This is overall a good phone. I have used it for several years - and bought it when it first came out. Of course - you cannot compare it to the phones that are available today as mobiles have come a long way in 4 years! But still, battery life, durability and hand comfort are good. Messaging is a bit difficult and the phones limited memory are its mains cons.

Yeah! This is very very best phone i've ever seen. Battery life is unbelievable. Only Bad thing is this one is memory for wap browser. Large pages cannot load. But more can. Nice design nice color. Better you can got this!

Poor signal even on the road,low ringer volume you cant hear in slightly noisy places,use less voice memo recorder as even if we shout it recotd at lowest volume bad experience.

I'm using this phone for 5 months. Nice design! 1000 phone book entries, good picture & sound quality, mms, gprs & java all good.This sound is not so cute as SonyErricson but better than average Nokia. No speaker phone, no silent option while ringing an incoming call, No enter key option in messaging, Cant sent picture messages to anyone, but we can send multimedia pictures, ringtones by mms. The internet accessing centre button causes much more difficulty, accidentally finger touches our cash balance will be reduced!. Excluding 1000 entry phone book, all other memmories are very less. Does not support JPG pictures and 3GP/mp3 ringtones but support MIDI and mmf. Interface is not more user friendly, but a little. only very less options and settings are there. While saving text messages it shows only the phoneNumber/name as identifier.Duration of any message display is very high around 4 or 5 seconds. Mixed call history of recieved/dialled/missed calls while pressing call button is a good feature. There is no profile that we can choose at a time, at least sound options. In the ringing type thre is only Ring, Ring + Vira, Vibra; there is no option for Light only.We can save more than one number may be with different icons, While any incoming call it doesn't show the number and the type icon too, it just display the saved name, so we can't understand from which phone the call is coming,This is the most foolish thing done by samsung. We can use Ringtones for alarms and schedules, but messaging and other alerts have seperate tones for each section, it is too bad I think. We cannot move all of the address in the SIM to Phone and vice versa,which is useful if we shift from one SIM to another or from one phone to another, we have to do it one by one, if 500 numbers we have to do the procudure 500 times! While saving anything it always ask SIM/Phone it is a cumbersome, This asks even if only one choice "Phone" also ! Great foolish question! If we save any phone book entry it always ask memory location, this also steals a click and time, Who remembers all the phone memory locations ??! We can make silent by just holding down the # key, it's good. if auto lock key is off, we can lock it by holding down * key, but it ask an unwanted question : "lock Key pad?". 3 alarms are there Daily/Morning/onetime, it's good. but Morning call has 2 options "monday to friday" & "Monday to saturday", so that we can't use this in sundays! While typing message caps lock handling is not so good. In phone book we can create group (max 10), add more phone numbers to this group, we can set ringtone/message tone & graphic logo to a group, it's good, not possible to assign ring tone to each number. If you like these nice features with lower price and ready to suffer these difficulties of course you can by this small pretty & cu phone . Good luck!

Hi every one i am using this fone for last 7 months a great phone design is good light weight good battery but the big problem is the quality of screen not colors but screen its made of third class plastic if u have keys and fone in the same pocket u will see many scraches (unremovable) in the screen a big big disadvantage

This mobile is great. The only problem I'm facing is that the display remains dark (or dimmed) even if there's any missed call or new msg. I've tried to fix this by changing backlight options but it doesn't seems to work. Can anyone help me pls. And yeah, this handset should also have stopwatch.

I bought this phone a couple of months ago and I like it very much. Only thing I am not too happy is the processing speed. Otherwise, it is worth the price. Need a clarification - I classified the contact into groups. In Silent mode, the phone doesn't vibrate for messages from contacts classified under group. For messages from unknown numbers, it vibrates properly. Can someone help?

Hi I bought the cell one week ago. Its pretty good and cost effective. But it is a bit slow. When i tried to download games, it says it is not compatible for downloading of games. Do any body know what might be the problem? or how to download games?

I brought the handset last week. It looks really good with great screen clarity which other top brand mobiles do not have(for such a price), very cheap with GPRS, MMS, JAVA games etc. Polyphonic ringtones are nice to hear. Every coin has two sides. The problem hear is it gets heated up soon, making key pad active takes time, no 'send to many' options in SMS. Other than, it is good. I'd rate 4.8/5 for this hand set.

I purchased the C-210, ten days after its launch. I found the set quite user friendly. Just let me know how I can all the sim no to phone. Secondly is their the option of dowmloading the new tones from the mobile providing company. If yes where to save it. Only regret is that games are not interesting a lot and are not user friendly.

In november 2004 i bought two SGH C-100 cell phone for me and my friend. we had some hanging problem while switch off/on. finally we have changed to nokia phones.But for the same price i heard through my friends samsung will give good colour phone.so, i saw c-200,c210,c230. c200 is now old.c230 is FM is additional feature compared with C210. so,myself & my friends total 5 nos. planned to buy C 210 @ Rs.3800 per instrument in bangalore. when approached the dealer ha had shown sony eriction J210i for the same price.but i donnot know the performance.CAN ANYONE HELP ME WHICH PHONE WILL BE THE BEST COAMPARED WITH THESE MODELS or IN THIS PRICE RANGE PLEASE......., [email protected]

Someone wrote to need for that V200 cable and Easy GPRS v2.1.8. I download the software and buy the cable. But now what I have to do ? You can use WAP, but that's only if you're willing to pay... ORE you can use a Datakabel, wich u can use to download free ringtones and wallpapers. But i don't know if datakabel is possible for this phone... but i think it is

Good slim phoee, really light, great color, even though has a few drawbacks. The phone is generally slow, especially when you unlock the keypad, gets switched off once in a while, even though it will be back to normal once you restart it.Another drawback is that you cant enter new word which is more than 4 letters into the T9 dictionary . But the memory capacity is really superb,and the wap is good, the sound is better than nokia pones in its class. But the best feature of this phone is its price. So this phone is for the price conscious buyer who wants a lot of functions but will compromise on the processiing speed of the phone

I just buyed this mobile this is great in look, slim and light, with high resolution and ample memory for storing mobile numbers, office, home numbers with email address its simply great. This is far ahead compare to nokia mobiles at this price range.

C210 is triband whereas C200 is dual band. C210 is also a little bigger and has a very good battery life.

I just cant get this, WHAT IS THE DIFF between C200 and C210 in functions except color n key-structre! Wat is samsung doing? Are they trying to making some "WORLD-RECORD of most fone-models released by a company" ?? seriously, this is insane :( When C230 arrived, OK it had RADIO, but whats different except a bit of color and structure of keys between the this n C200?

nice design! but too bad samsung prefers making slider and clamshell phones its high-end phones. samsung should try to emulate sony ericsson. i wouldnt buy this phone as it is now. but i would if it had a 2.0 megapixel camera, bluetooth, ample memory. mp3 player, video recorder and a 2-inch QVGA screen. i hope samsung reads this comment!!!
