Philips 868 - User Reviews

  • this phone is like th ugliest phone eva!!! narsty!!!!...:(

  • this mobile will never come in market

  • I just threw up a little in my mouth when i looked at this phone... Ewww....

  • ITs nice very nice , but what about price ?????????? if it wiil be resinable ...i will have to think abot it then ...cam 2 MPx , its grate ....

  • "comming soon" since 2q 2005??!! whats wrong philips? do you think we are fool? stop playing with our good sense, please.

  • The GSMArena information about this Philips phone is not true. Look this... The next model basing on the Philips 766 is the Philips 868. There are some design changes applied, the antenna is internal, and a 2 MP (CMOS) camera appeared. The dimensions are comparable to the Philips 760, and the body quality is similar also. What is interesting, Siemens plans to launch the same product under the name of Siemens CF70. Here are the main characteristics of the device: * GSM 900/1800/1900 * Dimensions: 92x45x26 mm, volume 70 cc * Weight: 110 g * Internal screen: 262К TFT, 2", 176x220 pixels * External screen, 65K cSTN, 1", 96x64 pixels * ROM 8 MB * miniSD connector * 2 MP camera, the max resolution 1600x1200 pixels * Video in 3GPP, up to 30 Fps, QCIF * Flash * 64-tones polyphony * MP3 player, mp3 files as a call melody * Java * IrDA * USB 1.1 * WAP 2.0 * Photo or a video clip assigned to a name in the phone book * Voice dialing * Battery 750 mAh Li-Ion (up to 150 hours in the standby mode, talk time up to 330 minutes)

  • Thies phone is nice and I don t care if it hasnt bluetooh, cause I dont have money, so I reaaly dont care about it. But its a nice phone

  • bluetooth is important and price is more important

  • NO BLUETOOTH?? What a pity.. Well, I think it'll be better if this phone has BLUETOOTH...

  • well it is the only flip phone with a touchscreen :)

  • philips what the hell happening to u n no blue tooth n only mp3 n is that all u have n how r u going to market this product n i dont like the way u produce handphone

  • When it will be launched? Any real fotos? Tq

  • But the Philips 968 (which has Bluetooth)are already going to be released in this summer. You'd better wait !

  • Here's to you all mo'fos Features : E-GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 Volume: (92x45x26 mm)/70cc Main display: 262K color TFT LCD 2inch 176x220pixels Sub display:65K color CSTN LCD 1inch 96x64pixels 8MB internal memory miniSD memory expansion slot Vocoder: HR/FR/EFR Supplied Accessory : 2 Megapixel built-in camera(up to 1600 x 1200 pixels). • no bluetooth 128x160pixels (just?) no edge thats too bad!!! i don't want to buy that

  • before you say sometinhg about your marvelous Alcatel that soon it will no longer exist in the market and critisize Philips check out well your sources, because sometimes Gsm arena could give worng info like in this particulary case, so according to my sources this phone feats : 262K with 176*220 Pixels; 8MB of memory with possibility to insert mini SD card; 2 MP camera, the max resolution 1600x1200 pixelVideo in 3GPP, up to 30 Fps, QCIF s ;MP3 player, mp3 files as a call melody etc...But if you realy want the TOP check out the 968 with a QVGA screen, or even the 960 with Linux operating system, 2 MP camera (CCD)and 50MB of internal memory expansable with mini SD card, does your Alcatel does that, or even is there any Alcatel capable of such funcions like these last models???

  • these recent models (and existing ones, come to think of it) that philips are coming up dont measure up to the competition. i really wonder what is going on in the minds of the people at philips. are they trying to follow the example of siemens to suffer huge losses?

  • That is.....if you believe what they tell you on this site. Other sites mention other features for this phone.

  • well portugal that philips has a huge weekness, it has no bluetooth ohh and it had hardly any features, it may have a 2.0 MP camera but thats it, it doesnt even come close to beating the Alcatel S-853 because well the philips phone ur talking about only has a 128x160 pixtle reselution while as the alcatel has a 176x220 pixtle, so im afraid the picture quility on the alcatel is much better;)

  • 1.No Edge 2.No Blue Tooth 3.Low pixel of the main screen 4.High Weight . . . That's bad,not comparable....

  • this baby fromphilips is great mp3 n 2mp but the main is bluetooth missing very disappionted hmm philips is good but not great
