Philips Xenium 9@9q - User Reviews

  • it costs 105 euros

  • Tafur, I have exactly the same problem with my phone. No matter what time I set my phone to it ALWAYS revertts to one hour ahead of local time. Did you ever find a solution to this?

  • hi i saw one here in philippines, the red colored one.. but its 6,800 here.. how much does it really cost? can someone tell me?

  • Philips prints outside the box with up to one month standby time. I bought one and find that the battery last about 4 days with 10m/day of call. Terrible!

  • dear sir i i could not find the software so whre should i have ot search

  • hey u did bought this phone in india?????where pls reply i wanna buy this phone and tell me about the quality of the phone

  • dude... have you checked the specs? like uptime etc..?

  • I bought in Bangladesh. The battery quality is really good, its modem,java,bluetooth,mp3 are good. BUT its camera is very socking-very bad-1.3mp but quality is less than normal vga camera. It sometimes hangs.

  • which one is better........Samsung E2510 or Philips Xenium 9@9q........... tell me please................please..................please..................

  • nice phone,i'll grab one..

  • No it is cant be used as a modem.

  • I want to know can i change the inside screen display colour. i have red colour mobile

  • I took this phone. Only 99 US$ in Vietnam. Whole the cover is made from steel (I think it's rather aluminum). This one is the first shell cover phone type makes me impressed too much ...

  • can i use it as a modem?

  • I want information about the internet usability using this phone. Please let me know know something.

  • For a long Talk, Philps Xenium does not get heated up. Battery is durable and smooth current.

  • My Sweetheart has bought one, i feel the design and the battery durability is nice. Hope that this set will make smile.

  • Its looks very cool & smart. the sound speaker should be on up side, because if u keep the set normally then u may miss the ring sound. Since Xeniums are a special addition, so their should be themes download & changing option. But no....philips want to keep only their one built-in theme.otherwise the talk-time is better then many others. Those who need to talk too much, 9@9Q is the best solution for them. • at first it was fine. it was a gift to me. but after 2 mos. i even recommended it to a friend. the batt lasted long compared to my nokias. after a month my friends fone got a horizontal line along the display, then mine got one also after a few days. we returned it for warranty, came back after a week or two. worked fine for a few weeks then the horizontal line came back. mine is still with the warranty people. they plan to replace it. i opted it to be replaced by a 9@9u. smaller fone better features 2mp cam, 25mb internal memory, fm radio. hope the 9@9u will be better, since it has no flip mechanism.

  • my galfriend loves this fone A LOT! Have I say A LOT!?

  • due to "daylight saving" procedure the time is set 1hour forward in my country last sunday. so, i adjusted my clock. after sometime i noticed that time is set 1 MORE hour forward. then i set it 1hour back. again, after sometime i noticed that time is again set 1 MORE hour forward. next i set my hour 2 hours back, but the phone set 2 hours forward this time is there anyone having this problem? any ideas?

  • Dear Philips Xenium 9@9q users, I have question regarding the phone... 1. Why the phone often turn off itself without me knowing it? 2. Most of the time, every evening, the phone shows the sign of "G", seems it connect to the GPRS, for the info,I never use the GPRS with this phone... Please help me to solve this problems... Thanks for your help...

  • i actually got to see one of this up close...the form factor design is nice, keypad is really cool but they failed big time with the finishing. the unit does not look as good as the pictures we see here, the finishing actually looks like it's being coated with house paint :(

  • hello, can someone please tell me how many contacts can it store, and how many sms in the reserved memory ?? at the boutique i found it on sale, they say it can only store 250 contacts. thank you,

  • Does Philips have a noise reduction system on phone like Crystal Talk of Motorola? I really like Xenium regarding the Battery long life.

  • Yes there is and it supports up to 2GB micro sd.

  • Ehh, there IS an external screen. Try looking at the pics.

  • I bought this and the camera totally sucks. (compared to a nokia 1680). anyone have the same problem?

  • Does This Have a memory slot..Hah..?

  • Phillips has no originality. its look like nokia. and its function are really the same. another stupid cellphone.

  • Does Philips have a noise reduction system on phone like Crystal Talk of Motorola? I really like Xenium regarding the Battery long life.

  • havent seen this or touched this... but it looks nice... elegant is the right term.... nice to see an entry level phone that looks expensive.

  • Philips has sold the Cell phone div to China Electronic corp and that company has the rights to market it under philips name for some years (i read this on news) The xenium brand is actually a very good brand for travelling executive who wants to be in touch on phone. some are outdated ideas but it will take time to iron out the weaknesses

  • Does Philips have a noise reduction system on phone like Crystal Talk of Motorola? I really like Xenium regarding the Battery long life.

  • very nice fone. great battery life, well not really the advertized 30day standby in my experience. but with regular sms, cam, and call usage i get an average battery life of 7 days per full charge. more calls and games gives me about 5 hours. its a cool fone for basic usage. not the multimedia buff type of fone. just dont know if it is good for the price since it was a gift. actually i plan to buy another zenium unit the candy bar type.

  • Why Philip can'y sell since the design is nice?! obviously is its technical is so outdated. Why not totally stop production if continue to be beleive pple want to buy these outdated phone.

  • Nice photo review -

  • Again i'm impressed by Philips designers, they done excellent job.Believe me i'm very hard to be impressed. This is what i call pure, advanced and modern design.Again BRAVO!

  • beatifull design

  • Hey very good battery life!!! :)

  • nice design, still i would like to see an external screen as well
