  • No its just that HTC doesnt have a large enough user-base let alone a single model of theirs. 3.8 million people bought A50 in Europe only, while htc isnt even on charts thats why

  • One of the best in midranges class.there are no more better phones with this price.every part works great from display to cpu/gpu and very good battery support for one day heavy duty. Go for it with no doubt.go for it

  • SOT stands for Screen On Time, and it is the number of hours that the screen was on in one full charge

  • HTC designed and manufactured the Google Pixel

  • One of the best mid-rangers out there! Good screen with perfect auto brightness, nice cameras -especially the front with led- , more than a day battery life with heavy usage, excellent wi-fi signal strength and loud speakers even if they're not boomsound. This smartphone must have a big and complete review.

  • Hello, is this phone android one?

  • Gsmarena doesn't write review and will not! this is samsung/apple and chinesse arena and just advertising those brands.... To tell you the truth(after 4weeks buying ) u12life: Very good design + quality and seat in the hand so good. Sound quality is great in both speaker and heaphone. Battery is ready for heavy usage for one day(not very heavy usage and needs pluged in) Camera is very very good in day light and is average in inddoor shots / selfie is good too especially in day light. Htc sense ui is still the best ui in android. Screen is good in dayvlight and sunshine if not turn on power saver.if turn on power saver the sreen is not very clear. And led screeens are better. Not very different accessory and case. All things are great and good but screen is average and needs htc turn to amoled/oled.

  • How is the audio quality on the headphones? Does it have a nice DAC like the HTC phones between M8 und 10? Thanks in advance.

  • Still no black emojis🙅🙎

  • what is the SOT? battery life?

  • Why? Is it so hard to put in a newer silicon and taller screen. Who is going to buy something that was popular 2 years ago. It's a huge period in the era of modern technology. Look what other producers are doing, mid-range is becoming the main focus as 1000 euros or dollars is insult to the most of the world's population.

  • It is not coming

  • Original google pixel was designed and manufactured by HTC

  • 3.5mm!!!!!!

  • is any gsmarena review coming?

  • Does the mobile support navigation button change and how can do it

  • No

  • No overheat. in fact (almost) no heat :D

  • can you take photos in raw format such as dng using open camera?

  • Hi all, does anyone use this phone, it's quite little review on the internet. Could you give me some feedback, tks.

  • what the hell is HTC doing? this even not how we used to see HTC copiying from another brands this i can call it google phone :S

  • Price is $290

  • Does it over heat??

  • This phone is awe for me. Good chip, ram, and bigger battery. I wish HTC will come back with this phone.

  • 390 USD so expensive

  • I was planning to buy it too.. you may search souq.com

  • can u please give me details of website for 950 aed , and can i purchase from india through online please let me know

  • Now it's around AED 950

  • hi , is it 64gb variant or 128gb variant please let me know ?

  • 1299 here in dubai ,Indian currency around 26000rs ,

  • why htc has no market in the philippines? i want this one.

  • I need the review please......

  • can anyone tell me will this model launch in india , i am very much interested to buy , if not any other source to purchase it online , please let me know

  • you are talking of U12+ not U12 life. You still cannot buy this one at least not legal

  • This phone currently costs almost 1000€ in hungary

  • I'm really interested in the audio aspect of this phone? Will it retain the quality of previous HTC phones or be down graded because of the lower price?

  • No front facing stereo speaker why? D:

  • Great specs and battery capacity is great too.... Great in all parts and very good price(price is very low with these specs) makes it the best choice in midranges and upoer midranges in market. I will grab it as soon as possible

  • Does it give durability like the other HTC phones made with the metal body?

  • Good specs, quality from HTC. Price is conform market.

  • How can you say that the Specs are low ? You just see the Specs but you haven't Test the Phone yet. TSK

  • Very expensive but lower specs eeww never waste my money like this item

  • HTC Device' are good in Specs, Use SD Chipset. The saddest part is HTC Phone are no being distribute on PH Market. Tsk

  • So, all phones without SD845 but priced higher than Poco F1 are rip off, huh?

  • will this model launch in india ,i am very eager to buy this , can anyone suggest me how to book this model if not available in india

  • redmi note 5 pro with triple price at least put a ip68

  • It's priced higher than pocophone, but didn't use SD 845, lower battery capacity? Rip off too much.

  • why so expensive? it should be 260 euro

  • NICE, design is very good, hopefully headphones jack will be back on all future models, i think on sd636 a 3600mah battery will work for two whole days, of course if user use moderate lcd and camera, stereo speakers will be loud judging by HTC reputation and phone size and SD636 is a good chip capable of nearly all cutting edge tecks coupled with 6gbs of ram there should be no shortcoming in ordinary use.

  • Way too big.

  • what else do you guys expect from midrange phone? Don’t you all remember the time when Htc rules? They are still full of ideas...currently they are having a bad time and hopefully they can rise back from the fall...hd plus display, stereo speakers,3.5 jack,3600mah fast charging, splash resistant and no notch...(of course snapdragon 710 could be better)

  • I looked on the official HTC website and according to the HTC U12 Life page it has cornered screen.

  • Yeah that is strange indeed

  • Yeah stereo speakers are also good...but boom sound is on another level...! It's freaking best man...! May be this is not a flagship phone, that's why they haven't given boom sound in it.

  • Because it's a mid range phn. Not flagship...

  • I think you just confused U12 Plus with U12 Life.

  • They have put wrong image. It does not have curved edge. Also, camara is not on left top, Its un upper middle. You can check this at . After long time htc comes with a better phone in middle range

  • Dude, there is a headphone jack. Stereo speakers as well. "Elsewhere, the U12 Life also includes stereo speakers and a headphone jack." The battery is 3600 mah, what do you want? 4000 would be nicer, but it's not even close to pathetic.

  • There are stereo speakers, but maybe not BoomSound. Better than none though

  • Reading some hands-on previews, they mention that it has dual speakers, one on the earpiece, the other bottom-firing. Just that HTC itself does not give it BoomSound label. Anyway, GSM Arena still need to update the spec page for better accuracy.

  • U12+ looks beautiful with 3600mah battery 3.5mm jack and edge sense2,

  • HTC.... Cos we are half Google, half everything else. :D

  • awesome design better then pixel phone.... such a great mid range phone with 3600mah battery, 3.5mm jack and edge sense2....

  • Finally HTC is getting back in the game...! Though, I really wanted boom sound speakers. I hope it does have that.

  • A headphone jack?! WHAT?!?

  • How come on pictures, there's one phone with a curved display and one without? Which one is it really?

  • The colors are kinda ugly, or weird. They should have add some more colors. The specs are not bad for a device which isn't a flagship. I mean 6 GB of RAM on a mid-range device is good, and that battery is very good. And hey, at least NO notch, and YES 3.5 mm headphone jack! Overall good job HTC.

  • Yea it got redacted right after i posted. Well still not good enough, especially for a dying company. Won't attract many customers with a phone like this.

  • Would be really nice if they have a IP specification for the phone's body

  • Got 3.5mm jack at least...

  • Got 3.5mm headphone jack and no notch thankfully, yay!

  • Lolx... no waterproof?

  • It has headphone jack....

  • LOL, doing the same thing again and again (No 3.5mm jack, not even stereo speakers and pathetic battery), expecting different results. They are clearly insane.

  • Details here Snapdragon 636 with 3600mAH battery, 64 / 4GB memory/RAM.

  • really boring read all the time opinion like "dead company"in my opinion may time they do better then competitor, but pay a bad marketing. In this case i hope they will be a good job because i need to change my m9 after 3 years of hardcore use!

  • Weirdly enough, HTC actually toyed with the idea before. Looks like they decided not to

  • That's great news, thought it was another notch clone.

  • This is NOT HTC U12 life photo. The phone is just leaked, not yet confirmed by HTC officially. GSM Arena have just posted the photo for reference.

  • This is not the U12 Life. The U12 Life is coming with an 18:9 aspect ratio

  • serious, 2018 model with plastic body?

  • This kooks just like the Huawei P20. The fingerprint reader, the notch, there all in the same place. Except its supposed to be a plastic body instead of glass.

  • Snapdragon 710?

  • boring design

  • Come on HTC... you mocked Apple.for years for copying your band which was done pretty much more discretely than this..... you just took a huge L with copyimg their notch and no headfone jack.

  • maybe because that's what it is😂😂

  • Both are notchily flawed.

  • I think they forgot put up that it might Andorid One device, I guess?

  • Htc sense???

  • The image looks like a badly edited P20

  • Nokia x6 vs Htc U12 Life?

  • SD 660 ? I bet HTC will put up a Price of 600$+easily just like with their HTC U11 Eyes that featured a 2 years old chipset.

  • No 3.5 jack?! Ferget about it! Ain't going to get that one.

  • Htc is this you?

  • I wouldn't be so sure.

  • Thank Goodness! I am so glad that they didn't put this ugly notch in their 2018 flagship "U12+" .... :)
