I've used this phone for three years and I think it's a good phone. I've never changed the battery,the picture quality is superb. However, I'm unable to download ringtones and I can't change the housing. Aside these, x500 is a great phone

4 months since ive purchased it, I dont like it. Slow, illogical placement of punctuation and numbers for texting, bad battery life. Only up side is the cute design and the game Othello.

Hi Guys n Gals I just want 2 share my exp. with X500 its a very good phone having a g8 camera clearity & voice quality & no words 4 looks n i have gone throw every bodys opinion dey need bluetooth init wants megapixel camera, need mp3 compatibility, To me all dey forget how much money dey spend. If u compare with any 1 of NOKIAs r with Others high end Mobile it has a very good thing a full screen pict call id. I do agree with dat it needs some time 2 reboot after every time when u switch on & also a few sec. of video rec.

i am using this phone from past three months it is a wonderful phone with all the standard features.but the defects are that it should be istalled with a better and a higher version of camera,like atleast 2 megapixels and the display screen should be a bit larger as 1\2 an inch wholely.it should be installed with bluetooth,edge,and wifi.and it should be given a memory slot and a capacity to support atleast 1gb memory power .

I got this handphone 2 year ago and also still use it. It easy to use. I like the short cut on the screen and small for carry to anywhere. I know it can't (or very difficult) transfer any data to computer but this phone is old so u can't expect if compare with the lastest phone, it will show low quality for u.I like sms option very much because u can know when your sent sms appear on your friend's handphone. Disadvantage of this phone is short life-time of battery. I plan to change this phone to new one for my work but I still feel good that I know panasonic phandphone.

One of the crappiest telephone i have ever seen around not only just owned, i bought it about two years ago, battery lasts nothing! after you store some pics it takes 3 mins to reboot before u can start doing anything, connettivity to computer is not possible , you have to buy an impossible to find cable, in Uk i cant send mms not even O2 is able to set it up !i just can't wait to have few pounds to get rid of it, I would never advice it to anyone!!!!! i think i will bin it when i have anew mobile, th emost frustrating mobile i have ever had!

YOU do not want to get tis phone it is rubbish..the camera is earely good quality but most of the time its not..after a while the on and off button stops working...it turns of on its own...takes ages to load when turned on it wont even let you call any one...video only records for 7secs...charger doesnt connect properly...the case starts sliding off at any random time...the speaker you speak through breaks and it is useless...the paint scratches off.it is by far the worst phone ever.oh yeh and it freezes!

Hi, i have a phone like this for abt 2 months, would juz like to share some basic info that i feel that is not so good in this phone. Hope you guys will not mind :) 1. When i am calling in a noisy place, i always hear my own background through the phone, and the other party's voice sounds very unclear that sometimes i mistaken my dad for my mum! 2. My friend complained to me that when talking to me on this phone, my voice will sound very filttered and unclear. 3. The messaging is not good. Although it has dictionary in sms, but it cannot save the words that you want in the dictionary like Nokia and Samsung can. Some words like "nite", which they don't have, you would have to switch to the non-dic format then type it one by one. 4. The voice recording is VERY limited and like a few seconds only. 5. The ringing tones are very soft and little variety! 6. There is NO video recording at all! (which i do not understand why it is stated that it has on this website) 7. Playing games consume ALOT of battery. I only play 2 games of reversi after charging full, then the battery becomes half! Overall: Sleek, small, usable, nice design, cute, light, good VGA as compared to other VGAs i've seen so far. You should get it if you like a phone to be small, compact, and high-class looking!

I bought this phone but was not really impressed with its features. if you recieve a ringtone you can save it but not have it set as your ring tone. in regards to accessories they are really hard to find and the talk time is only about an hour so you would have to charge the phone up every night

u get easily bored with this. i got mine nd now cnt find da datacable for it.. the sliding part gets very easily scrached. nd the set becomes very loose. its size is huge its weiredly bulky.charge stays for 2 days. cam is average nothin too impressive.. but like the frames in it.photolight is a joke.

Hey, I love this phone apart from the fact that the screen sometimes dies and the phone restarts. There is a problem with the MMS and WAP settings in the UK. But I think the display bugs me so much, when the slider is down it luks fine, but when u reveal the keypad, the display appears to have lines on it, and sometimes the display can go all fuzzy and appear to be unable to handle the display!I hope this is not a reacuring problem, as it may cause me to get rid of this very good phone. and similar problems for anyone....share the sorrow!! Hi guys, Listen up.... I bought this phone for my wife a couple of months ago, the slider started to get stuck and runs down and up easily when the phone is turned upside down.. Second AND MOST IMPORTANT, the screen switched to mirror display which means from right to left, and yesterday the screen became all white, and the keypad doesn't work anymore, take my advice. Don't buy any of Panasonic Products when it comes to mobiling. Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Siemens, Samsung, they have more experience in mobile telecommunications, and their devices don't face such problems.. Just a tip...

I bought this phone last November and overall it is quite a nice phone, the pics are quite nice, the memory is not bad and the battery life is ok. But now that I am running of space for pictures and videos I realised the difficulties of transferring files: no Infrared and no bluetooth! I have bought two cables already, each for 15 GBP but still no connection in my computer (Using DataSuite 8). Perhaps it is because the driver for the cable MA-8350 is quite old (2003). Anyone here able to connect to PC? Thanks!!!

MMS needs to be set to your provider (ie vodaphone) or mms attempts will fail. Example: menu-browser-settings-select provider (in Australia preset with alternative providers- turn handset off to reset. I phoned my provider help line and they talked me thru process.

hi everyone.it seems that ever1 has trouble sending pxt or mms well i know for a fact where you got ur fone from they need to activate the pxt so u can send and recieve pictures if not ul only eva b able to take pictures so go back to ur dealer and get them to activate it! hope it works!

Excelent phone, good quality photo and image. I bought since a couple of month and i very happy, great desing and funtion, the mms mesagges works, only that you have to do is configure with the especifications of your cell phone company. there is just one problem the battery life (one day with mediun use). But it is better resolution and funtion than other i have photo and video id for calls i never see these in other cells phones.

Good in design and ringtone. No infrared and no bluetooth will cause problem in transfer data. Also can't expand the memory also cause lots of problem because the internal memory is small. Camera resolution a bit low.

ultimate.. its so small, so cool! wonder when its coming though.. coz its wad i need, somthing simple and small. the design looks funky too!! i doubt the camera quality will be good though. but i will just take it as a plus point, i rather use my digi cam that does wad its supposed to do. why samsung? why not nokia? they came up with the slider option first(7650). if so it will be samsung copying nokia! I like Pana phones but I don't like sliding phones. I find the Siemens SL65 ugly and I have the same feeling with this model.
