still. If it's a software bug then the solution is easy, but if its hardware issue then no way to solve as I don't have warranty for my Lumia 925.

I brought my unit in nokia care. There assesment for weak signal is board problem. The problem is I bought the unit in Australia. Now I'm here in Philippines, I could not take its warranty. After reading the opinions of other owners has also weak signal, it shows that nokia released many batch of units that are defective. How come those units was not detected on their quality control? They should do a recall for that. Very disappointing.

I tried in all possible ways. Locked to 2G, 3G but still same network fluctuation issue. We don't have 4G yet in our country. I am not sure whether it is due to Software issue. If yes,I hope Nokia will solve it in WP8.1 upgrade. Yes it's true. My lumia 925 also signal fluctuations. I tried different sim cards from different network providers and it shows weak signal which you could not experience on other phone. This phone is great except for network signal. So disappointing.

To those experiencing fast battery drains and overheating after the 8.1 preview update, please check your background tasks and disable those that you don't need to run in the background. Go to settings>battery saver>usage>show all apps, then disallow the apps you don't want running without your knowledge. Then perform a soft reset after (hold the power button + volume down). The reason why some wp8.1 users experience battery drains and heating is because the update re-enabled all apps to run in the background. My 925 lasts for a day and a half with moderate gaming, wifi, browsing, fb, texts and calls. Please also disable everything on "sync my settings". Hope this helps fellow WP lovers.

This is not an Android platform but cause it was started, fine; 1st of all, Droid users should ask themselves why their OS has so many updates in a short space of time whilst WP only has 1. Secondly, out of all those m, "many" apps, how many do you have and use effectively on a day to day basis, 3 maybe 4?. I used the 520, 920 and now the 925. Begging for help. Was checking out settings on my 925, which I've had for a few months. Went to ease of access and decided to try "mobility"--it makes the phone talk for like low vision or vision impaired people. I just wanted to try it. But once I turned it on and the phone reset itself (it said it would do that)I got a horrid surprise. My screen timed out and I tried to enter my password. I put in the correct password and the phone told me every number. Then it just sat there until the screen timed out. It won't accept my password and go to my tiles screen. On the phone with Nokia and they want me to do hard reset. NO NO NO I just got everything in there! Soft reset -- volume down plus power button -- did not help. Anybody got the answer?

Yes, really I a have updated my phone to 8.1 preview. First download the app 'PREVIEW For DEVELOPERS ' from apps store. Then open the app sign with your Microsoft account. The do what is said in the app. Only a few steps then you will easily get the update in the phone update section.

I got this phone from my uncle because he told he is going to change to ios and he don't use this phone anymore. I used this phone around two months. I really disappointed with the Windows OS. When comparing it with my Android phone, Windows OS has less functionality. Most of the third party apps are not working properly, those apps are compulsory to me. Hello Guies, M using Nokia Lumia 925 since December 2013. Its a very good phone. The Built quality is just fabulous. Touch is smooth, Camera is awesome, Net is fast, App running without lag. I have updated it to Windows 8.1 preview developer last month. I found little bug while opening apps. But overall its a good experience. The best things about this phone is the internal 16 GB memory. We dont have to worry about updates in the future, it has enough space. M only saying this because i use the RADIO MIX app for listening music so i dont have to put mp3s on it. And i do transfer all Whatsaap Images & videos, Saved images, Camera roll images once in a week to my pc. I do clean temporary files in the interval of 2 days. And m not a game lover,so i didint put heavy games in it. Thats why after 5 months i still have 9.81 GB free in my device. My phone does get heated too ,while surffing net, doing whatsapp or while playing videos, all phones heated up no issues. The only universal problem of this device is battery life. Its fact it drains fast, but no worry the developer will fix this out. Its bothering me to charge my 29K phone 2wice in a day. But it is Okey. I followed the battery saver tips. It gives me good result. Im improvising the way m using my phone from the beginning. I am Happy with the performance of my device. I have Compared and researched my phone with LUMIA 1320, LUMIA 720, LUMIA 625, LUMIA 520, LUMIA 630, LUMIA 920. But in the end i just love my LUMIA 925. :)

Thanks for reply, Software is upgraded to 'Black release' version. No further upgrade is possible at the moment. Difference between 892, 893 and 910 is that 892 is 3 and 4G capable worlwide except USA, CANADA region. 893 is for USA/ Canada region. 910 is released to Chinese market and is NOT 4G capable. This is what I dont want in my phone. Sure you can tell which version is it after opening the box. It is written at the back just above the speaker grill. What I want is to know without opening the box because in here, when/ if you open the box, its yours. Nokia DOES NOT print this info on the box. You can find IMEI etc but not the versions. Anyway one can find out through IMEI number or something? Anyone?

I have Lumia 925 for couple of weeks now. I agree with what most say about battery, its horrible. other than that it is a very enjoyable phone. I have couple of questions from other 925 owners. I noticed that incoming call has terrible sound distortion from ear piece. Even a 25 dollar phone sounds better. Do I have a faulty unit or it is like that in 925. Sound is perfect on Loudspeaker or wired handsfree. Secondly I got RM 910 despite that I wanted RM 892 variety. It was not indicated on the box. Anyway to tell which one is inside? Vendors here wont tell or know. I might sell this one and buy another 925 (yes! despite battery it is very enjoyable phone; my kids love it over Xperia SP.) Help anyone?

Ok guys... :) After spending some time with 8.1 on my 925, here are my impressions. :) Pros: Start screen wallpapers, action centre, 1 min update for live tiles (wich is big step forward, altough it doesn't seem like that), SNS integration is deeper than before, Extra raw of tiles, separate volume Controls... Cons: Battery saver is complicated than before and batt backup is not the best. It's ok while phone is in standby mode, but if you're using it, it will last for 8 hrs. Anyway, you have to understand that if you have 8.1 it is Preview for developers edition, some kind of polished beta or early alpha. It is normal that it has some bugs, altough not many. It's nice from MS that it released it few months earlyer then official edition, so we could help make official OS better. This 8.1 is smooth, and I beleive that one coming in june will be even better! Cheers!

Apple iPhone 5c 16gb is nice but costly 4s 16gb too is nice. All phones heat while browsing and playing games and the battery starts to decrease. This is normal in all phones but in LUMIAS this is more faster and greater. Go for apple iPhones u won't return to any other brands. The only minus is the price. U can also go for Galaxy S4, the picture clarity, space, UI, battery, sound , usage,availability of apps everything is pretty decent. Xperia too is very nice but most of them have only TFT screens.

I played asphalt 8 in 925 which has 1gb of ram. But my friend played the same HD game in his iPhone 4s 16gb without any lags along with greater and stunning graphics than Nokia Lumia 925. The speed of 925 in 3g was nice (with a capacity of 45mbps) but my friend's iPhone 4s performed an awesome magic in speed than 925(with just 14mbps) . So don't make fool of yourself by trolling. Hey bro, I think you don't know how to use this platform & phone. Phone heating problem is common to all phones. Android phones heat more than limit. That doesn't make the screen come out.I think u might have dropped your mobile. That's the reason for the screens damage. Then u have told that u cant send pdf files. First download pocket file manager then access the pdf file in it. Then press and hold the PDF file. U will have share options. From that u can send pdf through mail.

Windows phone 8.1 or Lumia Cyan is the next update for Lumia phones. People who are complaining about battery life with Windows 8.1 is not a valid complain because the lastest version is Lumia black. Android vs Google : apps that im missing on windows are: google+ youtube vlc Cons i have noticed so far. 1- when you zoom in a picture you can fluidly move around the picture. 2-volume controller sometimes works for media files some times it dosnt. 3-wifi does not connect automatically in fast speed, no, you have to wait around a minute for it to connect. sometimes i have to go to wifi settings to select the hotspot. so far these are small cons i found... waiting for 8.1 i heard it has a notification panel... lets see what it will bring...

I am not a developer, just joined program to get an early updates. :) At first, I had a problem with Store, just like most of the world, but today everything works fine. Phone seems fluid, just like before, but we'll see about that in next few days. Good thing is that you can pin smaller tiles, wich looks preety cool, after you get use that everything is smaller. :) Action centre Works great too! There is no need to have separate tiles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc... Cortana? I don't have her yet, since I am not from USA. I Know, I can just change my region, but, don't think I would use her, so why bother? These are my First impresions after few hrs of using 8.1 on my 925. I will post about batt life and other things after a little Research. If anyone have a question, I will be glad to help! :) Cheers!

for people confused between Windows and Android... before 2 days i bought Windows OS Lumia 925 due to the reason the lcd of my nexus 5 broke down and its not available in my country so i ordered one from china which would take 1 month..... so i was confused in my price range i found many options like sony sp, sony zr, moto g, lg optimus pro,.. but being a nerd for mobiles, i never tasted before windows and wanted to take a byte of it.... so i took a u turn fron android and bought lumia 925, from body point of view,.. its literally beautiful, every angle and every thing about its body is beautiful i dont know why people treat htc like one of its kind but this nokia 925 is way more stylish then htc..... now about software .... for last 3 days continuous experiments and usage i must say i love it. i am not saying i hate android. but there is some sophistication about windows. It definitly feels like and Operating system. there are many apps missing but its true most famous apps are available so i dont find any problem there. infact im enjoying it soo much that i have decided to sell my nexus 5... Android in my opinion is best for tablet use.. why ? well android has complete entertainment package, which windows lack. with a tab and Android os u can enjoy millions of games ... but all in all i would highly recommend windows phone to any android user. its really nice... and my future phone for next few years will remain with Windows OS

The battery to begin with on the L925 doesn't meet your mentioned needs, you can get 4.5 hours or 5 hours of continuous 3G usage max, so you'll be likely to charge it twice a day and for that issue there's an accessory for that which is a nokia usb charger so you can always charge your phone on the go, the USB charger gives you two full charges. about 3G connects I haven't faced any problems with it, although the connection drops a little in some underground malls or apartments with concrete walls, But I believe it's an operator issue so you'll need another user to confirm. I don't know about maps in your location but I'm from Egypt and the maps are quite good here. the camera good and the nokia cam apps are cool and you get free office with Windows phone, I haven't really used it though, I don't need it. Windows phone is a lag free OS. applications don't crash at all (facebook, twitter, music etc). only Subway surfers started crashing after the Mexico Update. The only thing Xperia ZR has over Lumia 925 is the battery. Both are great phones though and I was really confused between them. I ended up with Nokia though because I love nokia and I preferred the AMOLED display, and I don't think there's a bad decision here, good luck :)

And the operating system is great. I can share my files photos video's via Bluetooth or email. But there is a lack of available software. the camera is great great great. Probably the best Nokia at the moment and definitively the best mobile I have owned out of about 15 different phones. Whole Family now using Lumia devices! The trick is to turn of location and background tasks which you don't need. But especially Location because burns a lot of battery Go to Settings > Location and turn it off. Then go to Settings again > Swipe right to applications > Maps and Turn location off Also don't forget to turn off WiFi and Data Connection when not needed. Nice handset and generally a good performer. However one big practical issue. The volume buttons are on the right edge and you cannot help but press them while taking a call [or even just holding the phone]. The result is that quite often the volume drops down and you cannot hear the ring for incoming calls. These buttons should have been on the top.

The most used apps Facebook and WhatsApp are so bad for this particular OS that sometimes i feel like lodging a police complaint against the creators of those apps. Hello again. The phone lasted from 3:30 pm until 6:30 pm , I used it all the way to Cairo and stil had about 12% when I arrived. No severe drain when the phone is got or any thing like that, I also asked some experts on twitter who so Lumia reviews and they say that 3 hours is a good record and it's totally normal. and I also played some light games. so 3 hours and a half using 3G and listening to music is what you can get out of this phone. hi guys.. i'm using this phone for 2 months now. it's the greatest phone i've ever used. before lumia i used a iphone 4 then a sony acro S then a LG optimus L7 and so many other symbian phones before smart phones... So what i think is.. when comparing with battery life lumia has a battery life like a symbian phone.. i use the phone heavily for taking calls and normally uses wifi to access internet in the office.. and i can use the phone for 2 days with a full charge.. in my experice all other phones bearly made it a DAY.. and the camera it's like the best camera.. like a dslr.. even easier to use.. windows operating system is smooth and easy to use.. not like buggy android and it's so professional. call quality is excellent... everthing is great in this phone execpt for one thing.. it's singal reception is kind of poor in places with very low signal stregths.. it's not really a problem....

It is not true that you dont have a cloud space with Iphone. ICloud giving u a 5 GB free space. Also you cant compare proccessors, because of deferent operating system. IOS working much more smooth with lower proccessor then Windows with higher. Price, music, higher screen, are the most reason which you can make your decision to buy Nokia instead of iphone. Anything else is a minor deferents. BTW Nokia Lumia 920 is even better choice for me, because is almost same like a Lumia 925, but much more cheaper. Regards :-)

WP doesn't lack important apps anymore. you got Whatsapp Facebook Twitter instagram youtube etc etc. About the battery everyone says it's average. you get about 10 to 13 Hours of "just like every smartphone". About the heating, well, Every smartphone heats if used heavily for a long time. However I haven't used it myself, yet :)

nope... sorry.... no on the go (usb OTG) no mem card slot.... no HDMI.. or ant tv connectivity other than DLNA.(witch not support in every day to day tv... battery saving mode in full time can save a day or 1&1/2...(but its not recommended by nokia) for heating prob.. put a silicon or TPU gel case so u won't feel a thing..:D cannot transfer media files via NFC to android or another platform....( only windows to windows or droid to droid) cannot blame for that..

I've used Nokia mobiles for a long time. While Windows have brought good things to the overall experience of the devices. We still miss the things we could do with the last symbians. What Nokia should have done was to take the best from IOS & Android and not just IOS You have Nokia maps, glance and the best touch screen ever So afaik the 1020 has a 41MP camera and ONLY takes 41MP pics, you get the option to scale down an image for Facebook All Nokia phone take pics at the maximum resolution, before setting e.g. 5Mp can be set on an 8MP camera phone The app market is dire virtually nothing works There is NO standalone security, phone lock and sim lock, so anybody can insert their sim card as no sim card change NO lock my phone Find my phone I did not know what no system wide file manager means...until I found out The only way to check e.g. time & date, size a picture was taken is when you connect the phone to a PC You can't tell where an image is stored on the phone or memory card. ATM more apps don't do what they set out, but my are concern is the lack of any security features on W8 When you look at a Nokia sysmbian phone and then to a Nokia W8 phone you had choices on the Symbian Finally what irritates me is that the phone WON'T read a sim card for sim card contacts these have to be converted (imported) into FULL contacts If they can be imported they can be read, so why not leave them there on the sim card

Hi mate! I had 8x and now I have 925. Hardware is very similar with both phones. They have same processor, same amount of RAM. For me, HTC have nicer display. Problem is in me, because I prefer S-LCD over AMOLED display. But, now I am used to it and it's better. If you had phone with AMOLED, you shouldn't have any problem. Both phones are very well made, build quality is great. Now we come to software. That is where difference in prize came back. Nokia has free navigation and bunch of software that you can't install on 8x. Nokia has glance screen, and much more you will like. And yeah, camera is better on Nokia. So, go for Lumia if price is no deal braker for you. :)

yes i did, it has the latest update, do you have any idea what is the problem here?!! nokia told that it might be regulation issue, but that is not true, because the other phone vendors allows the 5ghz usage here in my country

My got this handset about a couple months ago as a replacement for her HD7 that kept breaking. She loves it because she has used windows phone for years. She always uses the text to speech feature for texting people. It has a great camera for taking pictures. The only missing is expandable memory. It is a good thing she gets cloud storage from Microsoft.

You should. I had lot of phones, and many of them were Androids. WP8 is much better for me. It doesn't mean you will like it, but there is a good chance, so you should try.

Guys after a lot of research got this phone from themobilestore at 26000. The best phone in terms of design,style,touch and smoothness.Its par excellence. Just if you are not android store/app freak go for this without a second thought and bet me you wont be regretting. Pics are awesome,both low light and bright light. Only demerit is Nokia Store which has got many ill developed apps and lacks many . But 26k for this phone is more than worth and a total value for money!!!!!!!

it's the most beautiful device i've ever seen in mobile industry after nokia n9, hat'ss off to nokia for creating such beautiful hardwares.... i alwayss imagine meego on 925 both os nd hardware make a perfect combination... meego truly deserve to be a flagship os of nokia, it's a wayy far better then windows and android. sadly putted into the wrong hands of stephen elop & one mistake destroyed the whole company.... proud owner of n9 64gb.....

i bought lumia 925 black body a week ago..its great in look, performance,colour,not confusing like android, unlike cheap samsung hardware.. its camera features are cool....its something good in hands...though i used lumia 520 earlier..

I bought my Lumia 925 2 days ago and I am in love! Although, I had some problems till now. First, my phone couldn't read my sim! I had an error "Invalid sim card...". After update to Lumia Black, everything was ok. Next thing... Camera shot button Works only half way, means, I can focus object, but cant take picture. Anyway, I am taking pics with on screen button, but planning to take phone to Nokia care centre. Before I had HTC 8x and to me, it had a bit better screen (I don't like AMOLED) and I really miss HTC live tile with clock. Everything else is on a Nokia's side, especially design. And yeah, I got it in some dark bronze color! :)

And the battery,no, although on battery saver, u need at least 2 or more times to charge if heavy use in a day.

Okay, I bought my Lumia 925 about 2 weeks ago. I read alot comment on this site before buying my phone. so.. Heating issue, yes I'm facing the same issue. Its still heating so bad in my hand right now. camera, all is good. The best about this phone is the camera. Its the beast! Can even beat iPhone 5. I know cus my brother using iPhone 5. The side of this phone is slippery. But all is fine now after I bought the silicon case. But what makes me wondering, it kept crash when I use the apps, esp on Nokia mix radio n browser. Maybe it is the problem with the apps developer. Other than that, I'm glad I bought this phone. Its so beautiful n sexy. The built is also almost perfect. And the most important thing, its not plastic n the price is better than other plastic built smartphone outside there.

I download 'full movies' apps thru the store. It works well but not many of movies n yes u need to online to watch the movie.

I bought my Lumia 925 1 month ago and i just noticed that the sound that comes from the lough speaker not coming through the whole grill, it comes from the mid right part of it !!! so i'm wondring why ? the mic is already placed at the buttom of the front ... so what the other part suppose to do ?! are you having the same problem ? please try to cover the right part with your finger and check if the sound is not covered. and gimme your feedback please
