This phone is an absolute work-horse. Lasted me from 2003 until 2007, where I eventually left it at my uncle's house miles away from home. With classic Jackson 5 ringtone blaring out, I dropped this phone many times. I took a real beating. I bet it would still be here today if I didn't leave it. Smartphones have nothing on this hardy bastard of a phone!!

Hi, When my wife wanted to change her myx2 for a more modern, I took it ... and use it till now. Buyed as a cheap one in 2003 and still working great with its original battery. Good sound, no problem to conect, fast. Nothing to complain with, a pleasure ! Of course, if you want photo, internet ....

This is a brilliant little phone, although presumably something of a dinosaur now. I have been using mine since about 2002 and it's still going strong, although the keypad has now worn blank! Battery still holds its charge, I have dropped it several times, and it has never let me down. I should upgrade but really don't want to lose this little beauty.

I own a My Sagem X-2 shich I have never set up or used and was wondering the price it would be worth. Like I said it has never been in use and is still in its original packaging and the only reason I bought it was because I could not find my charger that day as I already had the same model and due to being unwell with mental health issues at the time was convinced that spies had taken it from my home to stop me from contacting people. ~Strange but true. Anyway could someone send me advice on what to do next. Thank you for your attention. Liz. (I am a lot better now but still taking the medication.) Lol.

Hi, I had one of this for 6 years, since 2004 and it resists all types of mishaves, falls, hits, etc,. I did replaced it for a 3 years cuz i got a new one with a camera but that one broked and begun using this sagem again. Accidentally it got dropped in a bucket of water but i dryed it, put it in a bolw of dry rice , covering it for 3 days at first it wouldn`t charge and the signal was blinking but little by little the sagem recovered!!! and it was as good as ever ! I love it !This phone will live forever!

This is a very robust mobile. It fell in sea water. I washed it with salt-water by mistake, then washed with freshwater and allowed to dry. Still working great! Amazing!

I bought this mobile phone about five years ago now and it is the best one I have had. During those years I have had numerous 'fashionable' mobiles but always ended up going back to this one! It still has the original battery, it has been smashed to pieces and still works perfectly! it's so small it can fit in your pocket and handbag easily. It's a shame that so many people have missed out on the MY X-2!

This Sagem is the most reliable and pleasant to use phone I have ever had. After 4 years and on the same battery I made a most enormous mistake - I bought an expensive Nokia! How could anyone design such a piece of ridiculous nonsense?! After struggling for 3 solid days to make it work in an easy and logical fashion I have given it up and returned to my faithful Sagem with its logical layout, operational simplicity, huge battery life, superb speaker performance and absence of stupid frills.

I bought a new MY X-2 about 4 to 5 years ago & it's still going strong on the original battery. As a simple mobile phone, it's absolutely fine though the letters on the keypads are a bit small for me unless I use reading glasses. One annoying problem that comes to mind is that you can't transfer the sender's phone number from a text call to the phonebook. You have to manually add it in as a new number.

Sagem MYX2 is a great mobile phone. I have been using it for the last four years without any problem. Its battery is very good if it is charged every two days intervals.Its signal is very good and speaker phone is simply rocking.

This phone is kool...It has changable covers that come with it, Alright screen, easy to use...The only �h�t feature is the keys on either side wear off...

This phone has a PC conection through serial cable, and actualy it has 4096 color display, not 256. It surprised me because I could load midi tones on it. It's on 16 channels, not 40, it can playback AMR, but pitty that you cannot download any AMR in to it, it only works with the ones it's already in it. It's a good device to be used as a modem, and it has WAP.

Great phone, good signal, awesome ringtones BUT NO ACCESORIES!!, It's impossible to get a spare charger or a data cable (It has menus for selecting the data speed up to 115200 so i think the cable is serial RS232). The screen is less than ok, it lacks green color and look purple in black zones of the image, the 256 colors let you think that this phone will look better with a greyscale display. Really bad CSTN screen. It lacks an infrared port (Hey, the cable is impossible to get, at least an IRDA port will become useful for data transfer, ringtones, wall's). 30 minutes with this phone and you get bored NO GAMES, NO CUSTOM RINGTONES, NO WAP... BUT it's very very durable...

i have had this phone 4 years. still not faulty. the colour screen was quite for its price and unlike other new phones the alarm plays although it is turn off. a great choice for a second phone. a good phone 4 kids becoz easy to understand but if ur kid is the wild type i suggest u should not buy becoz it easily gets scratched

I've had this phone for just over a year now, and I can only say it's a mixed bag. The good points are that it's cheap, lightweight, compact and is a great introductory phone (esp. for technophiles, as it's childsplay to work). On the downside, the features it does have are so minimalistic that you really do 'get what you pay for'. The colour screen looks faded and dull. The ringtones are abysmal (Kylie Minogue?!?!?) and the sound quality is like listening to a sea shell. The miserable handset finally packed in when I wet the bed one night, flooding the insides and drowning my Sagem forever. As before, only buy if you need a replacement or don't wet the bed like I do.

I had this phone ages ago and it was well cheap! i was not expecting as much as i got. I got it for �49.99 T-Mobile and i was happy. I've had this terminal for around a year and a half, and I'm very satisfied whit it. It doesn't has lots of cool features but surely you could talk and send messages with no problem. Also it has long battery life (lasts for a week even after a year and a half that I purchased it).

Do not ever buy this phone. Please spend that extra bit of money and get a better phone. Bad Side: 256 colour screen (really crap), No GPRS, No MMS, Bad Quality Finish, Dont be too suprised when you hear the HIFI ringtones, they are crackley when turned up to a decent volume. Now the good points: CHEAP and its small and compact. It is a good spare phone or a phone to keep in your car for emergency's. Do not buy this phone for your son or daghter, they will hate you for it.

Yeah you get a ringtone free, a really sad one, i got kylie minogue, and then you cant get any more ringtones, cos when it goes onto WAP it takes all your money and then when you get credit, it will just take it all back off again.

It has about 2 games, 1 called Sweetheart (pathetic) were you have to match the man to the girl and it takes you about 5 seconds and once your done thats it theres no levels or anything and theres a number game where you have to get the numbers in the right order, and its sooooooo boring theres 3 levels and they keep freezing its so boring this phone its rubbish its all fuzzy the backgrounds and the ringtones are rubbish

okay, i bought this phone round about last year and i saved up for it thinking "wow doesnt it seem good on the photos and that?" but i bought it and it isn't that good. This is my first sagem phone, so i dunno what other Sagem phones are like, but i would only recommend this phone for short term use ie if yours has brokena dn you need a back up till you get a new one. If you have it long term, it will drive you mad, i tell you. The ringtone sounds are ok i guess, but the quality of the picture isnt that good, it seems fuzzy. When you store alot of messages, it can take ages then opening your inbox, and it wont let you ring anyone if you have less than 20p, which is probably just the network mine was on, which was T-Mobile. The games are basically stupid, and when you lock the handset, it is very sensitive, so it easilt turns itself on in your pocket, whih isnt very good if you take it to school/work/funeral whatever. The WAP is stupid to work, i kept trying to get it on and i kept being stupid and disconnecting. The backgrounds arent great, they are very very fuzzy, and you can hardly make out what it is unless you set your contrast to low, then you can just about see the picture, if you squint with your eyes. Please, do not buy this phone for long term use ie 3months max, because you will end up throwing it at the wall like i did. oh good thing is, you can drop and throw it all you want and nothing happens! Which is perfect for when you want to slam it against the wall and smahs it, and then show your mum the broken pieces so then she buys you another! Typical! heed my warning.....please....

i have a sagem my-X2 and i think itz a lovely phone. There are a few negative sides to it however- as there is not much choice in the backgrounds and screen savers. I love the MY X2. Especially its ease of use. I would like to purchase a newer or different Sagem mobile phone but unfortunately I can't find any in the shops here in Thailand. Any advice ? also, although it is an easy phone to use. I'm sure that I'm not getting the benefits of all of its features, due to the lack of a manual. how can i obtain a manual ? Hello again! I wrote before about this: Can someone please tell me how I can get a more discret sms-signal to My-x2? The tones in the phone are all too long or/and too loud. I just want a little simple pip or a two - three tones. Anyone who knows?

Great phone.. Comparable "Better Brand" phones cost twice as much as this from Sagem.. The Handsfree feature is excellent (especially with new laws regarding mobile usage in your car) HiFi ring tones, wow, on such a cheap phone.amazing. Now my ringtones sound like the real stuff, instead of some drunk playing some cheap Bontempi Keyboard.. I make all my own Hifi tones, well, it's easy enough.. With a cable (under �10) and the free software from Sagems website, you can easilly get loads of new tones on your phone (real music tones, not crummy polyphonic tones) I just snip a loop from a fvourite mp3, save it as a wav file (with the appropriate sample rate) then fire it into the phone, easy peasey lemon squeezy.. Although, loading up polyphonic tones is even easier (if you like crappo bontempi style tones) Just search for and download midi files from the internet (there's tons free for download) then use the Sagem software to load them into the phone, no messing about... Well, what more can I bore you all with, umm, nothing, if you want a great little phone that offers similar specs to "Bigger Known Brand" phones costing twice as much, then you wont be sad owning a Sagem myx-2... Cheerio...

This phone ROCKS!!! It has so many features for it's price. Colour screen, polyphonic ringtones, all you need for an update, easy to use my mobile phone. Only today I realised that some IDIOT had nicked this phone and my coat. I'd only had it for 3 weeks!!! But if you're looking for Java gaming, you won't find it on this phone. Great first phone.

Hello Jason!Of course you can get much "better" mobiles than Nokia 3330 and My X-2. It all depends on how much you want to pay for one. Sagem My X2 is good for its price, very cheep in Sweden.

I must say this is the worst phone i have ever had if i was you do not get one there slow and you cant get many accesories for them i am very dissapointed with this.The NOKIA 3330 is much better and that has nothing on it.
