This used to be my phone in 2007. I bought this phone in June 2007 when I was in Grade 5. I used to download and play my favorite games and write memo notes on this phone. In September 2010, this phone started powering off by itself while I was looking at my messages. So I had to power on my phone all the time. Since September 2010, my phone was always powering off by itself automatically even its battery wasn't critically low. Later in January 2011, I bought a Samsung C3510. I didn't give this phone to anyone.

like all slide phones from samsung they last about two years max so when some of the buttons stop working means you got to change the flex cable

well i got this fone bout 3 yrs ago, for my bday, it was excellent for the first 2 yrs. the battery lasted ages and it was a realy cute pink phone which was easy to use, however, it had no bluetooth. the camera is only VGA which was gd at the time but nowadays fones have lyk at least 2 mpixels!! the real downside is that after 2 and a half yrs, each buton graduly stoped wrkng nd it was imposibl 2 use, bt i thnk it wAs jus frm old age! was SO upset wen i had 2 get a new fone! howeva i wud HIGHLY RECOMEND! x

I've had it for two years, dropped it a couple of times, and it still works GREAT. The only drawback is that it doesn't have bluetooth and its been really difficult to find a data cable. I love the size and design.

Ive also had the same prob, the up/ dwn and back buttons dont work. i just found out that they only work wen the slider is shut, how stupid. i've had this phone for a little over 1 1/2 yrs, which for me isnt a longtime. the best brand i think out there is a nokia, but their high end phones are too expensive for my pocket.

this phone is a good looking phone the size is great and the features are good however the outer key pad stops working after a year some times sooner and no repair is possible what a waste. samsung should do something about that.

I agree with Dawn, I have had this phone for over 2 years and have dropped it sooooo many times I'm surprised it hasn't exploded into tiny pieces. It has also been bathed in JD and coke!!! Getting a signal is great (often better than a lot of the more expensive up-to-date phones). The only down point is not having blue tooth and it's almost impossible to find the cables to connect to your computer to download your piccies. That brings me to the camera - not too bad if you just want a bog standard print out, but if you want to mess about with them on something like Photoshop then they are not great. Having said all that I am still reluctant to update, but feel that time is getting closer as the battery will now only hold charge for a couple of days (rather than the 5-6 I was used to) with average use.

Hah,i'm so lucky for this phone.I'd use it about more than 1 year till now and i doesn't give me any problem.But the camera is just VGA and sometimes the photos that i took wasn't look clear enough.

The phone looks good but if I knew that there was a problem with keys functioning after a year of purchase I wouldn't have bought it. I already tried removing the battery but nothing. Any other ideas? Also when I bought it didn't realise it didn't have bluetooth I definitely wouldn't have bought it

No it doesnt have the memory card slot and the memory is 40MB shared memory if your tha kind of person who downloads lotsa stuff this eint for you baby,get something with like upto 1 or 2 GB memory card,you wunt regret that.

bought this phone like 5 months ago and its an ok phone the only problem is the memory and it dont got microsd card slot,no fm radio n no bluetooth that sucks.. n is it only me..wait scratch that am sure its not only me them top keys kinda stop workin unless you press real hard.n tha battery has to be charged everyday though you can get used to that.. atha than that the phone doesn't suck that much and to think i hated it at first it's kinda proved me alittle wrong either way i think al try out the Nokia 5300 for those who dont need much memory on there phones and dont really need a radio or bluetooth,then its great..the camera is of good quality and it has MP4 n MP3 which is really nice

heya, a lot of u say that after a year the buttons on the top slide didnt work, well i had that too, but they actually DO work if u handle ur fone while it is closed, so u can work with it like that, but it is best to get a new one free if its still under garantie, bye hope i've helped!

well hiya i got this phone for xmas in 2005 it worked brilliantly up until jan 2007, so it worked for about a year, now all the buttons on the top of the slide dont work, so i cant even get to the menu, or read new texts that come through! its driving me mad! readin thru the comments this problem has happened to quite alot of ppl, other let downs are, that if you want to get music onto it, the only way i got it on was by gettin people to infra red it to me! and i can only fit 2 songs in the MP3 player coz there is hardly any memory, i must say it is a really cute phone, and am proud to walk round with it in public! the camera is great, and the flash is even better! and the buttons were easy to use when textin. i was let down with the memory, and the fact that there is no blue tooth! but while it was workin, it was the best phone eva, and i wudnt have got a nu phone if it hadnt stopped wotkin, i am thinkin of gettin the LG KG800 Pink Chocolate mobile phone, but the reveiws on that are really bad! can any one please email me an honest opinion about it?!?!? i got this phone in like july or sometime round then in 2006, it is now febuary 2007 and it is already broken which i am not very happy about. it cost me �119 which i think is a ridiculus price for something thats going to break so soon. i can't press any of the buttons because nothing happens when i do and when i slide it open the screen goes black so i am really annoyed with this, also it doesn't have very good connectivity (no bluetooth), it has reasonable memory but i didnt get a usb lead with it?! so it has made it impossible to get any music or pictures on or off the computer! i dont reccomend this phone at all!

hiya this phone seems to have a big problem with the mp3 player, as in people are not sure how to put songs or pictures onto their phone, or the other way around with putting pictures onto a computer. I had this problem and it was solved by me using windows xp, whereas before i was using the old style windows. Dunno if this will help anyone though. Right, now for my problem. A while back my number 7 on my phone decided to stop functioning. As 7 is the number i used most (it is in every mobile number and has p r and s which are commonly used) and as my phone has already passed its year guarantee i decided i would take all the numbers off and have a look. the metal thingy underneath the number 7 wasnt there so i made one out of tin foil [lol] and put the numbers back on. it workers for a while but now '18010f01' keeps flashing in red letters on the screen and my menu looks really weird. also, none of the buttons press now not even the top ones on the top slidy bit, which is strange :S unless i take the battery out and then everything works normally for a while. any ideas?

one more thing, the slide is not as bad as people say. It's not automatic but it is not difficult either. You push it up, and down again. It's not like it slides very far anyways, it's such a small phone! Another great thing about this phone is that now it's only about $100 USD; when I bought it, it was around $250 USD.

for those of you that are having problems transfering files (mp3s/pictures/etc), my suggestion is to get a new data transfer/usb cable. I have two of the same ones, one that came with the phone when i purchased it and another that i bought separately. I can't remember which one it is, but one works fine and the other won't connect at all. this might not be the answer to everyone, but that's what my problem seemed to be. I've also had this phone for about a year. Besides the minor scratches that have appeared due to me dropping it so many times, I stll think it is the perfect phone. Although only VGA, I think the camera is great - especially the flash. Having the option to keep it permanantly on is almost as good as having a flashlight when you need one in the dark. And yes, there is less memory than preferable. But I don't use my phone as an mp3 player anyways. I mainly use it for talking on, taking pictures, and I use the video capability a lot. Quality isn't so bad for videos, and there's no time limit to them; it's just that the screen is so small when you view them on the phone. The speakerphone is also another great thing, it's not the loudest but very handy at times. I'm debating whether or not to get a new phone. Only because of it's style, not because I'm tired of this phone. I've had many slider phones over the years and I just might be ready for a change... maybe not though. This is definitely my favorite little phone. Even after a year, I still receive compliments on how small it is though I've gotten used to it.

I haven't broken it yet in the hundreds of times I have dropped it. I think it is really simple and it is very tough. The camera has relatively good quality also. However, when i push a button it tells me this, "Cannot open port and this programm is switched in offline mode. After, try to switch online." Great little phone! Had mine over a year, only a few let downs! Not alot of storage for music, really difficult getting it to connect with the computer and the fact that it has Infrared and not bluetooth :( Otherwise its great, takes really clear pictures for saying its only 1mp and is a lovely all round little phone!

I bought this phone as a replacement to the Nokia N70,it is simplistic and if you can get around the fact it hasnt got bluetooth and use infrared, it is a really functional, pretty stylish and compact handset and has never had any software problems. All in all a great handset and very user friendly !

I have had the samsung e350 for nearly a year now and the only thing that has slightly irratated me is the style the style of the phone isnt exactly sophisticated simplicity and with new phones coming out that are very slim and stylish you start to wish your phone was more like that .This phone is quite chunky and small but quite cute compared to phones such as the lg chocolate , its very easy to carry around and fits nicely into pockets . this phone is a slide up phone which gets easier to slide up after a while . the camera on this phone is not that good and cant take fabulous pictures , so if you want to take photos with your phone often this phone is not reccomended . this camera does have a flash which has two options , shoot only where the flash only comes on when it takes the picture , or permanent when the flash stays on while you are preparing for the photo aswell , the picture can have frames and effects eg. black & white , sepia in your hand this phone is slid down it feels easy and comfortable to hold but when it is slid up the phone becomes difficult to hold and gets slightly irratating when your changing your hand position all the time when your on the phone the keys on this phone are very easy to use , they arent touch pad , there just normal keys , but some people complain they are to small and are hard to press the right key the default themes on this phone are decent .. you have a blue , a green , an orange , a pink and purple , and your services colour ,eg . t-mobile grey and pink . the menu is also decent and quite easy to understand and to navigate around .. the images are simple also . In order to upload mp3s to the phone, you need both the Samsung software installed on your computer and a data cable. I've had a lot of problems trying to get my computer to recognize the cable I have - looking all over for the right driver software, but no luck. But the phone is excellent, in my opinion. The best (I've had more than 20 different models!) that I've ever had!

i got this phone for christmas in 2005 and it has worked great up until the last couple months. The clock on the phone keeps setting itself back 2 mins (i know its a short amount of time but its really annoying when a message comes through saying recieved at 11.16 but ur phone says 11.14) everytime i change it back it sets itself back after 2 days! now my messages are coming through about 2 hours after someone sends it. i recieved a message someone sent me a MONTH ago a couple days ago! and occasionly it is freezing and the alarm is going of 10 min after the time i set it instead. im not sure whats wrong with it at all it WAS a great phone. Im thinking of changing to a Nokia 6111 coz then i would have infrared and bluetooth but not sure. but the phone was good until recently

Just bought one of these and like people say the instructions to downloading mp3 are poor. just bought a infrared port to download music etc, no joy, rang Samsung they told me the phone could not handle mp3 through infrared (so ignore the manual then?) and to buy a usb lead and do it that way.

to get ur fone out of silent mode hold the # key until it ses "silent mode deactivated" and u cant transfer files from a pc to th fone unless u hav a usb cable this does not cum suplied with the fone u can however purchase them from ebay 4 �1.99, pretty cheap i wud say. i hav had my samsung e350 since christmas and the only bad thing i have 2 say about it is that it doesnt hav bluetooth, memorys not exelent and it scratches very easily other than that its a great fone and is very stilish especially in pink ! hope this helps xXx kimmy xXx p.s email me wit ne problems xXx

why the hell is Bluetooth so important to you guys?it's not like you walk down the street & breath through Bluetooth......it has IrDA & as you know a many phones have IrDA,not bluetooth so there you have you'r conectivity option....as for the spes it has I would buy it if it had an 256k screen & a 1.3 mpx(at least) & I don't intend to look at the D500 or D600 cose I love the design of E350,not D500/D600

i have had my phone since march 2006 and i found it to be a great phone except for the fact that the volume doesn't have that many options - like in some phones where u can select increasing ring or just ring loud with the e350 u can select between 1-5 thats it. As for those of you who have been trying to download songs via a cable, i have found that doesn't work so well. so my suggestion is to 1. download mp3 tones from limewire. 2. get a laptop or computer with infrared and this will transfer mp3 or ringtones to your phones.

Rang Samsung today 21/06/06 to find out why e350 would not let her put mp3 songs onto her phone. Samsung explained it only allows mp3 ringtones, Ive rang argos, they looking into it as they are adverising it as a mp3 player. My daughter is not going to be happy.

Hi all...for all who need to know how to set mp3s as ringtone: 1: go to menu option Settings 2: then go to Sound Settings 3: then go to Incoming call 4: when you are in the Incoming call menu, the phone has Ring tone highlighted 5: on this press the ok button 6: you are in the Ring tone menu, here you can 'scroll' to the left or right to display differnt type of musical tone 7: these are Default melodies, Voice listm Downloaded sounds, Favourite sound, and Music 8: the Music folder is where your downloaded mp3s would be listed 9: then, just select the mp3 of your choice, and you have it as your ringtone To change alarm tone 1: go to Applications 2: then go to Alarm 3: go into one of the alarm options 4: then scroll down to Alarm tone 5: selsct, and procedure same as for ringtone to get the mp3s onto the phone, you can either do this by infrared connection to a laptop or another phone once the phone is connected to the sending source via infrared, just send the file or if you like, you can purchase a usb adaptor you need a usb connector that has one side to fit the phone (the same place that the headset is installed) and the other end a regular usb (if you are downloading from a computer) Hope this helps :)

yes, mine does that when ringing... starts off quiet then gets louder. its supposed to do this so that its not as big of a shock or so u can cancel it straight away without many people noticing, say for example if u were in a meeting. dont worry its just how it is and it only does it for a second or 2 anyway! hope i helped

I absolutely LOVE this phone - but just 1 question, please can someone answer because it's doing my head in!!! - when you set your ringtone & someone calls you, does it start off QUIET & then become LOUDER after a couple of rings? Hi User. If you want to use the USB, you will have to buy a Samsung-compatible USB connector. The phone's usb port is the same place that you'd put the headset. Once connected, the pc will recognize the new software and then you can copy and paste mp3s to the phone the same way you'd copy form folder to folder. Hope this helps :)

Yes, you can have an MP3 song as your ringtone, alarm tone and message tone. This phone is so great. And for so much less than the D500. The only thing is it's lack of bluetooth, but I think it makes up for that with all the other cool features. And a note to a poster I read some time back..you can have the flash on as a lamp, and the phone does not have to be open to take pictures. You can put MP3 songs on your fone 2 ways - via infrared from pc/phone to phone, or use a usb cable. Once you have the song saved on the phone, go to sound settings, incoming call, press 'ok' on the ringtone line..it takes you to the default list , but if you scroll to the right, you will come to a music list. this is where your mp3 song will be. same process for other tune selections.

Amy, the only difference between the Samsung E350e and the E350 is that the E350e is set up with slightly different software for the orange network. The features are all the same, but other, really unimportant details are there eg) slightly different home screen.(Therefore no real difference) Basically if you buy it on orange, you get the E350e, any other network and you get the E350.

I am thinking of buying the samsung e350 after carefully reading lots of reviews, but i still need to know, how long can someone record a video clip for? Given all the good reviews I researched on the net, I was quite excited to buy this phone. Having owned it since Jan 2006, I am rather disappointed as the screen recently went fuzzy then blank on me when I slid it up. The store guys told me that it's due to the slide mechanism being spring, and not magnetic and other phone owners have also had to submit their phones for repair due to the same reason. Additionally, the hands-free car kit also went kaput on me after the first 3 months - I can't hear anything using it! Quite disappointed with my first venture buying a non candy bar phone...maybe I'll stick with the conventional shapes next time

I bought the phone two weeks ago and I haven't been able to transfer an mp3 from or to the mobile by infrared. It starts very very slow transfering the contacts and only two times has finished. Any suggestion? The phone is really great.

yea i got this fone a few days ago afta losing all ma ovas, i got the pink 1, i like it but it dnt have bluetoothe which means sending songs takes so much longer. parently the speakers always break aswell .. mine havnt yet but waitin! remind me of the d500 but a much cheaper version. the pictures are good quality but dnt have a clue on how much memory it holds... nice fone however if you can afford more i would go 4 the d600!

go into your pim and file manager, and click on file manager icon at the top, wait for that to open and then go into local storage and click on where your mp3's are downloaded,(all your songs should come up on the right hand side) click on my phone at the top and then click music, highlight songs that you want to upload then click on the up arrow above local storage then it should start uploading!

I have this phone sinds 3 says now, and i realy love it. Very nice camera, many photo modes, very small, but still easy to handle. Also a mp3 player is installed in it. This is the best samsung I ever had.

i can get onto the pim and file manager but it comes up with the info that says not online, after try to get online, andi have no clue on how to get online, i have tried for ages and can get to my music files but the system still says offline. Ok, I got this phone for christmas in the limited edition pink version. At first I was after a pink vk530 but it had bad reviews. This phone is pure brill. great Video, fully working infrared, clear camera with fun ffects and 30 frames, mp3, up to one hour of voice recording, fully working infrared and a quality, chunky slide. Dosen't get to hot when you use it (Unlike Nokias, cook your dinner on them things) and it has everything you need for the perfect phone. TOP MARKS!

Like most thing s about the phone. Only got it yesterday as a free upgrade. Managed to jam it up already and had to take the battery out to get it to work again. A great all round phone, brilliant features - I'd expect similar functionality from a phone �100 more expensive - it's basically the new d600 without the megapixel camera (how much use is one of these on a phone anyway? for the extra �150 you can buy two digital cameras) and the bluetooth. The only problems are the lack of bluetooth - which is an annoyance more than a problem - and the memory size, 40mb is fine unless you intend to put more then around 10 songs on it, but for those of us who do like more music an sd card or similar would have been great. Samsung - how about an accessory which we attach to the bottom of the phone to allow us to use bluetooth. -AudigeX

Hi, I didn't have a problem putting mp3's onto the phone. Yesterday I downloaded pim and file manager for the e350 from the Samsung website. Today I got my cd and cable. Put in cd, connected phone to computer with cable, loaded drivers. Once that was done I opened pim and file manager, clicked on file, then setup and checked the box to auto load data on connection. Closed that box and opened file manager. Open the phone menu and make sure you are in the music folder and then go down to the computer section and select which mp3's you want to download. You shold then be able to click on the arrow pointing up and it should work.

This phone could not get any better! The camera quality is excellent for a phone, and the flash is excellent! My old phone (motorola v220) had a terrible camera and no flash! The tones are good and so are the games.

I got this phone in pink on boxing day. It is very small so I was immediatly impressed. It has lots of features - quality camera and video, mp3, voice recording, infrared - the camera and video are good and there are lots of extra fun features like frames and effects to use. There is heaps of memory, good clear screen and the infrared works fast, 99% of the time without fail. The slide design is stylish and it has a chunky quality feel. I reccomend this phone to anyone and give it 10 out of 10. Buy it!

i got a samsung e350yeaterday and i do not regret a thing about choosing that phone!!it is tiny cute and has loads of great features. i was going to get the vk570 but when i heared the reveiws i changed my mind. it is small enough to fit into your pocket and has a clear screen. i got it from the orange shop and got a �20 trade in dicount.games are ok but camera faband video brill. infared takes a while but overall it is the best phone i could have chosen. if in doubt just get it coz it is a great phone and it will be one of your favourite phones! so just go for it and you wont regret it!!!!!

The e350 is an excellent Phone. For those of you who want to know how to connect the e350 to your PC and download files:- You could try using an infra-red device installed on your PC or better still a USB cable and you will also need to download and install some Windows PC software from the SAMSUNG Web Site at: The Download Files:- SGH-E350 Samsung PC Studio PIMS (ver.2.0) and SGH-E350 Samsung PC Studio Image Editor (ver.2.0) are probably all that you will need. If you want to invest in a USB Cable you can order one from the Web site for �8.99 Delivery is free and I received my order within one day (also comes with SAMSUNG software but I found that the free software on the SAMSUNG site is more up-to-date). I have also tried using an infra-red www.usbtech.com PC USB device but gave up on it, as it had a tendency to crash my XP system! Hope this info helps.

i have this phone. its a little gadget. sadly i can't afford D500 so this is the next option. no Bluetooth, no extendable memory, unable to do other things when listening to mp3s and yes, it plays ONLY mp3s. no wma, no rm. BUT it's a great phone, the picture is great, video is good, screen is pretty and ringtones are cute. one thing though, the option for keytones is faulty in mine. it only has beep sound. the xylophone & clicks are faulty. perhaps its for all phones? anyway, i manage to Infra-Red 35 mp3s into my phone (40MB memory) it took real long for a normal track of 3MB so i shrunk my mp3s with dietmp3 and dragged them all at once - which took same time for 3MB transfer. it's all good. another final thing, the earphones can't fit my ears. urgh. but i like the phone. :)

By the way, sending info through infrared to E350 works well, but sending info out of it is trouble because of the software. I sent all my contact info and calendar to my E350 through infrared, and it worked great. But then I made a mistake of deleting the original. Now, to send info out of E350, I think I will have to do it one by one. Same goes for SIM memory. To copy all contacts from SIM to phone is one shot, but it seems to copy from phone back to SIM needs to be done one-by-one!!

Hi, "Confused." The easiest thing is to look on all four sides of the computer and see if there is a thing that looks like a small version of the infrared port on your remote control or cell phone. Like a little black glass. Another thing is to look at the list of hardware. Right click on "my computer" icon, select properties, and select "hardware" tab. Click "device manager." Infrared should show up as IrDA or something like that. I hope it helps.

Phone is good in reception, voice quality, speaker quality, and camera, but not a big fan of the software (same with some other samsungs). For instance, there are some sounds I can't turn off unless it's in mute mode, like the sound it makes when you hang up the phone. (If anyone knows how, please please let me know.)

It's the cheaper version of the E800... Which is clear when you slide it open and closed... pretty rough and very basic. Wonder how long it'll last! Nevertheless pretty good for the features it offers at low price.

I got this phone last week and I think it's great. It's tiny. The camera and the video are ok, I saw on many websites that the memory was 30 mb, but you can delete the video and two songs that come with the phone and you have 40mb then. It doesn't come with the data cable, you can get it for 7 pounds on the internet, however uploading the songs is a real nightmare, it's quite hard but once you set up everything it gets easy. I hope this is helpful. Also I recomend an adapter so you can use your own headphones, the samsung ones are really poor.

Does IrDA work normally? I had samsung S500, it had IrDA but it didn't work with ringtones, wallpapers and so on. I could only send contacts from my adress book. Is it the same with E350?

I have recently bought this phone in pink and I love it! It has great quality camera, video, MP3 player, and its design is tiny! I was surprised it dosent have bluetooth so I went to try it out and I was amazed at how good it was. I went on to ebay and bought a disc for it too with thousands of ringtones, MP3's wallpapers and video clips. And it turned out it dosent matter about this phones lack of bluetooth cos it has infrared! Love Martine xxx

to increase vid length u go into video mode, then settings and change the mode from limit of mms to normal for 1hr recording!! hope this helps

Someone posted a comment saying that the e350 had a 360 k colour screen, i'd just like to say that even though i haven't got the phone i know for sure it only has a 65k colour screen. Ok first of all I like the phone. Might sound a stupid question but I`ve bought a D500 cable which I`m assured fits it - it does cos when I connect it the phone lights up. You do need a cable check www.samsungmobile.co.uk and you can order one there at a rip off price of twenty pounds, your better off recording your albums with the voice recorder function and holding it next to your hifi. Good luck!

rite first off i got this fone 3 weeks ago and i had 2 take it back because i could no longer record songs, and hen someone rang me they couldent hear what i was saying. ive brought this phone last week its excellent rreal small and handy can just whip it out my pocket and answer a call real fast like how quick the slide is camera is very good for only 640x480 vga res. The best thing i like about this phone is that it looks like a d500 and d600 and people always mistake it for a d500 i have to tell them its a e350 which they never heard of. videos are fast and smooth but only in good light else even if its a little dim video goes jerky. MP3 Player is very loud on this louder than the z500 but mp3's on this sounds a little shelly compared to the z500 which has a little more base. I brought a infrared dongle from ebay for �6.99 and tranfering pics and mp3's with the dongle was simple and easy mp3's take upto about 10 minutes to transfer via infrared though. would i recomend this phone- most definately its almost as good as the d500 only major things different are that the D500 has a 262k colour screen better than this but not not by a landslide amount, also bluetooth and 90MB memory where as this phone has 40MB memory +4MB for java aps not 30MB as mentioned on alot of websites.

Recently got this phone, am still having trouble with the file transfer software and am awaiting a response from siemens. Overall the phone is great, its small, light, good battery life, some good functions, camera is not as good as old phone but still great for snaps if taken in good light...love the zoom! All the menus and functions navigate and switch quickly; which is more than can be said for some phones. Fast functional and a pleasure to use.

hey, to those who are not sure about this phone its absolutely stunning. the camera is great for a vga 640x480 and if your still not satisfied then it has mp3 player, true tones,and video and filming for up to 60 mins, but if your that serious about the camera then go and by one that is actually a digital camera NOT a phone, but its great and fun once its been set to your liking so don't be shy, and it may not be your cup of tea but it certainly is not crap or s**t so dont insult good work. alos the d500 data cable does work with this phone and well its great so have fun if you get one!!!! ;)

Just want to say the D500 data cable does indeed fit the E350. I ordered one off eBay from mobiles-world for �10 inc P&P and there is a mega CD with it with lots of images and ringtones. The guy was very helpful when I could not get it going too.

Just got my e350, so far its very similar to the d500, the video length is about 35mins long, the camera quality is brilliant, you can use mp3's as ringtones which i think is great, i think the only downside that i can find so far is that it doesn't have bluetooth, but you can still send things using the infrared on it.

Just got this phone today, but am surprised at the poor audio quality of calls, sfter all that is what the phone is for. A call between two e350 handsets was much fuzzier and muffled than my previous nokia 6230. Several times i had to ask the other person to repeat themselves. Are these a dodgy pair or has any one else notice this?

Just had this phone delivered this morning and its fantastic! I know the cameras not "amazing" but its still very good with active zoom rather than presets, and the effects are kewl too. The scrren mightn't be mega resolution either but it doesnt need to be on a phone this size!. mp3 players great - about enuff room for 10/13 songs depending on how big they are. To the person who asked about transferring MP3's and stuff onto the phone, theres an InfraRed sensor on the side, just below the volume key, but if u haven't got IR on your PC there is a data cable available TO ORDER at an extra charge which is annoying. look at the samsungmobile.co.uk site, click phones, click e350, click accessories. No way to order from samsung by the look of it, but get the number for partmaster from dixons and they will prob have it.

If your thinking of getting this phone then get it, you won't be disappointed. Good ringtones nice size pretty cool colour. The slider is not semi automatic as e800/d500 but its a lot better than the e630. Had it from o2 online.

Looks OK but 2 major flaws. 1, 40MB internal memory is tiny when you have an MP3 player on-board. Enough for what, 10 songs? Should be expanbable. 2. VGA camera? Waste of time. Give it a decent camera, or don't bother!

this phone though pretty lacks functionality, the slider is poor, keys fiddly and teh worst things is the terrible sound quality when taking a call, the caller sounds muffled and hard to hear. Memory is too small and menu's too convoluted to perform simple tasks...nice looking and small and light but I'd stick to the nokia if it's performance you are after.

Good on ya! Samsung! They've finally realised that they were missing out on huge chunk of Market area! (the cheaper phones). Samsung has released low spec phones (but still very modern) recently at very low prices, and it's a big hit. 99.9% of the GSMARENA surfers are very much into HIGH spec phones, and won't like this phone. This will be the cheapest, and the smallest slider phone when it launches, it will only contain basic features, a small screen and only E630 technology with minor adjustments. if you are complaining about its specs, look at D500, D510, D600

Still a VGA camera? if they fixed the spec inside the phone, then this will be a top selling phone. EG: 256k colour first of all 1 mega pixel camera, memory slot, blue tooth. I also agree that this phone lacks the connectivity side.
