  • I bought R15 Pro yesterday but the phone keeps on going to default settings. I put pass codes and finger scan and change wallpaper but after a few minutes, when I unlock the phone, all settings are gone.. No Pass code there, no finger scan, wallpaper going back to original. is anyone else facing the same issue? and is there a solution?

  • I can pair and connect with my car bluetooth but phone contacts not uploaded. Bluetooth panel only showed connection for Phone Audio and Media Audio and no indication for contact sharing. I tried using Samsung Galaxy S5 with the same car bluetooth and contacts uploaded upon pairing and connection. Samsung bluetooth panel showed contacts allowed for access.Therefore I deduce the problem is with my R15. I emailed customer care for a solution and they asked for a video. I sent them a screenshot of R15 showing only connection for Phone Audio and Media Audio and they still insist on a video. I do not understand what a video will tell them as I do not have a baisc pairing/connection problem.

  • Since the latest software upgrade on this phone I have found my phone calls sometime go straight to voicemail - the phone doesn't even ring when I sit next to it. I get the text message for the a voicemail notification. I call them back and I'm like sorry the phone didn't even ring. I then test it and it appears fine. This has happened to me twice today. When I am in a call, it sometimes goes to hold, or even though the mute is not on the phone will cut in and out and people can't hear me - typically when I am stationery.

  • not a bright prospect for this one. they probably gonna price this quite high. but why use a mediatek processor for a phone that does not look like it is gonna be a mid range phone? u dont use mediatek in a, what looks like a flagship....

  • For this price, who cares? this is crazy high price for a device with a Mediatek chip and microUSB (!). Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is cheaper and far far far better than this, as well as Zenfone 5.

  • I bought the R15, very good, however it does not have all the languages, such as Spanish and Portuguese. You do not have the google APP packet.

  • will never buy an oppo again. oppo makes some great phone but many things are just signs of laziness ::: 1. pathetic, lousy custom care and after sales service - no update for os, i paid a lot for a r9s plus and till now the marshmellow, yes marshmellow is yet to be updated to oreo or even nougat. my asus zenfone 3 deluxe which is about 9 months older than the oppo got an update all the way to oreo, now that great customer service. 2. reasonable camera but again lousy app 3. horrid pull down notification popup, barren and boring. not user friendly at all 4. complicated sdcard installation, other phone only need you to insert the card and then its auto-pilot from there on. oppo needs root permission. wtf !!! no, will never buy an oppo again.

  • Oppo's ColorOS is arguably one of the worst Android skins on market, worse than Huawei. And personally I refuse to buy a any phone with a Mediatek chip, regardless of price. If a budget or midrange phone is what you want, get a phone with Snapdragon 6XX. If you want a cheap Chinese phone, get a Xiaomi.

Yes, l do agree with you about Oppo not keeping with the updates to with Android but l hear this is different with the R15. That's why they missed the R12,13,14 and have decided to face Iphone head on in the market!!

  • First of all, Mediatek makes system on chip! CPU is only a part of system on chip. About CPU itself, P60 use cortex A73 and A53, same one used on Kirin 960, 970, they have really close performances to "so-called" Kryo 260 on S636 and S660 or Kryo 280 on S835

  • The functional implementation of the notch were to house the optical hardwares at the top of the phone due to fact the the sides and the bottom bezels were totally eliminated. The iPhone X's design was due to the fact the they removed all but the top bezels which houses their faceID hardware. Now the Androids were only following the aesthetics of the notch but NOT the elimination of the bottom bezel. The bottom bezel is such an eyesore.

  • I used iphone for like 5 years, then I tried the oppo r11 my sister left as she bought an iphone x. Then I became a fan of oppo. It is much better than my iphone 6s, although there are some aspects of android that I don't like. Today I noticed that r15 is coming soon, I'll definitely buy one.

  • Nice phone, yes, it has a notch, but what saddens me is the lack of USB type C. It's 2018... In this price range, come on, it is a standard. Asus Zenfone 5 is a better option, in my opinion.

  • OP5T and Oppo R11 also has small batteries but still great battery life. Good software optimization, a efficient chipset and a relativly low screen resolution will result in good battery life for R15.
