OnePlus 7T Pro - User Reviews

  • There are no distortion in the edges. The curved screen doesn't hamper functionality which I also feared. The haptic and touch is awesome in 7T Pro. I don't know about 7T. I also hate curved screen. But 7T pro is different. Clean software, vibrant display will make your daily experience better. The battery is also very good. No heat ups. Always snappy. I used pixel devices before but I guess I will always buy OnePlus from now.

  • Please help me clarify few doubts...!!!!!! 1. Is the phone Too Heavy for primary/daily use.. 2. Any Battery or Heating issue.. 3. POPUP CAMERA: -How is it's Durability?? -Does it accumulate Dust/Debris/Smudges on use?? -Does its Lens, Scratch over with time due to dust collected during on & off of popup 3. Where to buy Good Flawless Tempered glass in India online?? Please need ur urgent help..!!!!!!

  • I want to know are there any Issues while using CURVED DISPLAY like:- • EXCESS GLARE/REFLECTION under light around its edges • Image/Video/Text DISTORTION around edges • Do the Curved Screen edges make the screen feel NARROWER than it is • Increase in FALSE TOUCH • Difficult to READ/WRITE TEXT around the edges • Reduced Durability • Functionality issues • Chance of Breakage Really confused between 7t Pro & 7t..??? Price not a factor, only above doubts are confusing me. Please need ur genuine help guys!!!!

  • You need a trolley to carry this phone around. Too heavy

  • hello, you can also consider huawei and some of the xiaomi models. samsung gets slower over time. huawei does not.

  • samsung gets laggy after a year or two which is ridiculous. I am an ex Samsung user, got Huawei and Xiaomi and also an iPhone too. Chinese brands these days offer consistent performance over years. They don't get slow over time.

  • samsung? samsung lag like fk

  • Using this phone for a week. I am an iPhone user. But I am surprised to see the smoothness of it. Very snappy and fast. I could never settle in an Android phone for long time. But this one is different. Display and haptic is awesome. Battery life , signal reception, call quality top notch. Much better than iPhone XS Max I am using.

  • OnePlus is entering territory where they can't win. I can buy the Galaxy S10+ now for 650 euros which is almost 100 bucks cheaper than the OP7 Pro and the Galaxy camera blows out the OP out of the water easily. People who are ready to spend 700 bucks are easily gonna spend extra 100 or 200 in order to get top experience, including camera performance, IP rating, wireless charging. Cutting corners does not work in the top tier segment

  • Yesp. Go down the hill

  • What is not heavy for you? S10e?

  • That's just one of the several excuses they like to come up with. You want to know the REAL reason? Moto already knew from rumours that Apple was going to ditch the headphone jack, so they wanted to be the first ones the ditch it before Apple does. Don't know what they gain from being the first ones. Probably just gives them first hand to capitalize.

  • oneplus in the upcoming oneplus 8 series will be equipped with wireless charging, which includes its brothers (realme oppo vivo), but I can't wait any longer, The McLaren version makes me breathtaking, im preordered it a week ago

  • Oneplus is my favor always ,since no function failed ,SW updated from 3T to now.

  • so when 8 comes.. this one is a heavy brick, without SD card, without Qi, without jack.. i am forgetting this brand slowly.. sold my 6T in favor of S10 and Mi9. In future, i am willing to sacrifice only 1 of 3 holy features (SD, Qi, jack) and will never accept heavy phones.

  • The OnePlus 7T Pro/McLaren Edition also have a larger battery as well as a snapdragon 855+ processor also the McLaren Edition with be 5G on T Mobile network here in the US

  • There is no notch with the Pro. Instead the selfie camera is motorized

  • I literally don't see any difference between this one and 7 PRO, other than the extra 85Mhz batter added. Is it just me or this one's worthless?

  • Why they need IP rating.. Its rubbish. They chose not to to keep cost down. "IP certification cost money" As long as it is waterproof i will take their word for it. Tons of videos on Youtube with waterproofing test. The 3.5mm jack removal is still a conundrum to me. If the phone is to thin, fine, but if it is all about space? rubbish from manufacturers. Components gets smaller each year. If i can put a headphones with USB-C into the charging port and get sound, then it is cool enough for me. Most likely i will ditch cable soon. Have loved it so far, but now its time to move on into technology land. Adapt or die..

  • if where you are had such a solid point then industury should have stopped making SdCards and earphones with 3.5mm Its makes a huge difference! with 3.5mm jack its 100% successful connectivity all the time guaranteed where earbuds may not connect & you have to baby sit earbuds for charging and from dropping and loosing it! , and wired earphones aren't dependent on you thatmuch! cloud storage ARE NOT FREE specially when it comes to storing raw images! some don't even support that! while MOBILE PHONES are going 48mp triple cameras and 4k video support which will be 8k soon (perhaps with 1tb storagei internal) but in %age space occupied will be the same, you will have limited frabric of free space to enjoy! where if you have sdcard slot! you can just keep replacing it and storing data and accessing data FREE! where lets argument sake you get free storage somewhere but accessing downloading stored file will cost you your planned 4g data! i am always gonna buy phone having all the bells! even if i have to make compromise on high end processor and or screen size/type!

  • Theres no point of buying a smartphone, expecting a 3.5mm jack, memory slot. Then why the BT5, and free cloud services are there (Microsoft, Google etc)?

  • Those who can't accept buying a smartphone without memory expansion slot, no 3.5mm jack, no radio, IP68 rating, and any other shortcoming, please buy other smartphone. I am the one who really want all these features in my daily life. Maybe Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, or last year Note 9 are the only pick. Or, I would turn to midrange smartphone that still offer these feature.

  • It's not true. Self camera is good enough on OP7pro. I had that phone too. Don't lie if you don't know

  • Honor 8 had USB-C and Jack.

  • They should've added the Quad DAC for audiophiles. It's a great feature most mobile phone companies fails to do.

  • The headphone jack was removed because of the introduction of USB Type C. It was impossible to send analog audio through USB before hand. The Moto Z was the first phone to get rid of it.

  • You should install and use gcam .

  • Apple is the most evil business of all. Look at how they ruined the consumer market after they removed the headphone jack. They knew other companies would follow their footsteps, thus legitimizing their removal of the jack. All this to maximize their profits even more. Greedy b4st3rds.

  • With three years of security patches

  • def poor selfie camera. confirmed I owned 7pro and sold it. EVERYTHING else is amazing! But slefie cam is like on a 150$ phone it is totally not acceptable even for the other massive PROS of the phone!

  • So a bigger battery by 85mAh with a poor selfie camera? I mean I have the normal 7Pro and so far its doing good! And I expected maybe different RAM x ROM collab let's say 12GB 512GB or 8GB 512GB or something....

  • hey guys how are you ? please can you guide me i have the nokia 7 plus since it came out i love the battery the use everything about it since i'm not the gaming dude nor the camera lover going from my 7 to these one is it a right choice ? i now its better in gpu cpu screen camera but i want to be like wow i really feel that i made a good choice in general appreciation and thanks

  • Sorry is the phone out on sale already???

  • Selfie front camera has poor performance! Only reason this is not my phone. I mean 200$ device poor performance level!

  • Is 2

  • Not true - OnePlus phones get up to 3 years of software updates, and not only that, cost significantly less than other flagship phones.

  • Hello all, Your review for this handset is helping alot to me. Regarding this device I have a query for you, hope you'll guide me well. In Amazon.in, if you see the "Details/features" part in "Manufacturer" row you'll find as "TEST". Why? Should I buy this device? Or is it a test model given by OnePlus? The original variant will come? Is it not from OnePlus? Because in OnePlus 7 pro models under manufacturer it's written "OnePlus" only, for all variants. Is it ok to buy?

  • no microsd - Well, I barely need a MicroSD card. I just plug my USB-C to USB-A to my USB 3.1 compliant computer and I'm done. no audio jack - Popularity is not a factor for that. It should always be great sound output. I'm an Audiophile Gamer and wire-like zero latency and crisp music is a must and I want to share that feeling to everyone who game or not game but loves listening music. Removing the jack is an injustice. Something a business criminal would do. no fm radio - I need FM Radio in this cr@ppy internet country known as Philippines. Would Spotify notify you for news when a power outage and disasters strike? I DON'T THINK SO! Having Qualcomm put FM Radio chips in the flagship chipset is a nice touch and I hope most companies enable that.

  • Personally idc about the lack of sd card, 3,5mm jack and ip68 because there is no need for an sd (256 gb is enough),Bluetooth headphones and unofficial waterproof confirmed. My real concern is the curved screen, the efficiency of the battery, and the size. Yes the phone is a slightly better copy of the 7 pro,and it takes a lot criticize about it but it is still a very good phone and nobody mentions that...just saying. Good upgrade from my Oneplus 5.

  • For waterproofing, removal of the headphone jack is not needed. Also, it's not really "ip 68" without the certification as you mentioned, because "ip 68" is the certification.

  • no microsd - 256 GB is quite enough for everything, no audio jack - wireless headphones are quite popular already, otherwise just buy any cheap jack to type-c, no fm radio - seriously? why do you need it when there are Spotify and tons of other services, no irda - for what?

  • onerpluses the most overrated android phones ever... always no microsd, no audio jack, no fm radio, no irda.... Those modern phones are horrible connectivity wise, always worsening, always keeping out simple but useful features

  • Latest oneplus device are ip68 waterproff they just dint pay for the certification to keep the price low, you can tell with the lack of the headphone jack and rubber seal on the sim tray that the device is protected from water and dust.

  • As far as I know, wifi 6 is significantly faster than wifi 5. To be able to experience wifi 6, you not only need a device (phone, tablet, laptop) that supports this wiresless standard but also a router that supports it. And a wifi 6 router costs a lot.

  • Did you know? OnePlus did provide IP68 level protection on that phone. It's just that OnePlus don't want to have that certified. Yeah, Ingress Protection is just an official certificate and an extra payment. They made it cheaper because one of them is to not have it certified but they guarantee that it's just as water resistant as the certified ones. Yeah, you can dunk your OnePlus 7T Pro in fresh underwater and it'll be fine.

  • What is wifi 6? Is it much faster?

  • Oneplus need to add 3.5mm jack & IP68 feature to their high budget phone... Then it can be a best flagship mobile...

  • I agree, in your case iPhone is not flagship, Samsung note 10+ isn't flagship, mate 30 pro is not flagship at all. Nice argument 👌

  • Because k20pro is not flagship, that's all about

  • Gd decision to buy xioami phone one plus are not a brand of those people who are middle class their phone are much more higher price k20pro is better choice

  • agree 100%

  • small battery, no audio jack, disappointment OP.

  • Oneplus was a great product for me until they started going for big and heavy phones. those sizes and weighted phones are targeted for geeks only. please Oneplus, go back to normal sizes phones or release a OneMinus version of your phones.

  • 760 euros for a no name phone with a software support probably for the time until the next phone comes out. I d rather buy an older iphone or samsung.

  • Sarcasm??

  • oneplus think they're apple i rather buy a xiaomi

  • "Best phone coming into the market" 3.5 mm jack: No It is a contradiction, the truth value of your argument is false.

  • its a sign of high quality manufacturing process . and when it splash you will hope it have .

  • the weight of brick as always

  • I was a oneplus fan and i will be in future, but if they do things like this than i have surely got the right to criticize them.bcoz they disapointed the very basic oneplus lover community.

  • It is the best phone of the year

  • Oneplus 7t pro should have a 12 GB ram variant non mclaren version

  • A flagship device needs: - 3.5mm jack and high-quality audio DAC - microSD card slot - replacable battery (by the customer) - ... These are the basics every phone shall have, a touted "flagship" device moreso!

  • Is it really Gorilla Glass 6, can't find any evidence of that.

  • where is that ir blaster come ooooooon!!!

  • According to the review its a perfect smartphone coming in tge market. OnePlus 7T Pro full specifications

  • One Plus 7T Pro Max Plus limited edition😂😂😂

  • is it worth buying 1+7 t or not .

  • Mediocre specs? More like top notch specs you newb.....

  • Still no IPX rating. No wifi 6. Shame

  • What do you mean mediocre specs?

  • Who is going to buy this insanely priced mobile phone with mediocre specs? In this age of stiff competition, it should have been priced around 500-550 dollars.

  • ip rating is not at all a major thing . we do not splash water every moment to our phone, wireless charging is not a problem , but headphone jack is matter .

  • OnePlus is making hater now i guess. Think about who bought OnePlus 7 few months ago.

  • Really dissatisfaction comes from these product lineup. They listened what? Did they bring wireless charging? Headphone jack? No ip rating? (Yes of course to reduce price but it already seems expensive) isn't it??

  • Its a overpriced phone

  • I hate how Oneplus is now trying to be something they aren't, like they used to be like a budget king or flagship killer, but now they are too expensive to be any of those. But I'm not hating, they still make great phones, but adding new features other phones don't and wanting to keep a low price doesn't go together. And 4 phones in 1 year, almost being the exact same, it's stupid.

  • Thats why android world is weird and bad (and thats cause I have a S10). They just released the 7 pro, now they come up with 7T Pro... what about the people who like the brand, gonna have to buy it AGAIN? thats i why i like apple, its one thing and thats it, no surprises.

  • A 5 year old would not care about: 1) Protecting their camera lens from smudges without having to think about it 2) Built in privacy protection 3) Complete screen real estate The popup camera is an incredible innovation. You just can't wrap you're head around it. If you don't want the world's best computer phone, that's fine, but you do not have to be insulting to a company that works very diligently to do things well.

  • Hater!!!!!!

  • Just feeling disappointed from oneplus after seeing the launch of oneplus 7t pro, they just erasing the very basic strength and values which this company is made up of. Sad & highly disappointed.

  • too expensive Small battery no ip68 no 3.5mm jack No wireless charging Disappointment oneplus

  • 256gb/8gb worth 402$ for starting & after two month must drop to 365$ after four months 325$

  • they just learned make new names pro, pro 2, plus pro, mclaren, porsche nothing particular just making them taller & taller 163mm & too expensive no more battery no ip68 no 3.5mm jack

  • How can you be disappointed if was dropped in the 6T you must of known it wouldn't get one

  • Comparatively smaller battery (6.67" QHD+ screen), needed a 4500mAh battery 🔋. Mid-range camera setup. NO!

  • Wait you don't think that oneplus is going to do the same crap they did last year. Release another phone month later. Oneplus did say they are going release a second 5g phone.

  • I think the realme x2 pro is better deal (not talking about os)

  • No 5g?

  • Said No one. lol

  • I'm 35 and have a pop-camera phone (1+7pro), and I love it. Gorgeous screen with no ugly notch. An added benefit for the privacy paranoid people, you know that your front camera is not silently watching you without your consent!

  • Wait until the price changes then buy it then

  • Why is no headphone jack a big deal because every major smartphone company has done it on their flagships. I’ve had no headphone jack for 2 years and I had no problem

  • They shoulda stuck to 6.2" 1080p+, kept the card slot and 3.5mm - thereby almost halfing the price and tripling the sales. I'd have bought it. But I can't afford this tricked-out giant AF "flagship" crap.

  • no 3.5 mm jack very disappointed

  • Pop up cameras on smartphones look like something my 5yr old would rave about.

  • If you don't like the google services, just buy one that comes with HydrogenOS.

  • There are very fast SD cards like Adata Premier ONE (UHS-II V90). It has nothing to do with trust. Do you have RAM in your PC? Or do you say: The CPU cache is enough, I do not trust RAM modules? The interface is well specified, and the SD card can be accessed from two sides at the same time, using MTP from the PC side. Of course, you need to look for benchmarks. A Samsung employee has written somewhere that an S5 supports high speed (100 MB/s), but it does not with Adata Premier ONE 256 GB. Afterwards I have found official Samsung recommendation: max. 128 GB, and I added a cheaper card (SanDisk Extreme 128 GB V30) for now. I want to do sports videos (120 fps) and analyze movements in detail later.

  • M only interested to see this Phone dimension and weight...Bought many 7 pro for my clients

  • Too bad you can not uninstall google's spy/malware apps.

  • Notchless, sd855+, stereo speakers, Android 10, AMOLED, UFC YES JUST YES!!! No SD card and Audio jack? Is there a phone which has everything I want? Can't we start ordering phones according to specs we want yet like a PC?

  • I'd have it but no wireless charging and no card slot. Nice looking device, decent size, decent camera... But without those two again NO SALE. :-(

  • OnePlus is coming out with new phones within 6 months. You will feel the current top model being the best, then you will see an even better version come out. It will go on.

  • this is rumor

  • If there's a 5g version please have a X55 modem.

  • WOW corning gorilla glass 6, 85+ mAh, SD 855(+), worse screen? You're breaking my heart OP, if I knew you would release this beast I wouldn't have wasted my money on the 7 pro.

  • QI charging is not needed, is it fancy? sure. but imo it is obsolete... it is so slow sure it saves the charger port but it is inefficient

  • Well i am a heavy gamer and when i have free time and nothing to do i can play games for several hours so a fast charger would be plus for me.

  • Well, its fast already, for example Huawei is making 27W on their new Mate 30 series, not fast enough?? Many Oneplus fans are repeating words of CEO, that QI is not needed etc. But for many people considering oneplus after samsung and other phones, this is really a lost. I was using wireless charging since my S7, now on Note 8, and this is very convenient method for me. I am not a speed maniac, to charge my phone in 30 min, btw who needs that, if you put your phone on a night?

  • It doesnt matter what produces or not. Only it matters is not the tec of the future and because it was already surpased it got removed. Noone is like to add costly technologies wghich require another space for hole and vires inside the phone. Thus it got replaced by a bluetooth audio which some of them are far better than any wired one.

  • The jack produces better sound. FACT!

  • Man bluetooth and wireless speakers, earplugs and earphones in every audio orientated shop. The jack is complete useless now. Back in 1867 when it was invented it was great device but now 150 years after is probably the only analog technology these modern cell phones have.

  • Yes, 3.5 jack is important, anyway, this phone doesn't have a 24bit DAC like the redmi k20 or some of the LG and Sony phones

  • No 3.5 mm jack, no DAC, no MHL support, not sure of Wi-Fi display support. No card slot is ok, we can go upto 256gb storage. Thanks to no notch or that crazy drop design, how did people come out with such a design

  • Yes the battery is very small for this big 90hz screen, and the 3.5 jack is Very important for some.

  • When is this launching? I thought it would be today with the 7t. I hope it launches at the London event on the 10th...

  • Where do you need an SD card anyways? If you really need more than 256gb - the system, then simply get a computer.

  • Well in present era is normal that future tech replacing analog one and the jack is definitely analog technology. Same goes for SD Slot. Cloud storage is future and for the rest of the people a OTG with an external hard drive would do.

  • Like a wireless charging technology is faster than wired one. Man you are soooo clumsy.

  • Man did you ever heard about a cloud storage??? SC card slot or SD card can be damaged.

  • LOL 4085 mAh is small. And who uses stupid jack anyway???

  • Why??? Its just useless gimmick not worth to have. No IP protection gives you water damage warranty so whether you have or dont have IP certification when your phone gets water damage you have to pay expensive repair.

  • The 7T is launched... This 7T Pro is no exist

  • Notchless, sd855+, stereo speakers, Android 10, AMOLED, UFC YES JUST YES!!! No SD card and Audio jack? Is there a phone which has everything I want? Can't we start ordering phones according to specs we want yet like a PC?

  • Lol. You are very smart.. Its just a rumored status not confirmed. So just wait bro

  • That is...not smart

  • Just the phone lmao, clothes are washed every week

  • Same stuff... I've washed it over a hundred times since it came out, so you tell me when it's gonna show up water damage symptoms :>>>

  • Why? Is it too challenging for the OP community or just you?

  • Go to iPhone page with these questions

  • That's why they are giving you the option of OTG. You can use usb c type pendrive

  • And what happens if you don't have a internet connection or signal? You stare at a blank display? I'm a HEAVY power user and I have on my SD card everything I need. OS kits, ROMs, programs, scripts, tutorials, books, image database etc. On the internal memory I only install apps. Nothing else. The idea behind the SD card slot is not necessarily the extra storage space, but a 2nd storage location. As in having 2 hard drives on the pc. I toy around a LOT with the android os and it's system files, especially with extreme debloating. Many times I get into bootloops and I have to hard reset the phone from recovery. If I wouldn't have the SD card slot, I would have to copy all of those every god damn time. This way I can hard reset the phone 10 times per day and NEVER bother with backups. Not to mention that if I brick the phone, I just pop out the SD card and place it in a different one. It's that easy. No internet connection required, no spying cloud services, no cables needed and no crying over forgotten backups. You can even install the whole Android OS on the SD card and boot it from there if you root your phone. If you pop the SD card out, the phone becomes unusable (for geeks or secret agents :)) There are so many things you can do with it I could write a book. I'm definitely not a default user doing default things like taking silly selfies and scrolling endlessly on insta. Maybe for default users it is ok, but for me it's definitely incomplete, thus the rest of the specs are POINTLESS. Also, the new generations of phones will support UHS-II SD cards which will significantly increase the speeds. PS ALWAYS buy expensive original SD cards if you want quality and durability. I plan on getting the 400GB SD card from SanDisk so my future phone deffinetly needs to have the SD slot.

  • Personally, I don't trust SD cards or any external hard drive It's not even creteria today. Internal memory was and is always better choice

  • I think that's a bit harsh. Right now I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 with 32 GB internal storage and a 64 GB SD card, for a total of 96 GB of storage. I store most of my photos and videos in the cloud, so most of my internal storage is just filled up by apps. And I move as many apps as I can to my SD card to help save on internal storage as well. It's definitely tight at times but I can deal with it. This phone meanwhile has 128 GB storage for the base model, which would be more than enough for me. If you store your photos and videos in the cloud then you really only need storage for apps, and downloaded media for apps like Spotify and Netflix. 128 GB is a ton of space for a phone, if you need more you can get the 256 GB option, and then at that point for the majority of users there's really no need to get more storage. The SD card slot was important in past phones because of the relatively small amount of storage in them, but nowadays it's not that big of an issue, especially if you take cloud services into account. Basically what I'm trying to say here is that don't take a lack of an SD card slot as a deal breaker with this phone. It has some impressive specifications and an incredible display, in my opinion the main downside of the phone is its relatively smaller battery. I had hoped they would beef it up a bit ore with the 7T model but whatever.

  • Still without wireless charging, this phone is outdated...

  • I had 6t with 256 gb, now I'm having 7pro 256gb and I'm not using even 50% of it

  • The back looks almost exactly the same as Galaxy S9+, but in a two color gradient. Either way I still wouldn't get one. No SD card slot = NO BUY (the rest of the specs are pointless without the SD slot in my case) NEXT!

  • 5.000 is enough.

  • That battery is not small, you must be either really delusional or your expectations are impossibly high.

  • why dont you go and get 10000mah chinese phones then?

  • wireless charging ? then i will buy

  • I don't think so kuz it wasn't in the options

  • Small battery pack, again no 3.5 jack, bye bye oneplus.

  • 65 watt support

  • This better have a 12gb ram option

  • You do realise it's water resistant not water PROOF. It'll damage your phone more and more if you keep " washing " it with a lot water. Keep that in mind.

  • is it a phone or cloths that you wash everyday!!! lol :D

  • The 7 Pro is already waterproof. It's just not certified because that costs more money. I wash mine every day with a lot of water. Even the popup camera has raised several times to do face unlock while I wash it (you know water makes touch screens go crazy) and nothing has happened yet.

  • why is this phone is going to be launched ? can't see the difference with the 7pro apart from the new fancy colors and GG6

  • still no hndfree! OPO didnt learn.

  • No wifi6??

  • Because of the pop-up camera mechanism

  • its rumored.

  • nice phone sd 855+

  • No ip68?
