I've had this phone over 3 years now and it still holds up. It's not slowed down, nothing's ever broken on it. Still perfectly usable today, no bells and whistles but for the price I paid I can't complain a bit.

Bought it in august 2016 from Banggood HongKong. Camera went out of focus shortly after and even with doing the magnet trick (opening it and putting a small magnet strip next to the lense), Didnt work though.. Have to always carry a separate camera. Very dissapointing

Left my OP3 with 39% battery on airplane mode, die in the morning, screen keep no response,the body just wam,not look a like in dash charge mode. The screen response in the afternoon, after many power/power+volume pressing,going to recovery mode, I just choose option to reboot. Battery indicator show 76%,charging rapidly normal. Just bought OP 3 & get 3 major update via OTA, got battery drain 20% on airplane mode. Uninstall 3rd party keyboard, deactivate adaptive battery, uncheck almost all apps notif, not using auto brightness. Now I've got almost 10h SOT on wifi, 25% game, 15% camera, 5h screen usage. Maybe the Pie still learning : )

My Oneplus 3 also seems to drain the battery when in standby on the latest update. The fingerprint sensor doesn't wake the screen until I press the power button. This update has broken a few things I think.

Hello all, just in case if you are living under rock. I want to let you know that if you install Google camera in your device you can take DSLR like pictures. Just google one plus 3 gcam and install latest version from XDA developers website. Gcam application is ported from PIXEL mobile phones and it improves picture quality like 10 times better than stock image with HDR processing. You can take portrait images of human subjects as well with your single camera lens as well.

One of the nicer phones I've had. Model OnePlus A3000. Got it as a 'dead' unit. Brought it back to life with the unbrick tool. From there it updated OTA from Oxygen 3.1.2 (Android 6.0.1) to Oxygen 4.5.1 (Android 7.1) and finally to Oxygen 5.0.4 (Android 8.0.0). It is scheduled to get Android Oreo later this year. Very speedy and responsive device. Love the dual SIM slots and the quick fingerprint scanner on the front. DASH charger is very quick to top up battery. Highly recommended.

This phone is the best phone for what you're paying for that I have seen (and I have a small hobby of just looking at phones and comparing them). There are many many pros like customizability, size, storage, power, and the dash charger but I'm just gonna focus on the downsides. Don't get me wrong I love it for the price and would recommend it to anyone trying to get a budget phone but it is lacking when it comes to the battery and camera in poor lighting. The battery is by no means horrible or a deal breaker but if you use your phone heavily and are out for most of the day as well you will almost definitely need a power bank or learn to use your phone less. The camera is extremely impressive in the daylight and good unnatural lighting but suffers in low lighting situations.

Very reliable device. I use it for 2 years and won't change it soon. Battery life is not the best but dash charge do his job well. I had a problem with camera. They replace it in warranty for less than a week. Best performance and device for money.

Had a lot of issues with my OP3, the latest being that the camera has stopped working period, after the Oreo update. Other problems have been incoming calls not showing after the 7 update and the finger print sensor will only recognise one finger, for some reason it does not like thumbs! I would not buy another OP mobile.

Great value for money phone- a real "beast". So far even got updated to Android Oreo, so still up to date. Camera is not the best I've seen, and when there's not much light you can feel it (takes great picture during regular light). The focus "lock" on an object could have been better as well. No real radio (aka "offline") but I knew that when got it.

Even I got this issue after updated to O, problem is after update Internet and all app settings are reset. Update Internet settings manually or calling to network customer care. Everything will be resolved. I Love my OP3 very much, no issues till now. Same performance since day one. Using this since launching day June 15, 2016.

The problem could lie in the type of charger u are using. Most of the time customer service or their own website's forum, they will recommend u using the charger that came with the box. U see, u are using a SAMSUNG quick charger. Using the original charger that came with the box is the best choice, why? Because the default charger is best suited for your smartphone, the charger that came with the box is optimized best for your smartphone, which is the OnePlus 3. But u buying a used smartphone could be another factor why it have battery life issues, because maybe the previous person who used it might have already made the battery a problem

Not true. I'm extensively using Jio on sim 2 for more than a year now and you know Jio is a 4G only, VoLTE enabled network. Prior to that used Vodafone 3G seamlessly on sim 2 as well!

I have it since 2016, about one year now and I am happy with the performance. I am using it on my job and it works well. Battery is in good shape until now, I am charging to 80% when goes in 20% for a better preservation. The Dash tech. is great, allows me to put it on the charge when and where is necesary (ones a day or sometimes for 3 times at 2 days). Greate phone, recommend!

I have oneplus 3 and Yes it does make the difference . I use dash charger and it charges faster than any phone + got around 7 hours screen on time with heavy use. Phone also remains at same percentage on standby overnight (6-7 hours) .. I slept at 1.50am with 55% and woke up at 7am with still 55% .

i have just purchased a used one plus 3, i am charging it with a samsung fast charging adapter.. i am not happy with its battery performance whatsoever, it drains a lot, it drains 10-12 percent overnight, whenever i go to battery settings to see which app is using more battery the "Cell Standby" always comes on top usage, (twice as much as any other 2nd app) plus i am only having 3 hours screen time on 100% charge. please tell me what should i do? does the Dash Charger makes difference to battery life??

It was OREO'd last week as a beta and this week as a stable release. The beta has a few minor stability issues (mobile network needs to be dis then re-enabled sometimes if you witness connectivity issues when using on the go).

Try to reboot. Try a hard reset (don't know if that exists)- press & hold the home+power button for 5-7 seconds. Plug it into a computer using a USB cable when it's on. Do stuff like add a file /taking a file on/from the phone. Contect their services - I hear that if its a software issue they can fix it from a far (with phone connected by USB).

Camera's focus is a little slow (or it doesn't stay on point like my Samsung Galaxy S2 did), speakers not top-notch for music and video playing, but I use headphones anyway- so I knew what I was getting. Decent battery life - when I was abroad I constantly taking pictures & was online. Started the day with 100% & got back to hotel at night with 20-25 % (which is still very usable).

try ebay.com. cutting a big screen protector to size you mobile is not good, u cannot cut tempered glass. plastic screen protector when cut will be sharper at edges and will damage your hands and fingers, actually no need for a screen protector, if u handle it a bit carefully !!!!

Dear mr harsh modi... First of all, your knowledge about smartphones seems to be pretty outdated... The sealed battery doesn't effect anything, heating problem is because of the metal back, it feels more warmer than a glass or plastic back, if you go and check it with a heat gun you will find the difference... All the phones weather it be the S8 too, they heat up, it depends on your usage... Secondly, li-ion batteries are meant to be charged again and again, it won't differ if we even even charge it 100 times a day, what would be wrong is to drain it till 0% and then charge, this reduces the battery's capacity to hold charge, li-ion battery's charge should be maintained between 20% to 90%.... P.s if you don't have the proper knowledge don't say..

Hi ajithkumar, Strange to heat your reviews.. I m a regular user of One plus.. I never faced such issue in my life ever. For your heating problem I would like to inform your that the battery is non removable and usually phones whose battery cannot be removed will get heat. That's a common thing in those. Even iPhone gets heated. For your automatically calling problem I would ask you to turn on pocket mode and close the unnecessary gestures. The calling issue wont ever trouble you anymore. For your battery draining. done charge the phone unless its less than 15-20%. Usually I've seen may people will play game over the cellphone and keep the phone for charging every now & then, this practice hampers the battery life and health. Still an of the issue continues please show it to service station and ask them to hard reset the phone completely and then once its done with reset enable the developer option and in that you can reduce the battery unnecessary consumption. Hope above advise me help you but please don't say its worst phone. Its the best phone ever saw and using One Plus 5 is like blessing Thanks Harsh Modi

I had a oneplus3 that, until it took a swim in my pool, was my favorite. Although the camera was not the best, there are plenty of apps that made decent pics. What made this the best cellphone for me was the cell reception. It beat out my old iphone 5s and lg g6. Always had at least 2 bars on oneplus3 where iphone and lg g6 were always dropping out or getting no service.got the lg g6 because it is waterproof but thinking about going back to oneplus3.

Yeah they're much better phones than op3 and you get brand value too... If your budget allows go for the S8, I don't know why but I just hate the pixel... I just feel that its overpriced for what google offers... While the S8 is a treat... I would recommend you the S8 and if your budget is weak then the S7... Or you could just wait for a while and get the note 8...

Yea i sent them a video and want to repair it again. i want to get it replaced with a refurb or new phone or refund. Waiting for Robi aka supervisor as she needs China H/O to clear this. Bro its a 2.5D curved glass, the tampered glass doesn't cover it fully, the sides are always left uncovered unless you apply a special guard which costs around 300rs... I never faced a problem of random cuts... It sometimes calls the emergency numbers but I guess that's because I've switched the ambient display and proximity wake on... If you're facing such problems then you should visit the service centre or flash your phone yourself...

I remember that once I had problem with my galaxy grand 2 service centres were refusing to consider the issue... I mailed them my problem and attachment of the video and they got my problem recitified... You can try your luck

Phone came back from Service facility and they said nothing is wrong with it. I video'd my phone shutting down randomly again and didn't want to restart and they told me to give them another chance to send it in again to get repaired. I told them i don't want this phone and i want my refund. They sent my request to management for approval. My phone right now is at their service facility in Markham Ontario Canada. Using a Iphone 6 as a loaner lol, good reminder why i moved away from iphone. Also to add to my last comment. One plus 3 2 months ago told me that my phone could be part of a bad batch and they will get back to me. They then told me its Android N7, then they said i should not update my phone etc... i get a new person every time that doesn't look at my notes and just pass me to the next person. Hopefully they fix my phone if not i'm SOL cause i won't sell a broken phone to a person. Yeah, I checked that once the phone is off the alarm doesn't ring... But its weird because I had used a dozen of phones with various UI's and every of them ringed the alarm when the phone was switched off... But I never faced the rebooting issue... Also there are instances when the service is good and bad... My phone's motherboard was fused and I sent it for repair and within exactly the 8th day I received a call from them that the phone is repaired and the 9th day I had my phone in my hand... It wasn't from a oneplus own centre... It was B2X ( runs in partnership with oneplus )...

The service centre too wasn't of oneplus it was b2x running in partnership with oneplus, so oneplus's own centre would have even better service... I personally had a very bad experience with motorola... I had the x play and its software was hell buggy and motorola didn't even care to provide update to stablize it for about 5 months... Had the phone since December. Keeps shutting down at least 1 times a day some times every couple days and sometimes a few shut downs in the same day. OP Tech logged in remotely and couldn't fix the problem. Now i have to be without a phone for 3 weeks to repair it. Stay away from this Brand and spend a few hundred bucks more on a Pixel or Iphone or Galaxy phone. I missed lots of calls and appointments and slept through alarm clock because of this issue. The specs on OP phones is meaningless if it's not stable.

Best Android phone I've ever had and I've had quite a few - better than my former Nexus 6P. It's interface is well polished too - stock android - even a screenshot is a one handed operation and it's never lagged on me once in 6 months of using it. Battery charging is the best I've ever seen('Dash' Charging) and the fastest. The 3 level do not disturb button is really convenient too, fingerprint sensor rarely misses, camera and video are spot on and sharp. With 64GB storage, 6GB RAM, Snapdragon processors and dual sim card slots this one is hard to beat for the price (HALF the price of an iPhone and does twice as much....) Well worth the money...

Hey, after the oxygen 4.1.3 update I am facing a new problem. After I assign a downloading task (say on uc browser) the battery starts to drain drastically. Even after stopping the download and putting the phone idle, the phone heats up and starts draining battery. When I check the battery graph it says that the phone is awake the whole time and Android system and media are main culprit of battery drain. This problem goes away say after one or two cycles of charging and reoccur as I again assign a downloading task. What to do, Plz help.

Assuming the Moto G5 Plus is the variant with the bigger storage, Moto G5 Plus clearly. Second hand is never a safe bet, OnePlus is not always a safe bet, combine those two and you have a good chance of something going wrong. Moto G5 Plus is not the powerhorse OnePlus 3T is, but it performs where it counts and it will be supported for a while longer.

I got this phone hardly 4 days ago. I updated to oxygen 4.1 and had Tue wifi issue with Google play store. But I changed the connection setting of carrier and since it works beautifully. Battery lasts whole day and till 11pm on regular use. Amazing power with quad core processor and 6gb RAM. Only minus is absence of sd card, otherwise screen display is a beauty (dump the default wallpaper) and camera is wonderful. I have owned and used many smartphones. For specs and the price it is a bargain++

The update is not that good.. Infact I found very little changes, surely not pleasant ones... When we used to open the shelf, the wallpaper used to get blurred out, that's no more now... The wallpaper just fades out as a thin black film gets applied... That thin film they stole from the notification panel, now whenever we swipe down, there is no thin black film and it remains transparent ( I personally hate this...) I don't know exactly, but when the fingerprint scanner is left idle for some time, the unlocking is slow... The long screenshot feature is type of a gimmick... It doesn't work that well, as it was on MIUI or other ROMs... It cannot take much longer screenshots​... No apps added, everything is the same...

The 30 u say is the shutter speed, that has been set for 30 seconds. So, your phone is gonna capture for 30 seconds. That's why the "capturing" screen stays on and on for all that while (30 seconds to be precise). Having said that, the slow shutter speed can help you shoot some amazing shots like light trails and blurred flowing water.. Similarly, you can decrease the shutter speed too (upto 1/8000 I think), which can help you snap fast moving objects, like the rotating fan for example. But one issue is, lowering the shutter speed, lowers the light entering the lens, thus the images would turn out to be dark. So, you'll have to crank up the ISO accordingly (which would bring in lot of noise unfortunately). Read about the exposure triangle in the internet. There's a lot of stuff the OnePlus 3 can do!

If you are from INDIA, I don't think so you can get the oneplus 3, amazon only lists oneplus 3T and I don't think so other sites are that reliable... Coming to the differences, you will find the difference only in opening of apps and battery life, the oneplus 3T can open the apps faster than the oneplus 3 just by a 2-3 sec margin... The oneplus 3T has a better battery life than oneplus 3... A 15-20% increase to be precise... And the 3T's camera is just slightly better than the oneplus 3... Anyways, I don't think so you can get the op3 now on amazon...

Frankly speaking: One plus 3 better in terms of Rear camera, the front camera image quality is same for me, not noticeable difference despite being 16mp on 3T. Performance wise borh are same unless you consider benchmarks. 3T is better in Battery back uo for sure. On my 3 i get 6HRS(maximum) SOT, while on 3T 7HRS maximum.

Mine is very stable on the last Android 7 update - OSS 4.0.2. Try deleting the cache in recovery - google how it is done - simple process. I do it before and after an update. OP is suggesting that you go through at least 2 power cycles before an update settles and you judge the battery life.

Are you using Jio? If so, then let me inform you that Jio doesnot support any other bands other than 4G (only band 3, 5, 40). So, no 3G. But if you are not on Jio, then get your device replaced immediately!

So I left with only one contact no and lost land line no or second mobile no... In some cases I list entire contact also... It's completely bizzare and useless... Very very disappointed..

The operating system of my OnePlus 3 device got updated to the Version "ONEPLUS 3003_16_170114" yesterday (20th Jan. 2017). This update has paralyzed my device (as well as those of many other users as is demonstrated by the complaints posted on OnePlus India website). The specific problems are : 1) The Phonebook of the device is not at all visible; 2) The Call Log is not available; 3) The battery drains very fast (from 100% to 53% in less than 3 hours). This oneplus3 was the worst buy I ever did. First stop charging for no reasson, i had to send back to factory to solve the problem. 10 days without phone. After a while, the auto-focus stop working. again i had to send back to the factory more 10 days. Now the same auto-focus happend, i send to the factory but because meanwhile my glass broke. They want 200€ to fixe the phone. (100€ for the auto-focus camera that they know that is not because of the broken glass.) And if I want them to send me phone like it is, they want 40€ to send him back, or they stay with them to scrap. NO MORE ONEPLUS phones

Battery life on mine OP3 is great. I switched to Oneplus3 from Lg G4. From 8 am to 23pm i usualy have about 45-50% battery left (3-3.5 hours of screen on). Also from 8am to 18pm i am using it with both SIM. G4 with single sim had around 15-20% battery at 23pm (2.5-3 hours of screen). OP3 is great phone. Very nice metall build, great screen, fast performance... Only the camera is not good all the times, sometimes you need to take a couple of shots but with good day light is excelent.. Cheers :)

I have a friend that purchased one of these. He told me that the specs are better than my iPhone 7 plus. He proceeded to compare the screens side by side. The plus 1 brightness is about half the brightness of an iPhone 7! It makes me wonder about the other "specs" of the phone. Not impressed!

Plastic is light but not resistant... Metal doesn't break on a smartphone but plastic can break, moreover the plastic gets worn out and gets discoloured (old samsung phones)... Metal feels premium and provides rigidness to the phone they do not snap into half like plastic phones (see the nextbit robin #completely_plastic)... I'm using the phone from the day after the update had rolled out and thr only bug I found is that the sometimes the camera automatically starts the timer... That happens only with the front camera on, whenever you try to click a picture, suddenly the timer appears (even if it's not enabled).. Sometimes it ruins the photo and sometimes its good because you actually start making faces :p... Inspite of this, no bug found..

Xperia Z5 Premium is outdated when you compare it to OP3 and G5. It's still good, but just 1 year older than those two. If you want high quality, avoid LG G5. Just look the video of adrianisen, the measurements of the removable bottom parts aren't even right and the back sticks out. So get the OnePlus 3, it's much better quality than LG G5. The metal body of LG G5 is just plated plastic, another sign of bad engineering, I mean this is such a terrible idea. If you are able to, it's even better to get OnePlus 3T, but only if the price difference isn't higher than $ 60. It's a refined version of OP3 with bigger battery, little better and newer chipset, darker black color on the back, redesigned camera (just by looks, not any new internals concerning the camera) and better front cam (although megapixels don't matter but it's overall better than on the predecessor).

Mine working perfect. Using Jio in sim1, and vodafone in sim2. Apart from that, I am loving my phone more and more everyday. Keep up Oneplus 3. I have used 6s plus 128gb, s7 edge, s6 edge, Note 5, etc previously. I can bet, apart from camera(Not superb but it's ok for me), if compared to these other top mobile phones, it beats every other phone in the market in other area.

It has nothing good, the camera doesn't even have OIS or laser autofocus, its camera would be same like the moto x play, it has the Snapdragon 810 which is like the most heating chipset, it heats up even in general usage... That too for a price of 40k-45k... Its too overpriced....!!

Do you really have OP3? I never experience that on my phone. Maybe you have a defective one. You might want to return your faulty device to their repair service facilities. Though battery back-up is not that great compared to other phones, the dash charging is there to compensate for it. I am working in the office 8-10 Hours and when I get home, I still have around 30-40% battery compared to my old phone (Honor 6 Plus) which is at noon I used to charge. Maybe you are constantly using your device as a gaming tool, and will really not last that long specially when playing intensive games. Just because you are having a faulty one, that doesn't mean every OP3 will be faulty like yours.

How about Huawei nova plus? I saw it on youtube yesterday. It is pretty good it can replace One Plus 3 if its price is too high. Nova plus has better fingerprint ID. larger battery insensity.Camera are same from both. Nova's design is same with metal unibody. Camera has OIS. Only difference is Nova just has snapdragon 625 2GHz and 3GB RAM. But i think is perfect for every using purpose. Can play heavy game smoothly. Just my opinions. Yeah I'm on the stock OS... I'm using the Samsung HS130 earphones... I bought them for 600rs, they're great sounding earphones... Don't rely on cheap earphones, maybe because of them being cheap, they might have compatibility issues, just buy a good earphone and let it last long... You can buy the audio technica CLR100 too in about 600rs, the sound is great but it doesn't have a dedicated mic...

In my family everyone is a big fan and user of samsung or iPhone devices.I got iphone se last month 32 gb. But now I'm facing some problem like i can't download anything like movies or songs .then i got a third party music app .trust me every single audio song in 20 to 25 mb.so its a waste of storage..If i play any songs from share it then its gone overheating like i can cook something on my phone .so i think one plus 3 is good for me . Its not about actually utilising all the space... Its about backing up, its a pain in the ass to back up the data on a pc regularly... I'm just saying that if they would have decreased the storage a bit and added the support for microSD card then it would preferable... Also the 16mp sony IMX sensor which is on the oneplus 3 has OIS....

I am using the one plus since a few months and have to say that, despite having used iPhone in the past, this is the best phone overall I used to this date. I do however miss the SD slot, not because I actually need it but simply because I would like to have it. Just in case. The fingerprint sensor is extremely sensitive. That means it's really good but sometimes even too good; at times while playing games I accidentally touch it and it jumps out of the game. These two things are actually the only two negative aspects of the phone. As for what concerns the positive parts I could start talking and finish in a couple of hours :-)

Hello All, I am yet to receive my device as it is being shipped and I have read many reviews about One Plus 3 and it is positive. I have been using Samsung Flagships, Lately S6 which I lent to my brother. I am happy with offering from Samsung but I heard lot about One Plus and ordered one without being known of 3T launching soon but anyway at 28k this phone does offer lot against S7 & iPhone 7. Top notch performance with good camera and near best operating system with lot to offer.. I have seen lots of comments on Internal memory and not having external card support. How many of us actually utilize that much of space anyway? There is an option to save data using Laptop/PC/OTG devices for media and files. I don't think so internal memory is an issue. Offering 64GB as base model with Snapdragon 820 + Adreno 530 + 6GB LPDDR RAM at 27k is really a giant killer.. Only drawback can be considered not having QHD screen with 2K resolution and OIS sensor for camera which falls behind in competition. Still, If you think anything more can be added you can share your view.

I'm on the latest stable update and there is no applock fingerprint... Anyways you can use third party apps like lockdown pro, it has the option to unlock the apps with fingerprint and it works flawlessly... And the oneplus 3T will be much better than the G5... LG phones are not very good...

I am posting my view as a common user. I am not a heavy user. The phone is very good. Charging is very fast. My battery was down to 18% and after charging for 5 minutes it was UpTo 29%. Display is also good for 1080p. Totally no bloatware. The battery will easily last for a day for me. My usage consists of chat, Feedly, e-reading,a little gaming and of course regular phone calls, only the normal stuff. For bucks u r shelling out this device is worth.

You can buy the oneplus 3T... Its slightly faster in opening apps which may not count that much, but it has better battery life than the oneplus 3... The mi5s has a almost 5inch screen which is less than oneplus 3... larger the display, better the gaming experience...

Hi, any feedback on lagging or response time, now that OnePlus 3 had been around for 6 months. I read an earlier feedback/opinion/comment that based on OnePlus 2, with all its specs and capacity, was very impressive at the beginning, however, after a few months of use, it slowed down a lot. Am contemplating OnePlus 3 or Sharp Z2 (which is a lot cheaper). Bro, if you check the history of oneplus, they never do major price drops, how can they even do this, the price is already so cheap... If you look at the oneplus two, it was launched for 23k I guess, and now if I check the pricing, it is available on amazon for 20k, which is just 3k less, which is acceptable because the device is more than an year old and its successor is out... Oneplus devices are already priced very aggressively, they're not like Samsung's which are priced very high and then their price starts dropping very fast... The SD 820, sony IMX camera sensor and other sensors, 64gb onboard storage, accessories, some marketing costs and some profit from oneplus, adds up to the respectable price of 28k...

I have gone through few reviews, and surprised that people are complaining about this phone. I am using this phone from July2016 and I hardly find any issues in it. 1. Best camera so far in Android smart phones (2nd best to iPhone 7). 2. Very good battery to run throughout the day. 3. The 820 processor and 6 GB RAM makes this phone really fast. 4. I have never seen any heating issues as reported by few. 5. More than value for money phone. 6. I can keep writing the positives like (very fast to charge, excellent rear camera, HD videos). Just one drawback is that I am used to listen to radio whle travelling which I miss in this phone. Besides that I guess its the best phone I have seen in Android. (Considerring the price of Google Pixel, and Samsung edge).

1) Yes, it's released in India... you can buy it from Amazon India or from OnePlus's website 2) Yes, OnePlus 3 / 3T supports USB OTG 3) The camera is kinda in the middle (moderate). Google Pixel, iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7 beats the 3 / 3T in terms of camera 4) The device does not hang or lag. It's very fast out of the box. 5) Someone can answer that.... If you're doing normal things then it won't overheat, you'll omly notice a bit of heat (not too much thought) ^^ If you play alot of intensive games then you'll probably notice it. I play Asphalt 8 alot and the temperature reaches between 40 to 50 degrees.

Who the heck listens to radio in today's life..? The cores doesn't matter... You have a deca core CPU mediaTek but it just simply cannot compete the Snapdragon 820... The phones which have 4000mah battery do not have quick charging like the dash charging in oneplus three... I'm coming from the redmi note 3 which had 4000mah battery and trust me, it makes a difference only of 3-4 hours in battery backup... Which gets covered by the dash charging in this phone...

The A9pro skimps on the gyroscope sensor, so no VR functionality... Also it has a midrange processor the snapdragon 650 which isn't as powerful as the snapdragon 820... Also its has a 6inche screen which is like, too huge, 5.5inch is I guess the ideal size for a now-a-days... Also its 4k expensive which is like paying premium for what you're getting...

As I understand it android7 should be coming to the oneplus 3 and 3t by the end of year via over the air, you can get beta versions of the os and upload them via oneplus's website but that comes with all the usual beta warnings 😱

Fingerprint reader is just excellent, never missed! Never ever pushed the power button in pocket unintentionally. Its hard to believe, may be you wear a jeans made of metal :p Forsure, there is no phone till now which can be said as "Flagship killer" But, In one word "for the given price tag, its a killer". And dont forget, its a machine afterall, there can be few errors here & there, nothing is perfect! I am enjoying my one plus 3, cheers!

Brother let me tell you, The sound quality is good, infact better than galaxy s7 edge. Its clear & loud enough. And the sound in video recording is not mute always, its because of some software glitch for sure, it happened to me aswell, when rebooted its fine, nothing serious.

Good: * fast charging * fast cpu * fast camera * images taken on a bright day * basically unlimited amount of RAM * looks good and is well built * pixel density on screen (only HD, but its enough) Meh: * fingerprint sensor (its fast, but not completely reliable) Bad: * screen is greenish when looked at angle * power button can get too easily pushed (read: unintentionally pushed in pocket) Ugly: * sound quality (hands-down the worst sound on any phone I've ever had) * sound on videos (sometimes there is almost no sound at all. And yes, I don't mute the sound by holding my finger on mic or speaker) * ambient light sensor (just turn it off, it doesn't work) So, its a phone. Its not a flagship killer or something that we will remember in 5years. Though I don't regret buying it.

I've already bought the OP 3 through the internet , the only thing I worry about is the hardware quality. Because from where I'm from, there are only a few service centers that support OP brand, and it seems the OP 3 is nowhere to be found except the internet , so the spare parts and repair time would be very concerning if I ever met problems. One Plus 3 with Very Poor Quality Display, Not worth of price. Though it is Corning Gorilla Glass 4 which should ideally not break from 1or 2 feet. My phone felt from 1 feet as I was sitting on my Bean Bag. It was plan floor and Display broken even though I have covered with Original Sandstone Cover from One Plus. It was just 3 months old and replacement of Screen is near to 10k. 10k Screen with such Poor quality. not worth for Price. Suggest not to have such expensive phone with Poor Quality of Screen.

I have bought OP3 last week. Phone works very fast. Display is excellent.Everything worth it. I have install a launcher for themes and wallpaper because OP3 has not it's own Themes. But only problem i'm facing is that battery charge not lasting longer. I have charged in the morning and it came down 10% in the afternoon. 3000 mah battery should not be like that. My one plus 3 suddenly stopped to restart while on charging. While the service centre promptly got it picked for getting it repaired after my service request . Unfortunately the instrument has been returned to me after 20 days and lot of followup without repairing and upon asking them I was told that the motherboard is has gone faulty and they are charging 25000/- shocking . I had such a trust in the brand that I purchased another ONE PLUS 3 just last month for my son also. I am yet to come out of shock and have lost my trust and speechless. the phone charges really fast so it creates a lot of heat and the heat needs to go somewhere, but with the Dash Charge technologie the heat doesn't go to the phone, it stays in the charger en the charger gets rid of it, so that it why it is this hot, it is very normal with Dash Charging, that is why you get the special usb cable and charger that ships with it

the comparing is difficult both of them have ddr4 (type of ram) with double channel. honor 8/ oneplus 3: Glass vs metal body. micro sd/ no micro sd. 8 cores vs 4 cores. 4 g ram vs 6 ram. the battery endurance, resolution and fingerprint are almost same. camera is much better in honor 8 but bad in Videos bcuz there is no Ois the design in honor 8 is stunningly beautiful. So if you obsessed in videos capture and metal body go for Op3, otherwise the honor 8 will be your choice. beautiful design, sd card and better dual camera.

With the camera I'm never satisfied. There is no picture on zooming. Not satisfactory resolution. There is No FM radio. Photography only without zooming is very disgusting....I bought it this year and request to get the change of camera settings with right optics. Its clearly One plus 3 win. Cant compare with Note 5, I find my one plus 3 resolution pretty good. I dont find any deficiency. I have used Note 5 previously, not happy with the gaming performance. Once used and using one plus 3, its a beast. It clean sweeps every other android phone in the market. For $400 its a great package with DUAL sim option. keep up one plus team.

Go for one plus 3, if you want a good performance, better processor, 6gb ram(future-proof). XDA support for different ROMS. Note 5 only if you want a Brand name plus stylus. But Note 5 User interface is sluggish and it's slower than one plus 3. Camera of Note 5 is better. Good luck.

I have been using One Plus three from 45 days.. facing issues since last 3 days esepcially in receiving calls. 1. I cannot receive calls. Meaning I can answer and I can hear the person on other side, but they cant hear me. This is happening 60% of the times. When I call back, it all works well. 2. I cannot answer call If I get a call when I am working on any other application like - Whatsapp, uber etc. this is very peuliar and stupid problem. I can initially answer the call speak and listen to the other person also for 15-20 seconds then it goes blank. When I go to the call screen, it shows me the call receiving screen. (to pick up or reject the call). This screen is non-responsive, just hangs up. Call also ends then. 3. Long blank /pause during the call. This is cretaly not network issues because if there is network issue call gets dropped.. but here, call continues with good quality again.... It is only 10-15 sec blank spots in between the call...

I am having problem with the otg functionality, I even bought official OnePlus otg cable (not adapter which I know dose not work with op3), first I attached an hard disk 1tb with it, but I experienced that the connection was breaking like the device is unable to power the HDD, then I try to attach a 64 GB pendrive although this time the connection was made but the device was unable to read the content of the pendrive, so I decided to connect a lower capacity pendrive which I borrowed from my neighbour (as I was not having one) having a capacity of 8gb and to my surprise my op3 detected it an even was able to read the content, this shows that my op3 is only able to read only low capacity PD via otg. Please suggest is there any problem with my device, and if anyone has gone through this experience an is now able to get the proper cable or adapter which can read high capacity PD or HDD then please suggest the brand.

Note 5 for display, camera, after sales, health sensors and obviously the S Pen related stuffs. OnePlus 3 for everything else. If glass built doesn't bother you, you could give a try to the Note 5. But the software will still be no match for clean Android experience, simple as that.

Hi Sull, im a owner of oneplus 3 and old devices of the galaxy note (1,2,3,4) I would definetly recommend the oneplus 3, he was release on 2016 and have better hardware. (2015 for the note 5) The software of the note 5 is not that great and OTA update is quite low If you like modding your phone the oneplus 3 is your phone But even if the note 5 seem "odd" he still have a good hadware and he is more polyvalent (stylet) so if you like it and you can have it with a good price don't be affraid to buy it!

Go to upper shutter...you will find a way to increase brightness. Go to Settings>Display>Turn off Adaptive Brightness and increase it as per your desire. Hope it helps

One of the worst Service Centre. Bought my ONE PLUS 3 in August 2016. As i received my Mobile i was not able to connet to data for which i had to switch on Airplane Mode & switch off the Airplane mode to get connected to Data, which the service centre person told to update the software which i did but the problem didnt got solved but still i had no option but to use it. After a month or so the Slot 2 Sim started having range issue & imediately the next week Slot 1 Sim also started to have the range issue & than the phone was not able to having any operators Signal, so i approached the Service Centre in Pune @ Seasons Mall Magarpatta on 24/Oct/2016 where i came to know that the issue is with the Motherboard which will get replaced but it will take 7 working days so i asked for a standby device which they didnt gave today its been 13 days still didnt got my mobile done on getting in touch with the service centre came to know that motherboard is not available in India will get it from China & cant commit on the how much more time will it take, so i again asked for a standby device which again they didnt provided, So guys this is the Level of service that you can expect from a Chinese Mobile Manufacturer, in this case Samsung or Apple would have replaced the device with a new one or atleast provide with a Standby device, I would never buy a Chinese Mobile in Future. A very very horrible exxperience with you guys ONE PLUS

The phone it self is very good. Strong build. Good camera. Fast and responsive. The size is just good, slightly smaller would have been better for me to be honest. However, i don't think it is the value for money phone everyone keeps talking about. You will end up paying similar to what you pay for an S7 if not more. That is because it only comes with a charger and that's it. No headphones, nothing... just a plug and a cable for the weird new form of USB that it is equipped with. So it won't really be compatible with any of the chargers you own, you have to buy more if you want to have one for the home and another for the office, and then for the car as well. The standard USB cable does not work... Moreover because of this new USB form, you don't have the luxury of directly plugging a USB stick for extra memory or memory backup.AND you don't have a memory card slot. So when i bought i'd compensate for the lack of expandable memory with an external memory stick for backup but NO. won't work. You're stuck in the new USB system... So apart from the new USB, all else is good... so far...

Battery isn't average at all... I use the phone like all 2 minutes and the battery lasts for nearly one and a half days and the camera is (my opinion) superb! It has no much sceneries in its stock camera app but I really love the manual mode and it has the standards like slow motion time-lapse and 4k videos it also has a real image stabilization in the back camera (btw there are many comparisons on different websites for the Op3 camera and stuff) I really like the camera ^^

Just bought the Oneplus3 few days back. Gotta say i am impressed. Crazy specs, crazy performance, crazy charging. But 2 problems. There isnt any other way to silent other than the slider and receiving music files via Bluetooth is very slow. But it isnt a deal breaker for me. And dont forget the camera. It takes better photos compared to my iPhone 7 Plus.

(clause 4.8) 4) while clause 3.4.1.says => Suffers accidental physical damage and/or such damage that causes Covered Equipment to stop working on normal usage.It should fall under this category and deemed be repaired under insurance. For 20 odd days they were busy verifying documents.God help them to recruit some literate and educated employees so that they can be more efficient. Moreover I simply failed to understand their mental retardedness by saying that slippage from hand is not accidental in nature. I believe 99% cases the phone gets damaged by mere slipping from hand and they are not covering that. How elsewise phone can get damaged ?... to be covered under insurance.??? Guys refrain from buying from such Dishonest/Corrupt/Fraud Company. Accidental Insurance is a Total Gimmick...please don't fall prey to it.

Hi, I writing this because of FRUSTRATED SERVICES OF ONE PLUS. I purchased One Plus 3 - in Aug10 and registered on Servify app for warranty next day. Because of its smooth(Worst) back panel it slipped from hand on 19Aug and screen is broken. I raised service request with warranty on same day and visited their service center on 20Aug, but service center people denied to take the device. Then upon there mail chain i had given all the required documents for claim in next week and they agreed with my doc and told they had forwarded to insurance company and it takes more time for verification. I waited for one month and called them, because my mobile was not submitted at service center they rejected my claim without any intimation. And servify center person raised one more request on Oct6 without insurance (mistake) and again after 2 weeks they changed my request as insurance one. They asked again for all documents and same i had given them and now they are asking for explanation for delay. I think they don't have any intention of service and they have setup with few members and cheating people. Before any OnePlus device purchase we need to think twice and check for other companies. I am sure if any service required you will land in problems because of ONE PLUS WORST SERVICE SUPPORT.

I have not experienced any overheating with this phone for the past 16 days of usage. While dash charging also the phone does not get much heated. I recommed this phone if you are going to buy it.

If long battery life is your only concern, (I mean, really long battery life) then, go for Moto Z play. Otherwise, in all other aspects, its OP3. And with OP3 too, you'll get a full day's battery on a single charge and that's good enough for me. Under 20k INR, I would suggest mi5 or the Zuk Z2. You can also go for J7 prime, if you want something of a branded device. Or the Sony XA, and the XA ultra.

Within a year i got frustrated using this phone, spent 18000 and it feels all drained, why we will trust these companies if neither they are giving good handsets just providing attractive specs nor a good service. I want a settlement with this either give me a new handset and repair it under warranty.

Coming from an OPO for a 27mth period I am quite happy with the improvements of the 3. I am fine w a 1080p AMOLED screen and I find overall I have the brightness quite low which aids in battery life. Battery life to date is decent, dash charging excellent. I was strongly considering a Nexus 6p 64gb just for the slightly larger screen but every phone has issues, whether it be the muffled voice or rotation as example not working on the 6p I opted for the OPO3 not because it does not have faults but rather it just has better hardware. A Snap 820 is better than a 810 and a 530 better than 430 and Dash charging better than fast charging and handling the OPO3 easier than 6p. However the 6p screen is nicer but for my older eyes 1080p is fine, heck my 70" TV is 1080p so let's just step back and think about that before we go off on QHD for 5.5-6" phones. Having 6gb or ram hopefully in future will be a benefit and all I want out of this phone is the same reliability my OPO gave me for 27-30 mths before I sell it to try something new out. All else aside I would like to see an HTC 10 like quality DAC and possibly expandable storage, for me the new camera is a huge improvement. I got great shots w the OPO but it was harder, this u it works way better, is it the best, no, but it is good enough and over a short ownership period I am happy w the 3

Yes Bro! I meant QHD Higher Resolution for Day Dream Camera Sensor 377 is great. I wouldn't mind if they come up with 5.7' just ike Nexus 6p size too. I'm going to take anything from OPO if they hit these points: 1) QHD for Day Dream 2) Better Battery - 3500+ 3) Camera Sensor - Same sensor like Nexus 6p and the rest of the features just like the OP3 These days Camera plays a vital role in picking the right device so they should focus intensely. Look at Honor 8 and some Huawei devices & etc they are coming with the right things but just because they have ugly skins like Sammy UI people dont opt for them Lets see if they deliver in the next device (As per rumors they are launching a new device and if they really hit something close to this then I'm in)

op3 INR 28k and lg G5 INR 33.5K difference 5k not matter when u get performance, camera, battery (removable), charging, display, gaming, and all other features is sooooo gr8. Person who can only judge who hv this mobile. it is better than I-phone and s7 definetly. It is the best of my choice on smartphones up to now. It will be purchased w/o any hesitation.

I use no apps for battery saving whatsoever, I just charge it when it goes below 7%, usually around 5 to 3%, and charge it fully and leave it after it reaches 100% a few more minutes, maybe 10-15. I charged my phone yesterday around 5 o'clock pm and now its 3:20 pm, so almost a day with not so much heavy usage, just testing some apps. But most of the time I reach 5h almost 6h of sot.

It should. For me, if I charge it in the morning before I go to work, I will charge it again the following day in the afternoon. Keep in mind that I have most of the time (like 90%) data turned on, and wi-fi only when I get back home. I also heavily use wapp, fb, some gaming, browsing and music.

Pros: Full HD AMOLED Display is of High Quality if not the Best. 6GB RAM super smooth multi tasking. 64GB storage space. *** Dash Charge THE BEST out there. Super Smooth OS with excellent customization options. Could be used for atleast 3 years without any issues. Cons: Camera Quality could be a little better. Dude, what are you doing?! I am also using, wapp / fb / ytb / browsing, listening to some music and gaming on the side and I get on a full charge somewhere around 5h30m of sot. (Data turned on most of the time, turned off only when I get home and switch to wi-fi).

For a budget phone, all I can say is this phone is amazing. Bought it from their actual site, after about a month it was shipped from China and got to the USA in about 2 days. Going from a 1440p phone to a 1080p I honestly can't tell the difference as I don't have a TV and use my phone for most my media at around 5-10inches from my face. I hope they stay 1080p for their next phone because unless my eyesight is bad I 1440p content seems to have no noticeable difference and 1080p battery life is quite nice.

So, the issue is that the phone you are describing would cost a whole lot more than the $399 price point the OP3 is shooting for. A 2k (I assume you want that, QHD, not qHD which would be lower rez) screen would be nice but it would hurt the OP3's already on-the-edge battery life (that you also mentioned) and cost more. And yeah, of course, an upgrade from the 298 sensor to the 6p's 377 or the Pixel's 378 would be fantastic but...again, the 298 was picked because of it's cost-to-performance ratio. Better camera sensor=bigger cost.

Long story short. I bought OnePlus 3 in the begging of August. Received defected phone, sent it for replacement and again received defected phone. Then nobody wanted to agree with returning.... Finally after 2 months of avoidance they have agreed and issued return ticket. Phone has been returned and guess what? Now they are avoiding to refund my money! Phone has been under inspection for 9 working days ( their story was inspection takes 3-5 working days). Honestly, this is the worst experience I ever had....

If yeah then I cant blame them. They are fools they don't seem how to use their eyes and sight to admire something worthwhile right in front of them they start looking for faults. The phone is very good for the price tag, but where it fall short on breath is the battery life. Its a mixed bag honestly its totally dependent on your usage and it may vary on a daily basis every day isn't going to be a busy day, if it is going to be a very busy day then carry a power bank with you and don't forget the C-type cable else it won't charge your device. Some expert users say the phone battery life can be increased by changing to a CUSTOM ROM, which I'm planning to move to as well on my OP3 so, I suggest you pick the phone up if your planning to buy one, the sweetest part of buying this phone is the warranty doesn't go void when you move to a custom ROM how many phone manufacturers you know out there who offers this to their customers? Nobody but Oneplus so, take a dive you're in safe hands.
