What is this!! Why all are giving such negative comments.. I am using ELUGA icon since Nov 2015 and its going to be of 2 years. The performance is too good.... Good for multitasking...the led notification indicator is very useful. I am really inspired by the speaker which can be heard from two rooms...the earphones are better than my sony. Horrible horrible horrible!! Very bad touch response and feel.Panasonic UI sucks. Camera picture very grainy..irritating special features...no volte and the WORST PART is the AUDIO quality.. Even with good quality earphones very horrible music quality.. Much better phones are available at this package.

firstly my phone got a problem in regard to the sound.its not working at a proper note. i have to plug in the headphones to make a call . Secondly i'm not being able to screenshot and idk why. Thirdly many new apps goes unsupported even though my phone's all upgraded.

It can be fixed by the help of earphones by connecting the earphones to the phone and play a song in full volume and then after half song played suddenly take your earphones out from the smartphone hole.. It might fix

I purchased this phone a month ago. I purchased this because of good reputation of Panasonic Company. Its getting heated up when I am operating Internet or facebook or while playing some game on it. Initially I thought Its due to some application or some app. but even after putting off those apps it is happening. I don't know what is the policy of the company regarding such devices or such shortcoming s with the device. But one thing is sure, I request all the new buyers to be aware of such products or take into account this particular comment with seriousness before purchasing new device. It has been two weeks since I bought Panasonic Eluga Icon. In the beginning I was so skeptic about the performance & about the quality of the device as in spite of being a famous Japanese name, it was novice in the field of cell phone market. I started using the device and it surprised me with its performance as well as quality. Most important things I liked are: -in spite of heavy 3G usage ( have sporadic wifi access ) the phone remained cool, no heating at all. -Phone only got little warm after 3 hours of continuous skype, -Great battery backup, after general usage, got to charge on next day only. -Front Camera is great, it is 5 MP worth. -Back Camera, is 13 MP and even flash port is small, it gives abundant light (comparable with other high end phones such as Xperia z1) -Notification light at the top of the phone is added star to its design, and keeps updated about any missed calls and messages (even internet calls or messages). -well I have not been able to use 4G service, but the phone supports 4G too. - Phone doesn't hang for any of the work I do. ( I keep clearing RAM.) Things I am not satisfied with: - back cover not availabe in the market yet (I am from Nepal) -must use screen guard as there is no mention of shatterproof glass. -supports only original charger.(when connected to other chargers, it gives info and stops charging in few mins) -BIGGEST CONS : is its running OS version, KITKAT, though no function is altered, but recent OS would add 5 start to the phone. Overall: In my view for those who use phones extensively, and want not to invest much on the phone, this is the best choice they can make. This phone made me feel awesome and hope it will satisfy your expectation too ( unless the phone you get is defective from factory ).

I had purchased Panasonic Eluga Icon from Amazon in Rs.10999/- on 17th Aug 2015. On 11th Nov. 2015, phone slept from my hand and its screen broken. The falling distance was not more than 2 feet. The service centre of Panasonic informed that its repair cost will be Rs.8250/-. As the height was not more than 2 feet so it is confirm that Panasonic company before launching its phone, don't take crash test or quality check.

Positives: 1. Stylish look 3. Very good RAM and ROM storage capacity 3. Easy handling 4. Long Battery back up Negatives: 1. The rear camera protrudes outside the body. Unless you use a flip cover there are chances that the camera may get scratches 2. Even the basic apps like weather, notes etc. which are available in a low cost Samsung phone is not in this mobile. You need to download these apps 2. Warning pop ups (when you want to delete the messages) has typo errors. (ii) Long pressing on certain text messages don't workout to give the options. You have to go to home button to select the option which is not so friendly 3. Poor customer care (when i mailed the above issues I was asked to simply to take the phone to a service dealer due to software issues Verdict: If you don't mind the above problems you can go for it as I don't find any other issue with the mobile. To be frank I love it though I find the above issues. But if you are concerned, Lenovo K3 Note is a better option

Its a good phone ! No other phone offers such specs at this price range ! Who says that camera is bad ? Its good really good ! Under some conditions the cameras of every phone fail ! Face beauty and blink play are additional plus points ! Very nice battery backup ! Rear camera and front camera can click both the views in the same pic ! Slim , light and good looks ! The only drawback is the inability to read regional Indian languages especially Punjabi ! It makes the owner feel a but down when some other person is having a phone in his hand that reads them ! Otherwise its a real good phone !

I m also user of Panasonic eluga icon in fact it's performance is good in batt.backup n also in its features, but after using some time. finally I would say for eluga's camera quality front 5 mp it is about average but back 13 mp is not like as 8 mp I'll proof that whenever we would say about mp its clear till its images size KB or mb but u know its front cameras pic is 1.09 mb and back which is 13 mp u surprise its poor quality pic only 1.13 mb so there is no different in 5 and 13 mp camera it is cheat us by company so don't buy this Micromax Samsung r better that Panasonic good in camera quality if u r not satisfy than please call me 8808154214

If you are to go for camera quality then go for Samsung which is having F1.9 aperture means it takes great photos for sure whereas PEI has F2.2 aperture (lesser the aperture value greater is the picture quality) so far LG G4 has best F1.8 aperture and thus takes great pictures of all smartphones and forget about no of mega pixels now a days as almost all mobile phone companies cheats us with higher mega pixels phones(Eg: 8MP of Iphone takes best quality pics than 13MP of other phones). Hope this review of mine is helpful in camera aspect, n for good battery backup,faster gaming usages then go for PEI, I can you further details review on each aspect but it will be a biggest reply/Comment of all time :)

I bet no HTC Sony Samsung beat Panasonic many points are true Samsung :- none of d Samsung phones done good job except camera quality and flash ( poor displays not even single model have good speaker quality hangs like a hell Sony :- too costly phone design not good at all camera good job speakers good job HTC :- hell brand camera really bad Panasonic :- displays every models have perfect displays Look wise not even iPhone can beat faboules looks and camera extraordinary cameras its really equal to Samsung because intex 13mp is equal to Panasonic's 5mp

Samsung j5 is better because Samsung j5 is powered by 1.2 ghz quad core (Qualcomm Snapdragon ) processor which is the one of the powerful processors. J5 also have latest Android version 5.1 lollipop. 1.5 GB RAM which makes it best.

Hi Friend, Eluga Icon is one of the new 4G smartphone from panasonic. This phone has got 13 mp back camera, which is okay with nice video recording quality too. Front camera is said as 8mp but dont expect anything more than 5mp. But the best aspects of this phone is its processing speed,display quality,sound quality, touch response,light weight,SAR value is low. Simcards are in side slot and are micro slots. This phone offers nice battery backup as well. Overall this phone is perfect. Only 2 things we need to adjust is 1.front camera,2. covers for this phone is not available.

this phone is exactly of the alcatel one touch. So I will never say that it has a bad processor. This phone is made to clearout all the existing stock of alcatel onetouch. *The 13mp camera seems to be not much powerful so I suggest to look for another phone

It is Alcatel. Panasonic probably sign an agreement to sell their product under their brand. The Alcatel Onetouch Flash Plus is not selling well ever since it got release last May. There are still too many unsold stock and they decided to do exactly this.
