hello, I've got a problem with my sagem myx5-2v,it happened yesterday-in my messages memory showed that I have 20 messages written on my sim card and 96 on my phone,but when I enter the messages file I've got only messages from sim card, I can't see (read) messages from my phone as if there were not there, but my memory shows that there are on my phone-it's as if there were hidden somewhere or as if some mechanism made only messages from sim card available to read, do you know what to do?

I have had this phone for nearly 2 years and haven't had any fault in it at all on all features. Only one thing puts it down a bit is the fact it can't accept mp4 videos, or certain 3gp computer downloads, even though the myX6-2 can even though that is suppose to be identical. If mp4 doesn't bother you 10/10!!!

The problem is with a memory card. I bought Goodram micro SD which is probably not the fastest one. When I save the movies with max quality on internal phone memory card, there's no hang up.

I have in mye77 version. It's more elegant black color. It's big, sharp screen. The only problem that I have encountered is that you can't record a video in max quality with sound.

when I set the video size restrictio to MMS I can take a video of about ten seconds, when I select none the video freezes the phone when I start it, am I missing something?

The phone is a wonderful one. I couldn't get an english language printed manual for easy operation. Also, changing to higher case letters a little hard. There's always a room for improvement. Keep it up.

Fiddley layout, great resolution and clarity. Extreemly good video performace for a phone. Loaded with features, and fairly simple to use. Let down by crappy small lettering on a wierd angled keypad.

I use "Xilisoft video convertor"(.3gp or MPEG4): video codec:h263;video size:176*144;bit rate;120;frame rate:auto;bitrate tolerance:60 Audio codec:amr_nb(or aac);bit rate:48;sample rate:8000;channels:1(mono);disable audio:false. Some Xilisoft versions have sound problems.If this is your case=>"nokia multimedia converter".

the largest memory this phone can handle(IF YOU MEAN A MEMORY CARD) is a 2GB one it has only just been realeased.thats plenty of memory but if you mean the phone memory then its only got 8mb so you really need a decent memory card.

for anyone who wants free anything. buy a memory card reader. and then go on www.mobile9.com everything is free on it you can download 30 things a day just download to your pc then using card reader save directly onto memory card. then go onto the game when cards back in phone and go on options then install.

MY V-76 is a nice and beautiful phone. It has all I need in a Mobile phone. Congratulations to the manufacturers. The users guide or manual does not give details of the step by step operational guide. How can you get to know details or functions of the mobile. Like the camera, video, internal / external memory, playing of music. And lastly, is the USB cable available in Nigeria? where and how can I get it? Thanks.

to increase recording time go on to video record then options then go on to video size and change to any size. then go on to videos lenghtthen change to any lenght. and for sending things if you are refuring to sending things of a computer you need to buy a bluetooth dongle. you can get one from argos-cat number=676/7316 priced at �15.99

The phone is beatiful but the only thing I need to get clearification on is the video. How can you increase both the audio or video recording time from two minutes to either 10 minutes or more. Have a X6-2 - it's my 3rd Sagem in a row. Better and easier to use than Sony Ericcsson Motorolla, or Nokia. Fantastic phone bursting with features. If you re-encode your MP3s to 32kbps, you'll fit 4x the number of songs on the micro SD card. I've over 800 songs an it now and it's still not full. Will definately buy another Sagem.

Just to clear it up - the phone definately accepts 512 MB micro SD card and recognizes it (478 MB usable). It is running trouble free right now on my phone. Any word on software or installing games?

Good news !!!for people with sagem my-V76!You can install java games and application easy...You need only a card reader for your memory card and you pc!!!So you can make a folder with jar files for your mobiles inside to your memory card !jar and not jad if you dont want to pay for internet .Also only few java applications tray to conect on-line for update when install them to your phone like jar files-to intall like jad the web conection is necessarily-try to be in a area without signal or change your sim with another without Vodafone Live!!!Intall and Unistall easy to your phone!!! pao13-texas

A beautiful cell full of functions. Got two probs with it though. First the battery life is short and the camera doesn't take good pictures in slightly dark conditions. My X6 does better here. However it is still a very good phone; probably the best in its class. Keep up Sagem!!!!!!

Just bought one of these phones for my daughter �50 from the vodafone hi street shop came with free �20 credit!This phone is better than my nokia 6230 for photo and video and the keys feel more solid,screen quality is good and a sensible size.All other functions on the phone work fine takes some thought to use the menus at first but not the worst by a long way. Nice one Sagem

sofos:Unfortunately BAD news,becoz to save on card you need another soft.You might be in the sit.of Orange menu people(impossible to change soft,to unlock phone and reg.+ to planetsagem.com).So,if you can't save on card you can't download games and applications from PC(irda,cable and BT not possible).Only from wap is pos.But try to reg. at www.pla.....If it works you have a chance.At "upgrades" you can find the soft. lolo:NO flash and there are phone covers but only for MYX6-2(maybe compatible)

you have to take off the front cover to put the memory.it is right above the slot for the charger.for the mp3 when it says bad format it is probably because there is not enough space in the phones memory(not the trans flash)because it cant(or i havent found how!)save the files you receive directly to the memory card.one problem tat i havent undrstood is that when i tried to receive a pic taken by a sony ericsson w800 using bluetooth it said bad format.do you it is the fact that maybe it was taken whith a resolution of 2mb??i realy like this phone,i think it is great.i havent found out whats the bigger card you can use 256 or 512? some1 plz answer.

The micro SD card is already inside the phone. You're probably refering to the adaptor microSD->SD that is supplied along with the phone - it reads TransFlash and has a slot to insert the microSD card.

I got this phone a few weeks ago in the sale and I thuink it's great, To put mp3 on the phone I usely us the Trans Flash card fopr the memory card. I only got a 32MB card but you can buy bigger ones from Argos Currys etc. I think the biggest I've seen is 256MB not sure tho. Well hope that helps. Later People :)

takes good pictures during the day, but the camera on this phone does not respond well to atifical lighting therefore when the sun sets your stuck with a slow blurry viewfinder. pictures indoors look faded wihtout any realistic colour.close ups are appauling so you can forget even thinking about macro.(my old sagem my-x6 took better close ups!) good video, bit blocky but movement is captured fast wihtout any freezes. no settings for the video and no zoom or pause rewind functions and by the time it takes to store and view pictures/videos you can watch the paint go dry. slow aint the word and the vodafone live is crap with having to set connection time every time you browse cause if you try to download items and it takes longer then 60 seconds youve lost �2.(set the connection to no time limit) overall the call quaility is decent and battery life is ok. three/four days mine lasts. the style and shape of the my v-76 looks good and is impressive, comparing it to nokias i prefere the modern futuristic design of this phone. i suppose if your going for a day out and want to take some pics the results are not that bad, and for a phone which many functions its slim size means you can carry it around in your pockets no problem. 6 out of ten. sagem my-v76's ok i guess

Good phone, but does not have EMS support, unlike all the other sagems I have owned, which was a great disapoointment, nor does it have a flash, and as usual your stuck with vodafone's boring red/grey colour scheme, and slow menu structure, the lack of being able to change the colour scheme ruins what otherwise would have been an excelent phone, I've had it 3 months, of which 2 and a 1/2 months it has spent in it's box as vodafone really fails to meet the standards I feel mobile phones of this calibre should have.

Finally got this two days ago...initial impressions- Love the look of this phone,it doesn't suffer the cheap feeling that some of sagem's previous efforts had..it's quite solidly built and the white finish gives this an overall classy feel..The screen is fantastic,amazingly bright and clear.Sound quality is superb through both the earphones and loudspeaker- mp'3 sound loud and very clear,certainly puts my D500 to shame!UI is simple to navigate around although it can sometimes be a bit slow to respond to key presses.Bluetooth works well with sending and recieving files,call quality is good,MMS & SMS work as expected,Wap pages are pretty quick to load.....all good stuff.Now to the problems i've found- first the camera,i found this to be the biggest dissapointment...it may be 1.3 MP,but it ain't one of the better ones.I've taken several photos under different lighting situations and they've all came out rather blurry and poor in detail,they also seem to lack brightness and overall colour saturation,to be honest there's vga camera's out there that produce better results as far as i'm concerned...i'm also slightly dissapointed at the lack of manual brightness control.Another grey area is midi playback- i'm not sure how many chords this phone is meant to be able to play,but ringtones just seem to be lacking in quality.Another slight niggle is the lack of any colour scheme or theme support,your forced to look at the typical red and white vodafone menus- I believe the original non branded handsets may have a few colour schemes as a review of the my x-62 i read recently mentioned them,and i remember my myx-7 had some,but i suspect they were trashed when vodafone hacked the firmware to bits.Overall if your looking for a good solid music playing phone for a reasonable price and are not too bothered about good quality photos......i'd reccommend it.

Nice phone for the tiny price. But some functions are not so detailed as Sony ericsson mobiles. (ex: Alarm clock can't be programmed for only some day in the week...) I can't find how to send java games by IR. mp3 player is very long to response when playing songs... we cannot do other thing while hearing music. Vodafon menus are awfulls. some functions have disapered from the 6-2 ( like the small list/menu on the main menu) It's very awfull to type SMS on it ( we can't stay on function CAPS and switching between ABC and 123 is not easy because you have to pass by T9 ( which can't be desactivated) Battery life seems to be half from my 3 year old T65!! ( about 4 or 5 days for the MY V76) MP3 sound is really great! 3gp video is great for a mobile. There is no flash but miror!! Synch by IR works well but slowly Timer don't work every time?? is it possible to put in it a 512Mo transflash card? or just 256? Is there any one who change the Firmware into My V 6-2?? ( by itself or with after sales..)

here again ..... _menu is awfull same vodafone live one any way... comes with 32 mb card in the box. _send emails from this phone its cool and easy! _nice calendar (vodafone menu) "to do" is perfect, not the second alarm clock (weekly one) many phones have nowadays... _different positions for the greek letters on the keypad (for sms)than the nokias ,s/e, samsungs and sharps but thats ok i got used to it!!! _constructions is solid nice plastics classy lookin white shiny keyboard not getting dirty (so far). Try not to take off the covers alot or u'll get dust on the lens! _No radio. mp3s with the headphone are super nice sound surprisingly! plays even without the headset too! My conclusion: Very nice features. Infra, B/T, Mem.card (up to 512), 1,3 m/p camera (8x digital zoom), full screen clear video, mp3 player,easy to use navigation key and "ok" button, nice lookin phone, solid, crystal clear with nice colours display!!!! Sorry for the battery life-2,5 days with normal use-, to many oks and green buttons to send sms or using the call list, vodafone menu (sucks), difficult mem card diode, no flash (but nice workin night mode) and no radio! Go buy it with out asking any else! with the price u get its perfect all the features and more. I'm very happy do have one and pride for the classy appearence of my v 76. Oh and remember!!!! what ever i wrote goes for the "my x-62" cause the company gives them as the same mobiles (only diffirent companies voda or O2 or TIM or T-mob etc). dimitris GREECE take care

ti is a small review for u all... not big not small and kind of lux looking phone. _display is awsome although there are better out there (more expensive though). big and clear u can see easily whats written on the screen even the sun directly on it!!! nice colours,bright and clasy! _Keypad, very user friendly 'cause it has big keys. Big enough for mine though :-) ! never mind its white, it won't get dirty, its glossy and look like its an expensive phone! Around the silver "ok" button there is a circle navigation key easy to use easier than 6230s, D500s, k750s, 6680-1s or others for people having big fingers like me. on the left there are 3 buttons one for the ringtone level (up or down) or for callin voice volume and one b. for starting up camera or capturing a pic. On the other side there is only the infrared port. Front is luxurious white and silver on the back all silver and at the upper part is the 1,3mp video/camera with mirror and NO flash! the usb port is down where the recharger port is. _infrared its ok. Bluetoth works perfectly. synchronization works fine too, with no hungs or "restarters" (nice work sagem). _wallpapers,screensavers,mp3 ringtones, crystal clear speaker (very very strong one). _camera is awsome nice pics nice colours on the pc and on paper when i tried to print them. like havin a dig.camera (short of). camera is very fast it has a delay timer to try to get ur poition b4 taking the pic 4 diffirent sounds for the shutter or no sound at all. nice!!! Pictures are clear on the screen and easily transfered to a pc by infra-bt-or usb dongle(cable). it has night cloud shootin pics mode etc , and grey scale-sepia etc from 320x240 to 1280x1024 pixels analysis. Video--->> superb FULL SCREEN according to the mem card u tape more minutes... surprisingly very clear videos with loud sound (yeah SAGEM!!!). _mem card is put after u've taken off the front cover too and "dive" it inside! it supports surely a512mb card (tiny-transflash). _no full games only demos so as u have to download them from the vodafone live; clever aren't they??? _foolish thing is too many oks to send an sms (about 6 oks) and 3 green buttons to call from the call list. Really annoying and stupid. _battery life, the first time after i bought it lasted 18 hours with a 12 hour charging. iKnow i got used t it not using the cam alot and it last aproxim. 3 days. But if u use the camera alot don't expect more tha 2,5 days!

Like phone but having problems. At switch on display goes to egg timer and locks, only solution is to take battery out. Started intermittently at first, but ended up every time phone was switched on. Phone replaced after 3 weeks, new phone is now starting to go the same way. Any one else having the same problem?

in greece comes with a 32mb card. it can easily support a 512mb card but it'll get a bit slow with so much data on it... it can play mp3 files "with" the headset. from my experience, i never needed bigger than a 512 card. when i take pictures (hao many...lets say 100) i download them to my pc.Then my card is free of memory again. If ia download mp3s i'll listen to, for 1,2,3,4,5, times then i get bord and delete right away so... no need of larger memory card. its o phone don t forget it... Oh!! it does have changeble covers afterall.. nice!!! :-)) more in 7 days...

can anyone tell me what type of memory card it takes? is it just a multimedia 1, and can you just play mp3's with out a headset in it?and dus a memory card come with it and if it dus how big is it? thanks

the keyboard does not get very dirty don't know about covers it does have mp3 ringtone i think it comes with a 32 mb transflash card

It looks like a great phone but comparing it to its sibling MY X6-2, I could not see any significant difference. However, I need some serious help. I could not find any place to buy either here in the US. Could please anyone give me a tip as to where I could find these well rated SAGEM phones. Thanks.

hey! i love my sagem my v-76! best phone ever! camera, video! the lot!!! and the good thing is.. I GOT IT FOR FREE! haha... good old entitled to new phones! lol... its good... ive downloaded alot of ringtones... can anyone help me with it tho... its a bit slow... like when i press the menu button it takes atleast 2 seconds to open up... do i have to much on some files? but overall... ITS THE BEST PHONE!

I am using My X-7 for now.Its been good.But Sagem can still do much better to improve its quality to keep our head high up above other phones,more grease to your elbow!

Just bought this phone and am very impressed, it has everything the nokia 6230i has plus a 256k screen (6230i is 65k). Bluetooth and infra red I can't think of anything this phone does not have apart from a radio. It plays mp3's and videos the lot. The inclusion of a 1.3 MP camera with a large high res screen makes this phone serious competition for much much more expensive phones. The phone nearly matches with the SonyEricsson K750 apart from the fact the ericsson has a 2 MP camera but is 2.5 - 3 times more expensive. This phone is only available on Vodafone in the UK and that is the best network in my opinion anyway. So go and get one peeps!

for the price of a nokia 6230 you could get this AWSOME phone, seriously compare the two and this phone stands out with supior technology and design. and its a super great price. its only $397 prepaid here in australia!

oh yeahhh dis is where i gat make a joyfull noise cos SAGEM improving more and more though i dont so much wellcom d screen cos i bought SAGES Z-3 cos o d screen,cos v 55 screen i was useing b/4 i bought Z-3was not enough 4 me. they should do something on their ringing tone, let them take at Sony ericsson's ringing tone, from T630,Z500,K300 etc and then make it a little bit louder, thanks and keep it up

i never regreated buying a sagem fone-still using myv-65. i love v-76 from its profile but pls do something abt the color-don't like silver fone, need other grt ones like metallic blue or dark colors. grt work here keep it up

Ive had a SAGEM myx 6 for...well ages now and its done me GREAT..ive only ever had sagems and they've never let me down! its one of the best makes but people sem to have a problem with them! i mean..NO ONE can beat their prices to wat the phones offer! This phone..no different! Im getting myself one!
