  • Hi that's because this phone doesn't have os software needed for apps such as whatsapp bbm or viber. To run whatsapp you need os2.0 software for bbm its os.4.0 or anything higher. Its still a great handset for emails mxit ect

  • This phone is the biggest piece of junk I have ever bought. I won't be touching any samsung product again. I have only 23 sms's on my phone and keep getting the message sms memory full so I have to keep deleting my messages. I have had to get a new sim card which I was told would solve the problem. It hasn't solved the problem. I can't receive mms's either. I keep going into MTN offices and had the phone reset numerous times and still no luck. My phone is now going in the dustbin and I am going back to a Nokia which is far more user friendly and you can get all the applications. They also have a decent booklet with their phones explaining everything, unlike the one pager you get with a samsung phone!

  • There s a number of im apps already included, icnl msn, facebook, and gtalk. Theres also yahoo and twitter pps. Note however this is 2g so its slow (and may be expensive dataplan)
