Did you mean Video caller ID? I have D720 and NO, it does not have it.All you can assign is picture, mp3 or acc as ringtone and speed dial.

Sorry, but I don't trust symbian. I have many friends with symbian phones, and they have a problem with the software. Only some Nokia models can have almost everything. And thats why I'm asking, is there samebody with this phone ? It is realy more possible, Opera and Excel will not work, no metter symbian !

MMC Micro is the smallest memory card developed by samsung with faster processing than to any other memory card available in the market. This is the first time that samsung included it in a mobile phone.

I have contacted Samsung UK and they have said that they're not planning on releasing this phone over here, which really annoys me as this phone is exactly what i want in being symbian but also having samsung's styling, oh well, guess i'm going Nokia.

Hello Samsung this is the D730 talking. "Please release me" I need to get out and be used... I can't wait for this phone to come out shame it wont come out in Australia, I will have to have it imported from overseas, maybe even buy it on e-bay. (thank goodness for e-bay)....

I like this phone, specially the design, but 256k external screen? wow! the fone looks slim, specially for a Symbian OS! although it doesn't say which version? what if it is the first version of symbian? and it's only Java MIDP 1! :( Oh well, we'll see when it is released!(thats if it does at all!)

I received an e-mail from Samsung in Australia, they say they are not releasing this phone here in Australia rather they will be releasing the E730 next month June 05. That model (E730) has no memory card slot, what a shame...... :(

Wrong specs.. Camera is 1mpx (1152x864) and the memory card is MMC Micro, which is 3 times smaller than original MMC. Also much faster.

i heard that it might be stereo. this phone looks similar in design and shape to the e700 series but with symbian like the d720. i seen the d720 and its features were awesome but its design was ugly so i was hoping for a flip phone version that would look similar to the e700 series. it has happened and looks to be my next and last phone as samsung are the best phone designers imo. this phone is compact for its features. playing emulators on it should be cool and all those symbian apps. i can now install gps on it thanks to symbian and i also found an fm radio installer for symbian and along with the memory expansion slot it is going to one hell of an awesome phone. i wonder how much it will cost and when it will be released.

Why don't you guys read through the specs, before you write such stupid things. The D730 is a Symbian phone, just as all D7xx phones before (But none of them actually made it to the shelves). It's likely that this one won't reach the retail shops just as its predecessors. And no it's not a flip copy of the D500! E720 is a flip copy of D500. Well we can only hope that this time Samsung will actually release this phone. the D700 is officially not going out, the D710 is "Coming Soon" from last year's CeBit. Tendencies show that D720 and D730 will be just concept models. I really wish that I'm wrong abput this, I wanna see this phone, cause I'm sure that Samsung can make Symbian phones hist as good as Nokia.
